I used to like this app until it got spammy. This was a very simple and useful app for a long time until recently, when I started to receive a lot of annoying and unprofessional advertising on it. I don’t really mind ads in general, as I know they need to make money, but the way they are implementing advertising on this app results in an unacceptable use experience. Two recent examples come to mind: (1) I received a survey invitation in the app to weigh in on building the wall between the US and Mexico. The survey itself was strongly biased toward one particular point of view, and wasn’t really a scientific survey or poll intended to get true public sentiment, so I found it annoying to go through, knowing the results would not be used fairly. And (2) Today, I received an interstitial ad with uninitiated audio, which means that music started to play for an ad as I open the app without any ability to control to stop it for a period of time. This is totally unacceptable advertising on any digital platform, except perhaps if you’re visiting a site or app where you expect uninitiated audio, like a movies review site/app. I am an expert in user experience, advertising online, and design, and I can tell you from years of experience and tons of data that this will make users extremely annoyed. It does not work as an effective form of advertising in the long run. Therefore, I am deleting this app from my phone and seeking alternatives.

Beach Comber. I've been using this app for over a year now. I'm an avid beach comber rock hunter, I've been known to hike out three plus miles and back. This app helps me find minus tide days, but while I'm out it also helps me keep track of where the tide is at the moment and the weather. I'm still adjusting to the update but it's still one of my favorite apps.

An awesome app plus. Not only can you get the tides anywhere in graph or chart format the app tracks your position so your cell phone becomes a mini Plotter that is great for a quick location reference on the run. A multitude of pins give instant access to tide info in specific locations with one click. Everything you nee more. Oh and this all works w/o cell tower connectivity & with cellular data turned off. True story..I used this app from Blaine WA to Ketchikan, Alaska. Final destination Haines AK in upper Lynn Canal with Tides by my side.

Rad stuff. Owning a boat I realized that I needed to know when would be a good time to get out there. I started looking at different apps, but nothing really popped out at me until I found this one! Tides is pretty sweet, not only does it sense the nearest bossy of water to you ( and tells u it’s water level) it also has the weather for your location! What I love is that, say I needed to know if next Saturday would be a good sailing day, I can look that up and see! Other then the Annoying adds Tides is a wonderful app that I strongly recommend.

So far so good. I'm a long term user of a different tide app called TideApp. A bit ago their update took away a lot of functionality making it no better then a tide table. A new search for a better app lead me here. So far so good. Accuracy is good and there are a bunch of other thinks like moon phase and local weather in this app. Although this app lacks the ability to know the height of the tide at any time, (so I can know when its deep enough to put my boat in) not just at high and low, the graph is moveable to line up with the edge of the screen so you can figure it out. Overall this has easily replaced my prior app for tides. Glad they are there. If they put in functionality of using you'd finger to move along the graph to see height at any time I would even go pro and pay $ to remove ads or whatever.

I like it but the UI has some clumsiness.. I live on the coast and I use it all the time. But the user interface has a couple of “features” that the designers may have thought were clever or inventive but that are really just clunky and annoying. As you slide the daily graph from side to side it snaps to a midnight-to-midnight position. Maybe someone likes it, but I don’t and I wish there was s setting to turn this off and just let me position it wherever I want. Related improvements would be to allow adjusting the scale by pinching and allowing rotating the screen into landscape. Also, you can tap a spot on the graph and it will mark that point and label it with the time and tide height. But is very clumsy to move it. It should let you slide a cursor smoothly along the graph and display the time and height as you slide it.

Only tide app for Apple Watch!. This app can display a terrific little tide gauge on your Apple Watch. This is one of the most useful watch apps I have! However it doesn’t work as well as it used to: it’s no longer possible to switch between the different types of info displayed. Needs an update. The phone app works well too. A very small purchase removes the ads…I don’t know why other reviews say there not an ad-free option.

Check the wind. OK for getting high and low tide timing, but app’s tide level MUST be taken with a grain of salt. Wind influence has to be taken into account, and this app does not do that. This morning in Charleston the app has high tide at 6.4 feet at my location, but we have an onshore wind and NWS predicts high tide of 7.4 feet. Still, I don’t know of an app that gives you the NWS prediction, so I still use this one. For an astronomical king tide (like today), check with NWS for an accurate forecast to avoid disaster

Easy use, generally accurate. I like the app to plan my fishing trips but deleted it when it would go inexplicably black from time to time, making it unreliable. But it’s format and graphics are much better than others, so I’m giving it another chance. Hope it doesn’t fail me.

Cheap weather app. This weather app provides current weather and predictions. It could also offer tide height and long time series information. The price is cheap. Many other weather app asks for more than two dollars, while this one is only two dollars. The ads could be annoying for the free version. It is worth to spend two dollars for the paid version, so that the ads are removed. The screen space will be preserved and effectively used when ads are removed. Overall, well made app. Good job to the 7th gear. The brothers Ryan and Chris.

