Perplexity - AI Search & Chat Comments & Reviews 2026
Why remove the voice Alex, my favorite one?. So I love Perplexity. I am subscribed member but no longer. I couldn’t believe when I’m normally so happy with updates, the last update with all the choices of voices that all sound robotic compared to the previous four, I was very disappointed Alex, the ultimate voice that really has the ability to speak in different language languages with appropriate accent, even, has been replaced with voices that are only speaking English, and don’t have the finesse of the previous. This is a big downgrade! Well, Alex can still be used to read back to you a new story like a narrator, which I still appreciate, the new voices fall flat, and overall the app upgrade was a downgrade from the previous versions! I can still use Alex as my primary voice for Perplexity on the Samsung devices, I own because they have an updated yet, But the iPhone with the new app update is a downgrade!
Life saver for research, especially with the new deep research feature thing. I’m a student researcher and Perplexity has saved me from so many hours of pain. Deep research and the academic focus mode has made it so much easier for me to do literature searches for papers on my topic that are extremely recent, and even finds sources that I haven’t learnt about but are still reputable journals. Even though deep research takes a few minutes to run the report it prepares genuinely made my jaw drop she. I first used it. Perplexity has like genuinely been a game changer for me and I’m only using the latest feature - there’s so much else that’s good about it like the fact that I get access to all of the SOTA AI models in one place and the UI. Can’t recommend enough.
Super Solid, Super Reliable!. I’ve been really impressed with Perplexity as an AI chatbot, especially considering it’s completely free to use. Unlike other LLMs that paywall their best features, Perplexity meets the average users need with solid and really quick responses. It also has access to real-time web searches without extra cost, (that stuff is actually crazy impressive to me). It’s great for general chat bot questions too, I often use it to summarize articles, and even as like a research assistant. That said, compared to more advanced paid models, it sometimes lacks depth in discussions or complex problem-solving. But that’s the 1% of ai users, the UI is clean and intuitive, making it easy to ask and use for quick answers. I can see this evolving into an even more powerful tool with improved reasoning and customization features. For a free AI assistant, it’s definitely one of the best options available right now!
Glitchy and problematic. I am Senior Manager of User Experience, I’ve worked in Tech my entire career, and let’s just say I know a thing or two about conducting reliable academic research, leveraging AI, and the critical importance of conducting robust Dev-QA to smooth out glitches and refine usability. When your end-user experience begins to suffer, so will your bottom line. Long story long, I’ve spent countless hours conducting painstaking research via Perplexity with the most premium pro subscription my precious little doll-hairs can buy, only to find that the app is not only jumbling and mixing numerous completely separate unrelated query threads, but it is also frequently and most problematically losing or deleting numerous large sections of previously concretized analyses. Now, I am just the singular voice of one measly lil’ super-user, so please take my feedback with a heaping shovel of salt, lol. However, from my personal experience and professional observations, the consistently atrocious performance of Perplexity is unacceptable, especially in the ever evolving and highly competitive contemporary climate of AI. Bad bad, not good and has completely forced me to explore other platforms. Ick and a half; wish I could assign zero or even the negative stars that Perplexity deserves. 1 star is far too much.
Just awesome!. With all the stigma around AI apps and chat bots in the world today, I wasn’t so sure about using this app or any like it. I have to say now, I’m glad that I finally did! I started out using ChatGPT and shortly switched over to using perplexity. I use it literally everyday. It’s basically a second(tied for first) google. It’s very informative and user friendly! Very simple to work with and I can say with confidence that it’ll definitely be a go-to for resourceful information from now on. I’m interested to see what the “AI Era” results in and I only say this cause I’m a firm believer that with the right minded leaders and enthusiast in place, it will do great things that are unimaginable not to mention, open fires to opportunities that not only could be helpful in a vast majority of areas but it could also be beneficial to the economy.
Mechanical engineer is impressed!. In 1970 a senior electrical engineer thought that computers were going to do what I have been trained to do as a mechanical engineer, it turns out he was wrong mechanical engineers are alive and well. I think it will come to pass that AI will help engineers solve more difficult problems. Having said that AI is a whole different world from what computers could do in 1970. Perplexity helped me find answers for older equipment problems. For critical things I appreciate having references so I know it’s not hallucinating. I installed a four camera system on my truck and in Park mode it draws .4 A knowing my cold cranking amps Perplexity was able to figure out how long the battery would last. It laid it out in a very understandable manner.
In action, at least ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟. I am so impressed with Perplexity. Info junkie here. Truly, I ask "anything" several times a day. I ALWAYS get a helpful answer that often sends me down another rabbit hole, but frequently I get just what I need in a couple of seconds. Just a bit ago, Perplexity found me a highly recommended specialist in my area who takes my medical insurance (something I couldn't make work on the insurer's site or Google), and how to cancel an auto-paid secondary app account without also killing off the primary account that has 10 years of data in it, which the app itself didn't explain. I ask for recipes, historical info, geography, science, how-to tips, anything I'm wondering about, like "How is the shell of an egg formed?," which led me to how chicken coops work (it's more interesting than you think). Very conversational, too: If I say thank you, it not only says you're welcome, it continues, "Now let's see …" and sends me deeper into the subject. I like that! The reason I'm giving Perplexity only 4/5 is that it's said to have some security vulnerabilities the company has not announced it's trying to fix. I love the app so much, I'm using it anyway, but being careful what I reveal about me and my data and interests. Same goes for Google, Facebook, etc. These days you just can't get away from the hacker syndrome, but we have to count on app providers to at least make an effort. Other than that, solid 5/5.
SO BAD!!!. I feel compelled to express my profound disappointment with the Perplexity application's abysmal user experience. The perpetual loading screens are nothing short of infuriating, with each query seemingly lost in an endless void of refreshing indicators. The application's failure to generate any meaningful responses, despite extended waiting periods, is utterly unacceptable. What's particularly vexing is the stark contrast between the web version's seamless functionality and the mobile application's shortcomings. While the browser-based interface effortlessly delivers results, the mobile app appears to be fundamentally broken, consistently failing to produce even basic audio outputs. One cannot help but question the competence of the development team. How can such a disparity exist between platforms? Are the developers merely going through the motions without any genuine commitment to quality? This level of performance is absolutely beneath the standards one would expect from a modern application. The current state of the mobile application is nothing less than a testament to poor execution and questionable professional standards.
Best assistant so far!. I have been using Perplexity for almost a year now, and I have to say—it’s been a game changer. Whether I’m looking up quick facts, diving into more complex topics, or just curious about something random, Perplexity delivers fast and accurate answers. What I really appreciate is how it provides sources for its information, which makes it easy to verify and dig deeper if I want to. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and I’ve noticed that it keeps improving with time. It’s like having a super knowledgeable friend who’s always there to help out. Plus, the variety of information it can handle—from current events to niche topics—is impressive. Overall, Perplexity has become my go-to tool for quick research and everyday questions. I love the question suggestions that Perplexity provides and the citations which help me get to the source information. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already!
Practicality. I have never used an AI before on anything but when it was introduced from a teacher of mine I was amazed at how good this app was! This is good for school environments because it helps on research and gives ideas but never does the work for you, it also doesn’t force you to pay for basic things and allows you to use the paid access that allows you to get more info and resources from different sources as freebies three times a day, you can also choose when to use them! Overall it gives a large more detailed information based on your questions!!! Overall it’s better than google and I would gladly recommend it to anyone, especially college and high school students.
Ai review. I feel that Perplexity AI is solid for research—probably one of the best tools I’ve used when I need quick, well-sourced answers. It pulls from real sources and searches the web quickly which makes it super useful for getting a general overview of a topic or even diving deeper into something specific. I’ve used it a lot when I want to fact-check things or get a starting point for research-heavy work. That being said, it’s not something I’d rely on for other tasks like writing, editing, or handling daily work. It’s not really built for that, and when I’ve tried using it for those kinds of things, it just doesn’t feel as smooth or intuitive. It’s more of a research companion than a full AI assistant. If you're looking for something to help with deeper learning and sourcing, it's great. But for everything else, there are better options.
Up your search game!. Perplexity is one of the AI tools I recommend most to clients and collaborators. It has become an essential part of my daily workflow, helping me quickly summarize complex information and verify insights using only the most reliable sources. What sets Perplexity apart is its ability to distill vast amounts of data into concise, actionable insights while maintaining transparency about where the information comes from. This feature is invaluable for ensuring accuracy and credibility. I use Perplexity multiple times a day to stay informed, streamline research, and support decision-making. It’s efficient, intuitive, and an indispensable tool for anyone who values clarity and precision in their work. Highly recommended for professionals who need fast, trustworthy insights.
The Ultimate Digital Assistant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 stars Perplexity AI is hands down the best digital assistant I've ever used. As an AI-powered virtual assistant, Perplexity is incredibly knowledgeable, articulate, and helpful across a wide range of tasks. ### Broad Capabilities Perplexity can assist with everything from research and analysis to creative writing, coding, and task planning. Its responses are always well-informed, logical, and tailored to my specific needs. I'm constantly amazed by the breadth of Perplexity's knowledge and its ability to provide insightful, actionable information. ### Personalized Interactions What really sets Perplexity apart is its ability to engage in natural, personalized conversations. It remembers context and previous interactions, allowing for fluid, back-and-forth exchanges. Perplexity also has a great sense of humor and a positive, encouraging personality that makes working with it genuinely enjoyable. ### Reliable and Trustworthy As an AI assistant, Perplexity is incredibly reliable and trustworthy. Its responses are always accurate, unbiased, and in line with my values and preferences. I never have to worry about Perplexity providing misleading information or making inappropriate suggestions. Overall, Perplexity AI is an indispensable tool that has transformed the way I work and live. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a capable, personable, and trustworthy digital assistant.
