Must Have App. I love this app for all of my receivers! I would have given it 5 stars, however whenever I put my iPad down, it mutes the sound on my receiver which is very annoying!

Excellent Interface!. Hard to remember the internal menus of my AVR-4308ci and the remote is not easy to use. I am the original owner and wish this app was available at time of purchase some 10 years ago. An awesome app, you won’t be disappointed! Very happy here... thank you!

Works on Marantz SR6013. Took the $5 gamble for a Marantz SR6013 and it sync’d right in! When I go to the 4K Blu-ray player I switch from hdmi 1 to hdmi 2 in my setup so I’m unable to see the Marantz display, and the Marantz app seemed very clunky. I installed the DeRemote app and now I have a visual of the things going on with the receiver without getting up to look at the portal display. Obviously there are settings in the menu that don’t pertain to this particular model. This does what I was looking for and then some too! I haven’t tried any of the online music feeds, even before installing this app, so no comment there. Hope this helps those that might be on the fence about this app.

Great, Instant Access To All Denon System Settings. Every one of the settings, including channel volumes for each speaker, are just a button push or two away. It also allows for instant access to all of your favorite Internet radio stations. Beats wading through the receiver menu, trying to find what you are looking for. Buy now, its definitely worth the $5!

Own a Marantz 8015 and a Denon 1913. I Own a Marantz 8015 and a Denon 1913. My Marantz runs just my interior TV room and my Denon is used for exterior speakers. I downloaded the app while sitting in my back porch and it automatically found both receivers in about 1 minute after downloading the app. Within 2 minutes I was playing music off Pandora in my outside speakers. I did all this in under 3 minutes and never got out of my reclining chair. I was able go change my different zones, volume, mute, all with ease. This is a very intuitive remote. It lacks a few nice features such as being able to change stations, it just goes to your last. But, this is WAY better than the Denon remote and worth every penny. For $5, it’s worth you trying if you want to control your stereo from wherever you sit without getting up.

Much better than the Denon native app. iOS 13.2 the app continually crashes, won’t open now. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck. Hopefully an update soon will fix it.

Glad I found this app. The free marantz app is nice for getting through most of the basic settings ie: volume, zone 2 source select, surround sound, radio, Sirius sat ect... This app can do just about everything that you do with the remote and going online to the IP address of the radio... I love it and use it over the original... It may not be as simple as the original because it has more functions on it.. This is a great purchase to compliment the marantz... I'm using the marantz sr6008.

Love this App. I have been using this app for several years across several iOS Devices and use it every day to control my AirPlay compatible Denon AVR-1912. Works flawlessly and so much better than official Denon app. Don't know what I would do without it. Love DeRemote! 🙏🏽

Great companion app for Denon. One ask, please add functionality so iPhone volume buttons control receiver volume if possible. Also allow this while app runs in background. Thank you.

A must have if you own Denon/Marrantz product!. I bought a mint condition Denon AVR 1912 from eBay. Everything works and everything came with it except the remote, so I had to download Denon's official app. It's convenient and free, but slow, buggy and has limited features. DeRemote, however, is 10x better than the official Denon app. Way more features, A LOT faster and very stable. It has never crashed on me in the 4 months I've had it. It's absolutely worth the 5 bucks; maybe even more. My only complaint is I wish there was a way to disable the "shake to mute" feature.* Since I use the app as my only means of controlling my receiver sometimes I sorta just drop my phone on the couch like I would a remote and accidentally mute the receiver. Not so bad when casually listening to music or TV, but bad and fairly embarrassing when in the middle of a loud action scene and the receiver cranked up to reference level with guest over. Other than that, the app is perfect. *UPDATE: There's now a way to disable the "shake to mute" feature, so now this app is totally perfect. Highly recommended!

Um, yeah, this app rocks. Might be the first app ever that exceeds expectations. I have a Logitech Harmony Elite remote and related app that allows me to control my AVR S910W Zone 2 from the patio. But the functionality is limited and difficult to program. This app is basically the Denon remote on iPhone, but even more intuitive. Zone 2? Easy. Input source? Pandora, please. Volume? 45, thank you. Great app.

