Easy to use. This is an awesome app that allows me to transfer photos from my phone to laptop. So easy to install and to use.

Pretty good. This app is pretty good and I was excited to find a way to transfer my pictures easily. Only things are, 1) the app doesn’t send videos very well, 2) it takes a very long time, 3) on my pc I have to go through and delete the pictures or transfer the pictures 1 at a time.

Man oh man. Makes file transfers a breeze esp. for things like editing music a quick drop after you bounce the track to make sure the final project sounds just rite takes a few exports which cud be very tedious to plug in this n that or flooding yo email wit all kinds of junk tracks I kno trust me Oh yea p.s. real customer

Would be great if it worked. It stopped working won’t share files to or from my pc edit it is working fine now I is a great app.

So Simple!. I’ve recently switched from a MacBook Air to an HP Envy and this is a little different lol HOWEVER it’s so helpful and easy! Instead of having to connect to a cord (how gen z do I sound🤣) I can basically airdrop to my computer. 10/10 recommend!

Fast file transfer. This app makes it really easy and fast to transfer pics and videos and docs back-and-forth from my PC to my phone. Nice job.

First time. Easy!. Just bought a new Hp laptop and had many pictures on an iPhone. Figured I’d give the app a try and it’s super easy to transfer from phone to laptop. Thanks

Starting to test HP QuickDrop. I just started testing HO QuickDrop and made my fist transfer of pictures, and it went smoothly through my network as it promised. I will continue updating this app during the upcoming time ti give a more general review. So far it complies with its promise.

Good app but laggy. I like the idea of being able to transfer photos/files across platforms. This app is great for transferring photos from iPhone to pc. But while browsing through photos on iPhone, it lagged and froze sometimes. It also auto-selected a few photos which I didn’t select and transfer to pc.

Great App, but . . . .. This is a great app and I appreciate the new update with support for multiple devices connected to PC. But, I still have some issues. The biggest is there does not appear to be a way to clear the App’s cache. When I look at my memory storage, this App can grow quite big in it’s consumption of memory. The only way I’ve found to clear it is to delete the App, and re-install. The setting to “Clear All Items from Feed” does not seem to do it. I presume, once I’ve transferred the file, and now have it on both my phone and on my PC, I don’t need the intermediary app hanging onto the data.

Besttttttttt. This is literally the best app i have used for the past couple of months, the photos and videos transfers within a minute. I love this app alottt. I hope this app gets more better in future.

Great App but messages constantly shows “connecting”. After reading on Reddit that HP Quickdrop works with reading and sending iMessages, i was in joy. Downloaded and installed on my HP laptop, paired easily to my IPhone 11, but when it came to the message module on my laptop, it prompts to pair again and needs approval for viewing contacts on my iphone; it does not pair. I tried rebooting IPhone, repair application, and everything works great except the messages. It might be a Windows 11 issue but it is fully updated to the latest patches, but i am at the end of troubleshooting and it does the same thing to my IPhone 7 as well.

Great utility! Can quickly transfer things back and forth from my iPhone. This just works, and is extremely simple to use. I've made use of it daily since I installed to, to transfer things back and forth from my Spectre and iPhone. Nice app - well done HP!

Delivery and execution. I had a video from one of my motorbike rides and accidentally got it locked. No matter what I went through I couldn’t get it to share to anything else. Dropbox wouldn’t work, nothing would work. Finally I found this and it worked super fast and clean. You don’t get much better than this. I’ll be using it from now on to help upload my world travels. Suggestion. I love the concept and it’s made my life easier, however, I think it be better if there was a way to send files, images, etc without having to open the application on both devices. I also think there should be a way to save files on the app here on the iPhone. For example I sent a pdf to my phone but I dont see a way to save it, just view it. Unless there is something im missing. But I do think the app can improve and make it far more superior than any file sharing app out there!

When it works it good!. I been having a lot of problems with this app. I take pictures on my iPhone and when I try to download to my phone I keep getting it failed. If find more times it doesn’t work but when it works it’s great.

