Complete Congress. Really enjoyed the Rudimentary version of Congress, but have since moved up to CongressPro. Why not thoroughly Enjoy the Most Comprehensive and Informative Congressional App on the Market, Today ? This App gives you a constantly Updated record of Committees, their Members, their Activities, etc., as well as updated info on All Congressional Members. Well worth the Price ! ( I had problems updating At first, to the 113th Congress, but found a recommended Solution: Delete your App and download again, following Instructions. You will not be charged twice for the same App ).

Excellent App. I've been using CongressPro for about 4 months now - and it truly is indispensable. I often click thru the members profiles to figure out who I need to be talking to on the Hill. I'm not a lobbyist, but this app is great for fundraisers and activists alike.

Best App if Dealing With Congress. This is a terrific App! In fact, if you work with Congress, this is a must have App. As a Government Relations professional working in Washington, DC, I have used this App for years on my iPhone and my iPad, and it is worth every penny! I really like it. It is user-friendly and helpful. This App is comparable to many online subscription services that cost hundreds of dollars. The Cohen Research Group works diligently to keep this app current and relevant. When I had questions and corresponded with the team, I was always impressed how quickly I heard back and had my question answered thoroughly, in a friendly manner. Michael is a pro.

COMPLETE AND CYNICAL RIP OFF. For $30 this app should be a virtual phone book that is updated constantly. It is the most expensive app I've ever purchased. It is completely wrong on such basic information as Chief of Staff for many members, and there is absolutely no information committee staff and very little information about office staff. I really regret buying this app and recommend that no one else buy this at all. This app is an absolute disgrace.

Citizen Lobbiest. Had the chance to use this app this week. Very impressive. Easy to use. Location and contact details of each Senator and Congressperson along with information on the committees they sit on. If you want to arrange an appointment through the scheduler or legislative aide you tap their name or position and their e-mail address appears on your e-mail template. An invaluable tool.

Best ever customer service and app. Just got off the phone with Mike because I was having some issues with updates- he called me back within a 24 hour Period. He walked me through my issue and corrected it all with a manner of minutes. This app is a wealth of information needed for those that work in Washington DC or those that may be interested in contacting their Member of Congress. There are tons of extras under the more section, making it even more worthwhile to have this app.

Couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wrote an email to the Cohen Research Group and was extremely please to receive a reply within minutes with the answer to my question. I’ve used their apps for a very long time and have not been disappointed.

Don't buy this app. I just bought this app for $9.99 just to find out that to keep it up to date it will cost you $.99 a month F$&@ me!!! I just download a free one instead. Lesson learn

Involved with politics? You NEED this App.. I know many in the political arena are just now switching from RIM/Blackberry to iPhone; while the depth of Apps is not *quite* there yet for you to manage a campaign (or a war) from the iPhone, it's getting close. Congress Pro is where you start. It's a full guide to The Hill: complete with staff contacts, committee assignments, and links to web archives for instant referencing of campaign financing or voting records. The amount of information here is simply staggering... you will use this on an hourly basis. This program is just point-blank outstanding. Simply put, *anyone/everyone* in the political arena needs this App: from K-Street lobbyists to community organizers to the actual staffers and aides who work for our senators and representatives. It wouldn't surprise me if a few of the more tech-savvy legislators themselves have Congress Pro (maybe Mr. Obama, for all I know). The true value of Congress Pro (vs Congress+) is in the updates. The legislative branch is an ever-shifting beast and knowing exact who is in what seat (and making sure you get the names of their staffers correct) is slightly important. Bottom line and brass tacks: this program is worth several times its asking price. Congrats on buying an iPhone. This is your next purchase.

Great resource. I've used this app for several years. It's well-designed, is easy to use, and quickly gives me the information I need. Congressional staffs are always changing, and this app gives me updates all the time. In my experience, the author is very responsive, and clearly cares about the performance of the app. Highly recommended!