Good at home or traveling. Have used this app for over a year now, both for our local beach in Kachemak Bay and when traveling by sailboat to Prince William Sound without internet. I’m impressed by the storehouse of tide data for what seems to me like obscure locales in many-faceted Prince William sound. I actually had more detailed tide data available with this app than existed on an older Garmin chart plotter that was part of the Pilot house. I particularly like that you can ascertain the exact tide height at any moment, now or in the future, rather than just the highs, lows and their times for the day.

Very helpful in the San Francisco Bay area.. With the recent storms we have had It was very helpful to have this application. It was very specific to even the tide levels on the rivers. Really incredible. I live on a river and this application was very helpful in monitoring flood risk. also, this is a must for boaters if you are navigating any of the San Francisco Bay waters, including rivers.

Great tide app. I often need to know the tide level at specific hours of the day. The app provides an informative detailed graph that provides what I need. Easy to set up favorite locations. The ipad version does not yet provide a landscape view but a very quick reply from the developer indicated it will soon show both portrait and landscape views.

Awesome tool XCEPT for the absurd Qanon ads. This has been a very useful tool when kayaking on my local river which has a strong tidal effect. It’s also nice to be able to check the state of the tides when planning an outing to the ocean. What i really hate about this app is the advertising they push at you about every fourth time you open it. I get that it’s free, and i fully expect to be shilled to on a free bit of software, but the advertising is almost exclusively loud volume hyper conservative “financial planning” advice. During the abysmally embarrassing tRump years this app bombarded you with loud bombastic ads like “do you love tRump more than jesus and are democrats satan” like ridiculously over the top survey type questions. I would just close out the app and reopen it and the ad would be gone but the sudden Q-Anon conspiracy announcements could be embarrassing. Although clearly designed by extremists this app uses publicly owned tidal stations to present very useful information to those of us who love the water.

Inaccurate data. I have to reconsider my low rating. I checked the app again this morning and now the tide data is accurate. I don't know if this was a one time glitch or what. So for now the app is working fine and is great for showing sun and moon data as well as tied data accurately and attractively. So disregard my initial review below for now. I can't give this app any credibility at all. It looks good on the surface but the tide data is wrong. It's nearly a full moon and the tides are close to 2.5 feet in Honolulu but the app is showing them at 1.5 feet, and an hour earlier than every other source, including NOAA. In addition, I live right on the water and surf every day and am clued into the tidal heights and times myself. This app gives fake news or, as the Russians used to call it, disinformatsia. So I used it for a day and realized it was really worthless.

Has the info but sometimes hard to find.. I really like the app, I love the things that it tells me and its capability. It's not real user-friendly and it's a little hard to find some of the information you're looking for. Somehow I (unknowingly) or the app added several locations and I still have yet to figure out how to delete them. I live on the water so it's a necessity to us.

Accurate, simple and informative!. I happen to live close to a small bay that often gets confused with another waterway that is not subject to as severe tide fluctuations. Not only does the app recognize the differences (others did not) but it is quick, accurate simple to use and provides all the information I need. I use it daily!

Coastal Hounder. Wonderful, helpful app. Format and presentation of data is excellent! Clear, concise yet inclusive. Would give the fifth star if: 1. more locations on the OR coast we calculated, offered, displayed. There are similarities to using the 'old fashioned' paper tides book that mandated calculations performed by me. Exactly what I was trying to avoid. 2. Add sunrise, sunset, last light, first light times to the increased readings locations. The data is accurate, helpful and hopefully saves lives.

Best One So Far. I really like this app. It presents tide data in two formats: graphical and list. The best feature is the graph presents high tide and low tide based upon degrees of departure from sea level. The graph also shows the phase the moon is in at present. Why is this important? The moon controls the tide cycles on earth. I collect seashells and how low the tide is going to be is important in deciding which beach to visit. I use this app every day and highly recommend you download it.

Get tides, past, present & future. Simple, and easy to use. Only improvements I would like would be the ability to zoom on tide graph, and the ability to download tide information (esp. in .csv form) would be amazing. But sadly, occasional full-page ads with no visible minimize button (so you can’t go past them) make this app useless sometimes, so now I have to find some other information source...

Intrusive ads. Great app, except that when you open it it sometimes plays video ads *with sound*, even when your phone is on silent. This is really intrusive, especially since I often check the app in the morning when my partner is still asleep. Practices like this actually make me less likely to subscribe/buy the pro version. I’ll just find another app. To the developer: please consider removing the ads with sound. This is a terrible user experience. At a minimum ads like this need to respect the silent mode switch.

I used to like this app.... I’ve had this app for a couple years now and found it useful, but I’m deleting it due to the invasive ads. This app puts full page, full sound ads, which play at full volume despite the sound being muted on the phone. In addition, there is no obvious way to mute or stop the ads from playing, you just have to let it play out or close the app. There are plenty of other tide apps, I recommend finding a different one that will respect the user audio settings instead of assaulting them with advertisements.

Best for Apple Watch. Without a doubt, this is my favorite app for use on any and all Apple Watch complications. Works fine with iPhone. Great technical support and responsiveness to resolve a watchOS 6.0 compatibility issue. Only real concern is it simply fails with iPad and won’t even display any useful information in even compatibility mode, which forces me to use another Tides app on my iPad vs iPhone & Apple Watch where Tides is my ONLY choice.

