Club Studio Comments & Reviews 2026
Needs a few simple things. Please ..... Can be slow refreshing at times. Sometimes freezes but getting better. Would love for the booking to push to iPhone calendar. And would love knowing what number you are on the waitlist. Thank you for adding the app on the Apple Watch.
The buggiest app that prevents you from scheduling classes. This app is so buggy and broken so often that it has impacted me from scheduling classes as quick as I can before it fills up. So many instances where the app bugs out to the point I can’t even schedule any classes and the only way to “fix” it is to restart my phone. But by then, the classes get filled up which is completely unfair to the user. We shouldn’t be punished if we get unlucky with how the app behaves. I hate this app so much that it makes me want to quit the gym altogether.
Not very modern. This app allows you to reserve, but doesn’t integrate into any calendar, so to check class bookings you have to physically go into the app. Feels outdated.
Calendar Integration needed. I don’t have a single other wellness app (Orangetheory, 24 hour, defense studio, core power yoga, etc) that doesn’t integrate the booking module with your calendar. It’s really troublesome to have to manually keep it in sync.
I like simplicity but need a few things more. I appreciate the simplicity of the Club Fitness app, and the achievements section adds a nice motivational touch. However, it would be more convenient if there was an option to directly book classes to Google or iCalendar. Additionally, having detailed class descriptions would be helpful. For instance, distinguishing between reformer classes for beginners and advanced practitioners would be beneficial for users to make informed choices. Overall, a great app with room for these improvements!
Amazing. Love how you can track achievements and see all that progress!
Such a bad app and every update is worse. Every update brings the opposite of stability fixes and improvements. Sometimes while on the waitlist you can unwaitlist and there are spots available, at what point are you added to the waitlist?
Good app. I’ve been using this all since they opened and haven’t had issues with it. I’ve been able to sign up for classes. I wish they would let you know what number you are on the waitlist so you could know if you’re likely going to get in.
Worst Class Booking Experience. Why would you need a double scroll on the booking screen? It’s so glitchy. Also, if the class booked while I was trying to figure out the double scroll, don’t just tell me it’s booked, add me to the waitlist automatically!
Reservations. Class booking should refresh in real time - showing where you are on the waitlist - if I'm #75 do I really want to waste my time to see if I can get into a 10 person max class for REFORM the next morning hoping I get into class ? Prob not. Would be nice if you are in the top 10 of the waitlist a notification is sent to you to let you know so you can either prepare for a class or cancel yourself off the waitlist.
Need Waitlist #. App is generally simple to use but as someone who has been going to this gym for over a year we need to be able to see what number we are on the waitlist.
Low quality app that lacks major features. Apps desperately needs calendar integration for class bookings. Also adding descriptions to the different classes would go a long way. It would also be great to list the area of focus for CS4 classes, ie: “Monday CS4 - Upper Body”. I’ve never been to a gym or workout studio that doesn’t share what muscle groups will be focused on for scheduled HIIT classes — this creates a huge problem for people who incorporate other workouts into their fitness regime (like regular weight training) and need to know which CS4 classes they can sign up for so they aren’t working out the same muscle groups out two days in a row, or even for people who have injuries and have to avoid working out certain muscles. So bizarre and I hope this gets fixed.
Works most of the time with a few bugs. I’ve been using this app most days for the past 6 months. It generally does what it is supposed to do. Recently I’m noticing that instructor names don’t always match their images, leading to confusion about who is teaching a class. Also when I get in via a waitlist, the instructor name on the notification I receive is sometimes different than what it shows in the app. I like most of the instructors but not all, and I try to avoid some classes. Given that the club charges for late cancellations, they really should be making sure the instructor shown is accurate. I also would have preferred that calendar integration be prioritized by the app developers over “Achievements”, which take up a ton of space and seem relatively useless to me. I guess some people need their gold stars tho.
Worst booking app. I’ve used.. Worst app ever, glitches especially when attempting to book classes.
Getting tired of selfishness. Booking/Waitlisting is absolutely ridiculous. People hog time slots. My guess is these are the same people who bought multiple packages of toilet paper during the height of the pandemic. Change this feature to make it more equitable or you will lose members who get tired of this nonsense. Don’t allow people to book more than 24 hours ahead of time. Or allow a max of 3 open bookings per person. Do something to make it ‘accessible’ for all the members.
Great easy booking system. Love this app and love this gym! Can’t get enough.
Impossible to book a class. Hi was told classes are added every night at midnight. I stayed up and it still showed all classes for the next 14 days are booked. Is this a joke?! I still haven't taken any group classes since they opened because I can't book any class at any time... please do something!
Increasingly difficult to see and manage bookings. Waitlist and bookings are in the same list with only one label distinguishing them. Because it is hard to get into classes i have 87 classes, 12 are booked and the rest are waitlisted. On the list it’s hard to see and requires detail review. A day view would be much easier to handle. Other suggestions include: Apple Watch integration for fitness app Calendar app Push notification for class reminders
Lots of bugs and usability is not simple. - Can’t filter by booked only classes ( I want to filter out waitlisted classes ) - Sometimes it shows class is opened to book but no spots available - no calendar view of all booked classes - no bulletin board for messages and updates from the club - app hanging and stuck on spinning - app is slow to refresh and display booking I’m still optimistic it will get better
Need to always close/open app. If you don’t close/re-open app, class status stays on waitlisted even if you’ve been moved to confirmed. I removed myself off waitlist within 12 hrs and was charged $10 as I had actually been moved to confirmed but app didn’t show it.
