A Gifted Interviewer. I have enjoyed Ibarionex’s interviews for some time now. Out of my entire playlist of podcasts The Candid Frame is by far my favorite show. The way that he draws out the interviewee’s personality and poses thought provoking questions is unparalleled in photography podcasts. Each podcast is rich with content and simply an auditory delight. The extras that come with the app as well as the ability to mark favorite shows makes this app a truly wonderful app. Thanks!

The Candid Frame. This podcast shares the life experiences and photographic visions of photographers through thoughtful, intelligent conversations. Just good listening.

Great show and app. The app makes it so easy to access and organize the episodes. This is a show where I will want to revisit some of the episodes. Also the show notes and links are easy to access.

National treasure masquerading as a podcast. This is so much bigger than a photography podcast. Think of it as great conversations with smart, interesting people who have the chance to talk about things in life that really matter to them. Quality of interviews is right up there with the best of anything done by Charlie Rose at his best. If you are interested in art, life, and growing as a human being you owe it to yourself to check this out.

Much better than using the Podcast app. This is my favorite Podcast so when it was announced that he was developing an app I was thrilled. The App works great and I can easily get all of the past episodes very easily.

Great app to go with a great podcast!. I've been listening to TCF for almost 2 years now and it continues to be one of the best, if not THE best photography related podcasts on the web. Packed with informative and riveting interviews, it's the one podcast that will continue to inspire your creativity and drive your passion. Now it has a wonderful app to go with it.

A real boost in a burst of photo joy.. What an enjoyable, informative treasure-trove of unique visions & voices, esp. for photographers. In a calm, positive & gorgeous voice, the host engages each photographer in a way that makes you feel you’re at a table with friends, ready to order another round. Great questions. Each story is individual and can to cover a range - from their childhoods, first jobs, the subjects they love, their current projects, all authentic enough to affirm the listeners’ own weirdness er story and still lavish with survival tips anyone who’s listening very closely.

Interviews are Terrific!. While I subscribe to a number of Photography related podcasts, the Cadid Frame is the one I can't wait to listen to each and every week. I'm a little late to discovering Ibarionex, but his approach to these interviewsis simp;y outstanding. While the majority of phot related podcasts out there focus on the gear or specific skills, The Cadid Frame focuses on the photographer and their story, and it is fascinating. A must listen if you are at all interested in photography or simply love to hear people tell their own stories.

Terrific podcast for very interesting photography conversations. I have been listening to this podcast for a couple of years now. It is not a techy camera podcast, but a very interesting series of conversations between Ibarionex and photographers. We hear about careers, interests, how they got started, why they shoot and much more. The podcast app itself is very solid, easy to use and professionally done. Thank you for putting it together and for continuing it for all the years.

Great podcast about photography. I don't know how I have missed to know this podcast till now, the interviews with all these great photographers are inspirational and eye opener at the same time, regardless of what you shoot, and what kind of attitude you have, authentic mindset, commitment and focus is vital, as I see it!

Inspirational and motivational. I support this podcast, and Ibarionex’s efforts. I found The Candid Frame a few years ago. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of listening to all of the back episodes. Each episode features a photographer who always has an interesting story of the work they do, and why they do it. I’m always excited when I get the announcement that the next episode is available, and I look forward to finding time to listen soon after. I have enjoyed the podcast, books, videos, and webpage so much that when Ibarionex came to NYC to give a workshop, I immediately signed up. I also support the podcast through Patreon, because I’m branching off my business from strictly videography, to that and photography. Ibarionex, and the other photographers, provide a window into their approaches. This gives me ideas to think of what my approach is, and what I want to do with it. I’m still learning, and I suppose I will always be still learning. (Pun discovered.)

Simply wonderful. The Candid Frame is a delightful surprise. You see, I’m about as technically ignorant a photographer as you can imagine. This podcast includes me by speaking to every imaginable dimension of photography. I may not understand the mechanics of my lenses, but I do understand composition and a sense of wonder. The Candid Frame is pure dialogue. It’s poetry. It’s jazz. It’s mysticism. And for all of those reasons I am a convert and tune in regularly!