Uber Lobbyist. I have been using Congress Pro for a few years. It is the best source for quick access to Member and staff contact info. I have found a few errors and omissions. Each time i hit the contact us button and got an immediate response from the developer. The mistakes were always fixed quickly. For example, on Tuesday this week I reported that I could not find Ayotte on the app. I got a response within an hour. Turned out it was server issue and it took two days to fix but Cohen kept me updated on progress. This thing works.

Very Useful Tool. As a Government Legislative Liaison this App has been very helpful in providing the right information at the right time. The team accepts feedback and provides timely communication to any inquiries for help. The few times I had more up to date info than the app, I shared it and saw an update within 24 hours.

Tremendous Resouce. CongressPro is awesome -- an easy to use, current, reliable guide to Congress. I had a download issue and sent a help request from the app. The CEO of the company responded within minutes and answered my question. Anyone who deals in federal politics, lobbying or government needs this app.

Location. What happened to the location section?

application support. I experienced some issues installing and getting the application to load. Fortunately I was able to talk with a live person who talked me through the issues. Customer response time, support and service was excellent!

If you work for Congress, a lobbyist, or the media, this app is for you!. I work for Congress and this app has quickly become my most useful app during the work day. I've had it for several months now. The $29 version is definitely worth the price, as you will get constant updates as legislative staff change. You can view the Senate and House sides seperately and look through all the committees and subcommittes. Listings have been, in my experience, quite accurate. You get what you pay for with this app and I've been very happy with my purchase.

Must Have and Saves Trees. This App is invaluable if you work with Congress. I have been using it since release and it is worth every penny. It fully replaces the print directory that Congress insists on continuing to print! Avoid killing more waste and adding to wasteful government........

Congress Pro is one of the most effective tools for Congress, as all of the pertinent information about a member of Congress AND their staff is right at your fingertips. It’s updated regularly. And, if you need technical support, a real person (the owner) calls you back. This is one of the best values among Apple apps.

Relevant info easily. This app lets you find what you need fast. You can quickly know what earmarks your reps sponsored, for example. Easy to use and intuitive layout. Loaded with info.

Great App with excellent and fast support!. I have used all three versions of this App since it appeared. Useful, accurate, current and their support is immediate and effective. It gets my highest recommendation.

If your a professional, you better have this on in YOUR pocket!. I have been using the Congress + application for quite a while and I am upgrading. Super application that everyone in the business should use! As the premier and largest tri-national advocacy organization in the US dealing with legitimate cross-border trade, travel, and security, it is my business to stay informed of the issues the the people I need to work with in order to advance our agenda.

Fabulous app!. CongressPro is worth every penny. It has a vast wealth of information for anyone who is interested in the workings of Congress, whether they are active in government or just want to know what's going on (which we all should). I contacted the developer about a problem that I was having..which was my problem and not a fault of the app..and Mike got right back to me several times until I fixed it, and even offered to have me call him to talk it over. A lot of thought and care went into this app and it shows. Every iPhone should have this app! If you don't have it yet, get it. This is what iPhones are made for.

An Outstanding, Must-Have Resource. I have over 15 years of government relations experience, and I’ve seen many different solutions for engaging with Congress. Most of them lackluster and painfully expensive. This resource is phenomenal for anyone needing to interface with congressional staff seamlessly. Also tremendously helpful for tracking legislation and election cycles. A must have - 5 stars all day!

117th update problems. Fantastic app, thank you to the tram who built it. Sadly, when I click “update” in the App Store or on my subscription page or inside the app, it won’t update to the 117th Congress. In the app, updating does nothing, other than to tell me my subscription will renew a month from now. In the App Store, clicking “update” appears to download something quickly, then starts over, the second tome downloading a larger file. The update repeatedly stops at about 60%. App Store app stops the download and the button reverts to “update”. What do we need to do to update to the new Congress?

