Great, fun little app just in time for the holidays. It's not a large app, but it doesn't need to be. It's fun just as it is and is exactly as described. I like that you can change the pitch of the Jingle Bell set. Fun app that's great in season and makes pretty sounds. The bell sounds were done nicely. All in all, I was satisfied with the purchase as the app delivered exactly what it said it would deliver.

Loved it. A friend plays handbells, so I had to get it. Great sound and I like how you can play along to the Christmas songs. My 5-year-old is totally mesmerized with it. On the next upgrade, it would be cool if it played a song to you.

Love it!. I wasn't going to buy it but I'm glad I did. It's become my favorite app. I would like some songs that play automatically. Also I hope some non-holiday songs are added for year round fun.

Silent bells. I heard a friend use this app and really liked it. But the bells do not ring on my iPad 2. :(. UPDATE: thank you Support for getting back with me in a matter of hours and helping me to get thie app to work for me! I love the app. It would be even better if there were some "auto-play," but it is great fun as ia.

Love this app!. I've had it for a couple of years, and the update made it even better! Looks great, sounds great, plays smoothly - no lags or glitches, and the developer just added new songs. Quality app that always make me feel cheery and geared up for the holidays.

App for a Merry Christmas!. The essence of holiday spirit! The jingling bells evoke visions of Santa, and the magic of the season. The handbells remind me oh so pleasantly to give to the Salvation Army ( okay, my fave animal charity!). And tapping out old familiar Christmas carols just puts a big goofy smile on my face. I LOVE THIS APP!!! One of the best presents I've ever had, I thank the makers every single time I open it!!!!

Delightfully Awesome!. This app offers a fun and interactive Christmas musical experience. If your 5 or 55 years old, one will become enchanted by the ability to ring bells to their special Christmas song. I find myself with my earphones on playing my favorites as I stand in line or traveling. I am often asked about this wonderful app and have enjoyed delightful conversations as they too enjoy playing this app. I've offered my phone to fussy young ones with the bells as they shake the phone and watch their face light up with not only the sound of the bells but that the bells respond to their movement. Download now and have fun.

Holiday Favorite!. My whole family uses this throughout the year but especially around the holidays. Best app by far. I've had this app since my first iPhone. Look forward to any updates to the latest iOS.

A lot of fun. The artwork is really nice, the colors are bright, the sounds are very clear and it is a lot of fun. Get one for yourself and one for a friend and play dueling I-phones.

Great App!. Seasonably timely to be sure, but I use it to practice my bell parts for Bell Choir! My grandchildren love that Gramma can play Jingle Bells, and my music director loves that I can prepare ahead of rehearsals. Thanks for one great app!!!

Oh, what fun!. The app is a delightful way to easily get the “hang” of note values. It’s a fun experience all the way ‘round. Mrs. Santa gives it four and a half chocolate chip cookies!

So Cute and Charming!. I fell on love with these bells right from the start. The sound is very good and its fun to follow the snowflakes and play Christmas songs yourself! Simple entertainment but fun. But Please add more songs!

Best App EVER! 🔔. I have had this app on my phone for more than 10 years, and I still play with it every Christmas. I’m trying to teach my 95-year-old neighbor how to use her iPhone, and yesterday I gifted her this app. As I showed her how to use it, her eyes lit up! I’ve never seen anyone so excited about anything! She can’t wait to show it to her family! It was such a hit that I gifted it to another neighbor, a single father with a 7-year-old boy. I know they’ll have fun playing the songs. Thank you to the developer for such an outstanding, flawless app. I’ve never encountered any problems, and it’s so well-designed and user-friendly— even for kids and older people!

Simply delightful!!. Not only is it a lovely application that you can just explore and have fun with, but you could also actually use it for family gatherings or special events that are needing something special... and when bells like these may not be available to those that are trying to make these sounds a beautiful reality! not kidding, great app. Holiday bells is the best bell app on the App Store. What a delight to see that there is a handbell set. By the way, I am happy to see that there are 15 bells in the handbell set. Jingle bells, no prob atall. A single handbell, not a problem at all. There is one thing that I need to tell you guys. I am a voice over user. So when I get on the handbell set tab, or more tab on the app, then I experience crashing. but I am so not giving up on this app.

Description Unclear. Description made it sound like the sounds would play in iMessage— which is what I bought it for. The emojis have no sound , or it’s not clear how to activate the sound. I want my money back. I don’t want/need an iPhone app that plays bells and music. I can do that other ways. Bah humbug.

It's starting to sound and look a lot like Christmas!. What a cool app. This latest update even includes holiday iMessage stickers. Wow!

Handbell fanatic. Great app! I play beels and love being able to bring them along everywhere. I highly agree with the two comments about there being an auto play feature and including the song Carol of the Bells. Yes, a no brainer! Good tone, lots of fun!

Nice Sound. Sometimes the simplest things are the sweetest. The clear tones of the bells when you play the songs are lovely.

Great App!. Plan to use it tonight (Christmas Eve) to do random ringing on the last verse of "Joy to the World." For those of us who REALLY ARE handbell ringers, though, I'd love to see a version with sharps and flats--and maybe three octaves. If I had my ultimate wish list, the ability to do marts and to damp (stop the sound of individual bells) would also be great. Then you could have an Iphone handbell choir!