Awesome, access to all commands except.... This is a fantastic remote. The only complaint is that I can't turn the volume and energy display on the TV off. The display appears every time I adjust the volume up or down.

Waste of $5. I have a Denon avr2200. The app looks great and has a lot of apparent functionality. Unfortunately, It only works every so often. 9 times out of ten, when you select a setting, it doesn't take and reverts back to the previous setting. Has a lot of potential but doesn't work. Can I get a refund? Probably not.

Essential Home Theater App. If you own a Denon or Marantz Internet-capable receiver, this app is essential for controlling every aspect and feature your receiver has to offer. It’s a quick and efficient way to adjust channel levels on-the-fly and switch between different EQ and dynamic range compression mode. You can even switch surround modes. The only unfortunate thing about this app is that it has not been updated in a while. It does not take advantage of the entire screen of newer iPhones. Hopefully, the developer will push an update at some point. At least it’s available and functional.

A Must Have For Marantz/Denon Owners. There was an article a while back in one of the A/V magazines that mentioned this app in relation to the Marantz AV8801. They too thought it was a "must have" and a steal at the price. I don't usually buy apps (or write reviews for that matter) but this one exceeded expectations and they have great support too. Really opens up the processor to make the inner workings very accessible. Tremendous help to have so much adjustment and on the fly and control in an easy to use interface.

Love it- need Dirac. The app looks so good and easy to use! It would be great if you could update it to allow the Dirac controls that are now available for the Marantz 50. Also, I love the my controls interface. Could you possibly add speaker preset selection, 1/2 and Dirac live target slot selectors?

Much better than Denon’s app. It’s much faster and more responsive as well as more fully featured than Denon’s native app. As an artist and designer, I can’t say their font selection is anything special (lol guys, hire someone who understands type), but other than that, a big improvement!

Perfect!. This app should get an award. I first gave this only a four. Shame on me. This is a revise, it really is perfect. Such easy control of all complex systems and zones, anywhere within wi-fi range. The easy to use friendly software is really great. I hope the founder makes enough from it and goes on to other good writes. Thanks, great job.

Decent but needs an update.. The app does work better than the app put out by Denon but that isn't really saying anything. I have the AVR-x6200w with atmos and dts:x and the app doesn't play nice. I can't control the ATMOS because the app says it's not supported on this receiver. Overall it's a good app but there are a few flaws.

It works!. If you’re tired of waiting for a connection to your AV receiver or wishing the app would work the way it is supposed to, then this is well worth your time and the price.

Best Denon Remote App. Been using it for like 10 years now, it’s working great. Compatible with older receivers, 4310 and 4520 in my case. Did try the Denon app once buy didn’t like it as much so I went back to the trusty DeRemote.

Not maintained, barely works. This app leaves a lot to be desired, I failed to notice that it hasn't been updated since 2015 when I purchased it in 2017. The app is not up to date for modern phone displays (massive font and waste of screen space). It also is sssslllooowwww. It takes forever to get it to actually connect to your receiver so you can do anything with it, it doesn't save anytime as it is faster for me to walk across the room and get my Denon remote out of the cabinet to adjust those seldom used buttons that I don't have programmed into my universal remote. In general this app is a complete waste of money, it is overpriced for what it does when the Denon app that is free is faster and offers most of the same things...and doesn't offer features that don't actually exist on your AVR.

Outstanding!! Very nice!. Let me start by saying that even the Marantz apps did not work for my receiver. I was very skeptical but was elated to find that it works far better than I hoped. Very high utility and it's also beautiful. Thanks very much.

Worth it. A little buggy and less intuitive than the free version (mainly due to a ton more control) but it had what I want. This is so much better if you am have more than one zone than the free app. Connects great to my x3200. Also have shared connection on my iPad and no charge for the iPad app. Very happy with. Seems a little buggy and slow in spots, even on a 6s+ device but again, tons better than the free version. Do it, you will thank yourself.