Best Tides app on watch. I’ve been using this app when I vacation on Cape Cod for morning swims. On the Apple Watch, it’s the best and most complete presentation of tides information I’ve found. It shows a simple graph of high and low tides, and shows tides well out into the future. The graphics on app on the iPhone are a bit clunky, more functional than pretty. Every year I look for a better tides app, but I haven’t found one yet. Pretty would get 5 stars from me. Unfair, maybe, but there’s room for improvement!

Tides & Moon phases at you fingertips🌙🌎🌊. I so love this app for many reasons. Living in Costa Rica you need to know the tide for everything. I first started using it for fishing. Then it was when I have the widest beach for full days of fun with my wolfpack and friends. Surfing, paddle boarding or building sand castles. Hunting for driftwood and other beach and river treasures, this app reads where I’m at and gives me the skinny on when I should start getting to the tidal water. Then the moon phases are excellent for cleansing my crystals, let alone prepping for full moon events. Knowing the moon phase is so important for planting or just howling at the moon.

Best Apple Watch Tides app. Best graphics, free, and works well on the Apple Watch. The only tricky part, which i literally discovered this morning, is if you want to switch watch graphics from the line graph to the ocean view w/ the little fishes, just long press on the graph screen, and choices will pop up!

Love this app! It’s $1.99 to stop ads so stop complaining!. I use it all the time for tides, and just recently noticed it has the weather forecast too. I use it mostly for the tides though, and it’s always been accurate, with an easy to read chart. And to those complaining about ads, the app is $1.99. A small price to pay a small developer for such a useful app.

Interpolaton. Needs to give best interoplaton for any point on shore between stations, tested by predicting the middle station for three in a row. Confidence levels would indicate accuracy, 2/3 between two tides, 95% between two others. Perhaps a merger with IBM which bought Weather Underground would allow taking wind and barometer into account and have accuracy undisturbed by Hurricanes.

Works well, useful info. Overall works very well. Able to select/save multiple sites and see weather up to 24+hrs in advance. Weather info includes wind speed and direction, which combined with tides is a great tool for paddling planning. Also links with Apple Watch which provides necessary info for quick glances on tides.

Ok until. I really love the app. Tide chart always seems right on. Have been able to set my lift when leaving and it being just where I need it to pull back in without adjusting it when docking. I don’t mind any advertising. We all need to make a living. BUT. I GOT ONE. THAT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE AN ADVERTISEMENT. IT LOOKED LIKE A IMPORTANT ISSUE FROM MY PHONE. It took up the whole screen and said I needed to do something now and push the link. No clue what they are trying to download on my phone. No company name or service. JUST A SCAM TO GET INTO YOUR PHONE. I emailed the company and asked that they pull that ad because someone will push the link. I now get that ad about every other time now. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I’M DELETING MINE NOW.

Watch app hard to read. I would give this app 5 stars if I could see on the Apple Watch the red low tides numbers on the black watch background in sunlight. There just isn’t enough contrast. Gee, I wish I could select my own colors. Other than this problem I think the app is great and would use it on my watch daily when on our boat (out in the sunlight, of course!). Hopefully a futures update will make the watch app more readable.

Excellent app! Couldn’t live without it!. I live right near the Puget Sound, and live by this app for walking my dog! Also when we travel it automatically shows the tides wherever I am at. I love that you can look days and weeks ahead of time or at what the level will be at a particular time. I haven’t found a better app.

Versital App. I use this often to look at tide levels and times when I volunteer at Fort Sumter in Charleston SC harbor. I often get questions from visitors about tides and can show them with this very easy to understand graph. I also like it’s weather feature and the location option that allow me to see tidal levels in areas that I travel around the area.

Crashes every other time. You watch the ad then it fades to black and you have to restart your device - a phone, an iPad, doesn’t matter - for the app to work again. It works about 40% of the time and is soo aggravating to use. Good data but so flawed in its presentation that it’s better to use other apps.

Watch widget gets stuck. I walk daily on a beach that can be blocked at or near high tide where the cliffs stick out. I love this app for the watch part of it. I put the widget on my watch face so I can see at a glance about where the tide is and if it is coming in or going out. On several occasions, however, the graphic in the widget gets stuck and doesn't move for days. I have to reboot my watch to reset it. The side to side scrolling on iPhone x is still a bit wonky too. Other than that, I love it!

Perfect tide app. Works amazing, but it’s especially amazing on Apple Watch (specifically the complication on the watch face) when used with the Time Travel feature -For those who don’t use Time Travel it’s the Apple Watch feature where you twist the dial and things like the weather and sunset times reflect the time you spin up to. Kind of hard to explain, but ask to see it in an Apple Store and then it’ll make sense)

First check the tide. The City of Petaluma Marina is decades behind on dredging. That may some day change. So they say. Before I sail anywhere, I check the tides. I need at least 4’ of water. The tides are crystal clear. Graphics easy to understand. Touch the screen and get an instant time / height read out. Ebb- flow a cinch. I don’t want to fight the river. So I can easily predict the best time to head into San Pablo or SF or Carquinez Straight. The app brings up the right chart for location. No computations necessary.

