My favourite rhythm game of all time. I’ve been playing Deemo for about 5 years now i think and I have yet to find a game that surpasses it. The story is touching, the music is unique and so many of the tracks stand out to me. The gameplay is really solid, the notes are responsive and the difficulty scales up pretty well in the story soundtracks (but spikes up in others haha). If you’re looking for a rythm game to dedicate yourself to, then I believe it should be Deemo. The only issues I’ve had are with the recent updates for IOS. They caused the game’s frame rate to significantly tank whenever there are too many sliding notes on screen and that really hurts the game because it affects gameplay drastically. Once that gets patched though I’ll have no issues and will be able to recommend the game 100%

One of my most memorable games. So this is the first time I’ve ever written a review, but I’m so touched by this game I feel it necessary. Deemo is probably the first game I’ve willingly/happily shelled out money on. It’s playable even without putting a good bit of cash into it, but supporting this game truly is a pleasure. The visuals are stunning, the cut scenes are touching, and the overall gameplay and music is magnificent. For a piano/rhythm game there really was so much work and heart that went into the making of this game. I can proudly say I’ve been playing for the past 5 years and can say I’m still not bored of it. For anyone on the fence about getting it, I highly recommend. This game has helped with my anxiety and brought me so much joy over the years. This really is a VERY well put together game by a company who really cares about the products they put out.

Simple, intense, and fun.. This game is amazingly fun and can get very intense which only makes getting through a song on full combo that much more gratifying. I sincerely love this game and it's music. Yet even though I gave this game 5 stars, it does have its problems. Occasionally all your progress is deleted. But, hopefully before you start the game you go to setting and make sure the cloud button is on (it will be orange and bright with a white cloud). If you have this on, at the end of every song, the game will save no matter what and says something like "Progress saved" in the top left corner. If the progress deletes or even if the message pops up that it crashed, just got back to setting and make sure the cloud button is turned back on. One more problem is the calibration setting can be annoying but once the calibration (there is a setting to adjust it) is right, the game is so much fun with a variety of music between the DlC and regular songs given.

One Single Problem. This game is incredible but there’s simply one problem I would like to see addressed. There are some songs I have bought that I simply cannot play, not because they’re too difficult or technical problems, but because their song titles are simply too long and cover a large portion of the top of the screen (my phone is quite small as well, so that doesn’t help). If, in a future update, Rayark were able to add an optional setting to remove most of the text and icons at the top, I would have absolutely no problem with calling this one of, if not THE best rhythm game I’ve ever had the joy of playing. Thank you!

Long ride. I’m sure I’ve left a review sometime ago, I can’t remember it’s been a really long time. I just want to write down how much I love this game. It’s what inspired me to buy a keyboard and learn how to play. I still remember absentmindedly looking for a rhythm game to play on my old iPhone in high school near a decade ago and stumbled upon this game that I still play to this day. I used to play some of the songs when I’ve had less than good day but I find myself happy now, it’s funny to feel like I’m looking back on fond memories of something that’s still there and living. I’m glad I downloaded this game all those years ago.

Great piano music game. I actually started playing this game a long time ago, probably around the time when the game first came out. There was only the first album and the few songs in it at that time (no album division). No storyline either I think? It’s been too long. I remember this game as one of my old games lost with my old device. Because I didn’t remember the name of the game I couldn’t download it again so it’s been a really long time since I’ve played this again. I’m so happy to find this game and that it is still in AppStore and even developed a second version! Yay! It’s quite rare to find an old game I miss in the past and even up to date. I can’t explain this excitement!!! XD

What happened to this game?!?. Hi, I used to play this when it first came out on the App Store and absolutely loved the game. I loved the way you felt like you were playing the song yourself and loved the music so much, I bought some of the songs on iTunes. I decided to reinstall the game on my new phone and got to playing it. This version is nothing like the original that hit the App Store a few years ago. The songs play themselves and hitting the notes throws off the whole song. Nothing matches up like it should and I’m disappointed. I fell in love with this game, it’s concept, and the music for the way it all fit together so smoothly. Now, I don’t know anymore. The off set key notes ruins the music’s feel and atmosphere. Thank you for your time.

This game was my childhood. I remember being a little kid and playing this on my IPod not really understanding the story but loving the music and the challenge. Now that I’m 20 years old it’s hard to find a good game that will keep you coming back on a mobile device. Once I found out that Deemo was still available in the store, I bought it immediately and started to unravel the deep and meaningful story through flawless or full combo play throughs of the songs. This game has truly stuck to its guns and made an amazing and impactful game that I am willing to come back to on the basis.

Forever happy with this game! Great support, too. Ive had this game for years, admittedly i got it when it was free on the app store but ive spent money on additional songs and absolutely love the game! I had a few troubles at first but everything i had issues with were fixed fairly quickly through updates. This game has been worked on thoroughly and constantly has new songs for free or for purchase. Ive gone from 2 stars, to 4 stars, to finally a 5 star review with no complaints. Definitely worth the purchase if you love music and want a long lasting investment of entertainment and challenges! Also a beautiful, emotionally involved story with stunning art work. This game is fantastic.

This game is by far my favorite rhythm type storyline game.. Starting this game as a Deemo fan All I thought about at first was its music but it turns out for me this game touched my deeply in my heart. For me this game about Deemo and the little girl who you will find out when you play the story out will have a unique ending which made me feel for the characters itself and you will find out the special surprise hidden within this game. Honestly my favorite rhythm game from the App Store. And my top picks for best games with story lines you will ever come across. If you have read this far thank you. And I hope you will decide to download this game and enjoy it yourself, If not that’s all right too.

Been Playing for About 4 to 5 Years. I’ve gone through and gotten a new IPad playing this game, meaning all my progress is gone :’D Unfortunately, I had to delete it from my other IPad about a year or so ago anyway due to storage problems, but now that I’ve got twice the storage, Deemo was one of the FIRST things I re-downloaded. There are so many different music tracks with so many different music types. There are songs from other rhythm games in here! I remember so, so long ago when I’d first completed this game. The story is heartbreaking, but happy. It’s about moving on and coming to terms with things. That there are things worth living for even if you don’t feel it at the time. To add onto that, it’s on piano with GREAT music and rhythm songs. To date, besides something like Beat Saber, this is THE best rhythm game I have ever played. ALSO For all the new players if you see this! This game has replay value. There isn’t only easy, normal, and hard versions of all the songs. On specific songs, after using the hourglass, you unlock EVEN HARDER versions after playing farther through the game. Heck, you unlock completely different areas when you use the hours glass. So KEEP PLAYING This game has a LOT to offer, and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Thank you so much for creating this game Rayark!

I am amazed. I cannot overstate how impressive the storytelling is for a game that has 0 talking to it. I just finished the storyline and was brought to tears by an amazing score that somehow speaks volumes to the story. Now, I played this game before it had the staircase addition. I always wondered what was behind the door, and what kind of story the game was trying to tell. I puzzled over it, and had my suspicions. I have to say, though my suspicions were 100% correct, the story is still told in a way that brought me to tears. 100% worth the money, do not skip over this masterpiece. The composers have done a wonderful job with the music they created. The story is told perfectly through it all. Please don’t miss out on it; the higher difficulty can be frustrating at times, but it’s part of an overall experience that, and I cannot repeat enough, is worth your time.

Love love love. I just love this game. I've been playing it since it came out, I've mastered most songs. The game play is fun and it's easy to use. I wish they would give you more songs for less money though. And the hourglass continuation cost way way way too much money. I really wish I could play it but I don't have $10 freaking dollars to pay for a small continuation of the game I already have. If it costed less I would 100% buy it and play for hours. Please make more games like these. I love the story and the game play!! If you are reading this just get the game!!! Well worth it!! Ps. A tip to play if you keep missing notes, make sure you are on the right speed for you and the level of the song.

