Not usable because speed is too slow. Great concept but it’s unusable because the type is too big and the script moves too slowly in the screen. Unless you want to spit out words at the same speed an elderly person with arthritis pulls coins out to pay the register, you need another app.

Pro?. It is called Teleprompter Pro but it is definitely an amateur hack app. I had some questions and the help desk took 12 hours to respond and only advised me to reload the app. I used it once, it didn’t work well, and I’ll never use it again.

Audio Clipping. Works quite well for the video and text portion, but the final audio clips quite profusely and any editing of the audio after production takes ages to process. (the app eventually crashes during this processing leaving you with no video). In the end I was left with a unusable video because the audio clipped so much you couldn't understand what i was saying.

Not helpful customer service and glitchy app. While I at first loved this app and how smooth it was to use it’s the backend I am extremely upset with. Though I have a yearly subscription every time I log in it re-charges me for a new subscription. I now have 3 active and charged subscriptions off the same appleID somehow. When trying to reach out to their customer service I have gotten no assistance at all and was brushed off as “you need to cancel yourself” - which is great but I asked for help being refunded for the additional charges that shouldn’t have happened.

0 out of 10 do NOT recommend!. I started with the free trial and it seemed to be working perfectly for what I needed it to work for. Unfortunately, as soon as I accidentally missed cancelling the trial, it started freezing up, the video recordings are very low picture and sound quality. Very glitchy and robotic! I hope they fix these issues because, now, I’m stuck with this app for a year. I definitely would not have paid over 70 bucks for this low quality and minimally maintained app.

It works sometimes. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes you record a 2 minute speech and turns out it muted the audio the whole time

What am I doing wrong?. I have downloaded this app twice. Once for about three weeks ago and today. Both times it just opens the front page and nothing else. It’s just even part of an opening page with no option to begin or get started or to scroll the page is just frozen. What could it be that I’m doing wrong?

Camera selection. I just downloaded this app. Seems fine BUT, as far as I can tell it only allows gor the screenside camera to be used. Maybe I'm missing something. But if not, it will be a severe limitation for me.

Just purchased, app not working.. My very first try after purchasing, and the app just closes every time I try to make a video. I hope it is just an update or something, and they get it fixed quickly.

Download and failed. Downloaded the app to use it every time I open the app it got stuck on the reading screen and never actually loaded the app. Kept it on my phone for over a week and it still never worked.

Teleprompter problems. The teleprompter app is great, however be very cautious as it kept trying to charge me even though I discontinued. I ended up having to cancel my card so they can’t charge me. I sent emails but they said they couldn’t cancel and I would have to go to Apple? It’s unfortunate because I liked the app, but don’t trust billing.

Excellent. Really wonderful easy to use system

Good video but frustrating post production. The teleprompter is a good feature and the recording are fine. But it’s crazy frustrating that you can’t save a video. Every time I try a new take, I have to export the old one or the app deletes it. That means I can choose the best of multiple takes before deciding which to edit. Also, the volume keeps being too low and while you can raise it in post production, it’s painfully slow and if your phone goes to sleep it stops. App needs work before you charge $9 a week, still feels mvp.

Houdini. I like everything about it but just everything I wrote for the last few days just disappeared and there is no way to retract it when you go to settings it just says rate us instead of giving us the option to look back and find what was deleted or what is lost. Very unfortunate.

Terrible. I never leave reviews, but this app has screwed me so many times, I felt an obligation. I love that the issues are ever changing, so you never know what you’ll get. Sometimes it glitches and distorts your voice. Sometimes the sound and video are thrown off. But whatever the issue is, you’ll have recorded a piece of content only to find you have to re-do it. This would be significantly less frustrating if I hadn’t paid $70 for it.

Can’t actually save the video from free version. The app lets you select to keep using the free version but that just means that you can write a whole script, film a video and then discover at the end that if you want to save the video, you have to pay for it. Don’t download unless you want to pay.

Too slow. I want to like this app but unfortunately it has a lot of issues. Number one to adjust the volume takes a very long time and it has its glitches and cuts off and it doesn’t pre-save the video so after editing, adjusting the volume, the app closes and everything is lost a huge waste of time, especially for a business owner

Don’t have complete control of phones camera. Great feature but was really wanting total control of the iPhone camera.

