So grateful for this app!. With this app I have so many shows right at my fingertips. QI alone keeps me laughing like a lunatic. When things get stressful or I just need a break from life in general, bills, the coronavirus and on and on and on, daily motion is there. It doesn’t freeze or have a hard time with the quality - it just works. Some of our cable networks need to ask daily motion how to make an app that people will love (cough, clear my throat - direct tv). Don’t change anything Daily Motion!

Love it but…. I honestly don’t have too many issues with the app, but my only thing would to add a subtitles button, for some reason their isn’t one unless I just can’t find it in the setting on the videos are something only time I can use subtitles or captions is when I log in from my laptop

New Ad Embedding Destroys Functionality. It’s impossible now to watch anything on this app or their regular site. Every forced ad break boots you over to the next video rather than returning you to the one you were watching. In trying to watch a 20 minute video, you’ll be subjected to an ad every 3 minutes and since you’re not returned to the video, in progress, you then have to quit and restart the video, watch another ad, immediately skip to just after where the last ad break fell, if you can, and watch another 3 minute segment before the entire atrocity repeats. This is terrible design. There’s no way to actually watch content on this site anymore unless all you want to see is the exact same ad, every 3 minutes. Ridiculous.

Most backassward streaming app available. Since when does the down/reduce V symbol in upper left mean expand rather than reduce? Literally millions of apps use the same symbol to reduce window, but Daily decides to reinvent basic navigation, so you can’t actually get to what you need. ‘Following’ feature used to let you see a list of who you were following, but now it just loads a video and offers no navigation to your full list. Upon opening app you are forced to endure a news feed automatically playing. Apparently, Daily management feels they know what you want to watch on the Home Screen and when you select Following. Seriously, this app gets worse with every update. I feel terrible for the developers, because obviously this app has no financing and is struggling. They clearly can’t afford user testing and Daily is just trying to hold itself together with the few people it still has working for them.

The old version was better. This recent upgrade has some flaws. No more Picture in Picture as now leaving the app doesn’t allow PnP to be used. When reentering the app the video is no longer available. The rewind and forward feature isn’t as reliable as if I want to jump to a scene in the video it’s not a function-able as before.

Still won’t work. Update: It’s been a while since I wrote this original review, which was the only thing that got the developers’ attention. After finally contacting me back, they assured me they were working on the problem. However, it’s been at least a week more, probably longer, and still the issue persists. I’ve heard nothing from the developer again now, and none of the devices in my house will work with the download feature now. That’s iPad minis and iPad Pro 10.5” all freeze on trying to use the download feature. It’s very frustrating, so I’m dropping another star. Edited original review: For longer than two weeks, I haven’t been able to use this app, because if I download something to watch and tap it to play, it just freezes everything and the app has to be shut down. The date, time, battery, and wifi symbols disappear from the top of the screen, and the app freezes and you can’t load the video, or click on anything else in the app. I’ve tried everything. Deleting the app, turning the iPad off and on again, hard powering off, messing with the settings, deleting all recently updated apps, and even updating my iPad; but nothing works. I contacted Support and never heard back. I’m using an iPad Pro 10.5” with iOS 15.4. Please fix this! I don’t want to not like this app.

A few issues. I used to love this app but now the videos restart anytime anything happens. If you skip or rewind the video starts over. If an ad plays then the video starts over. If you don’t finish the video in one sitting then you’re probably going to have to sit through the part that you’ve already seen because it won’t let you start from where you left off. I honestly don’t mind all of the ads but the constant restarts make me want to delete the app.

The slider to a part of the video doesn’t work after you use it once. When I watch a video after I adjust the speed of the video or move the slider once I can’t touch the slider or speed again this is an issue I’ve had for a while please please fix this issue so it doesn’t happen again so I can watch videos with no trouble please fix it

Battle with media player. Sound cuts on and off every few minutes both on website and the app. After playing advertisements it restarts the whole video and half the time you try going back to where you were it gets stuck endlessly going back and forth between the frame where you were and the frame you were trying to get to. Frustrating to the max. Gets two stars Because of the content, nothing else.

I love this app. ok so I love this app/website I like how when you find a video you like you can just download the video and you can watch the show or move offline I don’t like the adds but I can live with adds anyways if you download the video you can watch it on a plane or in a Long car ride

Great App Currently Unusable On Apple TV. I love Dailymotion, but I have noticed unlike the iOS app that appears to have no issues, when I pull the app up on my Apple TV 4K, all that appears is a blank white screen. After several uninstall/reinstall cycles and reboots of the device, it still does not go beyond the white screen. Please fix this issue on an otherwise solid app/service. Thanks for your time.

Please fix bugs. I love this app I find everything I like to watch but recently there’s been this bug where when you try to type what you would like to watch this bug shows up like “error occurred, please try again later” even when you try later it still happens so then I can’t get to what I want to watch and the bug makes everything so slow it’s so annoying I’d be very great full if you fix the bug I’d really like to start watching again 🫶

Finally found my show!. I was going crazy looking for a particular show, couldn’t even find it on Firestick. I finally found some episodes on Dailymotion! The only complaint I have is that it will not cast to my TV. Plays on my phone and tablet just fine but no casting. I tried everything with no success. I have internet on my smart tv so I played it by logging into Dailymotion website on my TV and that works decent. Hopefully this problem will be fixed at some point. Looks like from the reviews this has been an issue for a LONG time. I’m just happy I am able to watch this show at all. Thanks Dailymotion!!!

It’s OK. I mean it is OK.... One problem that is really annoying is that it is so slow, and sometimes it just freezes and closes the app. Another thing is that whenever there is an ad, once it is finished it just loads there for a long time, and ends up playing from the beginning. It is really annoying to have to find where I was after every ad. I do not recommend this. Every thing I have mentioned is what really bugs me about this app, other than that, I guess it’s ok...

Full screen issues. As others have said there are lots of issues with this app, including problems with ads and videos loading. But the real issue for me is that now when you want to watch something in full screen on iPhone it zooms in to fit the entire screen and cuts off the top and bottom of the video. I can’t figure out how to stop it from filling the screen. I watch mostly content with hard coded subtitles, which won’t show up at all in full screen mode, so this makes the app virtually useless for me.

Great way to experience DM. I do love Daily Motion in general because every time I really want to watch something I can’t find anywhere else, I almost always find it on DM. I used to be able to cast to Chromecast from the browser UI but recently found that wasn’t the case, and there were some weird ad/commercial glitches. I was glad to find there was an app and the app is many times better and easier to use AND the chromecast is back! I also love (on both, I think) the super easy scrubbing bar used to fast forward/rewind/find your place in a video. There are also loads less ads in general on the app. The only issue is my “Recently Watched” list consistently displays that I haven’t yet watched anything even though I’ve watched many episodes of my show since installing the app a few days ago. The search also leaves a little to be desired and it’s not always easy to find what I want. I wish I could sort videos of those I follow alphabetically instead of just how recently they uploaded. All said, I’m super pleased with the app and will never use the browser again. Well done!

