Need some improvements without increasing price.. Its a very good game app. I don't understand that why they charge for every update. Update or additional levels / players should be free. New players are only little faster than the old players. No other tricks or changes in game. With the total price of $5 this game should also include, 3D view, optional action replay, slow motion of the winning shots, 4-6 camera views, spin shots, swing shots, Doubles, 3D players and audience, etc features. If you are looking for a fastest player(s), only upgrade to an Olympic pack. Other packs are for slow kids.

Revue. I love hit tennis it makes me feel like I'm on the court playing. I'm getting more addicted. When I first began to play Kenny , I lost 17 straight games. But now I'm only 7 or eight behind him. And thanks door replying so soon. What ever I can do to help you guys let me know. Oh ! What was the update for And when can I expect the next version? This is updated review. I like the energy drinks, but it makes you really fast. And it's to easily to ace Kenny. Ok. You guys out did yourself this time. I only played three games I list 2 I had to buy energy drinks to beater Harris. This guy is to old looking to move like that now I have something to shoot for. This latest update jus blows me away

Great game: However!. The game/app is fun. It's very good as far as giving a novice a knowledge of the game. I thoroughly love the app; however I haven't figured out how to lob a shot and the game gives the advantage more often then not to the player pac. i.e. getting to the ball fast enough for return shots.... over all it's a good app. Thanks.

Disappointed. I am very disappointed they need a line judge or chase reviews I hit the ball in they CALL IT OUT. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Serena would be disappointed

Best iPad Tennis. This is the best tennis app for iPad by far and I've sadly spent hours playing it and it does have a lot of real tennis aspects going for it. You definitely need to get the player pack with the pro players because the gameplay in the amateur and semi-pro is slow and sluggish (though it's probably intended so you can get the hang of it when you start playing). When you beat Ken for the first time, I promise you'll get emotional because you're so into it. What could be improved: the addition of drop shots by just holding your racket out. The possibility of getting aces by serving up the middle like in real tennis. Making whether the computer covers the middle or the line on the return of serve affect the return more and make the computer randomly cover the line or middle rather than switching every time you miss the first serve. Adding slices and top spin shots. Adding a tiebreak gameplay option instead of always having to win by two games. Adding a number of sets option instead of always playing one set. Adding a tournament option instead of only playing one set against one player. Adding a difficulty option since eventually you'll be able to beat Ken 6-0 with him barely winning any points or add harder players than Ken.

best tennis app EVER! hands down!. So I had to write a review because this app is one of my favorite things ever and I love it more and more each time I play! I love playing tennis in real life and used to play on a team, but this app allows me to play anytime of the day! It's truly one of a kind and allows you to adjust your swing and speed making you feel the same rush you get during a real match! You can even get a good rally going it gets pretty exciting! And the makers are wonderful, I had a question and they responded the next day and were very friendly! I play this on iPad and iPhone every single day and purchased all of the extra opponents...well worth it to have on both devices! My favorite opponent is Brooke! I very much recommend this! :)

Mr. I want to really like this game but the constant moving of the screen is both distracting and nauseating. The higher the level, the less the screen should move. Or there should be some way to adjust that feature in hit tennis 3. I find myself wanting to play this game less and less now because of it. Also, if you have played tennis in person, you know that you are able to execute way more shots and spins than this game allies. While your opponent can hit anything. The only shot you can hit are top spins. As a tennis player I find this very annoying. I recommend this game if you plan on using the free version only. The movement in the advanced packs make the game less than desirable.

Tennis Fanatic. love this app and enjoy it so much it's the best but add new and challenging opponents . Would love another level of opponents

Good Game. App slows down when not using WiFi. Otherwise it's a great game.

Pretty realistic game. This is a good game and it is the one I play the most out of all the games I have bought. One reason may be because I play tennis in real life so I appreciate being able to it shots I can't hit consistently in real life, haha. I like watching myself improve against each opponent. When I go back and play against opponents that used to beat me soundly, it amuses me. I am a bit irritated by the computer player Brooke. Sometimes I feel like the computer gets a bit tougher when I am in the lead. I mean, do I all of a sudden become a worse playing when up 30 love or 40-15? This happens a bit too much for my taste. That being said, there is nothing like beating an opponent after losing to him/her multiple times. It's hard not to raise your arms in triumph like you just won Wimbledon.

A fun game to play but.... It CONSISTENTLY locks up after every 2nd game, displaying the wait cursor. I press Home and then renter the app and it’s good for another couple of games.

Expected better. This game is stupid if u don't buy more players because when u want to play u get to choose a player which there are only two: and beat both 6 to 0. But if u buy more players that costs money then u get players that they hit really hard and u I could barely see the ball and that when u hit it right for example the ball goes left and when opponent hits the ball hard then u go back to hit it then the opponent hits it softly and u can't move ur players moves by it self and u don't get there in time which makes u really angry so u buy energy drinks in the game which makes u hit and run faster for only like 5 seconds per drink and 3 drink cost 1 dollar see what I am saying? They mess ur controls up so u buy drinks and they get money. Don't get this game because u will really want to buy more players which will get u really mad after u always lose to them and waste all ur money I already broke my screen cuz of this game DON'T GET IT

Played for years !. After collecting 219,000+ coins , when asking how to use my coins to upgrade they were total smart arse’s .... DELETED

Tennis. This is an exciting game. I absolutely love it. It is almost like real play. The only issue that I dislike is that when you are at the baseline and attempting to return the ball, a up arrow or pause pops up and freezes the play mid swing. This causes you to lose a point.