Invaluable Resource I Use Every Day. As someone who works in public policy, mostly with Congress, it is essential to have access to well organized, up to date information about Members, their staffs, Committee assignments and other important data. Congress Pro has been an invaluable part of my toolkit for years. They are incredible pro-active when it comes to updating info. I use this incredible tool all day every day. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Excellent support, great app.... Had trouble updating the app for the 113th Congress. Followed the directions, sent an email, received a response and had the problem resolved inside of 15 minutes. Outstanding customer service. Excellent must have app for anyone working the Hill!!

Most valuable lobbying tool. Great application and fabulous service. They answer every email, and most helpful team at the Cohen group.

Very Good A. As a user of this app from nearly day one I used it successfully on the Hill. If I found a change of personnel they were responsive to make the change. Over time it became an excellent tool for individuals as most congressional and Whitehouse information for an individual, small firm or small nonprofit is very expensive. Today it is a very worthy tool. If the enterprise app was available for $10 a month would be well worth it. Even the 10 person program is bargain.

Not responsive and nothing changes in updates. I am from New Hampshire and for the sense the last major update, one f my senators (Sen. Kelly Ayotte) is not there anymore. For weeks now, I have tried to get in contact with the creators of this app, I have written other reviews, comments an so on, and I have gotten nowhere. I'm very upset that I spent some money on this app and to not have full information. I'm not sure who else is missing, but I'm sure there's more. This app does have good information, I just wish it had all of the information if you're going to pay the amount of money for this app.

Great Product. I've had a great experience with this app. Easy to use and handy. If ever there was a bug or problem, I just have reached out and received a response ASAP. Most of the time it is user error, but they take feedback well. Non-DC friends have been equally impressed and downloaded a version as well. Thanks!

Perfect affordable lobbying tool. Why pay hundreds of dollars for a service that ciyp can provide for a pittance, on your mobile phone, wih regular updates? As a professional lobbyist, I love this app!

Great app, well designed layout, efficient, sufficient, and accessible with voiceover. This app is indispensable for me. I use it for member info, and committee lists. Of course The basics like a brief biography and bill sponsor and cosponsor information is also available. It has enough detail to be useful, and it is very efficiently designed which is very useful when you need information fast. What makes the app stand out is the technical and information support. Michael Cohen has always responded immediately to any requests or corrections that I have offered. I don’t know of many other apps that I use that have support that is so quick and responsive. And for those who care about accessibility, it works very well with voiceover.

Excellent Congressional Directory. The Best

Great app. This is an awesome app for anyone who wants to know everything about 535 members of congress. It is extremely usable and useful. Despite some App Store hurdles and convoluted updates, the Cohen research has been VERY responsive to my questions and concerns. This is well worth the money.

Great App. This app is so convenient, organized well and is kept up to date. When I send an update it is responded to quickly.

App Update Not Working. Just updated app to the newest version. Tried making the in-app purchase for the 114th Congress, but the 'buy' button did nothing. Went to the Upgrades section, but it said that no upgrades were available for purchase, despite what was stated in the most recent app update.

Great Reference and Customer Support. This is without a doubt the ‘best in class’ reference app for the US Congress. The subscription model is needed to maintain the staff required to keep up with such a large bureaucracy, and the updates come frequently. I had a question and got a very quick and personal response which explained my issue fully. I withheld a coveted 5th star only because I believe this app has the potential to become a powerful communication tool allowing users to create messages for entire groups of congressional representatives and their staff members. I would like to see enhancements that would make maintenance of ‘personal’ mail lists for politicians obsolete. Cheers to the 116th Congress.

Misleading charges. Buyer beware! I purchased this app for $9.99. When opening the app, I chose "use old version". The app wouldn't work. After communicating with the developer, it became clear that you MUST ALSO purchase a subscription for the app to work. This was not communicated. "Subscribe for Updates" is misleading. More accurate would be "Monthly subscription fees also required for app to function".