WAY too many ads!. I understand that a company needs to run ads to survive. That makes total sense. And if it was just an ad or two at the beginning or end of a video, maybe in the middle, that would be fine. However, in the last month, I have been getting ads literally every two minutes, and it’s often more than one at a time. In a twenty minute video, that’s 15+ ads, each unskipable, and 30+ seconds long, and it’s often the same ad repeating. Why? That is beyond excessive, and it takes me completely out of my viewing experience! Again, I understand needing ads, but there must be a better way! Under normal circumstances, DailyMotion is a fantastic app, but this constant barrage of ads is ridiculous!

Daily Motion. The Daily Motion application is a fine conduit to many of the type of videos internet users would have a interest in whether it be films, music, viral videos, sports or any other type of entertainment. Navigation around the app is easy with the categories listen on the h9me page and one is looking for something specific a keyword search is available. One issue for me is that waiting after selecting a video for playback or more information can be a bit long. Daily Motion is still well worth a download as an alternative or even main source to other video applications.

Good for international programs, but the ads .... I have been using daily motion for years and in the past few months ads started popping up...every five minutes (I am not exaggerating). I get that people want to make money but the same ads, every five minutes is obnoxious. I have no idea if this is driven by dailymotion or by the person uploading the video, but now I only watch here for Great British Menu.

Laggy and hard to operate. It has a lot of shows for free like avatar the last air bender and legend of kora but it is pretty hard to operate like the blue bar at the bottom of video so you slide it to get to the part of the video you want. I really want that bar to be updated so you can easily move it because it opens the history of apps I have opened. And there should be a history of videos where you exit the app or video and it will save where you left off in the video

After ads. I love the app so much, but there is something wrong with it regarding the ads. Every time I watch a show there are ads that play in the middle of what I am watching and when they are done I get back to my show, but it replays from the beginning. It’s so annoying because I have to go back to where I left off and that’s so time-consuming. Please fix that to make it where if there are ads and whenever they are done the show will resume where it left off.

Love the app. I loved everything about Dailymotion. Especially that I can follow my fave channels. I can pull them up anytime I want!!! Love it!! But today a video got stuck on a black screen. I could not get it to close. I could not get back to main screen. I could not get out of it. I literally had to go out of the app and close any apps I had open befor I could get out of that video on a black screen.

Garbage application. This application was working. Then you go to your library and it freezes up the iPad the computers all of it is locked up tighter than a drum you have to restart everything just to get the freaking app to just open up and then all you can do is only watch what Dailymotion wants you to watch this is a Garbage app hopefully in the future somebody will make an app that will actually work and at which point maybe then I might support might support any advertisers right now I wouldn’t support an advertiser supporting dailymotion

Ads. Love this app! Watching BL’s on here is so fun if you can’t find anywhere else but try supporting the actors with official websites! Anyways whenever I’m watching something a ad usually pops up which I don’t mind it’s just that after the ad the video I’m watching starts all over which I hate! Because when I try to skip it back to where I was it takes for ever to load! I also hate that when I leave the app that it doesn’t save where I left off on a video! Maybe add a recently watched video list that actually works! Because my doesn’t but besides that love it!

It used to be a good app. It’s really really annoying now. I unfollow channels and then after 2-4 hours, those channels are back in my list of channels i have subscribed to. I have signed out, changed passwords after unfollowing channels but nope! They still keep coming back. Also it says I am following 50 channels but when i look at the list, it’s only 15 channels. It’s just really frustrating. I unfollow channels because sometimes they start airing junk content and I don’t like junk on my feed. I have tried everything i can to see how this will work but so far nothing works! Left this review up and the developer asked me to email them. I did. Sent them screenshots, details, names of photos and now it’s been more than a month and radio silence from their end. The issue is still there. I keep unfollowing channels and they keep coming back. I have tried deleting the app, clearing the cache, changing the password everything. Nope. The unfollowed channels are back again within minutes now. I don’t understand why is there not an option to block a channel? What’s the issue?

Can’t watch in a floating window any more. I think I liked the previous version better. This version won’t let me watch in a window while I do other things. That feature wasn’t perfect in the previous version, if you tried to go back to full screen, the video would disappear and you’d have to close and restart the app, but at least it was there, And since I rarely watch stuff without also doing other things in my tablet, not having that feature makes your app much less useful. I realize I should not complain because it’s free, but please add it back, even in the faulty version if you have to.

Great app but....... This is the best app ever! I always watch Beetlejuice episodes on it but there are some things that I think you should fix. When I try to skip ten seconds in the video it takes me forever to find where the skip button is, and when I find it I skip like 40 seconds back. Also can you please let my video keep its progress. In other words when I exit the app can you please let everything save. AND I DON’T CARE ABOUT FACEBOOK WATCH!!!! I always get that stupid ad every five seconds!!! That is pretty much it from me. . You are the best!!!!

Does not work. I do not know why this app does not stream to my tv. I have a 65” Sony smart tv that’s only a few years old. Movies stop working in the middle of a show or stops after an add that’s when I try to use it with my IPad. Also there are videos that say please use link below it then takes me to a sight thats says I can watch my show for free then asks for my card information. I’m glad it works for you but I find this app/site to be horrible in function .. Personally I do not recommend

Not working. It has stopped letting watch my download videos and o have internet and it says that you can watch your download videos offline can you please fix this. Please fix this so I can watch my download videos again

Frustrating. Update: your app makes me want to rip my hair out. Things seemed like they were working better until, they weren’t. Amazing how all the ads on this app play with zero issue but the actual video I want to watch I can’t get through because it constantly freezes! Same complaint as many others, after some ads the video restarts from the beginning. When you enter full screen it zooms into the video instead of fitting it to your screen. Also while in full screen mode the video will just go completely black and not allow any options to restart or get out of full screen mode and you must force close the app and start over. Took me 3 hours to watch one 40 minute video. This app is a hot mess I downloaded it because the DM website has been total crap lately but this isn’t much of an improvement.

Has some issues. I enjoy watching content on dailymotion app. However there are issues ive been having both on ios and ipad os. While my video gets interrupted by ads, it then decides to start the video allll over again! It's very frustrating to have to keep going back to where you left off over and over again. It would be nice to have the "skip ad" button a bit higher on ios mobile bc its directly behind the mute and zoom screen feature. Other than these few issues, dailymotion has been amazing!

Best App Ever. I have been wanting to watch Pokémon XyZ ever since it got removed off of Netflix I have searched for about a month but then gave up two years later I found this website and let me tell you I love this website because I can now watch every single Pokémon xy episode there ever is all because of this website

Underrated app for video surfing. Sometimes you want to watch videos but don’t know exactly what you want to watch. Dailymotion is great for that. While it used to be known more as a ugc platform, it’s now got videos from a wide variety of well known publishers. My favorites are cbs news, sports illustrated, rolling stone, and cheddar. Within the app i also follow a bunch of topics that i’m interested in, and i can browse the new videos from my channels & topics whenever i want. If you’re short on data like i am, you can also download videos to watch offline later. Final praise: the app UI is gorgeous and easy to use, the ads are unobtrusive and usually skippable, and it’s all free.