Noice. Amazing game overall, well worth the 5 stars. Honestly my only criticism would be the cutscene songs (3rd Suspenseful Day, Fluqour, etc) forcing you to play them on easy—even in late game. It would be nice if you could change the difficulty. Granted, that’s inconsequential once you complete the story. I just remember being bored out of my mind my first play-through anytime it happened. I was very accustomed to playing 7+ difficulty at that point, so being forced to play lvl 1 stuff was snoozeville. But again, great game. The art, music, and story are fantastic. I love the new songs, and this game introduced me to several genres of music I would have never found on my own. :D

Thank you for fixing the crash issue!. I downloaded Deemo way back when it was App of the Week a few years ago. Ever since then, it has always been my favorite game. I love the simplicity of the gameplay, something that to me is so much less cluttered and confusing than Rayark's other rhythm games. The songs in the game are absolutely beautiful, and there are so many more to purchase separately. Recently, with the Version 3.0 update, my device (iPad mini 1) would crash every time I tried to open the app. However, I was very impressed with Rayark's response, as they released an update to fix the issue within a week. The game now runs relatively smoothly, though it still occasionally crashes after I finish a song. Long story short: GET THIS GAME. IT IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. Honestly, it's worth even more than just two dollars.

Unbelievably Special. This game is just... beautiful. Like the other users, I’ve also had this game way back since around 2014. By far, compared to other rhythm games, the simplicity always puts me in a sort of trance. It’s like becoming one with the game itself, y’know? I gotta say, I uninstalled this game after 2 more years (so around 2016) since I needed more space in my storage. Such a sad thing. Now, after 2 more years, I wanted to relinquish the past and decided to reinstall the game. Unfortunately, for some reason, the data was lost and all my full combos reset. It was truly an unfortunate event. So I had to restart from scratch, as I did feeling ever with remorse. But now after I uninstalled the game to get more space again and reinstalled it back quickly then synced the data (supposedly with the recent new game data) all my data back from 2014 came back???!! I jumped in joy deep inside like never before, albeit in pandemonium. I mean.. there was no way my data back from 2014 would’ve come back, right? I also pressed the synce button after I started from the beginning like.. twice. What a miracle, indeed. This is truly how much I love Deemo. It showed me alot of things. Even that miracles do happen, even if they’re nothing to boast much.

Fun but frustrating for some people.. Deemo, even though you have to pay for it it’s still fun and interesting. When people say it’s frustrating is because they don’t practice on it that much and just start getting angry that they can’t play on hard level or something like that. I passed this game three times and this is my fourth time restarting it and training my skills. This also encouraged me to play the piano because I just fell in love with the music. I recommend this to all of my friends and family. Would appreciate if you add like expert mode or something. I never missed any of the lines in normal or hard level ( and easy level). So, I think this app trains your fingers and piano skills too ( probably ). Hope this somehow helps you thanks and bye!

After 5 years, still enjoyable. When I first got this game and out on headphones, I couldn’t stop playing. After I got to the limit of where the game was at its end, I deleted it. And multiple times across devices, I would download it again and get to that point again. Then when I saw the icon change in the store, I knew something was up. And boy was I amazed by the additional art and songs. Lots of bangers in this game for what it’s worth. If I were to say what the best rhythm game is in the IOS store, it’s gotta be this. Just the story alone was breathtaking and so nostalgic. I love this game so much. Even if it was a bit of a grind, I’d say it’s definitely worth the ending. And I haven’t even bought one dlc, if I had birthday money, it would be definitely be spent on this game.

Buy This Game and Your Life Will be Complete. So, I actually started playing this game even before the full thing had released after a friend had recommended it to me (the game originally ended right after you grow the tree to its fullest height). And that was I think about 5 and a half years ago now. And I can not tell you enough that this game is absolutely incredible, and not a money waster. Deemo is a true masterpiece among games. The visuals are stunning, the music is gorgeous, and the story is beautifully written. The story progression is so well done, as you slowly unravel the mystery of the world you have found yourself in (the ending is going to leave you a changed person. And no, that is not an over statement), all while you get to play beautiful scores that feel like people put real heart into them. And there is so much free content, let alone all of the albums you can buy. Each piano piece you play comes with wonderfully drawn art. I guess you could call it the music cover art? And GOOD LORD just the game itself is a ton of fun to play. So, even if you don’t care about story in anyway shape or form, if like or love rhythm games, BUY THIS THING. Thanks for reading, if you got this far, and I really do hope you get this game. You will not regret it. Trust me.

The Best Game On The App Store. So I got this game in 7th grade. 6 years later and I’m in college and still play this game at least once a week. I cannot recommend how good this game is and how much it is worth the money. The story is great, the gameplay is great, and the music is great. Given that I’ve played as long as I did (with some breaks here and there) you would think I’ve ran out of content, but there are still challenging songs and songs that I can barely even pass. And because there are so many good songs there are always 6-7 good songs that are perfectly within your difficulty. As far as other rhythm games (Cytus I/II, Phigros, Arcaea) it’s this one I always come back to. Cytus I is ridiculously unforgiving. Cytus II is rediculously forgiving. Phigros is fun but all the challenging maps are gimmicky and if you play them enough you’ll eventually get a score if you want. Arcaea is impossible to play at high difficulty on phone. Deemo, however, is different. Difficult maps feel possible on phone, and there’s no better feeling than getting a score you’re happy with. So please. Buy the game AND the Forgotten Hourglass. It literally triples the games content. Best purchase I’ve ever made in my live no exaggeration.

newer songs are weird. I love deemo with all my heart, it’s a super fun game with cute songs and an amazingly written and well-portrayed story. I have loved it since like early 2015 or whenever it was available on the App Store (and I actually had an ipad). I just am commenting on one issue I have which is in the shattered memories packs the pacing of the notes sounds weird. Like when I hit a note that’s charming it’s not going at the same time as the background music, so the song sounds like it’s playing at different tempos and it’s confusing. I remember there being a problem like this in the past but I don’t remember how to fix it, so I’m leaving it in a review. Hopefully it will be resolved and sorry if the title of this review sounds like clickbait that’s just because it is. I love you guys who made deemo it’s a wonderful game so keep it up!!

Best App Game Ever!. I've been playing this game since it first came out. I played it first on my old LG G3 way back then and when I finally got an iPhone, it was the first6game I bought because I knew how much fun this game was. It has changed visuals a lot since it first release, but it has only gotten better. More songs, more story, more everything to this game. I'm glad to have been apart of its growth from when it was nothing all the way till now when it's about to have a movie. To me, playing some songs remind me of certain times in my life, that's how long I've been playing this game. I was never too big into rhythm games or anything, but this game is a huge exception. Great pieces, great artwork. It's a masterpiece of a game and I can't recommend it enough!

a returning “veteran”’s thoughts. I first played Deemo around 8 years ago when i was but a wee widdle boy in his 5th grade, and it was because of this game that invoked an interest in music for me. I was somewhat heartbroken to have found that the game had unintentionally uninstalled itself due to a bug that is now fixed. By then I had about 2 years of experience in Deemo and i absolutely enjoyed my time during the experience. The music is amazing in all aspects and the game, although challenging, is very fun because of the very well illustrated story line. Fastforward several years, i am now graduating highschool and have reinstalled Deemo to find that the game is still giving the same pleasurable experience i had all those years ago and some very nostalgic music at the same time. Im not trying to be cheesy but i may have shed a tear while playing Mirror Night Reflection by VK because it was so beautiful and nostalgic :’) omg i lovw this game so much zmcbdkalapspfjfba s the developers deserve so much credit for what they have done for me and everyone else for the better part of the past decade I LOVE U

‘Saving Grace’. I found this game when i was younger and was a year or two into piano lessons. At the time i didn’t really process the beauty hidden in the simplicity of it. Over the years i kept coming back to it and i’ve been on it for almost the full seven years its been out. I’ve cried about ever time i finish the story (including the hourglass runs). This last year really hit hard for me and i felt i really lost myself. I’ve been playing piano for 12 years now but last year i couldn’t bring myself to the bench. I redownloaded Deemo and this game single handedly reminded my why i played in the first place. Once you listen to Rabpit’s Dream, you’ll never go back. I can’t say i’ll ever get tired of this game. In short: If you have the slightest appreciation for music, you’ll fall in love with Deemo.

