Best Most Advanced Timer I found. I really appreciate what this timer is capable of and the efficiency it adds to my day. It has really helped me out with a lot and you can customize so many settings to make sure it all fits and works for you

Great job!! Few suggestions... This is a great example of how the app rating system can ruin someones hard work. No app can run in the background. None. This developer did the absolute best he could with the restriction of the sdk. It works while phone is locked AND the timer keeps track even when the app is quit. One person complained that they wish they knew about the built in clock before they bough this. So... Whose fault is that? Another said they were giving 4 stars Instead of 5 for whatever reason but clicked 2 stars by mistake. Cmon. This app is great and dies EXACTLY what it says. Few requests: 1) I use this for getting my kids out the door. I'd love a settable warning option ie choose the time and sound. Like "at X minutes play X sound." 2) Its possible to miss the alarm sound if you're not near the clock. Maybe it could go until turned off manually?? Great job. People please be careful with your reviews. Remember that others' livlihoods are often in the balance.

Only 99 Cents?!. This is a great application if you need to have a countdown timer within seconds. It does waht it says it does, and you can choose a lot of sounds when its done! Please don't write reveiws for apps you haven't downloaded.

Very good app, avoid the update to 2.0. Timer is one of my main apps, I use it on a daily basis and have been able to configure it exactly the way I want it to work. The update to 2.0 has some issues and I ended up going back to 1.x. First off, I really don't like updates where the user settings get whacked, and unfortunately this will happen when updating to 2.0. Also, the "avoid screen dim" and "avoid screen lock" functions no longer work, and these are fairly critcal to my use of

Wonderful application (v3.1). Love the new Preset feature that lets you easily save and switch between different timing programs. One request to the developer: it would be nice to have the ability to define events as time intervals and then have the ability to rearrange their order as needed. Currently all events are defined relative to the same absolute start time and when you have a lot of events, it becomes difficult to keep track. Thank you for the great work!

Timer with detailed features. There is a learning curve to more complicated timer programming . However it is so much more than a standard kitchen timer it does a varierty of specific timers. I use mine for circuit training at two and three minute intervals I would like the icon to be a little more respectable and there should be more variety of loud sounds that can be heard over music Thanks for a great app

Good Timer. Have used timer for several years now. Program has evolved over time, and now is quite versatile. You can customize every aspect of the timers, saving multiple configurations for specific situations. But it can be simple as well if you don't want all those complications. I really don't use anything else as a timer.

Flexible app, some notifications don't work with iOS 5. I love the flexibility of this timer -- I use it to track uneven intervals for running (e.g., 4 minutes on, 1 minute off). It's difficult to set up but can be figures out if you're persistent. However, some of the alarm settings -- specifically, vibrate notifications that can be felt through a case during exercise -- do not work when the screen is locked (manual or automatic). There are workarounds, but they are battery-expensive. Would love to see this fixed!

great. works, interface good

Great and simple. A great timer. Simple and easy to use. I like the fact that the timing display goes full screen when started which makes it easy to see at a short distance if you have your hands full. I wish it had multiple timers that you could save for different activities without having to rest the timer for each different event.

What About the Events???. Thought it was worth a buck to get an app that had the "events" ability this one says it does--beep every ten seconds during the last minute of the timer, etc. HOWEVER, once I bought it, found out there ARE NO EVENTS! Lame. Just lame. The screenshots in the app store show "events," but the (correct) screenshots on their website don't have it... that's a problem.

Works very nicely. I need a timer for the gym--I do a wide variety of exercises and also time my rest periods. I've tried about seven different free apps, and they all come up short (as does Apple's). This one is the answer to my search. It works great and the interface is very clean. And anyone hatin the tic-toc...just chill out and read the directions.

Best I have found. Great timer.

Physical therapy options. This app is the closest that I can get to what I need. Plus it's easy to use. Thanks. But I need to do redundant exercises like 10 times for 10 seconds each. It would be perfect if I could set the number of times the timer loops. It drives me crazy tracking the exercises. There are probably a huge amount of people doing physical therapy that would love that aid.