Ads and video buffering. I love how I can watch Pokémon on here! Sometimes I won’t have any ads, and other times I’ll have ads every 5 minutes. The time bar is very touchy and if I miss the full screen button it will take me to the end of the video. Then it’ll take me back and forth for a couple minutes before I can resume playing where I was. Recently I’ve been having the videos stopping and the pause button just blinking. Resulting in me having to close out the app and play the video again followed by another ad. The app is just getting too frustrating to use.

Still not working!. This used to be my go to app. No longer. A video will play and after a commercial the video disappears and the audio remains. Tried a dozen different ways to get it to work on my iPad Pro. Tried again today. One third of the way into the video a commercial comes on that is actually another video. Could not close the window, couldn’t bring up any actions like screen size, nothing. Deleted the app and came here to give my review. Yes, I followed the troubleshooting advice. Yes I deleted and reinstalled the app. What a shame!

Problems with revisions. I love this app for watching shows from other countries. Have been using this for over a year now. But the last two revisions have caused me to. It be able to always watch what I have downloaded. And if I am watching a show and have to go out of the app and come back later it has started freezing and I cannot get back into that show. I even shut down and it still has issues. I hope there are going to be more fixes soon. I never had this problem until the last few months.

Terrible app in every way that matters. Ads every 5 minutes, impossible to scrub to a point later in the video without several minutes of glitchy buffering (even with an excellent wifi connection), features are hard to find, only videos watched on a desktop are saved in watch history, when the app closes it doesn’t save the most recently watched place in the video. I could go on. This app is just glitchy and completely user-unfriendly. I’m surprised to see that it’s still being updated because you’d think they would be solving the major structural issues with the platform at some point, but nope.

Video player is almost unusable. Hope you wanted to watch that video from start to finish only. Don’t pause it, because it’ll restart the video. Don’t try to skip to the part you left off at, it’ll restart the video. Pray an ad doesn’t play.... and restart the video. I wouldn't say it’s the worse than the website. Which is bad. But it’s definitely not good. I do appreciate the fact that I can watch all the episodes of QI. Great place to see all the stuff you can’t watch anywhere else. But that doesn’t matter if I can’t, you know. WATCH IT, all the way through. But hey (insert Kermit the frog drinking tea) that’s none of my business.

Poorly designed application for a subpar video site.. Basically, if you can find your content anywhere else, skip this app. It’s painful. The app requires you to create an ID to use. This is a waste of time. On my experience, it kept playing the same video of Letitia James over and over again. I was stuck on this leftist garbage. I couldn’t, skip, delete, move on or nothing. The link to the video I wanted to watch was ignored. App lacks solid controls and connectivity. After about 6 times on the same video I couldn’t leave, I deleted the app and I’m moving on. The developer response is a joke. I mean it’s asking me to use the app which does not work to offer feedback. Use anything else instead. No video is worth this struggle. Take a walk and generate some Vitamin D. Your better off. I never got far enough to try the streaming feature. I only got to see the same video they were for forcing on the audience over and over again.

Casting issues. Simple things need to be fixed. First there needs to be a dark mode. There’s no excuse for it not being in every app now. Also there’s issues when casting. For some reason videos will pause on the device you are casting too IF you minimize the app. This happens when using my iPhone or iPad to cast. Minimize the app and the video stops. That needs fixing what’s the point of casting when I can’t leave the app???? Also... at least I can get a video playing casting to chrome cast but trying to cast via AirPlay all I get is a spinning wheel.

PLEASE read this. I like how there’s many to pick from but I don’t like how you have to find where they are I wish it would help like put them in order or after like watching one it takes you to the next one after you done with that one it would be way more easy so I would appreciate if you guys do aiming about that but overall it’s really good.

I love the app but hasn’t been working for me!. I love the app so much but it hasn’t been working for me lately it’s like very weird it won’t show me a full screen if I flip my phone to make it full it it goes to a smaller screen kinda like how it would be if you were to use it on an iPad so it’s acting very weird!

Apple TV app is really bad. I pretty much have no problem with the iPhone/iPad versions, but the Apple TV version is quite bad. First, the “For You” section just doesn’t load, stays blank, meaning that I cannot access the accounts I’m following or anything like that. Second, and worst, is that the “Search” section only shows ten results or items. Let me explain: as I said, the “For You” section does not work, so if I want to see a specific playlist I have to “manually” search for it, if I manage to find it, it only SHOWS AND PLAYS the first ten videos in said playlist, so if the playlist has more than ten videos, I can’t see them because they just don’t appear. Even if I go into the user’s profile, again, it only shows ten results in each section. This is really frustrating because I like to see the videos in my TV. Once I thought “since I can see all the videos on the iPad app, maybe I can play the desired video in the iPad and watch it on the TV via AirPlay, but even that doesn’t work properly!! When I try to play a video on my TV using AirPlay, only the audio plays! I like DailyMotion and what it has to offer, but the Apple TV function is very frustrating.

If you like ads every three minutes,. ….you will LOVE this app!! And if you like to watch the same ad over and over and over, even better! Also, there’s the added frustration of the periodic appearance of a “Skip Ad” button, but don’t press it!! If you do, the ad will start over and play again. And again. And again. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!! After watching all these ads, and the video that you were watching *finally* comes back, it, too, will start over playing from its beginning. So unless you like to fast forward over and over and over and over to get back to where you were in the video before ads started playing over and over and over, which happens less than five minutes after the video starts playing, you might not like this app. Truly, I get that *someone* has to pay the bills. And I don’t generally object to watching ads in order to not pay directly for an online experience. But this app is unbelievable. Between the endless, repetitive ads, and having to fast forward back to where I was in the video after it restarted every five minutes, it took nearly two hours to watch a 55-minute documentary. Ridiculous. Find somewhere else to watch your videos. This ain’t it.

Edit watch later/ playlist. Pretty solid app but can we get the option to edit/reorder our watch later playlist? The order in which we watch things are backwards and it’s quite annoying having to manually scroll through the playlist to watch videos since they don’t play in the order in which we assigned it.

Downloads not working and the freaking ads are a program in itself. A useful app but very limited. Now the downloaded videos have stopped playing. Every time I try to play one the app freezes and nothing works. I have to close the app to use it again. This needs to be fixed ASAP Tried a watch a video today but each time a different ad kept showing up other than the regular ads. These ads are not a min or two long. These are like programs inside a program and there is no way to skip the ad. Absolutely ridiculous

It’s cool. Needs to work on the pause when going in and out of the app. When I have to answer the phone or check another app and accidentally close dailymotion, when I go back, whatever I’m watching will do this weird thing of pausing and going back and forth with the beginning of the video and where I left off. It’ll do this for awhile before starting back where I left off.

