Good app. There aren't a lot of Swedish language apps, but this one is fantastic.

Losser of a program!. Words have been stupid! Not words anyone would often use. Keeps trying to get me to order full version. You think I am going to take a chance on paying 9.99 when this is the awful example you give me? Deleted and found better for $0.99. Shame on you for trying to rip people off!

Awesome!. Very helpful and is working out great for me.i enjoy the flash cards a lot and the word of the day is cool.

Great for beginner. Very easy and convenient. I'm just starting to learn Swedish and this app is great for the beginner. Also great cuz it has sound (though wish the speakers would pronounce a little slower sometimes).

Not worth it. probably a good app except for the fact that almost all the functionality is only available with the paid version.....I had it loaded long enough to figure out it was lacking decent functionality without paying for it.

Not good. If you want to learn basic Swedish this isn’t the app. There are very few words and phrases and the app is complicated to navigate and there are pop ups.

Nice Swedish app. This language app is pretty good. The best part is using each Swedish word in multiple sentences that are also spoken by real Swedes. That is the best way to teach a new language. It shows you how to use the word and how to say it plus you learn additional words. Adding many more Swedish words would make it even better.

Love it. Great app. It is very easy to use and to learn from. Very helpful for anyone wanting to learn Swedish.

Great app for expanding vocabulary!. ... But this is a SWEDISH app, will you please fix the flag? Otherwise, one of my best Swedish apps I have, powerful tools and great at expanding my vocab, and getting ever better at sounding like a Swede.

Be better if audio worked. It use to be a great app especially the word of the day but now the audio for all new words doesn't work.

Awesome Swedish App!. This app offers a lot of vocabulary and also shows the structure of sentences with vocabulary in them. I love that there's a word of the day everyday because it helps you slowly take in the language. I'd recommend this app to anyone wanting to get a start in the Swedish language.

Awesome. I don't have any vocab memorized but I don't get to use it. I like starting my morning reviewing my word book and practicing

Fickle. I'd consider buying the full app but the crew behind the Swedish version seem like they come in and skim by with the bare minimum because only about 10% of the time do they do the phrases, 40% picture, 50% audio example, and 10% of the time "new" is the Swedish translation of words. Also they don't indicate if the word is "en" or "ett". Is the full version so fickle?

Don't do it!. Ever since they provided an update you cannot hear any words! They eliminated the audio with the updated version!! Isn't that the point of the app is to hear how the word is properly annunciated? Then they give you a word like Email or Asian...gee I wonder what the English translation would be???? Ridiculous!!! Also more than 90% of all words do not have phrases or sentences to hear how they are used. How hard can it be to add a sentence or two with each word! Don't expect to be fluent with this app, but a way to build up your vocabulary if you are willing to use Google or the internet to hear and know more about the word for the day.

Sweet Swedish. I like it so far. Every time I open it it asks me to rate it. I decided to just do it so it would stop asking.

its okay. this thing isnt as helpful as you think. it gives you vocab but you dont get to learn how to use it most of the time. plus not all words have pictures and the new update deleted all audio so you dont get to hear the pronunciation. the only thing ive really learned is the phrase "jag aer" because i cant tell the parts of speech for other words. googles more helpful honestly

Swedish girl love. For school we did a nationality day report and this app helped me soo much but I don't understand why others don't like it it is awesome and I got a good grade and know more about my nationality the bad reviews are just nothing to me I honestly think this is amazing app

Tusen Tack!. Parents were both born in Sweden and as a child I grew up amongst Swedes, and managed to pick up some Svensk here and there. Now as an adult - a senior citizen - much of it is coming back to me and I find it heartwarming to remember all those dear people I miss from my past. Further, I began working on my family tree and been able to go back many generations as well as connect with relatives in Sweden. They correspond in English and I do so in Swedish. Love this program - tusen tack!

Use it everyday!. Simple and effective. I liked the old version better, less complicated.

Problem with noun cases. In Swedish there are 2 cases and on this app they are mostly wrong!

Great Starter. It's s great starter because it's slowly introducing you to the Swedish language, with just one word a day. The voice of the person saying the words is very clear & easy to understand (& it's a males voice which I think is nice, I really like it). Also it's fun, easy & a great way to learn a new language. I'm definitely going to upgrade from this free one to the $10 one. I think it's well worth it & want to continue learning. One word a day is too slow for me. The more I learn the closer I feel to Sweden & my love for the beautiful people and country only grows. I want to go so bad (thanks for listening to me rambling).

Very good. I like your app. But one thing is missing. If you could only add a quiz section. Its really important to test our swedish after learning new words and sentences. I need the quiz to help me memorize and improve what i've learned. Its important. Thank you.

Great app. Love the word of the day feature and example sentences

ICloud syncing is awful. There is so little data to synchronize and it can take 5 minutes regardless of the bandwidth of your wifi connection. And if your phone sleeps while it's syncing it can be difficult to wake up....you make me sit and watch it, continually tapping the screen to keep it awake, so I have plenty of time to curse how stupid and frustrating it is to use.

Helpful app on the go, reinforcing learning.. This has been a nifty review tool or when I'm unable to take my other Swedish learning tools with me. The app has improved and grown since I've had it the past 3 years. :)

Not letting me download?. I had tried to download this before, but I didn't have enough space so I cleaned up my phone and tried again. It keeps saying that I already purchased the app and it will download with no charge but then it cancels the download. Am I doing something wrong?

Pretty good. Pretty good, flash cards and layout are great. But when using/practicing with 100% Swedish relatives of mine they tell me the dialect is wrong, which is difficult to fix when I pronounce the words or phrases the exact way they are represented from the app.

Horrible. It only gave me one word. I would rather listen to classical music then use this app. Waste of time! I recommend the full version. I bet it has more that one word. MAYBE TWO!:0

Fun but not too terribly useful. You get a new word every day but if you fail to look at it within 24 hours or fail to add it to your word bank you can't see it ever again. Some of the words are just English words with an accent and it could be better by using more obscure words that would be harder to learn without help. I like it none the less and it's educational. I use it nearly every day.

Needs improvement!. Used to be good but it takes forever to synch. To the point where it’s almost useless. Also, Paid for upgrade and when I reinstalled I was back to square one. Too bad, since native speakers are very helpful.

Great App!. Very informative and useful app for those wanting to learn Swedish. Few words inside the study courses -> foods and Drinks needs to be corrected for their correct translation but otherwise a great app..!

Nej bra 😞. The app took forever to download, the display of the app is crowded (I mean that it's overwhelming to look at), and it said to unlock the full version you need to spend $5 really? You say free, take forever to download, give me the beginning level and then say I have to pay $5?!

Svenska. This is by far the best application on iTunes.I use it every day and now even my fioncee' is beginning to learn Swedish!

Great since the Lite is free.... Not a great way to learn a new language, but when I was with my Swedish friend, we'd discuss the new words that came up and at least it spurned conversation. However, he was confused as to why some obscure words came up/ words or phrases I would probably never use!! One needs the basics before this too, which I don't really have.,,

meh. It's okay, but very simple. Not for people looking for anything advanced. I wouldn't pay 10$ for unlocking more words and phrases I already learnt on my own.

Great. Great for learning basic vocabulary, and expanding your knowledge to a basic level of understanding of the Swedish language.

I would love it if they'd fix this. Love it the rare time that I see it. The problem is that if I don't happen to be at the phone, no reminder remains for when I return. And it remains on screen so briefly - can you leave it open until the user closes it? It's too bad as I like it as a way to learn a language.