All you need to know. I am new to this app, I was using another but they no longer gave the actual high & low numbers just the times of each. Where we go to the beach it is critical to see just how high the tide numbers are due to the terrain. Anything over a 2 ft tide that beach is not accessible. So just seeing that the tide is low at 9 am isn't enough info. This app is perfect for our daily venture to the beach with the pooch! Thanks for the great app.

Saved my life. Me and my girlfriend were holed up under a bridge with the waves nearly high enough to reach us. We were saying our final goodbyes when I remembered I had this app. I opened tides hastily, absorbing the data in the app. I realized the tide was finally going out, and we were indeed going to survive. It was a bit awkward after because we started confessing things we never thought we’d say? I mean we did think we were gonna die. Anyways, easy 5 stars in my book 👍

Best app for tides—I live on the beach. It’s my go-to app.. Fir me, this is the go to tide chart. It’s by far the easiest one to read, and to gauge wave heights, comparing the chart with previous experience I’ve had with tides of those levels. Most of my friends use this chart, too. It is graphically simple, easy to use, and not complicated. The graph is open, not barrow and crushed. It sort of looks like a wave, itself. I appreciate this feature because I can see how many feet it will be at roughly-5-min to half-hour intervals, if I want to break it down like that. I waited a long time to review this app but have never been steered incorrectly. I hope the owners of it do not start messing with the formula. It is PERFECT as it is!

As good as it gets.... As a surf fisherman who occasionally competes in tournaments, some 24 hours a day for several days and more, this app is invaluable. I usually fish the incoming tide to high tide and regardless of where I’ve been, this app has always been spot on. It helps with developing strategies to maximize the best fishing opportunities especially when fishing through several days at a time. Thanks

Been using for years.. Just occurred to me I never reviewed the Tides app. It’s so good I just took it for granted. But just now I wanted to see tide charts for other areas, just opened the built in map and clicked. So intuitive, and accurate - having carefully watched our local tides perfectly match up with the predictions in this app for a few years.

Used Daily. Love This App!. I use this app to plan my 8-mile beach walks and to plan when I will swim in the ocean. This app is more useful than my paper tide calendar for daily use. I love that it tells me the exact feet and inches at the moment with a little arrow pointing up or down for rising or falling tide. I love how clear the graph is, showing me how the tide will be rising and falling throughout the day and night, and clearly showing me sunrise and sunset as well. This helps me plan my walks and swims so I do not get clobbered with waves crashing against cliffs or rocks while walking, and can float over rocks while swimming, and to plan for sunlight or starlight. I still use my paper tide calendar to see future tides more than a week or two out, yet if need be, I can scroll over to see future tides on the app as well. When I am not working and have free time, I probably use my tide app about four times or more and that is nearly everyday. I love this app!!!

A must!. Throw away your tide book! This easy-to-read tide app is a must have for anyone who, like me, lives, works, or plays on the tidal waterways. It accurately shows the rise and fall of local tides for the workmen repairing my bulkhead or plumbers under my house, for example, so they can plan a window of time to get the jobs done before the tide covers the beach. The simple line graphs illustrate the rise and fall so anyone can understand it. I can’t live without it!

Very clean user interface with useful Tides info.. Friendly user interface. This app does very well for what it is designed for - forecasts Tide and Weather 24x7. Sometimes we go to the beaches to get seaweeds for garden composting. This app helps us to plan time to visit the beaches after high tide that may have dumped a supply of seaweeds on the shores.

Good Watch Complications, but..... Good App and good watch complications for being out in the water surfing, EXCEPT the third line of text on the center text watch complication is practically unreadable out in the sun and surf. Dark gray on a black background is impossible to see under bright outdoor conditions. The time of the tide change is the most important tide data and should be prominent. Please change the text to white like the rest of the text and I’ll give it 5 stars. Thanks!

Works off-line, Too!. I like the clear daily graphs showing tide levels throughout the day, plus a listing of high and low times. Biggest feature for me though is no data connection to get tide data. Download the regional data before leaving home and check the tides for any day while out and about.

Great App!. I live in an area where the tidal range averages 8 feet. At certain times, you cannot go places by boat. This app very accurately describes the the tides in such an easy to read format that takes all of the guesswork out of trip planning . It’s a must have for all boaters! One feature I would like to see is the ability to choose the area to study, rather than just “nearest,” and maybe that’s a paid feature, but there have been times when I needed to know what the tide was at my house, but was closer to another body of water, so it only shows me that one, not my home. Other than that, this is the very best tide charting app ever seen.

Tide App Review. I love the hour by hour temp and wind direction and wind speed information, along with the tide chart info. Would be helpful to know which of the nearby tide stations would provide the most accurate tide predictions and be the closest “model “ to the tide behavior at our location. Versus just the “ closest “ geographically as the crow flies. And to more quickly see a map of the nearby tide reading stations. Use the app all the time . Thank you!!!