Way better than demon App for older AVR. The demon app AVR remote is what I have to use since my amp is pre-HEOS pre 2016. The demon AVR Remote app gets buggier by the day and recently quit working. So I got deRemote. Fast and easy to use. 5 bucks well spent. Thanks.

Replaces Marantz’s Nonfunctional App. The DeRemote works perfectly with my Marantz AV7704, which is a tremendous relief given the nonfunctional nature of the Marantz App. It also works with my Denon 5200, which is a few years older. I highly recommend this app if you own a Denon or Marantz receiver or separate, as its stable and fills the need left from the nonfunctional Marantz and Denon 2016 apps.

Bought it on a flyer...but it's awesome on McIntosh MX121!. I was a little leary buying this as I wasn't completely sure it would work with my McIntosh MX121 preamp / processor but since McIntosh doesn't have any proprietary app to control devices it was worth a shot. However, much to my surprise it easily found my gear and works perfectly! It is truly so much better than using the physical remote as it gives direct control over many features that are otherwise buried in several layers of onscreen menus. Love the layout that allows multiple boxes or areas for different designated controls...all of which can be customized to your liking. There are obviously a few features of the app that are not applicable to my specific equipment but most everything works spot on. If in doubt and you want great app control....DO IT! Time will tell on updates and support from the developer....fingers crossed.

Excellent design. I rarely write reviews but after using this app for just a day I am so impressed that it was necessary. The design works like a user thinks (not like some apps where they make us change to how the developer thinks we should work). It's dead simple to use. Does all the configuration automagically. Within a few seconds of it discovering your receiver you are up an running. I SOOOO wish this author woudl write an app to control my NUVO Grand Concerto multizone controller!!!!

Better than the Denon app. Great app, I have a Maranz and Denon receiver, works well with both. No ads, no obnoxious pop up’s, does not crash, does exactly what it claims

So much better than Denon's app. I've been using the Denon remote app (sparingly) for several years, mainly because my receiver is behind a cabinet door and the regular infrared remote won't work when the door is closed. But the Denon app was lousy - took forever to load and often took 2-3 tries to find my receiver. Finally, I couldn't get it to load at all. I deleted it from my phone and was going to re-install when I came across this app. After reading the generally favorable reviews I decided to shell out the $5 - and am very glad I did. Initial install was quick and painless - in less than 2 min. it found my receiver and was good to go. Since then it opens up instantly and is very responsive. It deals effectively with my two-zone system. I'll have no problem using this instead of the regular remote and will now be able to keep the cabinet door closed. That should make my wife happy. Maybe she'll be nicer to me.

Worked like a champ!. Awesome - I was frustrated by the Denon app that would not connect to my Denon AVR-S750. Found another free app that worked and did connect, but it did not have zone control. I wanted zone2 controls so I could manage my outdoor speakers. This app worked immediately and provides easy controls. Worth the $5. Very happy!

Still works perfectly in mid-2020. Not sure why some have trouble with this excellent tool. • I’ve been using it for Ten Years, or more and it still works as designed in iPadOS 13 with my Marantz AV receiver. I use it multiple times each day to tweak sound settings and levels for stereo music and surround film inputs. The Zone controls are invaluable and so much easier than dealing with the Marantz remote. Major kudos to the developers.

This is the App!. I have a Denon AVR-X7200W and for years, I was totally frustrated trying to get the native Denon App to work properly to control several zones on my network. Then I tried DeRemote and this app rocks! It works perfectly and with ease! Denon... you need to fire whoever developed your app and hire the developer of this app instead. It’s a total embarrassment that a 3rd party developer understands your product better than you do! I don’t write many reviews but DeRemote and it’s developers have earned my highest respect!

So much better than the stock Denon App. I happened across this app while reading the bad reviews for the stock Denon app. This app is much more responsive, customizable and feature laden than the stock app. So far it has been working very well with my AVR-X1300W.