Great app. I really love this app to watch all my favorite episodes of shows that barely airs anymore but i think the app needs a few updates, for starters i think if you watch a video and then close the app the video should be able to save your progress in the video, and maybe make it where are home page shows stuff we will be interested for the people who use this app to watch cartoons it would really help for that to be a feature, then maybe we will be able to delete a video from are playlist without having to delete the whole playlist and be able to reorganize it if you put something out of order. I hope you think about these features in the future updates

Best Free way to watch videos. I am enjoying this app to watch a lot of videos that can’t be seen in YT. Only issue I am coming across is the frequency of ads on some videos. The button to click skip add is very close to the icon to change screen setting that when clicking the skip ad it sometimes revert to the original screen. Also, when skipping ad sometimes, the video will restart from the very beginning. It is a free app that contains videos I won’t find in YT so it’s a minor hassle to even fuzz about. Just making a review for those interested in the app

Absolutely 3rd class app. Use less app. Too many ads You can not skip add until it played 2 times After add video star from beginning. You have to go back and forward so many times to watch 39 minutes video, deleted from phone, so frustrating

Downloading. Since the upgrade this function isn’t working. The icon changes to Downloaded but file not in Offline videos so don’t know if it has really downloaded. Annoying when you want to watch videos where there is no internet connection. Please fix!

Horrible new update. I was using this app and seemed to be great before the update. However, after the app updated, I am now unable to go into playlists, I deleted the app and download again many times but nothing seems to work. Please help, thanks.

Frustrating 😡. I used Dailymotion on my iPad and Apple TV. The app after the last update does not save/download any content to my ipad any more. The Apple TV version is frustrating, awkward to navigate and lacks many features found on the iPad/iPhone.

Something wrong. There’s no sound on any of the videos I’m watching. I mean I’m sure there is it’s just the sound is not working on the app nor the website. I’ve checked and it’s not my device, it’s the actual videos themselves. Please help

The ads???. The frequency of ads shown and length of the ads is actually ridiculous. I get having an ad at the start of the video but every 5 minutes afterwards is too much. It’s a mobile app not a tv station. Am writing this review after I’ve just deleted the app. Figure it out

Horrifically bad. Easily one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Incredibly buggy - almost every time it goes to ads, which is far too often, it goes back to the start of the video instead of continuing from where it stopped. Will play the same unskippable ads over and over and over in a row with a non-functioning “Skip Ad” button in the corner. Annoying in several other ways too. Just stick to the website.

Stopped casting. So many changes all the time it get confusing. I just get used to the format then it changes again. Won’t cast to the tv again - so frustrating. Please do better.

Great to remember. Wonderful memories here…..easy to use. Just have a good explore and you will amazed how one topic leads to another.

Not very stable.. Struggles to load videos just like the website. Also playlist navigation is pretty much zero, if there is a playlist with 100 options then you have to scroll the entire way to the bottom every time you want to watch the next video. Would love to rate higher but just can’t justify the frustrating user experience.

Amazing!. I love this app so much! I can stream tv shows, and it’s FREE! I’ve been using it to watch episodes of “the office”, and for free, whilst people are paying to watch it! This app is so awesome, I really recommend it 🤩

App has some good features but could improve. App on iPad does not sustain a memory or viewing history which is frustrating at times. Has a good search engine.

Won’t cast to Chromecast TV. This app was working fine with my chromecast TV from IPhone with dailymotion App. Now I am unable to cast to the TV, there is no cast icon in the top left of the app when you have selected the video to view. Worked perfectly for me for over two months and now after watching something today, the second video I went to watch played an Ad and then was unable to play to the video or connect. Resulting in the cast icon also disappearing. Why is this happening after working perfectly for two months.. Please fix the app back to what it was.

Horribly slow and Ad CENTRAL!. Every single video I attempted to watch would take longer to render than the video itself. But on top of this an ad would show up every 5 minutes slow it down that much more. And once the advertisement ended the video would crash and go back to the start of the video. Then I had to try (with many failed attempts) to scan to the last section I viewed which would take even longer to buffer. Ultimately I spent a whole hour trying to enjoy a 20 minute video. I guess they don’t call it daily motion for nothing because it definitely was the most tiring and unrelenting action of my day.

Hopeless interface. Apart from showing ads far too often, it is impossible to use with airplay, and after each advertisement (every few minutes), the interface sends you back to the start of the file. To make matters worse, it is near impossible to scroll to where you were before the last advert, and 5 out of 6 times it won’t actually return to where you scroll to, stubbornly insisting on starting from the beginning again. As a consequence, allow at least 60-70 minutes to watch a 30-40 minute movie, with endless frustration along the way. Fairly hopeless software in all: I’d rather use any other software if I could, and lack of AirPlay support in 2021 is simply pathetic. Combine this with the insane level of ads, and you have to ask, Why bother?

Doesn’t work half the time. Half of the time the videos will just say click the link in the description but then the links don’t even work. If you want this app don’t bother wasting your time it is terrible and doesn’t even work and the website is even worse it is not worth it at all. One of the hands down worst tv viewing apps ever. 🌕🌑🌑🌑🌑

Awful. I’m happy to watch the ads (there are a lot of them) but at the end of the ad it either freezes or goes back to the beginning…. So frustrating. Fortunately not as bad if you watch on the website via safari

Too much Ads. Daily motion is a good app with a lot of good features and it’s beautiful. However, it has too much ads like the ads are nonstop and every two minutes the ads pops up and it annoying that it keeps repeating the same ad for 30 seconds. Can you guys fix this please?!

Rude. Was directed to download the app from the daily motion website so I did thinking it would provide better quality, potentially less ads and a better player... man was I wrong. Quality is worse and ads are longer and un-skippable.

Missing A Couple Features.. Dailymotion mostly does what i need, uploading private videos, but it could use a couple things. Playlists need a shuffle option so we can watch I in a different order and there should be and increase on the amount of private videos allowed to be uploaded per day. As they are private videos, they wont be flooding the algorithm and it would make it much more convenient for people looking to store videos elsewhere

TV series - how to move to next episode?. Watched the first episode which was all good until I wanted to watch episode 2. I can’t seem to exit episode 1 to move on to the next episode. What am I missing?

Keeping up to date. I am in Australia and like to keep up with UK Soaps and Dramas as they happen and Daily Motion is a great app for me to use. Would be even better if it were free on tv

Annoying.. Slow to load when opening. Constantly dropping out from being cast to smart TV. Can’t even get through a full episode of a tv series without it disconnecting and reloading video back to the beginning. No trouble like this with other apps being used to cast.

Fix the media control for skipping ahead. When in fullscreen on iPads without a home button you keep inadvertently opening the task switcher when trying to skip ahead in a video; it doesn't work. The blue part beneath the video which you use to skip ahead and go back is so small that you can barely get your finger on it. That needs fixing as well.