Messenger. I am not happy with this app! I was able to download pictures but I cannot open messenger. All it does is says that it is connecting. I think that this is a waste of money. I have contacted the company but have not heard from them after two days. I want to enjoy the app but I cannot do that without someone contacting me. Please do that now!

I LOVE THIS APP. This is the best because it allows me to send pictures to my computer and I can make them my background for it I just adore this app👍👍

Easy hp app. Pairing my iPhone to my laptop was easy. My first sms was good and now I can use my contacts to sms from my laptop and collaborate with files and photos.

First try. Took a while to install buy fast and accurate pictures sent from iPhone to computer

Perfect. Does exactly what it needs to and extremely fast. It’s so easy to use and saves so much time. By far my favorite way to transfer files from my phone to my laptop. And you don’t need to save the files you can just copy and paste to save memory. 10/10!!

So convenient. I loved Hp orbit program and knew this would be something big now Hp quick is exactly that super quick!!! I really use it for sharing content on my computer no more cords.

Very useful for HP laptop owners. If you have a compatible HP laptop this is great for quick file transfers between your iPhone and Windows laptop. Much like AirPods and just as efficient.

Inconsistent. This app works when it wants. It always reads connected or connecting and you can see all the previous files sent from the same device paired but the thing still doesn’t work. It seems you have to set it up all over each time you want to use it. It’s inconvenient and defeats the purpose of simply airdropping. I shouldn’t have to repair everytime I want to use the app.

Awesome!. A lot of folks are having trouble figuring out how to save files locally. Tap the file, select share, scroll down and select save to files. Welcome 😘

Great for sharing. This app is really good because it makes it convenient to transfer data like photos and videos, just like a MacBook!

I Should Have Check Here 1st. I wish I would’ve checked my HP first it would’ve me transferring all my photos from Google in my phone much faster and easier. This is a simple and logical way to use photo transfer. Looking forward to learning how to use this better.

PC solution to airdrop. When I first made the switch back to a PC after having been a Mac user for years, I was so sad to have lost my ability to airdrop things easily between my phone and laptop. Thankfully, HP has found an effortless solution to this pesky problem. QuickDrop is fast, intuitive, and makes working between my PC and iPhone so much friendlier. I don’t have to email photos back and forth to myself and it has simplified my workflow and increased my satisfaction with my HP laptop.

It keeps freezing and I have to restart computer and phone. It’s so frustrating to upload a few things, one at a time otherwise it turns into a brick, and then eventually one of those things you try to upload also cause it to brick and nothing happens. So then I have to restart my phone and computer to be able to upload a handful of single pictures or videos, and then it bricks again.

I CALL IT THE FAST DROP. I just love it. It’s really one of the greatest things about my new Fathers Day Hp, I would say that it moves faster than the computer it self; and it makes it incredibly easy to put together a PowerPoint! Thx!

Incredibly fast. This app is so simple and easy to use. File transfers are extremely fast and it installed immediately on my laptop and my iPhone. Excellent app

Love the app but…. This is a great concept and is wonderful when it works. A lot of times it won’t connect with my laptop and now the app on my phone crashes as soon as i open it making it unusable. I would love to know a fix for this as I used to use the app daily but now have to result in slower methods for file transfer

It’s good once you connect it to PC but…. It always takes me three or four times to pair my iPhone-13 with my HP PC computer. The app is pretty easy once I’m connected.

Piece ofJunk. I’ve tried to share pictures on my camera to my pc and after 2 hours I’m giving up and deleting the quick drop from my phone and pc. It’s too frustrating to try to get it to work. I can’t connect the two together and there are no decent instructions to find out how to set it up. Another reason to stay away from extra add ons that are useless!

Very convenient. This app is quick and convenient for transferring pictures from my iphone to windows PC and PC to phone. The only problem is that if I haven’t used it for a while, it seems to stop being able to transfer. But when this happens, I simply disconnect and reconnect it.

Transferring data. I was very impressed on how easy it was to pair my pc and iOS together and how quickly it transferred the data. I would recommend or highly. Of course, HP never disappoints.

Easy to use. Just transferred some pix from iPad to desktop HP. Easy to setup and use. I changed the settings of the transferred to folder on my desktop from the default location.

