Cried after I finished the game. There needs to be more review talking about how amazing this story is. It had me crying on a Friday afternoon for a solid 10 minute. I start getting teary every time I boot up the app afterwards. I don’t want to spoil too much but this is definitely a well written story that evoked a lot of emotions. The music and graphics made it 1000% more entertaining but also ties to the story building as well. I’m going to tell everyone I know about this game because it’s such a fun game with a great underlying story to tell, and it’s completely free (except the add ons). EVERYONE NEEDS TO HOP ON THIS GAME ASAP

I like deemo, I don’t like microtransactions. Been playing the original Deemo since 2.0 released, easily one of my top games. When the Deemo 2 trailer dropped in 2020, I was very excited for the way it looked. Two years after that trailer the game released and oh boy, it has the same great gameplay, but I’m also having to ask “why?” for a lot of the things added. Battle pass, why? This is a rhythm game, why does deemo need a battle pass? Very sacrilegious. Crystals, why? I understand this is a Cytus system and it can be used to get books for free, but why can’t I also just buy a book directly for money? Hate middlemen, it’s annoying. Radiance, why? I actually just don’t understand why this system exists. There’s a lot of different currencies and items in this game, but the game itself doesn’t explain them well or in most cases at all. It’s very overwhelming. I do appreciate it being very possible to get all charming now, thanks for that. Animation and voice acting is good. Please make direct buy books option, I beg!

Beautiful Game. DEEMO 2 is one of those rare mobile games which tries to break a few conventions when considering rhythm games. It is a free game so it has numerous in-game purchases which some people may not like, but considering the quality of the game as it is already, it is very justifiable. Beautiful 2D animation evoking the best of Ghibli, charming characters, a mysterious environment and of course, excellent music makes all of the wait for Deemo 2’s official release worth it. There are events, daily tasks, u can traverse and explore your surroundings and chat with the other creatures in the station, apart from playing the music charts. Deemo had a pretty touching, personal story which is a pretty high bar to surpass, considering it is one of my fav stories from Rayark and in a rhythm game in general. I am still at the beginning of Deemo II’s story though, but I am excited to see where it all leads to. Overall, one of the more unique rhythm games and anyone should try it at least once.

4.0 Update is AMAZING. This game went from "oh, a rhythm game with a story... neat" to one of the most amazing narrative games of the year with the 4.0 update. Absolutely you owe it to yourself to play through this game and experience the full story. Mechanically, the game has significantly improved with the removal of flick notes. I think my only remaining complaints are that paid items (tickets) get deleted if you have too many, and that favoriting songs requires buying a season pass AND another purchase if you have a lot of favorite songs. Which, if you do it means you've bought a lot so... just let people who support you have that?

Beautiful as always. Been a Rayark fan since Cytus and the mandragora game were the only two games made by the studio. Deemo was incredible and I didn’t know how they could match up to the magic of the first, but Deemo II is just as beautiful with great starting tracks. Looking forward to what’s to come in the future!

Decent gameplay, bad structure. First of all, the actual gameplay isn’t too far off from the original; the rhythm game part is playable. Additionally, this game has good cutscenes and overall graphics. The main crutch of this game so far is a lot of its features. I’ve played maybe an hour or so and only have 7 songs unlocked, which I’ve all beat on hard. Seemingly the only way to get more songs to progress the story other than by grinding the same songs over and over again is by either buying the song packs or the battle pass. I don’t mind paying for games but I think it should be justified when I do. I believe that instead of having multiple attempts to get the user to spend money via the battle pass and the orbs needed to unlock song passes, this game would benefit more from having a song dlc pack or expansion that would be purchasable, similar to the original Deemo. This game isn’t terrible, it just feels like it’s taken a bit too much inspiration from the cash-grab mobile app scene. Until that changes or more content is released, I’ll be going back and playing the original.

Please finish this game. This is a great game with tons of callbacks to the original Deemo, but I got through the three chapters in three or four days. For anyone reading this debating whether or not to get it, that doesn’t mean there isnt a lot in this game, quite the opposite. But this game is so good that I will spend a good hour or hour and a half each day on this game. Please, please, PLEASE make more because this is an absolute gem but it needs more. I dont care if it is just one more chapter, but i need you to get the rest of the content out!

A Beautiful Game that Evokes Strong Emotion. Their first game left a big impression on me and this game is no exception. With it’s different game features that provides a more immersive experience, it feels like an upgrade to the original yet also keeping that aesthetic from the first. I seriously love the visuals and the voice acting that’s also added, definitely a game that’ll resonate with you. As always, music being the main component to this games franchise is evident and really shines through. I’ve always loved Demos music for being mainly calming and upbeat music and this game doesn’t disappoint. The BGM to the Deemo II is just beautifully arranged, creating an atmosphere to the station that is also highlighted with the visuals used. The soundtrack is also beautifully done, some of the songs having a delicate feel which reminds me a lot of the originals music.

