Will not let me use free trial. Tried several times and wants to charge me… uninstall asap

The greatest. I had a calc. that I used for years that did all of these formulas. Now I have it on my phone. Its easy and very useful.

Price. Says it’s free, soon as you open app it wants you to pay a monthly fee in order to use. What a waste of download.

Love it HOWEVER it’s been crashing!!!. I love this app however recently this has been a major impact on my business as a contractor and giving it a ONE STAR and the app does not function!!! The app will not open PERIOD! I’ve rebooted my phone and nothing, I click the icon and it starts to open then dies. I’ve left a email to support and nothing. It’s a calculator app not a VR or AR app that changes everyday it should function. So because of this I’m looking for other options and you should too!

Pathetic. So i go to download it because it does t advertise they charge… they show it as free… waste my time waiting on download of f of hot spot go to use it and they want money. What losers. Look if your product is so good. You wont need to trick people into downloading it, they will use it find its great and purchase it. Or you could just put a price tag on it and be truthful. But no, they need to trick you cause your so stupid you don't know a good thing when you see it so they have to trick us. I get so fed up with this kind of stupidity.

Best construction apps out there. Calculated Industries has the best construction calculators on the market. I’ve had their actual calculator for years (before smartphones), and got the app for convenience sake. Same experience with app as with the calculator. Customer service is top notch as well. They won’t leave you hanging if you have a problem.

Won’t open. For an app that you have to pay for I expect it to actually work when I need to use it but it just flashes when I click on it and goes back to my home screen

Worth it. Takes a little getting to know how it works but after one proposal I can always tell this is exactly what I needed and didn’t even realize existed.

Great app. I got this app to replace my material estimator calculator, I keep breaking. I use this calculator every day, ordering stone, concrete, even paint. It also converts mm to inches. It makes all these ordering situations easy, plus its about a third the price of the actual calculator and since it's on your phone it's always with you! I highly recommend this app!

Loved the older design. I loved the older look of the app instead of the fake look we have now. The app works great and I highly recommend it to everyone. Much cheaper than the calculator but I use it everyday at work for flooring.

Works great... I have the project calc from this company. this works just as well and now i have one more cool app for my iphone...

Keeps asking me to pay. Paid for a year,but app keeps asking me to pay again,and if I don’t I can’t use the app. I love this app,but this is crazy,I can’t ever use it without the subscription screen coming up.Fix this and you got 5 stars,other wise what’s the point.

Great app. Used it often.

Free trial only starts after you choose a subscription. Buy the physical calculator in a store for $30 or pay a $30 yearly subscription to use it on your phone. Come on developers, this is just silly.

Can’t use app offline!. I’ve had this app for years, it works great to estimate materials, but the new update made it so if you’re not connected to internet, the app just closes. Un-usable from remote job sites! I have the old school calculator that I bought from Home Depot 10 years ago. Guess I’ll go back to that and delete this app. It’s a calculator! Why does it need internet connection to work?! Ridiculous.

Subscription Based. There’s absolutely no reason why a calculator should require a subscription.

Terrible. You have to pick a subscription before you can do ANYTHING on the app. You can’t even check it out or look around. Marketing like this is a very poor decision.

In response to review titled pathetic.. He is correct. Your app does not say in app purchase. Maybe it’s you people who need to figure it out. Definitely tricked into downloading. Only download if your willing to spend money people. Other than that. Don’t bother.

Buy the real thing. Looks like I’m better off buying a real material estimator calculator from Home Depot or Lowe’s and forget the monthly payment. If it last a year, it would be cheaper than this app.

Free Trial Is A Joke. I downloaded the app only to find out you have to pay for the FREE 7 day trial. If you advertise FREE, that’s what it should be. If your product is good, people will by it once they try it.

Waste of time. Showing in App Store like it’s free. Then only offers a free trial once it’s downloaded and can’t be used until you sign up to be charged.

Please fix app update soon. It has not worked in months. I did like it when it worked. I payed for something I'm not getting and don't want to have to do something about that with an attorney if I'm not compensated.

I’m not buying a subscription for a calculator. I already have to manage with other subscription services for Netflix, YouTube or something that I use daily. Not even having the choice to purchase the app once and immediately given the option for a subscription for a calculator of all things is stupid. I would rather just buy the physical calculator. And don’t tell me it’s to keep the app up to date cause my calculator can’t update

Be honest please. Just so everyone knows you have to pay to even open this app I know the developer has it listed as free but it absolutely is not. In app purchases are on a lot of free apps which you can refuse but still use the app. You cannot even open this app without paying I’m sure it’s a great construction tool app but people looking for a free one this is not it

Fantastic with one quibble. It’s a fantastic calculator for my needs and I use it constantly. That said, other calculators in the Calculated Industries family can switch their orientation to landscape mode (on the iPad), this one doesn’t. It only has the one position, not even the reverse portrait mode (which would be useful on all devices). It’s a really useful feature that should make its way to this calculator.

App Crashes. Loved this app for years, but recently it will not open. The app just crashes repeatedly when you attempt to open it. If it were free, I’d let it go… but I paid $10 for this app.

Subscription based you are far better off to go get the actual calculator from HomeDepot. It’s not ok to charge someone for an app then change to a subscription based service without giving the option of using an offline version. I purchased the app years ago and have used it a few times but with the recent update it gives no option but to sign up to a subscription.

Best calculator I've found. I was so upset when I lost my first one and could not find one in the stores where I live. If you do handyman work own a house rent whatever project you need help with this calculator does it for you. You can't afford to not have it in the tool box. The best part for me is I won't lose it because I always have my phone with me.

5 to 2. The old version was so much better. This new update I was forced to have started today. I like the old layout much better. More screen area and buttons were larger. Bad update.

Dud for Metric. Despite this app clearly saying it does metric it only means linear metric measurements. There is no volume measurement in Litres (L) nor is there a weight measurement in Kilograms (Kgs). Likewise Sq.m per L or Sq.m per Kg or any other such metric combination does not exist either. A complete waste of money as a metric materials calculator.
