Never again!. Downloaded the app last night and it was working. Went to use it this morning with my family to hear the Dawn Service in our driveway and no sound! Very disappointing! Have read lots of others had no sound either!

Didn’t work. Not happy, when I first downloaded this app a few days ago in hope to use it for the driveway service this morning the ABC radio was working fine. When trying to connect this morning to listen to the last post at 6am. Nothing was working and completely missed out on listening.

ANZAC Disappointment. I finally loaded the app after many attempts and it showed a beautiful candle lit up at 0600 but no music. I thought it was going to at least play the ‘The Last Post’ or ‘Revellie.’ I had at least found my own words to Lest we Forget. I thankfully heard the neighbours from afar playing. They even played the national anthem later. I wish I hadn’t been so worried about social distancing and walked a little way up the street. Really disappointed 🇦🇺

Radio not working. Unfortunately the app radio didn’t work when needed. When first downloaded All functions of the app works well. When I open this morning there was no sound so had to quickly run download a radio app to listen to the last post. Disappointing. Great concept wish it had of worked for us.

Shameful. I was really disappointed when my street relied on this app for the last post. It dropped out. In fact it dropped out at the most important part. They are saying to many people were on and it jammed. We had strong signal. Well an app that jams is a useless app. We listened to a car radio instead. We still honoured those brave men and women but this app dishonoured them. If I could give no stars I would!

Didn’t work until ceremony was over. I guess it’s to be expected that lots of people using this at the same time would cause problems. I tested it a day before and it was fine, but when I tried it at the appropriate time, it didn’t work. 10 minutes after the ceremony was over, the candle was alight...

Crashes before even working. As with so many others, I can download, but it crashes the second I am asked to put in my location. Yes, I have the latest update installed, I have turned my phone off and back on. With any luck, this will be sorted by ANZAC Day. Will keep watching for it to be fixed

No problems setting it up. I had no problems setting the location and flag before it started streaming ABC radio. My device is running iOS 13.4. Update: if the developers plan to continue improving this app, I would suggest enabling the ABC radio stream to continue in the background when the app isn’t running in the foreground or the device is locked.

ANZAC DAY 2020 App. No problems downloading the app. Works fine. Can’t wait to use this additional feature on 5.30am on ANZAC DAY. No trouble setting the location. Thank you for setting this up in time for Saturday’s 2020 ANZAC DAY commemorations.

App was early!. Used the app this morning for the service but it was early which meant we were standing at the end of our driveway with everything happening before 6am! Ruined the experience for us and probably our neighbours too!

Worked straight up. Downloaded the app, set my location and away it went no problems on a 7th gen iPad with the latest iso update. Thanks to the developers, it will be great for Saturday’s dawn service in my driveway.

Has now worked for me. I have had issues all week with the same problems as people mentioned (setting location would just close the app). I have just deleted and reinstalled each day and finally this evening it worked for me beautifully. I have an iPhone 6 so perhaps just try deleting the app and then reinstalling to see if that also works for you. It didn’t work tonight so I deleted and reinstalled and then it worked straight away with all the features. Great work by the developers on getting this set up in such a short time frame. Will be using it on Saturday.

Disappointed. So disappointed that it did not work this morning. I downloaded the night before and heard the radio on it but this morning it did nothing. All of my trouble shooting didn’t work either. This app had one job for one moment and it failed.

Big Fail. Installed the day before, tested on driveway to confirm strong wifi signal, all good. On the morning, fails to stream despite other apps having no problem. Phone is iPhone X, all up to date with updates, etc. Tried reinstalling, rebooting phone, nothing works. Had to give up troubleshooting in the near dark as we could see via our neighbours that the Ode had started. After the ceremony yet another reinstall now works, go figure.

Update your phone. Failed to start with but after reading the reviews I realised I had an update to do on my phone. Worked fine then.

No sound this morning. I downloaded this app last night and straight away the abc radio started playing. This morning, when it mattered, I could not get the radio to play to hear ‘The Last Post’, which was kind of the whole point. Luckily we could hear the real thing from our driveway.

Disappointed. I set up the app the day prior to Anzac and it worked a treat . On Anzac morning got up early to make sure it was all in order . Even after reinstalling we still were unable to get it to work . Relied on channel 7 s coverage to get us through the service .

