great app!. nothing missing

Why is this a 63mb app?. etherwake, a command line app in Linux that does the exact same thing, is a whopping 11kb; yet, for some reason this is 63mb. What possible justification can there be for that? It's not even a universal app, and there's no real graphics to speak of. I have no idea how large it was when I first downloaded it in 2010. It has always worked as advertised, though.

Works well both over LAN, as well as the internet. ...however, setting up WOL on the PC may not be trivial...especially when configuring a router for WOL over the internet. Once it's done correctly, this App works exactly as advertised. Good job!

Works as advertised. This app has worked perfectly for me 100% of the time! I use it to wake my Mac desktop, so I can send files to it from my iPad and iPhone. Worth every penny of the price.

Os X lion update won. a little help… after installing Os X lion it won't let my mac to wake up or reboot…not even in local network. one thing let me do is sleep. please a little help if you figure this out

Does not work. Save your money, the app does not work on LAN or Internet even after linking both your iPad and Mac to gmail.

My fav WOL app. Beautiful UI, powerful tools, simple to use. Well worth 2 dollars.

Wake Won’t Work. I can make my Mac lie down (sleep) and play dead (shutdown), but it seems to hate waking up just as much as me.

Great app. Had it working within minutes of installation. Wake on Lan and Internet worked with little configuration. The auto configuration option worked well. Great application.

Awesome!. Works perfectly over 3G and wifi. Now I can let my computer sleep AND still use LogMeIn to gain remote access. Keep up the good work! I use a Mac Mini with Snow Leopard by the way.

Works to WOL my Mac over wifi with Time Capsule. Works great to WOL my 2010 Mac Mini remotely over the Internet! Key steps: - Have a dynamic DNS service to point to your network's external IP. Enter this static address into the app - Set up my Time Machine to forward UDP 9 to my Mac's static IP address It can be done. Contact this app's tech support if you have issues. Don't leave a bad review just because you don't try hard enough or you fail because you don't know what you are doing. Again, it can be done and works beautifully on my 2010 Mac Mini over wifi with my Time Capsule, controlled by this app over the Internet.

Apple Watch support please. App works perfectly. Please add Apple Watch support for WOL. Tried wake on lan competitors with Watch support, but they do not work as consistently.

Nice app. Nice app but would be better if it can turn off windows computers not just macs.

Works well. Very easy interface, works well. Have to be connected to your network to work. Wasn't able to do remote over the Internet, but it's still very good product.

Didn’t work for me.... I thought this was working to wake via internet…I set up port forwarding on my router as per the instructions but after a day, it stopped waking via internet. It wakes when I’m on my local network but it’s not worth paying for an app that only saves me a short walk to the office. App seems to work for other reviewers so maybe its just my hardware setup.

Excellent IT Tool!!!. How many times have you been at work and cannot remote in to your machine at home because it's asleep or your power turned off or for whatever reason. With some EASY and FAST configuration, I am able to use my 3Gs to power up all of my machines from anywhere I have AT&T service and or Wi-Fi. Locally in my network not so much an issue, however, this application automatically detects your settings by providing IP addressing. Great work! Great App!

Doesn't always work. Only 2 stars because it doesn't always wake the computer and doesn't always succeed in putting it to sleep, either. This app should be only $0.99.

Doesn't work at all. It never works over Internet, only local networks, rendering the app useless, save two bucks and don't buy this crap.

Requires DynamicDNS Don. I could not find it anywhere that DDNS is required. So to use the internet you have to go out and get a subscription to DynamicDNS.

It Works!!!!. After wrestling with my Fios router and software firewall, INet WOL works just fine on WIFI. I will read up on internet WOL.

works. A little nicer than iWOL, get a dd-wrt router for wake on lan over the Internet and then follow the dd-wrt instructions for wake on lan.

Top notch. Great app - works perfectly on LAN or Internet. I would give it a 5 the second they allowed for remote shutdown/reboot/hibernate on Windows 7 machines.

Best WOL on the app store!. Used to use iWol because it was one of the first ones on the app store to do wol but this app is much more configurable and easy to use. It works great. Can't wait for version 2.0 coming out in november 2010 to support iOS4!

might be good ... if I can get it working :-) Trouble is, I can't get a reply from the developer to figure out what's not working when trying to "wake" over the Internet. Nice enough interface for a simple one-note utility, but given everything looks correct and I can't get in touch to find out what's not working, I'll hold off on the 5 stars :-)

Satisfied. It works perfectly! DDWRT has a configuration / firmware that allows it to work on a Linksys router.

Very handy ap. Had a little trouble getting it to work with Vista on a PC. Support was well intentioned but limited in resources. Found the work around independently and once I did it worked just as advertised. Very handy ap that saves one from having to manually wake your computer.

Very Functional. Does exactly what it suppose to- works on internal wifi and via 3G. The iPhone app deserves 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because there is no larger interface for the iPad ( but it is fully functional on either device).

Works as advertised. WOL worked just the way I expected on local and remote wifi networks. I don't understand people who drop stars for features that were never advertised to begin with. I did my homework before buying and haven't been disappointed.

Works, easy to use.. Thanks to this app, and a dynamic dns address, I am now able to wake up my iMac remotely. Then I use Jump Desktop to log in and use my desktop from the road.

Does not work!. Wasted $1.99 AND my evening trying to get this to connect. After spending a whole evening trying to get this to work, I gave up and found another application which ACTUALLY works! Beware! Do not purchase!

Inet wol. Good programe

Decent - WOL doesn’t work, though.. The app, for what it’s worth, is decent. Given remote login capabilities, it can send sleep and shutdown commands… but, at least on Sonoma 14.2.1, waking a sleeping Mac fails. The problem, and the reason I’ll be refunding when the purchase is pending, is that the only other two functions that work require SSH remote login access, and send commands directly to System Events, which is very insecure given it’s not asking for iCloud information, and just the system’s username and password. That’s not a setting I’d like to keep enabled on my personal system. If you need what it offers, it’ll work perfectly for you. If you wanted to have a way to remotely wake up your Mac without hitting your keyboard, maybe skip this one.
