Oh my goodness. I love this game so much! I think that when your on the lower levels it is easy and when your higher it’s difficult and I love that part about it. I think you should definitely download this game! To people reading I know you think the adds are annoying but it is what keeps this game alive! I sometimes think that adds are good to because if i didn’t see an add I would have no idea about this AMAZING, AWESOME game! If you want a hard or easy trivia game this is definitely for you! I have never ever ever ever EVER had a problem with this game! I love it! Thank you for reading!

Very enjoyable. I have been enjoying this game for a few months now, up to level 870. Enjoying the various categories since I’m good at some and not others but there’s a lot of diversity. It is random that the Poetry category is mostly nursery rhymes but I can live with it since I know more nursery rhymes than poetry it seems. Some reviews so they have issues getting rewards for watching videos, if my reward doesn’t pop up after the first ad, I have been exiting and closing game app and then opening it again, which seems to do the trick. My only “complaint” or thing I’d like to see changed is that you should always gain coins for each round completed. Even if it’s only 25 or 50 coins, you should always be receiving more coins than you started, not just breaking even. I may get a reward multiplier chest greater than 2x less than a quarter of the time. That’s frustrating since you need the coins to increase the experts. I understand there may be a desire to have people purchase coins or watch ads but I think you could at least adjust it so you always earn at least a little more than 100 coins. Maybe just eliminate the 2x multiplier and let 3x be the smallest. Thanks for an enjoyable game!

Fun and great brain excersise. I truly Love this game as I am curious by nature however, I cant play for more than 30 minutes at a time. The worst part are the ads! You cant skip them unless you pay, and they play the same ones over and over. You have to be careful not to misspell the words, and the algorithms are not consistent as in you may get dinged even though you put in a correct word and got an X, it was revealed as one that you typed in. On the upside, I have typed in a word and it filled it in with the correct word. I would definitely play more if the ads weren't there every single round and the same ads over and over!

Fun game, but.... I’m really enjoying the game & I’ve been able to answer quite a few questions without using the different help options. After so long the game makes me use the help options saying not to forget they’re there & try them for free. I noticed when I select one of them when they say FREE, I’m still being charged diamonds!! My amount of diamonds decrease even though I was forced to use the help for “free”. This isn’t fair & it’s a little disappointing since I didn’t want or need to use any of the help lines available & I can’t figure out how to bypass them when the game is telling me to utilize them. That should always be my choice of I want to or not. If that could get fixed, I would definitely rate this game with more stars.

Impossible to Progress, without Gems. I had become addicted to this game. Thoroughly enjoyable. However, after reaching about a medium level, I found it impossible to go any further without using any gems, which are very quickly depleted. Almost every aspect of this game relies upon using gems, as opposed to coins— from choosing an extra category, to receiving a hint on an answer, to getting an extra spin. Furthermore, there is a “glitch” (is it really a glitch?), supposedly allowing you to watch videos, to freely earn a small number of gems... But after watching these videos, no gems are received!! I have the latest version of this game installed, so that has nothing to do with the “error”. The *only* way to obtain the gems is to buy them.....I have already laid down money once, in removing the ads...lI refuse to do it again. Why can’t the user occasionally exchange some of the amassed coins or stars, for the gems? And without accumulated gems, it is practically impossible to advance any further in the game. Too bad, because this is otherwise a wonderful app, and an entertaining pastime. Other suggestions: Where are the categories like spelling, grammar, and mathematics? ...or maybe I am just old fashioned..... Also, how about classic TV and films, and classical music categories? ....Way too many “pop culture” entries from the year 2000 and up—at least for this user.

Good but not great. The app has the potential to be great but unfortunately after every single game you have to watch an ad. If you could make it after every time you move to the next avatar it would be a lot better. Right now it is so many ads that it makes you want to want to stop playing so you don’t have to look at them. 3 stars as is. 5 if you fix the ads. Ok so got a response from the app which I already knew. They put the ads in so it can be free. Not a problem. I don’t have a problem with a free game with ads but constant ads is problem and that is why you do it. To annoy people into paying it to stop. That is why the game will stay 3 stars. When all it would have taken was less ads not no ads.

The game keeps crashing and I’m losing coins each time.. I really enjoy this game and would have rated it five stars, however today,In the middle playing once the Last question is answered correctly, the screen freeze. I would then close the game and upon retuning it does not allow me to open the chest to collect the coins, it takes me directly to the main screen to add 100 more coins to continue playing, when the coins are added it takes me back to the last correct answer that I selected in the previous game. This happened three times. Which totaled 300 coins not to mention the additional bonus coins I could have earned. Please fix this glitch and refund me the lost coins. I’m currently stuck on level 396. With only 57 coins left.

The best trivia app I’ve ever played!!. It’s the only one I’ve ever kept on my tablet for more than 2 days. It’s a winner and it’s fun. That leads me into the one complaint I have about the game. Your score is based on how quickly you answer the questions. Sometimes one or more of the answers to choose from cracks me up and makes me laugh. Although the sense of humor is greatly appreciated and refreshing, it slows me down and therefore affects my score. EDIT: I’ve come across a situation that I believe should be changed. When you miss an answer, you’re presented with a heart you’ve accumulated. Play the heart and get another chance. Sounds great. Except you’re not given the option to use it or not. If it’s the first or second question, it would be a waste to use it. Save it for the time when you can use it for a much higher rated question to give you a better chance of finishing the quiz. DEVELOPERS: Please give consideration to this change. Thx

Seemed ok. It seemed ok to start with plenty of trivia questions in different categories. Over time though you begin to need to answer more questions to beat the levels and that feature just doesn’t make sense to me. Sure maybe make that increase as you go up levels in that category like answering 6 questions on a level 5 category, but if you leave categories low because you don’t know them well it makes no sense to make you answer 6 questions when you haven’t leveled that category up at all. My biggest complaint is with the tournaments. I was gold III for one… exited the game around an hour before end time and I was 6th place… come back on after that tournament ended… next one started and I’m down to silver II… I have trouble imagining that I dropped down from 6 to the bottom 10 when I’d been in the top 10 most of the tournament and even if I did why did I drop 2 levels. It makes no sense. Seriously considering deleting between the frustration with that ad needing to answer more and more questions in areas I don’t know.

Meh. I really wanted to like this game. It has some great aspects of it. The reason I’m leaving a 2 star review is because of how money hungry the company who makes this game seems. You obviously have people spending real life money on it, so why do you feel the need to spam ads. After you complete the 3-5 questions. Depending on the category you choose. You are then forced to watch an ad, and it’s not your normal ads that play for a few seconds, then let you skip. No you click skip, then have to close out your iTunes, or google play whichever OS your using. Then have to wait again to skip the ad again. All together you’re closing the ad 3 times, then being bombarded with “deals” to try and get you to spend more real money. You can bug VIP, but all that does is get rid of the ads. You’ll still end up spending loads of money because they use diamonds to be able to re roll, or ask an expert, or 50/50 split. These are the reasons why I’ll be deleting this game, and not recommending it to others. The desperation for people to spend money ruins the whole game experience for what otherwise would be a fantastic trivia game.

Too much going on/ rude email for leaving review. There’s too much going on with this game. All of if it mostly revolves around paying for the game. Also, though you have the option of silencing ads, they’re definitely not silent. As the developer pointed out, though there is an option to silence ads, that really just means turning the volume off on your phone. So make sure you remember to turn it back up when you close the app. Toggling on the option to silence is just for show, unlike other games with a functional option to silence ads. It further adds to the annoyance of playing this game. After I left this (now edited) comment I got a super snide email from the developer. For some odd reason it was addressed to my brother. They basically apologized for the game being too complex. As though I wasn’t smart enough to play. I said there’s way too much going on. It was super annoying. Too much trying to charge you for features. The actual trivia is as easy as could be often with typos. The developers are rude. The game is way too busy.

