Honestly mostly fun to play. Got this game just to pass the time mostly and would likely delete a bit later. Turned out it’s a good bit gunner then I thought. The only reason so far for why this isn’t a 5 star is the fact the frog evo is just broken. Doesn’t matter if it’s a little frog or a big one, the moment that poison is on the ground it kills everything from the starting fella and up to gargantuan sized ones. It’s getting to the point about 1/3 or even half the people I play against use only the frog. Also doesn’t help there is a literal option to pay a special that gives the frog evo to you.

New Update Tip. I really enjoy this game… but the latest update confused me. At first, it seemed there is no way to advance. You beat the same level over and over again and it yet stay stuck in the same place on the map. Then I realized that there is a hexagon around each map level. You need to beat the level the number of times highlighted in order to advance. It might help noobies if the developer explains this at the open. Overall, great game. 5 stars.

Great!! If you’re willing to pay. This is a great game! It is easy to play, it is engaging, and you are able to progress… Up to a point. My three star rating is as a free player. If I was willing to spend five dollars or more to buy the necessary gold I’m sure it would be even better. The reality is that you will have all of your cubes maxed quickly and gold comes only 10 per game. You’ll need thousands to level up your cube... they are a business, and they are trying to make money. They have found a wonderful game and a wonderful way to do that.

Probably not worth your time until they fix some things. Great game design, rewards player decently when they grind, however it is next to impossible to keep a streak for longer than 15, you are almost guaranteed to get a round where you die immediately due to broken evo placement. It is also quite difficult to get a decent 5 star evo. Going more into detail, the gameplay is fun and it is very nice when you get your first wins, chests are rewarding when you play for awhile, however the leaderboard is Next to impossible to win even if you play the game every day. You are almost garunteed to get into a game where you die immediately because they either sprout and kill you before you can move, or blow you away and ruin your large streak. Plz fix

Entertaining. This game is entertaining, but it has its caveats. There will be times when you will get matched with a high level bot with a multiple star evo. This means you either get lucky or you lose your streak. I rather see more skill focused than luck, but it’s the same concept as King of Thieves. Plus since you are only playing bots, your skill would be better most of the time. Also, there seems to be a form of “currency” that isn’t used…Magic gems. What’s the purpose of this and why can’t we buy evos with more than just regular gems or real world money? Make the game less pay to pay and you'll garner more players.

Fun great game. It’s real fun, and I actually quite enjoy the game. Although I do have some suggestions. -playing with REAL players, I think if you would make us play with real players, that would be so much better and much harder. -offline play: if you go offline/not connected to the internet, you go into games with bots, so you can play in the car and stuff -new abilities: there is a small amount of spells we can use, and I think if we had certain spells for the evos, it would be great. An example is the poison ego can make a poison cloud, or the ice evo can make something like an ice wall. -more missions: I don’t like playing and when I finish the mission, there is really nothing else to do. Maybe if you get evo pass tickets when you win matches that would be cool, or just have easy missions every hour and harder ones every day. -more gameplay: I really like the little flying grapes, sunflowers, since they add a lot of environmental strategy, but if you were to add more, like having the ice map more slippery that would be cool. Also if could add more game modes, like a 1v1 mode, or a big battle Royale that would be cool too

Really enjoy the game but…. There are a couple of exploits/glitches in the game that people use in order to win. Case and point: I’m currently in a game right now that’s been going on for 10+ minutes with someone using the hover evo. There is no ceiling in the game so the hover evos can fly out of bounds basically and is not visible or reachable. As the hover falls down, people can duplicate and it shoots back up out of bounds (currently on one of the game modes where the water rises faster, apparently there isn’t a timer on these ones) I actually stopped playing this game for months because of another glitch with the spike evo getting stuck out of bounds, similar situation as the hover evo. You couldn’t reach (or even see in most cases) where the spike evo got stuck. In the last couple of days that I’ve been back playing, saw a spike evo get stuck inside one of the map generated platforms. Couldn’t reach it, they won just because it was stuck high enough and no one could get it. It’s really irritating to try and enjoy a casual game and having people exploit glitches that the developers have done nothing to fix.

It’s simply broken. I have several gripes that I wish to address, and they are as follows: ”Sudden Death” Power Levels Box Drops Air Physics Sudden Death Is by all means a terrible option due to the fact it can not be disabled. Since all foes are going to be hover or virus (let’s be real they are mostly virus) you need to either overwhelm them with size which can be done... But let’s be real that is hard sometimes... You need time to burrow under them to eject them from the map. 3 min is simply not enough for that. Power levels are stupid. Why is HOVER more powerful than Feral? The way attack and defense is...is so...boring Box Drops Stop being meaningful once you have everything EXCEPT Virus and Hover. Best part is that it does not matter how rare the box is, you must BUY hover and virus Air Physics....always blow left why? When you are playing feral and are trapped on a top left shelf slide adaption does....nothing. And if you try to jump, you then get blown off the edge Oh, and as of this moment the game is broken because it tells me to update it, but there IS no way to update it... But, you sure forced sudden death down our throats...so

pay to play and unbalanced. i find it very hard to get chests to get other evos that are more useful than the original which i can’t use to progress due to a limit on the trophies which i find stupid as i have to resort to using garbage against things like frogs which are hard to counter unless i can grow my evos big enough and then that disgusting meteor shower that wipes everything in its path which makes no sense as to why you can use it 3 times with 10+ meteors hitting you on a map with a bad spawn and since frogs are very good at holding caves it’s impossible to do anything to win and that’s all i see are frogs with meteors and i find it absolutely ridiculous that i’d have to pay just to have a better chance it’s a fun concept and game at first until the game decides it wants you to pay money before continuing would give a higher rating but the energy limits and the almost guaranteed win of a frog with meteor upgraded makes me give up every time cause i get to 200 evos and then i’m suddenly at 50 while they still have well over 150+ with their poison which takes years to go away and almost instantly kills evos not fair 0/10 don’t recommend this game until they do something with it

Best game to past the time. Wether you want to pay to win or not, this game provides the needs necessary. Once you pass a certain threshold the level of challenges becomes a little on the low side if they had say an arena with no time limit and no win count just go till there was one standing that might make a bit more of a challenge. I love this game, and on any device I own I guarantee that it is on them.

Was fun until I realized it wasn’t actually multiplayer and I hit. So this is a pretty fun game, but you’re not playing against other players. They’re bots, and there’s a couple of easy ways to see: you can’t pick a name big other players have “custom” names. The AI doesn’t handle certain kinds of evos very well like the balloon evo. This could be really fun with real multiplayer. Also, as you gain rank, you will face the higher rarity evos. I have hit a point in overall rank where now I *only* face Virus evos. It’s been 3 days of only facing level 9 virus evos, no matter the rank or type of individual evo I choose. If this could be fixed so that there would be more variety, that would go a long ways to helping the game stay fun for players.

Fun for awhile…. Don’t get me wrong, the idea behind the game has potential! However I am disenchanted with it now. First let me say that I did enjoy playing this game, I have played many hours, won several championships, collected all the Evos. But after all that I feel like I’ve gotten nowhere… and here’s why. The illusion of competition. This is a single player game, you do not play against other humans. You might be ranked against others but you will NEVER play against another real human. The illusion of progress. The new map with islands and all looked cool, but nothing changes. You’re playing against the same AI on the same maps. The different game modes introduced a little variation but ultimately fell right back into repetitive gameplay. The grind is real. In order to progress your Evos to high levels takes a LOT of in game resources! The slow income rate of these resources makes it very tempting to just spend that $5… at the end of the day the devs want to make money, I get that, I just don’t feel the ratio is right.