Works perfect. Get this app if you want to have pretty much full control of your receiver WHILE watching a movie/gaming/listening to music. Can easily adjust channel level, changes surround settings, turning dynamic volume/EQ on and off and a lot more!! So pretty much all the setting you will need to make adjustment while enjoying your activities. Also, the app seems to keep your last used setting for each mode. For example I like to keep dynamic volume/EQ off while gaming, and on while watching movies. Doesn't require me to manually change those when I switch modes. I have a suggestion however: allow user to lock the icon at the bottom instead of switching to last used. All in all great app, and perfect for anyone that also like to play with your settings without the remote.

Eh.. Not good for Pandora. So, while it can control some additional audio settings further than the free Denon app, it does not give you the ability to control Pandora at all. You can select it as a input source, but this app provides no function to pause, skip forward, like or dislike songs or change to a different Pandora channel. I use Pandora a ton on the deck and use my phone to control 'zone 2' function. Is this manner, this app is inferior to the denon app.

Seriously Must Have Denon App. Yeah, I know the Denon App is free, but do yourself a favor and pay the couple of dollars for this app. This app can actually replace the handheld remote and put the control into your Smartphone. The Denon App just simply cannot do this.

Works so far for 1713 model. I just got This app and works so far. I was using free remote app prior this and had lots of problems with it. This app lets me adjust sound settings with ease comparing to av receiver using remote since display menu on tv doesn’t work on my receiver. However, some setting I cannot access using this app I have to use my remote to control audio EQ levels for each of my speakers to change sound quality. I like the fact it lets u create a list of settings u would like to have easier access to.

Does no recognize my IOS music library or anything internet related. I don’t understand why there is no pause or mute feature for the volume control. It won’t recognize my IOS music library. I’ve created a favorites list using Denon’s HEOS app and this app won’t recognize that either. This app won’t recognize anything internet related, touching the internet icons does nothing.

Needs Thumbs Control for Pandora. This is a decent app, but needs to give thumbs up/down feedback control for Pandora. The only reason I bought this app is because the Denon app mysteriously stopped working. If I can get Denon app to function again, I will use it instead of this app.

Junk -don’t waste your money if you use Pandora or Sirius. If you use anything that requires authentication (Pandora, Sirius, etc.) forget it! I spent hours trying to figure out how to enter my account information. It keeps telling me to “follow the onscreen menu,” well the onscreen menu shows nothing but the navigation buttons and “menu on” and “menu off” buttons, which by the way, do absolutely nothing. Sometimes I do get a prompt for an email address after switching inputs to Sirius, but the keyboard function to enter the email doesn’t work. By the way, I have worked in IT for 20 years, so I’m no stranger to technology. This stuff isn’t rocket science. As bad as the free Marantz app is, at least it worked with Sirius and Pandora.

Wow! Worth every penny!. This is my first app review in 9 years of iOS device ownership. I felt compelled to write a review because the app is so good. I have a Denon AVR-X3100W and the app works flawlessly. It's intuitively designed and provides nearly every function in an easy to use layout. The best part of the app is that it allows you to make small adjustments to your receiver setup on the fly so you can understand how those changes impact the sound/video. No more fiddling through on-screen setup menus or pressing button sequences. I am surprised Denon hasn't actually acquired this piece of software and retired their tired attempt at an iOS app. Bravo to the developer!

Can I get a hell yeah?!?!. Works perfect on my AVR-1613. After the latest update of the Denon app it stopped working completely on my model. Downloaded this and it works like it was supposed to all along. Super happy!!!!

Don’t bother to write, they won’t answer. Been trying to set this app up to work with my Denon AVR x3700h. Doesn’t want to recognize Zone 2, so limited ability to control sound throughout the house. I’ve sent two emails to the developer, with no response. Given that the last update was 6 years ago, this guy must have gone fishing.