What the heck!. I don't even play tennis, how did I get totally addicted to this game! I won't even go into detail some of the places I take my iPad to enjoy this game but let's just say, I'm officially an addict! I hated it at first because it was a bit hard to figure out the serving process, but one day it just connected. After figuring out that id mastered the free version, I was compelled to buy the update for more players - haven't quite gotten those down yet, but love trying! A+++

Terrible...how is this stupid game getting so many good reviews?. It's great that this game is free and all, but with all the inventive and intuitive things being done with the accelerometer these days, this was the best they could come up with?! First off, you get these great looking cartoon characters which looks to be promising...but wait, all you end up with is these big crappy rackets that don't even respond half the time. Would be a little more forgivable if you could actually see some of these great cartoon characters running around the court, but there are just pictures of them that pop up with the constant annoying in-app ads pestering you to 'upgrade' to better players. I might not mind so much if they weren't every other GAME several times during one set. Why would I upgrade to more difficult players when I can't even get the stupid rackets to do what I want them to do with the three players I have? It's amazing to me that nobody can figure out how to develop a half decent tennis game for the iPad. This one certainly doesn't solve this issue. Deleted...

Realistic and fun. This is a great game, one of the few games I have and actually play. I would give it five stars if it would automatically turn off notifications during play. In addition, sometimes my finger accidentally drags up or down from an edge of the screen and brings with it the notification screen or control center, which gets in the way of the game and usually causes me to lose the point. Really annoying.

Run...Away. "Hit Tennis" is a miserable game, a lazily designed and created as a way of becoming a cash cow for virtual energy drinks. The game on the ground does not replicate the excitement and pace of real tennis. Instead it is an awkward, clumsy "b" or "c" list game that makes it impossible for the player to hit with a pace that can compete with the higher-level players. However if you are willing to fork over 20 and $30 at a time you can drug yourself into competitiveness with energy drinks that allow you to hit the ball hard enough to compete with the best players. The game never ever upgrades or updates probably because the designers are off to their next single hit wonder. Do not buy this game. I've tried playing it twice and have deleted it from my iPad both times. Instead try "Stick" tennis A game with a lot of humor that actually allows you to advance and progress. Run away from these "Hit" tennis courts and never turn back. This game is ANYTHING but a "hit".

THe BEst GAme. I have played many tennis and ping-pong type games and I enjoyed some and some well... As you would say SUCKED!!!!! BUT NOT THIS ONE it was.......is the BEST paddle type of game out there, if you are viewing these reviews prior to loading it stop reading and load it I'm 46 yrs. old and a fax still blows my mind I thought pong was the SH**!!!!!! Back in the day and NOw I play tennis when I should be working and it blows me away how good of a tennis player I have become LOL!!! Any way get this app, oh and the "coach" is the easiest to I think. Good Luck LOve!!!!!!!!

fun and relaxing, but could add more things to it. I enjoy playing this tennis game a lot! I think this game should have more tennis opponents to play against and a few of the famous tennis players in the game. Like Serena Williams or Li Na (chinese tennis player). I also think that there should some tennis courts to pick from on where you want to play. Like a blue tennis court or something.

Destined to be a classic. This is one of my all time favorite video games. I am an avid tennis player and this game is just realistic enough. I wish it had spins, dropsots, lobs, etc, but that might detract from the elegant one-finger interface. The racket does stick sometimes, due it seems to humidity, sticky fingers, and/or CPU lag. Not sure there is any fix for that. Kudos to the developer for releasing today's update. Is it possible to beat Bull without buying energy drinks? I hope so -- otherwise that's lame. Here's my feature wish list for future updates: - network 2-player!!! - spins, lobs, dropshots - doubles - online forum to share tips I only wish others in my life were as elated by my first victory against Kenny. Now back to the court... UPDATE: I have beat Bull 10 times now...it was a long road but I assure you it is possible!

A decent game but needs some things fixed. I really like playing this game, but it's really annoying when your racket freezes up n there's nothing you can do but lose points!! Also, the serving can be a big issue as you can't aim your racquet n in practice mode you just consistently serve from just one side, making it a bit hard to adjust how to serve from the opposite side without playing a match to practice from that side..tho I have been able to get this down..My racquet freezing is a BIG Annoyance, let alone frustrating. - due to these two major issues, I have to deduct 2 stars..else I would considerate it a very fun game, ESP if you are or have played trennis in real as I have.

It's definitely better! :). Well, I had the first version, and liked it- a little. The ball was soooooooooo slow, I couldn't think straight! But, now the ball is faster, but............ I have another complaint! How the heck do you aim the ball? I mean when I serve on the deuce (right side, for those who don't know) side, it goes straight out. Like out of the court right away! And sometimes the ball doesn't aim right or you go to the wrong side of the court, or whatever! The new players, although I haven't tried them yet, seem better! Although this is better, it need to be even better. Emphasize on the even! Maybe have a better way to aim, or anything! But good job updating it so fast after I installed it! Happy (hopefully) fixing!

