Wanderlog - Travel Planner Comments & Reviews 2026

Perfect for an avid traveler. I really like this app a lot! I don’t normally leave reviews too often but this one I felt pretty compelled believer review. I’m a pretty avid traveler, and I would say that I plan at least three trips a year, one of which going out of the country. This app has been so useful in planning my trip to Costa Rica. I like that you’re able to plug-in all of your reservations for ,lodging and transportation, flight info, etc. in this app. I also like that you’re able to share it with others and it really beats making a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet LOL I will say that the only feature that’s a little wonky is the plugging in of hotels using the forwarding email feature. I’ve had to go back and manually input my info. Not a big deal since I was used to doing that myself for so long. I wish there was a spot where you could plug in your reservation information for your excursions. Maybe I am totally missing that in the app, but it would be a nice feature if it is not currently available. I really hope this app continues to grow and improve because I am a big fan! I also really like the recommendations feature for wherever you’re going. You can search for highly rated activities and things that people normally do in that area and it makes trip planning easier. Great job with this app!

Great App for Travel Planning and Itinerary. I'm usually skeptical of travel planning apps as they usually only have basic functions that is just slighly better than excel sheets. Boy was I wrong. Wanderlog was different from the get-go with quick and friendly customer service chat. I love their map feature that lets me visually see where events are located so I can plan ahead. I didn't use the premium route optimization feature, but may upgrade in the future to check it out. My one complaint is the lack of manual personalization for itinerary. It locks you in for specific dates and hotel check-ins and check-outs are all at the top of the timeline, with no way to add a time or manually move down the itinerary, so on days where you have to switch hotels, it looks a bit messy. I also had days where me and my travel partner did separate things before meeting up again and would have loved a way to customize a "Option A" or "B's Day Plans" within the itinerary for groups who have separate plans but can still enjoy the group planning aspect of the apps. Overall, LOVED it and I anticipate there will continue to be cool new updates and features.

Love This App. As an avid traveler it is very important to me to find a user friendly app I like to help me stay organized. I have really enjoyed using Wanderlog for travels and chaotic logistics while keeping loved ones back home informed of where I’m going, without allowing them to edit my plans. One of my favorite features is that the app pulls in suggested activities to add based on your trip location - I.e. if you put in Paris, France, options would display to add the Eiffel Tower, or local museums. Back when Google Trips was a thing I really enjoyed this feature. My only suggestion is that the paid subscription cost be lowered - As a self-booking and self-planning traveler who doesn’t use a travel agent I’m pretty good at keeping organized myself when it comes to travel. So I can’t justify spending another $16/month on another subscription. However, if the yearly cost were closer to ~$15 I would upgrade to pro, simply for the automation features.

Excellent. Just get it!. I got the trial and upgraded to the pro for the extra features. I had a problem signing in through Facebook but was quickly solved by the developer during a prompt email exchange. Features are excellent. Love the lay out. Just start to enter your trip details either manually or by uploading files or emails and the trip builds itself separate travel accommodation and things yo do itineraries are well integrated. The explore section is awesome allowing you to review the sights restaurants and things to do in detail and add the specific ones to your itinerary for each day, then optimize the journey. Level of detail supplied is perfect. Using Wonderlig is almost as much fun as the traveling itself. Certainly helps to build anticipation. Google Maps integration is excellent. Makes planning a breeze especially with others as collaborative planning is well integrated.

Easy peasy - Import itineraries and auto generate suggested activities?!. I purchased Wanderlog about 4 months ago and used it haphazardly for guests visiting me but it wasn’t until I tried it out with a slog of a trip (10 flights and 5 cities) to SE Asia that it really came in handy. I simply forward all of my flights and hotel reservations to a designated inbox and voila, it built it out. The idea of this trip had been gestating for awhile however booking it was last minute, and while we have a few friend in-country that can guide us you never want to rely on them entirely because they’re doing their own thing so I use the AI generated feature to create some suggested activities. Even now I think I’ve only scratched the surface of what I can do and looking forward to many trips to new lands heretofore unexplored because it was frankly intimidating with the options, and when you’re traveling into time zones +13 hours ahead in places that friends and family have never visited it helps to have this planner.

Itching to plan another trip with this app!. I had been dreaming of a travel tool like this, hoping someone would build it, and now it exists! I usually hate planning travel because there isn’t a great way to put everything down in one place and organize your trip how you want it, but this app changes the game entirely. I just went to Iceland, and using online guides, blogs, and some of the guides in the app itself, I was able to collect all the places I wanted to see into a list, while also viewing their locations on a map. I was then able to create a day-by-day itinerary based on the geographic proximity of those places- the app makes this super easy, like rearranging songs in a playlist. I used this to help me decide where I wanted to stay each night, and was able to add in my hotel reservations. This alone helped me plan the entire trip, but then during the trip, I was able to navigate quickly with a link (using the map app of my choice) and add costs to monitor my budget. You can even share your trip with others and calculate how much you owe each other (though I didn’t use this feature). All of the above is just the free version of the app! I cannot recommend this app enough. I’m already trying to pick a next location just to use the app (never mind going on the actual vacation haha). Thanks to the creators for building this!

Room for improvement. I won’t repeat what others have said about the pros. I would recommend adding a custom category field for expenses. I would also recommend adding the option to have private expenses if you're splitting with just one person out of the group or if you'd like to log your own expenses privately. There is also no way to track individual expenses. It only shows the group expense total and each individual's debt to one another but does not show a total for each individual's total spend. I'd also like the option to input more than one expense per location. I could not input 2 expenses paid for by two different people at the same location because I tagged the place. That needs to be fixed. I would also like the option to itemize expenses. So within each expense I would like to be able to itemize the total. For example - 50$ restaurant bill. Person A ordered a $20 plate, person B a $25 play and person C only had a $5 drink. These features would make the app a 10 out of 10 in my opinion! Otherwise, this is a great app. Thanks!

This is a fantastic app!. This is the first review I can remember writing for an app. However, I have been so happy with this app that I wanted to give back in the form of a review. I have only used the free portion of the app and still find it fantastic. I have now planned a trip to Ireland, Las Vegas and Japan with this app. It is incredibly helpful to be able to start planning by putting in places I’m interested in going to and eventually making them into an itinerary. Each place you add allows you to add in your own notes, the hours and the cost of the place. It also gives you a link to the website of the place and some general information from the web. It was so helpful to have all that information together. Plus it helps you with locations on the map and ideas of how far places are from one another. It didn’t really help with trains in Japan, but it was still great for so many other things. I was even able to keep a budget for the trip. I have been recommending this app to everyone and I am so happy that I found it. Keep up the great work!

Simply the best!. I do not know that I’ve ever been more excited about an app. I am planning a long road trip with multiple stops in multiple cities and this app has been absolutely perfect for that purpose. It takes the best things from multiple other apps and puts them all in one place for my convenience. Planning has actually been fun instead of tedious because of this app. I believe this one app will eliminate the need to use five or six others (Tripit, TripAdvisor, Roadtrippers, Google Maps, GPS My City, Yelp…you get the idea), and it has a beautiful interface.I have not found anything about it that I do not like yet. I’m so excited to work with my friend on our trip and will be really interested to see what we’re able to do with it once we are actually traveling, because it seems to add additional capabilities for chronicling the trip while you are on it as well. Love love love! ❤️ I would spend money for this app, and you will almost never hear me say that about anything, but it is just that useful! If you are going on a road trip and want to have any sort of plan, this app will help you. One of the coolest things is the level of detail you are able to include. Seriously fantastic resource for any road trip!

