AWEAOME!. Buy this app right now! I have been doing yoga for years. I have always had trouble with the part of my practice where I focus on my breathing. I would panic, fidget & eventually just give up. This applications has help me to remain in one place a reap the benefits of the relaxation poses. Also it is great to fall asleep to as well. It is so easy to use too. Simply select the time you want to practice. Then select beginner, intermediate or advanced. Pick the breathing pattern and press begin. Presto...you are centered & relaxed

Problem with sound. I like this app and would use it if not for the frequent static breaks, I found it impossible to relax and concentrate so I would not recommend it until it’s fixed.

App no longer works with latest IOS. Loved this app but now it won’t launch, I needs to be updated to work with the lates iOS release!!

Highly effective, good options. I suffer from chronic pain, and often need these kind of breathing exercises to fall asleep, or make it through the day. I like all the options for breath timing, and the logs. Feature request- grant these, earn that last star. 1. Add new breath cycle sounds. My gf finds the current schemes annoying, and I find her complaining annoying. 2. Allow setting if multiple, recurring alarms. Then, I'll be reminded to do my breath routine throughout my day. Even better would be a different color mark for each scheduled but missed session.

Great app, very useful and medically beneficial. Honestly, this is a great app. I was going through a rough time and was seeing a therapist and she taught me deep breathing as part of cognitive behavioral therapy, to help with my depression and anxiety. I've been using this app in conjunction with some gujded meditation apps (rest & relax is great, so is guided insight meditation) and i have seen noticeable improvements to my physical health and mind. Could probably use an option for variable breath lengths (faster to slower to fast again in a random cycle) but as is the app is worth price. Must have for anybody serious about meditation and focus techniques.

Longtime user. I’ve had this app for many years and find it very helpful. I wish it were integrated into Apple Health, though. No updates for four years doesn’t bode well for the future of this app.

The best app!. This is a perfect way to meditate and relax! You will feel the difference in yourself in your first session, even if your first session is only 10 minutes! You will feel so much calmer and centered. Your soul will feel fed, and every session you do will build within you bringing you more and more health, which your calmness carries you out into your everyday world. You will be able to face things with much more ease. Get this app!

Been using this for years, love it. It’s simple, elegant, and I’ve been using it happily for years to focus, improve my breathing, calm any anxiety, and generally improve my well being. I like the ability to customize your own breath patterns.

Constantly crashing.. I like this app quite a bit. I do regular breathwork and this makes for a wonderful tool... when it works. 3/4 of the time after the initial inhale the app crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting my device. No such luck. Until this problem is addressed I can not recommend this app to anyone. I hope this gets ironed out quickly because when it is working it’s a 5/5. Much LOVE, JSHII

App Crash. I love using this app and when it works, it's extremely effective. I, too, have found that using a customized breathing sequence causes the app to crash within the first 5-10 seconds of starting the exercise. If this bug were fixed, I'd give a 5-star rating, but because I can't use it the way I'd like to, it's become very frustrating. PLEASE FIX!!!

A+. I used this and was able to better understand proper breathing for JuJutsu and Zen meditation. The combination of visual and audible cues are perfect. Also, late one night I could not get to sleep and decided to play with this app. I was able to go to sleep easily. I have been trying to remember to use this if I can't sleep. Overall this app is the best one on my phone.

Almost Perfect. Only 2 things missing. 1. Log syncing between devices. I prefer to use the iPad to avoid problem 2. Call interruption on the iPhone; you have to start over and the time spent to that point isn't logged. However, the iPhone is better for spontaneous meditation so I can't rely solely on the iPad.

Works great again. This is my favorite of all the breathing apps I've tried. There were some programming issues for a few months but they really listen to customer feedback. I only use the Custom section, Vedic sound setting for simple 6:6 or 5:5 to meditate or walk around to. Sounds continue after minimizing the app or locking the screen. I'm guiding my breath to it as I write this review. I'm sure the other parts of this program are great as well so if you're looking to increase your breathing capacity this is also the perfect app for that as well. Absolutely wonderful sound engineering. Enjoy

Great app, should include cautions re breathing exercises. This app is beautifully conceived and executed. Note that when pranayama is taught by a teacher there may be some cautions re overdoing it. This app doesn't provide that. I suggest that you advance slowly and if you notice difficulty sleeping or agitation that you take some time off from the practice. For most people I wouldn't expect this to be a problem with moderate use of the app.

