App failure. It would be nice if the app would even open.

Sketchy. Check the privacy report on your phone. This app is connecting to way too many domains, all sketchy. Who knows how much data this app has already stolen and distributed. Absolutely do not download.

Waste of Money. I got these for Christmas and when I set them up, they don’t even work they just flicker everywhere. They always disconnect from the Wi-Fi. This is a waste of money, so do not buy this.

Absolute nonsense. Tried for hours to go through pairing process with bulbs purchased only a year ago, and the app is useless to connect to the bulbs. Waste of money, no support, and terrible app design that leaves you completely stranded with how to use the products. Failure of design, beginning to end.

Works well though one issue.. Once you get signed in and mess with the app you find out how it works easily. But the email is sent straight to spam so you never receive it. Something about it makes the system think it is spam. But I used gmail to get into the spam folder since that was the easiest way for me to get to it. But it’s an excellent app at the core.

hard to find stuff. i cant find anything i wanted to make a custom color but i can find where to do that

Doesnt work!!!. I keep downloading it and it wont even start. It just flicks on then off. Garbage 🗑️

Don't waste your time. I purchased a floor lamp that came with one of these bulbs as soon as I read the instructions for how to connect it to my Alexa I began to worry the instructions were poorly written and there are several other negative reviews luckily I had a spare Sengled smart bulb that I set up with my lamp instead--if you have a different kind of smart bulb I highly recommend you use it otherwise good luck with this bulb from Ally express or whatever cheap Chinese manufacturer makes them

App doesn’t open.. Whenever I try to open the app it glitches and doesn’t open at all. I’ve tried deleting and installing again but that didn’t help.

help getting onto the app. is anyone else having a problem getting on the app? i’ve been trying to get on it but it takes me back to my home screen and won’t let me on it at all. it started acting like this a couple days ago.

Dont buy. My 10 year old ilumis work so much better. Plus chinese spyware included.

Recent update removes features. Unfortunately it’s not possible to keep schedules for things like bulbs when they’re set to Bluetooth now. This app was working great until I came home and the lights were out due to the update. So annoying.

I love it. I’ve been using this app for over a year now and I learned on like the first day how to use it very simple and is very helpful.

Update to work individually after being put in a group. You can’t control the bulbs individually after they are put in a group. That makes no sense

App won’t open.. App immediately closes after I click on it.

Great bulbs, need better music feature and Apple Watch app. I really like these light bulbs- they are great and provides the different atmospheres that I was looking no for. Wish there was an Apple Watch view and also I wish that my phone could play music through a speaker (especially with Spotify) while I am looking to sync the lights while I am playing music.

1 set of 2 stopped working. I purchased two sets at the same time and after a short time one set completely stopped working even though I’d had NOT made an change or adjustments since initially setting them up; the 2nd set continues to work fine. The app is busy and should be simplified.

Can’t figure it out. I can’t figure out how to group all of my lights - I would like to have all of them use the music sync feature but it doesn’t seem possible beyond using music sync on only one light at a time.

App closes when you try to open. When you try to open the app to change lighting settings, it doesn’t open 🙄

Worked Great Before Recent Update. Im just now trying this app after having it set up for months with no issues. The app won’t even open now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing.

App won't open. App won't open as of 10/6/23. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling it. Luckily I'm able to use Google Home as it is still linked to my bulbs.

Siri Voice Control doesn’t work. The lights have been perfect! I haven’t had any inconvenience except that the Siri voice control doesn’t work, I’ll say exactly what I put in, and it will say “You lights have successfully turned to blue”, or whatever. But my lights don’t change?

help. my light is fine. other than the fact it keep randomly turning back on after i’ve turned it off. then when i go to the app to fix it, it will not connect.