Super. I am zero musically inclined and love this as I can actually play a tune. I, kiddingly of course say I want to do a special music rendition at church since I can now make music. I have played it in the car as there I have a captive audience. It's just a lot of fun and I was thrilled to see I got 4 new songs with the update. THANKS!

Fun. Definitely a fun app. Would be nice if you had different bell sounds to choose from. I think it would also be cool if there was background music playing during the songs.

Pretty Good. So glad it has the chromatics, and the range is more than a single octave. You can play anything you want, not just a few prescribed tunes, Tone quality is good, too. The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars is that the range is fixed. I want to slide it up or down to change the upper and lower pitches.

Great App. I enjoy this app, but since the last update you cannot adjust the volume. I would like to be able to play them quieter.

Bells. Awesome app. It is cheery and I love the sounds. It just makes a person feel good. My grandkids love this app I have had it two years and never get tired of playing it!

Great music selection. Fun!. This has got to be the most pleasant app I own. The bells sound great, it's easy to play, has the lyrics to the wide selection of songs. Couldn't be happier with this app. Well done. Merry Christmas!

A Ringing Endorsement!. This app does exactly what I'd hoped, letting me play cool-sounding bells to make my own music or accompanying the included classical holiday tunes. I appreciate that it let me ring more than one bell at a time (I could ring at least six at once on my iPad), and it sounded exactly like I'd expect a bunch of bells ringing at the same time. I wish there was an option to see which note each bell was playing, since that'd make it easier to play my own tunes, but that's a minor quibble that doesn't detract from the package. (B)ring in some joyful noise for your holidays!

kids and adults love playing the bells!. I took this to an elementary school to amuse the kids on the last day before Xmas...all grades loved it, and the teachers were equally enchanted (and it is hard to enchant a teacher the week before Xmas). Everyone smiles when using it.

Label the bells!. Please label the bells to make it easier to identify the notes.

Handbells Duration. Very nice app. It's creative and pleasant. But the handbell ends too abruptly. I understand that it's a file which must complete at some point, but the handbell is naturally long tone, and if you adjust it's length to give it a deeper fade into silence, the app will be even more beautiful. Do that and it's a 5.

Really good but.... I would love to have the bells labeled with their note names so that you can play your own music more easily. Love the sound and general function. It would also be nice to have another octave to choose from.

Holiday spirits. The app itself is pretty basic just 3 holiday bell images and when you shake the iPhone, it plays the bell tones. But I have to say it does bring the holiday spirits to us. In general it's a fun app.

No better Christmas cheer. This app is so much fun and sounds so great. Multiple modes make it even better. Sleigh bells are wonderful and the hand bells are such a nice touch. You won't go wrong with this app.

Awesome. Having a lot of fun with this one on my three iPads, two iPhones and iPod. One thing...the iPad screen stays on, locked indefinitely. The iPhone and iPod screens lock if you dont use a bell for awhile. Is there a way you can lock these "in app" rather than through the device settings?

Awesome App!. Sounds great and works as advertised. One request: would love if the range was extended to two octaves and half-steps were added!

Fantastic. . This is my favorite holiday bells app. It sounds beautiful, and it sustains, not like the other holiday bell apps that don't. DEFINETLY worth the $0.99. Trust me. You won't regret it.  and have a merry christmas and a happy new year . ______. 

Really fun app!. I enjoyed this app last year when I first bought it, but it is even better now that you've added the chromatic notes because now it is possible to play many more songs. I also like the addition of the snowflakes that show you how to play the songs listed. Great update!!

ipad rotate for song doesn't work. this feature is not working

Bells need to be louder. I enjoyed using this app, but the bell volume is too low. Melody Bells, a somewhat similar app, is substantially louder, so I assume that it's possible to increase the volume. I hope an update will solve the problem.

Stress Relief!. Love this app! When I am feeling a bit stressed at any time of the year I just play a song on this app and instantly I feel better! Thank you!!

Good app. I'd give it a 5 if when playing a song the next note after the one you're playing would light up in some way so you knew where the next note was going to be. It would make for a less staccato sounding song. Otherwise a good app.

Great fun. The bells sound great. It's fun to play along as the app shows you which bells to ring to make the melody. It would be nice if you could ring the bells louder or quieter according to how hard you shake your iPhone, and also if you could ring them faster.

Lots of fun for all ages. Have played in a handbell choir for many years, so I was very excited to find this app. Had it first on my phone and entertained the choir with it. We have enough users in our choir to find a way to use them in a performance! My grandkids like becoming ringers, too, and the addition of Christmas music was a brilliant idea.

Lyrics off beat. The printed lyrics highlight one beat later than the note they go with. Otherwise an ok app.

Nice sound but poor graphics. Bells sound great for playing songs, but the bells on the edges of the screen are only half there on the iPad air retina display.

Where's Carol Of The Bells?. This app is fun on the iPhone, but the main song I downloaded it to play (Carol Of The Bells) was not included. Please add this song to the next version.
