Ok. I want to learn Czech sometime-not one word per day

Agree with nothing else. Each day it says there is another word and I go to the app there is no new word it stopped at 71 what is wrong I had this downloaded on my new iPod and went to lost previous word bank because I had to download from losing my last iPod and that's when It stopped from going on and stopped at 71 if you could fix this I would very much appreciate it that you would

Update= no sound. I used to like this app. One word a day was better than none, right? Since the update, I cannot hear the word being spoken, causing this app to be useless for me since I do not know anyone that speaks Czech.

Very good. Love learning the Czech language. So many useful words and phrases... Can't go wrong with this app

Has potential. All nouns in Czech should be accompanied by their gender. Learning the noun without the gender doesn't get you very far. Some of the definitions given have multiple meanings in English. These should be clarified.

FINALLY. this was the only free app that i found with an easy to use, relevant and comprehensive method of teaching. i wanted something with a picture, the czech spelling, and an audio pronunciation of words i would use while traveling in the czech republic. this app was perfect. now i just have to keep studying...

It helps. I am studying and listening well to get better at Czech.

Ok as a brief intro. This program does what it says - delivers a word everyday. However, the words can seem rather abstract and sometimes the audio just seems off. Because it is one of the few apps that offers audio it's a keeper.

Helpful as a support. Czech would indeed be very difficult one word at a time. And, since the grammar is extensive, one might question the offer one word per day. However, the pronunciation sounds "native" enough though the vocabulary is a bit superfluous.

Not even worth the download!. Yeah go ahead and buy the full package and after just slap yourself. It's a completely waste of money.

So far so good. Starting with basics. Nice they have audio samples. Hopefully I can learn a lot more before my trip

Nothing was there, except. ONE word "niece" No pronouncement, No previous word. No next word. There was NOTHING else in this program. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!

Great!. Easy to use. Starting off small and building vocabulary. The voice recordings are great! If I could rate higher I would! :D

Variety and scope. This ap provides a variety of useful words and phrases. I especially like the feature that allows you to record and play back your own voice saying the words. It is nice to hear and compare oneself to the native speaker. I also like the word of the day. Best Czech language ap I have found.

Pretty random, sparse. The daily delivery of a word keeps me coming back which I like, but the word choice has been really bizarre. Like "minibus" = "minibus". There's a days word wasted. Do I really need to know the word for coathanger or doorway when there are so many words that would be really useful to know. This would get 5 stars from me if you used the word of a day in a sentence and taught the sentence structure. Wow, that would be real progress learning every day. The audio is sometimes really bad, often illegible, and only saying the first of two words sometimes, with no explanation of why there are two words for "spicy" - when would you use each? After gathering up a large word bank, the app got in a state where it would say "please wait" on startup. This would go on indefinitely and eventually I gave up, wiped the app and reloaded. Of course, I lost my word bank. Rrrr.