Detailed Review. I liked this game, but it did have it's glitches. First, the players were either very easy or very hard, then again, I actually play tennis, and this is much much easier. Next, the game got boring- the same thing going every time: serve, return, point. Serve, return, point. This game was fun, but it wasn't very "real." I thought that it would be even a bit more realistic, but I wasn't satisfied. It would have been better if they showed your head on the body of a girl/boy playing tennis. Maybe a video camera would be nice on this iPad. Well, I have shared my feelings on this game, and wouldn't urge people to get this, but if you do, it wasn't a complete waste of time and/or money. (considering that it was free)

terrible game mechanics, impossible to get into rythym. I don't see how anyone can say this is a great game. It all feels very sluggish and unresponsive. It is impossible to get into any kind of rythum and it feels like I am playing tennis underwater. My opponent hits the ball with pace but I seem to have a hard time generating any pace. When I swing fast, I miss, when I swing slow I seem to hit the ball well, but it's difficult and unenjoyable. I can eek out a win but it is not fun. Maybe I am missing something. I hope so. I removed this app after 10 minutes. For my money, chop chop tennis is 10 times better. I tried it again and reiterate that this is a terrible tennis game.

Good game but a few too many bugs. This is a good game but there are a few more bugs that still need to be fixed, such as, at least for me, on the two player part, the points you score go on the opponents score instead of your own and vice versa. Ive played tennis for years and I think this is a quite accurate game. Once the bugs have been fixed, i think people would like this game more. At least I hope, if the little kids that think they make good reviews by putting curse words grow up. I believe that this game should deserve at least 3 stars, maybe 3 and a half, until they fix the bugs, then it would be about a 4 or 4 and a half star game. I hope this review helps other people get a better feel of what this game, unlike the childish reviews of some other people.

This app is bad!!!!. If you want to get this don't it is the worst app on iPad/ iPhone I think that I will get it again just to have the pleasure of deleting it again this app is like giving an Eskimo a donut it is so bad so if you want to get it don't and save yourself the pain and trouble of playing like a chicken with poker in a chicken sandwich house so DONT GET THIS APP!!! It is like a fudge brownie in chicken soup. But if you are a sesame street fan then I recommend this app so highly that I will scream to the heavens ELMO get this app.

It ok. I wouldn't want to give it 3 stars because it is fun but I wouldn't want to give it 4 either since it's pretty basic and some of the controls feel a little wonky. It only seems to register full pull back at the very bottom of my iPad. I would have liked to have a full pull back where ever I start my touch at. The in game ads are not bad. In between every win/lose match there is a pop up for download this app type ad. The ad is super small and sideways and looks way out of place and thrown in at the last minute probably once they saw people were actually playing;). It's fun for a time waster but there really is now wow this game is.....,it just is. Play it and have fun. Maybe a cool tennis game like mini golf would be fun after all.

Fun game, but..... The advanced players are impossible to keep up with. Maybe it's my fingers, but I can't see how anyone can beat those players. Otherwise, the serving and swing motion are very good.

Forget the others. This is the one.. Have tried others but this one is second to none. A smart game that really put you into the action. Upgrades have really improved those slight little bugs. Well done!

Lots of fun. This is clever entertaining game and an excellent way to occupy an hour or so commuting! The popup ads in the free version didnt bother me as it gives you a break between games and they are easy to dismiss and move on. The full version is much better and is my favorite game

It's ok. This game has it's gains, but it's weaknesses, it's not purely realistic as you are playing with your fingers on a flat surface to swing a racquet, not ideal. But it does impress with the real action swing mechanism although it is restricted to the flat one dimensional action. Having to buy energy is a waste of money in the end, it's only to beat the more impressive players, it's a hike in money that way, should have introduced a bonus energy system as well so we can earn energy as well as buy . . Game is good, but not excellent, an excellent game would have playability perfected . .

Like it ;). I'm not a tennis person but this game is addictive and really good to play. You might not get it at first ( most people get it straight away) but you'll come back to it and play it and say " umm this is actually a good game"" ..... I really enjoyed it and so will u so get it ;)

Tennis lovers rejoice.... What a great game. Very realistic and good fun. Easy to learn, hard to master. Imparting different spin, drop-shots, angles around the court - it's good fun!! It's just a shame you hav to purchase in-game players. It would become an expensive game if u buy all the player packs and not worth the total price. Hard to see the value of purchasing in-game energy drinks. Would be better to have all players available at a $3.99 price tag. All in all a really good game.

What a game. Hit tennis 2 is an amazing game! It has every asset a game is to have and i also love how ot moves itself and u have to hit its like u and the racquet are using teamwork. I absolutely love the game and i am addicted to it!

Tennis star. Great match play. Could do with some umpire calls and player sighs, grunts and tantrums, as well as more animated crowds in player countries colors and as player groupies (the crowd could, for example, do Mexican waves, boo late arrivals and call out disrupting play. The cameraman might zoom in on celebrities and spouses/ lovers, all to create a real Grand Slam atmosphere). And what's with males playing females on singles matches? A big no no! Otherwise a great fun and very addictive. Thanks.

