Potentially phenomenal. The concept is great. It should really be customizable for the individual. We should not force a player into a specific ratio but be able to dial the tool to them. I’ve seen some great short games that are not 2:1. Same with full swings. Not all are optimized at 3:1 Please consider that some users would like to customize both the ratio and the tones. At least be creative and add more and different tones and voice cues. Waiting on your updates.

Tour Tempo good product. I downloaded the app for my iphone. I also purchased the Tour Tempo frame counter. It was great to see my swing frame by frame. I am a 4 handicap and like most golfers sometimes my swing gets out of wack. I believe it is due to my tempo. Specifically on windy days where I feel the need to swing harder. I went to the range and listened to the tones while hitting a bucket of balls. I found the tones which worked with my swing and found I was making better contact with the ball. I then went to the bunker where I have been having problems. I used the short tones and found immediate results. I found out I was taking to long of a swing which was not helping me execute the shot. The short tones got me back into rhythm. I can't wait to get the micro player and try it out on the course. Like another person said in their review, the cost is not that expensive equating it to a few buckets of balls at the driving range. Add in the cost of private lessons and I think you are ahead of the game. I believe this product is great for the golfer who already understands their game and just needs to fine tune it when something breaks down in the timing of their swing.

Frees the mind up!. I finally committed to these tempo tracks and it really frees the mind up from paralyzing mechanical thoughts. Customer service is top notch also!

This is an extremely helpful tool. I compete in long drive competitions. This is the first year I'm pursuing the sport, and I have made it to the world championship in Mesquite Nevada. I gained a consistent 5-7 mph increase in my swing which is a large increase in this sport. Using the right tempo for your game is critical to becoming a better ball striker and all around golfer. It takes practice and hard work to become a better golfer, and this app is a great tool for the game.

Best Instruction Ever. This app and the book by the same name are the best golf instruction ever. The drills are simple and easy to execute. Tour Tempo takes the complexity out of golf and makes it fun while learning to play your best. I purchased my copy several years ago and I come back to it again and again when I need a tune up. I highly recommend it.

No video. I paid $25 bucks for an app that doesn’t work. I’d like my money back. I emailed the author but he told me to just re-down load it again. Still ain’t working.

Better release, trajectory and distance. Completely worth it as a supplement to the (green) book. The workout video is especially helpful. This app is the Rosetta Stone of golf for me. I have had it for 10 years or so (2012?). Whenever I lose my swing,Total Game (Tour Tempo) helps me link my upper and lower body.

Not enough tempos. After getting The app none of the tempos fit me. Because I have a quicker 3-1 tempo. It should allow you to adjust the tempo to 12-4 and such. Not only what they have. 18/6 is to slow for me, I hit It solid going quicker. Good concept though. Wish I could get my money back.

Glitchy. The app is very glitchy and crashes all the time, making it difficult to consistently use at the range. If it worked well, I’d give it 5 stars.

Tour Tempo Golf Ap. I would like to thank the Tour Tempo team for assisting me with a broken micro player! When first learning of Tour Tempo, I adopted the music training aid as my swing coach. I have seen my handicap shrink from 12 to 7 and attribute the reduction solely to Tour Tempo Golf. My short term goal is to hit a 4. I intend to continue to work my swing with the Tour Tempo system and will also use the 2:1 tempo training aid for my short game. I am thankful that Tour Tempo Golf stands behind its products. No questions asked when replacing my Micro Player! I am even more thankful they continue to invest in technology like this Ap to make the system even more valuable for struggling golfers like me! Picked up 30-40 yards in 2 weeks. Thank you Tour Tempo! I picked up 30-40 yards in just 2 weeks! I have worked hard every day with a combo of the Tour Tempo Tones, Power Whip, Speed Ball, and some strength training. I was hitting driver 240-250, know I am 280-290, feel like 300+ will be coming soon!

Wish I had found this first.. I bought the short game book, then the full swing book - primarily to get the audio clips. I am looking forward to get my golf net so I can practice at home. I feel this will be a great addition to my golfing enjoyment, scoring too!

Worth It.. When I first saw the tour tempo app I thought there is no way that I'd ever spend 24 bucks on an app! My roommate who is often my counterpart when we play local golf courses also conveyed his opinion saying that it would be a waste. For some reason I bought it anyways and I can honestly say it has changed my golf life. I went from topping the ball and occasionally taking a divot with my driver and never even imagining that fairways were possible to shooting in the low 80's and seeing substantial improvements in my entire game. Now when we go golfing and I win by ten strokes I ask my roommate if he still thinks I wasted my money and the look on his face tells me that this app is priceless!

Overpriced. $25 is way too much for this app. Swing Tempo provides the same functionality, but without the extra bells and whistles for $2. Other programs are out there to help develop a good swing. I've been very pleased with Swing Reader, which has helped me get on plane. I agree tempo is very important, but this app is overpriced.