Omg I haven’t seen this game before but I love it!. The game itself is just WOW the art style of the game it’s like anime and 3D art put together and white um creature is my fav character he or well whatever it is I love it and the music omg THE MUSIC IS SO GOD DANG GOOD I fell i one with it when I first heard it well today I heard I but still I love your game so much you and your team did a great job!

Cute, Detailed, and Fun!. Even though (at the time of) this review is when the game just released and I haven’t played much of it, I can say for sure that the cutscenes, sound effects, characters and their designs are amazing, pretty, and very detailed! I love this style and the rhythm game aspect of it is quite fun and beautiful. The exploration part is also innovative and I am inspired by it, as many other rhythm games are just for, well, rhythm games. Overall, amazing!

DEEMO 2. This game is stunning..I like how simplistic the graphics and the characters are..you can tell they put a lot of time into this. It’s nothing like the first because you can scroll and walk around but it is also like the first game cuz the basics never changed. I wonder if they’ll be a third as well…I could see them making you learn the actual piano for the third game lol but hopefully they just stick to the main tap tap aspect of it…so far so good 😊👍🏿

Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. I first played the original Deemo in High school and it was my first rythem game I had so much fun and the story made me cry so when I heard that there was going to be a second game. To say I was excited is an understatement I pre-ordered it and waited for it to come out and now that it’s out, I definitely wasn’t expecting there to be voice acting but the game is even more beautiful than the first one the story already has me hooked and the different characters you can talk to really bring to life of this world that you can explore. The music is amazing so far and the songs are just as fun and challenging as they where in the first game I would definitely recommend anyone interested to try this game out

I’ve never been so disappointed. The art is beautiful… The music is so beautiful when just walking around in the game, I just wanna stand around and listen to it… The rhythm game is fine ig IF I COULD PLAY IT WHEN I WANTED But the game being centered around micro transactions and even having radiance to limit the amount of time you play killed it for me. I’d rather have payed for the game like 3 dollars than deal with micro transactions similar to the original. The original had a story to tell and wanted you to play to your heart’s content for you to find the story and let it be told. This game feels like unnecessary grinding and having to wait to play or if you have money, pay to play. I find it awful that I just want to experience the story and play so many new songs and feel a new story. But this game is making it really REALLY hard to get through it. I’m sorry I’m not mad but just disappointed, especially since the original DEEMO had such a big impact on me and why I played rhythm games to this day

Disappointed. I’ve been playing Deemo for a long time, and it’s my favorite rhythm game. This feels like a cheap follow up full of micro transactions for no reason. Instead of focusing on the amazing music, it wants to show off cosmetics. I heavily dislike the battlepass system as well, I dislike having to go through a leveling system just to get a song I want, and having to progress in the actual story to get the next piece of the pass open to even level. The games visuals and music are top notch, but the micro transactions and shoehorned in ways to make money through them is a shame.

The art style. This game has a unique art style compared to most I play like there use of frame rate and it’s also impressive they made a music game but that’s not it’s only function since you can move around talk to people and do missions outside of the piano

Fired artists for AI. I really loved this game when I played it, it has a sort of calming soundtrack from what I remember, and I enjoyed the overall feel and art style. Unfortunately, the company who made this game recently fired all of their artists and replaced them with AIs, which is something wrong on many levels. Often capable artists have trouble finding jobs and making adequate amounts of money, and on top of that AIs are trained off of non-consenting artists work. Artists deserve to be paid, and their art shouldn’t be used for this kind of thing without their consent. I can’t bring myself to continue playing their games if this is the way they treat their artists.

Step down from original Deemo. Aside from the actual piano gameplay itself, Deemo II is much worse than the original game. The biggest drawback being that story progression is now locked behind timed resources similar to most other mobile games, in opposition to the original Deemo that provided EXTRA resources to zip through the story and unlock all songs much more quickly. Other than this, the sequel is riddled with other microtransactions. Both games have song packs to buy, but the sequel has events that can only be played a little until you need to buy more in game resources. If you want to progress through the story faster and get rid of some of the timed aspects, again, you can buy it. Lastly, the game has much more tedious JRPG elements, like running around and solving rudimentary puzzles to unlock sheet musics, which is only one difficulty for a song at a time. If you play on a higher difficulty and aren’t interested in lower difficulties, much of this wastes time. Most of the decisions for the sequel make no sense for a rhythm game outside of money making. If you want one of the best rhythm game experiences on mobile, stick with the original Deemo. Very disappointed in this long-awaited followup.

