Love it! Just what I needed, but…. (June 2022) Would be great to export to MIDI! Or to have a handle on the play head that I could slide it from left to right without sliding the whole view of the timeline. Overall, this app is simple and it does something I don’t think many other apps do. That said, it appears to be in it’s early stages. With support, this could be amazing. Imagine what we could do if this exported to MIDI? We could record ourselves whistling a tune, then exporting the piano roll to GarageBand or some other DAW, and then changing it to be a piano or guitar! These little fundamental things could change this app from being just a novel idea to being a powerful tool! 3 stars. Is really cool, has potential, but is missing it as of right now.

Doesn’t show notes it displays. I’ve been trying to get really low notes on here and down to C2 it’s fine but when I get down to B1 or below no matter how clean it is it never showed up. Either make it so it works that low or don’t display it going that low

This app is really good especially since it’s in the early stages. It’s really responsive I love it can’t wait to see how it is in the future

Crashes and forces me to redownload,. This app is good and what it does. When it works… But recently I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app multiple times because it will refuse to work if I switch apps while having it open. Please fix this other wise it would be a 5 out of 5 :)

Doesn’t work. The free version worked better! As soon as I paid and download the full version none of the functions worked!

Not accurate. In complete silence, when i hold a note, the pointer is still jumping up and down by over an octave. every other vocal pitch monitor i have used on this device has worked better. this app is utter garbage.

App did not allow looking at past history even after paying for the pro version. In a voice session my coach instructed me to get this app and I discovered it didn’t allow me to scroll back in history there was an upgrade button that said it would allow looking at history but even after I paid for it, it did not allow scrolling back into history. I feel scammed and my coach felt terrible about what happened. There’s also no way in app to report bugs that I could find. Deeply frustrating experience.

How do you even use it?. I’m giving you 5 stars so you read this. It needs a tutorial. Also, I feel like I cannot do anything without paying for it.

Does not work. Am singing the scales—-nothing on the screen!! No activity at all. Just the notes on the left side and an invitation to upgrade. Save your money.

Won’t let me delete app?. No tutorial or explanation how to use it and now it won’t let me uninstall it

Missing an obvious feature. Works well but why can’t you play a note on the keyboard? For people who need to hear the note to help them sing? I would pay for the app if it had this feature.

Doesn’t Detect Higher Notes Well. Edit: Developer responded and increased the range that the app can register. I sang up to F6 just now to make sure (it couldn’t register anything above C5 before without bugging out) and it registering the notes just fine. Much better now with that fix! Good app unless you can sing in the 5th register or higher. It has a lot of trouble detecting higher notes. I’d say anything above C5 doesn’t register a lot of the time. It especially doesn’t register notes in the 6th register.

Stops working after second use. Deleted and reinstalled the app, and on both downloads it stops working (monitoring audio) after the first use of the app.

Been waiting for something like this. Works great. Would like to see a sensitivity adjuster in a future update if possible, monitor kept picking up my heating vent as an A0 lol

Range. I like this app my only dislike is that it doesn’t pick up whistle notes or vocal fry. Other wise this would have been 5 star. Other then that please keep up the good work!

It’s too sensitive. I have to continuously sing or else it will pick up all of the very low octave sounds around the house or something. It’s very annoying when I want to take a pause and then it moves all the way down to octave 0. Other than that, I’ve been needing something like this! That is my only issue

Only Works When i Reboot my Phone. The app only works if i reboot my phone. Then when i leave or close the app, it no longer works. The measure bar scrolls but it doesn’t record or show the bars. The app is also difficult to understand what it is doing. There are no instructions.

App is garbage. This thing is completely useless unless you pay $5

Please update. Please fix this app so that it does not lose the loaded saved song when the app is simply backgrounded; I switch between a couple of apps while working and Nail The Pitch loses what was previously loaded when brought to the foreground again and I have to reload the saved song which had already been loaded previously. SUPER ANNOYING! Otherwise great app! 👍👏👏☮️

Need fix. Good app but automatic note jumping up and down is very annoying. Make a setting to disable automatic up and down movement. This is very disturbing and distracting. Noise gate level Exposed to the maximum does not help, moving away from the microphone does not help either. there are still micro jumps of notes if you pull a note for a long time, and the sound has at least a couple of percent bring artifacts like rasp or airiness or just micro crackle of ligaments. Like fry

Great!. Simple, no frills, but exactly what I needed and haven’t been able to find anywhere else! I wanted a visual, real-time representation of vocal pitch to help voice students better recognize when they are singing sharp or flat. Haven’t jumped into the pro version yet but so far this app does exactly what it says it will do! Love seeing how the current version incorporates [*reasonable*] feedback from previous reviewers; evidence of considerate and attentive developers who care about their product and users.

I love this app. I’ve been working on extending my range and this app is perfect (after you pay for the unlock to be able to hear yourself). One request - when playing back audio, can you have left/right swiping allow you to scroll forward and back in the recording? Perhaps just jumping to wherever the user lets go? Otherwise it’s kinda hard to hear a section multiple times or skip over the boring parts of a recording :)

Good app. This app is a great tool I tested with my pano and it is fairly accurate, but it could be better a few suggestions. 1 have a import export function so I can record in an app like Dolby on then import to this app 2 add a pano function so people can listen to the note

WHAT?. I open the app and it starts recording? It recorded noise in the room?? What does it expect from me?

It doesn’t launch. I was excited to try this, but it doesn’t launch on my iPhone 11

Won’t Load. I downloaded the app thinking it would help me with my singing; however, as soon as I gave the app access to the microphone it crashed. I then deleted the app and tried again only for the app to crash again. Good thing I didn’t pay any money for this.

The App Straight-Up Doesn’t Work?. The pitch detection doesn’t work, I’ve given it access to my microphone each time I downloaded it and it shows that my microphone is working, but there’s no pitches showing.

Great. Excellent very helpful detects every sound I make tells you were you are!!

Overall good app but I can’t see what notes I hit cause it keeps going. I just need a pause button so I can go back and see what notes I hit

So much potential.. Wish I could access my files elsewhere. Also would be nice if I had the option to playback the sound slower to analyze my voice.

Great Idea!. Love the idea of this app. I would just recommend perhaps making a tutorial, making a vertical view on the app possible, and just echoing everyone else with the ability to adjust sensitivity.

Fantastic app!!. This is a great app for singers .. one thing would make it even more awesome, the ability to import MP3’s (eg. vocal isolations) or midis so you could practice trying to match the pitch of songs in real time. That would take it to a whole new level.

Not Helpful. Was looking for an app that could record my singing and save my chords/noted (to be used later) This app only shows what pitch you’re singing in (in a very unflattering format)
