I'm 14 and I am learning this for a girl 😍. Okay so there's this foreign exchange student she's amazing beautiful hot accent and barely speaks English so I'm not the funniest or most attractive or smartest 😕 but I'm trying my best to learn so I can at least impress her and hope she will be impressed 😂 and ask her to homecoming but I have a hard time saying it right and she can't understand me so yeah um but can you make it to where it has more conversations or wanna go to homecoming with me 😂

Awesome. This is a great way to learn some basic things in Ukrainian! I'm using this with some students who are from the Ukraine. It has a very understandable voice! Worth the money!

Great app (works for iPod too). I purchased this app to prepare for business travel to Ukraine. The cyrillic alphabet has always been a mystery to me (yes, I know I should work on that) but with this app that's no problem. Pronunciation is provided audibly by a real (not computer generated) native voice and in phonetic english and the dreaded cyrillic as well. Working with this app alone, I received many nice compliments on my Ukrainian. I liked it so much that I purchased the version for Russian (not all Ukrainians speak Ukrainian) and... just for the heck of it... the French version as well. I'm hoping that at some point the developers will also make additional "word packs" available as they do for Russian and French.

Mrs. Dyakuyu !!! Already I feel like I can speak to my family in Ukraine without feeling badly about having been born outside of the country of my dad . Being a proud American and having assimilated into this culture I had totally put my Ukraine roots aside . Great Program!. Very helpful tool for learning the basics. We have a child coming over from Ukraine and needed to learn some basic phrases. We tried several different programs but this is the one everyone in our family agreed was the most helpful and easiest to use.

Works. This app is awesome my wife is ukranian and I've lived with her and her two best friends for two years and all I learned was the bad words haha but this app is great to learn the simple words

Well designed with great audio tool. I've downloaded a number of "learn Ukrainian" apps but this one is the most useful for me as a very beginner. Here are my 3 reasons: (1) In addition to isolated words, this app presents phrases - a much better way to learn a language. I do wish there were pictures also. 2) Perhaps most useful and unique is the option to slow down the audio pronunciation. (3) The option to include or omit phonetics. All in all, a very well designed language app.

Very handy, could be awesome. I just spent 10 days in Kyiv and Vynnitsia and loved having this app. Super handy for simple communication. After a couple days training, I could say hello, good bye, please, and thank you. A few more days and I would have been able to say "Hello (correctly for the time of day). I don't speak Ukranian. Do you speak English?" The people of Ukraine are so friendly and hospitable. They always went out of their way for me and my family. For this I am grateful. One wish: the ability to star phrases and get back to the favorite phrases quickly. I found myself regulary needing about 10 phrases, but could not find them quickly as they were scattered among "communication", "numbers", "eating out", "greetings". It sometimes took me a awhile to find the phrase a second or third time. Search is useful, but I would often search for the wrong terms... Is it "bill" or "check" that I should type to find the phrase for "please bring me the check"? Ok, one more: "where is the toilet" would have been handy. Sure, saying "toilet" works, but is so much more crude than using a whole phrase. Oh, an alphabet pronunciation guide and I could have left the Lonely Planet phrase book at home. Overall a great app.

Loving This, Very Helpful. Currently I am trying to learn Ukrainian so that I may be able to speak it when I go there and visit family in Ukraine. I love this app so far. It helps me understand phrases and words that you’d hear every day. I just bought the app a couple of days ago and I am very satisfied and very happy. To me it was the most productive $4.00 I’ve spent on ITunes. I love how it pronounces it to you as well as showing you how it’s pronounced, so you can get a better understanding of how things are said. One thing I would like to added however would be relationships/ affiliation such mother, father, brother, sister, cousin, aunts and uncles. In addition maybe some commonly used verbs such as “walking”, like walking to the store. Or talking, such as “I am talking with Sergei right now”. One last final bit that I would like to see in there would be contrasting words such as polite and impolite, hungry and full, tall and short, etc. I feel that adding these in would better help others and me carrying on more diverse conversations in Ukrainian. Thank you guys again! You guys rock!

Pass by the others-get this!. I wasted my time and good money buying another app for $10 and it had nothing but errors. The best part about this application is that if you press-and-hold down the word or phrase, it is recited slowly.

A life saver. I just spent 2 months in Ukraine and this app was wonderful. More phrases would be great though! A simple guide on sentence structure, an alphabet that shows how each Ukrainian letter is pronounced, and maybe a link to a translator would make this app the best translator app in the world! Keep up the good work!

Best Ukrainian language learner ever!!!. This app is the best app ive ever downloaded. It tells you all the need to know phrases and some. This app has the only easy to understand explanation of the Ukrainian alphabet. I've searched high and low and could never find an easy to understand Ukrainian alphabet. But this certainly has one. I had the free version for a while but decided to upgrade to pro, and was not dissapointed in the slightest. If I could rate it 6stars I would.

GIS_guy. This app rocks! It's straight forward and easy to use, and best of all, unlike the generic translator programs, has english pronunciations as well the cryilic. I work with several kids from the Ukrain and don't know anything about the crylic alphabet, but with this app, it makes it easy to make an attempt to speak to them in Ukrainian. For later upgrades, the only suggestion I would ask for would be a "Favorites" or "Frequently Used" catagory. Where you could add copies of 5 or 10 of your own most frequently used phrases or words. This is one of those apps that deserve a 5+.

Great!. I use this to try and learn ukrainian so I can talk to my fiancés parents. ( they don't understand English) soo please WORDS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! You'd guys be PERFECT if u could just say every word in the dictionary!

great app. fun, fast way to pick up some basic phrases. It would be great if they made a more advanced version to somehow help learn grammar and how endings change etc.

Great app.. I'm having fun with this app. I knew a few Ukrainian words having a had a Ukrainian grandmother. She would be proud that I've learned a lot more with the help of the app. :) hoping for an update with more words and phrases.

Essential. Very clearly and cleanly organized. Great pronounciation help. And all around quite complete without being overwhelming. It even has a search function that delivers just what you’re trying to say and then you can say it yourself or have the pleasant soul ding woman say it for you. I highly recommend this app and I tried quite a few. This is my go to app for learning and speaking Ukrainian here in Ukraine.

I love Speakeasy!. This is my third app I've bought from them. They are the best out there (and trust me, I've downloaded them ALL... Memrise is the only one close to comparing.) They inspire me to learn even more languages! Please make a Swedish one :) Also.. Small little error.. In the Russian app when the user clicks on "other languages" the phrase "the Ukraine" is used.

Why did I not find this earlier?. This app is awesome i swear I wish I'd found it earlier. Very helpful for me I need to absorb my girlfriends culture and language because like the other guy said I will need to be able to converse with her parents and friends.

Greatest app to study Ukrainian phrases. The application has organize Ukrainian phrases in sensible categories. I can tap on each phrase and hear the pronunciation. What is more interesting is that tapping and holding on the phrase would result slow pronunciation, which helps me a great deal picking up the details of the language.

Great абб. Great app for speaking ukrainain my Baba speaks perfect Ukrainian and said this app is very acurate I will use it when I travel to the Ukraine. I love the fact that it is offline and that it has the native speaker for those tricky words all in all this is a great star app only problem is that it doesn't have a web suported translation for phrases that aren't in the phrase book if it had that it would be a 22абб this app is not it is ™