Unbelievable!. I re-downloaded the app. When I click the icon, I was kicked out of the app and gone back to my iphone home screen. The app couldn't be opened.

Excellent Calming Exercise App. I use this app every morning as I take the subway to work. It is so calming, so relaxing - even transcending - and really helps my day. When I do it at home, I am literally taken away. The proper way of breathing is beneficial on so many planes, and something I come back to if I start to feel any stress. I would recommend this to everyone.

Useless unless you don’t like building up to slower breaths. This app crashes every time you use a breathing pattern that has any seconds of breath retention. It doesn’t matter which level. You can only use in and out breaths which I never like to do because I prefer breath retention (holding my breath in after inhaling) it just feels right for me. I found out rather quickly after I bought it and want to request a refund! Useless for my intentions.

Simply the best for us hardcases. I love this program and owe much to it and its programmer(s). I was always intimidated by the thought of traditional meditation, but was intrigued by the different approach to quieting the mind. Not only that but it has done wonders for my blood pressure and has improved the quality of my relaxation. Try the free version and when you're hooked and at the top of your game in thet version (ie @ 1.9 breaths/min), then you'll gladly pay for the rest of the program. Marvelous!

Great but doesn't allow background music. There is a great ambient noise generator I just paid for in order for it to act as background "music" while I used this pranayama app. Unfortunately when i started this app the background noise faded out. For an app that costs $5 I think it should at least let us continue our own sound scape, esp for those of us who live around lots of distracting noise. Otherwise well worth the money! To your health!

Worth every penny - every time. Nothing better. I generally stick to custom settings but everything is so well done, I can't think of any improvements. Sometimes I come out more relaxed than others but at no time is it a bad idea. Even if I'm cut off at 5 minutes, I might hit it later for more. For sure it's difficult to continue doing this every day, but the fact is that every day i use this the rest of the day is .... Improved.

Crashes. I did everything the troubleshooting FAQs suggest but without fail, this app crashes and stalls continuously. Then went to email their support and that says that due to high volumes, support emails can no longer be answered. Don’t get this app, and probably not any of the others they offer if you can’t contact someone when the thing doesn’t work.

Pranayama. Great app, but needs to be updated. It doesn’t work anymore.

Goodbye anxiety!!. I have been suffering from severe anxiety attacks while driving since a couple of accidents last year. When I start getting tensed I use this app and focus on my breath for 5 to 10 mins. The rhythmic breathing not only averts an anxiety attack but leaves me feeling lighter n happier for the rest of the day! Thanks for creating this extremely effective app!

Needs Update.. Excellent app, but crashes with iOS 12....it’s now rendered unusable. An update is definitely needed.

Great app. I'm very thankful to have found this app. It has gelped me a lot with the symptoms of my anxiety and OCD. The many modes that vary from vedic sounds to just relax nature are very helpful to practice under different mood stages. Simple and elegant app that really helps with the practice of pranayama. It would be nice if the developers could add some modes that include binaural mode and frequencies known to help achieve concentration stages, but it's just a matter of taste, the app is great as it is. Thank you guys!

Frustrating. The app seems to work well with 2-3 sec. breathing intervals but when I began customize longer breathing intervals (7 sec in, 5 sec hold, 7 sec out 5 sec hold) the app crashed every time I attempted to complete customized breathing settings. I like the app but please fix🙏🏽.

Great app. Solid reliable app

Fantastic app! Better than a sleeping pill at night!. Me and my ten year old do this every night before bed and it totally zones us out and many times we just fall asleep! And my ability to exercise has shown remarkable improvement. It's the most I've ever spent on an app and worth every penny! (and I'm cheap...)