Rare App that Delivers on Promises, and More!. One thing about me…….I hate downloading new apps. Yes, even in 2024 I’m skeptical of new digital tools, cautious about phone bloat, and especially as a type-A travel spreadsheet planner I wasn’t sure what Wanderlog could do for me. But ah, I’m so happy to be proven wrong. I used Wanderlog for the first time on a recent trip and was thrilled by its functionality, design and how it anticipated my needs. I was happily surprised it works on desktop too, which is where the bulk of my pre-planning happens. The app was far superior than any of my spreadsheets when it comes to on-the-go referencing, mapping, and rearranging of itinerary. I used the free version and it met all my needs! If I hadn’t gotten an eSIM perhaps I would’ve considered upgrading for the offline version, but it wasn’t necessary this time. I loved the budget section and used it multiple times a day to track purchases. A few small suggestions: I’d love if I could “star” currencies. I toggled between 2 during my trip depending on how I paid, and each time I had to scroll through the whole list— would be cool if it was 1 step less. I also wish there was a default option to tag every entry with the date I submitted it— I tracked expenses as I went, so the day was always accurate. But it was too many steps when I was on the go, to manually enter the date. Bc of this, I couldn’t use the bar graph option that breaks down costs per day. Anyway can’t wait to use this again for my next trip!

Great app and service. I love this app! I have been looking for an app like this for a long time. Before, I had to create several spreadsheets, one for each aspect of my trip (itinerary with dates; notes for each site to visit; amount of time and miles between sites; whether driving, walking, boating, flying, or using metro train or bus; websites for each place; cost and whether my tickets were already purchased; my confirmation numbers, etc.) and then creating a route for each day on Google Maps and saving it so I could access it later, quickly. The one thing that I have noticed that needs tweaking is the mileage. Your mileage from place to place is not accurate; at least, it's not the same as what it shows for the same route on both Google and Apple Maps. Thanks so much. You have made my travel planning so much easier! I can't wait to put it to use for our first trip to Europe (Germany, Switzerland, and Italy).

The BEST app for planning any type of travel. I first used Wanderlog to plan a small family trip over the holidays. After the experience and ease of use for that trip, I was hooked. I bought the Pro version (which is WELL WORTH $50) so I could have automatic email scanning and some other features. All I can say is, no matter the size of the group, Wanderlog makes planning so effortless. I often find myself using it for personal trips too because all my travel documents and reservations are in one place. Gone are the days of manually filling out a spreadsheet and then trying to view it on your phone while running through the airport or digging thru your 64,000 unread emails to find your confirmation number. Seriously, this app does it all. I love the work they are doing and with new features being added constantly, this app just gets better and better. Hats off to the team at Wanderlog, I don’t have a single complaint about this app!!!

EXACTLY my vision for a travel planning app. I’m usually the type to haphazardly put things into a Google doc as my trip “planning”, since I never trusted any fancy apps or websites enough to be just what I was looking for and feared planning part of my trip only to run into disappointment and have to start over somewhere else due to a lack of necessary features. But with a weeklong trip to California with multiple destinations coming up recently, I wanted to maximize our schedule and stumbling across this app was PERFECT for that. It was exactly what I would envision creating myself if I had any computer skills whatsoever, and the app was quite simple to use both on desktop and mobile, even on the free/basic plan. Inputting hotels, locations, and timing for stops was a breeze, and I LOVED that it calculated the drive time between each stop, including the drive to our hotel for each night! Being able to see the entire map zoomed out with each day color-coded was so freaking cool too. I am so glad I found this app and if you’re a maximizing Type A travel planner like me you’ll love it too 😄

Excellent travel planning and management app. We used Wanderlog to plan and manage a recent 22-day trip to Spain. We couldn’t be happier, especially with how comprehensively the free version met our needs. We primarily used the “place” tab to obtain comprehensive information about the searched place (it gives a general explanation, physical address with Google Maps link, hours of operation, website address, phone number). Once an event or place is added to your itinerary it can easily be moved from one date/time to another. This flexibility makes planning simple. We loved the ability to specify visit time and add cost. The price window allows you to track budget item-by-item, and it keeps a running tab for the entire trip. It also allows you to allocate costs among trip members. As for sharing, you can share the entire trip with fellow travelers and necessary loved ones. During our trip we accessed trip details on our phones and other devices via the Wanderlog App. We love this app. The free version almost seems too good to be true, even though it is. We’re going to upgrade simply because the site is so worth it.

I will give it another try. I was confused about how to add something from my “Places to Visit” list onto a specific day of my itinerary. The reason for this I think is the name of the options you get when you long press a place from the list on the overview tab. The Rearrange and Move does not let you add a place to a specific itinerary day, however, the next option Select to Copy/Move apparently does (discovered this after getting a quick response to my previous review). I guess I gave up trying when the first option of “Move” didn’t do what I wanted. Perhaps adding some clarity would have helped me. Like an option called “Add to a specific day” and have a pop up menu that has check boxes of each day that you can select. Another issue I had was adding a checkin at my hotel early afternoon and then continuing on to see other things and return to the hotel afterwards. The developer gave me an image of exactly what I wish it would appear as, but I still today don’t see an option to make my hotel show up as a stop like that instead of a purple block at the top. I suppose I can add the hotel as a completely separate “Places to Visit” but that is an extra step. Maybe just allow me to arrange the purple blocks in sequence with other itinerary components?

Perfect Travel Planning App. Im so glad i found this Wanderlog app. I love to travel and have been known to sometimes go overboard in planning. I was skeptical that I would find an app that would actually be helpful and not make planning more cumbersome. I tried a few other apps but were each missing features I needed in planning. I love that Wanderlog has a general notes section for the whole trip AND allows you to add multiple notes to each day. I love that the itinerary can be easily consulted and you can title it in a way that easily shows what city or activity you have for a specific day. It’s also so nice to have all of my reservations in one spot whether it’s hotel, restaurant, etc. It’s faster to use the app than dig through my emails. I’m currently traveling in Europe and have been using the explore feature as well which lets you add ideas for activities from sites like trip advisor and other travel recommendations. I didn’t think I would actually use that feature but it’s really helped me find cool things to do and see each day. I find the paid version of the app worth it for the ease and organization.

The best and only travel planning app you need. Thank you to the developers who put in their hard work to create this app - its amazing. I tried a couple of others before but would always delete them after a couple of days as they would not have all the functions I wanted. Recently, I discovered this app and I have been using it and playing with it almost every day. It is super fast, no bugs, has suggestions from many resources. Finds the flights, hotels, attractions and restaurants fast with all the info in one place. You literally have ALL the info you need fornyour trips. I just simply love it! Its also free. You can subscribe for a premium for some extras but it will still have all the functions you need on the free version. I probably will sign up for the premium to support the app so it can keep growing and getting even better. Will recommend to everyone! Thanks again!

Travel agent? Never heard of her.. When we decided to go on a 17 day long trip to Europe (3 countries and our first ever trip out of the US), I thought for sure we’d need a travel agent to help us keep our lives straight. In an attempt to save money, I did some research on the good ol World Wide Web, and discovered Wanderlog. This app made our trip SO EASY to plan and was SO helpful when we were actually on the trip! For a few months before the trip, I was able to look up some key places I wanted to go, and just with a quick tap, add them to my itinerary. It automatically let me know how long it would take to get there from the previous item on my itinerary, allowed me to move things around by just dragging them to its new spot on the list. Every time you add a new place, it plots it on the map and I was able to move things around in seconds if i saw that my daily activities were not in the same area. Also - being able to just forward confirmation emails for flights and hotels straight to the app and it auto loads that info for you too?? Chefs kiss. Anyhow once I was actually in Europe I pulled up Wanderlog over and over again in order to remind myself what’s next, get ready for each day, and even add a few extra things based on suggestions it made itself. Long story short I’m obsessed with this app and I will use it every time I travel anywhere!