Too Many Advertisements, Too difficult at high level. If you are going to force us to endure repetitive 30 second adds, at least make a variety. The seemingly endless “Project Makeover” and “Royal …..” not to mention the weight loss advertisements which are extremely annoying. I’ve reached level 1649 and the questions are so obscure and difficult that you cannot progress. They also increased the amount of gems required to continue a category from 50 to 100 making it nearly impossible to complete a series of 7 questions. Gems are awarded very stingely, so it’s almost impossible to progress. I am about done with this game at this point. Game has also become very buggy. It’s nearly impossible to earn additional gems now because you constantly receive the message that you need to watch the entire video, when you haven’t even watched any.

Horribly boring after little time. This is a kids version for the most part as far as trivia goes. Answer after answer of dull, poorly written questions(as with many sites trying to appease the American audience and don’t do a very good job writing or even fact checking). Their “costumer service” is terrible and has taken as long as their “season”(weekly) to even respond, and still their response(s) is the regular computer generated response even if a real person may have sent it, rarely fixing any of its many problems or compensating correctly for issues you may have, even if you PAYED (unfortunately) to be “VIP”-which, btw, is $3.99 PER WEEK! And that’s for a lame site! I confess I did it a couple times just to help dominate a week here and there. I am just so tired of the problems here and honestly a bit embarrassed I even played this bad example of a trivia game, there are many MUCH better!!!!

Decent game, small issues. Decent trivia game. Trivia seems to be very varied. For example, some questions basically contain the answer whereas other questions have confusing answers that are borderline incorrect. Here are a couple examples of what causes frustrations: 1. I just logged in. Decided to play the “Question of the day”. After selecting the button, I get a pop up that informs me I am low on diamonds, and if I’ll watch the ad video I’ll receive 15 diamonds. At completion of the video, I do get the diamonds but also get informed I timed out on answering the question of the day. I never even saw the question nor had an opportunity to answer due to the game pop ups. 2. Alliances are super frustrating. I joined one (mainly to avoid being asked repetitively) and on average I see six people (out of 30?) play any given week. I continually boot any non-active members but it takes several weeks of inactivity to get listed as inactive. Update - March 29: I’ve come across another source of frustration that really grinds my gears: if you spend diamonds for “Ask an expert”, there are times none of the three experts are available. But you don’t get a refund on the diamonds you spent, nor is it possible to know in advance.

I like trivia but…. Ok I was liking the game till I was trying to play with my kids on a question as we were breaking it down so they could guess the answer we were getting ready to push the answer and it timed out and told us incorrect. So sorry some of us would rather use the game to play with our kids. I do not appreciate that it times out. Otherwise I would not have downloaded, I just thought this would be fun to play with the kids to strike up conversations which it did until it timed out and with my anxiety disorder timers are bad and induce panic. So fun game except won’t be able to play because of the timer that doesn’t even show there’s a timer.

Great trivia app. I really enjoy this game mainly because it isn’t “competition” based. I am not the most competitive person and like testing my knowledge more than winning. I also like that the categories are more fun and not about really serious topics. For example, the categories include “Brands”, “Disney”, “Food”, as well as “Basketball” and “Capital Cities”. I enjoy games that test or have to do with pop culture. It’s nice just to see how many I can get correct; the points you get from answering questions correctly and other aspects of the game are just a bonus. Definitely recommend to someone who is more into having fun.

Incorrect answers, expensive gems, Too many categories I didn’t like. I have been playing this trivia game for several months now. Until recently, I have not had any trouble earning coins. But now the categories are so not me that I’m losing coins. The gems are so time-consuming to earn for free by watching the ads, so I can’t spend them re-rolling questions or 50-50 or re-rolling the category. All the questions in the birds category have to do with the Latin names of birds and bird body parts. All the questions in the poetry category are nursery rhymes!! There have been so many incorrect answers where I lose my game because I got it “wrong”. I really don’t know where they get their questions because so many are so random and abstract I get very frustrated getting all the incorrect answers. The mythology category is so difficult you have to know india and Norse and a lot of mythology’s that most people aren’t familiar with. I finally got so fed up tonight with an incorrect answer and the fact that I had to spend hundreds of coins to try to earn a special Sunday gem earning opportunity that I just got mad and deleted the program.

Tournament problems. I’m getting ready to delete this game, even though I really like it. I would have given it 5 stars at first, but not any more. The problem is the tournaments. This is my favorite part of the game. I put in time and effort to climb the leaderboard, get 1st place, and advance to the next higher level of the tournament. But I cannot get past the Silver 1 level, even though I get first place. This has happened multiple times!! Let me paint a picture for you. This is what happened last night. I’m on the Silver 1 level, I work hard, use my coins and rubies, build a huge lead. I check on it a few minutes before the tournament is over, and see that my huge lead remains. Then I go to bed. This morning, I check on it. The game congratulates me on getting first place. I receive my prizes. I’m feeling good. Finally, I’m moving on to Gold levels! I click the tournament button to begin, and I see that I’ve been demoted to Silver 3. Why? The game told me I won!!!!! I’m so angry. I’m angry because I like the game, because I want the game to work properly. I’m angry because of all the wasted hours! There is either a glitch in the game, or there are not enough people playing it to have Gold levels and beyond. Either way, I’m upset, and I’m not going to waste any more time on this game.

Great Game! Just One Complaint…. I love this game and I have a lot of fun with it. However, I find it very annoying that when you get one answer wrong, you’re not allowed to keep answering the rest of the questions. I would prefer to get the answer wrong and break my streak, but still be allowed to finish the quiz and answer the rest of the questions. Maybe if there was a points system instead of having to answer ALL the questions right in order to move to the next level and getting cut off after just ONE wrong answer. Other than that, I enjoy the game. I learn new things and also find out I knew more than I thought when I correctly guess an answer. It helps keep the mind active.

I’m Speechless. I normally do not write reviews but I’ve never seen a game where you have to spend the coins you earn to play the next level. Also, I refuse to make a purchase to remove ads. Most games and apps there is a one time fee to remove ads forever. This game wants you to make a purchase to remove the ads. Ridiculous. I refuse. In addition, other games do NOT have an ad after every 4 quick little easy questions. The ads are SO annoying that I’m on Level 3 and am deleting the game. I’ve watched more ads playing this for an hour (at most) than any other game ever. I have games I’ve had for several years and play daily and have not paid to remove ads nor am I subjected to more than 1 ad a day. It’s also extremely easy, like for a child easy.

Not enough incentive to win or subscribe to VIP. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game. It’s super fun and you are not pressured to spend money to play. That being said, if you get to the “Master’s” level (tier) your only reward is 120 gems. You can easily earn that amount by watching ads. You can only use that 120 for getting a new question twice. That’s a pathetic reward. Also, if you subscribe to the “VIP” weekly or monthly subscription, you pay a PREMIUM PRICE for little reward. You only get 150 gems a day and your personal multiplier is multiplied by two. And why would I pay so much money and get so little in return??? I would expect for that price to get at least 1,000 gems a day and some COINS to spend, which btw, you NO COINS if you subscribe to VIP. None. No coins. Zero.

I like it. I’ve been playing this game for awhile now and I like it. You can earn gems from ads which doesn’t bother me to watch them while I’m having my morning coffee then a few more later, if I use some gems I pad the use with a ad or two no big deal. I have found some questionable answers mainly in the sport stars nicknames category and I’ll start to send in suggestions to them in the future. Speaking of that they have great support and I’ve always received timely answers from them if I don’t find an answer to me question in their FAQ’s and if you think you’ve been shorted coins or gems they’ll make sure to cover it and sometimes they’ll give you a few extra, nice!

Great game but buggy. This game is a lot of fun to play, but the various defects really take the joy out of it. 1) Multiple times I completed a tournament in 1st place. When I selected Tournament, I received a msg that results were being tallied and to check back. I waited a few minutes and got same msg. Left the game and returned. No tournament results, and I was automatically added to a new tournament. No winnings for 1st place. 2) Again, multiple times in individual games, I don’t receive the coin / gem rewards. I’ve tried waiting a few seconds before clicking the Rewards button but still receive inconsistent results. Sometimes works fine. 3) Most recently, the app changed my profile image to another selection. After I changed the image, next time I launched the game, a previous profile image was displayed. Frustrating because as I said, it’s really a fun game when it works as designed.