The game is straight up unplayable on iPhone 14 Pro Max. I recently changed my phone to iPhone 14 Pro Max and the game has a very noticeable frame drop during the entire course of each song (like it feels like less than 20fps) and stutters a lot— that it plays even worse than my previous phone iPhone X. I first thought it was because the game was incompatible with ProMotion (120hz) but nope, even if I turn off that feature the game still stutters. Also the developers have been refusing to fix the game often not recognizing my touch. It will be a very long list of occasions in which I couldn’t 100% songs just because the game for some reason refused to recognize my touch at most random moments.

(F2P) I LOVE IT! one small suggestion though 🥺👉👈. The graphics, broken-buildings-and-flowers aesthetic, and the story is so muAh 😍 This game is so cozy and criminally underrated, highly recommend for causal and pro gamers alike!! That said, the game seems very monetized (albums cost a lot of Crystals, and u only get trickles of Crystals a day), but it’s not a huge biggie for me since I just love playing a lot of the free/event songs for fun! If u don’t mind grinding to get a select few albums you love, you’ll enjoy being a free-to-play player! And with tHat said, I just finished one of the huge month-long concert events and totally forgot to use up the Star Points I collected through out the event! I’m down to very little event tickets too… 🤦‍♀️ I know other games keep the event shops up for a few days or so so players can spend their earned currency. That would’ve been nice for this event and future events too… TwT

Alright game. Lots of songs and good story. The events and tasks are a very nice addition. I recently changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars because I feel the events have become too difficult. Going from easy to normal mode is a small jump in difficulty. Normal to hard is an insane difficulty jump and requires perfect gameplay. I’m not opposed to this difficulty option but I feel there should be another in-between difficulty as the jump is too big and normal difficulty is boringly easy most times.

Should’ve just made a Cytus 3. This game is good, but it’s kind of boring. The songs are good, but not top tier and the micro transactions just 📈. Def a downgrade from other Rayark games, but it’s not really a *bad* game. I’d rather have a Cytus 3 in an alternative world with Ivy anda Vanessa together than DEEMO II with no connection to the original DEEMO in terms of storyline. I really can’t find myself getting attached to this game, no matter how excited I was for it before. In short, it’s a disappointment.

A Fall From Grace. As a player of all the other rhythm games by Rayark, even Voez, I have to say this title of the franchise is amazing in the art style, the gameplay (mostly because it calibrates well and has very well designed charts), and some parts of the story. But is lacking in the original setting and tone that others by Rayark have. I still enjoy playing it for about 5-10 minutes a week maybe but the energy bar, lack of starting songs without grinding, and battle-pass-like feature make it feel like a soulless cash grab instead of a masterpiece akin to that of other Rayark classics. I say this is an amazing game and it accomplished the release of a sequel to a story that had a definitive ending but, it’s features in the execution of release, IE adding all these basically milking a of the franchise for money, have made the series feel over done and the series as well feel like it is dying due to these decisions. Still a somewhat good game (no ads, you don’t have to pay if you really don’t want to) but I’m hoping for Rayark to make a comeback with a game that isn’t too much like the slight disappointment like this one as I don’t want one of my favorite rhythm game companies to revive backlash from this.

Quality. How is this even possible. All the songs are good and the art is just insane. The fact that you can earn premium currency by just playing is also a plus. The way you move your character takes a bit to get used to, almost made me quit until I saw there was a fast travel. Only issue I have is having to tap back a few times every time I go into the achievements page. Everything else is pretty awesome. Another great game by Rayark 🙏

A beautiful game, with a captivating story. (It could do without the IAP’s though.). I loved the first DEEMO, so when I saw this existed, I nearly jumped out of my seat! The music is beautiful, And the story is amazing so far. The only part I dislike, (and that’s strongly) is the addition of in-app purchases other than song packs, and stamina. It’s super annoying to have to either wait a really long time for stamina to recover, so gameplay’s more smooth, or purchase the coffee item with real money to recover stamina faster. I recommend this game, if you don’t mind long wait times for smoother/easier gameplay.

I’ve been waiting?. Ah it feels like for ever. Though the game finally came out! I’m so happy it did. I love the story cut scenes gameplay pieces and songs. The art is amazing the voice acting the music again is outstanding!!! The story at least for me is really interesting and I want to keep on playing till the end. Until the journey ends will we go our separate ways. I recommend playing the other Deemo games! Since I have only just played like 2 or so years ago Deemo I was super happy that it has another game!!!

Missing lot of content if you start late. So the game has limited time events every week. And these challenges give little art and a new music sheet to play. Burn of you miss finishing the event you can’t get them anymore. There are even costume and art packs that are limited time that become gone forever. They did implement pay to get missing music but that’s just for the events and not limited time music packs. If you didn’t start day one don’t start now.