Nostalgic and Satisfying. This playthrough, for the first time I bought the Shattered Hourglass. While there's plenty of content without it, and plenty of gorgeous songs with good charts too, I wanted to see the further story & songs. I'm very satisfied so far. I've loved this game since i first played it most of a decade ago in high school. The additional base game content has only filled out the appeal for me, though it does become a bit much to pick thru sometimes for replay. It's a lovely piano based rhythm game, and like all of the Cytus team's work, it delivers a melancholy and engaging story. Unless their taiko remake was cytus team - i can't imagine Taiko no Tatsujin has a sad setting but what do I know.

Constant challenge. I had this game closer to when it came or originally, and loved it then, but had to get a new phone that couldn’t play it soon after that. Now once I’ve been able to get back to a phone that can play it, I take whatever chance I can to do exactly that. This game offers constant challenges with the many many songs that you can unlock by playing certain songs. I used to not be able to play the hard mode songs, now i can’t do the easy ones because they’re too easy to me, but that’s ok, because even with just normal and hard modes for each song I have plenty to do

Worth every penny. This is pretty much THE rhythm/piano game to get on iOS products. For the two dollar entry cost you get a nice amount of songs, each with multiple difficulties. The play style intuitive and should not be hard to figure out for even new players to the genre. I am embarrassed about how long it took me to figure out how to switch difficulties though. You click the circle to the left while selecting the song. The art style in very appealing and the introduction of a story with progression makes the game even more interesting. You'll get enjoyment out of this game if you have any interest in the genre. TL;DR: buy the game and try it. The expansions are optional and the base game is worth the two dollars.

Phenomenal!. I first downloaded and played deemo in 2012, and i must say this rhythm game is lacking absolutely nowhere. Amazing, heart-wrenching storyline and top-notch gameplay, a treasure trove of content, you will not be disappointed. (Fyi broken hourglass is dlc, completely worth it, extends story and gives valuable character and story information as well as many many new songs.) Except for restoring broken hourglass progress on a re-download. For some reason my deemo was acting like it was downloading and installing rather than updating when I tried to update it yesterday, and it wouldn’t even work so i deleted and re-downloaded it. However all of my broken hourglass songs are not restored when i synced deemo with game-center, and my saika ex score is at zero so I know it doesn’t sync progress on broken hourglass songs. I wish rayark’s deemo team would make the dlc content backed up like the normal songs. I often must delete things for space, i only have 16gb on my phone after all, so unfortunately i have to be on and off with deemo. Please let us sync dlc progress with game center if possible, thank you deemo developers.

Phenomenal. This game is sickeningly beautiful and addictive. The beginning is so simple and so vague, the journey is sweet and lively, and the ending is surprisingly powerful. It legitimately gets to me every time and I've replayed the storyline 6 times. I almost cried when I got the final photo (before the credit pictures which were honestly disappointing). Only advice I can give to the developers are add a little more to the memories and give adding music a break. There's plenty of songs for now. More replay value!! Also, as someone else said, it is incredibly difficult to get all charming notes in a song and it gets frustrating but I don't know what you can do for it. Other than that, it's a wonderful game that I've had no crashing issues with, it's moving, the music is lovely, and the artwork is fantastic. Thank you for making this game <3.

Awesome game but PLEASE FIX THIS. Great game, had it since before the change of the look of the books and 2.0. Only problem is on my iPod 5 touch it lags when there are an excessive amount of notes, it also crashes a lot when trying to open books menu from one book I'm already in, lags the game even more when BGM and keys are on which causes spikes to where it skips the song. Infinite puzzle crashes my game if I don't load it first and quickly, and even then it lags a lot. It also has been saying it can't log into Game Center even though I already am causing a long wait period to get into the game. If you are going to get this make sure you have a really strong device like an iPad. Otherwise it's a game I still recommend you buy right now, but Rayark, PLEASE FIX THIS

My favorite game, period.. I’ve been playing Deemo for years now, let me start with that. I got it for free over 5 years ago, and honestly, I rotate through games a lot. I don’t even play that many rhythm games, and if I do, I delete them after a few months. But Deemo, despite the huge file size, has been a staple on every device I own for years. I was incredibly bad at first when I got it for free, and let my sister try it out. After seeing her do it successfully, I began to play. And my gosh, no game has made me cry as much as Deemo has. The story is artfully crafted, and the songs are beautiful (even the ones I can’t stand). I’ve made quite a few in-app purchases, and have never felt shafted by the content I’ve been given. The entire $10 IAP for replaying the game was worth it simply for Shattered Memories book 1, but honestly the number of times I’ve played Post-Script and cried is insane. I can’t rate this game highly enough. You owe it to yourself to try it out, please.

I'm speechless. I was not expecting that ending. I recently finished the game within a few days and it's definitely one of the more memorable ones, if not the most beautiful mobile game you'll surely remember the journey to. Deemo is a rhythm game, with different available collections of albums and songs to each with three difficultly modes-easy, normal and hard. As you fly through the beautiful songs, the tree will continue to grow and then the stairs until Deemo returns to her world. The game has amazing songs, plot, ending, a gorgeous art style and is addictive. If you want to move on faster, there will be rooms you can enter after unlocking it with glowing orbs that'll spawn, which gives you extra height for the tree/staircase. Also after some period of time, you'll need to go through the different rooms to activate things. I absolutely love Deemo and it's definitely my favorite. I strongly recommend that you experience this wonderful journey with Deemo and little girl. And I applaud you if you aren't moved by this masterpiece.

My favorite Mobile Game. When's the last time a game has ever made you cry? Made you feel curious? All while providing gameplay that while simple when seen, is complex and deep as it progresses. This game has made my love for piano grow exponentially and introduced me to the world of Modern Korean/Japanese/Chinese pianists. True creators of beautiful pieces with deep meaning. Did I mention the songs are in English? It may not seem immediately obvious when you start playing them but look the lyrics up online and you'll find a cascade of delightful lyrics, poetic, of which I have spent hours searching up words for (did not know flowers were so complicated haha). 10/10 it was a thrill. It might not be as difficult for the hardcore gamer but it definitely provides a challenge, especially for those with the passion to learn and progress, finally getting that 100% on the tough song. :)

I have no words.. There’s no way to describe how amazing this game is. I’ve had this game for 2.5 years now, and I just purchased the Nintendo Switch version as well. Deemo is a game that perfectly combines fun gameplay, beautiful music, and an emotional storyline. The gameplay is easy to learn for people new to rhythm games, but also has levels that are perfect for hardcore rhythms gamers. Be warned, although you do start out with a good amount of songs, there are a lot of DLC’s. If you aren’t a fan of this, and have a Nintendo Switch, buy that version. It comes with every DLC for only 30 dollars (considering I’ve spent over 60 dollars on the iOS version of Deemo already, that’s a pretty good deal). This is a must have game for anyone who appreciates music.