Work in software and recognize a great app when I see one. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this app. I am a Type-A personality, who researches and plans things down to the last detail, and works on software applications every day in my 9 to 5. If this app can please me, it will definitely please you. I have bragged more about this app then the actual trip I went on and have convinced several people to try it out for their next adventure too. The attention to detail and tiny easements you wouldn’t think of (like automatically routing you back to your hotel every night so you know how long to get home) are phenomenal. It works so flawlessly for adding attachments, integrating flights and hotel reservations, and even adding checklists and notes. I also want to note the server went down on me once and I contacted the company. Not only did the owner personally respond to me and have the app back online within the hour, but they also followed up to ensure I had no more issues. This is incredible and I recommend to absolutely everyone.

Excellent Travel Planner and Tool While Traveling. I have always done a lot of research and planning before trips but have made notes on paper or in digital docs and spreadsheets. I am so happy too have found Wanderlog. I enjoyed keeping my lists of restaurants to try and places to visit in the app planner and then was easily able to move the places we actually visited to the date in the itinerary to serve as a journal and record of our trip. The app is also very helpful to find places to eat on the fly to see how far the places you’ve listed in advance are to where you are physically in a certain city and call them or make a reservation if needed. The app is also designed to let you collaborate with your fellow travelers so they can add to the lists or add comments. I have already seen some updates to the app and will look forward to seeing its features grow. Tech support is terrific as well as I had a few questions as I was getting started and received help very quickly. Fantastic app and I can’t wait to use it for my next trip.

Needs some improvement but pro is still worth it. I’m planning a trip last minute to nyc and decided to use the app and decided to go pro for the sorting option. After all, every address in nyc says just “nyc”’ not the borough, so I was starting to get overwhelmed trying to sort everything in a way that made sense. This is the best part of pro, I can enter any place and it will sort for me. The issue is it doesn’t sort considering all items, just the ones in that day, so I decided to dump all of the places I want to visit for my entire trip all in my first day, use the auto sort and then where there were large distances break those chunks off into separate days. As someone with ADHD who hyper fixates on what I find interesting, this worked great for me, but I still think it could be improved upon since it took me awhile. I tried the auto generate, but it just had nyc which is too general for my purposes. The other things I think they should consider or Include is weather which is a huge factor in travel planning, and staying at a friends or family house which wouldn’t include a confirmation email. I found a workaround for this was to create my own confirmation email and forward it , but this is unnecessary.. All that being said , this app is still proving to be a great help for the price.

It’s that person on your trip with the plan, without all the anxiety. Or guilt. Look, when you go on a trip, you ought to have even sort of a rough plan. Sometimes you don’t. Sometimes you sit in your high dollar Air BnB in your underwear wishing you had something to do besides get takeout and stream Into the Spiderverse again. Don’t act like you haven’t done this. We see everything. The point here is that if you took that trip by yourself to avoid all the griping from the person you go on trips with who actually has their act together, now there is a quieter less guilt and anxiety inducing version. Wanderlog. Yep, you will love it or you are wrong. And you’re allowed to be wrong, skeptical type A person who is afraid of being replaced. Don’t worry, it makes you more tolerable. It will take even your annotated tape flagged agenda book to a level of organizations so fine and detailed that even you will be able to have fun. Subsequently, if incidentally, allowing whomever you go with to also have fun. The fun stuff is there. All the less fun stuff is there. You can casually put it in some kind of order. Or not. It is actually as organized as you wanna be. You need this if you’re not that person and if you are that person you will wonder how you lived without it. And so will anyone else who still wants travel with you.

Game Changer. I have only used the free version of wanderlog, but MAN this app is so good!! This makes me never want to plan without it again. Makes it so easy to make lists of places you want to visit on a trip, and then can recommend an optimized order to go on. I haven’t used the optimized order, but used to plan in google docs / apple maps to have a map view of the places i have saved - this seamlessly combines those methods of planning in one place, and can even import your flight information and hotel / airbnb stay! It’ll show you how far things are from each other and you can select if you’ll be walking, driving or taking public transportation. That’s so helpful when trying to pack a trip with things to do but wanting to make sure you’re not overplanning. They can even provide recommendations of things to do in your destinations. Won’t even plan a trip without wanderlog ever again.

They are on the right track…. At first, I thought this app was exactly what I was looking for. I’m used to creating my own travel itineraries and I’m very picky. Right off the bat, there was a place to document my accommodations. But it isn’t compatible with Airbnb reservations and you cannot put in anything but a hotel/business name. If you put in the name of the your stay or the home address, it will not accept it. So I went straight to the itinerary tab and will most likely only use this section. I really like how you can rearrange “events” without deleting and re adding. I also like being able to add notes under different locations. I don’t like all of the little blurbs and descriptions that appear below my locations. If I’m adding it to my trip, I already know what it is. This just looks messy. I’d also like a way to finalize the itinerary or download it. On the app it’s not readable or clean. There are buttons everywhere and empty text boxes and all those extras. I just want a straight forward timeline that’s easy to reference when we are on the go. Lastly, if you don’t specifically put an event to return to your hotel every single night, the next day will tell you that you are so and so hours away from that days events. It seems like the developers are focused on the wrong features here, don’t overcrowd the interface, keep it simple and efficient.

Buggy App. Concept is good and app is feature rich. But it is also very buggy. Feels like it is still in beta. One of the most frequent problems I have encountered was adding a place to my itinerary. It finds the place and even shows the correct address. But then it just stops there. Place never got added and there is not even an error message. I had to restart the app many times. Sometimes that restored the functionality. Many times it did not. Very frustrating. An example of another problem is that the places you added would just stop showing on the map. A restart fixes this every time. But still annoying. Also, forcing a yearly subscription on people for an app they will likely only use for 2 weeks out of the year is not good, especially for such a buggy app. There should be a monthly subscription at a lower cost. Don’t we wish we can have the luxury of going on vacation for the entire year. Even if you were to spent 2 months planning your once in lifetime vacation, a 3-month subscription would suffice.

South Korea Trip. This app was perfect for us as we organized our family trip to South Korea. We visited 3 cities during our 14-day stay and I absolutely loved that we had everything organized from lodging to airplane info, to popular tourist attractions, and restaurants in one place that everyone had access to. I rated this app 5 stars because it really saved us time from having to research tons of attractions as it would always suggest options when we were planning our trip. I liked how the map feature allows you to visually see the course mapped out for the daily itinerary. That way we could see if we needed to adjust our plans if something was out of order. It was also easy to rearrange the items on our list. I appreciated how it allowed us to use Kakao maps although I will say we preferred using Naver maps because there was more English translation available. My only suggestion would be to have Naver Maps as an available option to go to when trying to get directions for South Korea trips as it would help an older person like me to travel, but my teens had no issues with copying/pasting addresses from Kakao to Naver and they were able to manage this app with finesse.