A little more than I wanted in a timer. First, let me say that it's a good app and it's perfect for a person that uses timers in their daily life regularly. However, I must stay that I purchased this particular timer app because it was a full function app after you pay the premium price. After I did that, I found so much more and actually more than what I needed. I wanted a simple timer that I could configure for stretching that would repeat itself and that was adjustable on the fly. I have not figured on how to do this. It should not be this difficult. A helpful example on how to do this would be beneficial. Just because you understand how to do something does not mean that everyone else does. Lastly, it's a good app but a little much if you are an occasional timer user. Tschuss

Wonderful timer. Able to create a timer for a complicated meditation such as Ammachi's IAM (Integrated Amma Meditation). Exactly what I wanted. I could not find any other timer with this flexibilty. I give it only 4 stars because the interface and thus its use could be simpler. And I wish the volume of some of the alarm tones could be made louder.

Timer App. I really like this app but it has closed several times unexpectedly while I was programming and it looses the work I have done. It doesn't seem stable. Eventually after several frustrating tries I can get it to work but only due to my patience. I even saved my work once and the program dropped out loosing the work I had previously saved. That was truly upsetting... I still give it three stars as it does what I want in the end but the instability needs to be fixed and it needs to truly save your work.

Does what I need it to do.... The app is worth the .99 charged. It does what I was looking for. I wasn't looking for multiple timers or annual event countdowns...so, it filled the bill. One problem I did notice is that, as I was listening to an audiobook, then activated the timer, upon timer completion and when it played its completion alarm, it attenuated the audiobook (which is fine); however, once completed with the alarm, the attenuation of the audiobook (and I imagine music too) was not released. I tried closing the music player, changing volume, closing the timer, and many other things with no success. Finally I rebooted the iPod touch and started up the music player to listen to my audiobook. That worked, and I was no longer in the attenuated audo mode caused by the timer alarm. It is a small bug, but needs fixing.

Half Missing. I have been using this TImer for a year, with daily frustration. There are basically two ways to use it: Single Event or Loop. I use it in loop fashion, so I can time my exercises. During the first time period, the numbers are large and clear. When it repeats, however, the numbers change to small, dark blue numerals on a black background. WHY?! The point of a Repeat function is to allow you to do the same timing all over again, without having to stop and reset the timer. The unreadable numerals defeat the purpose. There are no settings to change this glaring error. I also found that on the Timer Support site, there is no place to write in for support that I could find! So, here is my public outcry. PLEASE change the numerals to be the same, large and readable, with each loop of the timer.

Love it. Using it to teach myself to pay attention to 1min 30 sec increments while studying for a standardized test. The timer sounds only once and moves onto the next rep. So I can focus on what I'm doing across the room, not re-starting the alarm. Down side: wish it did more than 30 reps.

Just what I wanted. This timer is simple and does just what I needed. I wanted it to replace a small digital timer I carried (and often lost) to time exercises. It works as I wanted with no oddities. The irritating tick, tick reported by others is off by default in this version.

No sound on iPad. Like the other reviewer said, the are no sounds on the iPad. Yes, volume is up and mute is off. App can be set to flash at end of countdown, but will no longer maintain full screen timer. Significant if using repeating countdown. Other than that, app is great. Unlike other timers, this app can handle less than a minute (5 sec minimum) and can do automatic repeating timers.

Perfect timer ap. If you are looking for a single timer, easy to use and you can change the alarm to something not blaring, then this timer is for you. I have tried a number of timer aps, both free and paid... Up to the $2.99 ones and this timer is clearly the best for my purposes.

Good but speed buttons would make it great. This app has improved over time and is a good timer. The recent adding of presets was a good move. The problem is that shifting between presets requires five taps before the next preset is running. I'd like that reduced to one tap by adding four speed buttons to thr screen. One tap of a speed button stops the current timer and starts the next. For people like me that are constantly switching between presets this would be wonderful.

