Well implemented. Sharp ebook. I recommend it to my students. Please include the other FAA books in your series. I will happily include them in my inventory! Text enlargement would be a bonus for my ipadmini.

Nice. I had some issues with an earlier version. But this one is solid. Nice to be able to do a quick search and find what you need.

Useful. Good app. Easy to reference material and easy to understand. I refer to it regularly while studying or reviewing.

IFR Handbook. Great app! Takes the standard FA IFR Flong publication and gives it a nice navigaton interface with great graphics. Great value!

Unintuitive software, urn motivating content. I am a long-time commercial pilot with instrument and multiengine ratings, with over 6,000 hours as pilot in command. I found this piece of software to be unintuitive in its use, useless in its content, and unmotivating in its presentation. You would be far better off with the FAA manual on instrument flying.

Good so far. Going to start the process of getting my private pilot license. So far this app is helpful. It's giving me the basics. Will update as I get further into the app.

Ifr. Good reference tool

Excellent Value. For the price this is a must have for any pilot. Going in to my IPC this is a great refresher.

Well worth the price for free information.. The information is free from the FAA. However this app is worth paying for especially if you're an instrument student. The author has made an app which organizes the contents very well. The tape feature is fantastic to keep handy key points.

Easy Access. Good and quick reference tool.

IFR Handbook. Very useful and informative material nicely grouped together. I'm glad I have this at my disposal.

Hard To Beleive. After starting my IFR flight training I knew I needed to get hot on my ground skills too. After several hours of research and reading countless reviews of the various IFR apps on the market, I decided on this one. After using it now for about three weeks, I find hard to believe how much information and functionality this apps contains. The only thing I'd like to see in an update or new build is the ability to print from the app.. CUDOS and keep up the great work guys!

Outstanding App!. As with all apps by Double Dog Studio's, you receive nothing but quality. This app is so easy to navigate, read and so much better than carrying around the clunky book. This is a must have app for all pilots and instructors alike, whether you need a refresher or you are getting ready for you instrument check ride. Also it is better than paying $15 for the actual handbook. Great investment.

Revised Versions Terrible. What they have done with these FAA books is truly a step backward. They no longer resemble the original FAA publication, and are more difficult to navigate and read. One of us who purchased the original version should receive a refund because this is not the same app.

Instrument Flying Handbook. I wasn't sure whether to buy the cheaper version of this book or just spend the extra dollar on this. I looked at both details about it and decided this was worth the extra dollar. It has worked out really well so far. I only have two complaints and they are minor of course. The first being that it would be nice if you could highlight and save certain paragraphs or sentences rather than having to "favorite" the whole page. Also, if you leave the app momentarily and use something else on the iPad, and want to go back and continue reading the same page it won't allow you to scroll down. The solution for this is that you simply have to click to the previous or next page and then go back to the page you wanted and it resets it in a way. Other than that the app is great. I'm sure that minor bug will be fixed momentarily. All in all, I would recommend this app.

Fantastic. This aviation handbook is awesome, all inclusive, better than my entire private and instrument books combined and very update. I was shocked when I saw how much I got for the money. Included are tons of beautiful color diagrams and information ranging from the basics to advanced IFR flight. Highly recommended!

IFR. Great review for ifr flight and training. This really did help me study when I did not have material available. Awesome app!

I like it. My only complaint is that you cannot highlight anything. But, you can favorite a page, so its not that big of a deal.

Kinda dissapointing. the app itself mostly just sites information without the detail. It tells you to refer to the AIM (aeronautical information publication) in regards to most technical aspects of IFR. I was looking for a quick reference study guide while I renewed my instrument rating, this does not have alternate approach minima, obstacle clearance fir MEA/MOCA or AMA in different regions. No minimum equipment list. There is also no mention of approach ban, contact approach, or visual approach. Not quite what I was looking for.