Disgusting ads. Before even getting into the app, I was shown an ad for a video game where a woman sitting on a park bench is assaulted by a man and after she slaps him, the ad simulates her getting raped (man jumps on top of her, pushes her to the ground in a sexual position, she screams). Thank goodness I didn’t open this app in front of my children; I was trying to look up the tides to see when I should take them tidepooling today. It’s absolutely gross that they would accept advertising money from this kind of game and show it to someone who downloaded an app for tides. I’ll be immediately deleting this.

Tide datum plays up. The graphics on the Apple Watch are great but when I change the tide datum on the app to LAT it doesn’t display the changed datum values on the Apple Watch which is a real nuisance. If it did that then it would be a 4 or 5 star app.

Working great on Apple Watch. IPhone 6, iOS 11.0.3 Apple Watch 2, Watch OS4 Works great on the watch now after the latest update. Can even add it as a complication so it’s right on the front screen available at a wrist twist. Thanks!

Great tide app. Perfect little app... does exactly what it's meant to, and the watch integration is great. Switched over to this app - looking for clear & easy tide info (after using a well-known weather app for this for years - and haven't looked back.

Great app...except for the wrong tide data for Sydney. The best thing I find about this app is the ability to add tide info to my Apple Watch. You can see at a glance whether the tide is rising or falling and where it is during the cycle. I love it, and I haven’t found another app out there that does this. If the tide data were correct I would rate this app five stars, but sadly it’s not (for Sydney Australia anyway). I did try to contact the app developers by email but I haven’t heard anything. So it hurts to give it one star, but since accurate data is fundamental to the app, I can’t give it anything else.

Great app to see tides on iWatch. Easy to use

Great tide app! But WatchOS 7 issue. Thank you for your app. I noticed a glitch since WatchOS7 though. The graphs don’t appear on the watch anymore. Also: would it be possible to add 2 decimals to the accuracy of the readings? Many thanks

Love the watch complication!. Finally now I have a tide indicator on my watch, that puts wind strength, direction, tide flow, sunset/rise and forecast all one the watch screen. Fantastic work.

Great representation. The simplicity of the format is easy to understand to see the current tide level plus looking ahead and back - great - thanks

Bad predictions. Shan’t use again. Tide prediction totally wrong by 1metre.this past week And display -1metre. Safety dependant on good predictions. Using an App with wrong tides is a gamble.

Sydney tides wrong. Sorry guys everything else looks good, wanted the Apple Watch app BUT Fort Denison and Camp Cove tide data (time and height) are simply wrong. Check the feed with the BOM

Great App. This app is very easy to use and the graphic showing the tide heights is great.

Tides. We swim in the ocean every day so knowing the tides is an important thing for us.

Instant tide information. The sine wave curve format gives an instant picture of current tide height and its past and future movement

Surfers opinion. Yes it's great you, must get this above any other tide app. I travel and surf all up and down east coast and this app surpasses all my needs. 4/5 stars because there's always room for improvement

Me Manasvi. I really like the layout of the app but I cannot choose the specific nearby location I want. Which is frustrating ... the app opens quickly with accurately displayed tides data ✔️

Pt Kembla. What is the data source? Correlation with the BOM appears way off?

Update the app. Add a tide complication.

Great App for Fisherman. A handy and very accurate app. Easy to use and handy for fisherman!!

Awesome. I live in a tidal location, and this is exactly what I've been waiting for..... The apple watch integration makes it double convenient. The only app with iWatch integration.... well done guys.

100%. The Apple Watch complication is so so cool !

Amazing app. No fees no ads what could be better than that

Great site. Happy to consistent and accurate reports.

Outil précis et précieux. Efficace pour les mises à l’eau

Nice tides app. This is an easy to use app, not as intricate and complicated as some, that’s why I use it all the time. Worth trying out.

Perfect App. I used to use Shralp Tide which was good, but then it was revamped and it’s far worse. This app has everything I need. The calendar feature is great, so I can plan my trips to the beach. It’s very simple to use. I highly recommend it.

Great App. I live a 5 minute walk to the beach. This is a great app for planning walks on the sandbars and for swimming

App freezes. Ads make app freeze, necessitating reboot. Annoying!

Totally off. Useless. Always way off the real tides. Google doing a much better job to pin point location and tide. Too bad because nice layout.

I love my tides and this helps figure things out fast! Easy to use for sure!. Easy to use and accurate...can’t ask for more

Nice App. Quick clear information, use it often!!!

Great tidal app. I love the graphical display.

Multiple Tidal Stations near You. Loads quickly and will hold the Data for your tidal station when you are away from the internet. Simple to use. Love it!

Excellent. Great for the Canada’s west coast

Terrible!! Keeps getting worse too.. Awful UX, widgets don’t even show the current tide level, talk about a total fail, should be embarrassed to even have this app on the store!

Useful and easy app!. Great app works around the world flawless and correct.

Tide times. Love it. So convenient to know where the tides are so fast.

Fishing. Use it for fishing

Ads. Lose the commercials

Watch complication is wrong. This app would be great if it were reliable. The watch complication is always wrong until you open the app and click on a location. This completely negates the value of the complication.

Adware. Assaulted me with a full screen ad for something i don’t care about. Anything that shows me ads is automatic 1 star.