Great! Hoping for ios4 backgrounding update. The built in timer sounds through my iPod touch's speakers even if I have headphones plugged in. I needed a timer that would sound through my headphones instead; this one does that. I also like the fact that it keeps counting after the timer goes off, until you click ok, so that you can see how long ago time was up. A simple app that does what it does well. If you leave the app, it will continue running in the background, and show the proper time when you come back to it. However, it hasn't been updated for ios4 yet, so if the time is up before you switch back to the app, you won't hear the alarm until you open the app again. I'll add a fifth star if they update it so that you can hear the alarm while it's backgrounded in ios4.

Great for Spartacus workout. With the cycle workout requiring 1:00 of fast exercise, :15 of rest then go again, I didn't want an app I had to keep looking at or hitting buttons. This is perfect as I have programmed three different sounds at three different times through that cycle - which means I never have to look at the phone. Great work!!

Fantastic!!!. I love everything on it and since I'm greedy I would like to ask for the ability to display a message (even in locked screen) in the loop mode as a reminder of a mantra during the day. I have an app for that but this is sooo much better. Looooove the sounds also the easiness of setting. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Simple to use, does exactly what I want. All I was looking for was a simple timer that would softly notify me when a predetermined time period had elapsed. This app allows me to set a continuous period with no sound as an option and a soft gong option as an alarm at the end. The soft gong on this app is very pleasant and the only pleasant sounding alarm I've been able to find on ANY app - even the ones specifically for meditation. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because all the other sound options are somewhat abrasive and annoying.

Almost Perfect.... I've been a happy user of this timer app ever since Alton Brown used it on an episode of /Good Eats/. I've owned an iPad for about three days now, and I've spent a tidy few dollars repurchasing many applications so they would look nice on my new techno-fetish object. I was delighted to find out that this one, one of the least expensive ($0.99!), didn't require repurchase because it was already universal! Awesome! So--why only four stars? Well, the iPad version doesn't do the one thing that I most wanted from the iPhone version: in a timer app, I want a landscape-mode screen that is, simply, VERY LARGE NUMBERS THAT COUNT DOWN. And Timer (iPad) doesn't do this. You have the old iPhone-sized numbers in the left third of the screen, and all the options on the right two-thirds of the page. That was disappointing; I hope this is fixed in a subsequent release.

Great app:-) Only needs 3 more things!. I think this app is one of the best timer apps in the whole app store. I just think that it needs the OS 4 comparability, just like they said. It also needs the ability to run multiple timers at once, as well as have the ability to start a certain timer at a certain time. As soon as this app gets updated to do at least 2 of these 3 things, (I'd love if it could do all 3 :-) this app will be rated FIVE STARS. But anyways, I still love this app!!!!!!!!! :-) :-D

Decent. This app mostly does what it should. Interface could be slightly better, for instance with an indication whether it's counting up or down. Right now if I hold up the timer to a speaker at a lecture he has to watch a few seconds to see whether it's counting up or down.

Useful though complicated. Using for scheduling/timing activities for a classroom. Would like to backup info (took long time to set up) and share presets with others who have app. Would be nice if name of timed segment would stay visible if you exit and then return to app. Also, editing from presets would be helpful, rather than having to load, edit, resave and delete prior version.

My likes on the Timer app. I give this app a 5 out of 5 stars because I've been using it since me and my mom have started on a diet and exercising, we both use the timer to count how long we walk on the treadmill. I know this sounds like my personal business but I love expressing myself to new people. I love the app!!

Love the looping timer functionality. This is definitely my go-to timer.

Perfect For Teachers!. Finally! I looked forever for a timer app which would COUNT UP and then STOP with an alarm after the selected period of time had elapsed. Fantastic! Thank you for making this app! This is an extremely versatile timer. It counts up, counts down, lots of different alarms and stopping options, multiple timers, etc, with a big display. I primarily use it in my classroom when giving timed math facts tests, but the app can be used for any timed speed test. I start it and, using a document camera and a digital projector, zoom in on my iPhone and put the display up for the students to see. When they're done they simply write their time on the papers. Very easy and very cool! Super useful!