Good game, but small concern. Game is great, plays like deemo, except with a bunch of other things added on to it. Now as for the small concern, I’ve played the game(s) on my iPhone 12 pro max and it ran just fine, but I just reinstalled it onto my iPhone 14 pro max and both games seem to have frame issues when pressing on the tiles and it throws off my rhythm. Aside from that, it’s a good game and would definitely recommend, but it’d be nice to have said issue resolved :^)

Beautiful game. I loved deemo but they really amped up the more interactive style of the game as well as the attention to detail in world building. I love the soundtrack and customization in. Bare tees or background especially when playing songs. I’m really looking forward to playing classic tracks and seeing where the story takes me in this new setting. Keep up the amazing work!!

Best mobile rhythm game by far!. This game has really good graphics I’ve seen in a mobile game, the story is great, the visuals are nice, the gameplay is good, but the songs in this game is amazing! You could just get lost in all of its content it has to offer! Over all, this game is excellent and I recommend that if you do like rhythm games or like good storytelling then it’s a must have.

A tiny bit sad. I’m was really excited for the release of the game since I’ve been a big fan of the original Deemo for years. The visuals are amazing and the story is very interesting, too. I love a lot of the new gameplay things as well. The songs so far are also nice. The small references to the original Deemo and other Rayark games are also a nice touch. I’m just a little sad about the whole pass system, and that I would have to get the pass to get certain songs. It doesn’t really sit right with me in a Deemo game, but I guess I’ll see how it goes in the future.

Great rhythm game. Don’t leave many reviews but I had to for this one, loved DEEMO reborn. So I had to try this one and was blown away the world and the cutscenes brought me more into the game than any other rhythm game. The collections of songs are great and the game it self plays great! Would recommend to all who like rpg, puzzlers, anime, and rhythm games.

I tried to give it a chance but I prefer the original in every way. I respect what they are trying with the story and exploration, and they actually did okay in that regard. But I honestly don’t care much about the story. I play Deemo because I like the songs and they are fun to play. However, Something in Deemo 2 doesn’t sit right with me. The notes fall in a more narrow horizontal column and it is less forgiving in relation to the speed. I like the new holding notes mechanic and the speed up/slow down, but they aren’t utilized well. Most charts are either incredibly boring or way too difficult. Deemo 1 had some songs like that, but there were only a few and I would either play them for the challenge or because I liked the song. Deemo 2’s song list just isn’t as good IMO. Really the only two songs I like are Felzione and Karanosu, both of which are fun and challenging to play, so no complaints there. However, every other song is either boring or just plain bad. I really tried to give the game a chance but ultimately I always return to Deemo 1. Hopefully they add more songs that are bangers with good charts to boot. I’ll check in again every once in a while.

Day 1 and already hooked !. This game is a masterpiece, among all rhythm games I played this game is the only one that seems to promote chart play without sacrificing/neglecting the work on the story or vice-versa. Amazing art style with a good focus on details, camera angle can be sometimes intimidating but for a good purpose. Although I haven’t played DEEMO 1, storyline is pretty comprehensible, and at same time it encourages you to get the first to understand plot roots.

Great game, but only for newer devices. I really want to give this game a 5-star review, because the game itself is wonderful. Good gameplay, interesting story, nice graphics, decent songs. I’ve been looking forward to the release for a while, and mostly been happy with it. The big problem is that the game is too much for my iPhone 7 to handle. It crashes, freezes, and buffers constantly. Which is really annoying in a rhythm game. After playing for about three minutes my phone gets super hot. I didn’t think my iPhone 7 was that old or that slow. I haven’t had speed problems with anything but this game and Genshin Impact. So if you have a new phone, you’re in for a treat. If you have a phone that is even slightly old, get ready to do a lot of restarting, redoing, and waiting for things to load.

Lovely game but…. The only problem I have with this game is that a few days into playing, there’s some background piano to the songs. I’ve tested it out a few rounds and it’s the accuracy of how I’m playing over the actual song. It’s pretty annoying because it doesn’t sound nice mixed with the actual music, and even if I get all the notes right with all gold, it still has a delay which makes it sound bad. I never had a problem with it until today which is weird because I made more mistakes then I did now. Everything else about the game is wonderful besides that and I just wanted to let the creators know :)

Great gameplay along with great music. Honestly this is some of the best music from a rhythm game I’ve heard especially on a mobile game too plus the story is great with cutscenes in between definitely high quality and it’ll be cool to have more people talking about this game

A Masterpiece in Its Own Right. What I love most about the original Deemo and its sequel is how different both games are and how they are both able to stand on their own, in their own respects, with delivery in captivating am emotional story. They don’t overlap each other, nor is a game in the other’s shadow. Love it so far and can’t wait to finish the storyline in this new entry

Rhythm story game at its finest. I played the original DEEMO when it first came out and I have to say… this one is even better! Love the story line and artwork. The music and rhythm style is relaxing and fun. I definitely would recommend this game for anyone who plays an instrument or simply enjoys music.