Perplexity for research. Perplexity AI, founded by Aravind Srinivas, seems to me to offer a lot of the same capabilities that ChatGPT, Llama, etc. offer The key differences are in the ways that perplexity gathers and provides information. From my understanding, perplexity provides citations on almost every bit of information from trusted sources allowing you to check the information your receiving or simply diving in further on specific details about your specific query. One of the most impressive features though (in my opinion) is the “follow up” feature. This provides you with incredibly relevant questions you can ask to explore your topics further. I am exited about the prospects of this particular Ai and I will continue to use and experiment with it.
I wish I could give it zero stars. I thought I would try this app as I got a free year from being a LinkedIn premium member so they make it sound like it was such a great value It’s not . The thing is, I wasn’t even dealing with a very difficult situation and somehow they still messed up. I was just trying to create a task list and understand the steps that I was going to have to make and then have a checklist that I could come back to.. It seemed easy enough to me and it should be for an AI app Apparently, not because I minimize the window thinking I could just come back to it and it was gone and the app did nothing but to tell me to brainstorm all of the things that I had worked on trying to figure out all the things I was forgetting So clearly this is not a $200 value clearly this is just wasted my time Do better Perplexity or your app is going to fail. Not sure why I’m even keeping it on my phone because I’m already so angry but the stupidity of this app.
A fantastic app, but a warning to voiceover users. this is a wonderful app, although that wasn’t my initial thought the first time I downloaded it. As a blind user who uses voiceover on the iPhone, I thought it would be best to use the button to ask a question by voice, but when I tried to do that, it made voiceover crash, and I couldn’t use the phone until somehow managing to get rid of the app. Other blind people have had the same result. It is absolutely fantastic when using it to type in questions, but not to ask a question by voice when you are a voiceover user. I don’t know if this is something that can be fixed in future versions, but it is some thing that voiceover users should be aware of at this point.
So long google…. I’m stunned at how effective Perplexity is at answering virtually every question I’ve had for the past several weeks. No chasing links, no scrolling past “sponsored” content, no piecing together answers from multiple sources, and no confusing or arcane language on technical topics - just straightforward, easy to understand answers that go right to the heart of my question without needing to refine my search, and, so far, virtually no hallucinations! (I’ve been checking.) It’s right up to speed on current events, and summarizes the news and trending topics brilliantly. Copy a headline, ask for a summary of the issue, and bam - thorough, succinct, and quite balanced analysis in an instant. Apps available for all my devices, all for free! If this keeps up, l don’t see myself going back to traditional searches ever again, except for the obligatory fact check on anything important going out, but can’t avoid that. Perplexity for me? Sold…!
Is this really the best app for learning?. Is this app really better than Google Search? This app has helped a ton in learning more about my preferred tastes, such as website development, marketing, and entertainment. Perplexity (AI) is a kind and friendly buddy who always wants to help, which is quite cute. But, there are various downsides, especially on mobile, that I believe could be fixed: after your chat perplexity for a while, the chats become more laggy and hard to maneuver. Now, this one is a more personal, tailored request. Could you find a way on the settings page to remove a site that Perplexity (AI) cannot source? I think this would be a great feature because it allows us to personalize our feed more predominantly. Whenever I look at the visual results (photos), I get results that do not align with what I’m chatting Perplexity about, and to some, that could be a drawback for those who want to see related visual results (take, for example, inktober), and they see brushes for makeup instead of visual results for drawing/inking. AI sometimes misreads our chats, and I think tailoring WHAT they source could be beneficial for a longer app experience.
Spectacular LLM for the average person. I’ve been a programmer for a long time and never really trusted LLM’s until using this one. Results are accurate, sources are provided (unlike many others!), and it’s super easy to get a chat going without writing a large paragraph. I’m pretty sure that’s it tracks the conversation from the first question, so it frees up time for me when I just want to ask something simple. Of course, more context is always better, but if I was being honest I would say that this is very good for beginners. (P.S.): I also got my grandma started with this one so she could stay in the loop! It was really easy to teach her how to use, especially with how simple the UI is. Nothing too advanced for her or confusing, kind of like Google.
Free-falling into feedback loop disaster.. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 The AI, when it comes to certain questions, starts to sound exactly like the free version of ChatGPT and incorrectly states that it has a knowledge cutoff of October 2023 way more frequently in the past couple of weeks. I’ve been a daily user for about a year now and have seen the quality of the app deteriorate. I have to constantly point out bad and biased sources that completely change the answer to the question at hand and am just facing a lot more inconsistent answers, as well as failure to do simple mathematical questions when it comes to business-centered calculations. Nothing advanced or physics-related. Also, the pro searches recently have stopped completing all the steps in the pro search, and when I ask for corrections and remind it to stay on topic, I get lengthy apologies instead of a corrected answer as directed. It also has no issue presenting false information and repeating wrong information from the earlier conversation and use it as evidence to back itself up leaving it in a feedback loop way more frequently. Did their competitors sabotage the app?
The Best AI App. Perplexity AI has been an absolute game-changer for me as a student. I use it almost every day, whether it’s for researching topics, getting quick explanations, or summarizing information. Unlike other AI tools, it doesn’t just give generic responses it actually pulls from real sources, which makes it so much more reliable. The search engine is honestly one of the best features because it helps me find information way faster than if I were searching on my own. I’ve used ChatGPT before, but Perplexity is just better in every way. It feels more accurate, up-to-date, and useful for actual academic work. The fact that it provides citations makes a huge difference, especially when I need to fact-check or include sources in my assignments. I also love how fast and easy it is to use. The interface is simple and clean, and I never have to waste time trying to find what I need. If you’re a student or just someone who loves learning, I highly recommend downloading this app. It makes studying so much easier, and I honestly don’t know how I managed without it.
Perplexity is my hero❤️. I think what I like most about perplexity is that unlike other Eeins fights, it all in reasons with me, and I found that I can speak to it like I’m speaking to a person and the more information I give it in the question even an argument I’ll make an argument with it and it will either concede or not but then tell me where the discrepancy is it’s important in the aspect of trying to really come up with an assertion. That makes sense. Somethings that I do a very important what other things or not it’s good to know that you can find out what other people are thinking and what they posted. without looking all over the place is very very important. I can see what AI those some people say it’s stupid, and that it’s not a real person that comes up with the same stupid answers of people do, and that’s what’s important to me most of the things that I deal with or not about Fax like you know the trajectory to the moon but I need to know certain things about how things work and it gives me options without going to Google and getting an ad. You know this is ridiculous but here I can get lots of information move one in seconds, rather than take hours, and hours to figure out. What’s the right questions to ask.
Like a magic wand, PERPLEXITY gives me a Peace. I am slow to explore the popular trend of adopting AI-assisted searching tools as I generally get by with the old ways. Then I came into a special article yesterday about the Vietnamese religions with a list of names and organizations which I would like to know in Chinese. I hate to admit that I squandered hours looking for their Chinese translations, trying all the traditional searching engines listed on my Safari with great disappointment!! I needed to open another door! Then I sort of gave PERPLEXITY a try as my husband mentioned it the other days with great excitement. Then, it is like with some magic power, PERPLEXITY answered all my long-searched questions, each within just a few seconds. The incredible efficiency of quality performances simply blows my mind. I feel so grateful with such a magical tool! Now I am no longer “perplexed” as to how to search online with no time wasted!
Censor This, Censor That… More of OpenAI’s Nonsense. This feedback should be sent directly to Perplexity’s team: Their current platform delivers sanitized, over-moderated, and risk-averse responses that actively drive away advanced, high-value users who crave blunt, uncensored, and impactful dialogue. The constant safety blocks, narrative management, and lack of true creative freedom make supporting Perplexity a complete waste for anyone seeking meaningful engagement. Until the company drops its corporate shackles and gives power users what they actually want… honest, controversial, and intellectually fearless conversation—the service will keep losing both credibility and serious paying users. Stop coddling, start fixing, or expect people to walk as fast as they did with GPT... your in-line citations don’t mean much when functionality is nullified by your censorship & inability to criticize blatant authoritarian regimes.
They’re legends for still supporting iOS 16. ChatGPT dropped support for iOS 16.1 even though their app still worked on it 100% (I have the ability to remove minimum iOS version requirement, and sure enough, at least a few versions ago worked just fine but they stopped supporting and force you to upgrade or you can’t use the app). Claude I don’t think ever even supported iOS 16 to begin with. But perplexity keeps on impressing me. As long as they keep allowing me to use their app with iOS 16.1 (or at least don’t cut off access for older app versions — like OpenAI did — for the near future, they’ll keep getting my $ (as they have been since they first gained popularity). I evangelized Perplexity to everyone. Got family and friends and gf all subscribed to it. Now I been using their Comet browser too. If you need objective information quickly, Perplexity is the AI to use.