Great addition to my life. I love this app, use it multiple times a day to take mini breaks. It adds to my spiritual practice in meaningful ways. I am addicted to the peace I can access quickly by just breathing. I find the visuals and sounds helpful to access peace within. I would have liked more instruction on how specifically to structure a breathing meditation course for myself using the app. I tried different settings and overdid it by trying. My lungs felt strained for a day or so. Other than that I am grateful for the app and one of my kids is using it as well.

Best out there. I have been using this app for quite sometime but am hoping the developers add just one thing, Health app integration. There is no way to really track how often you do this so what I am doing is using the Calm app to track my sessions. Although the app itself does track how often you've done one kind of breathe technique (a vague lotus chart with different colors) I never know how often I do it or for how long each session. It would just be helpful information to track.

Amazing New App. Just got my update and I love the new graphics. The new custom routine feature is a big improvement over the old version as well. I do about 60 minutes of pranayama a day and it really helps me sleep better and feel well rested in the morning. If you want to live a healthier lifestyle, this app is a perfect way to start.

Pranayama. I have used this App for a long time! It is excellent!! I have very bad asthma, etc., and I actually use this in my breathing exercises! Personally, in my use of the App; I saw some improvement! It is worth all 5 stars!! Perfect app. I’m new to pranayama. After 10 minutes of breathing with this app I feel so relaxed. I practice pranayama before meditation. My meditations are much more pleasurable.

Excellent in every way. I love this app, use it every day and recommend it to my clients (I am a psychotherapist). Long time user. I have been using this app for many many years. Could it be 8 years? Something like that. I still use it. No other app has been used more. Or for as long. Unfortunately the custom section of it no longer works on iPhone 13. As is everything in life, what has a beginning, has an end. I’ll still use it. Until the end.

Sooo good!. I can't believe how much better this makes you feel after only a few sessions.... I had done breathing exercises before getting this app, and now I finally have an easy and user friendly guide to help me be consistent. The good thing... like everything with the iphone... is that I can do it anywhere. I definitely recommend this app.

Perfect relaxation app. Works perfect on iOS4! You can adjust the breathing to the parameters that fit you, and change it as you progress. The sound is a perfect distraction to clear your mind and forget all the bad stuff. Just find a quiet room, dim the lights, get into a comfortable position, and start the program. Try it, you'll like it! You'll feel totally relaxed after each session.

Clicking noise. Please please get rid of the clicking noise during all of the music cycles! It sounds like a needle on an old LP. I have an iPhone 8. Otherwise I love your app but it turns a relaxing experience into an irritating one.

Crashes. This app worked for me once and has crashed every other time I’ve tried to use it. I was really looking forward to using it and am sorely disappointed.

Crashing – no support. Well, I used to love this app until I tried to contact support because it began crashing. Their website states: “Thanks for your interest in getting a hold of Saagara. Due to the high volume of emails we receive, we are temporarily closing our contact form.” REALLY? Even though I PAID for this app? Not acceptable. It’s outright thievery. Apple needs to address this unethical “company”.

Amazing - My Favorite App!. I've been using this app for a few weeks now & have become completely addicted to it. I've had bouts of Insomnia and migraines for years and am frequently tense from stress. I think this has helped in every area. I consistently feel more grounded and calm after each session (similar to the feeling I would get after a cardio workout). This Pranayama app has been easier for me to stick with vs. meditation as I can feel the short term benefits after each session. As for the app itself, they did a fabulous job.

Good Start - Needs Improvements. I think this is a helpful tool for beginners. I don't see it being widely used until the creators allow for a variety of music or user choice of music with a breath prompting in the background. Also the main screen could be more interactive with a slideshow of images or mandalas. Plenty of breathing room in this app. I like the concept, but it needs to break out of the box and expand in a creative way.

Stopped working on my new phone :(. I absolutely love this app and have recommended it to many people. I use it in my meditation class and have had many people ask me where they can purchase it over the years. Ever since I upgraded to a newer phone, the app cuts out after a couple of seconds. Please, Sagara, fix/ update the software.

my favorite app. This app is beautifully done. Simple but beautiful interface. A few minutes a day to a calmer, more centered you.

