Too many ads. I think the content is good but every 2 pages I get an ad and it breaks my concentration.

Why would you lock the emergency stuff. People probably really need to learn those signs... for real. You may want to rethink that. Just saying

Some hard to find signs. But also fake categories. Like education! Where are the signs for school levels, subjects, forms of assessments, assignments, school supplies—there’s nothing

It’s okay. I wanted to learn ASL to communicate with my friend. This is okay for simple conversation but it costs money for the important things. This needs improvement.

Need to pay for most words. You need to pay for most words hard to use as translation

It was good. I thought that it was a good app because you could learn but it had someone silly stuff that you had to buy.

To many adds and I don’t like that you have to pay. I think that there should be less adds because I just want to focus on learning asl And I don’t like how you have to pay for words.

Basically nothing to do for free. The app says you have to pay to get more features but there are basically no features you can do for free

Amazing resource. I’m an college freshman and have taken ASL 1 and 2. This app is beautifully made, with a large dictionary with more than 5,000 signs. I first bought this app on my iPad and really enjoyed using it. I also just got a new iPhone and I downloaded it to my phone. It looks so smooth on my phone! Looking forward to using it offline! Best Asl ap by far nice. This is the best app they have all the words I’ve looked for many literature about ASL and it’s very easy to use very well constructed if you’re looking to learn sign language oh totally amazing love it been looking for this thank you Jessica

Good but I don’t like having to pay JUST to learn ASL. Why do I have to pay $6-$7 just to learn pretty much everything in this app, I am becoming a ASL teacher and my Professor told me to try a different app cause you have to pay for most of the signs, but I thought I would give it a try. Now I am using a different app.

Ads. There shouldn’t be ads for an app that is allowing me to learn something for a good cause. ASL is an art and I shouldn’t have to pay for it.

Not very good.. There’s only a few signs you can see for free and then you have to pay $6/month to use it!

Wonderful app. I got this app and purchased the in app purchase to unlock all signs and I am learning sign language for chorus to be the chorus concert sign language interpreter and this app is helping me learn really fast.

Better than expected!. I have a beginner to intermediate understanding of ASL and I double checked some of the usual misused signs and I was not disappointed! This app is much better than other higher paid apps and I’m so grateful it’s a one time purchase option. I detest monthly paid apps that don’t offer much once you purchase them.

Where are October and November?. They are missing from the list of months and seasons. And I don’t think I saw Spring or Fall/Autumn either. And none of the option answers to the ‘Test Your Knowledge’ in that section responds when I select it. I really want to like & use this app! I’ll check in periodically to see if it’s been updated.

Blocked. Great app to use. Should offer everything locked for free. Helps make it easier to learn without paying to learn.

8 stars. I absolutely like this BUT the camera looks too blurry and far out.. but other than that, I’m so impressed that there’s extra extra than every other app! ❤️‍🔥

WORTH $5.99. I got the pack for $5.99 and love it no adds, any word I want I may write another review later on since i just got this but I love it so far!

Not what I expected. I searched for the word different. It brought me to a screen to upgrade for all categories. I paid $ for the upgrade and again typed in the search “different”. Now it wants me to pay for another upgrade and is not showing me the sign for different, after paying for the category. Waste of money.

Rate 2. It started out as a great learning tool for my 30 year old grandson, but then to learn….here come charges. So I will seek actual free. Some of us aren’t rich and can’t afford to pay for a program. Ty

Easy to learning. This app makes learning sign language fun and easy!! By far the best one ive used so far.

Looks promising. The problem I have is it opens a full screen ad an the X is in an area that you can’t click to close the ad, forcing me to close the app. I might have purchased this if the ad wasn’t so intrusive

Took 4 minutes to DELETE. Well, thought I was on to something until the first gambling ad appeared. It would not get me back to the Signing App. Now to find the sign for “SUCKER”!

Lessons? Errors!. Really cool that you would alert me that my daily lesson is ready. Unfortunately, I don’t see any lessons in the app, only ala-cart words and categories. Came across a spelling mistake right away. It messes with me for a minute because I had to figure out what was wrong.

Great app. Love this app. Videos are nice and I like that I can test my skills.

Rating. The actions are done far too fast and a closer image would help to see the hand gestures more clearly. The images are often at the bottom of the screen and hard to distinguish.

