I passed DMV California Writing Test. I have completed 20/24 tests available on this app, which is free and the questions are close to the real test. However, I encountered some very new questions on the test, so maybe if you could update the question base it would be good! Thank you so much !

practice tests. Great app helped me pass my exam with ease the questions on the app were accurate to the questions i got on the exam, i like how the app gives you 30 practice tests over all 10/10 would recommend.

So helpful and amazing!!. I’ve tried SOOO many dmv practice apps and they usually ask me to pay right when I start using it but this app really helped me study since I don’t have to pay. This app is amazing. I’ve went through a couple apps a week before my permit test and they wasn’t teaching me anything I then found this app and started doing there test 2 days before I went and took my test it thought me everything I needed to know so use this app it’s great.

I guarantee you’ll pass. I took a drivers Ed class online but I still wasn’t sure I will be ready for the exam so I download this app because I seen it that helped other people. with just one test I took from them helped me , which was amazing. I recommend it.

Passed my permit test with this app. The app is really good all the sign and everything are accurate. I procrastinated a while before taking my permit then I started practicing on the app for an week straight when I was bored or had not service and after that I went in to take my test I practiced on the app one last time went and took my test and passed it

Pass my test. I’m not really the type to write reviews but I had failed the written test like 9 times (embarrassing I know) but after acting putting in the effort to learn I got this app and I passed when I took it! super helpful!. along with reading the driving manual, the practice tests on this app really helps. a few questions (if not worded differently) were on the actual CADL knowledge test, so it was good to keep practicing them until i got all 36 questions right. i passed the exam with a 35/40.

Amazing but also disappointing. This app has been very helpful for studying. It’s got instant feedback on questions and there’s no paid features being shoved in your face. The most glaring issue is that you can’t go back an redo incorrect questions. There’s a section called “incorrect quiz” but it just shows you all the answers you got wrong and doesn’t allow you to retake them or study them. The starred section is the same. There’s not a real purpose for it unless you have someone to read the questions out for you. You can’t even retake practice tests you’ve already done. Once you finish them you are stuck there. It’s been nice but definitely needs improvements to be fully amazing.

DMV TEST. I give this 3 stars because it should have pictures to better understand or get an image to know what the signs are…Not that this app isn’t good it’s great because it’s free for kids to learn things and give a better understanding of what they need to know when driving and what to look for or what not to do when driving.

I passed! And so will you!. I have been using this app the past few months. Progressively I was doing better and better on the practice tests. They have practice tests where it’s 25 questions, so if you take two of those and add up your score on both you can find out what you roughly would get on the actual test. There are other practice tests that are 50 questions and don’t show the answer to the questions till the end, so it’s more like the real test. Also, the driver’s manual is included but the manual included for my state is not the newest version, that’s the only reason I did not give 5 stars. What’s also so good about this app is it’s free! I tried multiple other apps and they were free at first then you had to do a free trial. Recently with taking the practice tests I’ve been doing real well, and I was confident I would pass. Today I took my learner’s permit test, and I passed!

You will definitely pass!!. For the past week I’ve been studying by using this app and today I took my test and passed with a 18/20!! It works really well and it uses real questions from the actual test (atleast in NY).

Great app to prepare for the dmv driving knowledge test. I used this app to prepare for the knowledge test in California and passed the test today. Many questions in this app appeared in the test. However, I still encourage anyone to read the driving handbook at least 3 times before taking the test.

Best for studying dmv/permit test. This app is absolutely great. It teaches you literally everything that’s going to be on the test. I used this app and passed my test. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect App. Passed my test first 18 thanks to this could use some more questions on alcohol and drug but overall best app to practice and study having the built in manual made 10 times easier don’t just do the questions also read the manual will help you in the future wether in the test or on the road

Download for permit test!!. Took my permit today and used this app for about 3 weeks prior to my exam. The questions asked on this app are pretty much identical to the ones on the official DMV permit knowledge test. Passed my permit exam first try because of this app! 10/10 recommend.👍

I passed thanks to this. I always like this app because it’s an educational game that helped me pass my written exam (permit test) and now I am off to go get my drivers license. For those NJ Road Test takers please do an hour the day of your test an hour before with your driving school. It helped me pass the first time. This app has been great for the night before I passed my written exam.

Advertisements. The app is very good with practice testing but it’s very irritating to have an ad after every test packet. I’ve tried to find a way to pay for the ads to go away but I can’t find anything.

You Will Pass!. I've never written a review before but I just passed my Permit Test because of this app! It is a wonderful tool but I recommend you do not depend on just the practice tests. The Driver's Manual is included in the app and is veeery helpful reading. Also check the DMV website for practice tests and look at one of the hundreds of quizlets people have made. It's not the most fun thing in the world but it shouldn't be stressful... if you have five minutes just open this app and take a practice test. I flew through my actual test because most of the questions were exactly the same as the ones on this apps.

I passed. Now I don’t know if it was This or the eight hour class I took or a little bit of both but I pass the 40 question test and got 36/40 which was 90% I totally forgot would recommend this as the perfect practice app for your driver test.

Bug. It’s an ok app but whenever I finished one of the practice tests, I can’t go back, like I’ll press the back arrow but nothing happens, and there’s no finish button saying how many I missed or how many I got right. I wish it would work the way I want it to but not everyone can have what they want.

Not a scam. Okay so this app actually is the reason why I passed my written test, it has a majority of the questions on the app, and it has the same questions but rephrased so you can understand it better, I’m 17 and this app saved me I got only 2 questions wrong on my permit from using this app everyday leading up to the test. Yes there are ads, but it’s worth it when it’s giving you this much information.