The concept it’s cool but the app…. It’s a bugged out mess. The app crashes when trying to save videos to the device and now it’s started crashing when just trying to play the video. I got the app to be able to view my gameplay clips on my phone and share them, however that’s hard to do when the app hardly works properly.

Great app, But takes up MASSIVE storage. This is an awesome app. I love it, it works great most of the time and is easy to use. Can’t argue with that. My only gripe is that after using it for a while, the app takes up a boatload of iphone storage with god knows what. It currently takes up 18gb with its documents on my phone with no option in the app to clear that data. The app itself is only like 57MB so no clue where that GB is coming from. Only way to fix it is reinstall the app after the storage goes way too high.

This is so good! I love HP. I am an HP person. I only purchase HP. If they had a mobile device, I would purchase it. QuickDrop is outstanding and I paired my apple 13 and receiving and sending texts, ❤️❤️❤️😭❤️❤️

Good but one issue. This works for me to transfer iPhone videos to my PC (not a Mac). However my biggest issue is having to delete the app and reinstall the app on my phone to remove the trails of footage that continue to take up all of my iPhone storage. Once I transfer the videos and clear the feed the files still eat up the space which cannot be removed unless the app is uninstalled. If there was an easier way to empty the app after using it, that would be a great solution.

Love this app. I just started using it, I have not used it long but so far I have not had any problems. If I do I will update review.

I love it but…. I recently retired my 10yo MacBook and picked up an HP laptop but I’m still clinging to my iPhone. Was excited to stumble upon the app on my computer so I downloaded it to my phone and started clearing up space on my phone by moving pictures. Love how fast the photos and videos transferred. Faster than airdrop. However, today I noticed an alert on my phone, went to see what it was about and it was saying my phone storage was almost full. Why in the name of Batman, is the app taking up nearly 7.5 GB if space on my phone?!?! I cleared out the photos after transferring so where in the world is it getting that much from “documents and data”?

Great transferring to PC - not so much going from PC to iPhone. The app works great transferring photos from iPhone to PC. However, when transferring photos from PC to iPhone, there is a distortion problem where the app distorts the image to fit in a square frame. When opening the photo with HP Quick Drop feed, it opens with the correct dimensions, however when saving the image anywhere, it only saves the distorted square. This needs to be fixed to be fully useful.

So quick and easy!. I love how I can select the photos and then send to my computer. No cable involved!

It works. I’m a Mac user and occasionally have to use a Windows laptop. I use Airdrop a lot. This is like Airdrop between one iPhone (or iPad) and a single Windows laptop. Would be better if it could support multiple iDevices, but this is good enough for now 🤓

Good app. This app is so great it saved me 50 dollars on a USB adapter to lighting, now I can send files to and from my PC.

When I need to use the app it turns itself off. Been using for two months has been really great but recently every time I need to use it open the app and it causes it self it’s really frustrating

Great for iPhones. Works seamlessly. I’ve been looking for an easy way to transfer files from my IPhone to my laptop and this is the easiest and fastest way to do it. Apple makes it such a pain. I can choose the files I want without any hassles.

Hp quick drop. This app was so simple to use after spending so much time trying other apps and being frustrated I decide to try this and it was fabulous no stress .

HP QuickDrop - Unreliable and slow. I recently purchased a 14” HP Envy that I am very pleased with. However the free HP app that is offered for speedy exchange of images and files between the HP and my iPhone, is quite a disappointment. Compared with the Apple airdrop app, it does not come close for functionality. I have not yet managed to send files to or from the laptop without it taking ages to connect with the iPhone, with no progress indication, or if the transfer has even started, much less how long it will take. Despite the majority of files being under 2 Mb and nearly all under 1Mb, when I do manage to get the two devices talking to each other, it takes up to 30 secs sometimes to execute the transfer. HP would do well to examine how easily and quickly Apple manages the job.

Rubbish. Won’t upload video unless you pay to upgrade

Bugs. Seems to be some sort of bug or glitch in the app, I cannot un-pair my phone to my laptop. My phone recognises that I’m paired but my laptop doesn’t. Needs fixing as I cannot transfer anything

Really great piece of helpful software. Getting pics off my iOS phone to my pc had always been a pain. This is nearly as nice as airdrop in the apple ecosystem. Only 1 thing could make it better, allowing my phone to be paired to multiple pc’s. Eg my work desktop and then my laptop.

