Great experience. Awesome app! I was in the library at my college and didn't have a bible on me. I overheard a girl talking to her friend about how she didn't know if she believed. My ears perked up and I knew I had to do something. Thank God for this app! He gave me scriptures that I wrote down and slipped the note to her as she left!! That note from Jesus I pray saves her life!

Such a beautiful app, share the word!. And to the atheist guy complaining: don't worry, there's an app for you. Just hit the sleep button on your iPhone. That dark screen you'll see is all you believe in. Feel free to watch for as long as you want and enjoy all the knowledge you can get from it.

A blessing. When I wake at night, and I don't want to get out of bed to retrieve my Bible, I use this app. The scriptures given are exactly what I need at the right time. I use the fave ❤ button to store the most meaningful verses. Later, with my Bible in hand, I find these verses and read the passages in their entirety to get the complete message. Always remember to read the whole message, not a sample. This keeps you from taking things out of context.

LOVE this App. I LOVE this App. I find it easier for myself and my 11 year old to make a daily habit of ready and talking about the Bible. I personally have found myself going to the App a few times a day. The other day my boyfriend asked if I downloaded something new on the phones called Bible Verses because he liked. 😇🙏🏻

The Armor of Christ. Bar none my favorite app. The Lord tells us to put on the Armor of God in order to protect ourselves from the ways of the world. WOW. First off I have to say, I have never seen an ap designed as clean as this one. Not only that but it is organized so nicely it makes using it a cinch! I have been searching for a daily verse ap and I haven't found any others half as great as this one. Most have only like 35 verses, but this one is endless-which is awesome because it's annoying when you've run out of fresh verses. Love Love Love!!!!!!. This app has really helped me. I have just recently started going back to church and praying again. This app is great for me. I read these verses in my down time, spare time or even when I'm in the car, waiting for my husband to get off work lol the verses are inspiring and keep my spirits lifted!!! Bible verses. I Love reading God's Word....I new verse daily. Many times after reading the scripture since there is just one verse, I go look up the chapter from the verse to understand the content of what the verse is saying. A really nice app!! Thank~you! Awesome!. I really like the app because it randomly gives me verses daily. I love that I can save my favorites! I think it would be cool if I had a tab I could click on to continue reading that verse on that chapter in the Bible. Reminder. It doesn't matter what kind of day I am having, when the "Reminder" rings that I have something new to learn - it does provide a chance to spend that moment with God! It reminds me that no matter what kind of day I'm having, God is still God!

A blessing!. This app is amazing. So simple & easy to use. I feel God speaking to me through it all of the time. When I'm having a rough day I'll ask God to speak to me & then open the app...it's so awesome when the exact verses I need to hear pop up one right after the other! This app is truly a blessing & gives God an easy, fast way to speak to you when you need it the most. I love it!

This is a Good app. I really like that your'e able to do things like: favorite quotes you like and read them in different languages, as well as email quotes directly from the app. Something I would like the app to have (which it doesn't have currently) is the option of a back button so that you could view the quotes you've read before.

Love it. This is such a great app for so many reason. I love how it's in King James. I was kind of annoyed at first when I got the app now I love taking the extra time to figure out what exactly God is trying to tell me in lovely Victorian English. The format is also nice, you can easily see the verses you favorited and you can also change the verse if you don't like it. Overall, this app is the one of the only things on my phone that puts me closer to God, so I appreciate it greatly.

Almost perfect?. Great for a daily scripture verse(s) ... Saving verses to favorites was easy, but would be even better if one could do something other than email the "favorites". It would be so much more useful if we could use the favorites as memory verses ... I.e. If we could scroll through them alone. Maybe even put them in categories for meditation, etc.

Encouraging. Everyone in this world needs a daily random reminder that Jesus died for for a opportunity to walk through life with us. That there is "no one".... No 1 is ever alone. I myself downloaded this app. and love those daily reminders especially of knowing I'm not alone on my daily battles in life!