Not agreeing with gov charts. I downloaded and compared this app to Canadian Hydrographic Service charts and they were out by up to almost a foot in every prediction. Times were very close though. Other apps I’ve seen (and I have one I use regularly) are in agreement with the gov charts. If using this app for important things like getting on a drying grid, careening, haul out etc where a foot would make a difference I wouldn’t use it. Good enough for rough work though.

Very handy. Very handy

Great app. Very well designed app. Simple layout, easy to navigate, and brilliant feature to see what level the tide is at in the present moment.

The best.. The best app for marine tides. No matter where u are. Thanks S

Infant mortality. Worked nice. Nice interface. Accurate. Until . . . The first commercial popped up and took over. Cancel advert button cancelled the whole program. Cannot start the program ever again.

Best tide app. I love this app always accurate

Excellent app. This app has exceeded my expectations. The tide information is accurate, the location is accurate, and it has bonus information like the phases of the moon.

Annoying animated full screen ads.. Annoying animated full screen ads. App Uninstalled

Great app. I use this all the time; wouldn’t be without it

Great app!. Have been using this app for the last three years for coastal hiking on the West Coast Trail and the North Coast Trail, where tide and time management is necessary. This app eliminates the need to print off hard copies of tide tables and carry them with me. The app unfortunately is lousy with ads. I paid the nominal fee to remove them. Money well spent.

Tides. The page goes blank and stays so after each ad. This makes it useless.

West coast Boater loves this app. This app is very well done and a breeze to use, and as a boater on the North West Coast understanding how 13 foot tides is essential. 5 stars from me!

Surprised. Wasnt going to switch from my current tides app but glad I did! Accurate, quick, comprehensive- this is all the info with no waste.

Windy. I have a charter company out of Granville Island in Vancouver and us this app almost daily. Quick and very easy to use. Good data!

NB Tides. Love this app.. I have a boat and it very helpful

Version iPas. À quand la version iPad? Plein écran.

Bonne application. Renseignements très utiles

Good but. A helpful app with an informative and accurate interface but keeps crashing when you close ads. Have to delete then reinstall.

What a great app!. New to Parksville and what a great tool to get to know and support the Community! Could not be happier.

The screen is black when I open the app. And when I tap the screen, it redirects me to a scam website

good. does not display tides graph on ipad

Always sends to Windy. Always wants to send me to Windy app which I have Then screen goes dark and unresponsive Too bad as I liked the GUI and presentation I’ll go to another Tide App

Tides. Used to be good but has become unstable and keeps crashing.

Blank screen. Screen goes black inexplicably and does not return. I have to delete app and reload to use it.

Marées.. J’adore cette application.

Too many ads. Ads came up, couldn’t get rid of them, couldn’t read tide table.

Tides. Great graphics, in fact the best I have seen. The ads are a bit of an annoyance, but what makes the app almost useless for me is that even when I watch an entire ad the app goes blank for a couple of days after I turn the ad off. What gives here? Probably the best tides app, but useless when I cannot/not count on it working. Please leave the ads, but please drop the blacking out! A tide reference is critical for someone like myself that lives on an unserviced island with no docks 6 months of the year whose movements on and off the island are timed by the tides.😞

Excelente aplicación. Muy buena aplicación, precisa y fácil de manipular.

Très pratique!. Oui ya des pubs mais l’app est gratuite alors c’est normal!!!

Annoying ads. Although this is a great app, the chart only shows for a few seconds before it is replaced by a full-screen ad that is loud and annoying, and difficult to turn off. Find a different app, that’s what I’m doing .

👌. 👍🙏🥇

Big Wave Dave. Surfer. The only wrong tide information which was misleading were tide heights. I was seeing 14 foot highs when they were actually 11:6 inches. I live next to the weir river a flood plain in Hingham Ma. It is essential for me to get the correct height during an Astronomical high tide due to flooding.

New user. Have to say very easy very simple to use. Really like the map this also has, we where why up Bastrop bayou the map showed exactly where we where. Really like also you can set different areas for ride reports in local settings. Love it.

Love the app! Fix for Apple Watch 4 please.. Love this app use it constantly for various water activities. Finally updated for complications on Apple Watch 4. The only problem is the complication is super low resolution. I look at my beautiful Apple Watch and see pixels in the Tides complication. I hope they fix soon. Love the app! Would have 5 stars if not for that.

new update now full of ads.... beware that after an update, loads of popup and onscreen ads that weren't there in previous versions. I may buy because i do use this app a lot, but more likely to try a few different paid apps first that offer greater capabilities like alarms and such. still...feel a bit ripped that they snuck all the new spam on the most recent update that didn't mention it at all.

Fantastic!. Tides makes it so fast and easy to get the high tide. I was a little skeptical about how it was is so easy to get but I have tested it and it is 100 percent accurate! When you enter the app it only takes 1 second to know when high or low tide is. Great job!

Arizona researching tides in Michigan. In a state like Arizona researching tides in Michigan. The search location is not very useful. It seems to only be searching “Near Me”, and I am a long ways away from Michigan. Will know more about app when I actually visit Michigan. Tried leaving developer email comment - but wasn’t clear on things when it takes me to general company webpage.