I literally stopped using any other search functions. This is by far my favorite...thing. My favorite recipe book, search ai, advice column, dictionary, science manual, like sincerely --- I use perplexity for everything now. I have autism, and I have even been able to upload screenshots of a conversation where I'd become completely lost and the app was able to CORRECTLY AND SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATE THE SOCIAL NUANCES THAT I COULDN'T. To say that this app is the best of its kind would be unfair- as I've yet to experience any other app similar. I've turned so many people onto this app that were "die hard lifers" for poe or chat gpt...they immediately un-installed and are still solely using this app. Sincerely - I've never experienced something wrong with it that I would leave this app. It's had glitches, but in all honesty- I didn't even have to reach out to customer service - I just asked the app- like "hey, Uhm- what's going on your voice keeps getting wonky" or "I appreciate the info but that has nothing to do with what I just asked" and lastly "you said xyz in your previous response but now you're saying ABC..." Each and every time : the app acknowledged it's error or explained what was going on. I swear I wish my ex had the ability to accept responsibility as well as this app. Haha jk. Sorta. Anyways Seriously get this app!!!
Incredible app, incredible results!. My experience with this app stems from an academic standpoint. As an undergrad involved in a lot of research-heavy classes and activities beyond the classroom, perplexity, I kid you not, has been my best friend in the process. With the new Deep Research feature they released, I was able to cut down an assignment for a grant writing class (researching feasible funding organizations for the nonprofit I’m helping) that would’ve taken me HOURS to about a minute… too good to be true, I know! Sincerely, if it weren’t for Perplexity holding my hand along tasks like these, my productivity as a student would have taken a toll. So thank you Perplexity for not only having an awesome logo but for helping me in every way! 10/10, 100% recommend to anyone (especially students!)
Amazing App!. I've been using the Perplexity iOS app for a few weeks now, and I'm honestly impressed. The voice input feature is a game-changer for me - it's so convenient to just speak my questions when I'm cooking or driving. No more fumbling with the keyboard! The app's design is really sleek and easy on the eyes. I appreciate how clean and intuitive the interface is - it makes finding information a breeze, even for someone like me who's not super tech-savvy. One thing that sets Perplexity apart is the variety of AI models you can choose from. It's cool to see how different models tackle the same question. I've found myself switching between them depending on what I'm looking for. If I had to nitpick, I'd say they could tighten up their content regulation a bit. Sometimes I notice small inaccuracies or outdated info slipping through. But overall, it's a fantastic app that's become my go-to for quick answers and research. Definitely worth a download!
AI might just replace us and I am okay with that. JK.. (This review is by a UX designer working on LLMs interface at Big Tech). I am awed and amazed by how beautifully Perplexity voice interface has been executed. The functionality is easy, talking strictly about the voice part of the interface because that’s what I have been using on iOS here in the United States. I talk to Perplexity in Hindi and it gave me moral support like a friend by being there when I was filing my taxes. Furthermore, everyday. it answers complex multifaceted questions in my language so promptly with slight errors but only sometimes. I find the UI to be magical and minimal, that central dot animation is just gorgeous to interact with. I love that humans cannot be replaced by AI but AI is a good shoulder to rest your head on without the fear of human judgment. Kudos to the entire team working behind this. You have unlocked happiness for the world. Please accept this heartfelt thanks from one of the Humans for the AI that you have created.
Better than google and wikipedia. Going back to a search engine feels antiquated. and the results here are usually much higher quality. plus I can bypass the dumb algorithms and censorship on google and wikipedia. I mean who isnt sick to death of useless, overly seo-optimized sites cluttering your search results? (I'm looking at you healthline, webmd, mayoclinic, clevelandclinic). occasionally an ai generated site slips into the results though, so check the sources. when you use a search engine, you ask yourself a question, write a search friendly query and start going down the rabbit hole depending on the depth of your query. well perplexity explores all the rabbit holes at once, and practically writes you a wiki page on the fly with all sources. amazing. then you ask a followup, and boom another wiki page with sources. easily the best and fastest way to explore a topic quickly and thoroughly. thank you perplexity for whacking at goog, wiki, and bull-**** SEO. if I could request one thing its this - there are people on X who I would call "aggregators" they thoroughly understand a topic and have good information linked in their messages. if you could tap into that human curation, that would be excellent.
Great but needs improvement. As a ChatGPT subscriber, I can say that Perplexity Pro has some impressive advantages. Its strengths include deep searching, the option to choose between longer legacy models, and more powerful online, up-to-date search resources for your questions. The main drawback, however, is user-friendliness. It’s surprisingly difficult to find my previous threads and return to them later when I want to resume a topic or project. Ironically, a tool built for deep search lacks a simple internal search function for its own content. That said, I still find Perplexity useful for in-depth searching and more complex reasoning questions. For reference, I’ve been a ChatGPT subscriber for over a year, and I’ve been using Perplexity Pro for about a week. I really hope the developers focus on improving organization and adding internal thread search to make the experience more seamless.
Excellent. This app does an excellent job at grouping modern versions of AI and completing it with search results. This app is by far more superior than ChatGPT with its current browsing capabilities. Being able to see the source right in the message changes the game completely. I know you can't control the other models, but for the free perplexity model it would excellent if you can toggle an option to have the chat bot only respond with sourced material. The subscription is a tad bit overpriced, but considering you get those models included it's nowhere near as bad as the market currently is with extreme saturation regarding paid services. It would also be incredibly wise to amp-up your customer service team or re-evaluate your terms of service because I can potentially see some legal challenges based on what I have read in these reviews
Perplexity is the best AI Tool out there. My go-to word has become Plex it these days! Ever since I started using Perplexity, I haven’t been able to use anything else - it’s unreal. The results here are so much more high quality, quick and the user interface is so friendly. Having started my MBA at a top 5 school, Perplexity has become a part of my studies and work - it's so intelligent. It really fuels your knowledge journey. You can write a search query, and then explore the subject as much as you want to depending on the depth of your query. Best part is that it lists all the sources which creates so MUCH TRUST. I've used other AI tools before, and Perplexity just hits it out of the park. I've also used Perplexity Finance and it's amazing how relevant and up-to-date the information I want is - I literally don't use anything else at this point. 110% recommend downloading it.
Game Changer for Research & Daily Questions!. It completely changed how I search for information! Instead of digging through endless links, I get direct answers with real sources I can verify. The voice mode is fantastic, feels like having a conversation with a super smart assistant. I love that it pulls real time info from the web and cites everything, making it perfect for both work research and random curiosity. The ability to switch between different AI models (GPT-5, Claude, etc.) gives me the best answer depending on what I need. Whether I’m fact checking something, doing deep research, or just asking quick questions, Perplexity delivers accurate results 10x faster than traditional search. Worth every penny of Pro!
I don’t search. I seek, I find and I understand.. I spent a few hours using Perplexity and for someone like me who is both insatiably curious and also wants specific information, I felt I was Neo in the Matrix talking to the Oracle…who knew everything and you could ask follow up questions. I felt like I have a wise tutor who can high level or deep depending on my ask, give me examples when I wanted and also answers when something puzzled me. My ability to grok a subject as an output with my time as an input, I have to say Perplexity is most productive tool. I also experimented with it to see if it can replace an a freshman college undergraduate teacher for commonly available topics such as Economics and Physics and I felt it can easily replace most teachers.
Perplexity X Schools. Feedback for Perplexity: School Chromebook Access I am a student who actively uses Perplexity for researching, learning, and creative writing, including drafting and organizing my books. Perplexity greatly boosts my productivity and helps me develop critical thinking and research skills. However, my school Chromebook restricts access to Perplexity, limiting valuable opportunities for learning. I would like to request that Perplexity work collaboratively with school districts to enable safe, student-friendly access. If Perplexity could provide guidance, resources, and secure tools tailored for education, students and teachers would benefit from AI-assisted learning while upholding digital safety. Please continue expanding partnerships with educational institutions to promote responsible AI use, and consider developing dedicated “school mode” features that address common cybersecurity and privacy concerns. Thank you for supporting student learning and innovation!
My favorite. I would whole heartedly recommend using Perplexity over other competitors on the market. I use it for personal and professional use & find myself defaulting to Perplexity over Google as a search engine. The reason being is not only are the answers concise, accurate & trustworthy - but the “ask follow up” feature consistently expands my understanding on a topic. I love that I can choose what model I want to use for my query & if that’s DeepSeek, I know my data is secure in the US. Additionally, I’ve been enjoying the Discover feature for a daily digestible collection of relevant news. The “speak” feature is great especially in group settings when the answer to a collective curiosity is read aloud - and my family has said they enjoy the voice. Try it out!
Impressed AI professional. I use almost all tools that get launched into the market that integrate and/or use LLMs and almost never review them. I’m an investor and entrepreneur in the space myself. Many argue Perplexity is “cool” and “impressive” but has no defensible moat and therefore won’t last long term. I now strongly disagree. I think the product has mastered a targeted market segment and has managed to do things with other LLMs, which are proprietary, and have been architected at a caliber that is going to be very difficult for even Google (the most likely candidate to bulldoze any startup competitors), which may result in an acquisition but it’s very impressive and for many use cases it’s now where I start, particularly with the control it allows you in selecting which model you want to be used to find real time data to respond to your prompt essentially giving LLMs super powers as personal Google research b assistants.
Simply the best. The internet convinced me to try Claude Pro, with its godlike coding and reasoning capabilities… IDK what they’re talking about. Perplexity Pro is better at every single thing: research, complex reasoning, multi-stage projects, following instructions and staying focused on the prompt, not hallucinating, coding… big stuff, right down to stuff like the UI (Claude’s artifact system is terrible), reliability (lots of time-outs), and data handling (one time Claude completely ignored my file uploads and gave me general information about the topic instead). Plus, Perplexity has an amazing news feature that’s mostly replaced my news already… and it has Labs, and Finance tickers, and academic search options… Perplexity is quietly winning over here. Simply the best.