Hit tennis version 2.6. It is heaps better, reacts faster than before. I rather like the remarks in the upper right corner such as "professional".

"Challenge Rule" implemented. I love playing Hit Tennis! The improvements I would like to see is the "challenge rule" when u think you've received the incorrect call.... And I think the app needs more players and the opportunity to lob and to move quicker around the court!! Cheers brad

Great tennis game. Good user interface, simple graphics coupled with easy and responsive controls makes this a less-is-more tennis bash out.

Addiction Plus. Could do with a few extra opponents in free version, but very addictive and fun to play.. Love playing the backhand winners, feel a bit like Federer!!

Tennis luv it, luv it, luv it. Luv the game but get frustrated when ball goes high for no apparent reason or drops short. Still takes up a lot of my time though. Taking up far too much time now. Hate it. Too addictive. Might have just one more game.

Awesome. This game is pretty good and addictive. worth a try not much in app purchases. they also don't cost much. Not like eg dragon vale where in app purchases are like 100 dollars.(maximum) So try this!!!

Good game but.... It is a good game but when you or your opponent hits the net the game is stuck. Obviously a bug but until it is fixed you can’t finish a match

Disappointing iPad version. This is a great iPod app, however when resized for an iPad it only recognises any finger movement from the players/persons half of the screen. I would have thought the iPad version would have taken advantage of the larger screen for optimal player enjoyment.

Brilliant. Love the app but plz make the other players free! Im getting sick of smashing michelle all the time but i don't want to pay $2.50 either. U should also be able to play on other surfaces e.g clay and select the match length e.g 3 sets. And where do u find ur unlocked achievement?? But overall i love the app!!!

Good effort.. Great, addictive game that could do with some improvement. I am sure that future updates will make gameplay much better. 

So much fun! 😉. I love this game so much it's easy to control and not confusing but at the same time it's not so easy that you just win every time without trying definitely one of the best apps I have downloaded.

Great game!. I find Hit Tennis an enjoyable, easily navigable game for all ages. It's simple, yet effective design adds to the simplicity and ease of the game play. Games like this are not too common, which shows just how much of a beauty this app really is. I would recommend it to any person I know, just by it's simple game play. Crowd noise is my only negative in this game, which I find an over excessive amount of noise, like that after a set, ruins any ambience created during the set. Overall, a fantastic app that you shouldn't go past.

Hit tennis cool. I found this game pretty easy but at the beginning it was a bit difficult but as u progress u get better I guess. In the end I give a 4.5 out of 5 .

Stop rigging players!!. Hey just want to say I really like the game but I do have 1 gripe. I have never beaten Kenny - EVER! I can beat the rest in the player pack 1 sometimes 6-0 but the closest i have come with Kenny is a loss of 6-3. My gripe is that when Kenny looks like he is losing, a lot of my shots all of a sudden are called out, when clearly they are in. And my player doesn't seem to be in the right position of the court to return some of Kenny's vital points. I have also had 3 other friends of mine play to see if I was just imagining it. They also said it was definitely noticeable. I have been up 2-0 and even 3-0 only to lose 6-2 and 6-3. What's the GO? Seriously.

Good for a bash!. Smooth game mechanics make for a really fun bash. Pretty addictive but it would be nice to really be able to smash the ball.. It sometimes feels that you really can't get behind it and give it all you got. Anyway, kinda hard to explain but who cares, it's free!

Makes me want to start a hobby for tennis. Very sports entertaining and mind exercise not to mention the muscles build up in my hands. Excellent app! This should best link as a marketing ad to a real Tennis ad like sports campaign, tennis coach, tennis fans.

Basic game is great but the add ons are a bit dubious. Straight out let me say that it really is a great game & it does have that addictive quality. I loved the basic game with the standard players but when they were too easy to beat I decided to buy the player pack 1 for new challenges. This is where it all changes... The top player in this pack, Kenny is the problem. You might beat him for the occasional game but the AI is basically unbeatable for the match unless you use the energy drinks ( a LOT of them ) & the real $$$ cost in doing this is what ruins the game for me... I think that the game developers need to look at this part a bit more closely... My 2c worth anyway...

Cool. It is very reaslistic and fun. But it would be better if in the tournament mode there were more players for free even if they were the same skill level as the others.

Hit tennis. I love this game it combines simplicity with fun. The multiplayer is just expertly done and good for even the smallest screen. If you don't have an iPad than this is your best bet for a tennis game. Oh and have I mentioned it's free!

Best tennis I have seen but room for improvement. Basic free version is fun for a limited time. Simulation is frighteningly lifelike and at times you actually feel like you're on a tennis court. Many real tennis strategies like the serve-volley actually work and have obviously been considered by the developer. However there's nothing in the notes that incentivized me to upgrade to the paid version. More players doing more of the same? Sports drinks? Come on devs and show me why I should pay you. Suggestion: 2 player version with each player on their own iPhone. Current version divides the iPhone screen in two making the actual playing space impractical for users.