One of the most delightful games on the App Store. First of all, I saw someone say this game is pay to play, which is what prompted me to post my own review. It really bothered me because that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, it’s just a straight up lie. Either that or they are a sore loser. Maybe they don’t have a mind for strategy or don’t understand how the game works, but that’s just absolutely unequivocally wrong. The season pass, if you choose to get it, is very reasonable and not a subscription, but you can easily master the game without it. Especially if you specialize with one particular Evo (Camo is best, esp. with the thing that makes you eat other EVOs faster IMO). The gameplay itself is so fun and addictive. Its kind of like the Worms series in the sense that it’s sort of a sandbox competitive strategy game against the computer. It’s really one of the most unique games on the App Store and keeps you coming back for more. I love the new update and how it gives you’re the islands to navigate. It gives you a visual goal and a sense of progress that was missing previously. I really recommend you do yourself a favor and download this game right now! You won’ regret it. Plus as a bonus- LOVE the menu music.

New bugs. The Sudden Death new feature is terrible. The one deep joy in this game was those long battles from behind which took five, ten minutes to finally succeed. Now those are gone in three. Also, there is a bug where as the water rises you can have Evo to the top of the screen, can’t see any opponents Evo, but you still somehow lose. Either there are platforms you can’t see or get to, which is lame, or there is a bug, which is lame. Also. This is ostensibly a game of strategy which one is forced to play with zero information on the rules and mechanics. Why do some Evo get to start four times the size of others? Does anything stop the Feral once they become full size and multiply? Under what circumstances would each ability of a given Evo be useful (some seem utterly pointless)? Without this information the game is basically random chance. Even simply information such as “you goal is to grow to 300 units or to eat all of both opponents, be aware in some cases eating your opponent will be impossible so focus on rapid growth against those” would go a long way to making the early rounds a lot less frustrating. Near as it seems, this game is designed (like so many) to annoy you into paying for things so you can win. Sorry, not nearly engaging enough for that to happen.

If not for one thing it’d be a 5 star game. The ads that you click on sometimes kick you from the game window as soon as you complete the add. This makes the rewards for watching ads completely unobtainable. The screen makes you watch 3 adds and then when you click close on the third ad the app crashes. I’ve stopped watching the ads as they are optional but that’s lost revenue for them which is unfortunate as the game itself is outstanding

Great game. All A.I.. Honestly I love the game and have been playing it every chance I get, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and fast strategy game. Be warned though, that every “player” is just an A.I., as in you never actually play real people throughout. This doesn’t bother me at all but seems to be a selling point for others. I imagine Zepto will release a multiplayer update eventually (and pray they do), but they also are the makers of some of the most popular mobile games available which they need to look out for first. Here’s to hoping for multiplayer, but all around it’s a great game to pass the time with great potential.

somewhat misleading. The game has entertaining visuals and mechanics, but you’re just playing against bots so “better than 50% of players!” really means nothing. It’s very easy to get into a situation where playing gains you no benefit due to the upgrade to gain trophies mechanic, and there’s a five game limit on “energy” that also disincentivizes playing the game. it’s difficult to get new or upgraded evos since you only get a couple of chests per day, and again, your rivals are simulated so you can easily win the majority of games once you figure out the bot patterns. Oh, and I have 6 artifacts unlocked and upgraded, but none of my evos can equip anything but the base lightning artifact so there’s that

Pay to win. Started off good but after about a week of playing they have already offered three 4 star evo’s for 10$ when before you had to get them from a chest. It was a better system to randomly give them out now you can pay for them when they become available. And when they are available they flood the server woth that special evo making any beginner evo players suffer. Im in silver with the bubble and will face nothing but the evo that is being offered in the store and it brings my rank down when i lose. Definitely a pay to win, if this continues i will end up deleting the game. I thought before i had a chance not buying into it but im starting to think i dont now ive opened about 20 chests with no new evos. Its getting old fast.

Good game but…. I love this game, the complete lack of forced ads makes it playable and enjoyable. The different styles of winning is also a plus. The only thing I would say is bad about this game is some balancing in some evos, like frog that kills your evos if you step in their puddle they make on the ground. This may not sound bad but my evos can be 3x their size and it doesn’t matter they die all the same so it can get really annoying especially after 5 matches in a row. Other than that the game is very nice and makes you feel strategic about how you play so I would give it a try.

Good potential. I really like the game, there's no ads so you should try it for yourself! payments are restricted to season passes, evos and a special currency used to buy chests, otherwise nothing is locked off for a free player. I like that there's 2 different ways to win for variety, so you can plan a strategy of being aggressive, defensive, elusive, and there's many ways that can take form. I started playing about four days ago and since then I've noticed many bugs though, half the time the app opens up on a small portion of the screen (I have iphone 6s) and I have to close and restart and hope it doesn't do that again because it's literally unplayable. Another thing is with players who immediately use magnet, I have been pulled through the level terrain once (it was a steep hill) and so I basically died before I got to do anything, this also happens without me being pulled through terrain, evos with magnet can immediately throw you off the stage's edge before you get a chance to do anything on certain stages. There's probably some sort of balance issue, most people I see play as feral evo because of the magnet and seeing two ferals with me before the match starts is beginning to make me feel bad, it's not fun when you have no control.

I love it buuut.... I love the game I play it everyday but. Lately I’ve seen a lot of the spikes getting into the ground where I can’t eliminate them I have to win by 300 or let the flood take them out. Also the hover who keep springing upward and snagging somewhere or are just so over powered and high that I can’t get them. And the virus is way overpowering as well, I have a level 9 virus and me using it in combo with the artifact that adds more power I can wipe out a game in 30 secs or less. Coming to the top shouldn’t be so overpowered. And bring on the new stuff already!!!!

This game is an unbalanced money grab!. I love the gameplay of this game but I started noticing how unbalanced it is. It seems like the developers have just given up on it. Due to the unbalanced nature of it, you can pretty much beat the entire game with the second or third evo you get. There are at least 4 different types of coin you must collect to advance different sections of the game. The constant “give me money” splash screens are super annoying and if you don’t pay, don’t expect to be able to upgrade that evo any time soon. This could be an angry bird level game if a little more time was put into the mechanics of the evos. I played today and got the same level back to back to back 5 times before something new popped up on my screen. We know this game is generating income, hire some people and make it better.

Disrespectful tactics to make you pay, but interesting game.. I came here from King of Thieves, and was surprised to see the progress the game had made. The game is fun, and it’s very different from any other game, so it’s not a cheap knockoff. I do wish the game would put some effort into making it actually online, instead of making it seem like you’re playing with other people with obviously AI names that aren’t fooling anyone. Lastly, my biggest annoyance, the games cheap way to make you pay. The game just introduced the “Frog” Evo, which costs $20 whole dollars, (with some other recourses). Ever since, every game I load up has had this OP Evo in it. Every single one. There are many Evos in this game, but FOR WHATEVER REASON, the game puts you up against the Frog. I am also fairly low ranked, so it is very obvious that this game wants you to buy this pay to win Evo out of frustration. Besides from that, the game is really fun, which is why I am at 4 stars.