This is a fantastic app. I'm 62. I've seen things. I remember Windows 1.1. I've been around computers continuously since the days of punch cards. Literally. This app is the absolute best designed I've ever encountered. At first blush it looks complicated, but spend a bit of time with it and you'll come to appreciate how beautifully simple it is. And all the features of your Denon receiver that were heretofore obscured by an abysmal interface are now logically presented before your very eyes. Change anything you want. It's all there. I have multiple Denon receivers throughout my house. This app recognizes all of them. I can manipulate any of them whenever I need to in any way that suits my fancy. The best for last, the holy grail of an audio system: simple, independent control of the four corners of your room. Sure, you can do this from the firmware built into the receiver, but it's incredibly cumbersome. This app lays it all out before your eyes, as stacked bars representing the channels with sliders for adjusting levels. Well done, I say!

Worth every penny and more!. Best app available for your Denon receiver. I have the AVR-4308ci and this app worth flawlessly through my home network. Just set your receiver with a static IP address.

No native resolution support for iPhone 6(s)(+). The app works great but the greatly enlarged and kind of blurry text really bugs me. Am I the only one noticing this? Why wouldn't a recently updated paid app support native resolution on devices from the last 2 years?

Works on McIntosh MX121 Too!. I just found out about this app on one of my audio forums. I realized that there is a Marantz board in the McIntosh, and low and behold I can control everything in the onscreen menus and remote from this app. I can't live without this now. I hope it always supports McIntosh, or the model that McIntosh shares tech with!

A trusted source. I got the oRemote for my Onkyo Integra over 10 years ago and the developer was very helpful. So here it is at least 10 years later I was looking for an app to control my old Denon 3808 spotted this got it right away. I don’t feel the need to look for any other Denon apps free or not. I’ve only had it five minutes but I like it already it did not detect my unit so I just looked up the IP address and put it in manually and everything is working. Thanks

Fixing something that's not broken.. Well i have been using this app from day one and has been working flawlessly. But now i've updated it and i've spent 2 hours and every configuration and setting on both devices trying to connect to my AVR1912. Why god why???????

Terrible. Save your six bucks. Can't even scroll and choose music on an ipod.

No good for avr-1912. Only gives additional control for radio stations. Speaker control etc not available. Not enough of a step up from standard Denon remote app. Waste of money.

Top Shelf. This is the App that Denon/Marantz should have written in the first place. Does everything you could want and more. The only way this app could be better is with a bit of GUI slickness. Nice work!

Works perfectly. Works great with my AVR3808 and the developer is keeping it up to date. Well worth the money, nice interface.

Works great. I have 6 Marantz NR1609 receivers. This app hasn’t been updated for years so I was worried about buying it but it has worked fantastically now for 2 years.

Brilliant, well worth it.. Having used this for one day, the cost is easily justified. A really useful and well thought out app. Works well with a couple of minor bugs that are promised fixed in the next update. Even so, a constant companion and adds to the enjoyment of the AVR3311. The app makes switching sources, stations and media files much faster than the remotes or the supplied web interface. It's easy to set up and very satisfying to use. I'm happy to support developers who put in good creative effort.

Excellent. This app works superbly with my 2312. Much better than the denon app, makes good use of iPad "real estate". Would definitely recommend purchase to anyone with compatible equipment. Great to be able to adjust almost anything without having to use the on screen interface, particularly when listening to music streaming over AirPlay.

Great upgrade. New version is great especially iPad support in the one app. Makes excellent use of the additional screen real estate. An really good addition to an already great app. Does everything I need. Gives me the control I want over my Denon 4306. Update: The latest version has broken media control from the 4306. I went to the site to report the problem and it is already listed as a known issue and fixed in the next release, so I am happy with the level of support received.

Highly recommend!. I have struggled with the denon app for months and this has solved all my issues. Connects straight away, reliably and allows me to do what I should be doing... relaxing and watching movies! Keep up the great work!

OK but could be better. Definitely better than the Denon app but there are areas for improvement (or functionality I have not found yet): - volume only allowed to go up to -22dB - no shuffle play for media server - searching for Internet radio stations not very user friendly - search for files on media server does not work (when using keypad). All in all a great app with some room for improvement

DeRemote. This is a fabulous app, well designed, user friendly and simple to use. It makes full use of the front-end functionality of the Denon in a much better way than the remotes and GUI that comes with the kit. The support I have had in the set up has been personal, responsive and good. It is great that developers take the time to create such useful apps and all credit where due. This is a real bargain when considering the cost of the original kit and makes full use my iPhone.