Wonderful!. What a beautiful game, both art and story! A amazingly touching and fun play. (Thank you so much to the creators!) It is very easy to get invested in these sweet characters and their mysterious world. A heads-up to players: the ending credits song is sung by the masked lady, I think. (You'll understand when you get there.) Also, I think this is a translation issue, but if you're playing with young kids, be aware that there's a single, very out of place bad word in the game. I thought it just sounded silly, and otherwise, this is a good game for young children, though you might have to be older to enjoy the plot. Young children will still like the falling note aspect if they don't know about the story, though.

My Story with this game. I first got this when I was pretty young like 13? I sucked at it, and barely got anywhere; but a few years later I got back into it and was having a lot of fun! I introduced all the friend I could to it, and a lot of them got it; but the thing is, I described the game based on what I first encountered. To me it was a super cute game where a girl falls through a ceiling into this lonely things realm aka Deemo. So me and my friends are constantly playing this game and enjoying it so much; I realize now that we were Stimming, as I’ve realized I’m autistic, and it was an amazing way to escape the world and experience sensory bliss~ But the thing I mainly want to touch on is that discovering the new areas I hadn’t discovered before made me realize there was more to the game! I’ve now played until the ending 3 times at various points in my life, and I start crying every time right at the end. It’s hard for me to cry, but the area right before the end makes me tear up and the ending always has me bawling my eyes out and sniveling. 10/10 one the best games ever, the gameplay is incredible, the music is amazing, and the ending will rip your friggin heart out. Enjoy!

Insanely Incredible. I usually don’t write reviews, but this game has me blown away. I have been playing for a couple years now and there has never been a dull moment. There are endless choices of music; I have never run out of songs to play. Game updates are always full of new content and music. The art is beautiful and you can tell that somebody poured themselves into each and every image. Although some might say thats its too expensive and that it takes up too much space, YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING. I am a broke teenager playing on an iphone with 16 gigs of storage, yet this game and the investment that i put into it have survived on my phone much longer than any other game. Other games may come and go, but this one stays.

Beautiful in every sense. Deemo is just that kind of game that you don’t really expect to be that good, but that when you finish it you understand how good can a simple game be. Deemo is a rhythm based game, kind of a piano tiles game but made more custom to every song. In most rhythm games you get a certain amount of lines where the notes will be going, but in Deemo you don’t really have a certain amount of lines, it just feels like playing a mini-piano. The music is beautiful and really makes you enjoy playing it, to the point where you feel like a pianist playing in front of a stage. It also has a storyline which is beautiful in every way. The illustrations are delightful, and the music that goes along with it makes it even better. I recommend this game to every person that is looking for a simple but yet deep game.

Amazing game! Easily recommended.. I received this game free because of their anniversary special. I’d say that this game would be perfect if it was always free, although usually there is a 3 dollars paywall normally. Usually I don’t care about the stories in these kinds of games, but when the developers try to attempt a good story, I want them to look at this game, the story is great, especially for a rhythm game. I had the Nintendo Switch version before getting the app, but all of the songs I saw on that version were pretty good. If you only buy the main game, you can keep the game pretty fresh, but only if you play every song given to you. But if your willing to throw some money at this game, then do that, especially if you get the Forgotten Hourglass DLC, because it adds a lot of different things to do, but it gets boring to progress if you don’t have new songs to play. Also, keep in mind that even if you are ok with the amount of songs you get to complete the DLC, the more you play a song, the less the tree will grow, making it very hard to progress. Despite the negatives, this is a very good game, and I recommend it to everyone who mentions rhythm games.

Fun but frustrating. This game peaked my interest by including a wide variety of fun songs and challenging rhythms and setting it all to a wonderful, albeit minimal, storyline. Don’t get me wrong, Deemo is a wonderful game and I don’t regret buying it. That being said, as I’ve gotten further along in the game, my desire as a completionist to finish songs with full “charming” combos has brought about a small sense of loathing. The game is waaaaay too finicky about what counts as a charming note or not, especially considering it doesn’t include a musical staff and it doesn’t count measures. You can only fully complete a song through either experimenting with timing, fully memorizing the song by playing it over and over, or by somehow managing to perfectly set your synchronization (the settings there are awful and confusing). If you don’t care about charming and just enjoy getting full combos, that’s still perfectly doable for the average driven player. However, you have to go the extra 500 miles (or be extremely talented/lucky) to even have a chance with charming. Still a great game, sorry if this review/essay makes it sound otherwise.

Deemo is amazing. Deemo is a game that’s well worth the amount you pay. Sure, there are plenty of bonus songs that you do have to buy, but it gives you a frankly staggering amount of content with your initial purpose, and the replay value is through the roof. I find myself constantly coming back to Deemo, though the tree is long since fully grown. Trying to improve your scores on your favorite songs is addicting. I don’t know what else to say, but if you like rhythm games, or think you might, I strongly recommend Deemo. The piano is charming, the art style is adorable, and the story is simple and sweet. Plus, it’s not much money- and the soundtrack is to die for.

Amazing. Edit: I haven't had the issue again so yeah 5 stars This is my favorite app and I feel really bad for rating 1 star but this needs to be addressed. I had 50m tree and 100% stairs completed. I played a song and then my phone locked, so I unlocked it and everything was gone. I've spent at least 30 hours on this game and seeing it all gone makes me feel horrible. Now all of the collections I had are gone and all of my scores are gone. I've already played through the story twice and I really don't want to again so I guess I won't be playing this anymore. Please fix this so no one else has to deal with it Edit: I forced myself to play again and I finally got back into the game. I reached 44 meter tree, the game crashed, and I lost all of my progress again. The cloud save didn't work even though I had it on the whole time :/ this is just frustrating and disappointing

Forever My Favorite. The amount of joy this game has brought me ever since I was little is something I cannot express, even in a review. I could tell my friends, family, and strangers on how great this game is and they still probably won’t know how much I love it. I hold this game so close and dear to my heart. I’ve always had a love for music and music games, so you could probably guess why this is my favorite. Not only has the plot inspired me but so has the music! I honestly cannot wait for Deemo 2! If this game has touched the hearts of many, mine included, then I’m sure the next one can too! :,^)

Favorite App of All Time. I’ve been playing Deemo since 2014, if I remember correctly, and it’s still my favorite app of all time. The music is amazing, the art is beautiful, and the story to go with it is unique. It’s well worth the couple dollars that it costs to say the least. The game takes a lot of practice to get good at, but the music is so good that it makes improvement fun rather than strenuous and annoying. I do think that any songs past level 8 difficulty become a bit excessive for me, but I’m sure there are people out there who relish the challenge. I’m also a bit disappointed that there is some lag, but it’s minimal enough to not cause any major problems. Overall it’s an amazing game that brings any other music game apps to their knees.

If You Buy It - You Better Keep It On Your Device!. I was one of the first to purchase this game when it was introduced. I played often, but eventually my time had to be spent on other, more important things. So after a while, I removed it from my device. Now I have time to play again, so I downloaded this and attempted to play. The game was basically a hollow shell and all the space for songs were empty. I contacted the Developer and asked what I needed to do to play again and was basically told; ‘sorry, but the game changed while you weren’t playing and there’s nothing we can do to restore the game as you knew it’. How disheartening is that?! Anyway, I still gave them two stars. I feel they only deserve one star for the lack of consideration they showed me (especially as I not only bought the game early, but also recommended it to many of my friends). But I gave an extra star because high quality music games (once amongst the most popular* games you could play on iOS devices) are now few and far between. There was a time when having the ability to play certain music games (as some were only available on an iOS device) made owning an iPhone an enviable experience. *Rock Band 1 & 2, Guitar Hero & Guitar Hero Live, Tap Tap Revenge (8 Different Versions), Guitar Rock Tour 1 & 2, Lyric Legend 1 & 2 ... I could go on and on

This love never dies. I finally bought a new iPad just so I could keep playing Deemo because my previous one became too obsolete to play it. Yup, it was THIS GAME that finally motivated me to upgrade. I love the gameplay, the storyline, and especially the music. I loved discovering new songs to play. I first found one of my now favorite artists through this game. Mastering a song feels so satisfying. I really feel like I’m playing the music. If I’m off-time, I can definitely tell. I always buy the new songs that come out, and I’m never disappointed. An easy game to play, but extremely difficult to truly master. I never get tired of it. It is, in my opinion, the best mobile game and one of the best games period.