Very easy & WAY too many Ads!!!. You’d have to be really living under a rock to not get most of the answers to these questions in any category in a second. Really. It was fun for a little while even though it was super easy, and I would have honestly kept playing just for fun, but there is, no exaggeration, a 30+ second Ad after EACH very short set of 3 questions. Each set of 3 questions takes LESS than a minute to answer, so that’s a 30 second Ad, basically EVERY MINUTE. That is just way too many Ads. I play a lot of free games, and Ads are expected (that is of course how the game is “free”) but the cost of my time watching a 39 second Ad literally every minute, is just not worth the fun of this easy game, so deleted it had to be. If you slowed down your ads to one every 5 minutes, that would be at least be a bearable improvement (maybe). Other than the fact that it will take you forever to get ahead in this easy game, simply because there are so many ads, it was fun. Don’t be so greedy, guys. You have to strike a balance between making money from Ads and not having SO MANY Ads that you loose your audience.

Bye - some wrong answers, some trick questions, watch videos to earn gems that you don’t receive. If asked what apparel company produces shoes with a check mark logo and one of the options was Nike, would you choose it? I didn’t. I guessed something else and got it wrong. The Nike emblem is a swoosh, not a check mark. Some of the answers are downright wrong and some questions are trick with ambiguous answer choices. Some questions are terribly written. Gems allow you to continue if you answer incorrectly. If you get low on gems, you can watch videos to earn 15 gems at a time. I watched several videos and my gem count never increased. Mid game, I was asked to review. I made a comment about the gems. I was offered a FAQ response that said to wait 10 - 15 seconds between videos to earn gems. I did that and still never received gems. If gems = lives, there needs to be a better way to earn them because waiting time watching videos doesn’t do it and even if it did, waiting in between is no fun when playing a game.

Frustrating. I play this every morning and found it enjoyable. However earning gems to continue a game was a pain. But now it’s worse instead of 50 gems you need 100 gems to continue if you make a mistake. This requires watching 7 videos to get enough free gems. Its obvious you are trying to force players to buy gems instead of watching videos. But those of us who don’t want to purchase gems get frustrated with the game and may quit playing all together at some point. I play as long as I have coins to pay for a game and when there gone I stop playing and wait for the next day when I get more free coins. If you want players to continue you either need the reduce the required gems back to 50 or increase the number of gems you get to watch a video.

Going South. At first I loved this game. Great questions and developers have just enough sidebar distractions to keep it interesting. But the whole gems thing to keep playing or get help has become annoying. The ads are too long and at times get stuck, especially the Royal King junk games. Lately I can only get free gems once and it gets stuck in between Get Free Gems and watch Another Video, never allowing me to watch another video. Today, I watched and the game never showed the Collect Gems bar. It forces me to Lose Streak and pay extra coins to keep going. Very frustrating. Also the idea that your streak count in actual numbers stops after 100 is disheartening. Who wouldn’t like to know how many they got right in a long running streak? I play games to relax not get wound up and frustrated. Thanks.

Game is FUN but gem stones don't always appear. I actually love this game but I am a little perturbed by the fact that my gem stones don't always appear after watching video specifically for that purpose. This is usually not realized until the offer of watching a video for 30 gem stones is taken advantage of. Please fix this glitch so that we are able to enjoy the game at the full capacity. ------------------------------------------------- New issue: App continues to freeze when attempting to get free gem stones. ------------------------------------------------- I was provided a link via an email response to my complaint that leads to the same page as the App Support link which is a screen that reads "Page Not Found". Please forward my concern to the tech department since I am unable to do so, as this remains a recurrent problem. ------------------------------------------------- This problem persists and continues to get worse I am now unable to get free gems when notified that I do not have enough gems to pay for an alternate category. The app crashes and forces me restart and use more coins only to get the same error in effect causing me to waste coins. As previously stated the App support link reroutes to a page that reads "Page Not Found". Please fix this bug.

New to the app. I really enjoy the questions along with the different categories. Since my family is located in different states, we have joined a team together so we can encourage each other while staying in touch. I wish I could keep my character across devices. At home I like to play on my tablet, but outside of the house I play on my phone. I have discovered the progress does not sync across the devices. I hope this is something that will be available in future updates. Until then, I will continue to play as two separate people on each device.

Glitches. Maybe glitches, maybe intentional? It’s hard to earn enough points to play. Endless ads, fewer coins awarded per game than it “costs” to play per game. To get more coins you must purchase them with actual money or watch ad after ad after ad. Then when you’ve accumulated enough coins to play for awhile, the game happily takes your coins but won’t load a game. I more than paid for those coins with my time! On my last time playing I had earned 3,000 coins but somehow ended up with less than 2,000 without ever playing a game! Also, it offers a button to press to earn coins or jewels, (another tool), and then won’t respond when you click it. The game seems to learn what categories you are good at and doesn’t offer those as choices, only the categories you don’t like to choose, making you use up your hard-earned jewels to re-spin for new categories. Overall, this game is not worthy your time and effort. Much required for little return.

Too Easy, Too Slow to Progress, Too Many Ads. If your app has ads AND pay to win aspects you’ll always lose a star from me. Don’t say there’s no alternative. Hearthstone is free to play, NO ADS, and makes BANK from people buying (optional) card packs. I see that there’s a way to pay for ads to go away which is nice, except for the fact that your app has a MULTITUDE of other “pay to win” facets. If it was just “pay to get rid of ads” that’d be fair. But whose paying to earn in game currency when all it does is help you on (VERY easy) questions? I played for 10 minutes and the difficulty ranged between “What color is a polar bear” to “What Disney movie is Hercules from?”. I’d estimate based on your apps means revenue, and it’s simple to follow functionality, that you make a lot of your income from kids using their parents credit cards. If that’s the case I hope these parents know what they’re losing their money on. If I were them I’d buy them a Jackbox game and call it a day. 1/5 stars.

ADS ARE ANNOYING BECAUSE THE PROGRAMMERS REFUSE TO MIND THEIR BUSINESS. These are NOT SOCIAL APPLICATIONS, NOT ONLINE CHAT GROUPS AND THE COMMENTS OF THESE TECHS, CODERS OR PROGRAMMERS WAS NEVER ASKED—- whatever these techs call themselves. Yet these techs use the ads to talk to me when I AM NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR TALK! These techs are sneaky they gravitate too much to insults and negativities hiding behind this technology their awful stinking unacceptable attitudes. WORST IS THEY FOOL DEVELOPERS INTO BELIEVING USE ADVERTISEMENTS WITHOUT LETTING DEVELOPERS KNOW THE TRUTH THAT THEY INTEND TO USE THE ADS TO HARASS, TO ANNOY INDIVIDUALS/ ME. They INTENT TO FOOL ME, MEAN ATTACKS. THE ONES DOING THIS NEED TO GO ASK IBM, STEVE JOBS COMPANY TO EMPLOY THEM IN A CHAT GROUP SINCE THEY REFUSE TO SHUTUP THROUGH non- chat applications. I do not need any techs using ads/ ADVERTISINGS to express their feelings or advice. I DON’T NEED ANY DISCUSSIONS, Ads are not for DISCUSSION NOR FOR HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT ME! MIND YOUR BUSINESS I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOU SO DETACH FROM ME AND YOUR DELUSIONAL BEHAVIORS ! THAT’s THE PROBLEM WITH THESE ADS!

Used to be fun. Hubby and I loved this and played it together. But now we are having to get 8 right to win a category and frankly the questions can be difficult so we now only get through some of the times. I had no issue with watching an ad between games but as of this evening we can’t even play without watching endless videos or paying a fee. Sadly turning it off and not sure when we will be back. This is a shame as we enjoyed it while it lasted. Would only rank as 3 stars maximum now. It previously was a 5 star app so averaged it out to 4 stars.

One recurring problem. I really enjoy this game. Really. And then the screen freezes. I first thought it was my old iPad, but have since found it happens on my brand new iPad. Usually, if I close it out and open the game in a few hours, it has cleared and I can take up where I left off. So, annoying but not insurmountable. However, one time, on my newest iPad, the game would not reset, not even after four days. I had to delete and reload, losing all my stars, gems, coins….my progress. That was quite annoying! Other that that occasional glitch, I have loads of fun with Trivia.