My absolute fav. I have been in love with this game for about 2 yrs now. Cannot wait for more and better players, different tournament options, different surfaces, etc.

Trying to up sell?. I like this game however I felt that it was not as good as the previous version. It felt if you want to keep playing you have to keep buying more players etc. This version is only free at a basic level!

Good but not great. This game is very good once you get adjusted to the controls. However there is an issue with the scoring and the opponents. The scoring does not follow tennis convention, you basically play only one set before the game is won or lost. Also the AI makes lots of unforced mistakes. This is a boon when your starting out, but very iritating once you have the hang of the controls as it makes the games very easy. (even against the harder AI) The control issues that are mentioned in the other reviews are simply a technique problem. You do have to aim and time your shots to get them in. The strength of your shots depends on your follow through which can be controled, it simply takes a little practice. Also ghe two player mode restricts the screen to such a small size that playing the game becomes difficult. Please add bluetooth support so two player becomes better

Great game. The game is really good but at one time I can only play one or two games. There should be some sought of tournament mode because then I wouldn't be able to put my iPod down

Excellent. Wonderful game! Upgraded to all tennis packs using tennis bucks. Accumulating tennis bucks requires a bit of patience but is well worth the wait. Son accidentally deleted the game and the support team reinstated my packs. Can actually play a tournament and win a trophy. Haven't used energy drinks though :)

Awesome game. I'm addicted to the game but I can't play it on my iPod it keeps crashing after 2 games. Works on iPad luckily because I really like it. I've noticed other users have had problems on iPod so will you please fix it?!?!?!?!

Quite entertaining. Aside from having to purchase upgrades to continue a tournament... This is an entertaining app!! Do enjoy it. Don't want to spend multiple $1.99 on upgrades however to progress.

I like the game, hate the ads! So I paid for the upgrade and love it!!. And now I'm beating Kenny!!!! ( the rest are easybeats ) More players of Kennys standard will get you 5 stars. Have played this game for a long time and like the game play. Took a while to control but can now hit the ball anywhere. The recent update made it unplayable until the second update soon after. Disappointed in the increase in intrusive ads during the game. I didn't worry about the one ad at start up but between every game it's annoying. Also don't think this is a game of sufficient quality to expect payment for some extra players.

Hit tennis. Just beat the game, but it gives a good tennis experience for a quick match.

Dumb. It's to hard the hit the tennis ball it's only easy servreing. But the graphics are ok.

Hit Tennis 2. Entertaining game but a little bit buggy. It freezes intermittently during your swing. Also the intro version crashes when ads are being delivered.

Controls are spotty at times. During a match the racket freezes up when you are trying to swing resulting in a lost point. The game is hard enough at the faster speeds for it not to work correctly. Plus it seems to happen at the worst time during a match. The latest update fixed some of the other problems I have encountered. Game play has gotten better.

Hit Tennis 2 is a 10. Coming from a former tennis junkie, this app is loads of fun. Each game feels like I'm playing against a real person. And the various modes of play and different players (even without the expansion packs) keep things fresh. Although having played dozens of games I still can't figure out how to develop a consistent serve. And I can't figure out why my serve return from the right side is out of bounds more than 50% of the time, but it doesn't stop me from wanting more.

Not as bad as rated... I actually like this game. People say that the controls are terrible and such but thats because they don't give a chance. The controls are very simple and work perfectly fine for me. I can play a fair game although i would like more difficult opponents. Give it a shot if your willing to simply slide your finger toward the court unlike people to stupid to realize thats how you play.. Definitely an app with potential in my opinion, good if you like tennis. And its free too!

Def a keeper. Easy controls for the iPad, takes a little getting used to on a phone but once you get the hang of it, very fun. Took off one star because they need to reduce the price of the energy drinks considering it's impossible to beat certain players without them. You're paying for both the players and energy drinks, one of those should be included with the "free" download. Otherwise, great app. I've been playing tennis my whole life and this game is realistic and interesting.

Excellent Upgrade - Serving Bug Needs To Be Fixed. Love the upgrade recently done on this app; however as someone else pointed out, there is an issue with trying to serve or return the serve. The racket has to readjust everytime before you can hit the ball. This needs to be corrected as soon as possible. Without the fix, you can barely get by the intermediate level. Fix the bug and I will rate this 5 stars.

Great app but.... I am a huge tennis fan but don't actually play. This app is great! I actually feel like I am learning strategy while playing! I can't give it 5 stars because this App doesn't actually apply tennis rules. Every ball is just called out rather than a fault, double fault, let, etc. If "calls" we're actually made under the correct tennis rules, I would give it 5 stars.

Ehh.... Fun and addicting app... But it keeps saying that it is out when it is in. Like some of the other reviews, it is hard to control. I still play it because it is so addicting=D Hope this helps ! Also... The scoring on the two player is messed up. It says (example) opponent: 30 on one side and then it says opponent with the 30 on the other side too. Normally it would say You: 15 and then Opponent: 30. But it says the same thing for both. You can give this a chance, but I wouldn't suggest it.

