It doesn't do anything. I downloaded and opened the app. It starts off with a "scanning" page but nothing happens. There are only two buttons- "scan" and "settings"- none of which do anything when you select them. I'm confused. What does it scan for exactly??

It won’t work. So I got this app and I have daybetter leds and it still won’t connect so do I have to get a certain brand for it to work or what??

RBG. I use them on my car for RBG halos in headlights an work great, if only it ran as a background app an didn't have to resync all the time would make it better an I can refer a lot of people is that is done !

Won't save colors.. Please fix the issue where it won't save the custom setup. I love the idea but really need that fixed.

It needs an update. It's an awesome app. But it won't work with my music I just downloaded from iTunes so it needs an update. Other than that I don't have any complaints it would be nice to adjust the brightness of of the light in everything not just the color wheel

Awesome app. Love the app. I'm getting an error when trying to play some of my songs. I've updated all my devices. i4s, iPad, i5s. Would love app to be available on my computer.

Great app but needs work on the music controller. Great app! The app works well for setting up routines, picking a specific color and setting the brightness. The music controller needs work though. 1.) The volume starts out high and quickly drops. Should be constant volume. 2.) Support to add songs to a playlist should be added. Ideally the controller should control to whatever is playing on the device rather than the app playlist. 3.) The app only controls the brightness of the lights to the volume of the beat. Color changes every few seconds. Color should change to a pitch change instead. Also strobe mode should be added. I had this on another controller that worked from a mic. Worked good. Other than these items I love this RGB controller. Great job!

Need spotify. Good app. But a few issues they need to work on. 1. Let 3rd party apps like spotify connect with the app to play music not on your iPod 2. Let us get to the home button while music and lights play 3. Make a hip hop option instead of jazz! 4. Actually update the music with the lights for once!

Doesn't work for me. I have led strips light and its not working for me I don't know why!!!!

Need to update the software!. I love the module but I also have several of the USB modules and there software has been updated several times and now includes allowing the lights to go with sound from the microphone. Also the custom part in this software won't let you save. I really like the wifi module but the app software has kept me from buying more.

Needs more basic features!. The app works as it's supposed to and smoothly, but there are basic functions this app should have, like saving fine tuned colors to be able to jump back to without having to dial in and adjust it every time you want the color back, and would be nice to individual buttons to adjust the R,G, and B to be able to more fine tune your colors one click at a time instead of just getting close by slowing moving your finger around the color wheel

Nice, but... Won't save sequences on iOS 8 on iPhone 6. Developer: you need to rewrite code to access storage properly on iOS 8! This is really apples doing, but developers should test before release.

Issues with music. Everything worked fine for a while, then the new update came out for the iPhone introducing the apple music side of things and now the app won't let me play my lights with music! App definitely need some attention. Have talked to Apple they can't help can't seem to locate a way to talk to creator but I don't seem to be only person with this issue!

Works perfect!!. Basic controls works fine, no problems with music reproductor.

It’s amazing! NOT. This app is awful it can’t even find my LEDS and I have tried over and over for it to find my LEDS still ain’t working I would not waist your time on this

Unclear. There are no clear instructions.. Does this work for an actual lightbulb or the flash on my phone? I'm stuck on a page that says devices list and I'm not sure what that means or how to put stuff on the list.. I'm reading the reviews and no one has had a problem with that so could someone please write a review on how it works?

Can’t connect to my zj-wifi-370. Though this is the software required for my controller, it can’t connect. I also can’t seem to find any way to contact support. The device shows up in the device list, but can’t connect. No amount of resetting (per the manual) or retrying has made this work. Manual says next step is to try a different controller.

Finicky. If you don't set it up to run off your home network you have to switch between your home network and the LED network. Seems to drop the home network a lot. Had built in setting to sync iTunes playlist with lights, but doesn't work with all songs; keeps saying I need to update my iOS (running 7.1.1, most up to date). Otherwise does what it suppose to, can turn lights on and off, set customized light schemes.

Convenient, but not.. The whole idea of this app is for quickness and convenience, but the fact that every time you go into this app you have to sync the wifi controller. It'd be nice if you can lock a specific wifi controller and when you push to go into the app it goes straight into controls.

Missing the most obvious feature. The app is a great way to control your LED strip, but it's missing what seems to be the most important and obvious feature to me: the ability to create your own colors and call them whenever you want. I was able to find a way to achieve that, but it's a complicated workaround. This app could definitely be improved and very easily so.

Update. Please update the music gives me errors about not being updated. Other than that the connection is fast and great!

lost strobe on 1.4.0. I had everything seteup on my motorcycle for this last year....the APP updated and now i lost my programmed set! not good!

idk. There needs to be a clearer statement of the fact that there IS a device you must use for this app to work. Otherwise, it's just really confusing when you get stuck on a screen that says 'Devices.'

Cool, but.... I love the control. I wish there was a way for the wifi to stay connected so when I want to shut it off after a bit I don't have to reconnect every time. Using an iPhone, iPod, or iPad.

Great App. Really love this product. My favorite is the music feature, but I wish you could control the color flashing while music plays instead of it just being random.

Won't save sequences on iPhone 6. Although the basic features work with my iPhone 6, it will not save custom color sequences. It will save the name of the sequence, but not the color information, which is kinda the important part. When I tried connecting with my iPhone 5, sequences were saved correctly. I really like using the color wheel to select colors, but without the ability to save colors to sequences, it's worthless to me. I wish there were another app available to control this device.

Concept Cool,But It's Buggy. Basic light control works fine and the choices are endless. However, when you try playing music, which should then create a light show, it is hit or miss. First a lot of the songs simply won't play, instead I get an error talking about a music format problem, whatever that means. Second, when I do get a song to play, a lot of times the lights flash once, then stay off. Changing the musical style at the bottom seems to help sometimes, for instance by changing from normal to jazz. But don't pick Rock, because the lights stay off. Also, are you supposed to be able to control lights remotely from your phone? Or only when you are on your wi-fi network? Would be nice if the instructions provided more info.

Needs a fix. Won't work with 95% of the music in my library and also would like to be able to choose what colors pair with music

Didn't Work!. I read through the reviews and figured it was a problem with the IPhone 6, but it isn't! Bad app for IPhone 5, and you need special light bulbs for it. 😡

Could not save modes on iPhone 6 plus. Could not save the diy modes on my iPhone 6 plus and I contacted the developer and they informed me to use the app "magic home wifi" everything works as expected now.

Needs work. The app needs work. Phone disconnects from the bulb quite a lot. Should add functionality to run in background or to work with other music apps as well. The lights aren't that bright either.

Wifi IOS controlled. I was looking for a direct connection to the 12 volt truck battery, then to the led light strip on my nerf bars. Controlled by this app on my phone which I carry a lot. No other remotes needed. I like that idea! The app works well to control the led's. The flash to music choice could be more responsive in the vocal ranges. I guess that will improve in an update someday. 4 out 5 for a cool app! Thanks

Great light controller, app needs attention.. Sequences don't save on iPhone 6, which is quite annoying... I'd really like to request a feature to enter the an RGB value. Also the ability to save a pallet from the wheel would be useful. Currently the wheel only allows one custom color at a time, meaning a color change looses your whatever color you previously created.

Crap - not even worthy of one star. Does nothing period!

Awesome and simple.. The unit is very simple. With the app from the app store you can easily can figure it as a standalone unit. Or you can use it as a device on your own Wi-Fi network. I have an Apple router and had no problem setting it up. Works 100% as described.