Plz update. If you could plz update this app to show bible verses everyday at 12:00 instead of it telling me - "Its time to learn something" and then I have to click on the app and find out. Ever since.... Ever since I started using this app for reflection and focusing purposes on a daily basis I have found it much easier to "abide" in Christ. This is no small statement. God uses this app in my life to call to mind verses that have a strange way of meeting me right where I am at. But who can tell of the mystery of the provision of our Lord! Satan must HATE this simple tool. But as many know - there is nothing "simple" about meditatingon the Word of God. :) There is, however, power.

Advertisement. Like the app but as I start reading a dam advertisement pops up really quick and I have to cancel the advertisement and start re-reading. Annoying!!! Slow down the advertisement!

Great!!. Thanks for making such a wonderful app. The icon and interface is designed nicely unlike other free apps, and the content and options are great as well. The ads are anoying but the price of the full ad free version is a bit high. Overall this is a great free app. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful. This app is great. I don't have a bible except for the ones on my phone and was looking for something I could look at daily versus with, without have to sit and search for hours... This app really delivers. Ignore the low ratings, they are from people who didn't really want this app in the first place. I feel it is neccessary to let the atheist know why there are app about God and no app about atheism- it's because God exsist and atheists have not been taught the word so they do not know. Also atheists don't care enough to make an app for what they believe because they don't belive in anything! And with you using the word hell you must belive in something because any atheiest that I have ever ran into or had a convo with let's me know that they don't belive in heaven or hell. All in all this is a great app.

Reader. I like this app, it is what I need when I am feeling down, unloved, not liked at all. This app helps to lift myself out of the darkness, unwillingness, and provides the lords graciousness so I am whole again. Look To Him And Teach Your Children. We all must set an example for our children. Do not set out to hurt others. Do not steal your neighbor's bread. Ask yourself if your children would be proud to know what you have done. It is not too late to repent. I keep Jesus in my heart and these verses help me do that.

Very Disappointed in the Makers of this App. I have enjoyed this app until now. I am deleting it from my phone because you have chosen to take out Psalm 137:9. Yes, it may be shocking, but YES it is taken out of context--as are many scriptures. Are you just going to pick and choose the Bible verses you--or the people--want to hear?? Are you only going to use scriptures that never offend anyone or that everyone likes?! It's ridiculous! Jesus said things ALL THE TIME that offended people. The Bible even warns that in the last days people will want a watered down gospel and want their "ears tickled". Please stay true to the Word of God. He will honor you for it. Anyone who turns away from the gospel because of that verse a) probably isn't interested in "the truth" anyway and b) has not spent enough time with God to know His heart or to balance it with the rest of scripture. I feel you have disrespected the Bible by taking the verse out and it offends me as a Christian for anyone to do that. Please reconsider and add it back in. God bless.

Hits the Spot!. A must have. Have had an iPhone from day one and have never submitted a review... until now. This app is positively stellar. I find myself sitting for long periods of time just browsing. Further, I find many of the verses wonderful to have on hand, as I have 4 teens. Thank you, thank you, thank you and many blessings.

I really love this app!!. I read it daily with my daughter. She's six and we have another app for her to read every night but we like this one better because it's clear and right to the point. Love this app!. This app is great, I love that it reminds me every day "it's time to learn something" ... The only thing I don't like is that it is pretty obvious that it just randomly picks a verse, and there is no thought into what verse you get, simply because sometimes you'll get one verse saying "______ son of _____ brother of ______ and grandson of _____" which makes totally no sense when it is alone and out of context... That is my only complaint. Otherwise, I love this app, and I do use it daily.

Love This App So Far. Just got this App but I have to say that I really do LOVE IT!!!! Great App. This app is definitely a good one. It gives you an alert at 12noon consistently letting you know to read a new verse. The verses are helpful with everyday life and they can be used to encourage others. Being a young minster, I fine this helpful for me and it use it to lift up others. Enjoy!. I just started using this app.. The one thing that I would like to see is different is having the ability to use other versions of the Bible. I personally use the ESV and American Standard. I still would prefer to use ESV or American Standard, have difficult understanding KJV or NKJ I am really thinking about deleting this app. Just don't relate to the KJ V nor the NKJ .. So sorry but unless I can get something from the verse then why bother.