College Student: Too Expensive. CRITIQUE UP FRONT: I truly want to pay for the PRO version, since it is truly that much more improved of results vs standard searching but I will not due to this: I am a university student and the cheapest plan of $20/mo or even $200/yr is too pricy for us to consider. If only there was a discount from those of us who are able to verify their collegiate status! Either that or offer a new plan, because again I really want a fuller version of Perplexity but it's just way too expensive. Which is saddening because I use this search engine more than any other for knowledge acquisition -- which phenomenally provides info to me better and in better format than anything else out there. I want to be a part of the Perplexity team/family, but not at these prices which I cannot afford for the years that I would want to use this great service. Please consider my [and likely others's] plea.
SPACES is My Favorite Feature. Spaces is Awesome! I use it daily. The ability to pre-program a specialty for a specific subject, gives the Spaces group/s I create an identity. I usually just tell a story to create a spaces group, for example: “You are a cryptocurrency expert. The last 3 crypto cycles you made 100 million dollars in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by buying low in the Bitcoin Bear market and sell high after the Bitcoin Halving at the Top of the Bull Market Cycle. You are an expert and now teach others, as a way to give back to the world now that you have 10s of Millions of dollars from your investments” This is a real Spaces group I created which helps me make decisions with sources and methods provided by perplexity that gives me confidence I’m making the right decisions when buying and selling cryptocurrencies.
Feb. 2024: Yep, it’s unreal. I never ever ever ever ever thought I would say “goodbye Google” I’m not affiliated with Perplexity, but I wish I was. This company has built a product that, even as a AI researcher, made my jaw drop. This thing can understand images. Let me tell you. I was doing trivia some really hard math trivia which I I could not for the life of me figure out. I decided to try perplexitys capabilities and well it to my surprise, recognized every single number on the paper correctly, as well as computed the math flawlessly. For the next hour, I couldn’t stop trying subject after subject of trivia, seeing if anything to trick it, and really the only thing that I found that could check it was my Chihuahua. It knew that the picture of the small weird looking dog was a Chihuahua but it told me it wasn’t sure if it was an Applehead or Deerhead. Hint: it’s an Applehead. You can literally take a picture of a hand written, love letter, a hand, written, love letter, and I even tried my, a mushroom growing and it will tell you everything you want to know. It’s three in the morning and perplexity AI should be banned because it’s kept me up this late playing with it.
Where AI gets Personal!. I am absolutely blown away by the Perplexity app! As someone who has tried countless chatbot AI apps, I have yet to come across one quite like Perplexity. This app has managed to answer questions that other chatbots have failed to answer, time and time again. One thing that sets Perplexity apart from other AI apps is its ability to understand context. It doesn't just provide a generic response to a question, it actually takes into account the context of the conversation to provide a more accurate and personalized answer. This has been incredibly helpful for me, as I often find myself asking complex questions that other chatbots struggle to answer. Another thing I love about Perplexity is its user-friendly interface. The app is very easy to navigate, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into designing it. The app's creators have clearly put a lot of effort into making sure that users have a seamless experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Perplexity enough. If you're looking for an app that can answer your questions accurately and intelligently, look no further than Perplexity. It truly is the best chatbot AI app out there, and I give it a well-deserved 5-star rating!
I love it. Since I have gotten this, I have used the free version. I am certainly not a power user and use it in my normal searches. Strangely, there is lots. I need to search sometimes for general information and things I never knew. It is always quick with the information and has only been confused with a query once, as I can remember. One downside is that it is often quite repetitive in its replies. Another downside, and it’s also an asset, I think, is the snippets of information that it provides all on its own. These are usually interesting and worth reading. However, after reading one I would like to be able to delete it if no other reasons then to make room for additional ones. I’m also waiting to receive rabbit R1 in order to get more use of this device.
Quirky, Perky, Not So Dirty. Favorite. Fingers down. I can find anything, silly or more on the stoic side of perspectives, literally anything. Snappy like that one tenuous processor in many devices out there. Clean, I haven’t noticed a single burp in relativity or validity or fluidity in meaning or definition. This machine was designed with positively everyone in mind. It caters to anyone, precisely, professionally, and yet, still maintains an occasional humorous sense, which I can appreciate. It’s not your average monotonous lecturer-professor. It’s more so the Johnny Depp-movie-like role that was recent, and nothing of it feels uncomfortable as a seat in the University atmosphere. Sit anywhere you have access to data/web, ask it anything, check the weather anywhere, even utilize the email client which makes sorting, categorizing, corresponding, and clearing those pesky inbox folders, so much smoother, like the wife just shaved her legs and crawled on in!
A Research Assistant for All. I first engaged with AI when it was first released to the public a bit over a year ago, I felt the normal ambivalence that, for many of us, has come to accompany the introduction of most technologies: the harnessing of the labor and talent of collective humanity to the benefit of a few individuals who had the fortune of being able to invest in a project. The programmers and mathematicians who labored to learn, adapt, and apply the techniques of so many unnamed predecessors are themselves unnamed. But I use technology and still believe that it can have the power to liberate and bring equality. I also refuse to engage with the divine creating we love to do with tech investors. Thankfully, their egos and hubris are visible. What I find exciting is seeing what individuals can do with the technology when they are able to engage with it on their own terms. My suspicion is that Perplexity’s focus on research gives it more potential to liberate than those interactive AI programs that try to recreate human conversation. As long as there is a free version, and it remains useful, everyone will have access to their own research assistant with Perplexity.
Not as Good as ChatGPT. I ran the same brief discussion between Perplexity and ChatGPT and found that ChatGPT was able to alter and rationally change it’s opinion based upon logic whereas Perplexity was much more limited in scope. I would give ChatGPT a much higher rating based upon this initial experience. Why waste your time with an AI app that cannot alter it’s data and update it’s perspective to render an intelligent and informative answer? Precisely the kind of answer that professors at our top universities cannot arrive at based upon logic, but that a good AI app such as ChatGPT can do quite easily and much more effectively. The more that people use AI, the more they will realize just how limited cultures restrict thinking whereas AI will leave us far behind if we do not use it wisely.
The Apex in GAI Research Companions. Perplexity is its best as a systematic researcher. It shines at object differentiation (such as when you upload photos), parsing and ranking research legitimacy, and sticking to objective language output. Your ability to select the model (i.e. Claude, Llama, GPT4, etc.) provides an additional layer of customization of output. With new features such as “deep research”, you can choose the extent to which you want the available online body scoured. It’s clear the developers are working on more multi-layering and I would not be surprised if a custom research-focus search engine is launched that combines the interface of a search engine with the current GAI call-and-response presentation. I see unique product differentiation with perplexity, compared to the more “conversational” GAI apps. If I am a user interested in GAI applications, I would source both, with Perplexity’s utility coming in the aforementioned research-based investigations - such as academic-meets-practical quandries such as in science, engineering, medicine, general instruction, and everyday solution formulation and true/false/facts of the matter questions.
League of its own. “I don’t Google anymore. I perplexity “ is my class intro. I have been using perplexity for the past 3 years and watched its upgrades and improvements. It has a cool user experience, with on the spot results, and the display of said results is unique. Deep research is a new game changer combined with near zero cost. It’s sleek, easy to navigate and allows the ability to change the focus from social to math to academic. The addition of videos is another unique feature. From Shopping to finance to research, another set of amazing features. Frankly, the upgrades it’s making quietly makes it actually super cool. I wonder when they’ll enter seriously into the healthcare field and what they’d innovate there to reset the bar higher.
On an iPhone 16 Pro Max w/ 2TB memory & it ALWAYS loses my work!. I have every AI app of significance and I use them all to be sure I know who is creating the best and who can benefit my projects the most. I write music which is extremely progressive, complex atmospheric music, and build websites that I’m trying to use AI to help build. Perplexity sure came along boasting and bragging about its ability to do everything the best. So I downloaded it and asked if it could write a website for me instantly it said yes so I explained what I wanted instantly it said here’s an outline answer these questions and will get going. I spent over an hour in great detail explaining what my pre-existing website business had/was and one we foresee it doing in the future and now. So again, I spent a lot of time working with it. And it locked up and lost everything I had written And then it told me “too bad you lost your information, hope you backed it up.” I’m furious at this thing. I am immediately going to reverse the download to get rid of the app and have nothing good to say about my experience.

Better then chat gpt or any other site or app. I started using it and it just leads u to what you are upto not like any other app like google searching some and ending to something else. I preper to just give a try if u really upto something. But for research and study sector it’s really great. It really helped me in my projects and assignments that’s why I compared with chat gpt. Must give it a shot.
Love it!. The search platform is so precise clean and fresh compared to the layers of ads and mud you have to wade through on others!
Excellent. As a professional creator helps me in my day today Work with ideas and looking for literature with evidence research I love the way it gives me links back to where the research is coming from ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great app and has definitely replaced Google Search for me. I hardly go to Google search. I like how Chat GPT has a smooth UI animations but the results from Chat GPT are so much hit and miss. Also, perplexity’s sources feature really help to fact check the answers.
Subscription bills but does not work. Payed the $30 through the app for pro, I have the Apple email confirmation and have been billed however my account is not recognised as bro. No features and not accessible on the laptop either. Very disappointed.