Good App, but. It’s a good app but does not work on Apple Watch 7. Please fix! It worked well with my prior SE Watch. Fix this and I’ll give it 5 stars.

Terrific App!. An absolutely essential app with great customer support! I’m not a professional lobbyist, but I spend a lot of time on the Hill as a volunteer advocate for my union on safety issues. Congress Pro has a wealth of information available with just a few clicks. During a busy week, we may visit 14 offices each day and I certainly can’t remember every detail. I’ve developed a routine just before each visit using this app: Check the district map, review the Member’s Bio, review the Member’s Committee assignments, click on their Twitter feed to see what’s important to them right now. With this two-minute routine, I can tailor our message to the Member’s interests. As for customer support – just today I was updating to the newest version and had a question on the subscription process (new from my older version). I sent an email using the support link and within a few minutes Dr. Cohen (app developer) emailed me and then personally called me to ensure that I was “good to go”. Now that’s customer support! I really like the new “Committees” feature – many times our issues fall under the jurisdiction of several different Committees. With one click we can see which Members and staff are the “key players” for meeting requests. Whether you’re a pro or a citizen advocate, this app will definitely help you navigate the Hill!

Very Helpful Tool. I've used the CongressPro app on both my iPhone and iPad, as have several colleagues. It's one of the best quick-reference guides (facebook) to Congress you're ever likely to find. Unlike the bulky hardcopies we used to carry, this is convenient and up-to-date. It includes all the information you would expect, including senior staff and committee info, as well as several handy links to external resources. I had some problems upgrading to the 113th Congress version, but when I contacted the developer, Cohen Research Group, by email they responded very quickly and provided all the information I needed to get back on track (had to delete and reinstall, but it was painless and works without problem now). A colleague independently called and immediately received the same helpful assistance. They really seem to care about fixing problems and taking care of customers. I highly recommend for anyone working in the government/policy arena.

My go to app for staff and member info. I’ve been using this app for 5 years now. It is constantly updated and this worth every penny. The beauty is it’s quick, easy and accurate. I literally use it every day.

Fabulous Congressional Resource!!. I have been using CongressPro since it hit the market, and I love it. Timely, comprehensive and invaluable for this non-profit volunteer Rare Disease Advocate. The info is accurate, changes I report are updated quickly, their staff is very responsive to inquiries and the cost is affordable. 5-Star recommendation without reservation. I do wish they would add “Health Care Legislative Assistants” to the Member’s staff listings!!! Looking forward to Version 12.5 with the new 116th Congress!

Best tool for reaching out to legislators. This is an indispensable tool for obtaining good and up to date contact information for our congressional representatives.

Update held up by Apple. Just emailed Congress Pro about the lack of a 115th Congress update. Received a response directly from Michael Cohen 12 minutes after I sent my inquiry. Cohen told me that Congress Pro update is delayed by Apple. Offered to send me an email when the update was released. Frustrated by the delay, but pleased with the responsiveness of Dr. Cohen.

Great App and Customer Service. I love that so much information is in my pocket. It is always with me, versus a book, and it reduces the use of paper. The app provides a lot of information about the members that you can use to help connect to them on their level. In addition, the owner, Michael Cohen, is super responsive and very helpful. It is really refreshing. He welcomes ideas and helps problem shoot. Thank you Michael for your help and for this great app!

Not as advertised. The site is not kept up to date as advertised. Subcommittee Members who were named months ago are listed as not yet available. I found the info with one Google search that did not cost me $29.95. The app also fails to list Committee and Subcommittee staffers, which it could easily do and for this outrageous price should do. Unless they upgrade this, save your money and go online.

Hello, I hope I can buy into my wI app &. It will show all my wI voting locations, all my official electoral people's running, even in my city, county to state. Where they stand on topics & maybe the agenda that he or she maybe striving towards. Another form here is like an honesty bill & direction. 4*.

