It’s okay. It’s not as bright as i hoped it would be. But it’s on my nightstand so i’m just using it as a little light while i’m laying in bed. my problem is the music part. when i don’t allow it to access my music, it works with the random music it provides. but whenever i allow it to access my music, it crashes to my home screen and completely exits out of the app. and it does it every time.

Super easy.. I think the bad reviews are technologically impaired or had an old version, but I literally just pressed “allow bluetooth” and could use the app.

Not connecting to Bluetooth. I got my LED lights a while back, and I love them. But in this review, I will not be talking about the lights themselves. I’m going to talk about the app. For a few months, everything was working perfectly and I had nothing to worry about. But recently, the Bluetooth ability stopped working. For some odd reason it took off my LEDs from blue tooth and will not let me use the app anymore. The “add device” option isn’t there anymore either, so I can’t add the LED lights back. Personally, I’m fine with using the remote, I just miss having the option to put it on a timer with Bluetooth.

does not work w multiple lights. i have 2 lights and they don’t sync. i want to use the timer feature and also be able to turn the lights on and off if not needed. But everytime I use the app to turn off the lights, it messes up the sync of the 2 led lights. If you only have one light i’m sure it works fine

Uh... I think I’ll stick to the remote.. The light first off has problems with it. You cant but it on orange or yellow or else it gives off this blueish light yellow color. The app design is ugly and horrible and some of the buttons don’t even work. The music mode is the crappiest module I’ve ever laid eyes on and is overall hard to navigate. This app doesn’t even try to be halfway decent. The light itself does its job, (apart from the orange and yellow settings), and looks pretty nice in general. But the app is horrendous. Please take time to make it look better.

I’m slightly disappointed. I was super excited when I got this and it is exactly what I wanted, except the music part doesn’t work. Every time I try to click onto the music it crashes the app and goes to my Home Screen. I wish the music part worked and honestly then it would probably get 5 stars from me.

Great app!. I bought a Tzumi LED Light today and I absolutely love it. I am planning on purchasing another one in the coming days. The app is perfect! I gave four stars because the music page needs fixing. It crashes each and every time you tap on it. Other than that, I love it!

I can’t get it to connect again. I just got them and a day after the the app stopped working I didn’t disconnect it but it’s disconnected. I can’t get it to connect again. I hope the app will work again because the app was really fun. I hope it works for you.

Great product. Bro I don’t know why everyone’s mad with this is is a great product and it’s super bright and the app just makes it better the only mad thing is the usb is port to turn on the leds is a little fragile but just cover it with black tape and your good it changes colors just the way it’s supposed to and if your brightness is too low just turn it up on the app

Works great.... mostly. This app and the lights work perfectly fine and I am satisfied with them, I do have one problem though, the app connected to another set of lights, which wasn't even this same brand, and I am unable to delete them. Other than that it works perfectly fine

Stressful. So this is my first light strip. I did like it until I had to go to bed and then my tv off then the light strip refused to turn off. The controller for it doesn’t work what so ever. Me and others have tried. Downloaded the app and that only changed the color once. Had to unplug the light strip to sleep but now it never comes back on.

Apple is horrible.. The apple is horrible. The lights are fantastic, but i wanted the bluetooth capability. You tap the three bars, and mine does two sets of LEDS when i only have one. you try to press the connect, and it’s like your pressing a wall. it did nothing. if you’re lucky enough to connect in the small chance you have, it works for at max 10 seconds.

It’s okay. I don’t want the light to go completely out when changing or fading, what would be nice if it had a constant color wave program kinda like steelseries rgb if you get me

Is this gonna get updated?. It works but doesn't work well. Theres tons of bugs like not being able to change brightness when set to gradual color change. Mic feature doesn’t work how it should. Schedule feature doesn’t respond sometimes. And it could really use more options like custom color changing patterns. Since the last time this app has been updated was around 5-7 months ago i doubt things will be fixed. Guess this is now just a secondary remote since the special parts about the app don’t work

Multi Color Light Bar. Not as bright as I expected, but much better to use with the app. Music function crashes the app but my device doesn’t have a speaker, so maybe that has an affect. The light is honestly much more effective and works a lot better with the app. Which is weird, but I highly suggest ditching the remote for the app. And for future design, plz include a rechargeable batter with the light, finding a place to plug in is kind of annoying. (Gen Z problems)

Constantly cuts out. well I got these lights a while back and it was all good. but after like 2 days of using the app my lights don't turn on (even with the remote). tried playing music and the app deleted itself, wouldn't recommend. this app is not what it says, fix it or quit selling the lights...

I like it but.... I just bought this today and although I love it; quality is good, it’s pretty bright, and it works great; every time I want to use the “music” setting in the app it crashes. I saw many other reviews like this... please get it fixed! Other than that, I really like it!!