Decent potential but unreliable. I purchased this app specifically for circuit training. The timer was set to 35 seconds. Iteration one timer did not sound. Several times during the next 30 iterations the timer would randomly change the time. One second it would be at maybe 9 seconds, then it would change to 23 seconds. I will be looking for a different timer ASAP.

Nicely done with one caveat. This timer is very useful and more functional than the built in timer, for sure. The only problem is that when you use the flashing screen for the timer notification (which doesn't need to be as big as it is) you don't have the negative timer counting down from zero after you have reached zero. This definitely needs to be fixed because this negative readout is a nice feature. I was kind in not reducing it one more star for the goofy splash screen that is not needed. This is a professionally done piece of software other than the splash screen making it feel like a toy. Eliminate the splash screen please.

Best Timer Out There!. This is exactally the type of timer I've been searching for since the app store came online. So far this is the only timer that will let you pause and then resume a countdown! Very important to me and what made me buy it. It also has a lot of other nice bells and whistles. More than worth the money.

Awesome background timer. It's an awesome timer because it's the only one I've found that runs safely with Backgrouder even when iPhone is locked :) It would be perfect if it'd automatically disable sound while taking a call, and if I could also choose my own custom sound and have multiple timers running concurrently.

Nice work. I've been surprised at how few useable countdown timers there are in the app store. This one has the features I need for yoga and meditation. A countdown timer with repete functionality. I wonder wether there is a way for a future version to allow me to use my own sounds? Also a ready timer would be a welcome addition. This would countdown once and then the second timer would loop. Great Timer. I enjoy how everything is visible on one screen. All the options, the countdown, and the settings. Also the countdown is unique in how one scrolls down to find the wanted time. And when it is completed, it will start counting up in overtime. Well done, certainly worth it. has everything I need and nowhere as expensive as those others on the app store that only come with fancy appearances. Certainly worth using when cooking and scheduling on a tight time allowance.

Excellent App. I don't normally do reviews, but I had to make an exception in this instance. Timer is easily the most useful and versatile app I've ever purchased. It takes some time to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, you are really able to set timers that notify you in basically whatever order or manner you like. I am using it to study for the Bar Exam!

Updated review 1/9/10: great app. With the most recent update, it shows this developer listens to customers and is constantly improving. Programming your own events is such a great feature and separates this app from the pack. I agree with the other reviewer that for the next update, would be great to be able to have different configurations that can be saved. I also haven't tested the dim setting so I don't know if that's a bug for me as well. So for now, 5 stars well deserved for this app.

Great app!. I love that I can set audio beeps at each minute. I do long hold yoga and this helps me know my progress without needing to look at the app. It’s also great for HIIT workouts to let me know when to switch exercises without needing to watch the timer!

Almost perfect for me. This is a great little timer app. I love the events (even though they made events an "in app" purchase). They're very useful for letting you know things like 1/2 way done, 1 min to go, etc. What would make this perfect would be the ability to run multiple timers at once. There's a competetive app that offers that feature, but not events. Hoping for multiple timers in the next update.

Great app but you need to have Settings right. This is a beautiful app with many options. Many of us will just want to use it as a kitchen timer so that an alarm goes off at the end of a given time. This is very easy to do, but you need to setup the app correctly. The main thing is to have the app in the Notification center. This is done by going to the iPad Settings menu, selecting Notifications. If the Timer app is not in the Notification Center, then select Timer and turn on the Notification Center. Set Sounds to ON. This should have the desired effect. The alarm will now go on even if Timer is in the background (that is, you are in another app, like browsing the web). You may want to change the alarm from the default "Cooking timer" (try "High Danger"). This is done in the Settings menu for the Timer app. You do need the iPad sound to be on. I often turn off the sound on the iPad and then there will not be a sound. You will get a message at the screen, but this may not be the desired effect.

Highly recommended!. I love this app! I use it while doing Chinese standing Qi Gong exercises. I can set this timer in a loop to ring every 10 minutes and Apple's clock's timer runs at the same time to let me know when my 30 minutes are up. There are many options and sounds to select between for a wide variety of purposes, it is very user friendly, and the timer is dependable to work as I expect it to. I highly recommend this app.