Dailymotion rate. I like it I mean it pretty awesome when you use it to download to your offline videos

Chromecast. Since the most recent update. Daily Motion no longer connect to chromecast. The option to connect is no longer there. Please release a new update reinstating it. How long will it take to reinstate the chromecast link?? You did an update last week but it still hasn’t been fixed.

playlists. hey i love the app and use it probably everyday but since your new update i haven’t been able to go on a channels playlist and scroll far down to get the video i want. when i press on the playlist it plays the first video in the playlist and when i scroll down to try and find the video i want it only goes down to the 10th video in the playlist. if you could please tell me how to fix it or if my apps acting weird that would be great. thank you :)

Legit the worst app. So number 1 when watching it mutes all notifications. Number 2 when you drag down to see if you have notifications it automatically swipes back up straight away Number 3 when you fast forward too quickly it just get stuck in a competitive loop going back and forth between scenes need serious bug fixes

Can’t delete videos in Playlist. What’s going on with Playlists? I can’t delete any videos out of Playlists. It used to be fine but I haven’t used the app for four months, now there doesn’t seem to be an option to remove videos.

Love the new update. The new UI is 100x better. It’s similar to that of YouTube’s (sorry for the comparison) and even easier to use. Plus, it looks a lot sleeker than it did. If the person(s) who designed it reads this, know you did a good job and made it a lot less clunky. It’s still a little rusty in places, but it’s a lot better than it was a few months back.

Unable to connect. Hi I have just started using this app for the first time and unimpressed as since the last week when I figured out how to sign into daily motion app on my smart tv, the app on both my phone and my tv do not work. I have to watch everything through safari on my phone. Disappointing because one I figured out how to use the app I was super excited to finally find something with some great content to watch. Unhappy.

.... So i remember reviewing on this before and now it’s happening AGAIN. Every time an add plays and then ends the whole episode starts again. Then when i skip it to the place i was at before it plays another add. I even tried skipping it to a different place and it still plays an add. Pls fix it

Awesome app. Often has good quality video uploads of videos not available anywhere else. I love this app :D

WAY TO MANY AD’S. I completely understand/respect the need to generate revenue, however the enjoyment of using this App is sucked away by lengthy advertising. This App is very decent, with many features of a ‘gigantic competitor’ and of course it thankfully allows adults to watch adult content without being treated like a naughty child. This App functions very well and has sufficient content, but it soon becomes a drag as many adverts detract from the viewing enjoyment.

Great if you can find what you’re looking for.. Comes in handy if you miss an episode here and there or are travelling. I just wish the search feature was better, or that titles were better organised which surely the app developers could solve.

Can no longer cast. As soon as I try to cast to tv the whole app just freezes. Have deleted and reinstalled app a few times but issue not resolved.

Sound don’t work. Somthing is wrong with the sound like only an ad sound works I tried seeing if it was my phone it’s not my phone wasn’t on silent. I unmute it and it still doesn’t work.... help please????

Need fixing. Hi i’am using this app for the last 2 months it’s a good app but too many ads every single minute of watching there is a 5 to 10 sec advertising which is very annoying i was using daily motion thuru safari but it was keep asking to download the app and the option to close the cookie doesn’t work at all eventually by force i have to download the app which i did but too annoying when you want to watch something but i have to watch the ads for 40 times in 40 mins video do i don’t mind if there is ads but not after every minute of watching please fix this.

i hate it. every time i try to watch a video after 5 min there is a 2 min ad break and then after another 5 mins the same thing happens. after the second 2 min ad break the video goes back to the start and the whole process starts again. terrible. if you’re looking for a streaming website DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! Too many ads!!!. i have been using this app for years and it has gone downhill. there are far too many ads and they are all repetitive!! it takes me max 1 hour to watch a 20 minute video. you need to remove the ads completely or you are going to lose me and i’m not recommending your app to anyone

Was great! Now useless.. Hey guys. Dailymotion app was great for streaming to my Chromecast. No fuss simplicity. Since one of the more recent updates, that functionality has now been killed - replacing any video you might want to watch with the visual feast of the Dailymotion logo on a white background. Hard pass.

Ads driving me crazy!. The app content is great it’s the ads that drive me insane. Repeated ads up to 2-4 time straight after each other does my head in. That actually does the complete opposite of what it is meant to be doing as I turn the volume off and do other things so I don’t have to listen or watch them and I’d personally would never buy anything that saturates advertising like this - it should be illegal

App Barely Functional. I tried to watch a video, and there are ads every five minutes. There were always 2 ads, completely identical, in 20 minutes I watched the same ad 8 times. Every time the ads finished it started playing the video from the very start again, and scrubbing through or skipping ahead barely worked at all. Literally unusable app, I gave up halfway through a single video.

Chromecast freeze (iPhone XS). Every time I try to play a video from my iPhone via chromecast the app freezes. It’s been happening for months now.

WHAT HAPPENED ???. Since the last update I haven’t been able to play any videos downloaded on my iPad…my video library screen just seems frozen !!! Hopefully this will be fixed ASAP !!!

Forward/Backward. Since last update on 2023/05/30 I cannot rewind or skip part like before. Before the update on dowloaded videos I could scroll my fingers across the screen to skip or rewind some seconds of videos, or touch to rewind of advance 10 seconds on videos I don't download (Go figure why). Now I have to scroll the tiny timed bar down the video to do this. Like I used that often to hear what I missed it's not more strugglig for me. For me it's a downgrade, I don't like that.

App continuously freezes and so many ads it’s unwatchable. I’ve restarted the videos after ads play 10 times in a row before I finally gave up altogether. You can’t watch for more than a few minutes before the ads kick off and then it freezes again after the ads play. Very frustrating. I will be finding another media player.

Better then you tube by far. Are use Dailymotion probably about twice as much as I use YouTube to watch different episodes of stuff and videos about anything from cooking to entertainment even series you just have to know how to find them. It’s a great app for downloading the only complaint I have is you have to have the app open when you go off-line already at your downloads or else you won’t be able to access them without getting Wi-Fi again decides that it’s a wonderful Application

Now totally unusable. Didn't think they could make this App any worse, but they managed it with the latest release! Home screen now says "woops, something went wrong" and casting to google chromecast is still busted. Nice update Dailymotion! wish i could give you 0 Stars...

Chromecast issue. The app will freeze as soon as you try play any video via chromecast. It’s been like this for a month now, please fix it.

SUCKS. Every time there’s an ad, the video freezes or sometimes starts over - you can’t even properly skip the ads most of the times. Also very LAGGY! Don’t expect to watch an entire video without freezing

Captions gone. The latest update seems to have completely removed the captions option? I rely on captions for certain things so looks like I'm out of luck!

Becoming useless. I signed my life away settin up useless account to finally get it, but found nothing. I click on a show, something else comes on, like a 45 minute commercial. Ok, let’s try again, but same thing, or redirects me to some pay streaming service. Pointless click baiter. I did use the app 4 years ago, but eventually deleted it. Now I see why, and it’s worse.