Appeciate the ability to customize. Very good to let one set up own regimen of inhaling, holding, and exhaling. Would be perfect if you could measure in half seconds as well as seconds, but not a big deal. Another suggestion would be to include a few more choices for music or tone accompaniment. But, in the end, thaw program is a real aid to meditation by breath control. For one thing, I no longer need to count while meditating.

A better way to meditate?. For some, meditation can be hard just from the aspect of the discipline required to not only do this regularly let alone properly. This is like having a teacher with you wherever you are. It would be hard to find an app anywhere else that enables guided meditation like this one does.

Breathing, who knew. I am a life long mouth breather. A few weeks ago I had a septoplasty to allow me to breathe. I had battled to use this app before as it was not possible to breathe nasally. I now use this app all the time. If you find you can't benefit from the app get yr GP to check if you can breathe. That may be it. The volume is too loud.

Excellent. Tried a few mediation and breathing apps and I love this one because there is a gap between inhaling and exhaling which helps me keep my breathing rhythm going.

Crashes iPhone 5. Good but continues to crash after only a few minutes

First rate. Has significantly improved my quality of life. Stress reduced and has helped me overcome alcoholism. It has replaced booze as a way of winding down at the end of the work day. Some of the best few dollars I have ever spent.

App not responding. I bought the full version after using lute for 6 months. This full version is often frozen and I can't have it play unless I reboot my phone which is not only time consuming but not meeting my expectation. Developers, please fix it!

Mr. Easy to use and effective

App keeps crashing. Tried to contact you on your website but support email is temporarily suspended. I have set up a custom setting of 2:2:4:2 and when it gets to the first breath hold the app crashes. Tried closing it he app and restarting but it’s still happening. In fact, I just realised it’s not on my custom setting but the whole app is crashing with your presets. Cannot be used. PLEASE FIX URGENTLY.

Wow!!! This is brilliant!!. Definitely the most useful and used app I've ever purchased and worth every cent. I've tried a lot of pranayama/breathing apps and this one has the most options and variations. I love it. Very peaceful simple audio and simple visuals. It doesn't have the usual butterfly's, pretty waterfalls or sunset scenery, (but the visuals are still lovely) it relies on it's many breathing options and in being extremely useful. It's perfect. If you are looking for the best breathing app, you've just found it! GET THIS APP!!!!

Does not work any more. My Custom settings do not work any more! Exhale lasts the same as inhale no matter what I put in. What happened?

Great idea, wrong calculations. I wanted an app that would help me do my 8:32:16, but, once I set this ratio, the apps calculation is all wrong! It changes my numbers so that it fits one minute. And also it asks me how many minutes I want to practice, instead of how many rounds. Cannot use it to do proper pranayama. Waste of money.

Simple as it should be.. The only reason I'm not giving this app 5 stars is that the volume distorts at even a medium volume. If I'm going to sleep with the app on, I have to turn the phone volume down to half... This affects my alarm clock app the next day. The best app for breathing exercise. This really help me. This is thé first step before doing yoga. This is for beginner but you should try it. I bet you Will feel special after only 10 minutes.

Great. Easy to use, feels natural and brilliant for the beginner.

Would change one thing. I am very happy with this app, and I use it daily, but I have one criticism. There seems to be a pause between steps of the cycle. Sound for inhale. Stop. Sound for retain. Stop. Sound for exhale. Stop. I would really like to see the sound for all the steps blended together, for a more soothing and flowing audio experience.

Steady Slow Breath. Love It, and so will you!