Great. The game is great! the style of the art, the storyline, plot, everything! no argument against those details. although, i didnt really expect the downloading to be really long for me. i guess im not really complaining since this phone is old, and it may be slow and laggy for downloading time, but otherwise…this game is really what i wanted! the reason why im actually playing this is because the other rythm game i play is taking too long to download on this phone, while i play it on my other phone. yes its still downloading while im typing this review, but i did watch the trailer and watch others play it so i did get a quick peek of what i’d be doing throughout my gameplay of it. i did also see the reviews of the first game of this, the original “DEEMO,” so i am also looking forward to check through that if i want to see what happened first before what happened in this game, “DEEMO II.”

Pretty but huh?. The game is graphically gorgeous and mechanically sound, and surprisingly coming from this developer, however it isn’t clear how exactly you are supposed to progress once you get through the main tutorial section, and as a result I still have the same like four songs to play and that’s it. It was frustrating to be approaching it from seemingly every angle and still not make progress, so I haven’t touched the game since.

Enjoyed it so far. Currently I’ve only done chapter one of the story, but I enjoy what they’re setting up. A lot of the songs are pretty good, although some are misses, though that’s expected with every rhythm game. The visuals are IMMACULATE and just looking at the game is pure eye candy. The use of colors is beautiful and I love the wonky town people! Great game, very fun and pretty.

So much yes. I have played Deemo for closing in on a decade now, and I have to admit that I was nervous about the sequel’s release. I pre-ordered tentatively and anxiously awaited the release- then today, release day, finally came. This game fully conveys the charm and beauty that made the previous installment so enchanting while adding enough new features to make it worthy of the title ‘sequel’. The story is engaging and I feel myself immersed in a whole other world in between songs. Do you like music? Play this game. Do you like adventure? Play this game. Do you like magical, fantastical adventure? Play this game. Do you breathe oxygen and rely upon water for sustenance? PLAY. THIS. GAME. Much love, Rayark. You guys rock.

ADD MORE FREE SONGS PLEASE. I’ve been playing Deemo 2 for quite some time, until I got bored of it. Why? It’s PAY TO WIN. You have to legit PAY to get more song packs, and it’s just annoying!! I had to rely on the same songs over and over again, and there’s absolutely no free songs or song packs. ADD MORE FREE SONGS AND SONG PACKS PLEASE!!

This is a huge overhaul and upgrade!. This is such an amazing game so far! The animation, story, design, EVERYTHING! I’ve been following DEEMO ever since when the first game came out and that game was such a masterpiece which played a big part of why I got into mobile rhythm games. This is honestly the most happiest feeling I’ve ever had playing DEEMO II, this is just pure, raw, enjoyment. I love everything about it. Best part it’s FREE! I know there’s some purchases to be made but I honestly think it’s worth every penny to support these wonderful artists and company. Thank you Rayark! You hit the park with this one.

Og Deemo Fan. I played the first Deemo back when I was a little kid and the game was still new, and this game has always kept a place in my heart. It clearly has not lost its charm, and with the new game comes a new string of memories to make. Amazing artstyle as always, and every single song is just as memorable. I am beyond pleased.

Shocked with Disappointment. I love Deemo, so when I realized they had released Deemo 2 I got pretty excited. Unfortunately, all the excitement was gone when I got in the game and saw that they turned into a "battle-pass-energy-limited" mess. The songs, art, voice acting are all amazing. And they deserve your money for sure. But the way they are monetizing this game is hard to grasp because of the various systems. Let's be honest, Deemo has never been very well monetized on iOS. The first one was better because you could purchase song packs and that was pretty straightforward. But still you could lose track of how much money you spent. That's why I bought Deemo on the Switch and also on PS4 when the PSVR version released. So I could experience more songs without being blocked all the time by a paywall. Granted, the experience on iPad is better because of the bigger display and touchscreen. But the monetization approach here is bad if not malicious. Please, let us pay $60 upfront and then unlock all songs through the story. Then release more packs later to expand our repertoire. Thank you and keep up the amazing work.

Disappointed. As someone who has played deemo countless of times and anticipated for the arrival of deemo 2, I am disappointed beyond comparison. Having a system that forces people to wait many hours to continue playing defeats the enjoyment I had with deemo. I could repeat a single song to try and beat my last score without the worry of running out of uses in the original deemo. I had a huge list of songs to play, without the need of purchasing a song pack. I’m sad to see a highly anticipated sequel go down the drain.