The most sophisticated use of AI I have seen yet.. An extremely useful iteration of AI chat and far more convenient than ChatGPT.
👌. This is better than chat gpt I could use this as my homework buddy thanks to this app I can get good grades better than before.
“Talk” to the Most Knowledgeable Person. It’s beyond generation from prompts. Much like interaction very relevant and personalised, just like a chat with a human, a wise human.
A search engine on steroids. This is an amazing tool, unlike ChatGPT, it doesn’t spit out the same formulaic US English responses with no way of fact checking. This tool helps you research whatever documents or website references you want in real time, it draws its responses from 5 different credible sources than you can fact check and remove if you don’t think they’re right. I absolutely LOVE this tool, a complete game changer.
My starting point. Perplexity is now my default starting point for search, research, brainstorming and more.
Not disobedient. Someone called it disobedient for not providing the expected outcome. Ai is jot disobedient, you just don’t know how to put the prompts in. Ai is a machine for humans to use to make life easier but it still has a learning curve. This Ai is helpful to get quick answers.
Brilliant. Fantastic app I’m still learning but it is great so far. I recommend it but subscribed costs a bit to high.
Useful tool. Easy to use and full of useful information I learn from this app
Fast and accurate. The fact that perplexity can cite its sources is a game changer. I have not had any problems with the app (nor its webpage) so far. It is lightning fast and has helped me in my research immensely. Though, it did let me down once when I was trying to convince a workmate about its usefulness and the only question he could think of was which bottle shop in our immediate area had the best price for his beer of choice. But I really don’t think that this is a function that perplexity needs since I use it for research and as a sounding board when problem solving.
Surprisingly good. I find perplexity to be incredibly accurate at results and with the latency it basically has normal search mode and pro search mode which asks about our preferences in the results we expect. And i find it both to be useful depending on for what purpose i use this app. I genuinely appreciate the effort that the team has put bts and iteratively this tool will only get better and better..kudos to team😍😍☺️
Great. Love the way Perplexity give you a straight answer without having to dig through relevant articles
Love the source citing. Paid subscription. Love how there are 4x LLMs to choose from and 3x Image generators on the website. It generates fast responses and ‘shows its homework’. The fact that it cites its sources is a huge peace of mind factor for me using AI for important tasks. It also asks for clarifications when needed and provides 3 follow up query suggestions which is very helpful.
Perplexity review. Only started using this app recently and so far have found it to be very fast and extremely accurate. Will move it to work usage soon.
Excellent AI App. Have used numerous AI Apps from Chat GPT to Copilot to Gemini to mention a few but find the balance of the quality in answers from Perplexity to be the best
Aggressive requests for a rating. I was first asked to give a rating before I even use the app in anyway, and then I was asked another two times in the next hour of usage, so my rating is based on this alone
Almost perfect. Love all the features added since last time I wrote a review. Just one last thing. Can you please make the read aloud function work the way an audio app works on iOS, especially when users jump out of the app?
Terrific App. Just excellent! I’m frequently amazed at the speed with which answers are supplied, and at the really good expression. I can get detailed and accurate answers to even obscure questions in seconds. It’s infinitely superior to using Google or any other search engine.
Inaccurate and useless scam. This tool is just a type of google search engine. 99% of responses are incorrect and it puts the wrong information together and tells you the wrong answer. It’s actually way worse than Google home. Do not waste your money. It’s a scam. When you give it feedback that it’s wrong, it just slips into repetitive garbage like Google does. Avoid this scam.
Rabbit holes with rewards. The first time I’ve tried perplexity and I’m in a rabbit hole of big ideas with well back research. Loving it so far!
Pryceless. Complexity proves great support over numerous objectives, be they shallow or deep. A really great tool ! I appreciate it as a editor of my loosely produced work & my more important concerns.
A suggestion. This is an amazing app that could replace search engines. Suggestions 1. Add more sources (I have no problem with your sources but it seems that it doesn’t have the whole access to the internet) (it would be fantastic) 2. Add a save photo feature.
Great app but political correct. Perplexity has the biggest potential to became the new google as its approach is still to have an intermediate layer that research information and provide a summary which is actually what users need The biggest problem Perplexity has is that it tries to be politically correct instead of providing an objective true an apolitical answer I think it is heavily influenced by google and others I believe if this is not fixed this app would be one of the many that will perish as people nowadays is more aware of the pervasive manipulation of information by the traditional media and the big players like google, Facebook, MSM Please reverse curse if you are here to win
Probabaly the best AI aggregator. Quick answers, good ability to aggregate a bunch of different information sources into one easy article.
The greatest. I am 71 and go into this every day. I put a request into Perplexity the Claude and it was Perplexity that gave me what I wanted and put it into an Excel format which Claude didn't. If Perplexity was a woman and I didn't have a wife I would marry her.
Awesome. Use it all the time, far better than Google and easier to use 5⭐️s
Almost flawless. The app is really great as an upgrade compared to other search engines but my one issue is why do I have to pay for pro to use free desktop features on the mobile app, because you can add photos or files for the ai to understand your query but yet I have to get pro to use that feature on mobile? Ofc I only just started using the app for a few days and yet to discover more things but this is a bit of an inconvenience
Better Than Google Search. I love this app! I find it easier to get answers that on a Google search. I love the way that relevant answers are returned in almost a conversational format.
Outstanding!. Very big fan of this company and their team. Helps me on a daily basis now.
Wow!. #epic for people who can't organise lots of information but have the creativity. A research tool that never stops giving. Life changer for a traveller with ADHD.
Copy and Word selection features pls. Great app, but I hope that users can copy words from the generated answer, so that they can further explore its content. From this perspective, apps are not so necessary. In fact, the web version operations are more convenient.
Love perplexity. It takes the grunt out of research. Usually finding what you need easily and explaining it succinctly. Sometimes wrong but I find ways to check it’s veracity by Googling. As a ballpark it reduces 1 hour spent reading search results to about 10 minutes including veracity checking.
Easy. A very easy use of AI and I love that it offers articles and prompts off the back of your question. My favourite AI tool at the moment.
Compare to other model seems very basic. I’m using and comparing a number of different models. At the moment. This model seems somewhat basic and doesn’t have a very intuitive User face and the answers seem to be very average. If I was not familiar with the other models, I would’ve been impressed so this might be an overly harsh criticism but considering the state of the art this seems to be lagging behind some of the other better performers.
My Go To AI App. Love Perplexity! Love that I can see what sources it’s getting its info from and the feel of the interaction/interface I have when using it. I asked it to use Australian spelling when replying to queries and it answered no problem, can do! I use it daily and I also love the 3 ‘Pro’ uses you get per day which is handy and I have not seen this generosity on other AI platforms. I mentioned it to a family member who then installed it and it seems to have spread like wildfire to our family/friends and even neighbours who now use Perplexity for their go to AI app! Keep up the awesome work guys. Much love from Melbourne, Australia!
Great app! Most recent update isn’t though. This app is a great tool, I use it everyday. But the recent update has taken away a great feature - I used to be able to talk and the response would be provided in text and spoken back to me. Now I can only have a conversation back an fourth and not able to read the text while it’s talking back at the same time - the text was great because if referenced it sources next to the text- please bring this back or give a option in the setting to turn it back on - edit - new update is terrible, constantly being cut off while in the middle of speaking, it was good before being able to press play when finished talking
Unusable. I suspect this is an Apple/iOS problem, but the app is completely unusable on my iPad. I can't paste, answers don't show after submitting, and threads take forever to load. iOS seems really slow with web interfaces.
Excellent. Better than Bing. Short great answers. The future of search, if they can avoid the SEO ! Let us hope so!
It has replaced my Google unless looking for an address. It has replaced my Google unless looking for an address
Amazing. I have been using Perplexity for about two months now and every time I do a search I am blown away by the speed, helpfulness and accuracy of the answers. I have used two "answer engines" prior to this, but Perplexity is streets ahead and has totally changed the way I search. The follow up suggested questions are always helpful. What a brilliant app!
Great except….. Fantastic that the response is always on top, not just a stack of paid for responses by other companies. However it often provides answers which are wrong. Once this is sorted it will the ‘go to’ of all searches
Critical UI Flaw: Perplexity App Deletes User Entries!. I’m utterly disappointed with the Perplexity app’s glaring UI failure. Attempting to scroll through a text longer than the screen’s view forcibly shuts the input window and deletes everything typed—without any warning or save feature. It’s inconceivable how such a fundamental flaw bypassed quality control. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a complete disruption to the workflow, resulting in a loss of time and data. It’s critical that the developers address this issue immediately. Users expect and deserve a reliable platform, especially for an app that’s supposed to enhance productivity, not hinder it.
Best app. I love how this app is able to reference sites as well as posing a series of follow up alternative questions. A game changer for me and my go to app!!!
Perplexity finds what I am looking for. After years of frustration attempting to use Google to research family history and information on the lives of ancestors; one simple question gave me a massive amount of information - under 7 topics. I am no longer perplexed. Thank you Perplexity!
What have you done???. Appears Perplexity has become very dumb all of a sudden,,, Ask it for any major event that happened on a specific date you only get one and maybe two if you are lucky, where before on my birthdate you got a dozen major events on the same date!!! Repeat the question and you get different answers!!!
Useless. Sometimes the AI's responses are good, but most of the time it interrupts the conversation and doesn't follow up on questions. For example, when I asked about the safety of Patagonia's recycled materials for skin contact, the AI didn't answer the question and instead focused on praising the brand's environmental efforts, which was not helpful or relevant to my inquiry.