Awesome. This is the best tennis app out there. Its simple, yet gets the job done and is lots of fun. The new version really improved the line calls, which had left me acting like McEnroe a few times before. Not only am I happier, but so are the cats and my wife (who couldn't understand how I could get mad at a game). Best game out there (besides the birds and the rope)

Very life-like. I'm truly amazed at how each little finger movement gives just the right action. At first you're just trying to hit the ball, but after a while you feel like you can actually aim, and eventually you're even putting spin on the ball and serving aces. Great game!

Very great game. Best game I've ever played , never gets boring. This is a follow up after 2 years. This is the best game ever. I don't like tennis in real life but the controls are excellent and though I've gotten bored at times, like with all games, I always come back to it. Still challenging and fun to play. Wish more characters were added and online play for this game against real competitors. I'd pay for that. These controls are better than hit tennis 3

Bring on the tennis circuit. Being interactive as opposed to a push button control game makes this app. more enjoyable. Find myself really getting into it when hitting a winner or getting an ace on the serve. Love the tournament play. Hope to see more opponents added in the future.

Luv it. Luv this game sooo much. It's great that u can pause a tournament and then continue later. I haven't bought any player packs yet, but I'm sure they're good. I've also come across the energy drinks. They're great. They make u hit harder and run faster. There aren't many things to do if u haven't bought a player pack, but it's still very enjoyable. I totally recommend "Hit Tennis 2". :)

Awesome app. I really liked this ap because I am a tennis player and this ge helps me get my spirit up even when I'm not playing. I searched the whole ap store for a tennis game and there were 3. This one is the best because in the other aps you had a stick figure that couldn't move fast around the court. This game is the best tennis app in the ap store!!! Hurray!!! Hiphip hurray!!!

Master. Game is nice and addictive but here are some things that i noticed: Physics is from pingpong or table tennis and not really from tennis. Audience is biased to your opponent. They give you a so so applause but a tremendous cheer when computer wins a point. Computer opponents are easy to beat except for the pro part like mr. Hayes. They are exceedingly quick and will almost always return your ball. Also, computer can sometimes place the ball where you cant hit a return. I dont see a way to do a fast extreme cross court return(ball always slows down when i do this). Another thing i noticed is that my racket stupidly goes to the net when its obviously a bad move but wont always go there (to the net)when im doing a fast serve.

Addictive. Actually is more fun and addictive than I thought. Seems pretty simple but you learn how to serve better as the game goes on and you learn how to hit it crosscourt. Each opponent has their strength. Pretty cool. I have the free version but will be upgrading to get tougher players that are a little more challenging. I haven't had an energy drink yet. Great free game.I bought all the players pack and some of them are way too hard. I feel like I'm good but these players are impossible to beat. I start and then just give up. I mean I like a challenge but c'mon.

Greatness. /• | \. For all those tennis players out there, the best tennis game is found!! Although it's not that realistic the backhands, forehands, aces, vollies, all make up for it! This is a great game, just before you buy it make sure you have alittle extra cash to unlock more players and energy boosts. It is a must have game!!!

Excellent app. This has quickly become my most often played game/app. Great graphics and responsiveness. You really feel like you are playing. I have found the two player mode to be a little hard to use, but playing against the built-in opponents is plenty of fun.

Hit Tennis 2. I have been playing Hit Tennis 2 for a year now and I still can not beat the top three players. Even though every time I meet one of these three players I get a little frustrated, I still enjoy beating all those other players. I try to improve my serves and my playing strategy with these players. I never tire of trying again. If you like competition, you will get it with this game. Manny from Puerto Rico

Badly programmed. Put the iPad in a case on the table, then watch what this game does. Screen constantly flips between upside down and normal. Boy, these guys need to learn how to program using the accelerator properly. Second issue: Try to hit a ball towards the left side of the screen. Impossible. I can play beautiful crosses towards the right, do great line drives on the right hand side of the court, but crossing the ball to the left? Impossible. No control at all. Same with serves - no problem placing it in the right court, but I can hardly even make it into the left court. Overall, this app needs a learning mode where IT learns how you play, not the other way around...

Addicting. Game is a lot like the real thing, strategy, hand eye cordination, recommended, only gripe is when you beat all of the original free players and purchase the player pack it is almost impossible to beat last 5 or 6 players unless you "purchase" energy boost drink, Otherwise good game

Get it while it's free!. I'm telling you this game is just enjoyable, and addicting. Perfect for wasting 30 mins or so. Great gameplay, smooth and easy to learn. But, if I have to say something negative, it would be that you have to win 5 games to win the match. It would be better if you could make it best out of 5. So you only have to play 3.

Pretty good, but could use a few improvements. It is very good for what it is supposed to be. Could use some improvements though. Voice cannot be controlled using iPad volume rocker. You have to go to game menu to turn it off or on and no control for volume level at all. I think it would be more convenient in portrait mode than land scape. Swipe detection could use some more sensitivity. I have to swipe more than the screen width to get a full swing.

The Real Review. Hit tennis what can I say. This is what I will say first if you are looking for a real tennis game and opponent that will keep you on your feet it's ok. I mean you can't move your racket so it gives you less of an ability to move. Not to mention the only player that can play real tennis is the last player. Some of the calls are far and some are questionable. Overall I believe that the game is alright, it is nothing overwhelming or fantastic.