A skeleton of a game. extremely unfortunate that this is such a letdown after deemo 1. the cutscenes are beautiful and i appreciate the song and visual artist’s work to no end. the structure of the game ruins it. limited-time events that lock songs behind them to exploit FOMO, intrusive energy system that slows progress, an excess of currencies that largely feel meaningless, there amazing game underneath is ruined by these unignorable, intrusive addiction mechanics. not to mention a bland songlist with far too much focus on chill songs that feel less like they’re meant to build atmosphere and far more like laziness, and one-note characters that have little more than mediocre one liners to offer you. after how beautiful and unique Deemo 1 ended up, this is just a letdown in every way. play Deemo 1 or Deemo Reborn instead, you will have a much fuller experience without predatory game design that disrespects your money and time at every turn

Gets better with each chapter. Flawless rhythm gameplay and a beautiful, mysterious world to explore, just like the first one. The story part is greatly expanded. Lots of twists and turns and I can’t wait to find out where it’s going. I’m upgrading my review to 5 stars after the release of Chapter 2, because I’m confident the game will only get better as more content is added. Already there are plenty of songs, most of which can gradually be obtained for free simply by playing a few songs per day. The events with additional new songs are a great way to keep the game fresh between chapters. I was initially worried about the “free-to-play” transition, but after purchasing the Arcanum I feel it’s close enough to a premium experience. Not a case of greedy developers, but a responsible way to fund new content.

I cannot play. I really want to give this 5 stars but, I can’t even play the game because it takes forever to download load all the internal files! Even I have enough space. And whenever I go to a different app while it’s running it just restarts. It’s very frustrating! 😭

Honest review. I have played since deemo 1 both on mobile and switch and played the remake they are some of my favourite Rhythm games, I’m a bit upset with this new game it’s very money hungry with micro transactions I haven’t played long and hope it will get better. The only good things I can said are good about it at the moment is it looks pretty and the rhythm mechanics are really good. I’m a bit confused on the story it feels like I have missed a game or something cause I thought it was in the same Universe as the first one, the music so far is a bit Lacklustre or doesn’t really had the deemo sound to it . I’m looking forward to see what this game becomes and the story hopefully i can raise the star level in the future

My jaw dropped.. From the visuals to the music to even the storyline, this game is literally perfect! It reminds me a bit of The Legend of Zelda without the combat. Once you start the game you’ll be hooked immediately!

DEEMO 2. One of the best musical/ beat games I’ve ever played

Great Game. I always love Rayark games, and Deemo II is no exception. This time they changed it to push more for P2W, but I still completed the current story quest in 2 weeks without spending extra. There’s 8 free songs you can pick up from just doing side quests or finding it in the environment and a couple more from completing free events.

Money hungry. Would be a great game, and didn’t mind the monetisation at first (it’s a mobile game, nothing new there), but this latest update is inexcusable. A song pack with 3 songs but bundled with a bunch of useless cosmetics to inflate the price… Rayark just wants to squeeze as much money as they can from whales and have zero care for the casual consumer since they won’t make as much money from them.

Step in the wrong direction. I love the original Deemo, but Deemo 2 feels so much worse. The positives are the graphics and animations are great, but the story seems to make little sense and they really try to push you into spending money straight away. The songs that are available for free are ok but not great like in the original game.

Plz read this. I’ve noticed the game and its appearance, although the graphics are beautiful I sadly can not play it, as soon as I’m done loading a new game I get kicked every single time, please note this bug and please fix it!i still think your game looks beautiful and hope people don’t have the same problem as I do :D

Fantastic game and stories! But sometimes a little but buggy. I just updated for next chapter and new season. But it seems there’s no sound when I play the song?

popular opinion. adding the battle pass was a huge disappointment, gameplay and animations look very pretty, first deemo was amazing due to simplicity done very well, this deemo has tried to add so many things that its lost the simplicity charm of the first game and just feels over complicated and everything just feels underwhelming and the micro transactions feel more pressed on players.

Fantastic game but problems. Have been a fan of deemo since 2013 and absolutely love Deemo 2 thus far, from the songs to the art. Although two problems, I hope not but it seems that Rayark are a little to money hungry with these battle passes and the added store features, happy to spend money but it is way out of budget. Also the games progression is insanely slow. I’m trying to clear up the balcony of rain and have played the same 5 songs 20 times each and still haven’t gotten anywhere. A lot of potential but so far it’s been a disappointment. Sadly.

App crashing. It made me download all the data for the game which took a while and us a screen saying it’ll be released 13/1/22 and it’s the 18th then the app crashes and gets out of it doesnt even have a loading game screen

Amazing!!!. I love deemo!!! The visuals in this games are AMAZING! and the events are so much fun, I play rythm games all the time but no story compares to deemo games!

gameplay sucks. i understand that we need to play songs in order to really feel the lore and story of this game, but it’s so damn long and non skippable. deemo used to be so fun but i gotta pay for the 1st one, the second one is just time wasting and this is basically a no play without money game. what happened? i really love the rythmes and songs on this game but it’s getting hella annoying..