Do not spend money. This is the third time I’ve downloaded this game. It stopped loading and disappeared from the App Store several weeks ago. It’s a shame there’s no longer a record of the previous reviews I recall reading. Also, “restore purchase” is a useless feature. My prior purchases (before the app disappeared) did not “restore” (purchases nor progress) when I downloaded to my iPad (second dowload). Fine. Other apps are like that so I didn’t care much. Now? Nope. Any cent I spent before is gone (OG device that I made the purchases from). You DEFINITELY don’t need to spend money to have fun. I just wanted the variety of evos faster. I obviously will not give another dime to this company since I can’t trust them to even maintain the app let alone honor my purchases. Play with caution since you might wake up one day to find the app gone again along with all that progress (and any money spent) This game is well made and A LOT of fun (to me anyway), but the folks behind the scenes need to get their stuff together.

It was fun for a while. I enjoyed the first 20-30 games but then I had to constantly go against level 9 viruses. The whole water thing after 3 minutes completely messed up the gameplay because of all the invisible platforms that are super high in the sky. I’m constantly losing to a virus evo either because of the attract spell that pulls me from across the map or the fact that they use an explosion and can kill me with numbers. I can have a super big evo and it takes three of the smallest evo’s to take me down a size but then they have a evo that is a singular size higher than my average and I just lost most of my evo’s. Also, why is the reward for the tournament only a thousand something coins? For such a big event you could have a bigger reward.

Good despite bugs and imbalance. I enjoy the game, but feel like it’s not quite right. I’ve stopped paying attention to the fact that it will rank me as 3rd despite being the clear 2nd in a match. It will tell you that you rank above 75% of players, but I’m not sure how to play the better players. I am currently on a 37 game win streak which is cool but a little anti climactic. I wish there were better chests with the championship wins. It may take me another month to hit the next rank on Hover, but it doesn’t seem to matter since I beat most of my opponents. That said, I LOVE that it’s a quick round every time. I’m afraid I’m going to get bored quickly. Update 5.8.21 I’m hating this update - I am exhausted with buttons not working when they’re supposed to and moving around the screen instead of using actions. I’ve played long enough to know something has changed and I’m not just being lazy with my tapping. Please fix ASAP.

Pretty close to perfect 👌🏻. So this game is one of the little surprises I’ve ever come across one the App Store. I’ve been playing it very consistently for a while now and haven’t gotten tired of it, I keep finding new levels and evos to play, enjoy and level up. The music and sound effects are perfect in their simplicity and so satisfying to hear while your evos pop and multiply. All that being said I do think it has some balance issues, mostly in the form of two very powerful artifacts. Flood and meteor shower should be looked at and considered in terms of nerfing or changes. I honestly think every other artifact is reasonable and fun but these two abilities can be simply apocalyptic in terms of power. Especially

Unbalanced, good other than that. Let me give you a pro tip... buy the virus evo. The virus evo is too OP. It negates every other evo’s power. So now the game is everyone using the virus evo and it’s just a race to see who can get to 300. This game was a lot of fun when everyone used different evos and you had to strategize. Now it’s just different colored virus evos racing to 300 or waiting for the water to rise and see who has the higher ground. Needs a fix to get back to competitive. Update: there is a serious, game breaking glitch that allows you to throw your evos off the map. The rising death tide does not effect them. Another pro tip, throw your evos off the map to win. Basically if you are running virus and can get your evos off the map it’s an instant win. I wonder if this game is developed by Activisions reject team.

Love this game. I’ve spent a good week on the game already and I love the gameplay and the balloon guy has been my favorite evo. Unfortunately I told my friends about the game but there is no way of making clans or a leaderboard system. In order to make this a true RTS(in my opinion) there should be more social options such as playing against friends or climbing some form of leaderboard together. Great game with great mechanics but some features here and there would make the game go from great to fantastic.

Awesome Game. Greedy Like Usual. Played this game for a couple of weeks. It’s incredibly fun and well thought out. The huge downside is that it is incredibly hard to level up past a certain point without unlocking new cube monsters. They ask for $5 for a season pass which expires. I would pay $5 upfront to play the game with all the features and no level caps or more chances to level up monsters/get new ones. It’s a shame so many games could be unreal and reach top rankings for years to come but focus on pay to play limited transactions. More apps need to charge a one time fee like console games.

Fun Game. I have played this game nonstop for about a week. I came in first place in the weekends tournament and was really excited for my prize. It was absolute let down as it’s a chest you can’t even purchase and the rewards were lackluster. Most of the matches are pretty easy but the artifacts really cheat me out of easy wins. The meteor ability is unbalanced as well as some others. The game seems like a pay to win type game, the good artifacts and evos are luck based to get and unless you buy gems or the season pass your chance to get the overpowered items is slim. Overall a fun game but I’d like to see some improvements for players that don’t want to spend their money

Unbalanced & Some Other Problems. Firstly, the Games concept is decent that’s the only reason I didn’t give this a 1 Star. It’s gameplay has a great deal of problems though. Let’s talk about the Lack Of Balance. One of the 2 main Balance Problems are the Maps. Everyone starts off at different points, that would be okay in a FPS but not this. Some enemies can continue to grow inside a Cave and get to 300 while you accidentally Block it off and have no way of getting in. That or the Other Opponent (usually Center) is preventing you from getting to it. Plus some maps I either begin falling off of already or am in an indent and the enemy grows and immediately eats me. Next Problem regarding Balance is the Evos themselves. Original is more useful than quite a few “Higher up” Evos. And Turtle is ridiculously Over Powered. Can’t eat the Turtles, and they begin growing from the beginning. This mechanic also makes the task of “Win by eating all Evos” impossible that round. With Turtle & a Map the enemy can just cave in I might as well just Forfeit. Other Problems are: It is repetitive, I can’t remove the Red Circle on Missions (due to not buying the Premium or whatever), Gameplay is just lacking. Gameplay is lacking in a few things, firstly touching a circle to grow and expand to eat or outgrow opponents isn’t very fun. Then the fact each “Unique Evo” are all basically the same thing. Could be helped by adding other game modes at least.

Great game, could use some adjustments.. I got the game a few days ago and I’m already top like 70% I’m really enjoying it so far but I noticed a few things. Whenever I’m going against people their names are all capitalized, so I’m not entirely sure I’m going against real people, my name in the game is “Doc” but everyone I else I see has all capital names like “MICO” ( I used this name because he’s currently #2 in the event ) so I’m not entirely sure what that’s about. I would also absolutely love to see a stats table implemented. Like showing how many evos you’ve eaten, how many evos you’ve created, or games won/lost and win percentage just the basics. This game is obviously competitive hence the trophy and rank system but I definitely think it’ll have a huge boost to competitiveness with an actual stats board put in place. Other than those two things I love the game. Definitely recommend

This game has everything I hate in a game.... As I’m trying to learn the game, which isn’t fun when you’re going against others, it asks me if I’m enjoying the game after I immediately lose because I quit looking for a tutorial. When I say “No” because I haven’t played it for more than 10 freaking seconds, it opens my Discord. Dude, it’s not that I have a complaint, I just want to play it for more than a minute before I review or complain! To make matters worse, a $4.99 season pass pop-up comes up after I had quit the one “battle” and there’s absolutely NO way to close it except to buy it or force close the app. I’m not going to pay for a game I haven’t played for more than 10 seconds and I’m certainly NOT giving it another second of my time, nor any game made by these developers if this is their business model.

Constantly battling against max lvl virus. Great game! Been having fun playing it. The only downfall is always having to play against a max lvl virus. I just unlocked the virus myself and have next to no trophies with it...yet I’m going against a virus that has a low amount of trophies but is lvl 9/9. What are the odds of going against that? This doesn’t just happen once in a while, it’s multiple games in a row going against 2 virus opponents that are max lvl. Before I can use 6 of my energy I’m getting sucked towards the virus that is already 4 -5 sizes bigger than the starting size...instant loss consistently. Frustrating to say the least.

