Safari error. It says safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found? Can I get a refund? I tried opening a few pages and this is all I get!!

Smooth and efficient!. Series 5 Apple Watch here - this browser does a surprisingly good job at loading and displaying web pages on such a small screen. It makes it easy to sneak a peek at some of my favorite websites while at work. I had to experiment a bit with the best sites to bookmark in the companion iOS app. I noticed that some will (understandably) crash if I scroll too fast, but otherwise no complaints. If the app developer is taking suggestions: the ability to configure webpage settings would be appreciated.

Only bought it today but so far am impressed. Ubrowser works quite well seeing as the Apple Watch doesn’t have its own browser. There’s WebKit, but it’s got quite a few limitations. Ubrowser has limitations as wel, but I’ll discuss those soon. It’s not lightning fast like Safari on iPhone, but that isn’t that much of an issue. Websites are surprisingly scaled properly to the watch, so everything is readable and the buttons are large enough to press. Overall, it’s quite nice. Now for the limitations, however. My main issue is that you cannot sign in on websites. I tried to go to Google chat and the sign in page repeatedly loaded and reloaded when I tried to sign in. Video playback also doesn’t work, although the browser recognizes a video. This isn’t a huge issue, but still a little annoying. Should you buy it? Here’s my verdict, after a day of use: Yes, you should. It’s only $1 (for me), and for that dollar you get an almost fully-functional web browser (the only downsides being what I listed above). The companion app on your iPhone makes it easy to add bookmarks for sites you visit regularly. Duck-Duck-Go is not as fast, nor as smart as Google, but it still comes up with relevant results.

Great for the price. microBrowser obviously won't replace iOS Safari, and for me, honestly, it's more of a novelty than something I expect to seriously use very often, at this point. That said, it works suprisingly well on many sites - especially on the larger screen AW Series 7. It's best for sites that don't require much interaction. If your Watch has an internet connection via WiFi or Cellular, you don't need to have your iPhone with you to use microBrowser. This can be handy if you're jogging without your iPhone, or if you forgot to bring your iPhone with you. Regarding my "novelty value" comment. That's how I felt about much of the Apple Watch functionality when I got my first Watch, a Series 3. I thought it was super cool to have essentially a tiny computer on my wrist that I could use to check my messages, see a few news headlines, get a quick overview of the weather, etc. But I never really relied on that early Watch, except for fitness tracking. But the Watch models of at least the past 2 years are far more capable, faster, and have bigger screens than the Series 3 - and they are far more useful in their own right. I don't regret buying that Series 3, and I absolutely don't regret buying microBrowser for 99 cents. I've already had way more fun with it than with most 99 cent games I've purchased. And I do see myself using it occasionally to check some of my favorite websites when I'm on the go.

Watch app nowhere to be found. Update: I updated to iOS 17 and it solved the issue. I also received a response from the developer indicating the issue has been resolved for pre-iOS 17 watches. Thanks to the developer for the reply. I’ve adjusted my rating accordingly. After download there is no browser to be found on my watch. It’s nowhere in the watch app, either already installed or available to install. And no instructions as to how to use it. Just updated to iOS 17 so maybe that has something to do with it.

Does not connect to companion app. Without the companion app, it’s not very useful.

Love it. I love this app. The one thing that I wish you could do is to import your favorite websites from Safari. Hopefully it will come out with an update. Great start though.

Must have!!!. So far this is the perfect app purchase. The bookmark feature makes so much sense. I can now quickly access sites I frequently visit on my watch. The app runs smoothly and pages look amazing. Without hesitation I recommend this app!!!

App Issues. Hi all. I saw this app came highly recommended and I happily paid for it. Issue is, I can’t seem to connect to any website. I can’t even search anything. Maybe it’s user error, I don’t know. But please advise and maybe send an update. I’ll update the rating that this app so surely deserves.

Close button consumes a large amount of screen space. The app has a lot of potential. But even on my Apple Watch Ultra, the size of the text is so small it kills my eyes. There is no way to adjust the size of the text as far as I can tell. On top of that, the close “X” button takes up about a ¼ of the precious screen real estate of the Watch.

I was curious. Ok in a pinch I guess. I don’t know why they didn’t scale down safari they know how we Apple users are if your gonna sell a watch why a third party app, from the watches App Store at that! I hope it’s safe that’s all I can say but idk why Apple Watches don’t have safari such a let down . Google watches have Chrome , oh well

Excellent browser for the Apple Watch. It works amazing for the Apple Watch! Only problem I have with it is that the close option is constantly on screen while browsing which takes up a noticeable amount of space for the already tiny screen.