So many incorrect signs. disappointed as we’ve been trying to self-teach signing and come to find out several are incorrect signs. Check out ‘daddy’ on here and then ‘daddy’ on every other page on the internet, etc… lots are incorrect

Have to Pay for Every Single Sub Category of Sign Videos. The app set-up looks good and nicely put together, but each category of sign videos costs from $8 to $2. I’d like to support, but the money adds up and budgeting is real. Should have ads so it’s more economically accessible. Could have helped people learn more about ASL instead of making people pay for every. single. pack.

Sloppy signing? But decent dictionary. I'm hearing and I use this app for dictionary/practice but I am concerned after paying for the app and viewing the videos that many of the signs are missing correct facial expressions (for example "Are you alright?" as a yes/no question should have raised eyebrows, however the video for this expression did not show any eyebrow movement or other non manual markers) however as I am not Deaf or a skilled signer I can't be sure, but some other reviews seem to agree with me. If you are just starting ASL I cannot recommend this app because it might teach you bad habits. Also many of the videos cut off at the beginning or end of the sign, so I feel it would be beneficial to re record most if not all of the sign videos.

Incorrect signs. I wanted to like this app. I took several years of Asl and am desperately trying to find an app that just lets me drill random words to build/maintain my vocabulary. I don’t mind paying at all either, essentially every good language learning app in existence has a paywall. My issue is that a number of the signs are just plain wrong???

Misleading. Thought it was a free app. Now you want money & more money at every turn. Terrible. You should be educating people.

Good for reference only.. I got this to try to learn and paid for the study pack. The issue is that it pops up saying my lesson is ready but there isn’t any lessons. It just pulls up the alphabetical list of videos.

Sloppy Signs. A decent amount of the signs are sloppy and just wrong. Like for example A to Z is the same as ABC’s and S the pointer finger and the middle finger aren’t raised at all. Alright app but sloppy signs and needs work.

Great app; could improve in some places. I think the app is great! Easy to understand, use and learn with! Some possible improvements: 1. “Test Your Knowledge” section could use clearer symbology when showing correct and incorrect answers—checks/circles and X’s (the current red and green color changes are hard to see for colorblind people, like me) 2. Instead of just example videos for some sections, pictures would be nice too. That way users don’t need to replay the video multiple times to see the sign

Best app to learn ASL. This app does an amazing job at explaining ASL language! The videos are really helpful, and it makes learning sign language fun and easy. I would definitely recommend this app to everyone!

Incorrect signs. Out of 20 signs that I looked at, half of them were incorrect. I was looking for an app that would help my students learn vocabulary, this is not it. I like the structure of it, but the signing is wrong, plain and simple. Do not recommend. And I hate that I had to pay for it in order to see the videos.

Amazing app to learn and affordable. This app is great to learn sign language, and of all the apps like this one those one is very affordable. Test your knowledge helps you to keep up to date and test your knowledge on what you’ve learned. Thank you great app

What I think. I think this app is pretty cool, but the only problem I have, is that for some of the more daily or important things that you would most likely use are locked, which is kinda annoying and can be dangerous in case your signing to someone who is death and if there is an emergency. But other than that, I think the app is pretty good!

Learning to sign. A great, easy to use self study app. Could do with diagrams or written instructions below the video. Or audio instructions as an additional dimension to the visual. Despite this- would recommend.

Eh. It’s not great. It works, I guess. But you have to pay for over half of the signs. And the teacher signs way too fast! You can slow it down, but then it just looks like a blur!

Scam!! Took my money, no premium unlock. I paid to unlock everything in the app and it did not process the premium unlock. As soon as I paid through the Apple store, the app said there was a server error and now it won’t recognize that I paid full price to unlock everything. In fact, the app has a feature to restore purchases but it’s saying there’s nothing to restore. So it’s straight up took my money. I emailed the developer 1 week ago and have not gotten a response. I also noticed that the app said it was a lifetime unlock for a small price... it’s not. It’s 79.99 for a year or 7.99 monthly. I checked my apple subscription. Total scam.

Videos. Sometime the hands in the videos are cut off. It’s important to see the position of both the hand(s) and positions of the fingers

A few things missing but a good app. There are a few signs that really should be available (the sign for mother being one) that aren't & when I try to contact the app support it re directs you to the site of a different app which is frustrating. That being said the videos themselves are clear & well done, It lets you save favourite signs (something most of the other ASL apps don't do surprisingly) & does have most signs you will need including some great phrases I wasn't expecting. If they add those missing signs It would be a five star rating. Still enjoying this app:)