Read!! Download with low expectations. Typically I dont write reviews like most dont lol, Though I wanna help you out. Clearly youre prepping for the permit test, but when I used this app hardly any of the questions it gave me to practice with werent on there. Your state dmv should have a website and you should probably use that to practice you’ll have more of a shot. This basically wasted my time besides using it for the basic sign knowledge. Good luck I passed mine without the help of this app.

great app!. it’s a good app for learning! i tried the other popular DMV app and it was just much harder to go through all the tests, but in here they make it a lot more accessible to tests and there’s even a practice feature which is really helpful. the only thing i dislike is that there is no dark mode. personally, i study before bed and the brightness of the screen hurts my eyes. if they added a dark mode i wouldn’t have to deal with this problem. many other apps have a dark mode feature and i hope this gets added in the future!

Super helpful!. I used the practice test option on this app everyday for a little under a weak and I passed my permit test with no missed questions.

An app to get. It’s awesome, if you don’t have this app then you’re not ready yet, I answered all the test question in 3 days, took the permit test on the fourth day and passed without even reading the manual 😄 even though I just flipped through some pages, on overall the app is great

Easy way to pass your test!. I have been using this app for a month, today was my permit test and pasted 100% in only 10-15 minutes!

The back buttons doesn’t work. This is dumb I keep having to re do the same test because it freezes or glitches and then it doesn’t mark my test as passed or complete instead it forces me to close the app then re do it and same thing it’s annoying a frustrating when you’re trying to focus on doing the exam when it lags or doesn’t mark it as complete!!!! Extremely frustrating don’t get this app

Good with issues. I’ve been using this to study for a while, and today I’m going to take my test. I’m going through the tests and, I know some of these answers are wrong. In one question, they’ll tell you to NOT use the lane that belongs to oncoming traffic, but behind a slow moving vehicle you can? The questions can be so vague sometimes. There’s so many instances where things wouldn’t be ok, but would be ok with other scenarios, and YOU NEED TO BE CLEAR. How about the answer,”use the lane that belongs to oncoming traffic IF IT IS SAFE TO DO SO”. When you say something, I’m going to assume that it’s under NORMAL CONDITIONS. You need to clarify if the scenario has a special case where something is allowed.

Absolutely Effective and Helpful. I just recently took my permit test for CT and passed with a score of 23/25!!!! I did not read the manual at all, all I did was take the practice tests for the weeks leading up to the test and on the day of the test I took the regular mock tests and passed all with a score above the minimum passing grade. As a person with ADHD and a hard time reading, I would a hundred percent recommend this app to anyone having trouble preparing for the test: regardless of if they have ADHD or any other type of learning disability.

Great but one issue. This app is great as it has the official long tests that are used by the dmv for you to practice. However, there is no feature to let you redo your incorrect answers. You’re only allowed to check what you got incorrect but you can’t be quizzed on them. Adding a feature where you take a separate test of failed answers would be ideal

Great way to get started. I like this app because it helps you learn the facts and you can use it offline. However, I would recommend(after using this app for a while) switching over to your state’s official dmv practice test. I failed my permit test twice when I was just using this app, but after I used the official dmv practice test I passed. In conclusion, I recommend this app but suggest you go the official dmv websites questions a few times Sorry if this was confusing🐙

Best app to study for written test. This app is the best compared to other apps. This app gives you very similar questions to the actual dmv test and helped me pass it on the first try. This app isn’t like others. They have many questions to study and practice. It is very helpful because they randomized it making it better you to study, which it then gives you the correct answer. It also has practice test which makes you take do all the questions and at the end tells you if you passed or not. Recommend if you are trying to pass your written test for the dmv!!!

Best permit app. This helped me so much! They have a readily accessible drivers manual, test for mistakes, common dmv questions, and even an option to star the questions you have the most trouble with. Each question also follows up with an explanation even if you got it right. I wish the creators the best especially since there’s hardly any ads and everything is completely free!

Just like the test. This app was the main app I used to study for my permit. I read the handbook using it and took their DMV Practice Exams. The wording and questions were just like the test.

Simple and effective UI. Love the clear presentation in the UI. For some reason, the order of the questions changes just after you finish a practice test. So that makes reviewing your test answers slightly confusing.

Passed my test. Back in May of 2025 I passed my permit test and this was the only app that actually worked and help me learn a lot it only took me a few hours to know everything now back in August of 2025 I got my drivers license

Best app ever. Without this app I would not have passed my permit test the question on the app and on the test are VERY similar if not exactly the same just grind this app and u will pass first or second try guarantee

Great for California DMV Practice. I read the California DMV manual and did 10 practice tests, and passed the actual test with only one question wrong. This app is a very good resource and the types of questions are very close to what you’ll actually get!

It has the road drivers California manual that has helped me pass. God was so good. He allowed me to pass the test with a 38 out of 40.

amazing. i can’t express this enough, this app helped SO much. i missed 6 questions (which was on me) but most of the questions were on this app nd i learned soooo much. goodluck to future drivers!!! this app was a God send.

I passed the California DMV test. I did all sections on this application and I read the DMV handbook. I was able to pass the test! I would recommend reading the handbook as some of the questions that came up on the DMV test were not on this app.

Good but just a little problem. I like this app! Its just I wish they shuffle around the answer instead of it being at the same spot, it would’ve personally helped me know what to remember instead of what to pick because its always at the same spot

Almost same questions. I did all the questions from this app, and see it all same in the written test, just one question different. Finish all the questions in App’s Library and remember the answers, will pass it

Great!. This app is great I am only 13 but I want to start early on my practice and it does not have many issues the only one is it repeats a question more then once but otherwise its great

Great app. I needed practice to pass my permit and I took all the practice quiz but I didn’t feel confident enough and still got some wrong so I used the wrong quiz which put all your wrong answers in a quiz and I used that to get a 25/25 on my test and so can you!