Great app. Since we live on the water near Morro Bay . This is a great and useful app in this area . We use it almost every day the only thing I don’t like is the recent addition of the advertisements other than that it’s very helpful and useful tool, proven to be quite accurate.

Ads!. I know that ads are most apps bread-and-butter, but full screen ads (apparently “the thing” right now) are very invasive. Especially the video ones, when I need to be quiet. And the close (“X”) box is extremely small. The object is, no doubt, to get a click-through counted. Love the app. Hate the full screen ads. Might be looking for something else, instead......

Awesome App. Hi All! I spend a lot of time in Puerto Penasco, MX (Rocky Point) and this is the only app that I have found that has the tides for this location. The highs and lows are always within a few minutes! I recommend this to anyone looking for accurate tide charts!! I hope you download and enjoy!

Not installing on watch. I love this app particularly for the Apple Watch. It’s an easy way to check the tides while heading to beach. Unfortunately, it won’t install on my watch via my new phone (iPhone 14 pro). Do we need an update?

Very helpful app. Wherever we’ve traveled on the east or west coast, this app has been uniquely helpful. Both accurate. And your friendly. Addition, it provides up-to-date weather information. A must have for any beach goer, fisherman, or those just generally interested in coastal conditions.

At the beach. I check the app each morning at the beach . It gives me the info I need so I can set up our sand location so we are close to the water without having to move back later in the day. 👍

Novelty. Lots of info and different ways to look at it. Clumsy and vague though. Hard to use on a daily basis. If is evening and you want to plan something over the next 12 hours you have to flip back and forth between days. It won’t hold the page with midnight in the middle. The feature to look at a time and probable depth is a large bullseye thing and hard to line up. Neat for those casually interested but a pain to use seriously

So useful and satisfying!. Living close to a tidal river, I use this app for curiosity every time I walk by the river, and for safety any time we visit a beach. I love knowing what the moon and tide are doing, and it makes me feel safer knowing whether the water is likely to keep rising. Thank you for making this great app!

The perfect app!. Before I always used printable tide charts or ones I picked up at local tackle shops. Did the hours difference of where I was going etc. This app does away with all that I can check different areas etc in seconds and plan ahead easily.

Tides. I absolutely love this app. This tide app allows you to forecast what the tide will be at any time of day. I have a kayak suspended beneath a beach house and we have 12 to 15 foot tides in our area. It is very useful to know when the tide will be high enough to portage the kayak to the water. This app does the job!

Tides works great, but . . .. This is a handy app, but every time I open it there’s an ad, which I can usually close. Not so with today’s religious ad; can’t close it, and it doesn’t disappear after a few moments. I’ll delete this app if this persists.

simple, easy, no notes. most straightforward and easy to use tides app out there! I do fieldwork that’s very tide-dependent and this app is perfect for that, also appreciate that it doesn’t have a lot of annoying pop up ads and ad banners- keep up the good work!

Great for spearfishing. I need to check the current and tides for spearfishing. This app is pretty accurate and easy to use. It also provides weather/wind data. It could be improved with wind data for morning, afternoon, evening. And slack tide. But anyway, there are also specific apps for hour by hour wind. Tried a few apps for tides, I like this one the best. Add your locations as favorites and you are good to go. There are some ads, but they are not too annoying.

Useful and accurate. I use this app to plan out how close to the water I can set up my blanket at the beach. It sounds minor but it helps avoid having to move my blanket multiple times. It has been accurate and a great help for those family trips to the beach.

. A Florida highlight. Taking an interest in knowing when tides come and go should be something everyone visiting beaches, since the oceans build the beaches. The available additional info on the app only makes it all more interesting.

Recreational fishing and water enthusiast. The Tides app provides accurate and detailed information regardless of location. I live on the ICW and a barrier island lies between me and the Atlantic. The app accurately shows the tide differentiation between the lagoon and the ocean. I recommend the Tides app to everyone because it's user friendly has detailed data.

Invasive Ads Interference. Frequent pop up ads block use of this otherwise worthy app. Do not rely on this app’s tidal data when sailing a narrow channel— because there is a high chance of an intrusive non-clearable ad blocking your access.

The Best 👍👍👍👍👍. Thanks. I live in Puget sound and use your site ALL the time. I think it is the best site design I've found for anything. Easy to navigate. Clear graphics ( pretty too) perfect updates. BRAVO‼️ It makes me wonder why other site designs are so awful. Don't change a thing.

Great app. I use this daily. It is easy to check your favorite locations or your current location. It makes it easy to plan a day long trip and what the tide will be when you get to a certain point.

Love this app!. So easy to see where the tide will be all day and any day in the future. Really like the little circle that appears when you tap anywhere on the curve that shows the time and tide level

Surfing and Sailing Safer. I was always too lazy to check a tidal app on my phone before playing in the ocean, but now I can get this little tidbit of information on my way to the boat, or 10ft from the breakers, with my wetsuit on, and my board in hand. Amazing how useful this simple app is!

Love the app until it crashes when advertisement closes.. The app is great when working. Unfortunately, periodically an advertisement pops up that seems to cause the app to crash into a black screen that requires me to delete and reinstall. Not a huge problem just really annoying.