Wonderful. This App uplifts me when I need it the most. It is there when I am having a bad day and my Bible is at home. The best part is you can save verses to your favorites and whenever I am going to bed at night I look through the ones that really touched my heart the most. More Apps should be used for good and spreading Gods word like this one.

Easy to use and nice way to end my day. I like to end my day by flipping through these verses. If I read one I like I can easily flag it as a favorite. Also, if my daughter is already in bed when I read one I want her to know, then this app let's me e-mail it to read to her in the morning.

Lovely but verses can be random. This is the best-looking interface I've seen from the selection of free daily verses (I found the ads to be unobtrusive) but it seems to be a shuffle of literally every verse in the Bible - I got one that was from a genealogical passage. You'll definitely get the Word, but this may or may not be the inspiration you're looking for. I'm deleting this one & using Barbara Lehrman's daily passage & commentary instead (I had never heard of her until someone referenced her free app in another review, but I like what I've seen so far).

Really good app. This Bible verse app is really good because it comes up with a new verse every time you tap on it and mostly the verses are really encouraging occasionally you get a nothing verse but mostly they are good plus you can tap to get a new verse anytime by tapping on the arrow I would recommend this app for iPad

Mixed feelings. My review goes down to two stars since they introduced the full-screen ads with delay timer before you see any verses. I appreciate the Bible passages and ad-supported is ok to a point but this is a bit like money changers in the temple - it's gone too far. Will be deleting, there are much better daily verse apps out there.

Bible Verses App. This has to be one of the best apps I have. Every mor. I can start the day with a verse to hide in my heart. I love the fact that I am also able to read more than one verse, add it as my favorite, or simply encourage a friend through easy access email. The print is also easy to read. If you have a desire to know God,and his word this app is definitely for you.

Great app. I was happy to find this app, and love to occasionally dip in to see what is up for the day, contemplate it, and maybe page on for a few more possibilities for that day. I usually find something I want to favorite. Occasionally I page through too fast and realize I wanted to favorite something earlier that day. There seems to be no easy way to arrow back. Like the way the verses are generally so short.

Rating. I love this app, it is very easy to navigate and very simple to use in reposting on FB and SIMM. I wish all of the other apps would make them this simple. The back ground makes seeing the words easy on the eyes. VERY WELL DONE!

I LOVE IT! (cookie monster voice). I absolutely love it, BUT I do wish it had a much more diverse versions of the Bible. For example, the ESV is what I like to read more but other than THAT! It gives me so much encouragement when it sends me one at 1230 everyday. :) you should geeett iiiiiit

Awesome!. I am so happy to have Bible verses just a tap away. I love the reminder at noon. It gives me strength and encourages me. I am a missionary living in the PH and I even run into other foreigners. I am excited to use the other languages some day. Hopefully you guys will get verses also in Tagalog. Thank you!

Great way to start the day!. This is a nice app for reminding me to get into the Word. It helps motivate me and is quick and easy to use. I like the capability of being able to add a verse to favorites or go to a different verse too.

Very inspirational. It is nice to have such an inspirational app that is beautiful, simple, and does absolutely nothing that takes away from my few minutes with the Lord on a break at work.

Great bible version. Sometimes we pass our day being so busy, but with thus new app, I set myself a reminder do that I can't miss reading the word; great way to start and end my day.

YAY iPad finds God!. I love it's simplicity and the reminder feature is nice but I would like to be able to set it for a different time of day. Helps me stay tuned daily to what really matters in life. Using technology like this to help change lives that change the world = awesome stuff!

The Good Book. It's always motivating or educational to read a little passage from the Word each day. This is a simple and hassle-free app that even comes with a non invasive reminder. The only improvement that could possibly be made is the inclusion of a link to further study of the passage.

Nice, Free and use the reminder. Simple app that I downloaded just to help me in my walk with Christ but I never use it. So I found in the App's settings it's a reminder you can turn on. AWESOME! makes me read a nice scripture a day n reflect on God.

