I can’t start this game. This game can’t be started. I download the in game update and then it tells me to Sign in with Apple or something like that . Looks like an issue

Game runs awesome. playing on the iPhone 16 nice smooth experience and graphics look very high end. If you are doubting picking up this game I highly recommend you try it out on its free version and then buy it and finish it all out, I promise it won’t disappoint!

See this type of suggestion. Many players will agree that this title is great, but an internet requiring game will always be overlooked by some, these constant and persistent suggestions seem to be ignored by you and while the root reason remains unclear, the mobile games market will always appreciate a fully offline available title, especially one such as this.

Amazing!!!!. This game runs perfectly on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. This is a must have. Honestly one of the scariest games I’ve played in a while, well worth the money spent.

Crashes instantly M1 IPad Pro. Was extremely excited, they very disappointed. Is it just me?

Plays great. I’m playing on an M4 Pro Mac Mini and the performance is perfect even with high graphics settings. I use an LG ultra wide monitor and it looks amazing. The only weird thing I’ve noticed is I’m using a PS4 controller and the button icons don’t match with what’s on screen (pressing Square on controller correlates to pressing X). A minor issue that doesn’t really affect gameplay.

We have come a long way. The fact that Resident Evil 2 Remake even runs on iPhone is surreal. The fact that it runs very smoothly, blows my mind. I remember the days of playing snake and flapping birds on early cell phones and now there are console/pc games like this that work in something that I can place into my pocket. Great work Capcom.

No iCloud Drive Data Found. As with RE7, this same error occurs. After I signed in with my Apple ID, the game froze. I closed the app; and, when I started it again, the error popped up. It states that if I continue in this state, my progress may not be properly recorded. I have no problem with iCloud, just with these two games. I will change my review once this is fixed. Thanks.

Insane!. iPhone 16 pro max…it’s crazy back in the day all I could play was snake on my flip phone. Only played the demo so far but no issues I’ll definitely be buying the game even if I don’t play it the whole way through just to support you guys! Outstanding work!

As a fan of the original PS1 version, this one does not disappoint!. Really enjoyed the new controls compared to the old “tank” style controls. I hope we will get the entire RE saga on Mac one day!

Perfect. Great game. Just make sure you put the graphics preset on performance and you play with a controller.

I won’t buy. I will not play this game nor give it more than 1 star until you remove the requirement for an internet connection to start the game. Not paying for a game I can’t play just because I have no internet. Shame on you Capcom!

Annoying. Is anyone having this issue? Every time I launch the game it ask me for my age. My iCloud log in and takes me thru settings. Like every time.

What did you expect?. It’s a really good game, but the quality and graphics are subpar to say the least. Why you can adjust the resolution nothing actually changed in the game and the lag is so intense not even worth 10 bucks better off playing it on console to fully experience the game

Best Horror Game for iPad. Love resident evil and glad a a favorite remake is finally on iPad. Graphics are very good and game play is same as a console version. Best played with a controller. Controller format is Xbox controller. I use a PS5 duelsence controller and can’t find a way to switch format. Not that big of difference, just different button placements. But over all, very good game play.

Keeps crashing on opening m1 mac. I have m1 macbook pro, and the game keeps getting stuck at the first "now laoding" screen"

Great Game! PS5 Controller won’t work!!. Great port of the game, Plays well on all my devices from M3 Pro MacBook Pro 16” to iPhone 16 pro, But only works with my xbox controller not the ps5 controller.

I know you say optimized for controllers but….. PLEASE fix the controllers. Village is a lot smoother also on the 16 PM than this game. Please make the controllers more similar to Village. Not everyone prefers to add a controller to play games like these. I’m not sure if that was Apples full intention. Please fix the controllers.

iCloud error. Can’t get past the sign in menu. Freezes when I click the ‘Sign in with Apple’ option.

Amazing Game, Amazing Price!. I can’t believe Apple brought Resident Evil 2 to Mac for just $10, it’s such an insane deal! This game is a classic, and everything about it is top-tier, from the story to the graphics to the gameplay. It runs so well on Mac too, which is awesome to see. Honestly, for $10, it’s a no-brainer. If you haven’t played it yet, you’re seriously missing out!