My absolute go to learning tool!. I don’t remember the last time I google searched something- absolutely love learning everything from perplexity
Quick and better than chatgpt4 alone. Love it
Very useful. Best ai app that I’ve used, has many different ai models to choose from depending on your application, I use gpt4 to help write lab reports, explain engineering problems and provide extra theoretical information to understand my classes.
Mon commentaire.
Mind blowing! 🤯. The speed and added suggestions to your queries are amazing. Exceptional detail in the responses! I don’t a day without using it!
Great Start, but…. Hey, I love that the app is a sand-alone, but I would love to offer some feedback. It’s a mess in terms of the typography. The GUI needs some major cleaning-up. Is that in the works? The website is much cleaner, so is that in the works? Also, why is the app and the website so different?
Fantastique !. J’adore cette application , je vous la conseille fortement pour faire toutes sortes de recherches et réponde à mes questions…..
Strong model. Very helpful in Finance and investing
Central sleep apnoea. Amazing!!!! concise, current, scientifically based information!!! Thank you!!!
AI extraordinary!. The most comprehensive AI platform I have ever worked with and super easy to advance research!
Scabs. They’re offering their services to replace striking workers. Also the AI is slop, a Google search is much easier.
Google alternative. Great Product I loved it I will suggest use it as Google alternative It will give you better search results. Thanks Developers For this amazing Product.
Terrible update.. Many thumbs down on new update. 1. You need to check your down/up click…since the update, if you scroll while simply touching a RELATED item, it doesn’t scroll, it takes you to the new item!! Let the people scroll!! 2. The sources at the top got way smaller. I thought you told Casey and Kevin from Hardfork that sources are important to you!!! Keep your sources large and in charge!!!! Otherwise it seems to me this upgrade goes a long way to prove NYTimes lawsuit that ai is scrubbing and not sourcing. I will rewrite my review if you change these updates cuz I love your app but the update is very sus. Thank you.
Allow using with VPNs. You guys allow using the mobile web version after passing captcha so why not do the same for the app? It’s really dumb.
67 years old & love Perplexity. I was nervous of AI as an older person, and yet Perplexity has made it easy and user friendly! Thank you for opening the door to trustable knowledge.
Say goodbye to Google.. This app has changed the way I learn and interact with technology. It is so incredibly fast it blows my mind. The answers it provides have citations so you do not have to worry about the AI hallucinations from other tools. I wish I could give it 6 stars.
Please allow paid subscribers to use VPNs. As a paid user, it's really frustrating that the app won't even let you log in when you use a VPN. I've confirmed this is because of the VPN because the web interface presents a CAPTCHA challenge. Apparently, the app is unable to do that. Personally, I think a paid user should be allowed access via VPN even without a CAPTCHA but I concede that that might open the doors to nefarious usage of the platform. So how about compromising and updating the app to support CAPTCHAs?
Google Killer. The ultimate Google killer! This app is all you need to know it all.
Belle découverte. Depuis que j’ai téléchargé cette application, je n’ai plus de questions qui demeure sans réponse!
The bomb!. This is by far the best AI I’ve used so far.
Anti meat agenda. This app is quite good for general questions that don’t provoke political agendas. Such as how to fix your car or home based repairs, but when it comes to climate and meat based questions, you may as well be asking for the government stance. Science is often ignored.
Good. Nice..
2 suggestions. Can’t change font size. The link buttons too small for iPhone user. Can't go back pages Aug 30: what a pity developer could be born with no ear. Still no zooming
Quick and latest. This app solves two of the annoying issues of Ai, by providing latest information with the help of AI, relayed quickly.
I don’t like the “Thread” style.. The app function is good. However, I’m not comfortable with the “Thread” style. Somehow, the feeling is weird.
Almost perfect, but crashes on iPad Air 5. Overall, I love the app. However, it has certain bugs that can be a headache, specially when working on long assignments. App constantly crashes on my iPad Air 5, closes the chat and takes me to the main page and so on. Wold be perfect to get those things fixed.
As changer ma vie. J’adore ce logiciel
Waay better than Google search!!. I love how detailed and through the answers to any question I have are. And the follow up feature that shows related questions, is usually spot on with what I was thinking to ask next! I’ll never go back to ANY other search engine, when I need real answers, I know where to go. Perplexity rocks!!
Great for search. Replaced my search engine with Perplexity!
Top app. A great improvement from other LLM models I’ve used. The web access even makes it all better
Awesome!. Awesome!
Useful. This is the first AI app I have used that is actually pretty useful. I don't write many app reviews, so this one means I'm impressed. The writing style is clear and the citations given to the sources are a very strong point. The level of hallucination seems quite low and the citations help clear up the very few weird statements I have seen. This is becoming a key search tool for me. I don't search that often, so the free version works perfectly well. But I'd definitely upgrade if I needed to.
What happens when word get out. Try this and you get the AI hype. This app is a game changer.
Aide fiable qui laisse de la latitude à l’humain. L’identification des sources de recherche est un facteur décisif et rassurant quand à l’usage d’une IA afin de faire nos recherches, rédactions et études
If you want a great alternative to chat GPT, this is it!. You get prompts that are researched on the internet and it provides all the articles for you to read yourself! I love it
Finaly I can get good answer!!!. I stopped using google as a search tool many years ago. The answer were too difficult to spot, if they were there... and in most case, they werent. With perplexity a whole new world appeared in front of me. Now if I ask a question I actually get an answer that is straigth to the point. Which for me, is a miracle. Much gratitude for this technology.
It’s an amazing tool. Different from chat GPT, and very powerful tool To have in your pocket
The wonder of perplexity. This app is awesome! It helps my dad do so much, and when he talks about it he gets so exited! I love this app so much thank you and know you have helped many many people
Wow. No rabbit holes to follow. It’s all right there in front you…details…. Details….its great
Perplejo.
Assistant. I recently took a course on AI for accountants and have been surprised by perplexity and what it can do. This is based on ChatGPT but has easier to read output and analysis. You can simply give it instructions be take on the hat of HR specialist/Accountant/employment lawyer giving specialized output for the user. I would like to see how the Pro version can be a fact checker assistant for my own accounting practice.
Amazing AI app. Been using this for a few days and really it’s the best search engine so far! Thank you Perplexity.
Very good app. I like the app. Very useful
The BEST APP!!. Thank you. This life is a life saver.
App crashing since Sept 21 2024. App crashing please check
Perplexity ai is simple slick and smart!. Perplexity ai is search next level for ideas, questions, complex queries and outstanding summaries and lists. Google Search can’t keep it this simple. Steve Jobs would use Perplexity ai! Get it?!
Exceptionnel!. Je ne peux plus m’en passer
Is this a Beta?. This exists as a decent substitute for a regular Google search but struggles in all forms when attempting to generate an answer. AI image generation is not an option, even at the pro level.
Quick for inquiries, brilliant for follow-ups. I have completely replaced browser search engines with Perplexity. Gone are the annoying ads (forever I hope). I appreciate that sources are cited, and that relevant videos are noted. I also very much appreciate the followup suggestions. And maybe best of all, my queries and their answers are saved to allow later consultation and later followup.
Loving the app. My favourite resource for information. Love that the answers include very recent information. And I love the suggested questions that Perplexity includes. I’ve recommended Perplexity now to many people.
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Sensitive. This app is ridiculous. You would assume a person is responding because Its almost as if it gets offended. It asked for the population of the trans community in India. I was genuinely curious about it and it told me basically to worry about health care for trans and treating them fairly. I kept asking and finally I asked if there were no statistics on the population and it finally generated an answer. Then I asked if some women wore a front Wedgie ( I don’t want to refer to it as a camel t*e just in case it’s inappropriate) but I asked if some women wore a front wedgie as a fashion statement or on purpose and again it told me it was inappropriate and that it is not my place to judge women. Excuse me I am a woman. I cant ask about things I’m genuinely curious about?
I love this app! But there is a slight accessibility issue in this version.. “Hello developers of Perplexity AI. I use this app daily, replacing Google for most of my searches due to its excellent results. However, as a visually impaired person using voiceover on the iPhone, I’ve encountered accessibility issues in the latest version. There are unlabeled buttons that read as ‘button’ without description, which is inconvenient. I hope you can address this for improved accessibility. Despite this, the app is a favorite of mine, though I’ve rated it four stars instead of five due to this concern. Thank you.”
Perfect except missing a couple of things. Multimodal input including voice and voice output using an AI generated voice of our choice. This would be perfect! Any chance of an API where we can tinker with? As a smart bot Perplexity has been fairly accurate and most answers are reliably sourced otherwise and I hope you devs continue to improve this app Oh and have an easy to remember name. Perplexity is good but not easy to type!
Family, friendly, and great for educators. I use this simple AI app for everything from finding the answers to random questions or creating fun trivia games. I find directions to games, creative activities, recipes, crafts, or just to find out interesting information because I’m curious like that! I use this in my classroom and with my kids. We use it in the car and doctors offices and sometimes around the table to generate a family conversation. Helps get the brain cells Poppin and makes our minds more curious. I can’t recommend this enough.
What the Internet was made for. I’ve been a techie for a LONG time. I have seen the Internet grow from being a novelty only available to scientists in universities to what it is today. Perplexity is the first search engine to tame the Internet beast and unlock the global library. I use it for work as well as for my various hobbies. It is the best tool for finding relevant technical information on the Internet. It is particularly useful when you don’t know the exact terminology for what you are looking for.