A bit awkward. The Touch Bar feels lower and the window to click it feels smaller as well making the timings awkward, and the songs are not as hard as the first one, the music is still really good and an amazing story as well

Perfect. I don’t usually play mobile games, and I find them quite annoying sometimes, so when my friends started talking about an upcoming game called DEEMO II, I had no idea what they were talking about, and I asked them about it. I then pre ordered this, as I was interested, and I have to say, this is an absolute stunner. The art is beautiful, the music is stunning, and as an FPS player, this is probably the only game outside the genre I’ve ever enjoyed. Absolutely amazing, 10/10, and I would highly recommend, to anyone from any type of game genre. Give it a try, it’s free, and you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic. I have no idea what I would’ve wanted with a Deemo sequel, but this feels right. Great music, expanded world and story, very playable without getting bogged down in daily quests, really just a great experience.

Only just started and I’m in love with this game. What so many games these days completely omit— charm, ambiance, character, and love; this game has it in abundance. There is no longer an excuse in my mind for massive game companies like EA or Guerrilla to have lack lustre music, bland worlds, soulless characters, when DEEMO II shows us what can be done on a modest-ish budget. 100% worth trying, i just hope the monetization later on doesn’t become toxic. I would have liked however, if I could buy this game outright without micro transactions.

Loving it so far. The music is beautiful, the environment is perfectly ambient, and the world building/story is amazing. I mean what else is there to say this game is ( in my opinion) the perfect mobile rhythm game.

So far, so amazing; i still hate IAP’s. Please note that A: i have not played Deemo 1, and B: i have barely started this game. I already have a good bit to say, though. In a word, this game is amazing so far. The SFX, graphics, dialogue, and (most) gameplay are all really good; not to mention the music ive heard. Though its not my favourite genre, the music is phenomenal. The movement and interaction is a bit clunky, what with not having camera control, but thats fine. Im great at rhythm games, but i’m not a professional, so its great to see a rhythm game thats not so easy that i get 100% in almost every song, but it’s not too hard to where i feel like i SHOULD be. I say this, because i got 100% in one of the challenges (not the one where i need to, though…) My only gripe so far is the IAP’s and premium currencies. This game fell into the “Season Pass” trap; a system which i absolutely hate. It costs $27.99cad, which is ludicrous for a rhythm game. I honestly thought Rayark was above this. The only reason i havent played Deemo 1 is because i didnt have the $2.79cad to get it; there is no way i’d ever pay nearly $30.00 for something i’m not even guaranteed to get! Aside from that, the premium currency is, frankly, brutal. In this game, 100 [insert currency name here] is a lot — it seems like it, anyway — so the fact you need 600 to get 5 songs, is brutal and unfair. TL;DR, the game itself is phenomenal, but unless you have money to throw at a game, you likely will never play this game to it’s full potential. Frankly, i would've rather payed $10.00 for this game instead of this, if given a demo. I will still play it, don’t get me wrong, but the IAP’s drag this game down a good bit, in my opinion.

Paganini Liszt Etude 6. I don't like it, it's incomplete. That paganini variation was my favourite and it skipped many parts which was very dissatisfying. I don't mind if it is 5 mins, just please include everything, thanks. Make competitions with players 1v1! see who gets higher score!

Great game overall. This is a very good, touching story. Please play till the end(the 4th chapter).You’ll find it surprising, especially you have some elderly family or friends. This story doesn’t bring me less impression than DEEMO I. I like it.👍 I need more art work that’s not produced by AI though!!!!!

Seems nice. It seems nice, I haven’t played it a lot since I am experiencing sound lag, I saw that there is supposed to be an option to calibrate, but I cannot find it at the moment in the settings.

An error guaranteed every 24 hours. Nothing can be worse than getting that “session expired” error when you just got a new high score. The game is so poorly programmed that it has to force exit every 24 hours to get a new session token. The main gameplay feels buffering smooth and you have to insert a crash on a regular basis? Completely ruined this otherwise perfect game.

Definitely worth the wait. I played deemo series for almost 7 years and these games never disappoint me. Deemo II will surely be another legend in music game.

Won’t let me in!. I got this game a little while ago, and went to go in, but when it was logging in, it told me I didn’t have enough space, and that I needed to clear 2792.742984 mb. I deleted a whole bunch of stuff, but it kept saying that exact same number. I powered off and back on, I deleted the app and redownloaded it, but it still says I need 2792.742984 mb. Please fix this so I can enjoy this beautiful game!

Best and most fun game I’ve ever played. The game includes many hours of gameplay and was overall the most enjoyable game I’ve ever played on my phone. Great music and challenging levels to practice hand eye coordination. Some levels may be very difficult even for people that play the piano (such as me). As well as all this there are very beautiful cut scenes that appear every time you reach a certain checkpoint they are very pretty and some even tell very heartwarming stories. DEEMO II WAS A DISSAPOINTMENT, DO BETTER RAYARK!!!