Didn’t work. I was up, standing in my driveway and unfortunately my app did nothing at all. Location setting and everything else was very simple, but when it came to 6am, nothing. It was very disappointing but I it’s the thought that counts in the end. God bless the ANZACS.

Looked good but didn't work when needed. Aw. It was working all the way up to last night but when we woke up for the ceremony it just had silence. Never mind. A good try to get something ready but maybe too many people on it at one time crashed it?? Luckily hubby had another radio app so we could tune onto the ABC.

Sound issue. When we first got the app the sound wasn’t working for us, So we just tapped the candle tried everything we could. It wasn’t working at all the candle went out and everything, We deleted the app and got it back but the same thing happen so we went into the app double clicked home button went to a different app and then went back into Anzac Day 2020 app and it worked (IPHONE ONLY)

Works for me. Easy to setup. Don’t know why others are having such an issue. I would suggest making sure you have the latest IOS installed. Deleted the APP. Restart your iPhone then reinstall then open again.

Didn’t work on the day. Downloaded this app the day before. Set up was easy & it seemed to work just fine. It was giving me a count down to the ceremony start time & playing the local ABC radio but on the day the candle lit at 5:30 but no radio. Couldn’t hear the ceremony at all. I closed down the app & restarted it & this time even the candle didn’t work, nothing. Ended up downloading the ABC radio app & listened to the ceremony on that. This app was a waste of time.

Stopped working. This app had worked beautifully all week leading up to ANZAC day 2020. Unfortunately the radio cut out right before the last post. So an absolute waste of time. Thank goodness the neighbour had the service playing on an ‘old fashioned’ radio and we could hear the service through that. Very disappointed and not an app I would recommend.

Map issues. Same issue as above tap on the map and it shuts down. I’m sure your can fix the bugs before Anzac Day will wait for an update . Thanks again what an amazing thing to do

Great idea, very disappointed.. Downloaded the app the night before ANZAC Day. Opened it at 0530 the next day, didn’t work at all. Deleted and re-downloaded it, still no change. Great idea but needs to be fixed. No sound, no animation, not worth downloading until it’s fixed. Streamed ABC radio instead but there was a delay so timing was very off.

Really disappointed. No sound. We stood at the end of our drive way & we missed the most of the service as there was no sound. Others in the street using the app had the same problem. Luckily our neighbour connected to ABC radio & turned the volume up so we could hear the last of it. Beyond disappointed

No Audio at the Dawn Service. I’m surprised this app isn’t already flooded with disappointed users as there was no sound throughout the whole service. No prayer. No Last Post😔. I gave one star for the fact the candle had a flame flickering. Lucky my neighbour had a service playing loud enough through another station.

Didn’t work. I finally got it to set up as it kept shutting off when it got to locations. Then this morning was ready, it says proceed to the driveway and nothing. I missed the beginning as I had to quickly switch from the app and find an alternative to listen to.

Lost audio. Downloaded the app and set location fine yesterday. On opening the app for this mornings service, there was no audio and we had to rely on the lady, across our street, to know what was going on. No settings options to change, despite saying connected to ABC Radio streaming. Did anyone else have this problem?

Not happy. Downloaded this, at first it didn’t work, couldn’t get past the location step. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled three times finally for it working. It woke me up to go to the driveway..... then nothing. I missed the whole lot, the poem, the ode everything. Not happy

extremely disappointed.. this app claimed it was going to play The Ode, sounding of The Last Post and a minute of silence etc but 6:00am came and nothing. all that happened was text appearing saying Lest We Forget and that’s it. disappointing. waited for 15 mins for something to happen and absolutely nothing. other than that one star simply because I respect this app for being created and the ability of choice of flag etc but was extremely disappointed as i was relying on this app for all these features and it didn’t deliver when it claimed it would. anyways, Lest We Forget.

Works perfect. Easy setup, suspect people having issues don't bother updating to the current ios

Wouldn’t have bothered!. We all tried to do the right thing then on the morning I was fiddling around on my phone trying to get sound. I felt like an inconsiderate brat during the minutes silence. Disappointed. Luckily our neighbours had a radio they rushed to get and some locals played the Last Post.