Impressed. I’m usually not one to leave a review, but I feel like this app deserves it. I’m extremely satisfied with this app and I highly advise people who travel to use this app. Especially if you travel with others or just like to have everything in one place. There’s a premium option that’s $32 for a year and if you think you like the benefits I’d go for it. However without doing the premium the app works wonderfully alone. I am able to add everything that I need for my trip and it’s all in one place. You can make a travel list, add flights, rentals. You’re also able to add places you want to go to the itinerary and then once you’ve added the place you get the details and links to the website plus you can see when places are open or closed. It takes a moment to learn the basics but they keep it quite simple and give you the information you need to use the app bit by bit as you use the app. The ability to share it with others and keep all expenses in one place makes this an even more amazing app for travel, THAT you can split expenses with other people you’ve added to the trip.

I still had a spreadsheet…. I’m old school…too young to be so, but I’ve been in the backwoods enough to know not to trust your phone. I know there is an offline option, but the ONLY (and I mean this…the app is amazing) thing I would add is to have it downloadable and printable. Albeit, I’m only proficient and not expert as a user so I may have missed it, but that would make this perfect. The app picked up my reservations and costs by linking to my email and helped me plan out the most efficient way to make my trip. I did use Mapquest, too, because that app is easier to do the mapping a round trip adventure without having to manually change the order of things in the app (ok, so maybe one more thing I’d add…get Mapquest to link to this), so I printed that out, but I did wish I didn’t also have to put activities and costs in a Google sheets. Because we were headed into extremely rural parts of Appalachia, I knew not to trust internet, battery life, or cell signal, but also knew I could possibly need information so I printed items out. If this app had that feature I’d use it solely to plan my trips- even day trips. As it was, this was an essential tool in planning an 8 day, 2000 mile, road trip. It exposed me to museums I didn’t know existed and taught me about new possible locations. I wish there were even more guides! I can write the Appalachia and Shenandoah one now :)

Best trip planner for group travel!. I am using Wanderlog to plan my wedding celebration abroad, and it is pretty much the perfect tool! I can organize my recommended hotels, historic sites, travel options, beaches, and more; create a detailed itinerary; and the app automatically populates all of that information onto an intuitive map that syncs with Google Maps. I am planning to share the itinerary/trip plan with my friends and family who are traveling with us, and I know it’ll make their travels so much more seamless. They will have all of the important information in one place right on their phone or other devices as they book flights and hotels, and they can use the app in-country to navigate to our various events. This app also has an incredible team providing top notch customer service. I cannot recommend this app enough for people looking to plan their own group travel! You won’t regret using Wanderlog!

Best travel Itinerary app out there!. As someone who still uses Excel spreadsheets to plan my trips this is an excellent resouce to really have all your info conveniently and practically in your phone. The fact you can view your day itinerary in your map with the route you're taking and filter them by day is beyond helpful! It's also amazing that it automatically fills in opening times, address, walking/driving/public transport times from one place to the other. As my trips gets closer I will definitely be signing up for the Pro version for just the month that I need it for the added features of linking tickets and other info from gmail (that's another thing that I like that hopefully stays: a lot of apps only offer the yearly subscription with no monthly option. I only travel once a year. I don't need the annual version). It is exactly what I was looking for and 1000% more!

Easy Free Travel Planner- Saved me!!. I’ve used Wanderlog for several trips- I can’t believe the functionality it provides for free. I love how quickly I can reorganize the order of events in a day, and the modes of travel when getting directions. The best: The app SAVED me $$$$ when in Japan! I can email it my hotel and the detail shows up in the app; After a very long travel day we got to our hotel and I was brain dead. The clerk checking us in showed me a room charge of over ¥180,000 yen, per night. I told the clerk that wasn’t right, but she insisted, and I didn’t have the energy to go back through all my emails in that moment. I remembered I had sent the email to the Wanderlog app- so I checked- it was all right there- including the rate I was quoted from the hotel of ¥72,000 yen. The clerk apologized and changed the bill. Probably saved me hours of my vacation standing at the front desk, trying to get my money back. THANK YOU WANDERLOG!! I use Wanderlog for trips foreign or domestic.

Perfection. This app is exactly what I needed, and worth every single penny. We have a 2 week trip coming up to Europe, and I was stressing out about keeping track of all of the moving pieces. This app consolidates all of the information into one place from flights, to hotels, to reservations of all kinds, to tours, or anything thing else you want to do. I love that I can save attachments in each specific itinerary item which is great to keep track of tickets. I also love that you can put notes within each itinerary item. The more you use the app, the more you’ll discover, and the more you’ll love it. You can tell that the designers are well traveled and have thought of so many details when it comes to the layout and content. The only thing I have had a hard time navigating is pulling in my flights and stays automatically from my emails, but I just used the forward email option and it pulled in all but one reservation perfectly and fast. Truly, I will recommend this to all of my friends that take trips big or small. This app will save my sanity which is worth way more than the cost of the yearly subscription.

Looks interesting - but how the heck does it work???. I spent about 10 minutes on this app and it was frustrating as heck. It started out okay - I entered the cities I wanted to visit, and got a curated list of suggested stops. Cool. But then I made the mistake of clicking on one of them. I still haven’t found my way back to that list of suggested stops. I even tried the search function, but it was stuck on the thing I’d clicked. No kidding - I couldn’t figure out how to get it to search things other than “[that place] to…”. This wasn’t the only frustrating thing. Like it let me add something to a new untitled list, but then figuring out how to find that list to give it a name, and then getting back to the search I was doing, was a nightmare. This looks like it has so much potential to be very useful, but the user interface is just too difficult to navigate. Maybe the result of too many overlapping features? I want to search “city to city,” have it show suggested stops, and then allow me to add those stops to a list. I don’t want to sit through a tutorial or have to learn through a series of dozens of pop up tips. If I can’t easily do that one thing - suggested stops, add to list - this app just doesn’t have any use for me, no matter how many features it has AFTER that fundamental first step. I’ll be back when and if you simplify the UI. Until then, unfortunately, I’ll need to plan my trip elsewhere.

Want to rate it 5 Stars!…. I LOVE this app (I have the free version). It’s fantastic and so so useful for planning. It was my new favorite app for planning an upcoming big trip. However, I couldn’t give it a full five stars for these reasons: The main and most frustrating issue I’ve been dealing with recently… there is an infinite amount of stops you can add to a trip, HOWEVER, the app completely lags or flat out refuses to work if you’ve added a lot of stops to any one trip. I found out by searching online that this has been an ongoing issue. Also, I wish I could alphabetize my trips or organize them manually. I’ve already set up about 30 trips and there is an option to sort…the icon for sort even has an AZ next to it. However it only gives me the option to sort by recently viewed or upcoming (based on date). Neither of those are helpful for me and so I need to visually scan through 30+ names for the trip I’m looking for each time and that’s frustrating. I contacted customer support about it about a week ago and it said they would get back to me within about 24 hours, but I never heard back. I highly recommend the app’s free version, but remember not to add too many (maybe not over 100 stops), or it will run infuriatingly slow. One more thing I would like is to be able to select a section of or individual stops and add them to other trips. As of now, that’s not an option, so I have to manually enter a location several times if I want it in different trips. (Which will be extra frustrating now that I have to move a ton of stops to a “different” trip in order for the app to stop lagging.)