Highly worthwhile.. Learned about the podcast a few weeks ago, and am enjoying it immensely. Especially love to learn of photographers to check out. You are an excellent interviewer; keep up the good work.

The best photography podcast hands down. I listen to TCF religiously and wait with anticipation for each new episode. Ibarionex is an outstanding interviewer and photographer and what’s best about TCF is that there is very little to no gear being discussed. It’s all about passion, story and philosophy. Great program, great app. There are many ways to listen to this podcast but ‘the app’ is the best. #1 photo podcast in my opinion.

Absolutely the best. If I have time to listen to only one photo blog this is the one I listen to. Talented interviewer and interesting guest photographers. Talking about the work and not the tools. Always inspiring.

Candid Frame. This is by far the best Photography podcast I have ever listened to. He doesn't ask the usual questions that are expected to be asked. And dives more in depth into what makes the photographer who he is as a photographer.

Better than going to college. I get more out of the Candid Frame than I ever got going to ASU. Ibarionex is a superb interviewer and the guests are varied and interesting. The talk doesn't devolve into gear talk, staying within the realm of the creative process and how it intertwined with each artist's life. The app is smooth and has easy access to all episodes, making it worth using rather than any plain old podcast player.

Truly Inspiratonal. I've been listening to the Candid Frame for five years now. I love the quality of questions, the wide range of topics, and the personalities that Ibarionex interviews. My Daily Dose of “Can Do”. I was introduced to The Candid Frame on December 9, 2019. I created a post for my friends to donate point and shoot cameras to a program I’m attending in Oaxaca, Mexico. My friend Chuck responded but sharing Jasmin Mara Lopez’s story. Since then, I’ve been working my way backwards loving every chance I get to learn from very talented photographers. Master and inspire your Photography.. My favorite photographer podcasts all in one place. Listen to them all and learn. My preference is to start in 2006 and move forward while simultaneously listening to the newest episode. There are so so many wonderful nuggets and learnings from almost twenty years ago. Hearing how photography has changed and transformed over this some span is incredible. Insights from masters with different perspectives all in one place is very rare. Enjoy and learn!

Best interview content. I have been listening to The Candid Frame for a few years now, and the show has always managed to bring stellar content. Ibarionex directs the conversations toward the thought processes, vision, and life of photographers, avoiding the drudgery of gear specs and equipment obsession so often found in similar podcasts. The app is simple, does everything needed, and very stable.

Fantastic podcasts. Just discovered this app a couple of days ago and have already listened to several podcasts. All excellent. Really interesting, thought-provoking, and inspirational conversations between the host and a series of photographers. Inspirational!. Ibarionex has created a fantastic podcast series that looks at photographers from all walks of life. He asks well crafted questions that his interviewees can really run with, and give us an insight into what photography means to them. I have recently been struggling with the "why" of photography, and stumbled across The Candid Frame, which has inspired to pick up my camera once again. I've listened to over a dozen of his latest podcasts so far, and learned new things about photography and people each time.

A Gem of a Podcast. Definitely not a podcast for gear heads. TCF is essentially a deep dive into photographers as artists, story tellers and concepts with the focus on the medium of photography as a method to create and communicate. I dont find every podcast interesting but the ones that I do are pure gold. If you care more about the image than the gear used to make that image, look no further than the candid frame.

My favorite podcast. The Candid Frame is consistently thoughtful, enjoyable, and thought-provoking. I wish all conversations about photography were this intelligent. As a welcome change from most photography discussion in magazines or online, it mostly focuses on the art side as opposed to the gear side: "Living the photographic life" as he puts it. I especially enjoy the episodes that I think will be outside my area of interest, because l am often pleasantly surprised to be wrong, and to learn something new. Highly recommended.

Amazing. I am so glad that I found this podcast. The interviews are insightful and in-depth and I’m learning about people who I had not heard of as well as some of the better names in the profession.

I love TCF. I heard about this show on YouTube, Ted Viera. This podcast allows a novice photographer like me to understand the development of the photographer's mind. It helps me identify my likes/dislikes better, but most of all, it is inspirational. Many photographers began as hobbyists, and down the road, they realized that they'd found their art. And that sounds a lot like me.