Pay to play. To be any good at this game you’ve got to pay. They’re constantly pushing you to buy things with pop ups. If you want to progress any further with the evos you end up from chest which are kind of mediocre, you’ve got to buy coins as you don’t get enough from the rewards. I’ve had some fun playing it at least, but to really play the game you’ve got to pay. They really limit how well you can do but pushing purchases as they limit the quests to so many you can complete daily unless you want to pay for the option of more quests with their pushy VIP. Short term, it’s kind of fun, long term you’ve got to pay. I’ve drastically limited my play from multiple times a day to once a day and now every couple of days while I’m waiting for my other timed games to do their thing. It’s honestly a drag not being able to progress evos at a reasonable rate without paying. Honestly, the things they do offer don’t even seem worth it for the price but that’s the only way to move up faster. They charge for season passes, like two weeks which gives you the option of two more daily quests, not much in the grand scheme of things. Sure it’s fun competing and eating the competition but the whole pay to play thing puts such a drug on a game with potential.

Was good, then became pay to win.. I really enjoyed this game when I first got it. Unlocked multiple characters, winning tournaments and getting streaks. It was a lot of fun and I would lose on occasion which made if challenging yet still fun. With the latest update came a new character called virus, which is really expensive and hard to unlock all 9 levels of the character. And for how fast so many people got their it’s obvious that they paid the outrageous about of money to unlock it. They grow twice as big per use and cost half as much. So they win super fast almost every time when fully unlocked. It’s frustrating and has made the game not fun. When they win before I can even do 1 move because their power ups are so cheap and powerful it makes the competition unfair. Was fun but I feel like it became a money grab quickly with all the upgrades.

I love this game!. I love this game very very much! I think the artifacts is a really good idea and I love them very very much. However I am not getting any new artifacts no matter how many chests I open. Also there is a little bug in the game where when I’m playing with certain Evos like when I’m going against the hover Evo and I’m playing as someone like the feral Evo! The hover Evo will be off the map flying around above me like there’s a platform up there. So when the sudden death starts I end up losing because the hover Evo is off screen above me! I really really like this game just fix the problems that I mentioned above and add new maps and Evos and this game is definitely deserving of five stars

Decent game. The game is incredible but I think you should be able to have more than five energy because energy is the only way to play matches beginners should also get to chose diffrerent evos that have and equal amount of power. they should also add more evos maybe like an evo where you can change its shape I think they can also make fire an evo cause they already made poison or a reaper evo that gets bigger when it eats other evos I also think that there should be a teleporting evo or an evo that could throw itself that is it for my review but it was mostly about the evos this game should have but this game is fun either way.

Thanks and no thanks for the update. I've been playing Evo Pop for a while. I've never payed anything, but have watched a few adds, and I'm down to upgrading the last two Evos. I'm grateful for the update, which fixed a lot of bugs and gave me a lot of gold, but I believe I'm only playing bots now. Was that their way of getting rid of the bot complaints? I lose every once in a while, but by getting blown off the map or eaten by an omniverous artifact, things a bot can do. I don't even get invites to the tournaments anymore. Did they get rid of them? I would love some real competition. Is a game server too expensive? And even though almost everything is upgraded, I still don't have all the artefacts. They need to increase the drop percentage for those. I'm grateful that they are active developers and it is a fun game, so I gave it a two instead of a one. Used to be more fun when I had occasional competition.

Glitches. Overall, I enjoy this game. I’m hoping this review gets a response from the developers. One of the in game award mechanics isn’t working. I am winning matches but not earning little purple Ts, whatever you call them. I’ve got a win streak going but it’s not being counted. It was earlier but it stopped. No explanation as to what the award is or how it works. I tried to submit a support ticket, but the support works through Discord and that link doesn’t work. I’ve accepted the Discord invite and nothing happens, and yes I have discord installed. I would love some resolution to both problems. Or at the very least some information on how and why I’m not earning rewards.

It could go places. I actually really enjoy this game for what it is, it’s a decent time waster and it’s definitely a great change of pace from everything else most game developers go for. If this game has any faults, it’s only that it’s still early development. If I could recommend any thing to the devs currently on the job, I’d only say that the chest and coin progression is a bit slow, usually it’s the gems or whatever else you have to pay for so props on it at least being more balanced. Also the energy capping at 5 is way too little, five matches can go by incredibly fast if your any kind of decent at the game, around 20 would be more sufficient. And the only other thing I could say I wish was different, was maybe more game modes that you can unlock as you progress. Or even events from time to time. The standard “eat everybody” or “get to 300” is fun and all but gets old fast, I could definitely envision large maps with 5 players rather than 3

Probably the best casual game on mobile. I have played this game every day for over a month now. It is fun, strategic, and definitely not pay to play, I am extremely stingy yet I made it to top 88% within 5 weeks using almost only Poison. My only real complaint had to do with Virus being able to multiply within the walls preventing you from winning unless you gained 300 evos but this seems to have been fixed. My next is more of a request I haven’t seen from others, PLEASE let us pick colors! As I mentioned Poison is my favorite evo and I am in love with the purple color scheme it has when you’re playing against it and I want to have that for my own evo! Secondly, please make it so I don’t lose my entire game when changing devices, I am in between devices at the moment and just found out ALL my progress is lost and I have to start over. Once I get a new phone I will have to start over again. This isn’t fair to those who have spent money unlocking evos which thankfully I didn’t. Overall fantastic game, please keep updating!

Fun game to pass the time. This has got to be one of the best games to be released for the App Store in a while. The team was able to make an incredibly enjoyable strategy game that doesn’t bog you down with rules and gives a decent balance for f2p vs p2p players. I completely disagree with anyone who claims “ is overpowered”; this just means they don’t have an evo with a strong counter or haven’t figured it out yet but in my experience every one can be countered by another type. That said it can definitely be an uphill battle for f2p players after a certain point. The real difference maker in this game are the perks you unlock and if you’re going against a 5-star Evo with all perks unlocked, you’re going to have to sweat it out to find your advantage. For me, this is where I’ve begun losing interest. Energy is not usually an issue for me but it does take a while to level without paying (as expected) and can really force you to grind it out for a long time before another Evo class is granted to you. Overall, fantastic concept, great execution. If you’re casual like me, it is a great game but if you want to be competitive, expect to spend money or dedicate some serious time to this one.

Average Mobile Game, Fun but some small Bugs. I encountered a Turtle Player which Turtle in General is just a pain to eat even when bigger than them, they also seem to just phase through me when im not even using Ghost. Besides that, This mobile game is basically just "Have a Brain? Enjoy the Free Wins" Since having Knowledge on opponent give you insights on how to play early and late game. Personal Tip, if you are still seeming to have some trouble with getting wins... Either start maining your highest level Evo to just have better stars then your opponents, or if your determined to spend money to win; Literally roll till you get Poison, Deletes whoever eats him and Max Level starts with Max Spell :) Overall... Pretty Simple/Basic game that requires no ingame purchases (unless you wanna support the creators or something...) n just has minor bugs but havent been game breaking.