GREAT APP. I love this app, it helps me with my devotional time with the Father every day esp. When you think you may have the time to spend with him, it's readily accessible at your fingertips! Quick Inspiration. I have this one on my home screen and pull it up when stressed or bored and have received the perfect verse within 1-3 screens that was just what I needed. Great app!

Great app.... This app is great for quick shots and doses of His word. It would be nice to have the New Age Version as an option under type of Bible. I'd like to post some of these verses, but the King James Version tends to "frighten" off my friends with "weaker bonds to God", if you know what mean. The NAV is more conversational and less intimidating.

Love it!!. Beautiful backgrounds, great scriptures daily, lovely buttons; I love the rounded buttons! I did question why only KJV was used & no options and the developer was quick to respond & very friendly, explaining copyrights. Very happy with the Ap & developer!

Meaningful app. This is a great app for when you need a quick dose of God's word. Never fails to lift me up and inspire. I find the King James version more poetic than modern versions, especially in short readings. Only suggestion would be a way to add notes. Thanks!

Christian walk. This great on so many levels. Apply it to your everyday life, and I'm a witness it will help you in your bible study, encouraging others, lift you spirits. If you can't find time to study the bible, this helps.

Great app. This app is very pretty and well done and I love the verses that they post on there and then I'm able to share them with others I recommend this app if you want to get and share encouragement every day from God's word!

Simply amazing. It's just want it's needed in the morning or whatever time, really changes your mood and way of thinking! A beautiful and wonderful app to own!

Bible Verses. I Love This App. It is very useful for learning and storing your Favorite Verses. Put in Favorites and you can always go right to them. I did't give it a five star yet because I cannot Find a way to back up to a verse you accidentally skipped.

Awesome app. Absolutely the fact that I can pull up a random verse at anytime without Internet connection. Important for a busy and on-the-go person like me who wants to feed on the word.

Great App!. This is a fantastic app. Does what the desciption says it does and performs well. The ads are insignificant when compared to the messages that the verses convey. Best part is that it's free and easy to use! God bless everyone!

Alright app. This app is alright. Love the pretty background. I use this app every day. My only complaint is that it allows you to mark favorite verses, but there is no way to retrieve the verses you marked as favorites. So why even have the button? Wouldn't pay money for it, glad it's free.

Highly recommend. This is an awesome apt. Extremely beautiful pictures spot lighting a scripture from God's word. There is a feature to set up reminder to take a moment to read God's word and add on's are available. I would recommend this apt. God bless!

Great app. Daily verses pop up at noon and it amazes me how verse is so accurate to what's going on that day or in my life! Not a coincidence folks :) only negative is should add more short verses and not just happy. As Christians it's important to know the wrath of the scripture as well. Thanks for this app!

Amazing. Although the app doesn't har all the bible verses it still has the best inspirational and helpful verses you will ever find in a app that just has the verses and not the whole bible! Again so great and would recommend it to anyone!

Sister in Christ. Always hungry for the Word, but sometimes the time or place is limited. These tiny bites of scripture are just right for a quick pick-me-up. A little encouragement, comfort and reminder that He is with us always.

So so. Straight up app that works as advertised, but it has two draw backs: 1) Obscure verses taken from the middle of a narrative that makes an inspirational verse kind of odd; for example, Acts 16:8. 2) Not really a true verse of the day since everytime you open the app it is a different verse; would be nice if I could reopen the app throughout the day and have the same verse until the next day.

A lil help.... So amazing! I was searching for a way to help my son who had just recently come back from Afghanistan. i started sending a verse a day to him and have seen a huge difference in his attitude. thank you for providing this free app. Recommend to all.

The Word. I thinks it's a blessing to get such encouraging and uplifting scriptures on the daily keep doing the work of The Lord never stop and it feel good to get empowering messages from the word of God it makes me feel good inside and helps me to remember that God has everything in control

Other options. Would like to have the option for version with more modern day language. King James is hard to read.
