Tv remote. So great they had this app available ! I’m always losing the tv remote .

It’s ok. The only issue I have is that it makes me give permission to use it on my tv about once a day. I have to use the regular tv remote to do this, making it twice as hard to adjust the tv, as I might as well use the tv remote in the first place.

Tv app. This app is the best of the many I have tried but you do have to pay just to turn is on or off and if you don’t want to pay to things that matter to you like turning it off or on are more things then this app is for you but just for my lasy ones that have their remote then this is great…by the way 3/5 rating

THIS APP IS FANTASTIC. I have a Samsung QN90A, and this APP works better than the Smart Things APP and it works better than the Samsung remote that came with the TV. Wonderful APP.

Works great.. The remote works really well. Easier to work than the physical remote was. I can’t figure out how to change the apps on the apps screen to match the ones I have on my TV. The remote works fine.

Mid. This app is the only one that works on my tv. However, it randomly will say “app only compatible with 2016+” even though my tv is a 2017. And then the app won’t allow me to connect for a week. It’s insanely frustrating

This is my first app review ever… Simply the best Samsung smart TV remote app outside of Samsung SmartThings app… The recently fix where app does not ask permission each time is fantastic… I try so many other remote apps and it’s so annoying to ask permission each time… Get this app period… The simple straightforward design is much better than Samsung SmartThings… Wish the app can store multiple TV settings… Just a great app with no ads…

How can I connect when I lost my remote!!!. So stupid!!! It’s not smart at all!! I lost my remote, I can’t accept or give permission by using my remote, because I lost my remote!!!!!! If I had my remote I would never think about downloading the app. Most ppl download these apps with their remote already being LOST how can I use my remote to give permission!!! You should know most ppl will download when their remote is lost and can’t find it anywhere!!!! Duh!

It’s ok.. The app doesn’t let me load my apps that I use on the tv. Only does part of what it says it will do, and you have to pay for this app. I won’t subscribe until the app functions as it is advertised.

Don’t use this app!. This is the worse TV remote that doesn’t work and riddles you with annoying pop ups. Avoid this and use the remote that came with your TV or buy a 3rd party one. Otherwise this will only frustrate you.

Great free app with no ads. This remote app unlike others have no ads with every button you press. It’d be nice to add a swipe option in the future, but other than that I love it. The response to the buttons is immediate and all the controls are on one screen. 10/10

Do not get this app!. This app only works the free three days after they charge your $10 subscription and no longer works/connects to your TV any longer after the $10 fee is taken only thing that does is ads.

Terrible inappropriate ads. While the remote does work, I can not let anyone use it. The ads promoted on the app are inappropriate for children. While we are watching children shows, news, anything at all, I have to use the remote for fear of my children seeing inappropriate ads on the remote. I am going to delete the app and just purchase a remote!

Junk. It shows my tv on the app but when I try to connect it says device not supported and that was after I already agreed to the 3 free days then $9.99 a year for the remote. I think you should let people test it before they have to subscribe to a plan not the other way around.

No fees or ads. I can use it with my tv without having an ad pop up every time I touch a button. Something I never thought I’d have to state.

Annoyed. It’s annoying that I need to allow permission every time I wanna use it. Especially when you can’t find the remote then you have to find the button on the back of the tv and make sure you don’t deny then it will never appear again

Convenient to use. After using awhile I found this app is much easier to use than the remote that came with the TV.

Hard to use. I recently switched from a Roku TV , and the Samsung remote is not easy to use. Very minimal info on the remote itself. Hard to record shows, rewind a live show, and many other options I used on Roku. Love the TV image. Maybe it’s just me.

Worked for a month then not at all. This app worked great…for a month. Even paying the yearly subscription to access the power button and what not, did not stop this from constantly disconnecting from my tv and upon attempts to reconnect being told the device is not supported.

Like it the subscription tho can it be any longer. !!!

Nothing for free. I got the frame tv, because I was sold on the idea of always having some interesting art on the wall. Little did I know that there are only about 25 very uninteresting prints you can download off the Samsung website to display on the frame tv when it’s off. No problem I’m a photographer and have a lot of fabulous photos that I can display. However you have to get the premium version of the app in order to cast your photos from your iPad or phone onto the TV. It seems for the outrageous price of the TV, Samsung would be able to give you some of these other perks for free to make the TV work to the best of its capabilities

Useless. Every time I put my phone down to use the restroom for example, I have to use my tv remote to Allow the app to connect. I could just use my tv remote if we wouldn’t lose it so much. That’s why I got the app so I won’t have to use the tv remote. This app makes no sense!