Lunar shifts!. I travel the oceans all over the world. I love this app because not only does it show the differences in tides but also the lunar sequencing wherever you are. The ability to be connected to mother earth by understanding Her better is supported by this app. Thank you for creating such a wonderful gift.

Great App with Some Problems. It has never worked on it Family Sharing. I have written to the developers in the occasions asking why and never had a response from them. Poor customer service and paying for the App 2 times leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The App itself is great and we use it daily.

Best Tide App!. If you’re looking for a clean, attractive interface that’s accurate and easy to use this app is it. Many other tide apps are bloated with detail that you will rarely use. I use it daily and highly recommend!

Tides ! The Bomb !. Been looking for a better app for when I’m fishing different areas around Florida. This one is the easiest and most accurate I’ve found. Just click wherever you are and it figures the correct tide for that area. Don’t have to depend on major inlets and adjust for your location.

Best so far!. I had a different app for years and used it regularly--we live by the beach. This one is WAY better, clearer, less buggy, more information, easier to see the entire tide scope each day, and for days and days ahead. And I love the addition of moonrise information.

Immediately useful. Love this app. Wherever in the world I might be, I tap to open this app and voila, here is the information I need. The state of the tides, rising or falling, plus or minus and when. Whether I am in Ensenada’s Todos Santos Bay or Santa Monica Bay in SoCal I have the information I need. The ads, which pays for all this, are minimally intrusive and worth the app.

Notifications would be great!. Nice app. Wish I could receive notifications when my favorite locations exceed or will exceed a specific level at High tide. I live in Miami Beach and we often have street flooding due to the tides. Some streets become impassable until water recedes.

Makes other apps look bad.. I use this app almost daily and honestly, compared to other apps, this one rocks. I don’t struggle with crashing, availability or updating. I have, and will continue to, recommend this apps to tidally aware friends. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Pay $2 to eliminate ads. The free version contains a small add strip at the bottom of the screen, but additionally has pop-up ads that block the entire view, requiring you to dismiss them. I paid the two dollars to eliminate the ads. Now let's see how nice the app is… I was happy with the old app hi tide which had great but simple graphics, but that app is now defunct. Let's see if this tide app can replace it.

Best Tide app I’ve found... I went with the free version at first, but it was of such quality and so few ads, I felt good paying for it. There are so many aspects that are helpful; Tides clearly shown, Weather button, Moon and Sun cycles, Radar button, Map of area tides to choose, etc. Excellent piece of software and job well done 👍

Comprehensive look at the weather. It’s great except for having to turn my iPad the see the vertical display. That’s good on my iPhone but inconvenient on my iPad. Wish I could change that. Anybody know how?

My favorite tide app except the unexpected ads. I’m sure I can pay for some version that doesn’t have ads but it’s super annoying when I want to quick look up a tide and I want o know fast. Then I have to wait for some ad. Also the ads are typically videos which are noisy.

Visual Presentation. The visual aspect is the best for me as it allows me to be aware of tide and current in kayaking. It helps with planning. I would like to be able to research tides in other places for a week or more in the future. This would make planning for a specific launch site easier. Thank you

This is a great app. It does everything you need. Finds locations easily, and presents information clearly. Nice to be able to find a location and scroll into the future. I couldn’t think of any way to improve it.

Pretty good but phishing issue?. My wife and I both use this and it’s quite good but today while using it we both got pop up messages saying our “iPhone memory is full”, which isn’t even close to the truth. A timer also pops up along with a link to “clear your memory”. Pretty shady ad, not cool.

Very good, but …... I like everything about it except for the use of red numbers. It’s very difficult to read the red numbers especially on the apple watch. If you’re at the beach in the sun forget about it. Please change the color so it’s easier to read.

Works really well on my iPhone and Apple Watch. The app provides very accurate tide information for numerous locations on current and future dates. Works seamlessly on Apple Watch with a very effective on screen widget/complication.

Still best option. I was very disappointed when I updated this app and it now contained an ad banner at the bottom. I understand the need to earn money for your hard work. But I was an early adopter (years ago) who helped push this app into popularity when there was no banner. I’m disappointed this happened. I guess I have to pay to get back the app I had. It’s still the best option out there for speed and layout.

Everything that is needed is here.. This is one of my favorite apps. It’s so easy to read and understand. It gives precise tide information and weather forecasts. I don’t go onto the beach without checking it. The ads are infrequent and easy to delete. Bravo to the designers!

Apple Watch screens are cool!. I am always evaluating tide apps and this one is now my only Go To for the Apple Watch. The Fish screen is fun while being informative and I can always revert back to the more traditional wave screens if planning my days on the water. Keep it up Tides!

Easy to use. Got this app because we moved to the beach and needed to know the tides. Works well and gives additional information that is also useful like sunrise and set times ans moon phases. Great for night sky watching!

Bug needs fixing. This is my favorite tide app by far but it’s got a problem. Whenever it goes to an ad, the screen goes black and you can’t return to the tide charts. I’ve tried rebooting the app, but the same thing happened.