Excellent App. I use this app for a rather elaborate stroke recovery process. The app has a multitude of options. It can be either simple or complicated to set up, depending on what your purpose is and how many of those options you want to use. I'd like to have the capability for the app to "randomly select from playlist" as one of the alarm possibilities. Overall, a very sophisticated, customizable app.

Overly complex and confusing interface. All I want to do is program a timer with a title and end-of-time ring tone. This sort of does that but it has so many features that are so poorly described that you don't know how it's supposed to work. Furthermore, I paid extra to save my settings for specific timer tasks but it keeps asking me to "load preset - are you sure" and then it erases my programmed task! This is the kind of lame programming that I wish to avoid - despite paying extra I'm going to delete it from my phone. A total waste.

Not what i was looking. But hey let me spend $aud2.50 to find out, the stars are associated with the fact that they charge 2.50 for a timer and then have an in app purchase of 2.50 if you want to change your presets, this seems pretty fundamental and therefore this app is a rip off.

Will do a lot but too complicated. I deleted the app in the end. It does great things but it is not intuitive to set up, the layout is confusing and the features contradict or cross over each other. It took way way too long to set up a moderately complex routine. Developer very responsive, but app interface has not improved.

Great App!. I had previously written a review indicating there were features needed (vibrate alert) yet I must take that back. This app is perfect - I had mistakingly not turned the vibrate on in my general settings. Great work on this app - it's EXACTLY what I needed!

Great for Pecha Kucha Presentations. I bought this app because I had to deliver a Pecha Kucha presentation to an audience about my iPhone app "Video Edit". A Pecha Kucha presentation automatically advances your slide every 20 seconds without your control and so the pressure to stay on time is intense. Timer worked great for providing me with a looping 20 second countdown to let me know how much time I had left before my slide would automatically change. Without it, I would definitely have gone over my time limit. Looking forward to trying out some of the more advanced features of the app too. Highly recommend it!

So far, no sound alerts. Just bought this app and, right now, I can't get any sound, flash or vibration notices to work. Don't know if it's a bug, but I've written to the maker to inquire about what the issue might be. Until then, YMMV. UPDATE: Problem solved. It was my own fault. My hardware button for sound was turned off and I didn't realize it. In fact, the app seems to work as advertised. So far, it's worth your dollar.

Très bien!. Très personnalisable, on peut lui faire afficher les messages-texte qu'on veut, au moment où on le veut, ce qui le rend très versatile, et non pas adapté principalement au domaine sportif, comme la grande majorité des applications de ce type! On apprécie de pouvoir faire apparaître des comptes et décomptes sous forme numérique ou graphique (bargraph ou pointes de tarte). Par contre, j'aurais aimé que plusieurs timers puissent être "empilables" les uns sur les autres, mais ce n'est malheureusement pas possible. Tous les messages qu'on veut faire apparaître doivent être définis au sein d'un même timer. Juste un peu laborieux à exploiter dans les détails, mais en vaut définitivement la peine!

Exactly what I needed in the gym!. This app was exactly what I was looking for to work with my interval & callisthenics training at the gym.. Simple to use and easy to customize to get it exactly how you want it. Awesome app!

Great timer. Does what is supposed to do as well as expected!

Perfect!. Simple to use, nothing extra - exactly what I wanted! It will be used in many applications from cooking to games night!

Vibrate. Tried several. Like this one. Would love if there were more vibrate options - triple etc. Vibrate is noticeable for phone calls but not for this yet.

No sound. No sound at all

No sound on ipod touch. I tried different notification sounds. No sound either in headphones or internal speaker (I would prefer the beep like the builtin timer has). I just want a timer that loops, and beeps when the interval hits. I've tried several now (some not free like this one) and I can't find a simple solution to this problem.

Versatile!. Useful for many applications.

Perfect for keeping presenters on track. I wanted a timer to be clearly visible to conference presenters. This has a full screen display unlike most of the other iPad timer apps. It's easy to see and includes a lot of options for letting them know when their time is running short and when to stop. If this had been written for me I doubt I'd have changed a thing. Nice job.