Gets the job done kinda. This app could use a make-over. It looks like someone at their office said “I’ve built an app before I can do that” and they just went with it. Most of the time when scrolling through available classes, the screen won’t allow you to scroll to the rest of the day and gets stuck midway through the list. I would like to see a way to track my check-ins. I like the achievements section, but I want to be able to track all check-ins so at the end of the year I can assess how many times I went to the gym, not just classes. It’s nice to be able to track month-to-month too so I can see if I’m working out more or less. A description of the classes would be nice too— like what’s the difference between yoga flow and yoga restore? I would also like to see the app send a notification to the front desk that I’ve arrived when I pull into the parking lot. The notification that pops up with my barcode when I arrive is very nice, but if the front desk can anticipate my arrival and say hello to me by name when I walk through the door— that would be the type of luxury experience I expect. Also, I think the barcode needs to be slightly bigger— the front desk sometimes has trouble scanning me in. I’m looking forward to seeing how the app evolves!
Not consistent system. So the app is not very consistent. When you try to cancel a class from your reservations and the home screen, when you are after the 12 hour period you’re supposed to get charged a $10 fee. However if you cancel from the reservations it doesn’t say that so if you don’t know any better you don’t realize that you are getting charged a $10 fee. A Calendar integration would be very good because a lot of other studio apps does this.
Terrible booking system. It’s 11am now I want to book 11am next Tuesday and it doesn’t show book buttons…. So I came here to review it…
Clunky and old fashioned. This app is so annoying to use and there are so many user friendly fixes that are common sense that would make it a good one. 1. When you are waitlisted for a class it doesn’t show you where you are in line so you don’t know if you are the next person or 20 people deep and should just get a different class 2. It doesn’t tell you if you are within the time frame cancellation window that charges you. There should be a notice that pops up when you cancel if you are going to be charged. 3. The UI when you book a class is awkward because over half of the screen is for different filters (date/ studio/ etc) and so you can only see three classes at a time as you scroll up and down so it is hard to compare what classes you’re interested in. The information could be much better formatted. 4. The app doesn’t sync classes to your calendar 5. People are allowed to book a week to ten days in advance. What about the people who have flexible schedules and don’t know their schedules that far out? It would be nice if there was a shorter booking window. 6. The cancellation window is 12 hours if you don’t want to get charged. That is a long window. Where is the flexibility? 6 hours would be much more reasonable before charging people.
Can’t activate QR code member on app. Needs improvement!! After downloading latest release it generates the wrong QR code for membership. Super frustrating
Horrible app. I stayed up until midnight just to sign up for a class and assuming everyone else is doing the same, the app froze multiple times and crashed. By the time it loaded, all the classes were already waitlisted.
Horrible App. The gym itself is nice however, the system is terrible. Classes release two weeks out at midnight every night. Two nights in a row I have stayed awake to try to get a spot and right at midnight the app completely freezes on me and I miss out on spots because all I get is a black circle and freeze. The app doesn’t show what place in line you are on a waitlist like many other gyms have - it would be nice to know if I’m #2 in line or #50. They say ‘come in’ and we can ‘probably’ get you in but what working busy person has time to kill to go over to the gym without even knowing if you’ll get into a class or not. They give all the spots to the people in the gym when I’ve been on waitlists for days and days. They also don’t enforce the cancellation policy so people just hog spots. Something needs to change with the system on how it’s ran because it’s not working.
Oversold and sales reps keep filling spots in classes. Other than everyone’s valid complaints of not being able to get into classes, staff started removing negative reviews from social media, and having influencers and staff post positive comments. The sales reps can also put prospects into classes taking up already very limited availability.
Could not get into a single class for a month.. This app, and the gym itself, are total disasters. I tried for an entire month to get into their HIIT class (CS4). Not ONCE was I able to do so. According to the gym, this was because a large number of members signed up for classes that they did not actually attend. So, this was supposed to be fixed with their new system whereby a member cannot book more than one class per day at a time and could do it only exactly one week (day and time) before the class starts. This “fix” didn’t do anything at all, however. I still couldn’t get into any classes, even when I tried to book exactly at the right time. Instead, I was waitlisted again. This happened multiple times. If you don’t mind paying a boatload of money only to then have to constantly compete with others just to get into a class, then have maybe you’ll enjoy this gym. Otherwise, don’t waste your time and money. I’m super disappointed, as I really wanted this to work. It’s clear, however, that they WAY outsold the number of memberships relative to the actual number of class offerings they have. Maybe they’ll get their act together someday, but I’m not willing to wait around (and pay exorbitant monthly fees) until they do. I’m out.
Check-in tab. The check-in tab should be first, not VIP pass.
Basic. Just really bad app! Need; Calendar integration Description of classes Going to My Account should tell me what package I chose and what I get, also a way to upgrade if I want, payment schedule Link to website Hours of operation
Slow. The app is super slow when trying to book an class, it takes many seconds to refresh and often times it fails.