The most incredible travel app ever made. I've never encountered a travel app as comprehensive, practical, and user-friendly as Wanderlog. It made planning our trip to Barcelona with my wife a breeze, providing day-to-day itineraries to ensure we didn't miss anything the city had to offer. We even ventured to Madrid to visit family, and Wanderlog effortlessly mapped the best routes for each location using live map data. Whether utilizing the metro, long-range trains, or simply walking, Wanderlog allowed us to specify our mode of transportation for each leg of the journey. The app's restaurant recommendations were spot-on, seamlessly integrated into our daily plans. The insightful articles from various travel bloggers were a bonus, and being able to add mentioned locations directly to our itinerary was incredibly convenient. Now, as we plan our trip to Amsterdam and all future adventures, Wanderlog has become our go-to travel companion. If you're looking to maximize your travel experience and explore all the "must-see" locations, Wanderlog is indispensable. It's like having a modern travel agent at your fingertips, but even better

This app is awesome just needs a few additions. I love this app. It’s really great for updating itinerary, flights dollars spent, places to see. Ask #1: What I would also love for the app is to have an import function from social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) that will save places and map it out for you. Similar to how the recipe organizer apps will read a video and upload the ingredients and map out a meal or recipe plan in categories. Ask #2: can it be separated into categories and you can move (say a restaurant) to a day on your itinerary? Sometimes I like to have multiple restaurant option OR have a few choices of night clubs to go to for after dinner cocktails. Ask#3: is there a way to map out where to go which days of your trip to maximize travel time. Think uber driving meets map my ideal vacation. Ask#4: Also I can’t figure out how to manage my group of people if they haven’t logged into the app. Is there a way to manually add them so I can set how much they spend, this way (oh another idea) it can notify the person what is owed at the end of the trip via app, iMessage, WhatsApp etc?

App is alright but could be better. I’ve been really trying to find an itinerary app that works smoothly. I tried out Wanderlog and it’s pretty good. However, I had several reservations that weren’t able to be parsed when forwarding it to the trip email even though the data it said was missing was there. If you add a place to a specific day, it just moves it to the general bucket of places to go. I just want to add certain places at certain times to specific days. You can eventually get there but it’s not the default behavior. Also they show up differently than all your other entries for the day once you do figure it out. Also, one small annoyance is you can’t set the check in and checkout time of a Hotel and Lodging entry. If you forward an email that has one it shows up, but the app doesn’t let you set your own especially on manually created entries. It also keeps showing info boxes like “looks like you haven’t booked lodging” even though it’s right above a lodging entry for the day. Overall it’s decent but not quite good enough to switch to as my primary itinerary app.

I’ll never go back to Google Sheets. I admit, I was skeptical when I downloaded this app. Normally, I did all of my planning in Google Sheets and was more than happy with my spreadsheets. I honestly don’t even know what possessed me to download this app. But I’m SO GLAD I did. It’s a Type-A planner’s dream and it’s made planning my New Zealand trip a complete breeze. I swear, every time I look I find a new functionality that I didn’t know this thing had - and I’m on the free version! I’ve already recommended this app to three of my friends, one of whom was able to share her itinerary with me through Wanderlust when she came to visit (from another country). It made planning days to meet her effortless, and I was able to check her plans and make suggestions for the rest of her trip. From the map function, to the route planning, to the hotel logs, to the notes and checklists - I’m completely hooked. I’ll never ever go back to spreadsheets for travel planning.

The best app of its kind.. This app is great and really has considered what features a good road tripping app should have. Every time I think to myself, "I wonder if I can . . ." there is always a feature that does what I want. Just great. I love how easy it is to add locations, and notes and times to the locations. The data it automatically imports for a location and the way they present it is clean and very useful (for instance just having the website for a location available and clickable saves me so much time). I love how it makes directions available between entries and how easy it is to switch from driving to transit to walking. I love the lack of visual clutter and the lack of ads. And it's free, though I'd happily pay $10-$20 a year to subscribe to it. Highly recommended. Update: Edited out my comments about it not supporting landscape on iPad as they recently updated the app to support it. Not the best landscape support I've ever seen, but it works now, os that good enough.

Perfect for keeping a long trip organized. I’ve always hated trying to keep all my travel documents/plans/tickets organized when I go on a trip. I try to keep emails sorted but invariably I’ll show up somewhere and when I need to show my online tickets, that’s when my email decides not to load. I just went on a three week trip to Europe and used Wanderlog to keep track of my itinerary, all my rail passes, tour excursions and museum ideas. It was perfect! It always loaded, even when my internet wasn’t cooperating. I was hoping for more pre-loaded templates for tours, but Wanderlog has so much flexibility, that I found it somewhat easy to categorize things on my own (for tours I would just enter meeting place where each tour began). The ability to attach emails so all hotel/train/tour confirmations are easy to find (and according to the right date), was INVALUABLE! I found the suggestions of things to see a little annoying. I’m a big-time researcher so I totally knew exactly what we wanted to see in every place we went to, but if you haven’t done the research, maybe that would be helpful. Otherwise those suggestions cluttered my itinerary. Anyway, I would absolutely use this on future trips. Especially a trip with a complicated itinerary. I also really apreciate the feature that lets me share my itinerary. Our trip to Europe was a mother/daughter trip and it made me feel a little safer knowing my husband back home knew exactly where we would be/and what we would be doing in case anything happened to us.

Great tool, but app switching performance needs fixing. First off, Wonderlog as a travel planning tool is fantastic. I find it to be a great tool for storing points of interest while I’m researching, and then helping to organize them into an itinerary once I know what all I want to do. The software needs some bug fixes though. In general, it is fine while you are inside of the app, however, when you switch back to Wanderlog from another app (even if you only switch out for a few seconds) the software is mostly frozen for around 20 seconds. Some things continue to work (like moving around the map), but basic GUI things like closing the place details panel, or changing from map view to itinerary view simply do not work at all until the software ‘catches up’. While this might not be a huge issue in some programs that you don’t go into and out of frequently, I find myself constantly needing to switch between Wanderlog and Google / Apple Maps, Safari, etc… This means lots of frustration with waiting and then things going haywire as the software catches up to all of the taps that didn’t register previously. Hopefully the developers can continue to improve the app performance and address some of these issues, because the idea and execution is excellent and I hope that more people join the community and continue to support this system so that it can grow and have more and more features.

Great app to manage a multi faceted/location trip. I was laid off, and decided to quickly pull together a big, multi-location, multi-week trip to Phuket, Thailand and make the best use of my open schedule. I’d never done anything like this before, but with the help of Wanderlog I felt very confident that my trip was well-planned and documented from start to finish. Wanderlog made sightseeing suggestions for activities, and great restaurants in every location. The way it puts it all together into an itinerary makes planning and executing the trip so easy- I never had to go through any paper back up records once! My Wanderlog had all the confirmation numbers I needed at every location. I can not say enough about how much I enjoyed using this app! I could relax and enjoy my trip instead of organizing paperwork as we moved from place to place. I highly recommend this app, it enables the customization of your perfect trip, like no travel agent could ever match! Happy trails!

