Nope. I free article a month then you gotta pay plenty of other sources online that I can get local news for free this is nothing but a money grab

Good but needs improvements. Love the app but when on the website it kicks you back to the Home Screen if you do not sign up but I pay already I think it should bring you to the app if your on the website there’s links I see and click on and I can’t read it unless I go and find it on the app

I wish. I am a subscriber to the NC News Paper. I wish i did not have to sign in every time i want to read your news letter on my phone

Finally. Great way to access both the local Norwalk Hour and papers from all across Hearst’s Connecticut footprint. This app is a phenomenal replacement to the old apps for each paper that went dark some 3 years ago, and were just glorified portals to the mobile version of the paper’s homepage. Well done!

Unable to read even though I paid for access. Each time I try to pull up an article a pop up appears Afro me to ‘subscribe’, or to ‘log out’ etc and there is no way to get rid of this ridiculous pop up so I can read the article! Or if I do manage to read an article and go to a second article, a pop up will say I’ve ‘met my quota’ and can’t read anymore articles! It’s absurd! I have reached out to the company to no avail. I’m paid up for a subscription through January and I have to struggle to read it. Not happy. Wendy Kosier

Not for Androids. This App seems to work pretty cleanly on my iPad, but on my Samsung I am repeatedly besieged by pop ups and unending requests to whitelist the page. Not worth it. I miss my newspaper.

Worst site ever. Nothing but ads and links to ads. Even as a subscriber, unable to complete an article without interruption, so I cancelled. And it costs more than The NY Times. Amazing.

Will not link print subscription as described. I subscribe to one of the local papers, the new haven register, and i should be able to read the articles through this app by linking my subscription. I have done this many many times, it seems to ask me almost every time i use the app, and at the moment, I can’t get it to authenticate at all, so at this point i have removed the app, I’ll just use a browser.

Excellent app. Clean interface, and easy access to multiple local Hearst newspapers and all of their opinion writers. I rarely give out 5 star reviews but this is a great app!

Nice news app. I love that I can get news from several newspapers. Nice design, too.

Have News Times subscription and can’t read more than 1 or 2 articles. I’ve tried linking my subscription multiple times (claims success) but still can’t read articles in the app. Please fix!!!

Good App - Notifications link to nothing. The app overall is pretty good, but when there is a news notification, I’d you click to open the story from the notification, it just opens a blank page in the app, not the article. You then have to navigate back to the home screen and find the article, which isn’t always at the top so is very annoying.

Will not stay logged in, locked out. I’m a paying subscriber who gets prompted again & again to subscribe because I’ve run out of “free” articles. I keep linking my subscription and I get it confirmed, but continue to have this issue to the point where the app is virtually useless. I just signed in 3 times to read 1 article.

Solid app with some key gaps. Need to be able to save favorite articles and search for articles by keyword as well. Also need to be able to comment on articles. Open dialog and debate on issues today is critical. Oh, and it would be great if an article that was opened via an emailed link on a mobile device (or the newsletter you send) redirected to the mobile app if installed or there was a message on the website to download the app if not installed. That’s pretty common functionality for news organizations.

Email headlines should automatically open my insider subscription based on my email address. Not at all practical

Review. It is annoying when I keep getting offers when I already pay for the news. It blocked out the article so I can’t read it.

Poor Technology- Better than nothing?. I am a reluctant subscriber to the Hearst Publications because of their local news coverage and committed journalists. The technology used by CTI is dated, inefficient and clumsy. When I move from a link in the email sent with the day’s headlines I am required to re-log into the app, which causes me to loose my link to the article???? My ability to find the facsimile front page of the CT Post is random. The local feed of news stories invariably combines stories from New Fairfield and Fairfield. My intro price went from $1.00 a month to $28 a month without notice. When I tried to investigate there was no on line option and the call center hours were 8:00-3:00 Monday to Friday. Better than nothing I guess.

Local sports coverage stinks! Poor searching options…. Lo

Local media. I am excited to read the information you provided on the local community and government agencies in our state.

Pretty decent app for local CT news. This app nicely brings together local CT news from a group of smaller local papers in other NewHaven Register. however one major short coming is the lack of a search feature. Maybe it’s in here somewhere but I haven’t found a way to search
