An important and necessary app for today. All too often people reference the Constitution but most have never read it beginning to end and very few really know what's actually written and fewer still truly comprehend it. We have so many public officials who have been sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution but have no concept what's written and how it applies even to us today. For ANY American, this app is a very important tool to help you understand what being an American is about.

Ads are bad. This is a great app but the ads are annoying. Get rid of the ads or just charge customers. I would pay but now I'm deleting this app and getting something else.

Would be perfect if it was searchable. This a great app for quick reference. It would be 5 stars it only you could search the text.

Great. The ads are small and this is free. Well organized. Every student should own this app.

Awesome!. I think the beauty of this app is its simplicity. It does not need a search function. The menu has a brief title for each amendment. Looking for voting rights for women? Scroll through the menu until you see "Women's Suffrage". All ten Amendments for the Bill of Rights are together under the title "Bill of Rights". It gives you a little history for each article as well as amendments that have passed congress but were never ratified by the states. Don't tell, but I have actually lost an argument because of this app! The amendment to prohibit citizens from holding titles of nobility was never ratified!

No Search Function?!?. This is a handy reference but it does not even have a search function. Hello-o? In fact, it has zero options. I will give it a better rating once minimal functionality is implemented. Right now, it is little more than a dump of the original text.

Great reference!. Nicely done app, great to have as a reference, easy to find what you need. Thanks for returning landscape mode.

Great app. Good honest, accurate app that is useful to have handy. Great tool to give lessons for kids and to educate with.

Time to bug fix for new iPadOS. Loved it, but crashed after latest iPadOS update.

It's just the Constitution. I thought I would be able to search for key words. You can't do that. It's basically just the same as having a paper Constitution.

Learn your rights. This is a great app. Everyone should know their rights and what the constitution says. This app breaks it down for you.

Great app BUT. I can't scroll to the bottom of the text. For example, I can't read section 3 & 4 of article 1, because the app won't let me scroll all the way down. Please fix!

Worst app. THIS APP SUCKZ

Great app for Patriots. I don't even know why there are 1 star ratings for this app. It's the constitution with all the articles and amendments for free. What more could you ask for. I recommend this app for everyone that lives in the United States. So when you see the news and they say something that was passed in government unconstitutional, you'll know what their talking about.

No Search Function. Lack of SEARCH makes it hard to find what you're looking for. Ads are distracting.

Simple, fast interface. Great app. It's simple and uncluttered which lets you get to what you want quickly. I'd very happily pay a couple bucks for a version without ads.

Needs to be Searchable. Very useful - if you know what you're looking for and where it is. This really needs a search option. I do like the sections on the signers though. If you want to improve this app, I would suggest making it possible to search for keywords and phrases. It would also be nice to get rid of those adds. Maybe an in-app purchase of $0.99? Together, these would make this app absolutely indispensable.

Worst thing ever. I hate it

The Constitution of the USA. Portable.. The Constitution of the United States of America. What more needs to be said? I am glad this is a free product, as everyone should be at least familiar with the Constitution, even if much of its wording is sometimes difficult to follow. Granted, it probably isn't a high priority app for most people to get, but there is quite a bit of information available here besides the text of the document.

God Bless America. This app works very well to help bring the knowledge of the US Constitution. I hate when I'm talking to people and they are all like" yea Article 2 really helps set up the Judicial Branch." I mean you wouldn't believe how many times this has happened. Literally dozens! I get up and am all like " no no no! Article 2 is about the Executive branch. If you want to talk about the Judicial Branch then say the correct Article. I mean dude, get your facts right. When I'm talking to one of these Constitution nubes, i always recommend that they download this app and go study the Constitution over a nice American Cheeseburger. Not those communist Russian foods. Great app that always helps when you want to talk about article 2 of the U.S. Constitution but all the people around you are to rude to know what it is. These situations do happen and you need to be prepared for them.