Wish I had found it sooner!. If I could give Wanderlog more than 5 stars, I would! As an accountant, I’m detail-oriented and organized. I had months of research for an eight week, multi-country trip scattered amongst note cards, maps, saved digital files, emails, calendar notes, etc. it was overwhelming! It did take a long time to input the data because I had so much, but within days my information was organized and an itinerary is taking shape. Moving forward, I input new info directly into the app. The app even suggests sights and activities. They thought of everything! Emails and map photos can be saved as attachments. Multiple lists, like “Must See”, “Other attractions”, “Restaurants”, etc can be made for each city and are automatically plotted on a map with different color icons. The map can be filtered by list. The Lists can be copied or moved to Itinerary Days, which are also plotted automatically on the map, along with route information and travel time between each stop. There’s even an Optimize Route feature. The trip can be shared with tripmates and exported for printing. I plan on printing my trip in a small booklet format to have a hard copy for my trip. This only grazes the surface of what the app can do. Each time I’ve wished for a feature, it’s already there. I reached out to the developers with a question and it was answered promptly and thoroughly. I’ve never been so excited about or grateful for an app. If you’re planning a trip, do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Way overpriced and doesn’t let you buy tickets or tell you when tickets are required.. We just did a 7 day European trip. I downloaded the app because it had good reviews and thought it was a one-stop shop type app where I could do everything. It falls far short. You can’t book travel. The routes and traffic info are inaccurate and don’t account for live changes, holidays or delays. The reviews were good but all of those can be found online for free in a million other apps and websites. You can’t reserve or buy tickets through the app. The app also doesn’t even tell you when tickets are required for what venues. Then if you want to change things between dates or times it becomes very cumbersome. I stopped using the app on day 2. I switched to Viator to search for location ideas, buying tickets and reviews of places to go. It’s free to download and we had success going to over 30 locations found on the app. For travel and directions we downloaded Citymapper. It gives you train, walking, and metro directions and instructions. It even knows live updates, delays and outages. And it’s FREE! The $40 pricetag for an app that doesn’t let you buy tickets to locations, tell you locations times or prices, doesn’t let you buy metro tickets or give metro directions is incredibly overpriced. Skip it completely and go with Viator and Citymapper for FREE.

Far exceeded my expectations. I’ve never used anything like this. I love doing research, but I’m also very disorganized the more information I collect the more overwhelmed and disorganized I get. Planning a trip to Montreal, I was the one responsible for finding places to eat, and if you know Montreal, it’s overwhelming. I’m a foodie. I love to research and I try to dig deep with as many sources as possible and as many opinions, so many choices and then they reasearch leads you down another wormhole. This app is amazing. It’s intuitive. It’s flexible allows you to create your own categories or sub categories as your research grow you can move things around effortlessly. Throwing on the map and organize coded way. Really just a great app sign with a lot of thought. The phone app and desktop app or both great and powerful similar enough to be intuitive, but also utilizes the power of each. I will update this review after our trip but I can confidently say this is the most organized I’ve ever been planning for a trip and allowed me to do more research and stay organized. Thank you!!!

One of my favorite app purchases to date. I’m never compelled to review apps but Wanderlog is an exception. This trace planning app is a feature-filled in both the free and pro versions. I started with free and quickly subscribed to pro. I was looking for something to keep track of my future trip ideas - both “bucket list” plans and ones already booked. I had passed through a city and collected a handful of those ads/travel guides for free typically houses by the elevator at a hotel. I saw a bunch of fun stops but couldn’t fit them into this trip - but wanted to remember them for next time I was in town. Wanderlog was perfect for this. I’m able to insert points of interest and hotels onto an itinerary, along with notes under each (aka why was I considering stopping at this place to begin with!). Oftentimes points of interest already come with helpful notes - like “closed on Mondays.” I recently reached out to support to ask a question and had a personalized, helpful reply from Peter, one of the co-founders in under an hour. I can’t recommend this app enough.

Love it.. This is the first app review I’ve left if that tells you anything. I was planning a month long trip to Europe visiting four different countries and I was STRUGGLING to plan it. After looking for a structured planner I found this and it’s exactly what I needed. For me I knew places I wanted to go but was struggling to make an itinerary. So I loved being able to add all my places, and see the notes from google under them to show which days they are open. Being able to add the price and see them all on the map! Then using that info to plan my week. It’s very nice being able to move them to the itinerary and color coding. You can add your Airbnb reservations, you just have to forward the email with the link they give you. Some improvements I would make is being able to organize your trips. I have two different multi city trips coming up and I would like to be able to order how I see them in trip plans.

Great for road trips!. I am an avid National Park traveler. As a younger person with ADHD, keeping track of all my travel information/itineraries used to be impossible. I’m so glad I found this app because it truly has been a life changer - it is a place to keep EVERYTHING travel related and segment/plan your trips in advance. I was also tired of constantly pulling up google maps to see how far apart stops were. This app allows me to forgo all that and clearly map out my trip. They truly thought of everything with this app. There is a place for you to input every piece of information you could possibly need for your trip. I love that I can plan my trip on my computer and then log into the app and everything is saved there for when I’m on the road. Wanderlog makes it easy to plan your trips/block out your time as well. I love the feature that shows the map of your trip and time/miles between spots, and you can look at things to do nearby/in between stops, it’s basically like Yelp, but for trips. I can basically do all my research for planning the trip in the app basically, and I love that I can connect my reservations/car rentals. This app truly makes it so easy. I’ve never left a review for an app before, but Wanderlog has changed the game for me

Easy and Practical to us. I used this for a 2 - week Northern European trip and it was very useful to have everything in one place to see, from plane and train tickets to hotel reservations. All in one place, ideal iternarary. Its great because you can use the website, share with others, and the app is pretty good. Cons: Three things that I would say about the app is that something it take a minute before updating if you have done it from another device/their website. Also when you drag and drop stuff in the app becasue of the limited space/screen it can be a little inconvinient. Also sometimes depending on the region, it may be hard to find specific addresses and places to add to the iteneraty, you may have to search for them in their native language. Overall great app, will be using for future trips and have already been putting others together and suggesting it to others for their use.

4.5 stars. Mary be I am expecting too much. A lot of fine tuning should be done. I wish it gives notification for flights etc on time. The map collaboration is not quite there. When I click on a place for the day, I need to zoom in. It should have been leading me to the day map. It shouldn’t include the city that I am leaving that morning to give me clear picture of the city that I am visiting. It should highlight the time when I have purchased the ticket as the places are quite stringent for entry time and also have way to give me notification from the place before. I can go on. When I putting it to give it to the rest of the family, it creates large pdf but doesn’t have the necessary detail. So all they have is name of the places. Its automatic planning day function is good and I can check out those places. Overall it did help a lot with planning. The tips it gives is so random that it almost becomes useless.

Great app, but could be so much better. First of all, let me say, I’m a fan. I love the way WL integrates with Google maps and the ease of arranging and rearranging trip itineraries, guides etc, but I do feel hindered by certain limitations of the app’s functionality, that add up to time-consuming work arounds for the user. Here are some ideas that I think would make this app so much better, unbeatable in fact: 1. The ability to duplicate an existing guide or itinerary. This would allow me to keep an trip or guide I’ve already created, then fiddle around with the duplicate copy for any minor changes I might like to make, without having to populate an entire guide/itinerary manually again. This is a big one for me. 2. The ability to send locations or entries between different guides and itineraries, rather than just within the trip you’re working in. 3. The option to fill the description section of a location with text, but having that text hidden unless I tap on the location within the app. It just takes so much longer scrolling through guides with lots of text in the details box on the app, and makes me less inclined to include information that may be relevant. I think it’s great to have it all there in a browser view, but not in the app. 4. More colours and icons to choose from for locations would be VERY handy I.e not just a glass to represent a bar or whatever. Is it a club, a micro brewery, a wine bar, a beer hall? Get me? Apart from the above, if you’re intending on doing a trip itinerary or guide, this is the best app for usability I’ve seen. Just a few tweaks of being indispensable.

Absolutely amazing.. This app has been a lifesaver. I had been going crazy trying to organise my most recent road trip and stumbled across this app (after trying multiple other apps). So easy to use, lots of suggestions for you to add to your trip, and having a map next to screen is brilliant. I’ve recommended this to my friend and we’re going to be using it to plan our overseas travel now too! I do have a question/suggestion though, is there a way to mark a trip as completed rather than deleting the trip? I don’t want to delete it, I like to see my past trips and keep a record of it to come back on when I visit those places again.