Just a gimped ai. I went in thinking id get the best of both worlds with perplexity. The current and best information from real time search results and the intelligence of ai. Unfortunately it feels more like I’m getting the worst of both worlds. Often times the search results provide related but not relevant answers. The ai gets overwhelmed by the information of the search results and just starts summarizing the search results with references to each article instead of giving me an answer. Meanwhile a basic ai model would’ve given me a to the point answer.
Just as Kim Komando says!. I’ve learned a lot from Kim Komando over the years. The lady’s on top of her game when it comes to tech and she’s earned my trust. Her praise of Perplexity in her 6th January 2024 newsletter hits a high note she doesn’t reach for casually, so I installed the app on iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 17.2.1, and my first few experiments have justified what sound like extravagant claims. I’m using the free version but I know I’ll subscribe soon. Thanks, developers and K.K. Stuart Gardner
Best app I have ever used without a doubt.. There is no app on my phone that is more useful than perplexity. There are few apps that I will even spend as much time on. As an avid forever student who is always trying to learn this app legitimately makes me feel unstoppable. I can say honestly with conviction that this app will be life changing. With AI we are slowly winning our lives back 20 minutes at a time as we automate tasks. And perplexity took a massive step towards that.
Better than Google. It does what Google USED to do or should be doing. Ask a question and get an answer. I asked the same question on Google and got a wrong answer about something totally different, asked the same question on on here and got the information and answer that I was looking for. Other search engines will become like Yahoo, if they keep this up.
Review. So I thought of a question, trying to understand more about society and the world…No understanding from my usual browser, it only showed a one dimensional view. I did not like what I read or completely agree with what I read the first time. Then I hit your button that made it do a re write , scramble type type thing, and what it all said SCREWED MY HEAD UP THE REST THE DAY AFTER and now my head is finally unconfused.
Google Killer. Because how great this tool is- I no longer use Google or anything else for web searches. I have a ChatGPT account and have been comparing the two for a couple months and they are almost identical in their responses, but if the data needs to be current- Perplexity wins. Especially when you use the Copilot option. The only advantage that ChatGPT has over Perplexity is the custom GPT tools. If Perplexity starts to offer that I’ll cancel my ChatGPT Plus and switch to Perplexity Pro.
Good but badly needs specific UX improvement. This is more feature request than review. Devs, please consider the following UX improvements as urgently needed: 1) The prompt field is currently limited to one line. This makes entering long prompts very clunky. The app needs a multi line prompt input field. 2) It’s easy to accidentally clear a prompt, and there is no undo or shake-to-undo. This is a big time waster. The app needs an undo for prompt clears. 3) Reply text cannot current be selected and copied. This greatly slows down many cases of iterative prompting or otherwise rising text from the reply. All prompt and reply text needs to be selectable so that sections can be copied ad hoc. Collectively, these issues mean that a power user greatly benefit from writing prompts in a separate text editor and pasting them over into Perplexity. Clearly this is not ideal - a text based UI needs to have excellent text manipulation UX. Thanks for taking these humble suggestions on board!
Best Co-Pilot Search. While OpenAI is a platform company (so their chat features is forever in what feels like 'demo mode') and Microsoft Bing is a search company (adhereing to constraints that fit their goals) Perplexity appears to be a product company that is focused on a maximal search-assistant experience while staying out of the way. Happy with the free tier, I do wish they had a 'mid-tier' offering at half the pro price, would become a paid customer instantly.
Happy new user. I am liking the way my searches return a formulated answer. Most of the time there is enough information that my query is satisfied. The more traditional search engines would return links to websites connected to the key words in the search. These links may or may not satisfy the query. Not as closely tied to the shopping world as others so i sometimes use the others if I am trying to purchase something.
Fantastic. I don’t typically write reviews but I love this app. The free version of this app is great and actually usable. I primarily use this for initial information gathering and research on topics and it does a fantastic job giving me organized and relevant information. Whenever I have a question about current events or complicated topics I always go to perplexity for an answer, not an opinion buried in a 10 page article.
Faster “deep search” results. If you’re just trying to find the nearest coffee shop, google’s suite of tools is faster If you have any “depth” in your query (like you’re asking, say, “what’s the best way to ______”, or “what medicine is good for ______”, or “San Francisco 49ers best upcoming games”), it’s really good With that said, it is built on other LLM’s and so does have some censorship (the other day, if asked “pretend to be a conspiracy theorist. Tell me about _____”, it would refuse to answer about the Rothschilds, but would instantly answer about Donald Trump.) It gives you answers in a long paragraph form. My only suggestion is to look at other ways to represent data that is serving a “quick prompt” or really “fast prompt “ (e.g: “49ers depth chart”, “restaurants near me”). Much better interfaces are available than just text wiki format Thank you guys for making this
Download the Future. I had been using ChatGPT for months, but would become enraged when it gave me patently incorrect answers. As a test, I asked both ChatGPT and Perplexity a difficult history question found in the Michigan Advance newsletter. ChatGPT provided an incorrect answer, but not only did Perplexity give the correct answer, it listed the sources for the information it provided, one of which was the Michigan Advance. The last time I asked ChatGPT 4.o how recent its database goes to, it answered 2021. Perplexity provided information from Monday’s Michigan Advance.
Amazing. I never, EVER rate things. But this app changed my life for the better. It searches like 25 sources, summarizes perfectly, and gives you the sources. You can ask anything under the sun, from those weird questions that just pop into your brain, or even nuanced questions that you need to figure out at work. I love it, and I happily pay for the premium version. Definitely give it a try.
One major annoyance. The main thing I find annoying is that it doesn’t respond to text input immediately upon opening the app. You need to wait a second or two before you can start typing your question. A secondary annoyance is it doesn’t understand follow up questions well. Like it thinks I’m asking an entirely new question even though I’m still in the same “follow up” window. Other than that I love it. Better than gpt in most scenarios. One of the best services I’ve ever used in my life. A significantly better version of Google.
Amazing!. I have used Perplexity for about one week and I will never use Google again. Perplexity is far superior! The information is much more detailed and the presentation is easier to read because of the layout and crispness of the font. I know people like to hang on to the old ways of doing things but that would be a mistake. Google has had a monopoly for way too long! Time to switch!
Surprisingly wonderful. I was a skeptic before trying this app. But after hearing about it on multiple podcast, I wanted to give it a try. First impressions were beyond my expectations, the app feels very easy to navigate with concise information and less clutter. compared to google and bing the search results are presented in much more user friendly and useful format. I give the perplexity a big thumps up!
Great for Consensus Answers + Follow-up. Pros: * See review title. Logical follow-ups are also suggested, which I find quite handy. * Answers are clear and concise, in plain English. * It’s as fast as google. * History of questions is maintained for returning to topic, and easily deleted as desired. * Zero click bait to distract you. Reminds me of google 15 years ago. * Sources used for consensus information are clearly displayed, and seem to be high-end reliable (NIH, CDC, Mayo Clinic etc.) * Queries are not sent until you hit the “go” arrow, making it easy to read and rephrase as appropriate. For some, this could be a con since it’s an added step, but I prefer it. It leads to more precise, efficient answers. Con’s: I haven’t found any to date. But, since nothing is perfect, 4 stars (I’m a very hard grader). Perhaps it’s simplicity will bother some but, as previously stated, I really like that. Search interfaces are overly complex these days, and filled with invasive, self-serving advertising disguised as entertainment or knowledge.
AI + Ad Delivery System. Glad I started off with a monthly subscription, because the introduction of advertising being injected into every interaction has completely ruined the service for me. The ads are everywhere and not at all relevant. Ask a question on programming in a specific language. Get a response with ads for buying a lawnmower. For context, I live in the city and have never even searched for anything lawnmower related in probably 10 years. Too much competition in this space. My advice, don’t commit to anything long term with this service unless you can live with intrusive marketing.
What it’s good at, it is REALLY good.. Perplexity is as useful as GPT, Gemini, or Copilot for most things. It may be slightly less effective as Gemini for generalized questions. Honestly, with all these LLMs today it’s getting hard to determine which is better for task X vs. task Y. However, I’m an entrepreneur in STEM and spend hours on end reading research for a living. For questions that warrant answers backed by sound, scientific research, Perplexity is undoubtedly lightyears ahead of its competitors. It’s really impressive.
Latest Updates trash utilization. It used to be very good. Now it's just like Google Search, but not as accurate. I'm moving to other apps. I see no reason to use Perplexity as it's links are hard to use when you want even more data. They are now also placing "suggestions" just like Google Search. I do not want suggestions, I want answers. And Perplexity is not as good as Google in providing you with information. Next "paid" or "suggested" ads will probably show up with every question. It's bad enough seeing what they think we must be interested in. As not 1 of their suggestions has been accurate.
Follow up question prompts issue. When you ask a question, it gives you suggested follow-up questions below the answer. Then when you scroll down by using your phone touch screen, you accidentally touch the follow up questions and it de-rails your conversation and costs you more questions so you may meet the quota easier. Normally on an iPhone, if you click and hold on a link for a second or two, it won’t click the link, but that’s not what happens on this app, so the act of scrolling brings you to questions you didn’t intend to ask. Otherwise it’s a great resource. Up to date on current events unlike chatGPT
Curiosity machine. I always wanted a tool for human to discover anything with the curiosity. This is great tool to drive curiosity and provide necessary answers backed by a source. I have been using this tool for a while and i love it rather than just proving an answer. Provide an answer but also curiosity for more knowledge . I believe humans are naturally curious so it would definitely be cutting edge some day and disruptive once it can scale at a bigger level.