Perfect blend of gameplay and narrative.. I absolutely adore this game. I've had it for almost a year. The songs are varied in difficulty and genre, making the gameplay itself remain interesting. The consistent approaching speed of notes is a helpful feature that other piano-based rhythm games lack. The mechanics are easy to grasp for players of all ages. As for the story, I love watching the little girl and Deemo grow closer together as she makes her way closer to home. Their connection is so beautiful and pure and the ending makes me cry every time. I enjoyed the mystery the first time around and the replays are just as good, even when I know it will turn out the same. Well worth the price, even for DLC. This is my favorite game. Best music game you'll ever play. I absolute fell in love with this game the day I played it. It has a wonderful story that is told in a very unique way from many other games even on console standards. The gameplay is solid and outdoes any other music games I have played before. I have been playing this game for 4-5 years now and am happy but also very sad to say that I have beaten it many times after such a long wait to see what happens along this short but long awaited journey. This game is absolutely worth every penny and I would buy it 10 more times if I needed to just to re-experience this wonderful masterpiece that bas bestowed itself upon my device. Rayark delivers [edit: SADNESS]. I literally got this game to play while I wait for the next update of Cytus 2.“Deemo” though, is unique in itself. Its beautifully cute! [edit: and evil. I was too soft] I was expecting there to be a lot of similarities between it and Cytus, but the way you play and the art style is even different. Actually, playing it can be calming. It’s casual and mellow. The tap notes sound like piano tiles. The story is kind of slow(at least in the beginning)[edit: until you realize what’s going on] but make sure you don’t miss that you should interact with the “home screen!” [Edit: it’s actually where the adventure is] Rayark has the best mobile game designs and art I know at this point. I wouldn’t mind working for them..ehehe. (They charge kinda expensively for add ons, they must be doing well) I think I’m gonna try out all their games like on Steam and stuff too, because whatever they make has to all be this good! [Edit: they’re also good at hurting my heart.]

Patience is bliss. I have played and known about Deemo since I was 12. I never had the closure to finally play the game entirely until this year. It’s been 6 years but I finally finished the game today. And I’ll say this- it gets a little tedious at the start to get the tree to grow to certain heights in order to progress to the story, but it is worth every second and time to play this game. Deemo is a lot like a fairy tale of some sort- it had beautiful graphics, the soundtrack is beautiful, and I just love everything about this game. 2 dollars for a game that has one of the most beautiful and emotional stories out there is a steal! I’m in love with this game and I’m so happy to have finally finished this game and finished the second chapter of Deemo 2 today. I will do my best to continue to support the game!

DLC difficulty. This game is perfect and all but since Rayark released the new dlc and adding a new difficulty to songs when you unlock the charts, some of the songs require 3 or more fingers which I find ridiculous considering I've played this game for a good 3 years now and only ever needed to use my 2 thumbs. I have this game on iPhone and hold the phone while I play so I can only use my thumbs to tap and would rather keep it that way

Perfect, Absolutely Perfect. Whenever I feel really stressed out or enraged with anger I play Deemo and I feel like I'm actually the one playing the piano. The sounds are just fabulous, even though most of the songs I can't understand it's refreshing. My most favourite songs are the Jumping Star and Reflection. Another thing is that the animation is well made and unique unlike other games like Magic Piano. Anyway, it's another thing I like about this app is that you don't have to wait for the music to load, the moment you press play the music is READY. Overall I had a blast playing this game and I definitely recommend this to music game fans and also those that are curious to play.

It would be perfect if it weren't for one issue.... Deemo is packed full of variety and challenge for such a small price. Simple to learn but hard to master, this is pretty much my favourite app at the moment and one of my favourite rhythm games ever. Each song has it's own unique way of utilising the piano and each sounds magnificent. It even has a little story attached which is very well done and very touching for something so simple Really there's only one thing that irritates me about Deemo and while it has nothing to do with the game itself (which is brilliant by the way) it is still a blemish on what I consider to be the best music game on the App Store right now... Deemo has A LOT of DLC! While there are a fair few songs to unlock without them, the packs have a lot more and good ones too. There are about 11 packs each costing 4.99 each! Plus having to pay for the app itself! While I bought every single one and every song in these packs not only adds replay value but also contains some great pieces of music, it gets expensive FAST! Eating up about $50+! That's only a little less then a brand new AAA game on consoles! For a music game on the App Store this is absolutely ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, if you love the piano or just rhythm games in general, you WILL love Deemo... Just be prepared to get addicted and maybe even lose quite a bit of cash in the process...

Great game. Best storyline.. This is a great game, with the best storyline I have seen on a rhythm game so far. If you haven't downloaded it, I would suggest it as one of the best rhythm games there is, along with cu Cytus, Phigros and Cytoid. Though it has a really hard judgement system, so that is my only warning when downloading this game. I also hope a sequel comes out, if it is possible.

Crashes on Cutscenes (update). The crashing cutscene problem stopped after restarting the iPad couple of times so it's playable and the new dlc is definitely worth it!

ITS A M A Z I N G just one thing. Ok I get how much there is on this game and it’s amazing hands down, but I don’t quite understand why it’s free on my tablet but not on my phone? I have a Samsung tablet and an apple phone and it costs $3 on my phone. Again not huge and I don’t actually care that much, but questions. It also takes a billion years to download like 2GB of game too. It’s so big!

Probably the best rhythm game released to this day.. This review will probably be biased but I’ll try my best to keep things objective. This game is easily in my top 5 games of ALL time. Such a beautiful and entertaining game. I got this game years ago and played it every single day to and from uni for 2 - 3 years. So I’ve got a lot of time in it. At first it was a little difficult to get into it, the piano and the music didn’t feel like it synced properly but that was purely my own fault as this style of music makes complete sense when you get the hang of it. The art, UI and gameplay are perfect and clean. NO bugs encountered through out my different phones, crashed very rarely in my iPhone 4. The songs are honestly beautiful, I never was really into this style until the gameplay sucked me in and then everything fell into place after that. Mastering a song feels amazing, you genuinely feel like you are playing piano in these pieces. There is so much content too, with new albums you can buy coming out when you least expect it! So there has to be down sides right? Well the story is fantastic, art and theme is beautiful, gameplay is smooth and addicting so what is the problem? The only issue is buying more albums is costly, if I remember correctly it’s about 6 or 7 bucks for 4 - 6 songs. You can buy songs individually which I ended up doing, don’t worry you get to have a listen to the song before you buy it though. This is a 100% no brainer if you enjoy rhythm games. This game even inspired me to pick up piano to learn some of these crazy good songs. I will recommend this till the earth explodes.

Stunning game, but.... Alright, hands down, this is the greatest mobile rhythm game of all time, blah blah blah, you know the gist of things by now if you’ve seen the other reviews so I’ll spare your time on that. Although this game is outright perfect, I would recommend decreasing the app size, as the majority of the songs aren’t really played too much and 2.6G is way too much for my old phone with 16G storage. It’s great! But.... I’ve been playing this game for a few years now, and I love every bit of it. However, the pricing of the extra collections are bit too much. For me, it costs $10AUD and I would buy the extra collection if it was cheaper. I understand that money is needed to continue creating more content, but it should be affordable. Besides this, it’s an excellent game.