Not bad but has a few glitches. Fun game for trivia buffs but I have a few issues. First, references to weight, volume and temp need to also refer to the English standard (pound, Fahrenheit, etc). Also, when the category is specific like science, a question that is about a character in a movie that did something scientific is NOT science but ACTING. Ditto with history, etc. Also, I noticed if I already chose to play and paid 100 coin, and then I decide to check on my league before I choose the category, if I return to the screen where I choose the category I have to pay 100 coin again. This happens in multiple places and I shouldn’t be penalized for leaving the screen since you have buttons for us to switch screens and you don’t warn us about it costing more coin to return. Also if I had watched ads to get free gems I can’t get a free help upgrade or coin. One last suggestion is to add coin to VIP perks. That’s the only reason why I’m not in it now. Not sure why I want stars as it doesn’t seem to serve any purpose did rather get coin and gems as part of the VIP

Game not fun. Abandoned. I saw an ad for this game and gave it a shot. I launched the game and immediately got a 30-second ad. Then I answered 3 insipidly easy questions, watched another ad and, as a bonus, got to spend an additional half-minute trying to exit the ad. Annoyed, I went thru a few more answer-3-simple-questions-and-watch-long-ad cycles. Then I was prompted to buy gems and the ad-free version. All the while, there had been a permanent banner cycling ads at the bottom of the screen. In total, I spent 20-30 seconds actually playing and 5+ minutes watching ads and trying to exit from ads. I've given up. This game might turn out to be awesome but I'll never know because I've already deleted it. Why can't developers let you the use an app for 10 or 15 hassle-free minutes so you can determine if (a) you like it, and (b) its worth paying for?

Frustrating. I’ve only been playing for a few weeks and while I enjoy it I also find it very frustrating as well. It’s too difficult to earn gems and I refuse to pay for them. Every day or two I have to watch 20 ads or so to get enough to make playing the game worthwhile. As someone else said, there are not enough rewards either. When you complete a round you should earn some gems, not lose them all in the process of getting there. You get a one-step forward, two-step back feeling playing this game. The categories are either too easy or too difficult, and there’s a big emphasis on sports or “culture,” neither of which as a senior I enjoy. I haven’t deleted this game yet, but as a person who loves word games and does enjoy trivia, I’m thinking this won’t end up being a keeper for me, unfortunately.

Finally Deleted for Good. I have given this app shot after shot because there are limited trivia games out there to choose from that aren’t inane. But I am finally deleting for good. Too many issues - when you get up in the higher levels, the questions are ridiculously obscure and impossible to answer (e.g. who won the South African amateur golf championship in 2012) and in some cases I have found the app to be wrong!! Which costs you. I get that they want you to use gems and promote purchases, but come on…..Then when I reached well into level 9 in a few of the categories, and I’m answering and I am answering question 3 out of the 7, I get a message that says “you have reached the end of questions in this category” and it just takes me back to the Home Screen. I’m sorry….what??? And right in the middle of a session where I have already used gems and am in need of a finished round for a tournament or something. Bottom line, it’s kinda fun in the beginning but will quickly become infuriating as you progress through the higher levels. The obscurity of the questions and the volatility of the “experts” answering just makes this app go from relaxing to throw-your-phone-out-of-the-window frustrating. I want an app for relaxation and challenge not to illicit rage from me.

Heavy Losses. Like most games this one gets progressively harder, as should be, but here’s the kicker and the big reason I a really beginning to despise this game: Run out of coins and it’s time to go to the purchase screen to get more! Don’t want to spend your hard earned cash on coins or gems? Time to watch 7 ads, yes 7 (as it takes 100 coins to play and it gives you x15 coins after a video) just to get 1 extra chance to not fail another set of questions. Didn’t get them all correct? It’s right back to watching ads again! This game makes you abhor getting anything wrong! As if the constant bombardment of ads after a play through isn’t bad enough… x15 coins for 1 video? …and there’s like 3 total variations on them as it is! No thanks! Quickly going into the trash and off my phone!

Meh... dead-ends you unless you pay out cash. First, I do enjoy the concept and was excited about the app-even spent some money at the beginning to get things rolling. BUT, after playing for a couple of days, I’ve discovered this game is super buggy. Also, less of a deal breaker, but annoying, are the abundant grammatical and spelling errors in this app, I’m embarrassed for the developers. Also, when I finally ran out of coins and didn’t want to buy more, I tried to take them up on the offer to “Earn more coins” by watching ads, supposedly at 25 coins per ad. I wasted my time watching ads 8 different times and was awarded a grand total of ZERO coins. So, I either lay down some more real world money or the app is completely useless and at a dead end. My opinion? Don’t waste your time. There are other trivia apps that are better written, less glitchy and don’t dead-end you into a manipulation for $$.

Two star review. I am giving this a low review for two reasons. 1). Too many adds. And they’re long. I answer saquearían and get ads. There is a thing called “too much ads” and you’ve exploited that. I will therefore delete the app. 2) the game is too busy. I have to continually click buttons to get coins and there’s too much information on one screen. It’s confusing. But I did have to say the games itself is not too bad. The questions have been easy so far. But I don’t want to click continue after each question. This becomes tedious. If these little issues were dealt with I wouldn’t mind buying the game. It’s just too much clicking. I test software for a living and I check functionality and to see how easy it is to use. That’s why i gave it a low rating. Fix it and I’ll retest it and change my review. And I can’t have an ad every 30 seconds. No one would play this game due to that issue alone. We’d get frustrated too quickly.

Initially fun but then very difficult to win coins to play.. It is way too difficult to win coins. One round costs 100 coins to play. If you win it you usually end up getting your 100 coins back no more. If you lose, you forfeit the 100 coins. Once I got into the higher levels I lost 10,000 coins in a matter of two days. I tried gaining more coins by watching commercials but as with the end of round picks I got the lowest amount possible, 10 coins, so I have to watch 10 commercials to get enough coins for one round and then lose that round in a matter of seconds, forfeiting the couns. I’m not being paid to play this game, I’m trying to play it for entertainment. It’s no longer entertaining, so I’m uninstalling. DO NOT TRY TO TELL ME TO CONTACT SUPPORT! This is obviously not a glitch in the game, it’s just blatant greed.

Costly but fun. It began great then the more you play, the more it cost! Gems are a intricate part of the game and it’s almost impossible to earn them. You can watch “free” ads to gain gems but only after you have already paid coin to play that round. The ads often freeze and you must close the app and re-open it which cost more coin. Now the good thing is with every completed round you earn coin, coins not gems which are crucial. The questions are equally difficult and easy. It’s fun but it’ll cost ya! 🤔 Update: now instead of being able to earn 2x, 3x or up to 5x the coin, you ONLY give 150 coins for each win. Costing 100 coins each time you play. Doesn’t take much to see you are trying to gouge us. The smaller amount of coins won is nothing compared to what it’s costing us to play.

Glitch?. I was enjoying the game a lot, especially league play. 2 things really weird started happening. 1) I can only play 100 coins 1x…. The other options like 400 coins 10x button is no longer available to me. 2) There is a boy/ player called Tender Baron and he is a leader that I did not assign that role to. I kick him and he comes back right away with leader capabilities again. If these aren’t fixed asap, I am deleting the game. I have been playing this game quite a bit for the last few months. I’m wondering if this is a glitch or trivia stars is penalizing me for some reason. I would love to see a response from the the trivia star people. … And yes, I did fill out a ticket but didn’t hear anything back from them.

Glitches. I love this game, great trivia too. I don’t want to pay to play a game so when I watch ads to gain enough points to play it freezes and when I’m half way through or have only one or two more answers to go it makes you start all over and or uses to much coins. Every time you have to go back in it takes 100 coins and it’s impossible to catch back up cause it keeps taking 100 coins when it freezes or glitches. It doesn’t let you go back in where you left off it starts you back over after you’ve already paid for the round. It gets discouraging after a while. If this continues after my coins run out I’m deleting app.

Need more ways to earn coins. I recently discovered this game, and I really enjoy it! I purchased the “no ads” version for $.99, and I’m glad I did. However, it seems that earning coins is nearly impossible. I can watch ads to earn gems, but not coins. Even if I can answer 4/5 questions in a round correctly, I don’t get any coins, and most times, the multiplier is not enough to get ahead. In order to get more coins, it seems I would need to purchase them, and I would simply like to be able to earn them. This app is fun, and the questions are challenging. I would love more opportunities to earn coins.