Hate to rain on the parade. Extremely simple app, which is fine, but I feel like it could easily be a lot better if it had 1- adjustable volume for the sounds that indicate when to breath in a nd when to breath out (I like to listen to my own relaxing music while using this app) 2- a few more options for the sounds you can choose that indicate when to breath in and when to breath out. As it stands there are four choices. 3- there should really be some sound options that are unobtrusive. Right now it's these constant noises with no break in between. Why not a simple sound at the end of a breath and at the beginning of a breath? 4- ability to turn the sound off completely and put on a vibrate mode to regulate breathing. 5- "variety of themes" refers to the two themes you can choose from… There are some really cool and amazing apps out there… choose wisely. it seems like little work or much thought has been put into this one, kinda disappointed.

Useful. I really enjoy using this app. The predetermined intervals are a good start and the added customizable intervals allows endless combinations for other types of practice. Everytime I finish a session I feel very calm and relaxed, in a peaceful state of mind. It's great to have an accurate breath trainer such as this, it reinforces awareness of your breath and focus of your breath.

I get high. ...with a little help from my breath! This app is fantastic. Fully customizable and accommodates as you become more proficient with pranayama. I'd say $5 is a better price, but still worth it at $7. Enjoy!

pretty good app, one complaint. This is a pretty good app to facilitate pranayama practice, which can be very valuable. One complaint: When the set time period for the session is up, the exercise terminates mid-breath! C'mon folks -- it could run the current breath cycle through to completion and _then_ finish when the time is up. Perhaps the developers did this intentionally to help us also cultivate compassion.

Fabulous app, delighted me!. This is so exactly what I wanted. The excellent visual representation inspires me to easily follow each pattern with my own breathing. I have tried other apps for deep breathing and while some are adequate, this is by far the most elegant and efficiently designed. Well worth the price. Thanks to the developers. :-)

Great App. This is a great app helping one to stay focused with his/her pranayama practice. It has several different levels that suits different practitioners. It has helped me to stay with my practice! A suggestion to the app developers: Provide a custom level where the user selects his own ratios of inh/retain/exh/retain.

Excellent and essential. This breathing is taught as survival skill in therapy.. This is an expertly created application of an essential practice of breathing, which helps people with all sorts of anxiety issues. I have used this app mid anxiety attack. It is life saving. However the app is really great to use for general mental clarity and mindfulness. Must have.

Love it. I use this twice a day, I am very happy I got the upgrade, hope they add more different exercises, very good grafics to do along with, I feel a difference in my mood and physially don't past this app up

This app is teaching me how to breathe again. I've had severe anxiety for most of my life and have only recently sought help for it. One thing I discovered is how shallow my breathing is. This app is helping me learn to breathe normally again. It's worth every penny.

Awesome app. This a really cool app for breathing exercises. The first time I did one of the exercises, I felt so refreshed after 5 minutes. As a wind player, this is also a really valuable tool to increase my breathe capacity.

Happy. I've been using this for a few days straight so far, no health benefits except for I feel much happier when I finish. Guess it takes weeks to get the full effect

BUY HD. This app is wonderful and deserves more than three stars; however, I can't help feeling cheated. Why offer this app at all when there is an HD version for the same price? I, by mistake, downloaded this version and was very disappointed in the quality of the animation on my iPad. The HD version is much better and - once again - it is the same price as this one. I have downloaded the HD version and am pleased with it, but I'd like my ten dollars back.

perfect for relaxation. I use this to energize myself in the morning. I wake up feeling groggy but 15 minutes later after using this app I am refreshed and energized. The music is soothing is a great way to guide my breathing because I don't have to look at the screen. I love the way this app makes me feel.

This app is your friend. Nice range of settings. It's not badly designed, the best designed or over designed. But best of all it's not cheesy or annoying. I wish it had 1:1 ratio options. But overall this app has been one that I use quite often. And I have a lot of apps, to that is a good indication of utility, at least for me.

Good--more customization would make it better. Agree with many of the comments about this app. It would be nice--in addition to the pre-sets--to be able to customize even further.

A useful timer. I haven't tried all of the features but I've added this app to my morning stretching and I like it. It hasn't crashed once either.

Decent app. A decent breathing app, the best I have seen so far. I don't necessarily agree with how some of the breathing exercises are but understand the concept and what they are striving for. Definitely good for anyone who needs to destress and relax and control themselves

Helpful - Enjoy customization. I use this after my workouts while stretching. It's a great way to wind down and focus on making the breath steady and consistent. The customization allows you to find the right pace for the right time.