Only preamble?. This app only showed the preamble after download. It had a lot of fancy stuff related to the signers, but what I wanted was the text of the constitution. I think it would only release the text with a $1.99 in-app purchase? I'm not sure, because I did not upgrade. Without the text, it was useless to me, so I deleted the app.

Easy to read. Really great app, they separate the annotations and the actual constitution which is great. Also, very easy to look through and read.

Useful!. This is useful I use this for Webelos to help them with their Citizen badge. I enjoyed relearning it with this ap. Nice job! Thank you!

If I had to complain.... If I had to complain it would be the Ads and lack of search tool as others have mentioned. Note: I say this without having used the App yet b/c those were two features I immediately contemplated: No Ads (not a big deal) & specifically wanting to search for parts in need for making reference to. (Funny, thought to self while this page loaded, "this better not cost a dime!?!..IT'S OUR constitution...NO ONE should profit"-(literally)...from it's proliferation to educate Americans or any other person who wants to learn about the longest successful (debatable) governing document. I understand the reason for Ads though. Maybe make another that one can pay for without the Ads. Maybe non-profit would be the moral way. Otherwise, great App, well designed & graphically appropriate!

Ads. I'm reading the Constitution and an ad from McDonald's keeps scrolling across. Just make a pay version already.

Annoying streaming advertisements. This used to be a very useful reference tool for the U.S. Constitution. But the most recent version has added annoying and distracting steaming advertisements in a banner across the window. Best advice? Keep searching for a different app.

Disappointing. This product has never risen above mediocre. Now it isn't even that good. Displaying the document's text - the most important function for an app about a single document - simply fails to work much of the time.

Complete Constitution. Easy to use and very complete, even has preamble to the bill of rights (AKA the bill of limitations). Get this, read it, you will be amazed at the pure genius of the men who wrote it!

Very good app. Very good for studying Constitution, but the ads are annoying. Make a pay version plz.

I luv it. It's an amazing RPG that combines gameplay to story telling i think this game would be better with sniper rifles or advertisements. Trolololol -Hi mom

Unusable. On my iPad, if for instance you want to reference the 25th Amendment, it is ridiculously difficult. In the index list, all the entries are truncated so they can't be read. For instance, at the end of the list there are five entries in a row that look like "Amendment X...". So you have to guess which one is the 25th. But even when you choose one, you can't tell because the detail view does not have a heading. Stay away from this one.

Easy to use. Needs a search feature very badly though otherwise its use is greatly compromised.

The document is alive!. Not to pick nits, but the reviewer who wants to examine an 18th century manuscript to understand our Constitution may be confusing this document with the Declaration of Independence, an original source document whose value largely derives from its context on publication date. By contrast, the US Constitution is a document that anticipates amendment and remains valuable as a blueprint for government more than two centuries later, having been lawfully adjusted many times and published widely in every new media, including -- remarkably-- this one. An authentic "manuscript" of the current version (if we take that to mean an official signatory copy) would be the version printed in the Federal Register in 1992 announcing Alabama's endorsement of the 27th Amendment. This App works fine as indexed text. Our liberty to carry it into arguments, to trust its authenticity as the Framers' intent, and our confidence that it remains fresh and liberating makes this electronic form-factor even more valuable than some old parchment relic. Huzzahs to the publishers of this free and invaluable App! Thanks to you, it lives in thousands of pockets and now on my iPad where it continues to instruct and inspire.

Basic Text Version. The icon is a bit deceptive. The application is just collection of the text separated into chapters. I would appreciate an image of the original document that we could zoom into and move around. Perhaps a future version will include the ability to use the touch interface to move from section to section of the document.

Ads. Bad.. Just make a $.99 version and turn off ads. Not appropriate for a document of this caliber. Deleting.

Awesome. There is not much you can say about this app except that it is the US Constitution in the palm of your hands (at least iPhone/iPad). Have it on the iPhone and now iPad. When ever I get bored (hardly) I pull this app out and start reading.

Wonderful app. Simple and easy to use. The app is rather straightforward and provides you a full text of the Constitution. You can't ask for more.