Pictures selected one at a time. The app seems to work quite well, but unfortunately you have to select the pictures one at a time and if you want to transfer 1000 pictures it’s very tedious. Better to try some other method if you have lots of pictures.

Easy Peasy. I’m NOT tech savvy at all but wanted to put my photos on my computer. Downloaded the app and followed the instructions, done!!

Quick drop. Very fast

Eats up your storage. This app is awesome for photo transfer but delete and refresh it every once a while or else the cache will take a ton of space. Found it was using up 70gb at its worst.

Not working anymore. Used to work great! But now it needs to be updated because i cannot access the app. I have a iphone 13 with most recent iOS update

Lives up to its name. This is very good! You could both send videos from your mobile to pc, or pc to mobile. Just awesome! How’s no problems with it.

Keeps closing. I choose the pictures I needed to QuickDrop and now I have them uploading into my photo album but it’s froze and when I go into the QuickDrop app it opens than closes out and it won’t allow me to open the app!!

First time. I just bought a HP envy 360 love the computer first thing I did was install HP quick drop it’s awesome

Easy transfer. Works for one device, but would be great if I could connect 2 iPhones or iPads to the desktop.

Glitchy as Heck. Since the last update there are several glitches that occur constantly, and it doesn’t seem like they’ll ever get fixed. I highly recommend using Microsoft Edge’s similar feature instead, especially since it works on non-HP laptops too

Doesn’t work for me. It no longer lets me transfer photos or videos to or from my laptop which was the whole reason I had it. I’ve tried to fix it and I’ve reached out to HP but it doesn’t work anymore.

Force clear cache. I have to uninstall the app after large file transfers because for some reason traces/cache of them seem to remain in storage. I suggest a manual clear cache button to purge the unnecessary files.

Cluster.... This is a mess! I open orbit on the computer, then the only thing I can find with that icon in the iOS App Store is file drop. It worked for one file, then I had to re-pair it as it disconnected. It looks like it’s going to be as lame as every other windows attempt to play nice with the rest of the world.

Only works for a few files at a time. I was hoping Quick Drop would finally be my solution for transferring all my iPhone images to my PC. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to transfer more the 4 or 5 images at a time. Why the limits HP?????

Have to Unpair/Re-pair For Each Session. Each time I want to connect two devices, I have to first unpair them and then re-pair. This is inconvenient!

Poor. Had to pair/unpair/pair about four time to get this junk to work. Still doesn’t appear in sharing menu when selecting photos. Maybe I’ll just have to pair four more times.

Then my phone won’t even allow me to unpair 75% of the time. Literally 10x more work than emailing a link which it’s supposed to be more convenient for

Not working.. I uninstalled and reinstalled Hp QuickDrop on my pc and iPhone, to refresh some minor files transferring issues. The app is not leaving the QR/Pin matching page on both devices. App seems broken. Windows 11 & iOS 17 are being used.

Crashing.. App keeps crashing every time I press share on the mp4 so I can download it. No matter what I do, it still crashes. Looked it up on the internet how to fix it and I see people complaining about it but yes solution to the problem.

Pretty awesome. There are a couple minor “bugs” as of this comment, like the thumbnail not showing on my pc after I push a photo, but in general this app is very, very cool. Quick, seamless, convenient.

Crashes upon Start. Opening the app on iphone se 2023 and it always crashes. I think it is some memory/ram problem, since this phone has low ram.

Works so slow. Does not work in a timely matter. Sometimes will it send documents even though the app is not closed and I am connected to my internet at home. Needs work on software and app to speed mobility.

Cannot Use App Due to not Having Quickdrop on my PC. I’ve Heard Really good things about Quickdrop, however, my PC doesn’t have it installed, but instead it has HP Orbit installed, which means i cannot connect my Phone to My PC using Quickdrop. Will Improve My Raiting once i can Try our the App Myself.