Hit Tennis ten star addiction. This game is really a lot of fun. I suffer from a degenerative spinal disorder and the game takes enough focus that it helps me ignore some of the pain. It isn't very high tech and the backhand is a bit frustrating to me but only because it's my weakness. Great game well designed and phenomenal customer service. I would give it more stars if it would let me. The pro players in the player packs are very good and make the game even better. Go for the full version and enjoy.

Good but. Well i agree this app is good but many problems. When I read another review the guy said everytime he hit the ball the ref said it was out even though it was in. And my problem is that every time I beat the person it says you lost even though I won so I can't advance to the better people. Plz fix and I'll give another star

Worth the download. Definitly download this game. It's fun and you can play two player. The graphics are pretty good, and the gameplay is awesome once you learn how to play. (learning curve is 30 mins) The negative thing is that there are only three oppents and you don't control where you move (but the auto-moving works well) - Download

Pretty decent. Not bad for a free app. The ads are a bit annoying, but understandable to keep it free and supposedly buying a player pack gets rid of them. The controls are a little bit quirky. Sometimes the racket gets "stuck" and lets a ball get by because you can't swing. The screen rotation seems to have a bug. The menu will rotate, but the game doesn't. So sometimes you can accidentally start a game "upside down" without realizing it and lose a point before you can rotate. The scoring system seems to have a bug. It says that I earn "career points" when I win, but when I try to load the scoring section it just crashes back to the main menu. I gave it 3 stars because there are no half star options. 2 and 1/2 would actually be about right until the bugs get worked out.

awsome game. took a couple minutes to get used to but after the tutorial the game really started to pick up. the game overall had very few glitches and I wish you didn't have to pay to get rid of adds. should also have more free players

Not as good as it could be. This app seems like it could be good if worked on (iPad version). The controls require to swipe your finger most of the way across the screen to get a decent hit. Also, the movement of the racket around the court makes no sense to me personally. There should be an option to stay near the back and lunge forward if needed. I have not played this game on an iPhone so I wouldn't know if it's good or not. The iPad version needs work though.

Entertaining for adults, challenging for kids. I've really enjoyed playing this the last couple days. Being able to direct shots with the flick of the finger is impressive. Game at times will call a shot inside the line as out, when it is clearly in, but not enough to take the joy out of the play.

read instructions people. Most of the 1-star reviews are from people who didn't read the instructions, and therefore can't understand the rather unique controls. The game is very simple, and for what it does it isn't great. The physics are somewhat awkward and the gameplay unrealistic. It takes a little while to get used to the timing an the contols, but after that it can be fun. It's free, so if you think it seems interesting just make the quick download, read the instructions, and give it a couple games. That only takes 5 minutes so why not?

Half and Half. I am kind of disappointed in the performance of this app. When playing against a computer player, it's constantly saying that I'm out. I agree with that, but only because it's so hard to hit the ball! It is way to complicated! It's kind of fun when you play the practice mode, but other than that, this app needs to be fixed. Also, all of a sudden, I start lunging to the front, and I can't get to the back!

Above average. Good app, with hard difficulty curve. Wish there were some real players and that one could enter their own name for the player. However, cannot complain about gameplay, it's lacking ability to manually control when to volley, but overall gameplay's excellent.

Somewhat fun.... It would be a lot more fun if they fixed all the glitches. I played multiplayer mode and neither of us could serve! The only reason I won is because I had to serve less! My ball would either nosedive or be out no matter where it bounced! PLEASE fix this! In 1 player mode I, being terrible at tennis, played against Jack Filbert. He would have 15 points and I would have 40. Suddenly whenever I hit the ball it goes straight up in the air! It keeps doing that until Jack wins! This has happened to me so many times! PLEASE help!

Simply Fantastic!. This game is very awesome... And helpful! Hit Tennis🎾 actually helps me in my tennis games, helps me build coordination. This game is truly wonderful, but the only drawback is that there are only a couple people to challenge against in each levels.😞. Other than that, it's a great game to download, for tennis players out there, and those who enjoy tennis!

I'm downloading it. I play real tennis and ❤️ it but is it fun to play virtually. I mean the first comment I saw said it was terrible but some of them say it's amazing and never gets boring so I'm going to try it once it downloads I'll put another comment after I play and listen to what I say later because I'll explain every single detail. Everyone has a different opinion so let's see what mine is. When I rate it right now I'm going to give 3 stars cause I ❤️🎾 we'll see if those 3 stars change

Great Game. I don't have any other games on my iPad but decided to give this one a try. It's just plain fun! A little too fun - I should be going to bed earlier but instead I keep playing Tennis. Fun app & easy to learn and use. I haven't purchased any player packs yet but I'm thinking about it - so I can have some better competition on the court.

Great but a few glitches?. This is an awesome game. Very intuitive and relatively easy to get. The problem is that once you get past the easy opponents, it becomes hard. Basically, if an opponent is fast, I don't know how to get past him. Also, needs some more in depth tutorial, so far I haven't been able to figure out how to lob. Bought a 120-pack of energy drinks and I can't see them!! Glitch?