Trivia. Very fun game that actually plays as advertised. Many of these games advertise one way then when you download them they are nothing like what you thought you were getting. This game is fun, starts off easy and gets more challenging and has multiple fun trivia categories and fun ways to get coins and points. No glitches either. The only thing that I think is worth it is getting rid of the ads. Once you see if you like the actual game I got rid of the ads for a 4.99 one time fee. WELL worth no interruptions! I have actually ditched some of my other games on my tablet and find myself always playing this at the end of the night. LOVE IT!! You don’t have to be a genius because there’s always ways where you can get hints. But it’s challenging enough for people that are actually very smart and don’t need the hints that they are challenged as well the further and further along you get in the game.

Ridiculous questions in some categories. It’s obvious one of the creators is a huge Kendrick Lamar fan. R&B... Kendrick Lamar, Pop... Kendrick Lamar, Hip Hop... Kendrick Lamar, 2010’s music... Kendrick Lamar! How does Kendrick Lamar fit in all of those categories? I’m not a Kendrick Lamar fan and I know none of his music but last I heard he was a rapper only. When I click on R&B or pop I want to answer R&B and pop questions not questions about Kendrick Lamar, his first album or the latest movie soundtrack he’s done. It’s not fair. I also hate how when I click on Disney I get asked questions about what symphony or orchestra played in the background of Pinocchio or dumbo. What child or anyone who watches Disney movies look to see what orchestra plays in the background of their favorite Disney film!? It’s like the more you play, the more ridiculous the questions become.

Root of ads. This is one of those annoying pop up ads you get in all the other ad spamming games you play, I recommend downloading it Just to leave a rating, you can’t rate it if you haven’t at least downloaded it, and that’s what they want you to do after all, download their crap, play it and after a few incentivized games get your superficial rating of approval or excellence before you grow bored of it and forget it occupies space, well do the world a favor and rank it poorly first and provide a review, you can even copy and paste this on any app that qualifies, download this just to rank it poorly cause you hate ads too. Don’t forget to close the ad on the pages you see them on and flag them as undesired and/or seen all to often. Then avoid any purchases from ads shared by these advertisers as well. Stop the inflation of the products production cost by kissing these annoyances goodbye. Saying goodbye to the invasive artificial intelligence that monetize your value and profit from that investment in your privacy invasion. Telling em all where to shove it and offering the icy hot for lube.

Good game. I don’t know what others think but I like this game and just like any other game you probably will have to spend a lil here and there...however you do get free gems and coins and I haven’t had a problem getting my free gems or coins you will only get so many a day so keep that in mind...game is easy at first but the higher the levels the harder it gets but it hasn’t been to bad..some answers are in the question and some aren’t but..helps pass time and I find it fun learn to use your gems and free miss thing as it resets every 15 mins and you can wait between answers if you want...overall this is a good game I never leave reviews but I wanted to for this game

Could be better. If you close the app during an ad the game charges you double the coins for the next level. Quite annoying.

Gems don’t come through. Frequently I watch videos to earn extra gems and frequently they don’t come through. Today I watched 3 videos and nothing came through! A bit of a con!

Don’t wast your time.. All goes well for a while, and it is quite enjoyable, but then you can’t progress without spending money, and all the adds kick in. It soon becomes unplayable unless you are willing to spend money. Supposedly a free game. Just another con I’m afraid.

Way too many ads. The game and trivia questions are enjoyable but they are over shadowed by the many lengthy ads. I understand some ads are to be expected but 30+ second ads eventually makes you lose interest in the game.

Disappointing. Well I persevered with this to over 100 games, poetry category is mostly about nursery rhymes, travel category includes questions about American travel booking sites, mythology only seems to go as far as Greece. Heavy USA bias, poorly constructed questions and many sports categories finished me off.

Ruined by ads. I was disappointed at how much the ads spoil this game. I love trivia and it’s a fun little game, and I do understand that a free game will have ads. However the ads are very frequent, long and not quickly skippable - also the same one over and over and over. I was enjoying the game but so frustrated I’m about to delete the app. The game itself deserves more stars.

About the game. It is quite fun as I love trivia stuff, but I don’t like having to pay to redo a level if you fail or how you have to pay $100 in the gam just to answer 3 questions. But the game is not that bad just needs a little updating.

Annoying. Way TOO MANY adds. You have to sit through adds after every game. Spent more time watching adds than playing the game. Takes too many jewels to play 1 single game causing you to sit through more adds in order to build up the jewels to play more games. I’m new to this app and was excited to download and play it but after 45mins of sitting through adds I got fed up. I deleted the app.

Rigged winning multipliers. Such a great game but it’s a shame that the winning multipliers are rigged to hit 2x about 90% of the time, it’s clearly not random or chance. The fact it costs 100 coins per game and you mainly only win 100 coins back makes the game unviable, especially as there is no way of gaining more coins except by using real money. I get that you need to make a profit but you get that with the adds. Please change the multiplier to random and it will be the best game in the apple store

Only advertising. Questions are geared towards making you connect with brands. Don’t bother with this if you want a legitimate trivia game

Wrong answer?. I am enjoying Trivia Star however, one of your questions asked which country has the “official” language of Gaelic? The correct answer is Ireland however this was not an option and Scotland was your “correct” answer. Gaelic is regarded as only a minor language in Scotland. Also players beware……the questions are US based so, words are either spelt incorrectly or you won’t have heard of it unless you’ve travelled to the US - eg: - “S’mores”?

Ho-hum outside the US. This is a fun game and I really enjoy the non-US focused categories, but sometimes the US categories are hard to avoid, eg the time I got baseball, US football and TV, all of which you need to be living in the US to answer. But to roll new categories, you have to spend resources. It would be good to offer alternatives for non-US players so we’re not disadvantaged

Great trivia game. I am a sucker for good trivia games and thoroughly enjoy this app despite the questions being mainly American based my only gripe is that you can only have one life at time

Trivia. This Game is good but is unfair. For example I answer the Two Day Questions and obtain correct answers. Then I am Blocked out to continue to Play. I have had enough and shall be Deleting unless some fairness is shown.

Too many ads. The ads are far too frequent so I’m uninstalling after only playing for about 10 minutes. Many of the categories are very Americanised so too hard for me - even the easy levels.

Incorrect answers. Several answers I know I got correct like the closest nation to the east of Australia is New Zealand which I ticked as all the others were Europe et al and it said I was wrong. The villain in 101 Dalmatians is Cruella de Vil which I chose and it said I got that wrong too... So what gives? Not only are the ads really annoying and you rarely get the option to get rid of them for. 24 hours by watching even more of them but far too many topics and questions are orientated towards the US. Several of my friends stopped playing this game and deleted it for similar reasons and I don’t blame them as I’m now seriously considering deleting the game myself...Finally deleted game as wasted to much time watching ads for gems which never got. I reckon the game owed me about 500 in the end and because of this I never got to answer the question of the day because by the time I was able to access the screen and read the question it said my answer was wrong and I hadn’t even answered it. I’d give this game one star now...

Answers are wrong. I usually like trivia games when it done fairly. I got a question wrong which was right. The question was - which is the US most southerly state? I chose Florida. It was wrong according to who wants to be a millionaire, their answer was Hawaii. Lost my ranking and coins. This is not the only time they got it wrong. I tried to contact support but the link is broken. This game is also quite American which means the question will be related to the US not globally. Stay away!

Great trivia quiz. Totally enjoying the range of questions however the game is focused on USA subjects in some of the categories. Too bad if you are from another country as some of the answers don’t come as easily, still it’s a good game- thanks

Stars?. While the game does have a lot of ads and, yes, a lot of questions are US-centric, it’s still a fun time-waster. I like the fact that you have a choice of genre for each set of questions, as it means that I can avoid topics I’m either not interested in, or not very good at! I also like that you get a free life every so often, and that if you run out of gems, you don’t have to buy them with real money; you can just watch a couple of ads to earn more gems. I do have one question about the stars you collect - do they actually serve a purpose? Can you exchange them for anything, or are they just there for decoration?