New dailymotion. I cannot access any of the programs I watch every day. I don't understand the configuration at all. Not a good change, very disappointed. Every new update mixes everything up. When I access the site and choose the video I want, all I get is a blank screen and can’t even get out.

Bugs with the app however…. I’m hoping the next updates fixes the issues I will change the rating if it does, but I was trying to watch videos and they were glitching out , but on the website the same videos work , what I mean about it glitching is that the video flashes and looks like it’s trying to play but doesn’t, but when I go to the website and find the video and press open in the app then the video starts to work in the app , also when I go to someone’s uploads and they have playlists and select one , it plays uploads last to first and doesn’t allow me to select from the playlist I have to go below the video to find videos but not in order, that means it’s unorganized and it won’t play in order but it will play videos in playlist selected at random not giving me the option to select from where I want as far as I can tell except for being able to pick them manually , means I can’t let the videos just play and go into the next episode or it will skip to a random one. So that’s a little annoying but other then that dailymotion is a great alternative to YouTube I can find stuff I can’t find on YouTube, so I appreciate that . Good work guys

Terrible playback. Not impressed at all with Dailymotion’s playback… every time I play a video an ad comes on (don’t mind having ads, that’s not what I’m writing this review about) and the video will start back at the beginning… then while trying to find where I left off it glitches out all over the place, the video will jump back and forth from the beginning to where I want to be. So disappointed with this app as I do like to watch my British shows through it.

Hit and miss. Sometimes the app works and other times it doesn’t. Very frustrating.

Freezes when trying to cast to Google Chromecast. Awesome app and was working great. Stopped working recently by Freezing anytime I try to cast the video to a TV connected with Google Chromecast. Was working splendid in the past. Tried the normal reboots to f the App, The Chromecast and of course the TV.

Please Fix the fast forward/rewind. I like the app, I like that I can cast from it. But it is impossible to fast forward or rewind videos. It’s so frustrating. When I try to fast forward the video glitches out and keeps jumping back and forth from where it was to where I’m trying to fast forward to then goes back to where it was originally and plays. I have to try about 5 times to fast forward a video. It is so frustrating that I prefer to try to find the video I’m watching elsewhere like on YouTube.

Worst UX app out there. This is one of the worst app out there as a streaming app. For many years, there is no proper connection between TV app and mobile app etc. The remote is absolutely useless in apple tv app. You can’t see your playlist nor control the video properly. If it’s this bad, seriously guys why even bother putting it out online. Make it work and provide basic functionality before release to public. If you wanna see a good example of how it’s done see Netflix, Youtube sync from mobile to Apple TV etc.. frustrating and disappointing experience overall

Disappointed. I used to love this app, it was my go to for watching shorts. Now I dislike it and really wish I hadn’t updated this app. The ads are lagging it is taking 4 minutes to play what’s supposed to be a 30 second ad. The little description/title box blocks the subtitles so it’s pointless to try to watch anything in a different language. It’s also not letting me watch videos outside of the app like it used to either..please fix it it was better before the latest update

Need help playing videos. I love the app but recently it started playing the videos like they were on the discover section and won’t let me play the movie/ drama a normal way on my screen like how it used to be and I have to go online and watch it on the website. Please have more options on how to watch the movie or change it back to how it was :,) thank you

I need the old update back!. I love this app! But now I’m annoyed because how they took away the option where we can still have the video playing when you’re on another app, or when we’re able to rewind and fast forward. Also, I had to restart my video while sliding my finger to get to where I left off, is hard! When I accidentally swiped, it took me to another page. When I went back, it started my video all over again. Please give us the access back!

Episode. The biggest problem I have is sequence of the episodes. I have to scroll through a long list hoping to find the next episode, and when I do it isn’t available that makes no sense. Why bother listing the first episode if you won’t be showing the rest.

Super laggy. I love the app so much, but it needs a lot of work. The website is way better. I have full bars 5g on my phone while watching a movie, but it randomly decides to stop and lag and doesn’t fix itself until I close out of the movie and reopen it. The worst part about that is that every time you reopen a movie, even if you bookmarked it, it starts from the beginning. The ads are fine since they keep it free, but please fix both of the issues stated above. Otherwise a great app!

Downloads not working and the freaking ads are a program in itself. A useful app but very limited. Now the downloaded videos have stopped playing. Every time I try to play one the app freezes and nothing works. I have to close the app to use it again. This needs to be fixed ASAP Tried a watch a video today but each time a different ad kept showing up other than the regular ads. These ads are not a min or two long. These are like programs inside a program and there is no way to skip the ad. Absolutely ridiculous

Love the app. I loved everything about Dailymotion. Especially that I can follow my fave channels. I can pull them up anytime I want!!! Love it!! But today a video got stuck on a black screen. I could not get it to close. I could not get back to main screen. I could not get out of it. I literally had to go out of the app and close any apps I had open befor I could get out of that video on a black screen.

Search doesn’t work anymore. Recently, since last update when I search for anything, and I mean anything, that I know used to be listed in there and found in search engine but for some reason now nothing comes up. It gives the “Well, you’ve got us there” embarrassed emoji message no matter what I search for, whether it’s a specific title, theme, or listing that would be easily found before this last update. I can’t even look up “funny videos” or “Chinese dramas” not to mention being unable to search for specific titles. Always get the same error message now. Not sure what’s going on but I am super disappointed.

Meh. I like that I can watch my shows. The only problem I have is the adds sometimes freeze and won’t go back to the show so I have to close the app the go back into my show. When I do that it restarts my show all over instead of picking up where I left off before the add. I don’t want to keep rewatching my show from the beginning. If this keeps up I will delete this app and go to another one I have to pay for so I don’t have to deal with these adds.

Has some issues. I enjoy watching content on dailymotion app. However there are issues ive been having both on ios and ipad os. While my video gets interrupted by ads, it then decides to start the video allll over again! It's very frustrating to have to keep going back to where you left off over and over again. It would be nice to have the "skip ad" button a bit higher on ios mobile bc its directly behind the mute and zoom screen feature. Other than these few issues, dailymotion has been amazing!

After ads. I love the app so much, but there is something wrong with it regarding the ads. Every time I watch a show there are ads that play in the middle of what I am watching and when they are done I get back to my show, but it replays from the beginning. It’s so annoying because I have to go back to where I left off and that’s so time-consuming. Please fix that to make it where if there are ads and whenever they are done the show will resume where it left off.

Like the app but could be better!. Like the app. Not sure why they removed the Picture in Picture functionality on iOS. I’ve checked all my settings and the settings in the app but Picture in Picture still doesn’t work so I can’t watch while using another app like I used to be able to and it’s very frustrating. The icon for Picture in Picture doesn’t even show up when I’m watching a video.

Great App, But… Need to fix Commercial Frequency & Freezing. Love this app except that it often freezes on certain commercials (then need to restart the movie), and lately there’s a frequent commercial breaks every 10-30 seconds! Not exaggerating! It can take hours to view one movie! Please fix it because this is a wonderful app, so I still gave it 5 stars (for now).