Unorthodox stratagems or lucky setup. This is by far an easy quick play game that’ll have you playing many rounds. After you plateau on leveling is when your ability to strategize comes into play. But whether you’re overwhelmed by higher leveled opponents or outmaneuvered by better setup enemies you’ll keep on retrying matches. I don’t write reviews ever and this game actually made me want them to know how fantastic and addictive this had become. Paying isn’t necessary if you grind. You’re already going to play mobile games so work for upgrades or pay for them to show how much you appreciate this game to the developers.

Cool premise, Doesn’t work. Every time I have tried to play this game in the last month, none of the skills work at all and I end up just sitting there with one single evo while the opponents literally win by having 300 evos. Nothing has worked to fix this. I’ve restarted the app multiple times, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it just does not work. A game that can’t be played is no fun at all. To make matters worse, when clicking the support button in the app, it shows a discord server invite that doesn’t fit on the landscape screen. Meaning, the button to join the discord server is off screen, and it cannot be scrolled down to, and neither does changing the orientation of the phone switch it to portrait mode where we might be able to access the button. The idea for novel gameplay is really really cool, but the fundamentals of a functional app are just not there.

Very Interesting And I Like It. It is a fun game, it seems well balanced in the sense that when you are about finished maxing one of your little Evo tribes, you happen to find another one. My only gripe is that with the growth berries on one of the stages, you can make your Evos to big to fit out of any exit. You can then multiply them over and over again until the physics engine breaks and teleports them out to any available space. I won a game this way and I’m sure my opponent didn’t enjoy a bombardment of unstoppable Evos teleporting onto them.

Very fun but lack of matchmaking. This is a very fun game, but the fact that it tries to get you to think you are playing against other players when you are not in actuality bugs me. I’ve reached a certain point where the only players I see are ghost evos and hover evos. The last time I’ve seen any other time was at least 30 games ago. The game is not difficult enough as a result because I win around 95% of my games. I am interested in playing against other evos but never get to. As a result I am finding the game more boring over time. However, I feel they have struck a great balance between F2P and P2P

Good game, serious problems. The gameplay is good, the variety to the "evos" is engaging, it even looks nice. BUT the game has serious issues with balance. Like the latest only-available-if-you-pay evo is way overflowed compared to every other option except maybe two, and I say that because one of those two just has a 50 win streak with (it’s been broken OP since I first downloaded, and shortly after stopped playing the game last year). So now every game I’m paired against two opponents using the new hotness that can’t be beat unless I’m playing the option that I’ve already maxed out. The game just stopped being fun. Also the in app purchases are waaaaay over priced and the images used on the App Store page show features that don’t exist in the game

Energy. Good game fun to play. But stoped in my tracks because you only get 5 energy???? And it takes 15 minutes to relief 1 energy.

Fun game, greedy publisher. Yeah it's fun. I enjoy it. I bought a season pass and I thought it was a fair price, but it's not paying out any more and I WILL NOT PAY $31 for enough coins to advance one of several Evo types by a SINGLE level! It's extortion, I'm deleting the game.

Disappointing buy-out. Although it keeps the majority of the design and structure of Sergey Petuhov’s original game, and ZeptoLab have mildly improved the start up for new players, there’s a noticeable reduction in graphic quality, as well as slower growth of your avatar when feeding on trees. Players progress in the last iteration is also not transferable, so anyone seeking to continue where they left off will find themselves frustratingly out of luck. Unfortunately, this is not the biggest issue. Once again, a simple game offering solid enjoyment with very little time investment has been ruined by the greed. A large majority of the game is now peppered with constant prompts to buy boosts, or to sign up their subscription service, which is priced well above what the large majority of its player base will either be able to afford (kids under 15), or willing to pay for such a minimal return. Due to these issues, i find myself barely able to justify its two star rating, which is only based on what remains of Mr Petuhov’s efforts to build a respectable idle game.

Another game that wants you to stop playing. Another game that forces you to stop playing when you run out of energy, terrible idea. Don’t bother downloading.

Startup glitch. When the game is launched it launches in horizontal when it should be vertical allowing no access to things that should be on the bottom of the screen resulting in no progress through even the tutorial

Good for the most part. I like the game but i played for a few days and only got the original and balloon ones. Another thing a saw was my big units on top of smaller enemy units but they weren’t eaten. It actually made me lose multiple times.

Ruined in one update. This game was good then all the new updates just ruined the game play now it’s just another pay to win game 👎 to top it off there are glitches that allow certain egos to hide out of side while the screen floods nothing can be do about it

Decent game. Fun to play but for some reason it has ‘energy’ to play. Games that limit the amount of time you can spend on them are fundamentally flawed and frustrating. Remove the ‘energy’ feature and it gets a 5 star. If you wanted me to spend more time on your app you would not limit the amount I can play.

Game was executed poorly. Don’t get me wrong, I like the overall concept of the game but the cons out way the pros. There are various reasons why I gave such a low review, these include giving the impression that EvoPop is an online game even though the “players” are just bots, you cannot even open chests while online, some Evo’s are much better than others.

Don’t download.. Good idea for a game. Extremely poor execution. I enjoyed the first 5 minutes of play until the app kept pushing purchases down my throat. I am fine with ads on free games. I get it you need to make money. But this game locks out most of it if you don’t purchase the full game. It’s ridiculous. Most of the game features were locked out after 5 minutes. I couldn’t upgrade the characters any further without a purchase. If you want to waste 5 minutes get this game. If you want to not waste your life, don’t bother.

This game is good. It’s filled with p2w IAP’s and almost all games with energy systems are only supposed to addict you but otherwise it’s a good fun game

Scam game, but fun. The game is fun to play but when examine it closely it’s a dishonest game. The biggest problem is that the game IS NOT MULTIPLAYER, but after a game it says your better than x% if players. The game can be played on airplane mode so it’s obviously just a scheme to keep you playing. The other big problem is small payout after matches. 10 coins but upgrading past level 4 cost 1200. Just another way to get people to pay money in the shop. Don’t be fooled this game is made to addict you so you spend money on it. Don’t fall for the trap.

Fun! But.... This is very good, I just have one question and one complaint: Q. Is the game not online? I refuse to believe everyone’s names are in all caps, or that some of their plays are THAT dumb (ex: guy spamming magnet power even though he is too small to kill any of my evos) C. Some evos are WAY too overpowered. Balloon and feral can crush games. Balloon ends up making a million clones of itself fast, and feral can win really easily and crush the opponent under the right circumstance. Overall still good, not as pay to win as others claim it to be, but some things are just weird Oh also there are like no sound effects in the whole game like WHAT.

Neat. Still buggy... at some point the matchmaking goes rogue and you just end up fighting virus enemies non stop... at least 20 matches in a row. Kinda lame.

Cool Game but forever to level up. The good? Fun to play, replay value is high! The ugly? This game forces you to buy things to keep playing mid to late in the game. The most maddening thing is you will grind out a first place on the board for competitions (I’ve done it at least twice). Your reward? Total crap. 1000 coins and 25 gems. I reached the pinnacle of Evo and that is the best the developers can do? Pretty pathetic actually.

Boring after 1 day. This game is good enough to play for one day and then gets repetitive and redundant this is the reason there is energy system to prevent players from binge playing and deleting the next day.

Evo islands sucks. The game was already great, but now the map is completely different. Plus, I’m always matched with very easy opponents, and I dislike that. Add back legacy evo pop! Oh, and I also dislike powers. But I can work around them, usually literally. Add back the legacy map, and the sweet average 5* rating is yours.