Sounds like a great app. Doesn’t work.. I downloaded the app and subscribed to the trial. When I tried to use it for the first time, it gave me a countdown 5-4-3, and then the app crashed before the recording started. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. The same thing happened again. Sorry, I’m giving up on this one.

Garbage trial? Probably garbage app.. Volume is almost nothing and can’t adjust it. Can’t save even a 10-second video without paying. Can you imagine if you test drove a car but you couldn’t drive over 5mph or turn on the radio? What if a shoe store only let you try the left shoe, and you weren't allowed to stand up? I think if it was great you’d let people actually try it.

Too many glitches. I purchased a subscription and have a mixed review; though the app doesn’t work well enough to continue using it. The ease of writing a script is great, however, over 50% of the time, when I go to record, the script has vanished. After recording, the video quality is mostly subpar and has an obvious lag, which I can now see while recording. The quality was much better a few months ago but within the past month or less, the app has become useless.

Not worth the high price. I wanted to try the product out and was forced to pay $8.99 just for one week. I canceled the subscription immediately and was subsequently charged an additional $8.99 plus another $29 for something else going to related from this company I don’t even know what it was. Very unscrupulous fee charging! I cant believe they didnt even gave a free trial (I’ve learned my lesson to never pay for even a week of something just to try it out!) In fact, the fees aren’t even consistent from what they advertise in the App Store and what you get charged for. The app worked but it was slow and clunky. definitely not worth $8.99 a week for such a simple thing.

Incredible. This app helps create paragraphs that are professional, insightful, and extremely helpful. The only thing I have to say is that I wish it was for the monthly prices. Some people can’t afford a full year at one time.

Not user friendly. The UI of the app is not straight forward. Videos can’t be saved on the app in case you want to use an old take or review it without leaving the app. Worst of all, my videos are getting saved with no sound. What’s the point of a teleprompter app if you can’t download a video with sound?

Loved it!!!. I use this app to record my vlogs and it’s absolutely amazing! I always had a problem with remembering what to say next while I was talking in front of a camera and Teleprompter simply saved my life. I can read script while recording my videos now. Definitely recommended.

Not going to try paid version. First of all, it irks me when apps are “free to download” but you can’t do anything with it. I was able to add my text, record my video. But if I want to download it, I have to pay. That doesn’t do any good. Before I figured this out, I did a few takes. When I finally nailed it and got to where I wanted to edit it- there was no sound. This happened numerous times. Finally nailed it, it had sound, and realized I couldn’t download it. I did like the features of the teleprompter. Adjusting the size, spacing, speed, etc. So that’s the 3 stars. But it was like 50/50 when it actually recorded the sound.

Can’t save my video. I did 4 takes of my video & none of them got saved. I thought it’d automatically be saved to my photos when I hit the stop button, but it wasn’t there. And even when I got the message asking me to save & I clicked Yes, it still wasn’t saved. I wasted more than an hour of time for nothing. Plus there’s no free trial offer, so I just wasted $9. I’d like a refund.

Highly recommended. After reading other reviews here, I was a little bit hesitant about using this app. However it worked very smoothly for me. I haven’t encountered any problems so far. I was able to record my videos for Instagram. It is nice to have different aspect ratio options. So, I highly recommend this app. If I face any issues in the future, I will update my review.

Constant Bugs!. I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and I subscribed to the premium version of this app. I can’t record more than one video without the audio messing up. Either audio stops working or it glitches. I can’t save drafts of videos, I either have to download the video or delete it. I have to restart the app everytime I want to make a new one. Very disappointing. I want my money and time back!

Your app doesn’t work and I paid the year already. Switching is going on with your app Every time I make my script and I’m ready to save the video, a message pop up that takes me to Pay again. I need help! Otherwise I want my money back

Error Message. Just stopped working Delete the app and reinstall it to fix the problem.

Lost my footage!. I lost 30 minutes of recording on this app, it just gave up on exporting or loading and I’ve wasted so much time sending my footage to who knows where. Don’t bother if you plan on recording long takes.