I haven’t felt this type thrill since playing the RE’s when they first came out, love this game but there’s another game I’d love to replay!>>>>>>Bring back the RE Outbreak (both combined into a new remake of the outbreak series!)! Multiplayer was the best of zombie shooting fun I’ve ever had in a zombie game. It would be perfect for a mobile game with online play! Oh and maybe combine something’s from other RE’s! Ppppllllleeeeeeeaaaaassssseeee!!!!! Thank you soo much for all the zombie killing you’ve provided!

Best mobile porting so far. Capcom really outdid themselves with this mobile port! The touch UI is spot-on, and the performance and graphics are top-notch. I wish Resident Evil 4 had similar graphic setting options.

FPS. I feel the game is amazing. More optimized than the previous resident evil games. Only problem I have with this game is to low fps. It feels like it’s stuck at 30 and I’m having trouble enjoying the game. Overall it’s a great game but if you could increase the fps, that would be greatly appreciated.

For $9.99!? This is a STEAL of a Mac 4 mini game!. Runs high graphics with ease! Game is as smooth as jello. I have not had the time to use a controller though. Regardless, the game works as it should (I am 1 hour into the game) and I highly recommend. Well done Apple and CAPCOM.

Couldn’t get beyond tiny screen. It opened in a tiny screen with no way to change it or do anything outside the game unless you quit the game. Fastest deleted item ever after an install.

Excellent Mac Port! Works Great! (M3 Max). Running on an OLED MSI321URX at 3008x1962 scaled Max Settings HDR turned ON MetalFX turned OFF VRR enabled Framerate on Variable. Range is 62-90fps No RayTracing option available. Fans will get loud on this one so use a good speaker or headphones to mitigate. As far as optimization, it’s well optimized for the silicon. 4.5/5 👍🏽 RECOMMENDATIONS If your scaled resolution is 2560x1440 or below, I suggest using SMAA aliasing since you lose specular highlights with TAA & FXAA+TAA. Only use those aliasing methods on higher resolutions so as to not look too blurry.

Sound not working. Tried to adjust to headphones and display, but still no sound.

An incredible port for and incredible game. I am really impressed with how great this port is. Smooth 60fps and solid texture quality is still in tact with this port. The port of RE4 Remake left me a little underwhelmed with it’s lower texture quality and frame rate but it seems like the team really focused on proper optimization with RE2 Remake. This version is a great alternative for people who don’t have a really high end PC for gaming. If mods could work with this port it would be even better.

More then worth it for the discount $10. This is a pretty good port with a lot of graphical options and maintains good frams on the 16pro. Frame rate take a hit on max setting with upscale off but that’s understandable and still pretty impressive

Phenomenal Game with Phenomenal Performance. As someone who has played this game on the PS5, It didn’t really click for me and so stopped playing after around 5 hours. However, this version on iPhone runs exceedingly well, far better than I expected while still looking incredible. Of course the game is already amazing, and though it isn’t really the best without an external controller, with a Backbone controller it is far better. I see a lot of people not really caring that much for these types of games releasing on iPhone, but for me having an all in one device that can act as a phone, media player, film camera, and a pocketable console, that’s extremely cool and useful. If you don’t want to invest in a Steamdeck or similar products, this is a fantastic way to play these types of games, especially with the new iPhone 16 Pro. I hope more developers port their games to the iPhone with similar quality to this.

Does not launch. The pictures in the App Store looked really beautiful. Excited to try this. Does not launch beyond “sign in with Apple”. Disappointing.