A perfect game ruined by an energy system. It would be a perfect game if there was no energy system. However, I do understand your need to implement some advantages to p2w players. However, a better solution could be to have a game mode where you just play for fun with no rewards, and maybe also add a mode where you can play against friends. Also this game seems too easy, as it always seems to put me up against weak opponents. This has caused me to never lose a single game, making it unfair for others, even though I’m a f2p person. Otherwise this is an amazing game and everyone should download it

Terribly unfair. There’s a sudden death mode where water rises and the last evo to not drown is the winner, now this is a good concept and fair, just means you have to get to high ground. Except it isn’t fair, as there’s an evo and perk that lets you just float on water and never die. I don’t know who designed that specifically, but that is a bad game design. This game could be fun but it’s full of game crashing bugs, bad map design that decides if you win or lose by just map placement alone, and pay to win models that put EA to shame.

Make where there no energy. Add infinite energy pls it will make fun and I will love it

Mess of poor decisions. The game has potential, but doesn’t give enough options to make it fun. Every game you’ll just use the same strategy over and over again. The fake multiplayer is extremely obvious, and the rounds are either way too easy (the AI players are extremely stupid) or you know you’re going to lose at the start (At least one is designed so that you can only win if you start in the right area). Lots of unnecessary microtransactions, including loot boxes and a battle pass. Overall just a boring and unfun game riddled with mistakes.

I'm not sure wether it's my luck or the game but every time I play a championship game there's 90% of the time a maxed virus evo. It makes the game near impossible for me to beat it with a balloon evo and a thunderstorm artifact.

Game became unplayable. I am no longer allowed to spend evo points to upgrade my evos, it just makes me sit there with max evo points until the game is over. That’s 30$ terribly spent. I want my money back.

Worst game mechanics. When you lose in sudden death you’re always 3rd place. World generation doesn’t allow you to move around. Some how my little squares always go smaller over time don’t download it sucks.

Great game overall. I really like this game but the new update really should’ve come with a tutorial for everyone. I had to go on the discord to figure out that to progress in the new update, you have to complete the level 6 times.

Great without energy. The game at the time of this review is good, the system and mechanics work and graphic add a touch of innocence, but energy is bringing the game to a stop as after playing 5 round, maybe 6 if they give you while playing. This part is what bring this game down from a 5 star review down to a 3 star. If this mechanic didn’t exist then the game would be great and played by many more. Hopefully they take it out, or add mode that don’t need it, but as of now I recommend this as a casual game to play once every hour or two. And not for a person looking to pass time.

Buggy and P2W. The game is fun mechanically and could have been really cool but it’s hampered by wild bugs (where’s your opponent? Offscreen and still replicating? Stuck in the landscape and un-killable? Did you win some evolution tokens— nope, the total went down before going up. Etc.) And then there’s the aggressive pay to win component: you will not advance or beat other players unless you dump a bunch of cash into dumb materials to “upgrade” your character. All together, this game is a miss dog. Don’t waste the time or cash

Great game, terrible AI. Love the concept and the gameplay, I’ve actually purchased the season pass, however suddenly now that I’ve gotten to the higher levels some of the AIs are just awful. Most of the time they make terrible decisions or they just sit there and magnet themselves to death, particularly if they’re playing Feral. Honestly wouldn’t believe that those are real ppl playing as it’s happening in almost every match.

The game is really good and my only problem is that there is energy to fight, so you have 5/5 energy and if you battle it would go down 4/5 and then you have to wait like around 5 minutes to get another, so it’s kinda annoying when I want to play it but then I have to wait. STILL AWESOME 🤩

Engaging time waster but zero balance. Fun enough to fiddle with and could be great if they bothered balancing. The Virus evo is almost guaranteed to win if it simply grows three or four times at the start. The blue AI player, if it uses Virus, usually does this - it grows maybe four times and then reproduces quickly. Matches against this evo are quite often lost in less than 15 seconds. Fun enough to pass the time but not worth spending money on until they take game balance seriously.

It’s lonely at the top. Gameplay was ok until the last update…if I want to lose I have to try to. I have yet to have one evo pose a threat to mine and I’ve played through every level. The computer has gone limp (spoiler: you’re not playing other real ppl…) and poses NO opposition. If there are actual players then why do I score “better than 92% of other players” EVERY SINGLE TIME? I give it 2 stars as I did have fun in the beginning …now it’s just worthless. Maybe those without maxed cards have better game play? Needs another overhaul.

Fun. Don’t get me wrong it s a fun game. I don’t really understand the stupid mechanics. For instance, I place an explosion on the left and my 1 block goes flying off the lvl to the left. From an explosion on its left. Much sense, mucho physics. I did get the season pass and it felt like all I got was gold. Which again, is cool an all, but I really need other things. Not 30k gold. Game needs some basic improvements from logical game makers not interested in money. But alas, what else are games made for these days?

You start off with a decent evo, an evo is a block that has a special feature attached to it. However, as you progress, you’re going to have to purchase a good evo to beat other players. I will say though, that the game is very addicting and I kinda recommend it if you’re not poor.

Fun but buggy. This is a fun game but it has some serious bugs. Some matches when the AI uses the magnets it attracts nearby evos normally, other times it literally attracts evos halfway across the map into it at insane speeds, and good luck when both AIs use it and you’re in the middle the match is over right away. Also the speed in which the AI gets upgrades is random. Sometimes it upgrades in size every 1 second and within 7 seconds it’s already game over for you because those mega evos start replicating like crazy.

Good game but a few bugs. The game is really enjoyable but it has a few mild (and one really infuriating) bugs. When you lose all your evos you always get 3rd place even if one of the players has 0 evos (other than you). For some reason a spike evo that has never grown will get stick to the map and become invincible occasionally. Finally, I’ve gotten 158 out of 160 poison evos from boxes and have never gotten more since. I’m certain this is a bug because I’VE UNLOCKED EVERY OTHER EVO trying to finish poison. Why have I gotten all the evos including 4 and 5 star evos trying to get just TWO MORE 2 STAR EVOS. The bugs are usually fairly mild but that last one is plainly ridiculous.

eh. was having a lot of fun with the game, until every matchup was against paid for 9/9 Virus Evo players, and sometimes before you even load into the match youve already been blown off the map. Other times they use their attract spell and before you even get your first spell youre getting whipped around the map like a rag doll. In most cases it doesnt really matter what evo youre using because theyll beat you before you get to do ANYTHING. Other than Virus Evo the game is pretty great, if it werent for them it would be 5 stars from me.

Deceptive?. I have played this game for like two days now i thought it was an “online” game and we were fighting actual people, but it turns out that this game is an offline game, from some reviews people say pay to win or something when in reality we were just playing with bots that have an unfair advantage, the game looks to be forcing users to pay money otherwise they will have to play against strong bots with nothing other than starter evos. In conclusion, season pass shouldn't exist neither should we pay money to get anything new nor have an energy system. Anyways kinda scammy, so eh.

I play too much of this…. I saw my friend playing this game. Downloaded it. And now I can’t stop. I have been taking meds to stop myself from playing this game. I am gaining weight. I am developing illnesses. I need help. I have an addiction to this game. I hope that you won’t develop such an addiction to this game as I did.

Evo not.. I really enjoyed this game but my biggest issue with it is that every time it updates I’m forced to uninstall and reinstall it because it completely crashes. Each time I’ve had to do this I’ve had to start all over again and despite having paid for multiple season passes I’m declined the option of restoring my purchases. Real shady how you charge people or have a million ads about spending money on this game when it’s apparently a scam seeing as every update will crash the game and force the issue of having to reinstall only to find all your money was wasted as you have to start all over. Ouch.