Disappointed. I needed to do for a presentation at school. Paid for one week. The features were not there and wasted my time. Hard to find the scroll to voice. App interface is a time waste compared to other apps I have used.

Not Free to Use. I loved that I could finally record teaching videos with this and it was super easy to use and customizable to fit my needs… until it said I had to pay to even download the video. I had to screen record my video and i’m not doing that everytime so I downloaded a better app.

Crashed. All it does is crash. Can’t even open support. Update** After a couple of days I finally got an update which fixed the problem.

The app freezes up on me. this app I downloaded freezes up . I had to turn off my phone at least three times to get out of the app. I canceled and asked for a refund and they denied the refund. I spent $69 plus taxes which adds up to $77 for something that does not work on my phone. I deleted and reinstalled and it still freezes. There's a glitch in this, and the product doesn't work for me

Very useful and helpful. I have been using this app for two months and the time it usually takes to record videos for my Instagram profile has lowered dramatically with this app

Worst. Absolutely the worst app I’ve used. Pure TRASH. It gets stuck once you finish recording a video and try to save it. Had to re-record my video at least 6 times. Deleted this waste of time trash and will never use it again.

Life Saver. This is a really neat app! The way you’re able to read the words and not make it as if you were reading a script all from your phone is handy!

Good functions but too slow. I like the basic functionality of the app but it has proven to be stupid slow in saving a recording. 20-25 minutes to save a 1 minute video is just not up to standard. I paid for this version thinking I’d get better quicker service but nah, it’s still turtle slow.

Gone downhill. Since the summer, they have gone down hill in quality of the app’s processing. It causes my phone battery to get hot than normal and then the video capture begins to lag only after 15 seconds! I have canceled my plan and found another that really works and does not overheat my phone!

Best one I’ve tried.. I make a lot of ads for social media and can’t memorize all the short scripts I write. This app solved the problem and saves me so much time. I was very surprised how easy it is to use and the video quality exceeded my expectations.

Good but no free version. On the store page, they make it sound like they have a free version, with “in-app purchases”but all that means is you can’t actually save/export even your first video unless you start paying monthly. ( at least, every time I tried to save my video, even though I thought I was on a full trial, it would take me to the “subscribe” page. I found no solution and u wasted my time making the video. Downvoted for that. Just be upfront about it being a paid app… that doesn’t work! The app itself: Useful, nice large buttons. The UI to figure out teleprompter speed could be improved, so there are fewer taps involved when setting it up. Overall good, but misleading practices to trick people into paying are cringe. I lost trust in your brand. Goodbye

Removes everything good about the iPhone camera. This app is good for reading a script and recording but you can forget about the quality. From crushing the 4k iPhone look to removing stabilization completely this app takes it all away. Not to mention the awful microphone audio. I wish I could share how it looks when I film on my phone with and without this app because the difference is HUGE. I feel like I wasted my money buying the full version. Honestly I’m just disappointed an app that should be so simple has so many flaws. Honestly not even sure if I can use a lot of these takes I’ve been filming due to the lack of quality visually and audibly

Awful App - Do NOT Waste Your Money. After spending the better part of an hour, recording my testimony for a project I’ve been working on for over a year, I thought I had a clip that I could use for the premiere of a film happening tomorrow night in Florida. Unfortunately, the app wouldn’t allow me to either save, or share the file. This is despite the fact that it on a seven day full access trial for this app. I ended up losing all of the work I tried to put into it and never got the clip that I needed. When developers put out a crappy product, they should expect crap reviews. And that’s exactly what this is. I hope no one ever spend any money purchasing it.

I have paid for the app and keep getting charged to use it again. Everytime I enter the app it charges me again despite having paid for one year up front on the same device. I go to request help and the form is so complicated and requires the app version detail which I cannot find anywhere so I cannot submit the help form.

I hate this. I failed my English assessment because of this. I had three mental breakdowns because it wouldn’t work and i couldn’t use anything else.

Trial is costly!!. I wanted to trial and during the setup there was only the option of making an annual payment of $105.99 and the cheaper option of monthly wasn’t visible!!! My trial ran over and now I can’t get it refunded, app developer is saying contact apple and apple link shows no option to ask for app refund. I’ll give you a star for your sneaky setup where the annual payment is the only option and you can’t get refunded, you deserve no other subscriptions.

