Great app. But the color of rain should be green !

Movement. I signed up for pro. Is there any way that the app can show the projected movement (or the direction) of a storm over a period of time? Can you put in time lapse like some other radars show?

Update to support IOS17 Standby?. So far works fine on home and lock screens but it does not appear in the list of compatible widgets for the new ios17 standby screen. Dev may want to update before iOS 17 final release.

App is not updating at regular intervals. Great beginning for a useful widget. Needs to be more consistent at updating when it is active.

There. Is a stupid refresh button On the widget. Widget shouldn’t have a large refresh button on it obscuring the radar

Weather watcher. Needs to show previous movement. Time lapse adjusted by user. Default to one hour. A user location “dot” would be nice.

Fantastic app, that is no longer working. Prior to is 17, this was a fantastic weather widget. Basic, lightweight, and straight to the point. However, as of iOS 17 it displays a black/white widget and no information. 5/5 app previously. If it starts working again I’ll remove this review.

iOS 17.03 has broken the app. Please fix Update. Still not working after latest update.

Clear, very easy to setup and use.. Downloaded not expecting much, but this is a very good app. Its extremely clear and easy to use, setting a location is as simple as selecting one, and it shows very accurate data. Definitely worth a download

Current location fail. Comes up as location unavailable with new update. Set to current location on the widget. Please fix.

Widget refresh. For a lifetime sub costing 30 bucks, I would think I wouldn’t have to manually refresh the widget. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Issues with iOS 17.0.3 and iPhone 15. Doesn’t work.

Non standard color scheme. I am not a fan of the default color scheme. The use of light blue for rain is not appropriate here in the northeast US. Most other Radar Apps use green for rain to yellow and red for storms and blue shades for snow. I prefer not to pay the “Pro” annual fee to even try out another color scheme.

App widget not automatically updating. Main app is working but widget does not automatically update every 10 minutes. Disappointed.

Was super excited to try this Widget..... After reading an article on Gizmodo about the best widgets to add to your Home Screen I was very excited to try this application. I installed the application in the widget on my home screen as instructed by the application. I enabled Location services for the application as instructed however the widget appeared completely black and was not working. After installing and reinstalling the application multiple times, deleting the widget from the home screen and adding it back to the Home Screen multiple times, toggling location services for the widget and restating my phone countless times I have given up and decided to delete the app. I have it a solid 30 minutes of concentrated effort. I had so much hope for this widget but I was let down. I would recommend you don’t dedicate 30 minutes of your precious time to try to troubleshoot this yourself...

The widget you deserve. So I’ve discovered that the best weather radar which it for iOS 14 is also the one that’s free. It’s also the one that doesn’t force you to take up half your screen with someone else is content. It’s perfect. You can zoom to city, region, or wider views on your ZIP code. It updates every 10 minutes. So it doesn’t use too much data or battery, and if you see something approaching you can pull up the radar of your choice and dig deeper. It also looks like it is sourced from Dark Sky which is great. Perfect.

Loses location. Works fine sometimes, does what’s it’s supposed to, and then suddenly it’ll say location unavailable. When you open the app, it asks you to enable location services…which are already enabled and hasn’t been changed. After exiting the settings app it can suddenly find my location again. I’m kinda tired of constantly babysitting a widget.

Works great on 17.4. As a recent Android to iOS convertee (I needed the True-Sense LiDAR via Apple due to software requirements) I have been trying to replace the functionality of my decade with Android as a county weather spotter. I expected little out of this widget pack without investing, but… The default “free” views are perfect. I have no need to upgrade ANYTHING to make this function the way I need it to. In all honesty, I may buy a lifetime license just to support the dev! It takes a minute or two to “catch up” to the weather networks, but once paired, it’s on and reliable. As a regular long-distance driver and weather photographer, it centers on your approximate position by cell tower data, and to be truthful, that’s FINE when you are chasing thunderstorm convection! I’m hopeful it will impress as we move into spring. The only reason you would need to pay for this would be if you need higher contrast or want to change the colors. The basic matches the DARK MODE on the phone very well.

Stopped working. Worked for a few days and it stopped working

Works sometimes. Works ok most of the time but lately the widget just shows an error code and doesn’t update for a few minutes or so. Otherwise it’s ok.

Still not updating widget. After the update that mentions correcting the widget update the widget is still not updating.

Great widget. I wish we could change the color of rain on the widget to green but the widget is great otherwise 👍🏻

Unhappy. Suddenly I lost all my settings and my pro subscription. Tried to restore it unsuccessfully. Very sad.

Zero accuracy. I like the weather widget but it’s alarmingly inaccurate from the widget and the app’s perspective. I realize the developer has made changes since the apps launch. This is one area that deserves attention immediately.

Can not set location. Maybe I have to pay but the program doesn’t know where I am and I can’t tell it. Fairly useless compared to other weather programs.

A great widget. It’s simple and it works! Great for a quick view of weather in your area and what to expect. I use it all time and it’s one of my favorite widgets! I highly recommend it!

After subscription, ads ahead?. Seems the developer didn’t alert us about subscription in the app. Next step is ads without warning? To access new themes we should pay a subscription. Now this app is becoming like another “tidbit” app.

Great job!. A Radar Widget is a really good source if you want to see storms quick. You might be saying that’s what my weather app is for but this app has the radar in a small little widget that you can add to your Home Screen. It was well developed and has a good developer story behind it. I recommend this app to anybody willing to brave the storm!

Good Widget. I like using this widget in conjunction with my other weather app.

Worthless. It says it’s been snowing all day every day for weeks when it’s not. I contacted tech support and they’re unresponsive.

Blank Widgets. Developer responded to my issue with blank widgets and promptly corrected the problem that some users have been experiencing. Rating updated.

Widget doesn’t update unless you open it. This maybe because I am only using the free version but it defeats the purpose of a widget on the Home Screen if it’s not a live tile.

V2.0.1. Just a blank widget on an iPhone 15 Pro

The update isn’t working anymore. I love this app as a widget on my Home Screen but the latest update caused the widget to say “all widget to access current location” even when location access is enabled.