So fun I went past my break. It’s fun and runs well at resolutions below 2400x1080

Good mobile gaming!. Runs better than I expected! I had to get it since the launch discount is so good. There were some latency issues at first that I couldn’t solve manually changing graphics, so I chose the performance preset option which gives no latency and a mostly smooth 60 frames on the 15 Pro. Touch screen support for menus is an addition I’ve been begging for and it’s very welcome here! So are auto-fire and using the whole screen area for movement and camera if needed; I had forgotten my Backbone but I was still able to play smoothly because of these features. One main issue I have is with Mr. X: he’s definitely broken. Anytime I duck into a save room or the STARS office, he stays right out there and NEVER leaves. I’ve not had that happen in my 5 years with the game on consoles. Anyway, it’s RE2, one of the best RE games, somehow on an iPhone. 2024 is pretty crazy. Good port!

I CAN’T LOG IN TO THE RE2. When I download the game it’s ask me to Sign in with Apple, and when I press this button, the app is just closing every time. (How can I fix it?)

optimisation. i have played other capcom games, but optimization sucked. until i launched this game. if this is future of gaming on ipad i absolutely love it, i’m running it on ipad m4, and game is just amazing at max grapics. nice job guys.

Immaculate port. I played on an M4 iPad Pro 11” with a controller. The port is incredibly good, I’m amazed this game looks this good on such a thin device! It has decent graphical settings, allowing you to choose Metal FX upscaling quality, resolution, motion blur etc. i opted for the second highest resolution (for higher frames) with Metal FX at Quality, it didn’t disappoint. It stayed remarkably close to the 60fps mark, and during cutscenes the framerate is flawless whilst in-engine. Titles like this make it almost feel like we are in the future on the right device.

not playable on ipad. this game is unplayable on an ipad. you need a controller which i don’t have and never will have.

One of the best game ever played. This is one of the best games I ever played. I enjoyed the demo, I hope I could purchase the whole game to play. But anyways I really good. I would recommed you getting this game!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE2 Review. The game looks and plays phenomenally well on the m4 iPad. It lacks a few graphical options such as lighting but otherwise gives you enough to push a very clean resolution. The game is self plays smoothly and has great input controls with external gamepads. No bugs have been encounter in my 4 hours of gameplay and the game it self? Well great reviews from the console and pc editions say more than enough. It’s a must purchase and isn’t as pricey as most other larger titles like Assassins Creed Mirage. Highly recommend and look forward to seeing more games of this quality hit the App Store!

Will give me error can’t even play please fix and make the full version free. Yo like when I even try and download like. The files before you start playing it will give me an error code and man I’ve waited ages and it no work also can you guys port the original resident evils and make a remake of resident evil one and also make at least on of the resident evil mobile games free like the full game free

More Current Games Please!. I played this game on the playstation platform… I played this game on my G4 Quicksilver using the CVGS. Had lots of fun. I know that I will enjoy playing that new RE2 version.

Best Calibrated. Out of all the Resident Evil games on iOS, this one is probably the best calibrated. Of course it’s not at the same level as PC/Console but the fact that this game is even on mobile is mind blowing!

满满的回忆. 生化危机2重制版我已购买了三份了，以前用windows时在steam上买了并且通了关，后面在ps5上也买来体验新手柄。现在我用Mac，刚生化2刚上线就立马购入，时隔几年再玩，真是满满的回忆啊。M3Pro满血版的性能很惊艳，2.5k全高平均在80帧左右。工作之余能打打游戏，实在快活～

请多些宽容，软件想要变得完美，需要时间打磨. 在demo试玩阶段就已经发现的问题，部分画面有黑色色块，贴图没有渲染出来，例如警车内，疑似是为了节省机能而作出的妥协，里昂的车灯是黑色的，但是地面却又出现了光照的反射，这应该是bug了。我对此持理解态度，毕竟是软件发售的第一天，许多问题需要优化，但是有一点要求，起码让画面在色彩方面呈现出一种自然的感觉，具体可以参考xbox one 初代的画面，贴图可以糊，但是颜色一定要到位，不可以拿黑块糊弄人！

Failure to run on iPhone 16 Pro. When I download the additional portion of the game, it presents an iCloud error and fails to boot. Can’t run the game at all in current state!

iPhone 15标准版也能流畅运行. 720p30帧，部分场景有明显掉帧，但不影响游玩，连续游玩一个小时左右，无任何闪退情况，手机温度偏高但不烫，很推荐购入