Doesn’t work on iPad 10 Gen. Spent hours on recording then once I finally had it done, the recording defaulted to preview and deleted itself. Stay clear of this app.

Stopped working after 4 months. Amazing app but started glitching. Pretty upset i spent $100 on this. Its not my phone or internet.

No saving if you don’t pay. The app doesn’t allow you to save or share even a single video if you don’t pay. Don’t download if you’re looking for a free tool.

It doesn't work. Whats going on? You were great when we first started now every video i make the sound cuts in and out. Looks like the bugs are not fixed and I keep recording videos wasting my time on an app that doesn't work. Fix it and maybe I will come back but in the mean time I will try to get my money back And look for another Teleprompter app Peter Woodbench.ca

In theory great app…but not in reality. I had to record some stuff for work, should not have taken me two days. Every time I would record the video and click finish nothing would happen, I couldn’t access any of my videos through some weird work around I was able to make it work but it took me two days. Also everytime I’d use the app I would have to shut down my iPhone because me phone would freeze and not apps would become unusable. I wish my experience was as good as everyone else’s, but unfortunately this app caused me a lot of wasted time :/

Subscription and Payment bugs. I pay for a year’s subscription and then it keeps prompting me to buy a subscription, while interrupting my video creating. Lost hours of work.

this app is not working. I have been trying to use this app and pay this money and not working. It has it would not move. It does not let me do anything.

Ruined, garbled audio. I made a 20 minute video using this app. It took 2 hours for it to process and when it was done, it was completely unusable. The audio is garbled horrifically. I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Don’t bother. I got the app just to make a short 4 minute video, but when you go back and see what you recorded, the video is bad quality and popping noise and glitching. 8.99 wasted 😔

This app is a scam. There is no way to navigate to an account to cancel app. This is not a legitimate app. There is no navigation, no interface. The only button charges you. Do not purchase , unless you wanna lose $70 for an app that is completely useless.

I think it’s actually a scam…. I actually think this app is a scam. It told me I was getting a free trial but charged me $60 anyway, it doesn’t have voice-activated text speed, and it won’t let me download any of my videos, even though it charged me for a premium account! Go elsewhere.

Green screen Option. While the teleprompter is awesome, my green screen feature doesn’t work. That’s disappointing.

Couldn’t get past…. I couldn’t do anything beyond the splash screen tried three times rebooting the app and twice rebooting the phone. 3 strikes, you’re out!

SCAM. I opted for a 7 day trial of this app yesterday. Upon opening it I realized it was not what I needed and immediately cancelled the subscription. This morning I received notice from Apple that I was charged the full fee the same day. BUYER BEWARE.

Noting in this app is working. I downloaded the app to give it a try but, nothing is working in this app. You can see the terms of use or privacy policy and even the Help button doesn't work!!!! They charged me $70 for premium!!!! What is this premium that nothing is working. I want my money back ASAP!!!!!

Canceled Subscription. I canceled my free subscription on the day I was supposed to but they charged my account anyway. There is no contact information to dispute the charges. Find another app

Pay to play. The app let’s you record your whole video, edit it for an hour, and then, in order to save or share it you have to pay to play. Gross you could at least warn me.

Makes you pay money for videos. Hi, I used this for my video homework. The app was incredible, but it did not let me save my video without paying. Yet I chose the free version.

Garbage. This app is incredibly limited, glitchy, it crashes, and is incredibly incredibly incredibly overpriced. You might as well tape paper to the wall behind your phone.

Scam. Paid for the app and charged me three subscriptions. Does not recognize I paid for it three times for a full year and when I record videos wants me to sign up for another subscription. Apple has refused to refund me and no contact from the app for support.

Glitchy. The app had glitches simply entering my scripts and now it won't even open past the loading screen. It's unfortunate that I paid so much for the yearly subscription and cannot even access my work.

Does not work. I recorded several videos and none of them were saved. It crashes often and takes a century to load up. It’s such a good concept but a waste of money.

Cancel subscription. I am not able to cancel my subscription. As of now I don’t to use it right now. I don’t see the cancel subscription option in the app. Kindly help me with the situation.