Almost there. This game is really, really good, with smooth graphics, and a touching storyline. But what's would be better is that you lower the price of the additional albums to 1, 2 dollars at most. Most albums only have 3-5 songs, and in my opinion, is not worth it. Beautiful songs, could do with some system updates. I love this game, I can play piano songs to challenge my motor reflexes and my grandma enjoys hearing some of the songs. The only improvement I would make is having the available songs and the songs that aren’t bought on different menus, sometimes I have to scroll across quite a few of the new locked songs to get to the album I like. Maybe similar to the tree option at the start of the album collection having all the un bought songs in there and the songs available in the main group. I feel like that would make some players feel more pleased and comfortable with it

Why I love this game. I love this game so much! It’s so unique it even has stories all about the game. There’s also piano songs and they keep coming! But at the end I thought it was the end of the game but no it was not then I got to see Alice’s room. All I’m trying to say is that this game is amazing!

Each song has its own beauty in different ways, to be honest I can play a song for a thousand times or so. Hello, so I paid for the game, but when I loaded the game, it displayed the message “due to version update, please restore your purchase at App Store,” and when I pressed the restore purchase button in Deemo, it did nothing. I have played deemo on other devices before, and I have never had this problem. Please help me fix this.

Really Special. Guys, this game is really one of a kind. Everything about it is beautiful, and it makes you truly feel how the main character does. It’s worth every single dollar. While I was playing, I felt connected to Deemo, and wanted to be there for him. The music, and pictures are so amazing as well. And the story is so worth seeing. I cried so many times while playing this.

Solution to Deemo Crashing.. Hello everyone! I have found a method on how to prevent Deemo crashing. Please read throughly and carefully of this review. DO NOT RE-INSTALL Deemo. 1. Put your device in Airplane mode and power down the device for 15 MINUTES. This should help clear memory caching on your device. 2. Turn your device back on. Re-installing doesn't make the app any better than it was previously. Tested this multiple times and mostly crashed rather function smoothly or properly. In the case this method DOES NOT WORK, I insist RayArk to do an update regarding of this problem for these certain users.

This is beautiful. I’ve never written a review for games before, but this game is too good not to. Everything about it is beautiful. The music is wonderful, the art is amazing, the gameplay’s fun and not too difficult, and the story is captivating. It’s simple, but that’s what makes it beautiful. I also love how mysterious it is. No one explains anything. There’s no deep lore. (well I’m still playing the game so I wouldn’t know if there is any) but I love that. Things just happen and you learn to accept it. Maybe I’m going too deep with this. Anyways, it’s a wonderful game.

Game keeps lagging. I reinstalled Deemo after changing my phone and after a couple days of playing, it lags and does not stop.

Fun and easy but really dislike how the way they tried to make it difficult. instead of making the patterns hard to hit they made the notes and judgment line really thin

Love it. I have had the game for over two years now and love this game to pieces, I was saddened when it kept crashing and I had to reset everything but that’s all fixed now so I have absolutely no complaints. For people who are into beat games, this should be the first go to.

Fun. Very fun game! I was able to fc lvl 8 song and below but the difficulty really show at lvl 9 and upward!

Simply Amazing. Not only does Deemo have amazing music you won't get tired of playing through, but also features one of the most emotional stories I have ever seen on a mobile game. Just when I thought the game was done with updates I come back to find 3.0 released with more stories and more content to enjoy. Even with a crash I stuck through and it was patched soon after; such great attention to keep the game going great. Definitely one to spend your money on!!

Splendid!. I was immediately captivated by the soothing nature of the games and the characters, and it only got better from there. As someone who doesn't play rhythm games often, I thought that it wasn't going to be the game for me, but the mechanics are easy to grasp and you can still advance in the game if you get stuck a bit. The character interactions, the orbs, the bit of hide and seek for songs, and art is amazing! Money well spent ^^

My favorite game. God.. where do I begin? Deemo has helped me through so much. The music is amazing, and I would give anything to have all the music. Deemo is literally thee best music game of all time. If you don’t think this game could be great, GIVE IT A TRY!! Trust me, you will fall in love with the art and music style within an hour or so. There’s alittle bit of everything in this game: pop, electronic, futuristic, hip-hop, classic, you name it.. deemo has it! Deemo, with the music they produce, has helped me through depression.. I would Always come home from school, jump on my phone/tablet, and play until it was time to go to bed. I can’t thank deemo and the developers enough.. and I was a-little disappointed that you’re unable to make a save file and transport that across devices, but oh well.. Deemo is worth it. It’s amazing, and you should definitely give it a go! 😁

Sound synchronization issues. Like others have said before me, the piano file is out of sync with the background track. It is most easily noticed on songs with a lot of piano notes in quick succession. In addition to the synchronization issue, the piano sound is much too loud in comparison to the song. The only thing keeping this game from being perfect is just a bug fix update away. Edit: All of this was fixed with 3.0 allowing you to adjust track volume and note delay.

Amazing. This is one of the only games i'll write a review for since it's that good. The variety of songs stick to you, especially the ones that have a lot of significance to the plot (Sakura iro no yume and Fluquor). The artwork of the songs and the background is absolutely breathtaking, and I would 10/10 buy all the songs just to look at them. The gameplay is fun and either relaxing or nerve-wracking (get that full combo!!). The plot made me cry and overall this game is just lovely.

I never play mobile games. Saw a YouTuber talking about this game in a video about rhythm games. It looked too good for me not to be curious. I’ve played about 5 songs and I can say it’s completely worth the investment if you’re a fan of rhythm games at all. I usually will NEVER play mobile games I always feel they’re a waste of money. Deemo is a big exception. Huge stand out in a sea of garbage. Amazing game if you’re reading this stop and buy it now.

Going GREAT so far!. I have a hard time finding finger piano/ tap-tap games I actually click with but I love this game. The songs are beautiful, as are the graphics, and I really like what I've seen of the story. I'm having trouble progressing, even though my scores are relatively high, and some of the songs don't sync very well to a piano which leaves you guessing when it comes to rhythm. But aside from that I'm having fun and it makes me very happy!

But game ever. I’ve had this game since I was 12 I’m 18 now and I had this when it was FREE TO DOWNLOAD so I’m like old but like this game may have in app purchases but they are totally worth it like the songs are incredible like they put so much work into this game they I don’t even mind paying for it and I just finished the story at first I was too young to understand the plot because I would just skip to play but now that I’m older this game had me in tears because the story is so heart warming I recommend anyone to by this game I mean it’s 6.99 but think about the adventure you will be on while playing it

Wonderful and Amazing. I love this game, not only the story animation, but also the music and amazing art style! Oh! I even love how the music is composed along with all the other books and also small little details to find some of the songs, I even love the rooms and details of the art. What I didn’t like is that some of the books you have to purchases but I understand that they have to, but I also want to see the outside city that Deemo lives but can’t interact with the city that is outside. I love the game when it also started and now with the new updates it’s amazing! Keep up the good work!

PLAY IT. Been playing this game for more than five years, and it’s the only game left on my phone. Not a game person but this is more than just a game. It cools you down and heals you. Even you are bad at the game you would enjoy it because of the incredible music, you could always just listen to it but you’d fail, so you better hit the notes and enjoy the music simultaneously, best satisfaction! Visuals really support the music too, respect for the game designers.