Don't bother. Waste of money, wish I'd stuck with the free Denon app. This app is slow to use and has an ugly interface. For the amount of money charged surely they can create a slicker looking application.

Works great. I use DeRemote combined with Touchpad to control my AV system which is in a rack in another room. DeRemote is way better than the Denon app and works for older systems as well, unlike Denon remote control. I have a 4311 in my main system downstairs and a 3808 upstairs and it works great with both. Just wish they could add disc player controls.

In the right direction. If you buy this app don't do what I did. I picked up the app poked around and figured it was missing features and was dissatisfied and put the app down. After looking again at the screenshots I saw all the missing features and went digging and they are all there just hiding! My own fault but at least I found out before deleting the app. Once a menu is active you can click its icon again and be shown all the other available menus to change channel levels, dynamic volume settings and pretty much everything else. A great app that lets you tweak settings quickly and easily and most importantly as I have a Denon 3312 i don't have to go near the atrocious remote control again!

Disappointing. Wouldn’t find M-CR510 without manually entering the IP address. I can switch between server and internet radio and that’s it. Cannot even switch device on or off.

Excellent Performance with marantz NR1602. Have given up on Marantz app which struggles to connect with amp reliably and is getting no better with updates. Assumed it was a router / amp combination causing the issues. Tried this app out of desperation. Certainly worth the price. Connects reliably and very quickly. Whilst it is a bit of a different interface, with a bit of tuning of the ipad layout options in portrait view has all the main options I need on 1 screen. Allows selection of volume, zone, power, a/v selection, radio and Internet radio presets all visible on one screen. So most of the time can just stay on this one screen. For the iPhone, use of tabs at the bottom of the screen gives quick access to similar info. Well done

Happy with this App. I've had this app for a few months now, seems to work pretty good from the last version, more stable and easier to use. The only complaint is the selections for surround modes, I haven't quite pin pointed the problem but switching between them doesn't seem quite right especially when I want 5 or 7 stereo channel, I don't think there is an option for that.

Great!. Super app, much better then the one from Marantz would be cool to get vu meters for all the surround channels if possible

iPad Crash. App works amazing on my iPhone, but won't even open on my iPad! It keeps on crashing, but it says it's iPad compatible?? Please fix, I really like this app but would prefer it worked on my iPad due to the larger gui. Thanks

Wow, MUCH better than Denon app. I'm shocked how much I can control with this app on my S910w. I was very disappointed with the functionality provided by Denon App. The UI needs some getting used to (I.e. The selection of the lower menu), but once you figure that out, you can control and check everything on the receiver.

Fantastic app. The latest version of DeRemote is a big improvement over the old one - faster, more reliable and much more user-friendly now that Internet Radio is fully supported, including Favorites. The previous issue with flaky connectivity when Bluetooth was enabled is gone. Far more flexible than DenONOFF, if not quite as slick looking. Love it!!!

Marantz av7702. So far so good. Just load the IP address and voila. Don't know why Marantz can't come up with something that works. Don't have to grab my glasses now every time to operate the Marantz remote.

A must-have for Denon owners. I consider this app a must-have for Denon owners. Instead of futzing around with Denon's on-screen menu, get instant access to virtually all the features and options of your surround processor from one screen. Works very well, and the developer is very responsive to suggestions. One of my most used iPad apps.

Not worth it. The free version is much better.

Worth the money. This is a really slick little app that is much more convenient to use on the iPhone than Denon's web interface. I'm using it with my 3808CI and so far haven't had any crashes or problems. The one area that could use improvement IMHO is the Net Radio control interface. This is awful in Denon's web interface, and isn't much better in DeRemote. We need to be able to see more presets per screen, and search by the first few characters of the station name in presets.

No Longer Works. Worked fine then just stopped. Junk app.