Apps section doesn’t work. I like this app. Been searching for smart remotes that I can find on my phone. I like that you can turn on and off you’re TV. I don’t like how you have to subscribe to do that. Also, the apps section doesn’t work. Nothing loads when I go there, all blank. I have a Samsung series 8 (50) TV

Way too many pop-up ad. Every time I go to use the app, the first thing that pops up is the add to buy your Premium services. I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME! It’s quite annoying and I’m probably going to uninstall this today.

Amazing. My TV is kinda broken so I had to look for a remote app as a substitute. All the other apps had ads but this one stands out. This app has every feature I need and has no ads included. This is the best tv remote app you could possibly get without paying.

So far so good. Connected with no issues, very surprised how easy. Other apps wouldn't work because Ethernet, i prefer hard wired vs wifi.

Perfect app. I recently installed a Samsung Terrace 65 inch TV with a sound bar on my back deck. Ultimate man cave. Even though the remotes are waterproof, I was still somewhat concerned on where to store them. And now I don’t need to. This app operates this set up perfectly and I don’t even need the other remotes. What more can you ask for?

Can’t use the keyboard to search. I love that all of my TVs apps appear in one place and that I can access them quickly. The only feature I really wish worked is the keyboard for searching in apps. I hate having to type using the arrows to choose each letter.

Monthly Subscription Ridiculousness. I do like the app however I find it very insulting to charge someone monthly and/or yearly for an app when you can simply buy a universal controller for a few dollars more and resolve the issue should you have lost or broken the original controller. I wouldn’t mind paying $10 or even $15 for a lifetime use of the app but to charge someone a yearly fee is just not right. UPDATE - After using for two weeks the app stopped working. DO NOT waste your time.

What’s the point?. What is the point of having a remote on your phone if everytime your screen goes off on your phone or you close your phone you have to use the actual tv remote to let this app have access! The point is I want a remote on my phone for when I lose the remote or my toddler hides it somewhere!!!

Clayton’s Remote.. Only works when the TV is on. So you need the real remote to turn the TV on ! Also not all functions can be accessed. Like the Picture Frame section for my Samsung Frame TV. Requesting my money back after one day.

You need your TV remote still. Lost my remote thought I could use this all but to set it up there is no way to accept the connection on the TV without having the remote. Bad TV design and bad app design.

Revenue is a priority!. Sadly, after using this app (free version) for a while we have noticed an increase in adult advertising material hence the one star. Otherwise the app is great, but there is no mention that this material is likely to come up and our kids use the app. Surely enough money can be made from other advertisers without stooping to this level. Some will say just pay for the app to remove the ads, which is fair. But if the app is going to include this free then a note should be added that the advertising has no age limits

Frustrating app. Typical I.T. fail where you are promised the world of Sansung convenience and then when you down load and connect it are delivered a constantly faulty experience when you use it. From remote controls to smart home at the touch of a finger. This ain’t that smart … when you actually try to use it to control appliances. It’s an inconvenience that will make you want to throw your phone at something or just turn the appliance off at the wall.

Disappointed. Works fine. I bought the yearly subscription but still have the ads. Very disappointed with this product.

Works well once allowed. Every time I exit the app and reopen it to use, I have to get up to click “allow” on my tv. Sort of defeats the purpose of having a remote app. Not sure if it’s my tv or the app itself.

Not happy about an annual fee, but it works.. Remote for my Samsung smart tv broke, and replacements are quite expensive. I found this alternative thinking it was free, but it is not. It gives you a 3-day trial before charging you an annual fee. It does work, but the fact that it isn’t a 1-time cost is absurd. I’ll likely use this until I can find a real replacement.

Disconnects constantly; DNR. When I first downloaded, I thought this was the best app but apparently, it disconnects from the tv constantly and you have to reconnect it back to tv (involves using the remote) to work. I downloaded it so I don’t have to use my tv remote to turn on my tv. But there’s no use if you have to turn on your tv each time with the tv remote to reconnect to this remote. Doesn’t make sense.

Won’t connect. Both the iPhone and the Samsung are on the same network. No matter what I try, rebooting the TV, rebooting the phone, rebooting the router, the modem, everything and anything, this app cannot find the TV. This thing is garbage. Don’t waste your time or money.