Great app to help with your swing tempo. This was one of the tools that a professional golf pro used in a lesson for me. It was very helpful in regulating tempo of my golf swing. When I stuck to the right tempo, my inconsistent swing resulted in a very playable shot quite regularly. I like to use this app every time I practice.

Nice but.... Love the app. Useful on and off the course. Gave it a 3 star because of price...WAY TOO MUCH for what you get. Really is a $5 app at most. Would have made it 4 star if it was cheaper. 5 star if they would have included the mp3's on their website. As it is now its really a question of the value you put on tempo and a coaching aid to that end. I will definitely get use from this app but feel short-changed because of what I mentioned above... Especially without the music because "swing, set, through" and a piano "plunk, plunk, plunk. Get old fast. Hopefully it will be updated with REAL music in the future. By the way, I am a 2 hdcp, and mechanical engineer that studies the physics and golf swing extensively. Whatever...

Wow!. Good golly miss Molly!!! I have spent thousands of dollars over 40 years on all kinds of gadgets, swing improvements. You name it - I’ve like spent money on it. As I was approaching 50, I committed to getting my HC from 12 to scratch. After thousands on lessons and ~500 balls a day, I got to 4.6, suffering subsequent injuries that has now limited the amount I can play or practice. Over the last two years, I’ve lost ~10-20 yards on every club and the HC climbed to >6.5. Till today that is!!! The Tour Tempo app is absolutely the best $30 I have ever spent. Hit 200 balls on the range. PW through 5i has picked up at least 20 yards and my driver now back to ~250!!! What was truly remarkable was how a simple 21:7 ratio allowed me to work the ball again…L —> R and R —> L. BTW…all I hear is the three tones and it’s been 3 hours. Do they go away?!! Haha! Thanks John!

Not what I expected. Just some simple tones? should be able to space them, way too expensive, other users must be beginners

Great idea. Tour tempo is a great tool. Unfortunately playing the tones over and over and over isn't as helpful as they could be. If the spacing between each set was random I would have given this app 5 stars. The constant rhythm makes it very tough to react(not anticipate) the upcoming tones.

Definitely not worth the price. If this app were priced at $0.99 it might be worth it. But at 25 bucks it is a joke. If no stars were an option, that is where I would rate it. Save your money - go to a music store and get a metronome - does same thing for a lot less.

Game Changer!. I wish I had known about this app five years ago. I’m hitting the ball so crisp and so far that my buddies are super jealous. My putting has improved dramatically as well. This app/concept was recommended in the book “The Four Foundations of Golf” by Jon Sherman. I was also reluctant to spend $25 on an app, but I eventually gave in and saw immediate results. I would highly recommend this app. I can’t believe there aren’t enough reviews about this app!!

Videos don’t seem to work. I just downloaded this app and tried it out. The tempo guidance works well but the videos don’t load at all. The app just crashes? I’d really love to see “how” I’m suppose to apply the theory.

Ugly failure. I hate to write this review because I really thought this approach would work. My profile resembles Bob Walsh's - 16 handicap, decent mechanics, started at 41/11. Bought the book, read it carefully, worked on the tones for the weekend without a ball, made the transition to 27/9 pretty easily. Excited to take it to the range. Well, just got back. Results: mostly shanks and weak pushes. No draws, no solid strikes even. Poor yardage. No way to sugarcoat it: This was ugly and a big step backwards. I've had pros tell me for years that you have to get worse to get better, but this was embarrassing. I'm happy for the guys in the book that saw dramatic improvement, if that was real. It did absolutely nothing good for me. Can I get a refund? PS - why not put 30/10 and 33/11 on the app, since they're on the CD? Those of us whom "speed kills" could use a break. Dyin' out here.

Total Game IS the final secret. I bought the Tour Tempo book a couple of years ago and found the information intriguing;however, I failed to spend the time necessary to achieve optimum results. This app is extremely user-friendly, and I have already seen dramatic improvements in one week's time. Highly recommended.

Nice, but too expensive. It is a very helpful app but $25 plus tax is too much for any app.

Great purchase!!!. So I'm a pretty inconsistent golfer. I could shoot an 87 or 107 on any given day as a 22 handicap. I bought the app, went to the range and hit a bucket at a tempo that seemed way too quick from the top of my backswing. The next day I hit another bucket using the app before playing 18 at a new course. I played the tones during my round to see what would happen and I shot a 41 on the front and 48 on the back. From now on, whenever I hit balls I will be using this app.

Worth It. Honestly, the app itself is not worth $25. The content just isn't there. However, the concept is worth well more than that. I got more out of using this app than from many golf lessons. Don't look at this as an app purchase- look at it as a $25 golf lesson on tempo. There is nothing that can offer more improvement to your game for less.