Dislike recent changes. I used to play when before all this artifact stuff and I uninstalled when I saw an ad I reinstalled and was disappointed. My favorite (cube/character?)camo was moved from rare to epic which makes it much harder to fully level them up and even get them and now these artifact slots take more chests up. I personally had fond memories but this was a free game with no ads. The battle pass got them.

More ways to spend coins. I really like the game for the one hour I’ve played it but I mean there’s one thing that doesn’t exactly make sense there’s no ways to spend coins other than leveling up when I get the cards of the evos I have which I’m okay with just I’m getting so much coins I don’t know what to spend them on

Not bad until Hover evo comes along. Good lazy game to pass the time. Feral is kinda hard to beat with the earlier Evos but once you go against a Hover Evo that goes out the window. If they use their one skill that makes them go really high they end up on some hidden platform or something no one else can reach or even see so they win cause the water comes and kills everyone else. Only way to win is to try and get 300 evos before that happens while also fighting off the other person. Seems broken and hopefully will be fixed.

I no longer like it as much. I liked the game but the only problem I have is I have to wait to play after I used the energy used to play so if you want to play for hours no end then don’t play this game cause you’ll have to wait after 5 games. Or you can have very long games in between but they don’t really last long over all not a too bad game. Now I’ve been playing for some time I don’t like it as much also the ice evo is useless I can use it I start a game it pushes me off the map cause I start near a ledge I also get pushed down even further by other enemy evos so overall I don’t like it as much anymore also annoying sometimes.

Fun game - don’t spend money. I love this game. I loved it before their previous removal from the App Store and the issues involved there. I will GLADLY spend money on a game that I enjoy. And I did here; I bought the season pass. However, new Evos and upgrades are hidden either behind a “currency” wall or “progress” wall. Literally all of my boxes at season level 15 are just gold or gems. No evo cards, no new evos. I am unsure if it is because of world progress, or not spending the gold or gems on upgrading the evos I don’t want to use. This is absolutely insane in a game that I spent money on that isn’t a requirement. I now feel handicapped because I spent money.

Mostly fun. This is actually a pretty fun game. There’s a glitch where sometimes a certain color Evo will not show anywhere on the screen, and you’ll still die from sudden death mode when the water rises. I don’t know if it was a ledge they flew into above where the player is able to see, or what... But it’s really frustrating to eradicate every other Evo you can find, and still lose. That said, I’m kinda hooked on it. It’s fun and fairly relaxing (nothing to lose).

Great but where’s multiplayer. The game is great and you can get pretty creative with some strategy’s. The game is barely p2w as it’s incredibly easy to max out and get new evos and other currency’s without spending a cent. A lot of the maps are the exact same which wouldn’t be a problem if you could play against actual people

Has Potential. I’ve played the game for a little bit, and it has great potential. The concept behind the game is great, and the cute little evos are adoring. However, it needs improvement. As of now, there’s a bug where even though I have enough coins to upgrade my balloon evos, it won’t let me upgrade it. I’m assuming this problem is occurring because I don’t have enough coins to upgrade Original, so the game thinks I can’t upgrade anything. Overall, cute game, needs bug fixes.

Solid, but could use some tweaks. I have played this game for a while and like how it’s easy to start off and not too difficult to get good characters, though the game makes it really hard, if not impossible to progress after a certain point, really slowing down gameplay. Besides that, I’d say this is a great game.

Great Game But.... I really like this game simple concept but more complex than you would expect. Only complaint is the energy system 5 max energy is not very much especially when 1 takes 10-15 minutes to rejen and every time you battle you loose 1 so I find my self needing to wait before play sessions. The game itself is great just the mergers system irks me.

Balance is dumb. It was a fun game a first, earning it 5 stars, but as I played more I eventually only started getting games where my opponents were the virus evo with max upgrades. It’s not that the battles are hard against them (I just use turtle evo and I can’t lose) it’s that now that every match is just that it got boring. That’s why I can only give it 3 stars, it got dull but I still play in the hopes an update in the future fixes this problem because now I don’t even get in matches with other evos, literally. It’s nothing but virus evo from here on out and it’s a darn shame.

Complete cash grab. I have been playing a this game for a bit now. It has fun gameplay but it is completely impossible to upgrade evos without spending tremendous amounts of money. I have the virus evo lvl 6 and to upgrade him to level 7 I need 20,000 coins. You only get ~10 coins for playing 1 game. That means you need to play 2000 games to level him up one time. Not to mention that evo has 2 other levels after this one. The other resources you need to level up artifacts and such can’t be gained through playing the game. They can only be obtained from loot boxes, which you need to pay money for.

❤️ Super good ❤️. OMG, THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!! ❤️❤️❤️So much fun and super satisfying when an evo gets eaten. I know the game may sound a bit harsh but nope, not really. I love the new evos and the cool powers they have. I just wish your chance of getting a new evo was more common. I have played for a while now but I still just have the first two. I hope you guys can fix or chang that a bit. Everything else is super fun and entertaining. I recommend this game to anyone.

Great game, very fun, few issues. I love the game, the idea is great and the game is fantastic and fun. I dislike how many in game pop ups there are for buying their content but I can live with that. The part I genuinely hate about this is the energy. You get to play five games before it makes you wait a lengthy amount of time for the energy to recover. I want to just sit down and play this for a while but I play for like 10 minutes, and then there’s a half hour wait to play for another ten minutes. Even the in game purchases are fair. You can easily earn all the gems and coins and stuff, so you don’t HAVE to buy them to be good or upgrade things. I just want to play more without the energy

Good game but low income. This game is really good for passing time and is very entertaining however I feel during every match you start once you select your evo the income you make for every completed round is (too low) which makes me feel forced to buy more coins to even upgrade my evos. It would be helpful if I could make more coins but despite that it’s a really good, fun game!👍🏼

My favorite game but I hate the spike bug. This is my absolute favorite game it’s absolutely amazing and I have spent a lot of money on it it’s so addicting but EVERYTIME I play against a “spike” evo one glitches to the wall and I have to go to 300 to win no matter how big I make the egos touching it it’s like it’s not there and can still produce more egos but you can’t kill it and it takes FOREVER for it to drown

This game is a complete lie. Thought this game was online multiplayer? It’s not. I played several rounds while on airplane mode and it “connected” fine! I also tried closing and reopening the app and it didn’t disconnect me when any actual online multiplayer game would do so. This game’s concept is good, but it’s riddled with balancing issues (It’s near impossible to win against Turtle), bugs (sometimes larger evos don’t eat smaller ones even when they’re directly touching), and the aforementioned lie about online multiplayer. I’d rate it one star if it weren’t for the concept, otherwise this game is trash.

Lost Progress. I had gotten this game a few months ago and when iOS updated the app stopped working. I had spent real world currency on new evo’s and upgrades and such. All that progress and purchases are now lost and I’m a bit unsure if I will continue playing because I feel as if I got ripped off. The old app won’t load up at all. I’m wondering what I can do to get this fixed or made right so all my progress isn’t lost. I do quite enjoy the game. I just don’t like what happened after the iOS update

It’s a fun game except for a few details. It is a fun game and it really appeals to me due to its simple but skillful gameplay, however it does have a lot of ads and is kind of pay to win (because of its use of buying gems for pretty much everything but then again almost every mobile game does that). Just like it’s neighboring game C.A.T.S. (which I also highly recommend, it’s so addicting and fun!)