Timer. L'ajout des secondes et la capacité de boucler en font un remplacement nécessaire au minuteur le base de l'iPod Touch. Cependant, depuis l'installation de Timer, il arrive que le contrôle du volume soit bloqué sur l'iPod et que je doive "rebooter" pour y remédier. Perfect timer app. As a board meeting secretary, this app is great for me: simple, has plenty of options such as: not making any sounds when the timer ends, displaying the remaining time in big numbers in landscape, and !!especially!! an T- upcounter in red! Great app.

Good overall!!!. But, if the timer can show the Remaining time of the event currently running, it will solve the purpose better. Why does it has to display the total time remaining so big. Showing Remaining time of the current event is a lot useful. Plzz make changes or give an extra option.....

Excellent timing app. This is exactly the kind of app I needed, since the clock app that comes with the iPod only goes down as far as 1 minute. You can stop the tic tock noise. It's under Settings-->Events-->Every second.

Best timer app, bar none. No other timer is as feature rich, yet focuses on the timer itself being full screen and readable. The best.

Like it. I like it. Economical. It might lack on features and nicer looking interface that more expensive apps might have. Well worth the price.

Timers. Having multiple timers which can run simultaneously is a nice feature. Set up is a little confusing, but with a little time it runs well. It would be nice if the alarm sounded longer with maybe a second ring if the timer is not stopped.

BAIT and SWITCH! (kinda). The true value features have to be purchased for nearly twice the price of initial purchase. The total is only three bucks. But TELL US THAT on the first line, NOT the LAST! It's a bargain at full price if it all works. But I'll never find out because I dont reward snivelly tactics - at any price.

Exellent timer!. The only thing that could improve is to eliminate the interval of when the alarm sounds.

This would be 5 stars if. it kept looping the timer even when you leave the app. Want to use it to keep track throughout the day of when the bus gets to my college and it comes every 10 minutes.

Ugh. The countdown clicking sound drives me crazy- so does the half-way mark alarm: do not want. I only want to hear something when time is up. I can't believe there's no option to shut it up. I instantly went and found another timer app and deleted this one.

Very nice timer. Love everything about it but I can't get any sound from it. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and every other app produces sound except this one.

Works, but buggy and complex. This timer works, but it has crashed, frozen, and/or fainted on me several times now while configuring events. There are a lot of features and powerful configuration settings to customize, yet the downside is it is almost like a scripting language and thus not intuitive to configure. Add the crashing bit and I can't recommend this.

Nice Work and Worth It. If you need a real timer that does seconds and has a lot of nice options there is noplace else where you can spend $0.99 to better effect. That price plus another $4.00 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Fantastic!. With all the updates, they've given me every function I've been hoping for in a timer! The presets and events sequences are the most important to know.

I use this app EVERY DAY. I bought this app after I saw it on GoodEats. I have used it on my iPhone and iPad EVERY DAY since I downloaded it. I use it when I'm cooking, when I'm baking. This app is reliable, accurate and user friendly. BEST TIMER APP YOU CAN BUY

You already have it..... This application is MUCH nicer than the included one in apple's clock application. However, I wish I would have known about the clock app that was ïńčłūdëd with my iPod. A nice app, but not worth the money when essentially you already have it.

What I think. Tried several & this one was the very best. Easy to use & good work. Just wish the alarm was louder - not the iPhone, that is full volume. Otherwise, I love it.

Great for LSAT. I use the soft bong on a loop to help me learn how to keep pace on the LSAT. Excellent app. One excellent improvement would be an option that allows you to create loops that work on different timing intervals. 4 mins then loops over to 45 then to some other interval - so on and so on.

Works great. Big improvement over IOS timer. I like the 1 second intervals.

Looping timer invaluable. The looping timer has been invaluable for reminding me to drink so I don't dehydrate after surgery.

Works great!. This timer is perfect for the iPad. My daughter sets it to keep track of the amount of time she spends reading.