Has helped me in several areas. I have been using the Tour Tempo app in my practice sessions, on the range, and on the course for the last week and it has helped me in following ways: 1) It clears my mind of multiple swing thoughts which inhibit a free swing. I focus my attention on making a smooth swing at a target while listening to the tones rather than letting multiple thoughts detract me. 2) The short game tones promote a crisp, consistent tempo around the greens. My chipping and pitching is much more solid as a result, my bunker shots still need more practice with the tones. 3) My follow through has improved dramatically, resulting in more distance and trajectory with my irons. I finish with my hands high in a great finishing position. So far this has been the #1 benefit of using this app — I am finally able to swing freely and fearlessly on every shot! The folks at Tour Tempo are a pleasure to work with and have developed a high quality app.

If you love golf but wish you could improve in an area, try this app out................. As a struggling golfer who shoots in the 80's on a great day and 90's on a bad day, golf can be extremely frustrating. Especially when you're as inconsistent as I feel I am. So many times on the range as i'm hitting a couple hundred balls, i will occassionally hit one where the tempo just felt perfect and i felt i was completely in rhythm and didn't even need to look up to see where the ball was flying, i just knew......it was going straight and far. however, i never could consistently replicate it nor could i figure out what that "it" factor was. Tour Tempo provides that "it" factor. I have to admit, I haven't gone to the range yet to try it out but so far I have been impressed with the app, and have been working on my swing from the comfort of my home to the beat of the 24/8 tempo and it just feels "right". I'm dying to hit the range and try it out. Aside from that, the app provides some very nicely produced videos with advice and drills to help with the swing. I have to say the videos are crisp and clear and the voice volume is pretty loud and perfect. From Y drills to L drills, setup to tempo, bunker shots, lob shots, chipping and putting, this app has it all. Highly polished app, and highly recommended.

Not Everyone is a 2:1 Putting. (Scratch player, very good ball striker, average putter (not because of tempo) This years focus for me is working on a consistent tempo. For me chipping the ball I’m right at a 2:1 tempo. Putting I’m a 1:6:1. With that being said, it’s disappointing you cannot change tempo’s in the app depending on your needs. I wouldn’t buy the app until you know what your basic tempo(s) are and know you will work until you’re a 2:1 with all your short game. If your using it to smooth out your stroke and keep it consistent at something other than a 2:1 tempo this app is not for you.

Rip off?. What am I missing? This is a $25 metronome…

Excellent App!. I’ve been learning golf for 5 years now and have been frustrated that I can’t seem to consistently groove my swing. By chance a fellow golfer was using the app and he showed to me. I researched it and it took me a few days before I put out the $24. But I can say after one month, my swing has improved and my consistency has improved. I use the long shot tempo. Not so much the short game tempo yet. The tutorials are good. I only wish they had one for the driver. It will seem fast at first but it makes sense. Time the pros on TV and you’ll be amazed at how fast their swing time is.

Awesome. I love this app I use the tones every time I go practice! They have helped me become more consistent. Also I gained yardage on my irons. I would recommend this app to anyone that wants to improve their golf game.

Game Changer!. I love this app, I use it every time I am at the range, and using the 3:1 tempos have led to a more balanced swing with increased distance. The thing that I have been most impressed with is the way that I can take what I worked on during my practice session out onto the course; the tones are simple enough that even without playing them I can recall them while I'm playing, and it has led to better ball striking, more distance and better results! Great App. The tempos are excellent as a training aid, and the new interface changes on the app are a huge improvement.

Tour Tempo Sucess. I have been working very diligently on my swing over the past 4 years. My results have been very good. I now have a proper inside out swing plane, make solid ball contact and generally a consistent and predictable swing. The last remaining area that Has been elusive is distance. I am very physically fit and flexible, but generally the consensus is I lack swing speed. I have been working on this last season and since Feb this off season. I read the article last week in Golf mag, downloaded the app and started swinging with the Tour Tempo. The very next day I played and swung with the tempo reverberating in my head. The results were positive. I have practiced using the iPad playing the tempo and played one more time. Yesterday while again practicing with the Tour Tempo I measured my swing speed and saw an increase of 5.5 percent. I reached a speed of 102 mph, first time ever over 100 mph and this only after one week. This works.

Waaaaay too expensive. Basically you get a few videos on how to use the app and a metronome. Not nearly worth the cost although you do get a metronome to practice to. Would be much happier if I hadn't bought it.

My swing speed just increased from 70 to 90MPH. I was initially hesitant to spend money on this app but after downloading the Tour Tempo Force eBook earlier, I decided to give it a go. I can never break 70+MPH being a 2 year senior golfer but tonight, I clocked in at 90+MPH on my E6 Connect hooked up to my Tittle X. Will definitely try my new swing tempo on the drivingr range and on the course very soon! Many thanks to Tour Tempo!!!