So disappointed and frustrated. I loved this app when suddenly I lost the ability modify my custom settings. I did everything to fix it and nothing would work. Then I bought another one and it did the same thing. Very disappointing. Finally I emailed Saagara three times and didn't hear back from them at all. This app has gone from great to awful and there's nothing I can do about it.

Saved my sanity & improved my breathing practice. Love this app! Whenever anxiety is up or just wanting to improve my breathing exercises I pop my headset on and practice 5mins or more. A few min a day helped all my symptoms decrease.

Every app should be like this. This app is intuitive and allows you to use breathing exercises to relieve stress or to deepen your meditation practice. It also provides a clear path to intensify your breathing exercises if you wish to do so.

Perfect Enhancement. I added this app to my daily Pranayama practice and found it to be a wonderful enhancement. My preference is to listen through earbuds to keep my practice centered rather than listening outside myself. Hearty recommendation.

Excellent and useful app. I use this app every day of my life. It's fun to navigate and easy to track and log progress. What sets this apart from other breathing apps is that it progressively takes you to a much more advanced level of technique. You will not be disappointed.

Great app, but.... Why did you make a separate app that is almost the same as this one, only you made whole new UI and added a few more songs and features??!? I feel like you should have at least updated this one so that your previous paying customers would be able to get these new features. I'm very confused and disappointed. I really do this is one of my favorite apps, but I feel somewhat cheated after paying 5 dollars.

Overall a good app but has a bug. I find that when I run the app connected to my iHome clock radio, it starts fine then it stops playing either the inhale music or the exhale. I have to stop and start the app again then it will finally run to the end of my scheduled time. Is this a bug? Please fix. R

Best pranayama app. Really great app for practicing pranayama. Super helpful so that I can focus on the breath, and not the counting. The sounds are really great, too. Definitely use headphones with the app. Devs, please continue to support app and add some more features. The last update was a long time ago.

Meditation in Breathing. Excellent! cheapskate me paid for upgrade and love it. But then I also support Public Radio. Either way, practice can be brief and still leave the mind alert and body refreshed.

Nadi Shodhana . . . Get into it. I use this app to practice all the time. I like knowing how much I've done over time and how I've progressed. It motivates me to keep improving!! I originally got this because my own counting didn't seem very even as a whole. This app allows me to focus more on the breath and my third eye center.

Disappointing. The one thing they sought out to fix in the latest update is now in fact even more broken (back button is no longer visible but still oddly enough, functional). The content from my past review still stands (below). This app is lucky no one else has the timer designed like they do otherwise I would have moved on years ago. I do not encourage anyone to purchase this application. Even more cumbersome menus Deleted log while updating Still only two ugly pixilated themes I don't like the post-meditation screen encouraging me to 'share or cancel'. Seems kind of against yogic concepts of not being haughty, why do I want to share to the world that I took 15 minutes to breathe and focus on myself?

DECREASED stress!. Very easy to use and understand. Take a little time out of your day to work on your breathing. It's been a great stress reliever as well as a relaxing exercise to clear my mind before sleep. I would (and have) recommend to my friends and family.

Great app. I have been using this app to help with depression, it's nice to have variable levels from beginner to advanced so you can start easy and progress through the app settings to longer breaths. Great appeal to the senses. The use of visualization as you work on learning this method of controlled breathing is excellent. Once you have a strong picture of that in your mind, being able to work with the rhythmic melody alone allows you to pace your inhalations and exhalations with eyes closed. Eventually...it evolves toward a very relaxing and mind clearing meditative technique. Awesome! Kent

Excellent breathing sequences. I enjoy this app almost everyday. It keeps me on track with the rhythm of my breathing, and the visual and audio are excellent guides for developing that smooth quality of breath. I definitely recommend this app to friends interested in developing a breathing routine.