WRONG. This app is sooooooo WRONG. It was good until I got to the question ‘what petrol station company has a marine creature as their logo’. The options were shells, and a couple other I can’t remember because I am so enraged. I chose a option that I have never heard of and it said the answer was wrong. The correct answer was shells which therefore implies that a shell is a living creature. That is WRONG. After I got the question wrong it said to watch and ad to keep your streak or lose your streak. Because I was in a fit of rage, I chose to loose my streak of 67 accidentally. So WRONG. Also, just a side note, the company is shell, not shells. Maybe complete high school before designing an app :). I give the app an F, like the producer of this app got in science. You might have thought science doesn’t matter but it obviously does.

Great Game, but VIP price???. I enjoy the game and wouldn’t mind supporting devs, but the VIP subscription is $6.49 a WEEK. Not a month. That’s crazy. Netflix doesn’t even charge that much. Wouldn’t mind supporting devs but that’s crazy. Also not sure if people can get kicked from league? A lot of inactive people that take up space.

Not worth downloading. Seriously it takes longer to watch one add then to answer one question I would not pay to remove adds if so many adds had not turned me off liking the game

Double charging coins. All of a sudden this game is charging you the 100 coins for the next quiz then makes you watch an ad then instead of going to the round it sends you back to pay the 100 coins to start the round again!!!! Making you run out of money twice as fast. Just not worth it.

Very disappointing.. This game has more ads than any game I’ve ever played. Made it virtually unplayable. I understand that apps need ads for revenue, but it’s pointless if the game is 90% waiting for ads. The trivia itself is too basic. Plus there’s too many clicks to get to each question. So lame.

Pretty Good. This trivia game is very easy but quite entertaining. I love how you can choose your own subject as I know nearly nothing about American football, for I am Australian. It can help little kids in learning too! This game has it’s ups and downs but I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants to find a great, new game.

Accidentally downloaded, then deleted.. While this game was on my phone I got a virus that affected my calendar, warnings that passwords and information was at risk. I’m not saying for certain that it was this game, but oddly enough this game was the only thing I recently downloaded by accidentally clicking on its ad while in another app.

Unknowledgable Experts. Your “experts” are worthless. I always waste my valuable gems on them, they rarely know the correct answer. If they don’t know the answer, my gems shouldn’t be used.

Answers are wrong. This game is boring, some of the options to questions are just ridiculous, and theres wrong answers. Main one I can think, i was asked what the largest desert in the world is. The answer on the game is sahara, but thats false, its antartica. Boring, too many ads, wouldnt reccomend.

You spend more time waiting for ads than playing the game.. All you do is waste time waiting for ads to play out…. Or you can spend money to avoid then. Terrible! I thought this was a game?

Trivia Star. I’ve written many times to complain about this game. The same effing questions are asked again and again. In the ‘Quiz’ part, the game asks questions about: The Walking Dead, Harry Potter and The Office, which are all programs I don’t watch! Since they ask the same questions over and over, I have time to memorize the answers. Your game is extremely redundant! It seems to me that there are so many more questions you can ask and so many more programs you can ask about. The game is crap! 😡

Not really a game. Thought this would be an interesting brain challenge however all it does is numb your brain with a continuous deluge of useless ads. Deleted with pleasure!

Problem with game locking up. I love your game! The categories are nicely varied. However, for the second time the game has locked up on me. A new portrait appears to load, but it cannot be loaded and I am locked out of the game. Now for the third time the game has locked up at the same point … when a new portrait appears. This is the worst trivia app ever made. When you say “4+” on the rating, you should say “4-“ instead, because these trivia questions were about as challenging as throwing a beach ball into the ocean. I assume that some of the makers of this app probably could not hit the ocean with said beach ball, and that is why they thought making this app was a good idea. So please, if you read this, do not download this app because it will be a waste of your time. I downloaded it in an attempt to wow a mystery woman with my immense trivia knowledge, but instead it only killed the mood because if it’s sheer simplicity. You’ve ruined my chances with her, and possibly my life forever. I hate you, Trivia Star. 0 Stars.

Newest update. I loved playing this game when the rewards were 2,4,3,5,7 now you either win 2 or 1 and if you pick one you still lose money. I don’t know what happened but I’m not a fan of this update at all! I think I might uninstall game because of the update! I used to have a quiz game I would play every day and now that’s gone! Don’t know what happened but very disappointed in the updates!!!

Good Brain Food. I’m so glad I have to really use my brain when I play this game. I had a stroke and Aneurysm with a doctors ‘ diagnosis of a 1% chance to survive brain surgery. By the grace of God and 10 church family members praying for me I lived. I’ve learn a lot from from playing this game. I think it’s making me smarter. That’s fun for me. I play alone. I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to learn new facts about everything. Join the fun everyone. Glad I did.

Not fully correct. I have only been playing for about 30 min, and it’s been fun so far. Mainly staying in one or two categories, but just got a question about “Who was Brad Pitt married to, until their divorce in ‘05?” And Jennifer Anniston wasn’t an option, so I didn’t know what to do. Then, it said the correct answer was Jennifer Love Hewitt. Which isn’t right. Not sure if this game is filled with wrong question/answers, but that seemed like an easy one, but I’ll keep playing... but if there are other questions that don’t have the correct answers as options, I’ll be deleting...

Great game but could be helpful to fix. The game is addicting but I have only one issue. Instead of losing the 100 coins to play again why not just let it keep going without spending another 100? Just to only gain that 100 back from lets say a 2x when you win. Which isn’t going to get them anywhere. Also why not have it less than that 100 to play if that’s the case. I understand that’s where you want them to spend after losing it. But to keep it going makes it hard if somebody does lose it all.

Entertaining and educational. Have been playing for a month, I love that it has different categories and different difficulty level on the questions. Some levels are easy cause you are familiar with the subject others are hard cause you know nothing about that subject. You get to learn and have fun. The only cons I have is that the option of getting free gems glitches a lot and you can’t get more for awhile and that my team doesn’t help much in the competition and don’t know how to change teams.

Good but a problem. I gave this 5 stars because i wanted people to see. The game is really addicting and cool but when i pick a specific categorey it says the same questions when you do the same one agian. Like for example celeberties if u finish that and pick it agian sometimes you will get the same questions from the round u did before. This app is good but please fix your game a little bit

It’s fine…. So I do very much enjoy this game, its fun and entertaining. It is enjoyable, but l would prefer it better if their was less adds after you do a level of trivia. Also, l wish the questions would would get harder and harder as it says but l guess not. Also l think that it would be nice if the genres of the type of trivia questions should be for all ages not like 90 ‘s stuff trivia because it literally says that ages 4 + can play this game. Like some 4 year old would know about 90s stuff. Well over all it’s a good game.

Fun to play. Great game to see how many questions you can answer but too many advertisements! I had a couple of issues where I watched the adds to get free credits only to not receive them. I also noted the responses from customer service to peoples problems. At no time did they ever offer you your points back that you lost or to reset your game with extra credits. Poor customer service. Need to correct the problem to keep the players interested in playing the game. Each answer should be different not a standard response.

Very fun game!. So I have been really enjoying this game because trivia is my jam! I will say there is one particular question that is a trick question actually it’s not trick they need to reevaluate the answers the question asks “which animal is active at night?” Two of the options are lion and bat. However, when I selected lion I got it wrong. I know that bats are active at night but so are lions. I am a discovery channel, NatGeo fan therefore I know my info about lions. They are nocturnal hunters and sleep during the day…

Used to be decent. I've been playing for about a year. It's been good and bad with the various updates. Most are pretty cool. Recently, no matter how well you do, you lose coins. Used to be you broke even at the very least unless you got lucky and picked a high card. Now, you only get HALF of what you paid and the high card let's to break even. You're pretty much gonna lose coins no matter how well you do. I guess the point is to make you have to spend real money to buy coins just to keep playing. Kinda stinks.