Sweet. I was up and running in seconds. The auto config found my 4308 right away. The interface is clean and simple. Source selection response time is immediate. Channel selection in IRadio clean. This makes my Denon a lot more usable than its ever been. A must. It will also make the IR/RF remote obsolete. Way to go! The latest version is even better. Controlling two zones by allowing to create new zones is brilliant! Thank you A few months later, I love love love this product. In conjunction with my wireless adapter equipped Denon receiver and radiodenon, I surf the world for music I like, and it's all at my fingertips. Bravo!

Crashes for me. I have a Denon 4310 and a 3310. This application crashes soon after it is launched, which is too bad. The Beta versions worked okay, but this 2.0 release does not work. Maybe because I'm on an iPod Touch G1, but I have nothing else to test it on.

Used to work doesn’t anymore.. I used this for many months with my SR7012 now it no longer connects / works ? Please patch or update the app so it’ll work again

Works great!. An absolute must-have first page app! I watch a lot of sports on TV, but I don't like the commentators, so I use this app to lower the Center channel, no joke! It's so much faster than using the built-in Denon menus and standard remote. I would be lost without this app! Thanks so much!

Awesome!. Fantastic remote for my Marantz AV7005. I was missing one feature - the ability to select the analog 7.1 input. I sent the question to the support email and four hours later I was sent a link that added the capability. That is amazing. Highly recommended. Great user interface. This does everything I need and more.

Awesome new version. Version 3.1 is just great. Pretty much support all demon advanced features such as surround, audyssey settings, ... The new UI tweaks are really cool. Allows you to assign any button to any favorite function. Worth every penny. Works perfect with my 3808CI.

Not worth the money at all. This app is not worth it. Nothing it does could not be done on the free one or the remote control. Idont even use the app at all now.

Overpriced, ugly design. Not worth $5. The developer isn't a great designer, and the visual appearance and navigation are both ugly and confusing. It works, though.

Pandora broken! Please fix!. Keeps looping on credentials. Even reset pandora password. Still doesn’t work.

Denon Deremote app, free remote and receiver. Do not waste your money in buying Denon in general. The receiver is bad and complicated to make it work. Unable to connect the Denon w720 to the wired network. The free app-remote control occasionally works. I pay for the Deremote and I was unable to make it work. Very sad experience in general with Denon brand.

Great App. Does exactly what the description says. Can now control my Denon receiver without having to point the remote.

Doesn't work. Paid 5 bucks for this app since my hard remote won't work anymore and it doesn't work. Don't waste your money.

Bad Connectivity. Does not configure to Denon 3700H, keeps saying it’s connecting but it does not complete. Waste of money. Also wanted to connect to Alexa so I could play my Sirius stations off my iPhone

Buggy, no on/off switch - SAVE YOUR $$. This app promises a lot more than it can deliver. I have had synch issues and basic functionality like on and off is not supported. It does support a lot of different features of the unit but the sync issues and lack of basic commands makes this a waste. I have to revert to the free Marantz app

Much better than the Denon native app. iOS 13.2 the app continually crashes, won’t open now. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck. Hopefully an update soon will fix it.

Just buy it.. If you have a Marantz that this app works with, just buy the app. It does everything Marantz's app should do but doesn't. It's simply a great app. (I'm using it with an SR7009.)

Needs update. I have had this remote for several years and out of the blue it stopped working. It just crashes every time you try to open it. I have an iPhone 14 Plus max. It’s all updated and still doesn’t work. Such a pity.

Not working. Most the time it is not working because can not connect to the Denon. Do not buy this app. It is not wort any $ when it is not working as it should!

Worst app ever purchased.. Can not find my AVR 2313ci even after seeding the app with the IP and confirming the IP responds to http into the receiver's internal server. I expected this app to read the receivers configuration but it can not even find it.

Nice and Fast. Marantz should be ashamed that a third party created an app that is light years better than their own app. Buy this if you have a Marantz receiver!

Inconsistent. I’ve used the remote for 2 months now and it’s been inconsistent. Functionality is glitchy, ( doesn’t recognize ATMOS) some days it doesn’t connect to my 7013 at all. When will there be update to fix issues?