Don't buy. Waste of money.. This app is a huge waste of money and time. It does nothing. Needed this app to help lobby, but it doesn't help with a dang thing.

Rip off. For 11.99 I expect it to be current. It's not. For example, shows Kay Hagan D-NC. She lost to Tillis. Don't bother with this app

No info for current Congress. Frustrating. There's a banner at the top that says tap here to get info for the 115th Congress. But tapping does nothing. So, this is useless.

Not updated why is this being offered??. Useless unless it is updated. Doesn’t have current membership let alone committee composition.

Oustanding. I work in Washington and use this app almost daily. It's thorough, up-to-date and easy to use. I cannot say enough good things about it.

No committee staffer info. As far as I can tell, the $30 version of this app doesn't have committee phone numbers, committee staffer info, or congressional support staff info. So, it's way inferior to a printed congressional guide, and way inferior to bookmarking Congress.org. For $30, I expected better.

An excellent public service!. Packed with data, easy to use and regularly updated. Members, committees, biographies, staff, contact telephone numbers, links to congress.gov for all legislative activity and much more - even floor plans of the Congressional office buildings. If you want to navigate Congress, this will be your go-to application.

Crashing. Newest update crashes app.

The best version so far. Having worked on The Hill and as Congressional Liaison for the Executive Branch, as well as developing legislative strategy for non profits, the Pro version is well worth the 30 bucks. I have seen complaints that the staff telephone numbers are not listed and while I sympathize, as a former staffer I would have been appalled if my number were so widely publicized. It would have been simply impossible to actually get any work done for the American people. What the complainers fail to note is that email addresses are available, the Members main office number that will put you through to the staffer is listed and there is a note taking feature in the Pro version that allows for numerous uses. Links are provided for OpenSecrets and other watchdog web sites, in addition to information on introduced legislation, bills that the Member has cosponsored, Member and staff travel agendas & costs, staff salaries, as well as additional information resources. If you work with the Congress or want factual information about what a Member or Senator is saying or doing, this app is for you. In fact there are three different versions which all have their positives depending on the level of information that you need as well as your budget. Another extremely important piece of information that needs to be shared is the excellent customer support. I have had all three versions but started out on an original iPhone and the first edition. While I haven't needed to contact support that I need more than one hand to count in all of that time, I cannot remember ever waiting even a full 24 hours before I had been contacted and whatever issue I had was either resolved or well on its' way to be taken care of. If you need or want to deal with our Congress, this is the app for you.

Beware...the cost is more than double. This is a strong app, but read the fine print. The $9.99 purchase price does not get you the current Congress. You have to also buy a $.99/month subscription which makes the first year cost of this app $21.87.

High hopes, not impressed. The Bad: First of all, forcing a *new* customer to make a $.99 in-app purchase to get the info for the current, 113th Congress is absurd. If you're buying the app after Jan 3, 2013 of course you want the current Congress -- why would anyone want the 112th?? Also, some of the committee assignments are not entirely up-to-date. For $21 and a product aimed at government relations professionals, I would have expected accurate committee info. Found one or two broken links to committee pages, when following from a Rep of Sen. The district maps are the terrible nationalatlas.gov ones; a better option would have been to use outlines in the native mapping app or google maps. The "Jobs" feature under "More..." is great if you're looking for work in 2011; it hasn't been updated since then. The Good: I like the link to Thomas. Staff information appears accurate. I like the Notes feature. Wish list: Would be nice if all the members' caucuses were listed alongside sponsored legislation and committees.

Information is out of date. Based upon the write up by the creators of this app, and my wish to contact my representatives in the 115th Congress, I just now paid $11.99 for the Pro version of this app. The information stated that the updates come out every few days in order to keep everything very current. So I just paid full price for last year's listing. I have new representatives and they are not listed. What a waste. I see the most recent information was updated mid 2016. No help at all. I didn't read the fine print. Don't buy this app. Use your browser and find the information on the internet for free.