Not A Game to Skip. Deemo is a charming little rhythm game about a girl trying to find her way home. While a few aspects of the story are somewhat cryptic and ambiguous, understanding it as a whole is simple thanks to well-placed cutscenes. The art and music are wonderful and relaxing, and clearly there was a lot of effort put into them. My only wish is that as much effort had been put into the translation, which is obviously lacking (To name one example, “In the dream, along with Deemo we admired the cherry blossoms”). If you like cute, bittersweet games, then this one is worth a try.

Creator. This game is amazing I couldn’t find no other game that has the most beautiful music and the most amazing story ever I’ve played this game ever since the release of it and never stopped playing it, I want more to the story line add something people never expected or have a story drift into another world with more beautiful songs. The music has gave me a ride of emotions that I can never explain, this game is a true blessing ❤️

Favorite Game. Honestly, I've had this game for about three years or so now and watching the story slowly progress and finally have a complete ending is amazing. Even now Deemo is still adding music and it always brings me back to wanting more. I adore this game and how simple it is, and the music is always amazing. I love how it is not always the same artist that creates the music, but a different variety that really makes the music enjoyable because each song has a different personality. Great game and love seeing the new mechanics that have been implemented into the game. It is always a pleasure to play this. ^-^

I cannot recommend this enough. If you are a fan of rhythm games with great music and easy to learn mechanics, this game will be right up your alley. I’ve played this game for 5 years now, and you get a lot, even without the dlc song packs. The game has a great story interestingly having the most punching moments in heartfelt and dramatic music. I essentially grew up with this game and never gets old when I pick it up. Just get it, it’s worth it.

Beautiful. The game... I was stunned by it. The story is amazing and the music is amazing and all together it is so amazing it's just tear jerkingly beautiful. The end had me crying my eyes out (I'm someone who cries over anything slightly sad XD ) but it was just really something amazing. I wish there were more games out there like this, with such compelling back stories and beautiful music! AND THE ART, WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AS WELL it fit so well with the game choice I loved this game and I recommend it to all! The pay is well worth it!

Outstanding one of a kind. I was never a fan of any iPhone games and would never spend money on apps in all my life of owning an iPhone. But after seeing many game plays of Deemo it peaked my interest and I don't regret a single dollar I spent on this game it's truly amazing from storyline to music. Haha first app I bought and best app I have yet! Buy this game! Take it from a guy who doesn't really play iPhone games! :P

You will cry in your bedroom corner because it’s so sweet.. You need to get it because you will be attached it’s like one of those games instead of playing clash of clans you will play this one for the rest of your life I would really recommend it because of how detailed it is but.. When I first started playing I was hoping to play it on my actual computer so I was pretty bummed also there’s a rapper in one of the songs but other than that you will cure all depression if you played it to the whole world.

Thank you Deemo.... This game has helped a lot with anxiety and really helps me with stress. Without a doubt I could pick up this app and tatter my finger tips to the music and drift away and forget about my troubles. The story line and the art are beautiful. Masterpiece. I think I’ve been playing this game since it’s release. In 2021, it still holds up. If anything, I’ve gotten rusty and can’t play like I used to. Hope that helps you envision the depth of detail etched into every digital fiber of this game. If you’re just hoping to improve you rhythm and hand eye coordination, this is for you. If you’re in it for the sweet orchestration and piano, this is for you. The art, the collaborations, the story, all here. High quality game worth way more than where its priced at.

Darn you guys.. I saw this and the first thing I thought was "Oh another rhythm game." I decided to try it anyway. There were gorgeous original piano compositions and cute polished graphics. The music was not mediocre, it was beautiful. Even better, I'm not that far into the game and there is already a big variety of songs. It keeps just getting better with every update! The gameplay is well done with a range of difficulty levels to aspire to. It was worth downloading and I bought actual DLC. I have never bought DLC before. You fiends. (Sunset is my favorite song.)

Love it. Gotta say, I’ve been playing this game for 5 years now. I’m not the greatest player but the story and music is just beautiful. I honestly can not describe the amount of joy I feel when I open the app. Although it resets with every new phone, I gladly play to the end over and over and over again. Everything about this game is just wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Love it. Well, 5 years later, I was in elementary school, and now I'm a sophomore, and I'm still playing this game. I got bored after a few years, but after picking this game up again, I love playing it. While I'm not crazy, "I play this everyday , hour, minute(not that this is wrong but if you do you might want to spend your time doing something else)" but I play it whenever I need to pass time on my phone. Best Rhythm Game I’ve Ever played!. This game is worth a try! Especially those who enjoy music of any genre. Personally, I fell like I’m playing the piano (even though I have no idea how)! Think, music+time killer+on the go! It’s truly a great game that offers great music, great gameplay, zero bugs, and even a beautiful story! On a side note, the shattered memories DLC is worth it. It adds many more songs, and new difficulties. Plus if you enjoyed the story, you get a little more!

Unbelievably exhilarating. Such an amazing game so far!!! Every song is incredibly terrific. Although... The song "Undo" (a song from the game) is quite annoying to listen to. I had a bug where all of my data just got deleted from the game one day and I had to start all over like I'd never progressed, please don't let that happen again :( I want to unlock all of the songs. I tried contacting support about it and never got a response, BUT THE GAME IS GREAT SO PLEASE GET IT IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING IT. 4 out of 5 stars for the bug otherwise 5

This game is the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my entire life. This game makes me cry and sob like a little baby. I would sell my soul to be within the Deemo universe. There is nothing better than this game, this is the best game on the entire store, or at least, this is the best rhythm game. This is the only rhythm game, or one of the only rhythm games that I’ve seen that has an actual story, a beautiful one at that, and just amazing characters. I love Deemo. Astonishing!. Deemo is one of a kind, by far! It’s beautiful art work and story makes it unique and touching. The play is polished and captivating. Some of the songs are very fun and the options lets you scale up or down to suit your needs and play style, especially for a rhythm game. I’d rate Deemo 10 stars if I could. I had a bit of trouble downloading it for space. It says 2.2 gigs but it ended up taking up more than that. So that could be my device but just incase it’s not, look out for that. Other than that, 5/5! Great game, keep it up!

Absolutely stunning. I have not been playing for long, but the music, the graphics, the story, everything about it is beautiful. I could play this game for hours and might even listen to the music outside of the app. Some things being blocked by a paywall bothered me at first, but then I remembered that it was very cheap to begin with. So a full 5 stars for this ❤️

Needs Iphone X support. I love this rythm game because its so nice and heart tingling it really opened me up to all other rythym games like Osu, Voez and such, i played it on all my other devices but on my phone X which i am currently using, it looks small and like its on an iphone 6 which it should be widescreen for a better experience. I almost switched to an iphone 8 plus just to enjoy the game again but il wait for the updated iphone x version of the game so i can fully enjoy the game as i have for years. Thank you Rayark!

Love This Game!!. This game is an absolute classic. It was a large part of my childhood, and it’s 100% worth the 5 dollars now it takes to play this game. It has a TON of in-game content, and even more paid content, which you should buy because it supports these developers so they can keep making more games like this, such as Deemo 2! Excellent game, in my eyes it has infinite replay value, especially with the addition of the hourglass. Though they updated it, I still have a preference for the old UI, just because it’s nostalgic. Rayark continues to exceed my expectations. 10/10!

Its good but i have a few problems with it. The game looked like it had lots of potential, because I love osu!Mania but this game just isn’t for me. First off, all of the songs are just piano type music, which i personally think is a bit boring. But my main problem is the fact that the level design isn’t very fun. Lots of random uneven spamming in the harder levels and that gets annoying real fast. Most levels just feel like they don’t even sync to the music. My last problem is how slow the menu screen is.