Wasted A Dollar & Feel Ripped Off. The sales pitch to buy the app states that the app does alot more in the dollar version before unlocking the premium content for 1.99. The dollar version is just a simple time I could have found for free and get multiple timers to boot. I wasted a dollar. For the bait & switch I am not going to give this company any more money to unlock the premium features. I definitely feel ripped off!

Very good. Does what it says it does - like the loop function for continuous timing - choice of many different sound effects

Excellent App. Does exactly what I wanted. I would like to see more than 9 timers available in the next revision though.

Fine timer. Excellent. It's great I can set the Beep for every ten seconds, I use it for my stretching. Does everything I ask of it.

Has great potential but.... Sophisticated and flexible but I found the interface confusing and very little documentation. Clean up the interface to make it speedier to program and give some good tutorials with documentation.

Perfect!. This is exactly what I was looking for! I needed a countdown timer that loops and can be set for seconds. I am a psychologist and will use this when observing kids.

Workout!!. Great for timing tobata workouts! (20 sec on 10 sec off) love being able to go to the gym and do what a personal trainer does: time you!

Great, capable, a few confusing features. Overall, this app is great. I use it mainly for repeating timers, to help me keep focused during cognitively heavy tasks. Some advanced features don't seem to work as expected, or are confusing to set up, but nothing that makes the app unusable. Well worth the price.

5 Star Without A Doubt. Being in karate calls for "bag timing" this is where you spar the bag for so long then take a very small break. How this app works with that: [I want to spar 4 minutes then have a 1minute break.] I set the timer for 5 minutes and use the settings to tell me when there is 1 minute left and make it loop. Just like that I am going 4 minutes and then resting one, repeat till I feel like stopping. Very nice app!

Good countdown timer. Exactly what I need since the built-in timer doesn't allow for events less than one minute. Works like a charm.

best timer on the market!!!. There aren't that many but this timer is by far the best!! I use it for my RC hobby to time flights & races as well as around the houe when needed. Great App!!!

Good App. As others have said it takes a little while to figure out how all the features interact. But I got it set up to implement my Pomodoro technique.

Waste. I bought this app thinking I could set a timer and hear it go off. Nope, not with this one. The sound doesn't work, the interface is jumbled and confusing, and is an overall waste of .99 cents. Granted, the timer itself works great, but since I can't hear when the timer's done it's very hard to use reliably. Very disappointing.

Its ok. This is nice, and cool. The timer still goes even if you go to another application. But one thing you should fix, you should make it so that it'll still go off even if your not on that timer app. Its cool that it still goes off when its locked too ^^

Not what expected. I got this timer for a silent flash alert, but in order for the timer to flash repeatedly, it forces a pop up that blocks >50% of the screen, making the flash hard to see and thus useless. I'm using an iPhone

Nice app. Good little app. Does count downs or count ups and gives you a range of bells or lights to let you know time is up. Intuitive. Easy to understand. Like it because of its simplicity.

BUGGY. I've had lots of trouble with this timer! Used it a long time for timing intervals on my workout. It inexplicably sometimes adds a minute or 2 to the loop! Resetting doesn't help. I wish I never bought it. Been waiting six months for an update that might fix it but none of the udates have done so. I'm finally giving up and getting another one. Don't buy it.

excellent. Would only wish being able to toggle off continues count from time alarm went off.

What About the Events???. Thought it was worth a buck to get an app that had the "events" ability this one says it does--beep every ten seconds during the last minute of the timer, etc. HOWEVER, once I bought it, found out there ARE NO EVENTS! Lame. Just lame. The screenshots in the app store show "events," but the (correct) screenshots on their website don't have it... that's a problem.

Love it!. Great for cooking, working out, and all that, hope this gets added into the next iPhone.

Timer. I have been using this app for more than a month and it has not failed me. It is very versatile, and I like having a timer that measures seconds for me. I am, however, using only a fraction of what it can do.

Does what I need. The timer that comes with the iPhone does not do seconds; this one does. I cheerfully give the developer a well-earned 99 cents to get what I need, and thank him or her.