Terrific!. I use it every day - while the car's warming up, when waiting in lines, before bed, etc. Having a quality mobile app us really convenient.

Must be connected to the internet. 4th time to RE-download this app. Works fine for 5-7 days then in the middle of meditating it locks up. Help page is no help except the part were it says to DELETE AND RE LOAD THE APP. After 9 months I reloaded the app, I figured it out. The app crashes after approx 6 minutes of breathing if your device isnt connected. Youll notice Ive lowered my rating now to one star. This is un-acceptable. ONE STAR

Excellent app!. app does a great job of helping me pace my breathing. Like a musician's metronome it does a great job of guiding me to pace my breaths. The important parts are bringing attention back to each breath, using it regularly & increasing the time. This app does all well and even makes it fun! It lets you focus on just breathing & being aware of breathing by doing a big chunk of the timing & cuing work. Well worth the cost for easy-to-use & fun access to better wellbeing!

Not so much. This was a waste of my money. Using iOS 3, it was slightly buggy, but now on iOS 4 it is completely unusable. The custom option hangs every time, and even the regular option pauses uncontrollably during the inhales and exhales. My doc told me to practice breathing exercises in order to calm down. But every time I try to use it I just get furious that I wasted my money, defeating the whole purpose of using it. I'm on a 3G phone (waiting for verizon), so it may just not be powerful enough to run the software.

Great app. I was looking for an app that could help me return to my meditations and i found it, this app helps you not only with the meditate state but with the synchronicity of youre breathing, since i got it my meditationg is on track again :)

disappointing. I rushed to buy this after reading a glowing review on a yoga blog. I guess I should have read the review more carefully (or read between the lines.) I feel I wasted my money. I was looking for something that would teach pranayama, possibly introducing several different breathing exercises and telling what effects they might have. No. This doesn't teach or inform at all. This is simply a tool to count/measure/time your breath. Basically a glorified metronome with sound effects a breathing log tossed in. Totally not worth it to me, sorry.

Excellent app. Pranayama has a lot of features that make it easy for beginners to learn without getting board. There's plenty of room to advance, so more experienced practitioners will find it useful as well.

Amazing. Fabulous App. It has facilitated my doing that which I have not been able to do for 10 years and that is to build a daily breathing practice.

Great program. The features on this app are great because you can choose the length and type of breathing meditation to do. I use it for 5 min at a time to calm my mind and body. Again great app.

Powerful and simple.... I recently read a phrase that emphasized the power of simply 'coming home to the breath.' The power of this app is found in its simplicity. A strong and effective combination of technology and the body. Very useful and well designed.

Mostly good app. Very useful for mindful breathing (I'm a novice at this). Some people who've looked at it dispute the nose inhale-mouth exhale technique depicted. Also, it would be nice to be able to see not just breaths per minute, but have an option of seconds per breath. The use of headphone vastly improves the sound and the experience.

Simple and functional! The best app out there. This app is fantastic! I've been meditating for years and haven't found a quality app. It's simple to use and allows you to customize it to your liking!!! My favorite feature is customizing the breathing patterns. My personal fav is 1:4:2. I highly recommend this app.

Excellent relaxation tool. This app is probably the best one I have used for the price that helps you to relax your body and mind. If you have always wanted to learn how to breath deep then you should try this app. They have a lite version but it more limited. Give it a try.

Great app. Breathing consciously is so important and one of my favorite forms of meditation. This app helps coach you through different breathing patterns and counts for a set time period. I like to use it in the morning and practice the pattern for a time after my time has finished. Very useful

Relax - This app is worth it!. I felt more relaxed and stress free the first time I used it. Im not in to yoga or holistic medicine but this app is an easy way to relax and only takes a few minutes. Have not played with all the settings yet but the begginner mode was simple and effective.

Just as everyone said, simple and effective. I wish there were a few other breath patterns included, but this is great, I use either first thing in the morning or right before I go to sleep, and notice a significant difference in the way I feel.

Works great. Great introduction to breathing for better health. I can already do a lot through breathing, but the program paces me, taking a lot of the work out of the process.