A music title that touches the soul. The game is more than outstanding imo. Just the harmony of both the song and its artwork tells a story of its own, not to mention that the storyline of the game which will surely send players to the feels train. Overall the game, excluding any other additional iap, is worth every penny. Ever since the last patch a lot of free content has been added to the game, which are great contents btw. I would definitely recommend this to people who are looking for an awesome rhythm game with a touching storyline. Kudos.

Best Game Ever. I’ve been playing this game for a few years and have completed the full game several times. When they added the new stuff I was so excited because there’s so many more song packs and rooms to explore as the tree grows, the ending also makes me cry every time without fail. I love this game it’s so fun and relaxing, great song selection and is just fantastic. When I first downloaded the game in 2015 (before all of the updates) I used it to help with my anxiety and it was such a great idea. 1000% recommend this game if you’re looking for an amazing piano game, cannot stress that enough.

A truly beautiful masterpiece. This game is an absolute work of art. The creators have obviously spent a huge amount of time perfecting every aspect of this game, and it is well worth it. The storyline draws players in, the art is extraordinary, and the music is absolutely beautiful. The game is easy to navigate, and even months after finishing the original storyline I play it constantly. I really do recommend this game to everyone, I wouldn't be the same without this wonderful app!

Hands down the best rhythm game, even in its age. Deemo was the first rhythm game I ever installed. That was both a blessing and a curse, as it imparted in me a love of rhythm games I still haven’t been able to satisfy. Yet, Deemo is so good in all the years I have searched for a better alternative I have found none. This is the one game I keep going back to, for nostalgia vibes, when I want a challenge, when I want to relax. It’s perfect, minimalistic, charming, and wonderful. This game made me cry, but in the best way possible.

Ridiculously Beautiful and well made!. For anyone that loves music and enjoy the special details composers write, this game is for you for sure. This is so much more than a game. There is some amazing music displayed throughout the collections. Learning about different artists is another great perk, along with the Deemo story included. I’ve easily spent over 1,000 hours playing and practicing songs throughout the years. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal. I got this game years and years back when it was the Free App of the Week on the App Store, at least five to six years ago. Since then, it has been the first app downloaded on each of my new phones, and the game I find myself turning back to again and again- and the only game on the app store I have paid for DLC content on. The storyline is deep and meaningful, the controls feel satisfying to master, and the art style is gorgeous. Download and you will not regret it.

This game has taken over me life. And I love to be perfectly honest. The game play is simple but not dull, while the music and art are truly amazing. While I did end up having to delete and restart the game for the latest update...I had reached the furthest I could go so it wasn't a massive loss to me. The extra song packs I'd purchased remain as mine after this so that was a relief. This is a game worth getting and I highly recommend it!

The cool aspects of the story line and just the overall music choice is astounding in which you are immersed into a world of endless gratification. It helps calm down nerves, it helps musicians in a way that they can always be connected to music, it provides a sense of belonging to people who are suffering. Overall 10/10 best game ever. Amazing Game. I played the game when I was in high school when the game wasn’t even finished and just recently started playing it again. It brought back all the memories. I still remember the first time I saw the ending. I cry every time I watch it. The songs are amazing. I have both of the albums on my iTunes. From a 15 yo girl and now I’m 25, the game is still gold. Love every bit of it.

This game man. This game is amazing absolutely astonishing I played this one my tablet when this game first came out. But I ended up losing that tablet and I was not able to finish this game and now like 5 years later I can say that this was one of my favorite games ever. The story was amazing the gameplay was even better then I remember and that ending (ohhhhhh) it was amazing I’m so glad that I replayed this and I recommend this game to everyone who like rhythm games and a good story.

A simple game with a beautiful story. I've played a lot of rhythm games but no came close to make me addicted as this one the art work of this game is absolutely phenomenal the music can easily make you become one with the came and you'll soon find your self connected with the story and you'll start developing these feelings for the characters Which is something I never experienced in a rhythm game which makes it by far my favourite rhythm game of all time and I think you for making such an amazing game

Use of AI art has turned my love to hatred. Loved “Deemo” to death, hadn’t found the time to get into the sequel. But hearing that the company fired humans to replace their hard work on the game’s beautiful art with “AI” art has soured my memories of the first game and destroyed my interest in the second. When all artists are out of work, who will the “AI” steal from to produce its inferior junk art, have you considered that? Hire back your human artists and PAY THEM PROPERLY. —— (VERY) old previous review: I love this game and even though I've had it for months and have gotten full combos on most easy/normal tracks, I keep going back to favorite songs again and again - not trying to improve my score, just for the fun of playing and listening to them. But I want to find out what happens next, so please add more to the story! :)

One small complaint. Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE this game and I can't decide if I like this of Cytus 2 the most. I just bought and finished my first playthrough of Forgotten Hourglass and I have one small, petty complaint. The last song from the classical book, Bumblebee, is definitely not a level 9 song. For a hard chart I expected it to have a Run Lads Run treatment instead of a near continuous slide through out the song.

Marvelous. It’s been a LONG while since I have played this game. I never knew I would look through my old downloads/purchases, where in the middle I’d find this. I literally played this game all night just to find out the end (no spoiler) and just remembered why I loved it so much. Best combination ever. Tap game and a lovely story that comes with it. I hope theee is a part 2, or sequels to this. Forever a 5/5 in my eyes and heart.

This game has been with me forever. I started playing this game years ago back in high school and I loved it so much. It was the first app I spent money on and I did my best at every song. Seeing it again brings back a lot of memories for me as well as a lot of bitter sweet feelings about my past, especially seeing that there will be a movie coming out with a trailer that featured my favorite songs in the game! Love you guys for making this and I hope you can keep it alive as long as possible.

AMAZING!!!!!!!. I love this game. A few years ago I found this game but it was still being developed. I forgot about it until about a month or two ago. It was well worth the wait. This game is so fun to play. The songs are beautiful and the story behind the game is very well planned and written. There are a lot of free songs that you unlock as you progress with the story as well as albums you can buy. Overall this is a fantastic game that you won’t get tired of and that’s coming from someone with the attention span the size of a dime.

Best rhythm game out there, hands down.. Deemo is the best, even after 4+ years of playing it! Beautiful original songs ranging from classical piano to hybrid piano/techno and dub step. Vast song packs to explore, purchase price is worth the value you get with three skill levels for each song that all offer a different experience. Original artwork accompanies every song, and adds a ton of value to the emotion that you feel whilst experiencing it. I encourage you to study the artwork before, and after playing each song. You'll love it!

Best Game on the App Store. Words cannot describe how much I love this game. The story, the gameplay, the music! All of it is so wonderful and charming! The music can be fast or relaxing; It can both get your heart pumping or calm you down! The notes can be fast or slow, whatever you want! Whether you want it difficult or easy, there's something for everyone! For those playing the game for the first time: Do not look at the DLC until you have finished the game. There is a point where you see the credits but that is not the end; there is still so much more! The fist time you see the credits marks the end of 1.0; the game is 3.0 now with tons of extra DLC! That is not to say you have to pay more to get the full game. No, even without paying extra it has tons of songs! It's really worth way more than 1.99! This game costs less than a cup of coffee! If you're a minor you can just ask for a 5$ gift card! For hours and hours of gameplay, it feels almost wrong to pay so little!

Old favorite. I’ve been playing Deemo for a long time and I’ve recently re-downloaded it to play again and I was delighted to find the forgotten hourglass dlc. It added some really nice songs and new sheets, but I don’t think the plot delivery was strong at all. Maybe if we had some new cutscenes it’d be much better, rather than relying on new positions. The dialogue was acceptable but it took a long time to get( which is understandable, we don’t want to use up the dlc too quickly ), but other than those complaints Deemo is still an old favorite!