Developer is just amazing. I’ve play all of rayarks games and have love each and every one of them. With each new release they get better and better too!!!!

Amazing. I have been with Deemo since the first game and the amount you guys have grown and developed the game is incredible. This game doesn’t deserve to be free.

Unworthy of the name. Stamina system and one that recharges every 2 hours; If you can’t tell how greedy this new entry is, the “pass” system’s got the exact same interface as genshin lol; Forced 13 sec loading screen even on 13 pro, and generally spending way too much time on cutscenes and slow animation for that “artsy” feel; Event to unlock songs that forces you to play on the easiest difficulty which is utterly unbearable since the “sheet” design is so uninspiring;

It's a Joke. 1. Deemo 2 gives very few free songs. If you want all the current songs as of Jan 2022, you need to spend about $100 including "Echo Pass" and a ton of "Song Bundle Packs". Even if you buy and own songs, you can't play as much as you want because of the energy system which Deemo 1 didn't have. You can only play 10 songs per 10 hours. After that, you're required to use a currency that can be acquired by in-app purchases. 2. I'm playing Deemo 2 on my iPad Pro 2021 model, and this game runs like 30 FPS even though this device supports 120 FPS. Remove energy system and give us FPS options (30, 60, 120 FPS). It's definitely a huge disappointment 👍🏻

Nice game for DEEMO. I think this is sort of game if you restrict yourself from play it too long will actually benefit you. For a free2play, it is quite good. I am waiting for when ever a discount and buy the some albums I like. Take you time is the best strategy☺️.

My favorite type of rhythm/adventure game.. Amazingly fun and an enjoyable rhythm/art game that truly blew me away with its fun characters and detailed atmosphere. I don’t play many of these types of games but this one definitely will stick with me for a while. You have to try this out!!!

Wait to play or buy to keep playing. I dislike the idea that we are now forced to wait for a while before we can keep playing or buy enough material called radiance so that we can keep playing. I would have been fine with buying the music packs but this is beyond greedy for a company I’ve supported since a very long time

Very excited, BUT. The original game is very dear to my heart, so this sequel is obviously right up my alley, but I’m not a fan of so many music packs available as DLC from day 1. Not to mention the echo pass. I’m cautiously optimistic for now

Stop replacing human artists!. Loved “Deemo” to death, hadn’t found the time to get into this sequel. But hearing that the company fired humans to replace their hard work on the game’s beautiful art with “AI” art has soured my memories of the first game and destroyed my interest in the second. When all artists are out of work, who will the “AI” steal from to produce its inferior junk art, have you considered that? Hire back your human artists and PAY THEM PROPERLY.

Miss the original game mechanics. Story is boring an dragging, miss the old Deemo where is just a video more simple but Deemo ii feels trying to do something new but couldn’t executed right. Game itself is same as og but the everything else just doesn’t work that well. But gotta say music is goood

I love the game but “Need Help”. I cannot play the events the keys lines keep disappearing half way as it gets to the line. The story songs work great no problems at all. Just the events please.

Too many overheads. I like Deemo because it’s a simple, clear game with some narrative, but for the most of the part I can just play the meat of the game. But Deemo2 doesn’t focus on that. I’ll have to do a lot of things and I only get limited attempts on really easy songs. I’m quite disappointed.

How long do I have to play slow boring songs?. I’ve played for over 30 minutes already and haven’t had a bit of fun. How long do I have to sit through these super slow songs with only 100 notes? I’m experienced from the first game, I shouldn’t have to grind my way to fun.

Boring. As a long time fan of the first Deemo, this game failed to capture me as much as the first one did. I played it for a couple hours and gave up on it. Definitely had high hopes for this. I’ll be sticking to the first game though.

why i love this game. hi- to start this off i really love this game! i like how it's like other rhythm games, but you can actually interact and not just play music. in this game you can actually progress and interact with other characters, you can talk to them and move around, which i think is brilliant. and there's different modes, *easy normal hard* and you can adjust the speed of the notes

DEEMO 2. I have been playing the original Deemo and if I had to compare the first one to this one I would say I really really love Deemo 2 because there is so much more to discover and see I love the original and the second one you guys did an amazing outstanding job

Truly amazing!. Such a great game. The story is wonderful, the events, the A pass. So much to offer and a way to pass time. I’ve had connection server issues on and off and got booted, but it’s still in its early stages. Can’t wait for more to come.

An absolutely beautiful game. This game is a work of art, and clearly has so much to explore. The music (obviously), the art, the visuals in general. All put together to make one great thing. Now if they just adjusted calibration a bit, it’d be perfect. (If you have wired headphones, its supposedly great)