I WAS really enjoying the game BUT…. I was really enjoying this game until I needed some gems to keep my streak going and purchased a $2.99 gem pack. I didn’t get any gems. Unknown to me, the game supplied coins instead. Coins do not keep streaks going, so I lost a huge streak. Customer Support required a copy of my receipt to even look into the matter. After waiting for my Apple receipt to come in and supplying Customer Support with a copy, I found out that my order for gems had been switched to coins. Needless to say, I deleted the game. This is too much of a headache. Besides, they did me a favor. I don’t need to spend money and time on these games anyway.

Trivia Star. I love “trivia”. So, I have been playing this trivia game off and on for months!! I say “off and on” because I try playing it and I have good luck answering the questions correctly. But, I spend most of my time trying to watch an ad to get somewhere. No ad comes up when I need it. I get so frustrated that there is no way I can enjoy this game. I cannot afford to start spending real money to win a game! This one or any other! I am afraid I must delete this game but I wanted it to work out for me so much!!

Stupid update. My wife and I love playing this game. We stayed up last night an hour past my bedtime just so we could keep playing. However, this morning, I saw there was an update that I hadn’t done for the app yet. So I figured I’d do it. But now you don’t get to choose the cards at the end of the level for the score multiplier. That was the best part! I’m honestly so upset right now and I wish I had known about this before I did the update because I would’ve never done it. I don’t understand while y’all would take a perfect game and change it like that. I sincerely hope you guys switch it back. Until then, I don’t foresee us playing much anymore

Frustrating to the max!. I’ve played this game for months. Very frustrating! 1) The questions start ridiculously easy, then become ridiculously obscure. This forces you to spend money to advance. 2) The 2-day tournaments promise you’ll advance if you end up in the top 10. I usually ended up #1 or 2 - after spending significant money to do it. Sometimes I advanced, but many times I was demoted. 3) This happened several times before I reached out to the help desk. They said they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do. They gave me a few coins & gems. The 2nd & 3rd times I reached out to the help desk, they reiterated there was nothing they could do & they could only offer coins or gems 1 time, so I was out of luck. 4) Their response shows they are much more interested in taking your money than in making the game something you’ll enjoy and stick with. Why the horrible amount of ads if I don't pay to play?. It is understandable to have ads in free games. It is ridiculous to have your ad pop up always to pay to play, it's horrible to have 30 second ads after EVERY 10 second round to play your game. This is a truly fun game to play, but not worth the amount of ads you force players that don't want to pay weekly or monthly to play. 10 minutes playing the game = 100 seconds of actually playing, the rest staring @ the same ads over & over... with the same players playing it getting them all wrong. If you decide (or have it hidden somewhere) to charge a flat fee to play without ads, I'm in & will raise the *'s to 5. Until then, bad choice in ad placement.

Good trivia game. It’s a good trivia game. Lots of great questions. Two things I don’t like about the game: There is one bonus that you answer so many questions and they are supposed to give you 5000 stars. You get 50 stars every time. Be prepared to purchase stars on this app. The other thing is if you get someone actually asking a question, you can’t hear what they say. I’ve checked settings, my volume and you still can’t hear audio questions. .

Game freezes to much with ads!. I actually love this game. Probably one of the only trivia games with tons of different topics where you don’t have to play other people. HOWEVER, I have lost thousands of coins trying to watch ads to get more gems or coins. More often than not I start a new level and try to watch ads to get a few more gems, and then the game freezes, finally just closes, and when I go back my coins are either gone from the level I never got to play, OR other times ALL my coins are gone. Literally thousands of coins gone and so much time wasted. I don’t mind the ads, but I have a brand new phone and great WiFi, so I know it’s not a problem on my end. Super disappointing and frustrating!!

Addictive game!. I absolutely got hooked on this game fast once I got going in it. You don’t have to spend money really and the questions do get a little harder but not that bad really so far. I don’t mind though spending a little here and there in it so the developers can get a little more for a great fun game that they try keeping the costs low. One of my instant favorites, can’t put it down!

Trivia Star. I think that Trivia Star is my favorite game that is available to play. One has the opportunity to learn more about a certain subject, and or excel at a certain subject that they like. People can even ask another expert person a question, if they are unsure of the correct answer. I feel grateful that I have the opportunity to play this well put together game. It’s challenging too!

Super fun, but little challenge. I love this game and think it is a very well done game at that, however the questions are super crazy easy. I have very rarely faced a question that made me have to think. I also have to say some questions basically give you the answer with how awful the choice bank is. Imma keep playing cause I’m really hoping to progress to a point where I find a significant challenge, but as for every other aspect the game is intelligent and well made.

Enjoyable but way too many ads!. This is a fun game but the ads are out of control. You can get 24 hours of ad free games by watching 5 ads. But... it doesn’t work! It gets annoying... Another annoying issue: As soon as you open the daily question an ad pops up that you are low on gems but if you watch the ad you will get 15 free. But.... if you click on it by the time you’ve earned your reward and it goes back to the daily question screen your time has run out and the question is marked as wrong answer. No do over. Just annoying!

meh. This game is a pretty good game but I’m confused about some things. I don’t understand why you have to pay money to play a round. And then after you don’t even make the money back. It costs 100 coins to play a round, and then you only get 50 coins back (unless you get lucky and you get a X2). It used to be that the lowest you could get was a X2 so you always made your money back, but I guess they’ve updated it and now you actually loose coins by playing rounds. I don’t understand why you would do this??? I don’t know. I just don’t get it so I deleted this game.

Feeling suckered. The game itself is pretty fun but lately the ads (which show up after after Every. Single. Round.) are longer than the trivia round so I have to spend more time than I should waiting them out. Not to mention constant requests for me to buy diamonds or whatever they are — the actual trivia game itself ends up being less than half the time I’m in this app, between ads and declining to purchase items I don’t need. If you’re really looking for a fun trivia game that is all about trivia, look elsewhere because this is ads and purchase requests with just a few trivia questions thrown in.

Game is rigged. Filled with BOTS, BUGS, and CHEATS, and the developer team refuses to clean up their act. Frankly, as long as the numbers keep rolling in, why would they bother? Shame on us for supporting deceit and mediocraty by patronizing a game full of unreal bot players, with quite a few wielding impossible to obtain scores, unresponsive TONE DEAF customer support, picture questions missing pictures, one of every 30 questions have inaccurate answers, questions go from too easy to too hard in just a few weeks - and within a month I was reaching the end of categories with no further questions depleting replay ability. I can’t fathom anyone actually paying for help. BIG HINT, play offline most the time…

Too Many 30 Second Ads. Just started the game. Too Many 30 Second Ads in my opinion. Update, since the developer wants to send replies to honest reviews and say ads are what fund their company. There are many, many apps-games that don’t bombard you with ads every single round you play and make you what a 30 sec ad to continue the game. I understand ads are what pays the bills, but to hold players hostage for 30 secs every round watching ads that 99% of people could care less about is a bit excessive. Let the players play the game a little and then play an ad. Not every round, especially at the beginning of the game. Once again, not worth the hassle and this is a honest review.

Rip off. This game used to be great until they recently changed the rewards multipliers after winning a round to only be 1x or 2x. The lowest used to be 2x so you at least won your coins back after winning a round and as high as 7x. Now even if you win the round you either break even if you are lucky enough to get the 2x or you actually LOSE 50 coins. Supposedly you can still get up to 7x but in the hundreds of rounds I’ve played recently have only seen the 1 or 2. Blatant ploy to get people to have to buy coins to play because you will eventually run out. Needless to say I promptly cancelled my VIP membership and will most likely only play on free Friday.

Waste of time. The questions are trash. I went through almost 100 rounds to see if it got more difficult. Joined their team system and climbed to the top of that. You would have to have a non functioning brain to enjoy this. Here’s a sample question “what color is a Granny Smith apple?” A. Blue B. Orange C. Green D. Pink The fact that this app has so many stars is a testament to the stupidity of mankind. Edit* No I’m not going to contact you through your game. I already deleted it, I already told you the issue, as have many of the people in the comments. You want your customers that have already told you the issue to go through more trouble to help you? Does that even seem logical?

Love game but not ads. I would’ve gave a 5 start but I couldn’t because of the ads. I get that apps have ads but this game ads are extremely loud. Most of the time people pay games when they’re bored and usually it’s quite and then here come the loudest ads ever. Some of them you can choose mute but they have already started and disturbed people. Other ones you don’t even have the choice to mute. That makes me hurry and go out of the game cause it’s so loud and embarrassing.

