Stay away from this scam.. This apps reviews are mostly fake. It’s a very shady app that will charge you 60 dollars if you don’t cancel in time. Stay away.

W. T. F.. 1. Don’t ask me for $60 as your welcome screen. It looks like your greedy and desperate. 2. Give me LITERALLY ANY direction on how to use your app. Is it a camera or a video recorder or is there a difference between modes? Idk. I guess I never will.

Misleading splash screens promise free to use but then charge. You can’t even try the app without subscribing to it first.

This works great on ios. A hassle free and cost effective way of generating 'usable' 3d scans.

Walk away. The worst “Freemium” I have ever seen. Download it for free, and it is just 3 pages of advertising saying what it can do, but it does nothing unless you agree to a $60/year subscription. Isn’t that what the App Store pages is for? I kept it just long enough to write this review. Not worth the bandwidth of downloading it.

Doesn’t do anything. What’s the point of this app? It just puts rainbow lines or dots all over, andddddd that’s it. There’s no measuring or anything. It’s pointless.

This app is complete garbage. It doesn’t produce a 3D rendering like other apps - it’s useless.

Subscription required. So I downloaded the app to see how well it does with the new iPhone 12 pro Max LiDAR. When I get through the first few screens the last screen says “Free to use” but in order to use the app you need to subscribe for a “free trial” for $59.99 a year. *Cannot use unless subscribing $60 a year.

INSANE LRICE, UNUSABLE SOFTWARE. As soon as you go to try the app, it prompts you to pay $60 to SUBSCRIBE to their app. Are you kidding? I’d happily spend $2-3 on this app but $60 A YEAR?? You’re out of your mind, that’s borderline laughable. Immediately uninstalled.

“Free” to use.... Says in big letters that it’s “free to use” on the splash screen...but it’s actually unable to be used without agreeing to a subscription or free trial (that leads to a subscription). Instant uninstall. Misleading.

Bait and Switch. App tried to get you to unknowingly sign up for a $59 annual fee. This app is only about there to try to charge people that want to look at the Lidar scanner. Buyer beware. Apple - take notice.

Not free like the splash screen says. The splash screen says “free to use” with an option to try the pro upgrade features - the “free to use” is a lie. You can only move past screen if you subscribe. There is a 7 day trial, but that is not free to use. This app REQUIRES a paid subscription. One star for the false premises.

Have to agree to subscription before trying. It is a free week then the full subscription kicks in. I have never found an app that is worth paying for that didn’t let you see at least some of what it could do without agreeing to a subscription first. They tend to rely on people forgetting to cancel or not reading the print and realizing they will be charged.

No saves = no point. Great visualization of scan data, but there’s no ability to save 3D information, and the download button causes app to crash every time.

Great app on iPad Pro 2020. Add ability to save 3D scanned files and add more features and also fix import button bug that cause app close...

SCAM APP - DON’T DOWNLOAD. This is one of those scam apps that require you to sign up for a free trial that automatically charges your after 7 days before you can even use it. These types of apps are on the rise in the App store and many do not contain any useful functionality after you “unlock” it. It’s just a funnel to bait people into signing up for a subscription.

SCAM!!. Do NOT download! This app is a fraud. They figure a certain % of people will forget to cancel their trial subscription before the 7 days are up. That is their business model. Don’t fall for it. And isn’t it ironic that the reviews are all either 5 star or 1 star? That’s because the 5 star reviews are written by the developer. You can tell because they contain the same broken english that’s used in the app description. And the 1 star are written by everyone else. Note to developer - at least get someone who speaks English to write your reviews for you.

Scam App! Beware. I was charged $60 for downloading this app, and it’s capabilities are terrible, especially when compared to many of the free or low cost Lidar apps out there. This is a complete scam and is basically a worthless app.

Lidar Camera. First off i Go to tic where it says “im not interested “ and it doesn’t respond so right there says dont use! For people that don’t know what lidar is or does? true lidar is mostly used on helicopters or remote control helicopters with GPS and used over terrain that is covered in vegetation . Lidar strips the vegetation away to see the geography under neath its used in Mexico and South America a lot now looking for Aztec and Myan Pyramids that’s been grown over for centuries and has found 100s of new sites to go explore. Does this app do this? i doubt it so knowing this be careful what you are downloading when they make you subscribe for a trial version

Don’t buy it. I bought it and got my phone replaced and it won’t let me reinstall. No support. Totally a waste of money. Apple this should be removed.

Only way to try is sign up for bill. App launches to loading screens that only let you agree to a 59$ bill with a free trial and auto renewal. 59$ for a camera app is a LOT and I can’t even try without agreeing.

$100.00 AUD per year subscription???. You have to subscribe before you get your one week free trial, for anyone to be interested in this program you would need at least a couple of months to to be sure it’s worth investing money into, I don’t mind paying a subscription, for a service or product I think is worth it.

There is no free trial. I was charge a full year’s subscription $98 after being told it was a free trial. Not happy!!!!

Great Lidar evaluator and art tool.. It free.It does exactly as described. The various ways of superimposing Lidar data on photos and video allow a clean evaluation ,visually at least, of Lidar’s point noise and registration. It saved photos/video with colored Lidar grid to Photos. Compared to other ,more developed Lidar apps, it’s simplicity gives more reassurance on Lidar’s fundamental behavior. Yes I too would like the 3D mesh data to analyze and interpolate to make real CAD models...but that’s for a future release I would well pay for!