A must have app but one feature missing :(. Finally a web browser for the watch but there is currently no way (V1.2) to bypass the invalid certificate warning in order to access LAN sites such as switch, modem, router, AP portals.

since the 90s. my go-to test website has been "cnn.com" - and wow, if this didn't perform perfectly. if you don't want to rely on siri's "here's what i found on the web" then just buy this app already

Update took away the compilation. Enjoyed the app until the last recent update, took the app away from being added as a compilation on the ultra watch on iOS 9

Amazingly useful and convenient. Love this app. So easy to bookmark and lightly browse the internet. I use it way more than I thought. If possible, I would add a vote for back/forward/refresh buttons and the ability to use a different search engine to avoid the typical first time pop-ups and cookie notifications. If you have an AW7, the keyboard comes in very useful with this app!

Log in didn’t work. Was hoping to get it to log into flightbridge.com but expected it might not work. It didn’t and so while my main intention was for that, it is simple enough for certain other websites. Hopefully this could be updated in the future since I don’t mind logging in everytime if it still is possible.

Surprisingly useful!. I will add my compliments to the developer for this app as it works rather quickly & love the ability to open a website via a complication! Will also add my vote in favor of back & forward buttons though, and a refresh button. But good job so far.

Surprisingly great and useful!. Apple Watch screens are tiny, but this app is a surprisingly capable and useful browser that fits in the limits of such a tiny device. Especially if you have an Ultra with cellular service, this is a worthy app to install on your watch!

Awesome, but I have noticed a bookmark bug. Hooray! Thank you so much for removing the ‘continue’ prompt. That now makes this one of my absolute favorite apps for Apple Watch!! One bug note: if I uninstall the app from my watch and then reinstall it, my saved bookmarks from the iPhone don’t seem to port over again.

Great app. A great app , would be worth the couple of Pennie’s it costs , but missing one feature . I hope the developer to take some time , implement a previous page button. My reasons With Siri : I can open the web pages with Siri, navigate better , I don’t have to reopen the webpage again if need to go back but if you put your wrist down you have to do it all again which is time consuming. This is free. With this app: I don’t have to worry about the pages getting closed if I put my wrist down , but if you need to access the previous page , I have to reopen the website again which is also time consuming. This is paid. Please either implement a previous page button , or make sure web history includes every single pages we clicked or navigated on or off from. That we way can easily reopen the previous page. Now, I don’t know how much time it would take or what kind of limitations you might have to deal with. It will take this greatly designed app , yet mediocre because of missing one single feature to the very best. I’m asking you to do this because I really like the way you designed this app. Thank you for creating the app , and in advance thanks for the upcoming feature.

Clever App. Clever implementation, good for what it is!

Needs work. Πολύ καλή προσπάθεια αλλά στερεί σε πολλά.. για λογαριασμούς όπως Facebook κλπ πρέπει κάθε φορά να βάζεις usernames και password και αν είσαι τυχερός θα δουλέψει.. Φυσικά και δεν μπορεί να παίξει βίντεο, και σε αρκετές σελίδες ενώ μπαίνει μια χαρά δεν μπορείς να ξεφορτωθείς το παράθυρο «αποδοχή cookies» με τίποτα όποτε δεν μπορείς να δεις και το περιεχόμενο..

Cannot login on websites. Whatever the website, Facebook, eBay, 9gag, etc. The app cannot login.

Pretty good. Can you please make the default search engine configurable? Having DuckDuckGo as the only option is not ideal

I need an answer!!!!. I got this today but it didn’t show up to download on my Apple Watch. I’m pretty outdated I have a series 1 Apple Watch, and I was wondering if it was the fact that I can only get watchOS 6.3. So my question is. Can this app run on watchOS 6.3?

Worth every penny !! The BEST I have ever used. This is turning out to be one of my favourite apps. No need to pick up my phone to check my regular news sites. Also do a quick check of winning lottery numbers. They load perfectly, quickly, with no ads or other junk attached. You will not regret having this on your watch.

Awesome Browser 🥰. No video playback but the watch doesn’t have a video player so no fault there. So nice to have a mini browser on the the watch though, something apple should’ve included. Very cool.