Intuitive trip planning. Between the app and the website, I love thisfor easy trip planning. It’s intuitive by offering suggestions on where to go and it allows you to explore places and easily add to your trip. Once added, you can move them around to find the most optimal way to spend your days travelling. I’ve put in recommendations from people on places to eat which also shows up on my map so I can find these easily once I get my itinerary locked in. If something changes. It’s easy to move things around. I love that you can add notes for the trip, the day and the place you are visiting. You can even add notes in between places. All my information and planning is in one spot. I easily added in all my reservations including flights and hotels by forwarding emails to it. It is easy to share with other travelers and keeps track of cost. I’m a huge fan of this app!

Well worth the money. This was a fantastic app well worth the money to purchase. I used it for 17 day trip to Japan. I was able to share the itinerary with my travel partner so we could both book and plan. Before we went on the trip I could also share a view only link with our parents so they knew where we would be and important details. My only feedback is that Airbnb bookings need to be better integrated with the email but I was able to manually add it in the end.

Very slow and glitchy, not very user friendly. The app is amazing in theory but I just feel like the developers haven’t refined it enough or something. Really not intuitive or user friendly. It’s really annoying to have constant pop ups and have to clear the “bring sleep aid” “this flight is over night” “this airport is far” warnings for every one of my flights every time I open the app. Or trying to type in the notes section and the text I’m typing disappears above the screen line, but if I readjust the screen the phone exits out of the notes box all together. Things like this make it extremely frustrating to use. Half of the places also don’t appear on the map when you’re going to a none English speaking country, which is especially frustrating when you’ve typed it out identically to how it’s spelled on google maps and it still won’t come up. Just in general find it very annoying to use

Fantastic app for trip planning with tons of useful features. A must have app if you are planning a comprehensive trip such as visiting 3+ cities with a lot of sight seeking and things to do. App makes it all too easy with integration with google maps for directions and gives you estimates time between destinations. You can easily see the ratings of restaurants etc. Plus you can send your itinerary such as hotel bookings and flights to the app for it to automatically add it to your itinerary. A must have for your next trip and makes trip planning super easy. I used this app along with ChatGPT for my entire trip planning to Japan

Needs improvement. I’ve used tripit for years and I read about wanderlog as an essential travel app. Aside from the initial annoying ‘subscribe Subscribe SUBSCRIBE!’ prompts, i then started to put in data. It is (rightly) crippled to a degree for non subscribers, but I found it clunky and unintuitive. No ‘theatre’ or ‘event’ options. If you create a ‘place’ on the wrong day, I would expect you could move it. No, you have to delete and recreate on the different day. For theatre events you have to specify the venue as the event, not the event itself. It has potential, but $59 for a year, when tripit is a full featured app for free with extras for $77 a year with calendar integration and full itinerary generation from emails? This app has a very long way to go to justify that price and provide basic useful ‘free’ features.

Must have for all travel plans. I must say that I am very impressed by the app as it seamlessly provides a way to plan, manage and share the travel plans with ease. I joined a friends trip late in the planning phase and I found out that we did not have a proper itinerary other than a hand written list of places that everyone wanted to see. I was able to quickly transfer the notes to a detailed travel plan and I must say Wanderlog is a must have for anyone travelling. It helps to quickly organize places of interest by dates and have an intuitive visual design that shows the plan for the day with a map view to make it very clear. No messy ads either in the free plan compared to many other options and I guess people would happily switch to a paid plan if they needed more options. I was happy with the features available in the free tier and so will consider it when required for sure. To the developers, please continue to build new features without breaking the current offerings and I am sure this will always be the chosen product.

My favourite trip planning app!. I started with TripIt but do a fair bit of road tripping, so found Wanderlog alongside Roadtrippers. Wanderlog has improved a fair bit since I started using it in terms of features, but my favourite features are: quickly adding and finding places to go on your road trip, intuitive interface, easy sharing, driving times and smarts - it tells me if I’ve put a place on when it’s not open. Wouldn’t live without it now!

Easy to use. I recently went on a 31 night trip with my family and searched through many different apps to use. After trying out many of them, I found that Wanderlog was by far the easiest and most practical to use. It was simple to add flights & accommodation plus planning each day was simple. As I did all the planning, when I shared it with other family members, they could simply click on the day and click on the activity/location to read all about it. I also thought it was simple to change the days on the go, when we didn’t do one of the activities, I could easily move it to another day later in the trip. I highly recommend this app, it has so much capability and we only used about 25% of it, however, it did what we needed.

Everything at your fingertips. I love this app! You can have all your travel bookings, ideas, sightseeing and plans at your finger tips. There’s suggestions for what to see with directions available for your destinations. I’m a bit of an organisational control freak, and this suits me perfectly but also great for the go with the flow or less organised traveller as it keeps all your bookings together and easy to access. I’ve used Wanderlog for 2 big trips now, and recommend it to all my friends. It’s so user friendly too. If you’re travelling with a group you can share the itinerary.

Wanderlog is the bomb!!!. I started planning our trip using OneNote and then came across Wanderlog. Never looked at OneNote again. This app is amazing and exactly we needed considering we were self driving the South Island of New Zealand. Just tap the next location in your itinerary and Wanderlog does the rest interfacing seamlessly with Apple or Google Maps. Email your flights and they’re populated in an instant. Search for a point of interest and it will find it while also providing more suggestions. I couldn’t stop raving about it to people we met on our travels and our friends at home. You cannot go wrong with Wanderlog

Only travel app to use. I used the Wanderlog app for our recent itinerary to contain everything Including flights, accom, tour tickets and connection to google maps etc . EVERYTHING I do have a couple of items to note for updates / improvements though : would be great to be able to print off a pdf WITH maps. Hard copies are handy / backup and the print off needs to show times (start and finish) would be great to be able to tick one box to turn off recommended spots versus having to tick it on each day on laptop browser and same on phone would be ideal to only show one days map with each days itinerary versus having to click / unclick chosen days Being able to add items OR the full itinerary to calendars / outlook Times do not show when you do a print out . Work around for this is to enter the times in the description of each item Need to be able to attach more than one item to each flight / hotel / itinerary item etc Would be good if when you are using the map that it automatically went to the trip and day that you are on

Many good functions but very glitchy. There are so many great functions on this app but it also seems to have a lot of bugs. At first it was just things like when writing in notes it is slow to register touch and typing so you end up with things written in the wrong place, or the wrong thing is deleted. However, after making lots of changes in the itinerary section, the changes have not been saved, days that were deleted (with a confirmation pop up) have not been removed, and details have now moved to different days. If there is any way to fix this we can still use it for our trip. If not, it’s now completely useless.

Made for anxious travelers. Maybe not for everyone, but for people like me who overthink, want to have everything organised and in a logical order, this app works. No matter how well I prepare for a trip, if it involves multiple stops and stays, it gets chaotic because there are things that’s out of my control. So a tool that helps me plan things in as much detail as a can and visualise takes a bit of the worries away. I like the map and budget tracker feature too.

Couldn’t recommend this app enough!. This app is perfect for planning and organising your holiday itinerary. If you’re completely unsure and starting from scratch, the app can help provide you with ideas based on where you plan to visit. In my case, I already had most of my itinerary written in my phone notes but transferring them over to Wanderlog was such a game changer. It’s so easy to use and the app does all the hard work for you. It’s incredibly detailed, down to how long each place you plan to visit on that day will take to either by walking or through transport. It also helps you map out where you plan to visit in a certain order that’s the most time efficient so you’re not going back and forth. I used Wonderlog constantly during my trip and it was especially useful for being able to transfer an address to google maps to help navigate wherever I was intending to go on my itinerary. It’s also a great way to share with friends and family your itinerary in such a detailed, easy to understand way. I highly recommend this app to everyone who loves to travel and organise their trips. I can’t wait to plan many more itineraries on this app!