Eh app needs help, lights are okay. I got these lights off TEMU for cheap, they work great! However with the app- please, just made it easy. We don’t need a million screens. I just want my color wheel & favorites tab. I think an over all reduction in these useless options will benefit the user from being so confused. They are lights, make them useful and easy! :)

amazing. This perfect it allows me to connect multiple of them all at once and it’s super easy. Just login and connect to Internet.that how easy it is

Not enough holidays.. I was hoping that if I left these up all year, I could re program them for each holiday but they only have Christmas and Halloween. You can program pixel by pixel yourself but it not user friendly. I wish they would update with St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mardi Gras, etc.

This generation lacks common sense. Super simple assuming you have a little bit of brains. Email will be in spam. Why would you not look in your spam mailbox FOR A $3 lightbulb from CHINA? You think this should have found its way to your primary box you need to understand this is a Temu or wish or aliexpress led bulb. Play around with the app, should take 10min TOPS to figure it out.

it disconnects from my Wi-Fi couple times. every time I try to change the color, it disconnects like it disconnected from from the app and I have to do I have to redo the whole thing

Will disconnect randomly. I’ve had 8 of these smart lights for 3 years now, and only 6 have ever worked. They will randomly disconnect, and won’t cooperate with my Amazon Alexa, no matter how many times I reset and reconfigure the devices, relink the accounts, or straight up unscrew and rescrew the bulbs. They work great when they do, but more of a hassle than not. Do not recommend.

Stuck in Sign Up Screen. I mean from one developer to the next… bro get me out of the sign up screen. I’ve been wait 20 mins for the code and still nothing

Looks beautiful but disconnects randomly from my Wi-Fi. I’m not sure if I’m the only one dealing with this but sometimes my bulbs will randomly disconnect from the Wi-Fi and I have to go and configure it again and basically ruin all of the scenes that I have saved for backup. This has happened multiple times and honestly it’s a headache. Next time I will probably research better before buying.

Why location permission?. Light bulb works great. Not sure why it needs a location permission, feels like I’m being spied on.

App bugs. App worked fine the first time I used it. After setting a “schedule” for the lights to turn on in my sons nursery, now an error code shows up every time I attempt to hit the schedule button. I’ve tried deleting the device, restarting, deleting the app. Nothing works and now I’m stuck with these lights continuously turning on and off at a time I don’t longer wish. Frustrating to say the least.

Could be so much better…. This app reminds be of smart lighting apps when the services first launched 10+ years ago. There is so much potential, but the user interface beyond the pretty honeycomb designed Home Screen is just difficult. Simple things like saving a scribble as a scene, or being able to sync across all devices are unavailable. Setting colors isn’t easy. You can’t dim the lights without creating a completely new pattern (with the exception of plain white). Not being able to copy/duplicate scenes so you always have to start fresh instead of on a template you know is annoying. And the playlist feature just sets off all triggers at once instead of timing them. Finally, the lack of IFTT capabilities is disappointing too. It’s almost 2024, but this app is very much in 2014. All in all I think this app ~could be really great~ but it’s very archaic when it comes to smart light controls. Unfortunately I have to use this app for my roofline lights so I will be patiently waiting for version updates and continuously sending feedback offering improvements. I will say however the support team is incredibly responsive and any time I’ve submitted a ticket with a question, a response is in my inbox within 24-48 hours.

Please Help. To the powers that be: In your next update would you please make a bigger on/off switch on the favorite Icons. It’s too small. To Users: This app is fine. I know a lot of people have given this app low reviews because the bulb keeps disconnecting from their wifi but these app developers are not responsible for owners poor wifi. You need to have strong wifi signal to keep these lightbulbs connected. If your wifi is weak you will have connection issues. That’s not the manufactures or the app developers fault.

Suggestions. app works great so far with the new smart light I got. I was wondering if you guys could add a timer option in the app where you can set a specific amount of time 0-24 hours for when you want the light to turn off from when you press on it. Also, a big feature other apps have that I don’t believe this app has is the ability to choose from multiple Power-on behaviour. this is where you can choose what you want to happen with the light when you turn it off then power it back on. you can choose to set it to the default colour/mode, choose to restore your last used colour and brightness, or you can customize the colour and brightness. this feature would be a game changer for me and will add lots of functionality to my light. Really hoping you guys can add these, thanks for your time.