Great game. One of the best games I have played. The game is very responsive to angle, speed and lobb of touch. The only problem is with my finger which gets sweaty after a while and starts sticking to the screen which makes it hard to play tough opponents. If the game could go online and we could play against real players in real time it would be amazing, then i would give it 5 *s.

Hit tennis 2. Love this app. It needs better players and a instant replay feature but as a tennis player I'm addicted. I emailed the developers for a new version with better players and they said it should be out shortly. Still haven't seen it though and I check every couple of days.

Best Game Ever. This is the most addicting app I've ever used. The developers who made this deserve a lot of credit - it runs smoothly and the interface is simple but extremely fun. There are one or two hiccups with Bull (serve returns that are so fast you can't see them being the main issue) but all of the opponents are fun and help you sharpen yourself for the big three at the end. Great game.

Terrible at first, amazing after. I had doubt about this from the bad reviews, and my first couple of games they were all proven true. I couldn't aim, my shots didn't go hard. But after a couple I games I acually read the instructions, and you CAN aim, on SERVES and SHOTS. once I got how to play It just kept getting more and more fun. It's free, and if u decide to get it, don't give up after a game or two. This game is really fun.

forced to uninstall it. I installed this game sometime last year. I have since defeated bull mcgee, the strongest player, 30 times. However, the game's quirks, listed below, have impelled me to uninstall it. 1. Annoying male voice yells "out"--no way to turn this off without completely disabling all sounds in game 2. Sometimes, shots are called out when the ball lands in the middle of the court near the opposite baseline. There is fairly ironic since there is no way for the user to control how far inside the baseline a shot should land. If I hit a hard return straight down the middle of the court, and it is called out, why am I penalized for it? 3. Bull Mcgee's ball speed parameters are off--sometimes, the ball is hit at a velocity beyond the ability of the IPAD's LCD to render appropriately in 1/60 sec.

TIME FOR MORE. LOVE this game, don't get me wrong, play it all the time. I'm world-ranked in Game Center. BUT it's time for the developers to stop collecting cash while simultaneously teaching the world the importance of performance-enhancing substances. "Energy drinks" never made me a better player, and "Bull" is a 'roid rage poster boy if ever there was one. I'd like to see more player packs--or even just more players--at this point, and I don't mean "Coach." Different people, different skills, different weaknesses, etc. But what's really needed is the next version of HIT TENNIS, taking the brilliant tennis physics that they developed to the next level, with more aspects of the game in the mix. Charge for it. Take a risk. Take that hairline baseline shot, hit a faster second serve. Take yourselves to the next level.

Very fun tennis app. If you have any familiarity with the game of tennis, and play a few games on this app, you will become addicted. Don't be misled by reviews that say you can't aim your serve. With practice, you can serve out wide, down the T, or into the invisible body of your opponent. Over time, you'll learn how to change the direction of your groundstrokes and volleys too. Get into an extended rally with your opponent and try to draw an error -- it will happen. This app is great fun!

Drunk Tennis. Ok I got this because it was free. I've played three full matches now and I can see what they were trying to do but this game is broken. The racquet swings opposite of how it should half the time. It is too random how the racquet aligns itself for each shot and if it isn't aligned properly then your return will be out. Also, I'm no tennis pro but during the course of the match that one inner side line isn't out. That's only on serves but you made the rule apply to each shot. Anyway this game makes me feel drunk so it needs some work. I give two stars because it is free. Oh and the first match that I won the screen says I lost. Pretty funny. It gave me an idea for a tennis minigame where you argue and then fight the referee or whatever that is called in tennis. .

Hmm.... If it responded I might have given it a three star, but no, it doesn't. You try to swing the racket, and it does not responded, thus making me lose. It looks like a lively app, like a fun game. But, I assure you, it is NOT! Seriously? What app does not respond? The first. And I think it was a wonderful idea for an app, but poorly put together. I am not waiting for said updates to fix this problem. After this review, it will be gone. I will not let junk take up my memory. How did this even make it to top charts, I will never know.

Good game but......... This game really is not free! When u get it they give you a few lousy players to play against and then it says you have to buy more players if u want more competition. Don't even get me started on how stupid the energy drinks are. So u buy them for 99 cents and they only give u six. These drinks are supposed to make u hit harder but really it doesn't make u all that better. And plus to make u buy more drinks they make u hit long rallies against your opponent and waste the stupid drinks. This game is a sham don't buy it!

Good game, but could be great. I love this game, and play it at least everyday. However, I can't help but point out a few flaws. First of all, you can't lob, but your opponents can. I understand that it might complicate a game, but I would be nice. In addition, I think a built in music changer would be nice on maybe the main screen. The biggest flaw, however, is that the multiplayer is horrible. It really needs a wifi or Bluetooth multiplayer. Once this happens, you can count on my five stars.

Excellent game!. Any tennis player will enjoy this game. It is challenging and fun. I also like how it focuses on timing of strokes rather forcing one to also control where the player moves. That is a brilliant idea. I wish I had not paid for the other tennis app I bought as it was clearly a port from an existing game and not well suited to the iPad.