Works like it says. I read a lot of complaints regarding this app. I’m not sure what- if any- difference between what device you use with this app makes, but I use a 6s with the app. My app n multi colored light bar works with the music n everything like the app description says it should... maybe there was a bug. If so, it seems to have been fixed. But I think what’s happening with many people is they think they should just be able to exit the app, play music, and it should work. That’s not how it works. You have to let the app access your Apple Music library, and play it through the music portion of the app.

app never works, but remote doesn’t either.. app constantly crashes, microphone feature has never worked, takes forever to switch colors. but the most frustrating part is that the remote that was provided doesn’t work either. if i switch the color, it stays still until i change the volume up or down with the tv remote. if i put the volume up, it always changes the light to the white setting, but if i put the volume down (which is the reason i’ve returned two already), the lights start flickering and rapidly switching colors from red to green to blue. you would think they’d issue a trigger warning for seizures since this has happened with each tzumiled i own.

Can’t Use Phone App. I use to be able to use the app on my phone to control the settings but now the app literally does nothing. It won’t let you setup new connections or connect to your previous tvs. Guess I’ll have to use the remote which doesn’t control it very well either hence why I started using the phone app.

Led light. When I go to settings..it shows a Manual and it says “to connect a new device go on the upper left corner and it should show Bluetooth device to connect”...and when I go on it literally nothing shows

Good app, some pretty annoying bugs though. I like this app for controlling all my lighting at once, and it’s got a wide range of options for my lighting. But it crashes constantly, and will become completely unusable for an hour or more at a time. If that gets fixed I’d be able to bump my review up a star or two.

Music page crashes. Everything is good. Like the colors and actually illuminates my room. The only thing is the music page. That’s the main reason I wanted it for. I listen to music a lot. Hopefully you guys can fix it. Overall good led lights.

Needs more. The colors are fine although not accurate depictions of what your actual led’s will shine most of the time. NEEDS custom cross fades. Apple automation compatibility would also be awesome. Will rate higher when we have have more control over our lights.

BEST LEDS EVER!. So I see reviews that it don’t work but it works perfectly really bright I mean it’s the best leds maybe it was like that but it got updated or just false info but yea I’ll stick to both also play music from the app and it don’t crash a lot like how people saying it is but yea 5 STARS FOR SURE Um u can’t close the app to play music play music in the app it’s not a Bluetooth speaker would be cool if it was but all it does it changes colors when u play music but it’s cool tho so like if ur chilling or anything i like both remote and app Um hoped this helps

Unreal.... I get the app for the led mood lighting for my tv and went to the website to use the manual. It says to tap on the upper left 3 bars. I did. It was empty. Nothing on it at all except for thin lines which may have at one time been part of the framing (for the now not there) menu -which is necessary to use the app. App is useless. Unhelpful. I do like the lights on the tv, but I will have to use the remote, which for some reason keeps turning my lights off and does not do what the app is suppose to do. Two stars for the light strip, but the app is a total disappointment, hence why it is not a 4 star review. Less than 2/3rd of this product doesn't work well.

Bluetooth problems. So I have 4 lights, two of them are the tower ones, and two of them are the strips. My biggest issue is the Bluetooth for one of the strips doesn’t connect unless my phone is within two feet from it, unobstructed, yet it connects to the other three from multiple feet away though objects. Honestly my only fault but it’s starting to really bother me 🤷‍♂️

It’s a alright gift but please fix this problem. I love this light and leave them out for your phone and the actual remote but one thing that I do not like is whenever I try to play music on my phone and make the lights change every time a beat happens it crashes I do not like it because t everything else is alright tho

Needs improvement. The music portion only cooperates to podcasts, so that needs to be fixed. It doesn’t change to the color I want automatically. Microphone needs improvement too. The orange, yellow, and purple needs to be fixed. It’s an okay app.

Music. I wish the music worked but besides that it’s a good app! I recently got led lights and I was super excited because I heard the worker with music and so I downloaded the app, and I was disappointed to find out the music dosent work, the app just crashes every time I try to use it.

Get what you pay for. Yes it was cheap and cute so I thought why not? The app crashed and will not play music . I also can use the remotes but not app for the light bar. It’s cute for child’s room. Will look for better product

Not Bad. Not a bad app. Can fix some things like when using the mic. You should have the choice to choose what color it bounces to instead of going through all the colors.

It’s not showing up??. The light strip itself is amazing and bright, but for some reason, when I click the upper left list menu, the light strip doesn’t pop up for me to connect with Bluetooth? Can I have help with that? Coming from an iPhone 11

Good but. Superb quality brightness and color setting. The improvement needs to be on music mode possibly to incorporate a mic in the LED itself or to be able to connect to one via Bluetooth device or over WiFi. As of right now In music mode it uses the mic on your phone if it was able to do that via background that would be cool but if I minimize the app it stops it doesn’t run in the background and stops very often or if phone falls asleep.

Eh serves its purpose I guess. I got these lights to put around my dogs crate for night time so he’s not in the pitch black. Was stoked when I saw there was a feature for scheduling on and off except for the fact that if you close the app, the schedule turns off. So stupid. Obviously there’s a lot to be fixed with these lights but can’t complain I mean I got them from Walmart 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love the light but app needs work. The adjust feature works well on the app, but all other features are under developed with terrible UI/UX. These others features should not have been release in the app since they are functioning very poorly. I got the music portion to stop crashing app by turning off tzumi access to Apple Music in privacy settings. Please fix all these broken features.