Awesome Trivia game. I love this game. The questions are from all ranges of difficulty. I like the constant rewards you can earn. I bought the no adds version but can’t afford a weekly amount. If there were one thing I could say to improve the game it would be not to offer a reward and then when you open it to collect, it is an opportunity to buy something versus an actual reward.

No free coins. I was having fun with this game and winning enough to sustain my gaming but when I did finally run out of coins I tried “watch a video to earn free coins” and I went through at least 7 segments of ads to the end and not a single coin was added to my game. Maybe a glitch idk but I’m not gonna play this for awhile if I don’t get the coins. I can’t afford to buy coins or gems. It’s ridiculous costly to play. 100 coins for each set of questions and 50 gems to get a new question after failing to correctly answer A question . I may have to delete this Gane soon because of these costly factors.

No way to not spend $. When I first started, I really enjoyed this game. Now, I’m going to delete it. Every game costs ‘100’ coins. After the game, IF you answer all 6 correctly, you have 1 chance out of 3 to win 200 coins, otherwise, just 100. If you do not answer all six, game over and next round costs another 100. At first, not that big of a deal, but the longer I played, the harder the questions so odds of answering 6 was less, even when more chances to win more coins increased, still was mostly just the 100. To keep playing, I was having to buy buy buy, no thanks. Plenty of other trivia games out there that are free

Eh. This game has a large library of questions and even as a seasoned player, I rarely see repeat questions. The interface is simple enough and ads aren’t obtrusive. The 100 player league chat can be entertaining. However the leader boards are broken and you can not progress to gold tier. Rewards often go missing. Gold is stingy. This app could be better but seems to be neglected like so many others *response to devs* You admitted in another review you’ve known of the leader board issues since February but you’ve not yet acted to correct them

A definite recomend. ✔︎. This game is amazing! It keeps you didtractrd and you can learn lots of new things as you play it. The game does not have many adds and as the levels increase so does the difficulty of each question. Overall, this game ins’t addicting which is good for you physical and mental health AND it is super fun and distracts you from some of the bad days. Install if you want a game thats not py educational and good for you, but very fun! I enjoyed writing this review and stay safe! シ ❤︎

Not what shows on the annoying ad to download. This game is not the game I supposed to download. When the ad showed up in one of my other games, I decided to try the game in the ad. Which shows a cartoon version of Betty White, in what appears to be like Hollywood squares back in the 70’s. This game is just a generic trivia game I have tried before and deleted. They used a switch and bate to get you to download a game that is not what it shows. After I downloaded the game, I deleted again and tried to find the game I thought it was and all it did was take to a different version of a different trivia game again. I don’t like companies that lie. I will not download anymore games from this company again.

Great game…a bit of laggy times. I overall LOVE this game, however there are a few flaws. Firstly the ads drive me nuts! There are sometimes random ads but then the screen goes black and it is really frustrating. Secondly you have to watch lots of videos to get gems. Lastly some political things happen on this app, like when you join a club it is like Trump 2024, or something like it and they all talk about how everyone should vote for Trump. I love this game, but some of those things really get on my nerves sometimes.

Fun game for a limited amount of time. The game is fun. It has questions that are fun and can be challenging. The issue is the coin system. You run out of coins way easier than earning them, so you’d have to buy them (same with gems). You have to put in 100 coins to play a round and if you win, you’ll pick a “multiplier” card, which is way more common to be a x2. With a round win of 50 coins, the common x2 multiplier will just equal out what you spent. I feel like if you win, you should get your original investment and then the multiplier. The risk of losing your coins is fine, but shouldn’t make it so difficult earning them back after winning rounds.

Adds, adds, adds, $$$. The trivia in the beginning is way too easy. The rewards (if you don’t spend money to buy the piggy bank) are way to small so eventually you will run out of stars and gems and need to watch videos to continue. As you get better at the subjects yes the questions should get harder, but harder, more obscure questions and the better you do in a subject it seems to me like the less often those subjects appear on my choices. Unles I want to pay gems to roll another time or specifically pick a subject…. All about getting you to put in that credit card.

Trivia player. I like this game. However, I am offended by the Breaker Fun ads that keep popping up, showing scantily clad women having their clothes removed. Since I play this game in an area where my children are around I am going to delete Trivia Star. I’ve notified Apple about my concerns with no resolution. Perhaps if other games get deleted due to these sexist, obscene ads the other game makers will take action. Trivia Star is a fun and challenging game but it is being sabotaged by Breaker Fun.

Pay to win. It’s a classic pay to win. Worse yet they also require you to watch ads in order to play. Yep they get your money and force you to watch ads. Not bad enough? Lots of inaccuracies in questions. Outdated content (you’ll do better if you were an adult in the 90s). Support basically doesn’t care about the game.... so why play? You shouldn’t. Latest update. Developer contacted me and nicely said I was an idiot that just didn’t know how to get coins. Never mind the tons of other reviews that say the same thing. They admitted the errors in questions but wanted me to find them for them??!! Ultimately they took no responsibility to flaws in the game. End result if they won’t acknowledge the issues they certainly won’t fix them.

Used to be fun. Hubby and I loved this and played it together. But now we are having to get 8 right to win a category and frankly the questions can be difficult so we now only get through some of the times. I had no issue with watching an ad between games but as of this evening we can’t even play without watching endless videos or paying a fee. Sadly turning it off and not sure when we will be back. This is a shame as we enjoyed it while it lasted. Would only rank as 3 stars maximum now. It previously was a 5 star app so averaged it out to 4 stars.

Surprisingly excellent. A friend of mine was playing this game when I was introduced. We were making fun of him for playing a ‘knock off Trivia Crack’ that had stupidly easy questions. As a joke we all got the game, and I like it as much if not more than Trivia Crack. The questions did start off almost too easy, but after you have time to get used to the app the questions get to a reasonable difficulty. It’s not taken me long to get addicted.

Why does the game keeps freezing up?. I just started playing this game today and so far I’m very discouraged… I easily passed all the easy levels of course the way anyone would… Then I have to watch all these videos constantly… And the game freezes up… At the end of the video there is nothing no X to close it it’s just frozen… I’ve had to close the gameAnd started again three times today very frustrating don’t know if I’ll play anymore

Could be better. I like this game a lot don’t get me wrong it is a very good game. I just noticed that some of the questions are wrong. Like I did the basketball section and it asked me “ What does it mean when someone dribbles with 2 hands at a time?” I press the wrong answer apparently and it said double dribble was the correct answer. That is not correct coming from a basketball player. Double dribble is when you dribble, stop dribbling and start dribbling again. I had no problems besides that one.

Fun free game. I really like this game; it passes the time and the questions aren’t too hard so that I always have plenty of coins and gems to continue playing even if I answer wrong. My only question is about the “stars”.... the app is called “trivia star” and I have earned over 80,000 stars, but the stars don’t seem to do anything?? Maybe I’m missing something, but why do we earn them if you can’t spend them on anything ? There’s even an event going on now where I’m earning 2x the stars. But... for what? 😂

The game is fun but….. I really do enjoy this game. I’m not really a gamer and don’t play many, but this is one I’ve recently downloaded that I enjoy because it challenges me. BUT, the number of lengthy ads is ridiculous. I spend more time watching ads than actually playing trivia. The only way to avoid this is to pay $4 a week. I don’t love playing it that much pay every week to play. Other games that I’ve enjoyed have figured out a way to allow play time and occasionally throw ads in there. I understand money should be made from the app, but maybe figure out a way to allow more play time vs ad watching time.

You spend gems instead of earning them. This app penalizes you for wrong answers. It does not encourage you to try levels you may not be proficient in. The only way to earn gems is by watching ads or purchasing more gems. You only get one life every three hours so as soon as you get one answer wrong, you’re penalized gems for any additional wrong answer. I also play TriviaNight, which does the complete opposite. It rewards you for correct answers. There’s five questions for each category and if you get an answer wrong, you just don’t earn extra gems. I highly recommend checking out that app. Truly free.