Best Denon Remote App. Best in class and better than Denons own app.

Not one feature works. Can’t get on Pandora. Can’t get on internet radio. Can’t get any feature to work with my Denon in command 3312. I want a full refund. Believe the good reviews are just his friend to sucker you out of your money. Complete waste.

Development is dead. Hasn’t been updated in 4 years. It still works with a lot of Denon gear but doesn’t fully support functions of newest AVRs. Does not fit screen ratios of modern iPhones.

Didn't work in marantz 1504. Complete fail. First time I used it the app locked up my receiver and I had to unplug it to get anything at all to work. Interface isn't much better than the marantz app. Waste of 4.99.

Convoluted, Confusing, Costly. App attempts to be all things to all Marantz and Denon AVRs, choking the interface with features your system may or may not have. Requires extensive setup time, and no refund if it fails to talk to your AVR. A $5 dice roll at best.

The app the Marantz should have developed!. Really amazing and complete control of my SR5007. I can even adjust the channel volume on my Dolby sound on the fly. Thank you.

For Denon owners, indispensable. Rock solid, comprehensive, endlessly configurable, and won't slurp up your battery. Entirely trouble-free after years of use with my Denon AVR-4310CI.

DeRemote for Denon and Marantz. I own a Marantz SR7015 and this app doesn’t even load. Can’t even get far enough to connect to system. I off loaded it and reloaded it several times. Please advise if there is anything that can be done.

Doesn’t work. I bought the app but it never connects to my Denon receiver.

Worked great the one time it connected.. Using a Marantz MCR610 and iOS 9.3. App connected once and has not connected since. Have tried reinstalling and nothing. Deleted.

Worked well for a few months.. Was great while it worked. I enjoyed it for about 3 months. Now every time I open it on iPad or iPhone it can’t find the receiver. The Official Marantz/Denon app works fine but not as easy or versatile.

Junkware. I have a Denon x4400h. This app offers no improvement over the free app. Yes it will raise and lower the volume but that’s about all I could do. Couldn’t select or switch zone input sources. Seems like it can’t really connect to the Denon.

Seems like an intentional rip off. My 2016 Denon receiver is not listed in the “will not work with” model array yet it will not detect nor will it configure manually with IP. Total waste of time and money.

Difficult. Hard to use. I left my free app and paid to get this one based on the reviews. Too many screens, not streamlined, and couldn’t get it to work. I uninstalled immediately and went back to my old app. Big disappointment, sorry I spent the money, and I rarely buy apps.

Works as advertised. It works! No hassle. Connects to my marantz 7008 and all functions work. Managing settings is easier than with the remote. Great app, thank you.

Save your $, the app is badly out of date.. No substantial updates to keep up with iOS or receiver connectivity. I've tried it with multiple marantz receivers and it's just slow and a clunky app to begin with. Just use the free app that marantz offers.

No family sharing. App design is by no means groundbreaking but it is functional. Does what it is supposed to do. My problem is that each family member has to buy their own. Even with apple family sharing - it asks money from each member. Big negative..

Not working nicely with SR5007. I had a problem with my original remote and downloaded it to try to use as replacement. The connection is slowly and not always working at all. Too expensive for this kind of a trial...

Deremote app freezes. I have the DeRemote app on my iPhone 14Pro and my iPad and they work great. When I attempt to install DeRemote app on my iPhone 13 the screen freezes and will not go to settings to find my Denon receiver. Makes no sense and both iPhones are running the same IOS.

Wasted $. I have a Denon AVR-900W. The app cannot find my receiver on the network. I can occasionally get it to work by manually entering the receiver's IP, but even then if I leave the app and return, the app can no longer connect, I have to delete it and start over. Very frustrating. Useless. Would love that $ back.

Works great with my old AVR-3808ci. Easy set up. Found my 3808ci on my network and auto configured it. Flawless setup!

Outperforms the Denton App. That sums it up. I love the source menu. So much more intuitive.