Rubbish. Downloaded Friday was working but come the morning it was needed all it did was tell me to go outside and the candle lit but it kept wanting a location although that was put in several times. The broadcast did not work I tried everything and I had to shut down and use a different app!

Sound didn’t work. I used this app this morning for ANZAC Day. The radio had been working when I turned it on but it had stopped at 5.30am.. Went out to my driveway and the sound hadn’t worked when the Ceremony had began and I had to use a radio service from my phone to hear the Ceremony I think this app would’ve got five stars if there was sound.

ANZAC Day 2020. Downloaded the app an hour ago and as soon as I click on “set your location”, it shuts down. Doesn’t work on my iPad, but checked my phone and it’s working perfectly. Unsure of why it doesn’t work on iPad!

Great concept ..... BUT. Great work however the app shuts down once device interface is closed or goes into sleep mode. The broadcast will not play in the background when screensaver comes on. Great effort to get this app up in time for ANZAC Day 2020. Lest We Forget.

Didn’t work on the day. App was working all week, up to evening before. On the morning of the service it didn’t work, app would open was just frozen no sound, no candle. Such a shame as it was a great concept. I had to resort to old fashioned radio.

Great idea but.... I downloaded the app to use today, ANZAC Day, but it didn’t work until after the whole this was over. Maybe it was overloaded. It is definitely a great idea but needs some work. Hopefully next year this will not be needed but if it is I hope it is fixed.

Map issue.. Just like the other 73%, I too have the same issue. An absolutely great initiative...💯. I had no issues what so ever downloading to my IPhone 6s, but had the same issue downloading to my iPad Air (A147). No progress past “location”, app instantly shuts down, & returns to home screen. Frustrating to say the least.

App just didn’t work when I needed to. App worked fine when I downloaded it. Went to use it Anzac Day morning and it would open but did nothing, no flame no sound. Shut it down and redownloaded it - same problem. Used my car radio instead. Opened it up at 10:30 and flame and radio worked...

Didn’t even work?. Woke up this morning to use the app, and I updated it and deleted and reinstalled etc and yet still couldn’t get any audio at all and no candle flame either so quite upset about this :( anyone else with same issue? Was just glad I still had my little transistor radio here at home so I could listen

Not able to set up the app yet.. Just downloaded the app today, and tried to open it but can’t get past the ‘set your location’ screen. The app just crashes and goes out of the app. I would appreciate some help to stop it crashing so that I can use it for Anzac Day 2020. Thanks for your hard work!

Cut out half way through the service!. Very disappointing. Downloaded without any issue yesterday. Worked well for 4 minutes during the service then dropped out and no matter what I did couldn’t get it to play again. We had a street full of neighbours out for the service and ended up having to complete it in silence

Disappointed. Purchased it late on 24th and after completing Timezone information it immediately hooked me in to the local ABC. When I opened it on 25th to participate in ‘Light Up The Dawn’ it stated we were connected when in fact we weren’t. I tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times to no effect. It eventually did connect us to the ABC but not until sometime around 6:15am when the ‘Light Up The Dawn’ service was already finished. My young children and I, who had gotten up early to participate, were very disappointed.

Beautiful. Stunning, worked first time for me. Software is up to date IPhone XR. One question, does the candle light up closer to the time or should I have one on standby. Well done

Love this .... Installed and set location without a problem. I altered the time/date on my phone to 0559 on 25/4...yes, I’m directed to move to the driveway. Was waiting for the pre recorded Ode and Last Post...but didn’t play??? Hoping it works on the day 👏🏻

It let me down. The app was working fine this morning at 5.30am this morning but the time it was really needed it let me down with pure silence. At 6am the candle lit up but with no last post, no bugle, no transfer to a memorial service and stayed silent for 5 minutes, when it returned to the radio broadcast it kept cutting out. My driveway attendance was there but it was solo. The app was a nice concept such a shame it failed, better luck next year.

Glad I didn’t rely on this. A great idea if only it worked. The candle function was lovely but there was no audio for myself or the other people in my neighbourhood who had downloaded the app in anticipation of 6am. Thankfully our local school played it over their PA system and other apps were more reliable. A shame.