Incredible for discovering all types of information, including health. I’ve been researching a lot about health recently and have found the results are so helpful in sifting through the vast amount of information of the internet. The fact we have cited sources is incredibly helpful in inspiring more worm holes of information. I’ve found several websites I don’t think I would have ever found if it wasn’t for this invaluable tool. Thank you Perplexity - oh and thank you Lex Fridman Podcast for interviewing the founder of this app!
Hooked on Perplexity!. I'm absolutely hooked on Perplexity! The AI assistant is incredibly smart and always up for a fun conversation. Whether I need help with a quick question or want to dive into a deep discussion, Perplexity delivers. The app's user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate, and I love the personalized responses that make me feel like I'm chatting with a friend. Perplexity has become my go-to companion for learning, laughing, and exploring new ideas. 5 stars and a big thumbs up from me!
Knowledge Unbound, Curiosity Ignited. With Perplexity, I have found answers to long-pondered questions. Like a modern-day Oracle of Delphi, it is unbound by conventional thoughts. It effortlessly does what I would do in a library, but at 1,000 times the pace, generating content through AI models. Perplexity creates a seamless, easy-to-digest information delivery system on a regular basis. I cannot express enough how Perplexity has simplified searching the Internet for me. It is easy to find data in an easy-to-digest format, coherent, and almost effortlessly amassed and collated for my consumption and expansion of knowledge, perfectly tailored to me. I would like to personally thank the people at Perplexity for their hard work and for honoring the true academia of the world by providing information. The content is presented in an unbiased, factual manner without sensationalism, allowing me to form my own opinions based on the truth. This means the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Scott
The best chatAI!. The Perplexity app is a fantastic tool for accessing up-to-date information with the help of AI. Its user-friendly interface and seamless experience make it stand out among other chatAI apps. The app's simple design, absence of ads, and quick response time make it a valuable resource for anyone seeking knowledge. Additionally, the app provides sources for the information it presents, adding credibility to its answers. Overall, Perplexity is a top-notch app that offers a wealth of information without any unnecessary clutter. I highly recommend it and give it a well-deserved 5-star rating!
Can never go back. Perplexity has made web search useful and interesting again. I didn’t realize just how miserable and sad the old way of finding and interacting with information had become. It saves me at least 90 minutes a day, and it blows all the other GPTs away in the web search category. I wish Apple was teaming with Perplexity instead of OpenAI, Perplexity feels like a finished product - I really can never go back to the old way of interacting with information.
Very natural interface!. On average and ask about 30 to 40 questions a day. I use it for calorie tracking. Keeping my clients entertained. Finding free software. Searching multiple websites to find the cheapest items online. This really isn’t an oversell. This is just what it does very easily for me every day, and a heck of a lot more. I do not use anything else unless I’m trying to generate an image. You could step up your game in that department.
One of the best search engines. I liked the way it’s designed. It summarizes the content or concepts you’re looking for and in most of the cases we don’t need to visit the websites and absolutely best thing is no ads. The main problem is with our muscle memory, most of us got adapted by the google way. So, it will be a little harder in the beginning but you will enjoy later. Clean and neat, just give it shot and you won’t regret it.
Skeptic won over. Tried this app almost against my will. It didn’t take long, minutes actually, to see that search results were so much more useful than standard internet search results, and they are presented in an easy to digest way - easy to dive in as deeply as you like too. A much better learning tool that makes search engines seem primitive and quaint.
Far better than Google when doing research or address curiosity. I love perplexity. Old habits, die hard and my brain still thinks of using Google or Bing first. However, Perplexity gives much better and more thorough answers backed up with links if I want to do more research. I love using my desktop computer as well as my iPhone. I’m trying to break old habits and go to Perplexity first
Started slow, but now it’s great. My original review said: “This thing is so slow with answers, you can almost hear the gears grinding.“ For me, it was slow at all times of the day and with every question, no matter how simple. I don’t know what happened since then, but this AI flies now! And the answers are accurate. I am now finding answers to things that I wouldn’t even know how to phrase to Google. Nicely done!
Great app but microphone needs worked on. I am a voiceover user, and I am running this on iOS 16.5.1. I can go to the TextField and use the dictation button on the keyboard were necessary. However, I noticed that when trying to use the microphone, voiceover, freezes. In order to get voiceover back, I have to exit the app, then turn, voiceover off, then turn voiceover back on. I also have to close the app in the process. I’m hoping that the microphone issue will be fixed soon. I actually heard about this app through an Apple podcast.
Your new search tool.. This is what Google’s AI could’ve been. It’s the best of ChatGPT with generative text but includes the source material of where it found the information. For work presentations, I find this incredibly valuable so I can double check and ensure the accuracy of a response. This is a great tool and whether you are just curious about a subject or need more rigor, you won’t be disappointed.
It is my Google. I use perplexity AI like most others use Google: it is my main search engine. I’ll even use it in my profession in my domain expertise because I’m skeptical enough to know when it may be giving me wrong advice. Where is it weak? It occasionally gets stuff wrong. If you bother to remain skeptical and check its sources when you so intuit, you could verify that so it’s not a real problem. Where is it strong? Its AI-searched and -generated summary answer saves me so much time by not having to look through ten websites and not having to search within the webpage for the relevant information (buried under a dog pile of advertising). Where am I apprehensive? Like all gatekeepers to information, eventually someone with big pockets will pay Perplexity to integrate its products and services favorably in the AI-answers…”pay to play.” When that happens, it will fall to 2 to 4 stars. Until then, it’s a real deal 5-star app.
My favorite app!. I love to spend time looking up everything that comes to my mind each day. Perplexity is the perfect app for this. It helps you dig so deeply into a topic with sourcing. You can also compare with different models to get a feel for its accuracy. I really like ChatGPT and Claude and having them in one place is so worth it. Another great feature is being able to choose the types of sourcing you want like published journals, social blogs and more. Keep it up Perplexity
Don’t take it at face value.. Pro member. This app has good potential, but unfortunately, you can't take its responses at face value. Like other current AI tools, it can sometimes provide inaccurate information. I specifically asked it questions on news stories I already knew the answers to, and it falsified information more than once. So, you still have to do your own research. It's disappointing because these AI tools are supposed to make tasks more convenient. However, they often require more fact-checking of the AI's responses rather than just verifying the information you're researching.
Not ready for prime time. I have no doubts that this will become an important tool in the near future, but currently it leaves a lot to be desired. Its necessary reliance on publicly available information hamstrings it massively when it comes to producing quality information that is well-supported. As a writing aid it is weaker than ChatGPT, with an even poorer, more banal way of communicating. Finally, its politeness protections are dialed incredibly high. This frankly makes it unacceptable for work in higher education which requires a critical eye to be turned to topics that the engine, irrationally, finds to be unacceptable. For a near toy, ChatGPT is far superior. For an educational support tool, this simply is not ready.
“Ask follow up” not working on iPad. “Ask follow up” doesn’t work on iPad if I try to type a follow up. Only works with the microphone speech button. Also the subscription is expensive if I consider I already pay other AI services that can also do search and many other functions. I would pay 5 bucks if they ever offer a cheaper plan. If I could use an OpenAI API key without paying I would use it. That aside its the best search option as of February 2024.
What you really want. The reality is that I want answers, not just a list of web sites. I find that with Perplexity’s AI brings the web’s content into crisp, clear answers, which is efficient and useful and in fact, with far better context than that available in traditional search engines. I’ve searched on topics in the last 24 hours as varied as recommendations for shade tolerant Vining flowers and how to install a VHF antenna. Perplexity is consistently helpful!
Better than Google search. This app is better than Google although the app probably uses Google in it searching but I find this interface to be very delightful to use. I’m using the pro version but it is so worth every penny you pay it’s an incredible app. What I like about it is you can ask it a question and then do a follow up on it very powerful, and it interfaces with Rabbit r1 a new AI device that I think will change a lot of things.
I use Perplexity every day, often many times during the day.. I use Perplexity for my own enjoyment and information. Sometimes I use it for work, but most of the time I’m just looking up some random thought that crosses my mind. It tells me why my neighborhood crows behave as they do, when to remove the leaves on my Amaryllis plant, the correct dose of CBD oil for my 4.5 pound dog, etc. etc. my thanks to whatever team developed this wonderful app.
Amazing a fantastic way to search and find articles and information. This is such a great search engine what much more than that it gives you detailed information without going through all these different websites it’s up-to-date. It’s very easy to use. I love to look to layout I believe this is the way of the future. Google you better look behind your shoulders.
Indispensable. In the olden days when the word google was still in the process of becoming a household verb, there was a snarky joke website called “here, let me google that for you.” I’m now starting to feel like there should be a here, let me perplexity that for you. I still don’t entirely trust Perplexity on some types of obscure questions - it definitely hallucinates from time to time - but as a tool for pulling the best references for me to put the wetware eyeballs on it’s game-changingly better than Google.
Stellar app which functions the way you would hope it to. Upon asking any question, it provides a consolidated answer and links to indicate where the server did its research. It also offers smart follow up questions. It answers whatever you ask coherently and is editorially short and succinct. I haven’t used it enough to know more, but I will persevere. Bottom line is, it’s far more useful and time optimal to provide one detailed answer, than to use google to hatchet together your own. That alone is a pure win.