Played for…? 2.5 yrs. I’ve played this game for what seems forever. I’ve even deleted it a time or two…. Then several months go by…grab it again. I’ve made 0 in game buys, seen many updates, NO adds. It can be addictive. But it’s relaxing at the same time. Each game lasts under 5 mins from start to finish…. So walking away isn’t a big deal either… trust you won’t want to.

Amazing Game. I love this game, literally play it all day every day. Crazy how it’s become my favorite so fast, can’t wait to see what future evos come to the game. If I had anything toCritique on the game is how OVERPOWERED the evo Virus explosion and magnet abilities are. No way asoon as the match begins their able to blow me off the map or yank me from the other side of the map. Even tho I win 98% of those encounters I still enjoy the game overall.

Such a good game to spend time on. I love this game, but I have a little request type thing that maybe you could add to the game for the future. I myself have a lot of coins and nothing to spend them on, so my idea is why don’t you add either a conversion thing or like chest you can buy with coins and that. Still I love the game!

Fun, but Good luck. I quite enjoy Evo Pop. It’s been a go to game for me over the past 2 weeks. I like the concept a lot and have made it to around the 57th percentile of players (not that that’s too great, just for experience estimation). The main issue for me is balance. I lucked out and got Virus, enough XP to level it to 4, and it feels totally broken. I feel like I hardly lose at all, and when I do end up defeated, it’s exclusively by a Feral that’s maxed out size all round and benefits from my rapidly expanding army once they inevitably clash (thanks Magnet spell). It’s so busted it breaks the map and land boundaries when done right. Like... “ah, that cave has one single Balloon evo in there” then a stream of Feral Evos the size of Texas burst out and game over... busted. In some ways it definitely feels like a strategy game, but the inter-evo dynamics seem a little too Rock/Paper/Scissors/Lizard/Spock for me. “IGN/5” -2

Fun game but pay to win. It is a very fun game that uses strategy and quick thinking to try and outsmart your opponents. But everything is pay to win. You can only play five games at a time and then there is a 15 min timer to get another charge to play another game. If you close the app and reopen it the timer doesn’t change. So the app has to be open for you to get more charges... Thought this was going to be my next go to game but the pay to win is turn off.

good, but kind of pay to win.. i played this for a bit and i kept seeing the same people with such good evos in like the 2nd island. maybe like try to not have the prices to high or make stuff to overpowered? but overall its a good game. also I HATE the energy thing but i guess its another way for the devs to earn money. kind of a short review.

Whoever was developing this game please read this. Ok so the creator of this game won’t see this MAYBYE I think it’s really good but the tutorial needs a skipping option I’ve played it a bunch of time and another thing about the tutorial it’s so long I don’t think people need four examples of the same thing. A great mobile game. It’s not like the other mobile games that flood the market that only have one gameplay mechanic and it isn’t plagued by ads it’s miles above what mobile games are today it reminds me of 2011 mobile games. My only nitpick about it is the tutorial is long but that’s about it

A pretty decent game. This game overall is pretty good. It would be better in upcoming updates and if they found away to play offline and online at the same tome with real time. I wouldnt recommend buying anything on the game until they have a way of giving you back the items that might get glitch out. I would how ever recommended going all out on this game so when they do update it youll have a better chance of getting everything you want beforehand. Anywho try it out

Love the game, but it needs some balancing. The game is great and hard to put down! Very well done. However, the Toad’s slime is WAY overpowered. Only defense is to leave a layer of your dead to build on. Even then, the slime sticks around SO LONG. As I’ve progressed in the game, I’m encountering the Toad more and more, and it’s making those matches very near impossible. Hope to see Toad’s slime get nerfed very soon. That, or some sort of defense/resistance get created. Still, great game!

Wish it made it to 4 or 5 stars. This game does not put ads in your face every 5 seconds. This game does not put a $3+ purchase in your face. This game DOES put its slightly overpriced season pass in your face. This game DOES occasionally have a feature that is obviously just there for that extra penny. Which is bad. But otherwise, this game is pretty good. They sure know what they’re doing, it’s fun, BUT if you have money to spend it’s probably a little better. Think what you will of that

Decent. The game is decent but the game feels like it is supposed to be pay to win with a low amount of currency to buy boxes to upgrade stuff but everything in the game just feels kinda medium like it was made by a company that didn’t have the money they actually should have since every game has at least one evo that you need to play for. Also frog is a great evo for numbers.

Fun but something’s have prices. When I got the game I played it for a while and I released you had to pay for some things the is still really really fun but the prices for some things are a little too expensive. So you can make some things cheaper. And can you remove some of the adds. 👍🏻

Fun but has some problems. First of all the game is really entertaining to pass the time, but it has several issues that make it frustrating rather then fun. (1.) Half of the time when you start a round your enemy will already be absolutely huge and eat everything instantly. (2.) The Hover Evo is unbalanced when playing against it and gets stuck outside the map, making it impossible for you to win the round. (3.) The Turtle Evo can for some reason temporarily survive in the water during sudden death, and besides that it’s extremely difficult to even defeat them. (4.) The game feels like it’s heading toward a pay to win style because of all of the premium only features. Developers if you read this please put giant invisible walls around the sides of the map so your opponents can’t get stuck outside there and automatically win.

Huh?. I get a glitch at the start of the game when I try to go it only shows half of the screen the other half is just pure black and then if I wait for it to load it shows me what map I want yet there’s no buttons to click do I just click the button or do I just wait on the map I want?

No longer playable. This game was a go to for me if I wanted to have fun. But at some point they added a feature where you could kill your own Evo with the swap ability. This has caused me to kill my character before the game even can get going. This completely ruins the game. You can’t even relocate your unit without causing all laws of physics to break and sending your Evo into solid rock. For a game that was mediocre I’m the beginning, it has become unplayable for people like me who rely on the swap ability to start all our games. The swap should not place the Evo into the ground because it never did that before the recent update.

It’s Fun But. Like I said the title, it’s fun it has a lot of potential in it, it has good game idea behind it and can a good set of classes in it. But it’s inconsistent and has some bug in it, for one I have a artifact or spell I want to equip to my evo, but I’m unable to equipped it though I have a slot for it for that class. Next is the balancing, the rarity doesn’t matter, since some are to OP while others seem useless and hard to use to get any benefit from it. The last thing is the progression, it takes forever to get anywhere , I’m a F2P, so it’s normal to wait for a long time to make some progress, but here it takes much much more time, for one the evo quest to progress in the Pass takes too long to refresh and the some quest can be annoying to do so. It’s fun to play with and it’s for anyone, but long term, it’s not worth it.

Not really worth spending money. I love this game very much. I was thinking of buying the evo pass, but found it you go against bots and not real people. I feel like it’s a waste of money to buy it since it’s against bots, but overall this game is amazing. Hopefully sometime in the future you guys make it multiplayer online where you face actual people, therefore the pass would be worth it. Thanks for reading :)

Really fun! Just one thing. Its an amazing game, since its not online, you can play it at any time. One thing i dont like is the power thing, you can only play 5 times. I have a suggestion. Either remove it or make it 10, its really annoying. Its also the only game you make that has it. Please remove it or make it 10

I love this game BUT. I do enjoy this game it is very fun and repetitive but the prices to buy things are outrages, I think you guys would make more money lowing prices because I’m not spending 50$ on a game I just got, if it’s 99¢ for me to test out what I’m buying I definitely would’ve already but I’m not spending 5-6$ right when I get the game to get an coins or an upgrade , that’s the only disappointing part to me. I hope you guys take that into consideration and make a cheaper option.