Sometimes won’t turn on the LED light. So the app if very good there’s only one problem sometimes when I try to turn it in from the app it won’t work and when I double check to see if the LED light is plugged I see that it is plugged in

Schedule Feature Not Working. ***A primary reason I got the light bar was for the scheduling feature. The light doesn’t turn on/off while the app is open nor in the background, and the schedule page has words and buttons displayed on top of each other.*** ^ That was the real bummer ^ Other than that… adjusting the style works as intended and has some features inaccessible with the remote that came with the light bar, but you can get nearly the same results without using the app. The music feature is extremely limited, but I wasn’t expecting anything crazy there. The mic feature is out of sync, but again, my expectations were low (and yours should be as well).

Led Lights. Past few days the app has been messing up pretty bad, they wont turn on & it says they’re connected. When i try to change it to any other color but white they just shut off. I’ve had them for a few months & no other problems until a few days ago with the app.

Bait and switch with the music feature. The LED strip is easy to apply and all. The app false advertises the use of one’s personal music in sync with the lights. The app will want access to all of your music in device, it will load your library but never play any of your own music, only the few songs the app already has built in it. The mic is not synced. I left it in a quiet room and the activity was the same when it was in a noisy setting. In all, you get what you paid for with the ease of having a remote and Bluetooth option.

Minor bug. The LED lights work well and I enjoy them but for some reason when I put it on music mode it won’t load any songs to play but for some reason only play daily wire content is that a bug for the App or is it something with my phone?

Very cool app, but…. These guys have been very creative to consider all the kinds of functions they could add. They have provided quite a bit of variability. The only area where it lacks is when you select the music mode – it automatically crashes and takes you out of the app. Fix that and I’d give you five stars. 👍🏻

Honestly... not the best.. I love the tzumiLED, but there’s one thing that makes me want to buy another product. I’ll select my color of choosing, and then from any time of 1 second to whenever it will change to a flashing rainbow color when I turn my phone off. It’s really annoying. Sometimes if I select blue it goes to light green. Please fix this. I’m considering buying a different light product.

Just needs one fix. I got this for my birthday and really enjoy it! The remote doesn't work for me, but I don't need it to since I use the phone app lol. My only problem is the music page. Anytime I click the music page, the app immediately crashes to my home screen, so that part doesn't work. If that could be fixed, that would be great!!!

cant use the music. i don’t know if i’m doing it wrong but it doesn’t take your personal music into the app. i even got a trial of apple music just to see if it was apple exclusive but the only songs that are loaded into the app are the ones that came with it. i just want it to work man. it also doesn’t help that the app doesn’t sync the best and mine came with a broken remote so the app is all i got for this. please let me know if i’m doing something wrong i just want these lights to work.

fix it please.. I love the app it provides way more colors than the remote ofc, My only problem is that my app randomly disconnected from my lights and I cant reconnect them.

Work great except the music!. Everything works fine for me , I got one as a gift for Christmas and I love it. The music feature crashes every time ! I've even tried it while connecting to a speaker. Please fix this

Worst quality led app ever. The schedules does not work and just the overall design of the app is very bad, there are some buttons with letter extruding into them, the color presets cant be typed the numbers, and the music control just looks like a bunch if flashing lights on random, the pre made color effects should have more variety as well

Please fix this!!!. I got the steak for my birthday and it works very well the remote works I downloaded the app on my iPad and I tried to use the Music but it crashed right away and I tried again and it still crashed so just please fix this crashing it keeps going to my home screen just fix it OK now I hate this app because I tried deleting the app and I still couldn’t control it with my remote so yeah just fix it already I hate it

Use the aura LED app instead. aura led app from same developer is slightly better (can control individual leds better) but the English is not as clean as this one

Well made but crashes. Well made and the it works with the lights well. Only problem is that when you try to use the music option the app just crashes.

Has potential. Let’s go you guys, just bought the light kit from Costco. You need to fix auto connect for both lights. I don’t want my wife and my wife doesn’t want me control hers or my light. Fix that please. And don’t offer a music feature if it doesn’t work. Fix it. Spend the money, update you app!

Average capability but could be much better. Colour accuracy from app to device is off (I’m using the light bars) Music mode to connect to library crashes the app. Doesn’t work. Microphone mode is neat but stops working when the phone screen times out and closes. Don’t know how that would be solved with software versus putting a mic on the bar itself. Haven’t tried the schedule feature. Would love to have more programmatic capabilities to define the sequence of colours, at what length of delay per transition, frequency of strobe effect, etc. Lots more work to do on this but what did you expect from Chinese manufacturers? “Cha bu duo lah”

Make it better. The music works really good but it would be nice if you could select the colours for the song you listening to

Whack. The app won’t connect to the light at all. The option is there. It just straight up won’t connect. I’m dumb but I don’t think I’m too dumb for a light. When the option is directly in front of my face but it just doesn’t let me click it. It’s definitely not my phone. It’s ur dumb app lol