Full screen issues. As others have said there are lots of issues with this app, including problems with ads and videos loading. But the real issue for me is that now when you want to watch something in full screen on iPhone it zooms in to fit the entire screen and cuts off the top and bottom of the video. I can’t figure out how to stop it from filling the screen. I watch mostly content with hard coded subtitles, which won’t show up at all in full screen mode, so this makes the app virtually useless for me.

Chrisdabombvrs opinion. This is a really good app I love it personally I would have this I post every once and a while and over all there is some thing I don’t understand like it said that the videos could be about 1-2 hours but when I did a video it had to trim it down to 10 minutes and it was 10 minutes and 6 seconds but over all really good app 8.5-10

False advertising. They claim to offer the drama shorts without you having to have all those subscriptions but every time you go to look up a drama the actual video is not what was advertised. Also, some of these videos are uploaded upside down and you have to flip your phone to watch it. It’s hard to rewind or fast forward. Also, they will show ads that are 30 seconds long and then give you the option to skip that ad in 30 seconds and then when you press the button, it just goes into another ad. This app just seems like a ploy to get ad revenue.

Please fix bugs. I love this app I find everything I like to watch but recently there’s been this bug where when you try to type what you would like to watch this bug shows up like “error occurred, please try again later” even when you try later it still happens so then I can’t get to what I want to watch and the bug makes everything so slow it’s so annoying I’d be very great full if you fix the bug I’d really like to start watching again 🫶

It’s ups and downs. I really do enjoy this app. You can watch many videos that you can’t find other places but I have given it 2 stars not because of the ads but because whether I use the app or internet to watch my videos it refreshes its self not once, not twice, but about 5 or more times where I have to find where I left off and then watch triple of the ads. Please fix the bugs!!! I would use it more and not have it as my last choice to find a video if the bugs were fixed( once the bugs are fixed then it would be my first choice).

Terrible app in every way that matters. Ads every 5 minutes, impossible to scrub to a point later in the video without several minutes of glitchy buffering (even with an excellent wifi connection), features are hard to find, only videos watched on a desktop are saved in watch history, when the app closes it doesn’t save the most recently watched place in the video. I could go on. This app is just glitchy and completely user-unfriendly. I’m surprised to see that it’s still being updated because you’d think they would be solving the major structural issues with the platform at some point, but nope.

Good content but horrendous app. This app makes it impossible to fast forward with out kicking you out the video you are watching. The stupid way that the app forces you to watch a long form video on the same format you would watch reel on Instagram is truly horrible and laughable. The worst addition to this app has to be the discover bar directly under the bar where you would fast forward and God forbid you accidentally click it while trying to fast forward and you will be brought back to 0 minutes watched and restart from the beginning and watch 3 ads again to restart the video (because remember you CANT fast forward)!!!!

New update is terrible!!!. Is there any way we can get the old version back? I HAYE the new update! I can’t do anything I used to do. Can’t fast forward/rewind. If you pause it starts the movie over. If you accidentally touch the screen it starts over or sends you somewhere else and when you come back you have to start over. If you play with it long enough there is a drag bar at the bottom you can eventually get near where you were before but it is a challenge. And all your history is gone too! Just discouraged. Need the old one back!

I agree with other recent reviews. I totally *loved* this app. It used to be super accessible by allowing you to toggle rewind/forward buttons easily and it was also great to be able to watch videos while doing other things like playing games at the same time. These things were great aspects of Dailymotion and I miss them greatly after this last update. I still use DM all the time but I wish we could still have those great features.

Phone UI not friendly. I like this app, it has a lot of videos that I can’t find anywhere else. The phone UI doesn’t ever work. You can be half way through an hour long episode, try to rewind and you back at the beginning with another 30 second ad. Sometime back to back, especially you try to fix how far into the show you are. I would also love to see a hide UI feature. It tends to block subtitles. Also if you mute an ad It pauses it! Forcing you to listen to the nonsense.

GREAT APP. I love this app it lets me watch all the short videos from TikTok on here it’s great I think the only problem is adds which is fine it only shows about three , and it’s hour long clips so you have something to watch while waiting or anything and also it’s so many different types of videos and content to watch !

Not user friendly anymore. I honestly hate what they have turned this app into. It used to be easy to work you wouldn’t accidentally shoot off your video every time you touch the screen and have to find your place again. The ads didn’t get stuck as much. The stupid writing wasn’t always in the way. It’s basically trying to be an offf brand social media site. It always had the Home Screen where you could scroll if you wanted but honestly I hate that they made the videos like that now when you search too. I prefer the online version where you can still full screen and watch it and not have to worry.

Connection issues. While the app is great for watching cool videos and movies , every once in a while nothing on the app loads. I’m at home full bars , full wifi and every other app will be working but Dailymotion. This is extremely frustrating when you finally found ur movie to watch and the whole thing freezes or continues to buffer for 30 minutes with still no video! You all need to get on top of this I have read many reviews like this from years ago and this issue still is at foot.

Useless App. While Dailymotion might be a decent source in a browser setting, it lacks it in the Apps it offers. On Apple TV no sign-in option to retrieve your subscriptions or any way to retrieve your “watched” history. So you have to type in the search box every time you want to locate a video. In the iPad, log in option is offered, however, the videos thumbnails do not offer the title name or description of the content of the video, just a big still picture is all it offers.

Ads ruin this app - particularly Vrbo. I LOVED this app when I first got it! It allowed me to watch my guilty pleasure vertical dramas that I’d otherwise have to pay an arm and a leg to watch. You could also minimize the app and keep watching, and you could skip back and forth a few seconds. But with the recent updates, the app has completely lost me. Can’t minimize, can’t skip anymore, and more recently, it has begun freezing nearly every time an audio-only ad plays, particularly the Vrbo ads. It stops with anywhere from 1-5 seconds left and doesn’t resume so I have to back completely out of the app every time it happens. No longer a fan.

Commercials stop shows. As I am updating, the Verbo commercials now stop at one second before the end and make you start a show over again. It’s very irritating! There’s one particular commercial that I receive all of the time from ImOn Internet service that always stops with one to two seconds left. There’s nothing I can do about it but restart the show. It gets very annoying to have to restart the show over and over and over again because of this stupid commercial.

Can’t cast anymore. They removed the option to cast onto your tv! I was so looking forward to watch a show I cannot find on any of my paid streaming apps and was happy to find it here, however, I can’t stream it on my tv like I used to and watching it on my tablet with the annoying UI covering the subtitles makes it unusable. The Apple TV app is even worse as it’s not even working properly and can’t even search for any shows since it says “cannot find what you’re looking for” even for the most basic keywords. App went downhill.

Few issues. I love watching the dramas, however there’s definitely a few issues. The first one being it not letting me rewind or go forward. It is highly annoying. The second one, it randomly going to the discovery page and restarting my video. The third one, not remembering my progress. I feel like there should be a continue watching where it actually leaves off at your progress

It was good. I’m giving it 3 stars because they added ads. I downloaded Dailymotion because everyone k-drama app or anything that shows k-drama have ads. Now it takes me more than 1hr or 2 to watch the movies on there. And that’s along with the 1hr movie sometimes they be 2hrs. Why did the ads have to get added? It doesn’t make sense, every time an ad pops up I get and just find something else to do. It’s not the same no more, the ads be 60 seconds not even 5 seconds. Honestly I don’t think I’m going to have this app any longer just cause they added the ads.

The ads. The amount of ads I get in-between videos is actually so crazy to me and some times I would get ads immediately after finished a set a three ads back to back it’s getting hard to use this app can’t even enjoy it anymore because 89% of the video is a ad. And this is just me using the website taking away the ability to skip forward and back in the app is also trash and you can’t even do that on the website without getting an ad so sad 🤦🏽‍♀️

Amazing just amazing .. no more waiting to watch. I love this app .. no more waiting to watch anything .. no more collecting coins or being scammed to buy coins to watch anything .. I love love this app.. please please don’t change it and start getting greedy like those other apps .. and I love that the adds on here are so short.. they even have movies with no adds ..

Casting issues. Simple things need to be fixed. First there needs to be a dark mode. There’s no excuse for it not being in every app now. Also there’s issues when casting. For some reason videos will pause on the device you are casting too IF you minimize the app. This happens when using my iPhone or iPad to cast. Minimize the app and the video stops. That needs fixing what’s the point of casting when I can’t leave the app???? Also... at least I can get a video playing casting to chrome cast but trying to cast via AirPlay all I get is a spinning wheel.

A few issues. I used to love this app but now the videos restart anytime anything happens. If you skip or rewind the video starts over. If an ad plays then the video starts over. If you don’t finish the video in one sitting then you’re probably going to have to sit through the part that you’ve already seen because it won’t let you start from where you left off. I honestly don’t mind all of the ads but the constant restarts make me want to delete the app.

The app is becoming annoying. I love using this app but it has come to a point where the recessive ads just makes me not wanna be on it anymore. Firstly the ad is usually 30 seconds long, you get multiple ads in the same video then not only that you can get 2 30 seconds long and ads back to back. It’s getting to the point where I don’t even see the point in watching the videos anymore cause interrupted by an ad 6-7 times before getting halfway!!! This is honestly ridiculous. It would be better to find a different source for dramas.

New Update :(. I usually love this app, but the new updates have taken away your ability to play videos off screen, change the time of the video, and be in full screen mode. This makes it nearly impossible to use the app, as oftentimes, I need to be able to wind through videos to a different time stamp. I hope you consider bringing these features back!

So grateful for this app!. With this app I have so many shows right at my fingertips. QI alone keeps me laughing like a lunatic. When things get stressful or I just need a break from life in general, bills, the coronavirus and on and on and on, daily motion is there. It doesn’t freeze or have a hard time with the quality - it just works. Some of our cable networks need to ask daily motion how to make an app that people will love (cough, clear my throat - direct tv). Don’t change anything Daily Motion!

Still not working!. This used to be my go to app. No longer. A video will play and after a commercial the video disappears and the audio remains. Tried a dozen different ways to get it to work on my iPad Pro. Tried again today. One third of the way into the video a commercial comes on that is actually another video. Could not close the window, couldn’t bring up any actions like screen size, nothing. Deleted the app and came here to give my review. Yes, I followed the troubleshooting advice. Yes I deleted and reinstalled the app. What a shame!

Poorly designed application for a subpar video site.. Basically, if you can find your content anywhere else, skip this app. It’s painful. The app requires you to create an ID to use. This is a waste of time. On my experience, it kept playing the same video of Letitia James over and over again. I was stuck on this leftist garbage. I couldn’t, skip, delete, move on or nothing. The link to the video I wanted to watch was ignored. App lacks solid controls and connectivity. After about 6 times on the same video I couldn’t leave, I deleted the app and I’m moving on. The developer response is a joke. I mean it’s asking me to use the app which does not work to offer feedback. Use anything else instead. No video is worth this struggle. Take a walk and generate some Vitamin D. Your better off. I never got far enough to try the streaming feature. I only got to see the same video they were for forcing on the audience over and over again.

Does not work. I do not know why this app does not stream to my tv. I have a 65” Sony smart tv that’s only a few years old. Movies stop working in the middle of a show or stops after an add that’s when I try to use it with my IPad. Also there are videos that say please use link below it then takes me to a sight thats says I can watch my show for free then asks for my card information. I’m glad it works for you but I find this app/site to be horrible in function .. Personally I do not recommend

Constantly loops ads. App has constant tech issues from freezing to audio desynchronization to being caught in permanent ad loops. Anything from refreshing the video going backwards fast forwarding to simply pausing the video will automatically trigger another ad basically the software is so aggressive with pumping ads that it will sometimes end up legit breaking and going into ad limbo, this however is not a concern of the developers and will never be patched or updated because more ads mean more money rather it’s due to technological issues or genuine engagement. To them it’s profit.

Fix the Update. Prior to most recent update would’ve rated much higher. Sometimes when you want to watch mindless movies (and not have to pay for them) this was perfect, I could watch and complete other tasks at the same time and restart from where I left off if I didn’t finish it when I first started. I didn’t mind a few ads because it was free and someone has to get paid. But this new version has so many flaws that I’m hoping that they are fixing. 1. If it stops mid video for a text etc, have to start from the beginning 2. Very difficult to forward to the point you want to watch from 3. Can no longer do Picture in Picture when using other apps. 4. Freezes half way through and doesn’t restart. 5. Search is not accurate often. All these 5 factors were not a concern in previous versions so highly frustrating. If those things are fixed review will be much higher

Great App Currently Unusable On Apple TV. I love Dailymotion, but I have noticed unlike the iOS app that appears to have no issues, when I pull the app up on my Apple TV 4K, all that appears is a blank white screen. After several uninstall/reinstall cycles and reboots of the device, it still does not go beyond the white screen. Please fix this issue on an otherwise solid app/service. Thanks for your time.

Go back to the old layout. Like i understand that yall are trying to make the app better but taking away the features like fast forwarding and rewinding and making it full screen and having it play in the back ground while i play games it’s making me use the app less and less. now i love this app because i was able to watch short drama for free but this new layout is making it not enjoyable anymore so please bring back those features

Recent update. The last update made this app almost insufferable. A video that is listed for example at an hour thirty now takes upwards of two hours. You can’t mute the ads as that pauses the ad from playing. The video will play an average of five to ten minutes and then cuts to an ad for a minimum of two minutes and up. The ads are repeated two and three times in a row. And the forward and back features are gone.

Great app. This app is great if you can’t subscribe to all of the short drama apps. One flaw is the new update. The layout for a video was so perfect before, you could make it full screen, fast forward, even look for more things to watch well already watching something. If there was a way to make it full screen with this new update the app would be even better.