Game changer. I was feeling so overwhelmed with all the great info on Insta and from family and friends to book my holiday and this has been the perfect way to put all the info in one place with so many amazing and detailed option. I feel so relieved to have a place to put all the info and uploading any travel documents I have to have it all in an easy to read itinerary. I probably haven’t even used half the apps features and I’m already so excited for my trip now

Such a handy app for travel. I love Wanderlog! I recently used this app on a trip to Japan and found it to be such a useful way to store all our bookings and travel details in one place. My partner and I could easily keep track of accom and flight details, regardless of who booked them. The app saved us a few times when we realised we had forgotten to book accommodation on a couple of days! I love the feature of being able to just forward a booking confirmation email to a dedicated Wanderlog address for your trip, and the app automatically fills out your itinerary with the information

Perfect for a Planner!. I have been using spreadsheets or word tables for years whenever planning complex vacations. I have given them up now since finding Wanderlog. Thank you. All my hotel bookings come straight in to my vacation, and the hints it comes up with are thought provoking. Being able to share the plan with people who might be joining me OR my mum and children so they know where I am planning to be has been great. I can leave days without definite destinations and others with full details. Great app for the iPhone and iPad.

Brilliant.. First up, let me say I paid for the full version- reward for effort for the developers and I did not want to deal with banners and pop-ups. It worked seamlessly through a European trip that is coming to its conclusion as we have one more day before catching the non stop Qantas flight from London to Perth. The daily itinerary changes and connected mapping function was incredibly useful and time saving- comments on the socials was how much we were seeing each day. I have reviewed the security protocols and hosting of the company and on our return will be uploading our own photos and other notes, Wanderlog will be our travel journal going forward.

Best Travel App. I just completed a 3 week overseas trip that I planned and recorded on Wanderlog! I purchased the Pro version that absolutely was worth it! There were a few times on the trip that I needed to access documents while offline and If I didn’t have that access things would have been a lot trickier! I referred to the Wanderlog App every day when travelling and used all of its features!! I really love the Wanderlog App and will continue to use it for all of my upcoming trips!!

I feel like this might become my favourite travel app. It’s early days yet and I’ve just started using Wanderlog to gather ideas for a trip in the future but so far I’m impressed! I love that even before I work out my itinerary I can list places I’d like to visit, restaurants I’d like to try, accomodation that appeals and it’s all mapped for me. Then when I’m ready to start booking I have everything at my fingertips. I also love that it can be used to collaborate with fellow travellers.

The BEST travel planning tool!. I’ve been relying on spreadsheets for years to plan and track my travel plans and then stumbled across a mention of Wanderlog in a Facebook group I had joined for research on a city I am planning to visit. Decided to investigate it further, and I was blown away by what this tool offers, and the ease and intuitiveness of use, so much so that I immediately signed up for the pro-version. It does everything I had previously managed in a spreadsheet and so much more! Want to keep a wish list of places to see? (Along with hyperlinks, opening hours and anything else you might want to keep note of!) Want to track all flights, hotel and tour bookings and have them link to your itinerary? Want to be able to use the app to find and book accommodation? Want suggestions on what to see and do in the area you are visiting, along with suggested itineraries from other travellers? Want to visualise your travel plans on a map for either a single day or your full trip? Want your itinerary to automatically tell you if you’ve scheduled an activity for a day that it’s closed? Want to know your travel distances and times between locations and have the route optimised for you? Want to create “to-do” lists or packing lists? Want to share your itinerary with friends and collaborate with your travel companions as well as be able to track and split any expenses with your travel companions? Wanderlog does everything a travel organiser needs to effectively plan their holiday/adventure! Each trip created in the app is fully customisable to suit your needs! My only regret is that I didn’t find this amazing app sooner!!

The Ultimate Travel Companion. Ever since my partner discovered and showed me this website last year, I have downloaded the app and pretty much used it every day. Previously, I was manually creating excel itineraries with sheets for links to google maps routes, budgets, to do lists, booking IDs, etc.. I was always frustrated with the lack of journey planners that allowed multiple locations along a route, little alone multiple days! Using Wanderlog for the first time was honestly a bit overwhelming due to the number of features available, and this was initially a bit of a put off. I am so glad I didn’t give up though, as I absolutely love this app now. I have used it for overseas travel with others where we co-created a multi-week trip, short trips with my partner, a multi-month solo roadtrip where Wanderlog is the daily bible, and have another international trip in the works. Personally, I haven’t needed any of the premium features so remain using the website and app freely. If you’re looking for a way to manage the endless details that come with adventuring in a stress-free way, definitely try Wanderlog. The only thing I would say is that you have to be prepared to put the time in to planning and when initially setting up a trip, especially a big one, use the website over the app. The website is much quicker and has a better option to rearrange locations. I’m aware that there has been a recent update to the drop/drag function for rearranging locations on the app though, and I appreciate the creators noting that it can be a bit glitchy and marking it for further improvement. Have fun and safe travels!

Fantastic Trip planning App!. I was looking for an App that would let me arrange my own walking tour and provide directions from each location to the next. Well I found it in Wanderlog and so much more!!! This app let me build a detailed daily itinerary. It gave directions between each site I had chosen. It also offers the option to optimise the order of your itinerary to save you time if you want to do that. I was also able to save travel and accommodation details in the App. I saved all my electronic tickets in the app too. This was a game changer! Instead of having to find the relevant e-ticket in a folder in my email, I simply opened the App and went to the day in my itinerary and then I had saved the e-ticket to that site in the app. So easy to use! Buckingham House Tour? No problem, tickets linked to it in my itinerary! It also offered options if you weren’t sure what to do. As it links to Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, you can easily get directions while you are out. It also provides travel times between locations which is really helpful when planning your itinerary or route on any given day. I used this app every day of my trip and would definitely use it again for my next trip. Highly recommend it!

The best planner out there. After Travefy closed off access to non professionals - Wanderlog comes as close to the same thing. Its a really lovely app. I do all the logging in of trip details via a laptop. A comprehensive planner and love that it suggests places to visit based on your flights. The option to import flight details by forwarding your email to Wanderlog is accurate and a great timesaver. The interface is well designed, clear to read and attractive. Being able to collate all hotels, flights, trains, reservations and checklists (like what to upon landing) and what site i booked from and costs gives me a central reference point. we tend to hit a lot of places for our big trips so this is great.

Great for planning your next adventure. We planned our trip to Europe in three months. When we began planning it we found a few apps available to help us out. To be honest, this was the first link I clicked on, that's why we started using it. We have just came back from our trip and this app was wonderful. We travelled through four countries and eight cities in one month. It help us keep everything in one place and on track in our daily activities.

Great travel app. This app is super great for planning and helping to work out the budget to allow for a trip. It’s helped me to get amazingly organised, and made all the planning and preparing even more fun. I particularly like how it gives you the time it takes to get between each place in your itinerary whether on foot, in a car or on public transport, as this was a really good way to initially work out how much we could pack into each day! Only one little thing I would give as feedback for an enhancement would be good to be able to add more than 1 attachment to a ‘place’ entry in the itinerary. While not always needed, I have had some places where that would have been handy. But it’s certainly not a deal breaker. Highly recommend this app!

Everything you need to organise your itinerary. I’ve really enjoyed using this app to plan my trip. It’s easy to upload locations of interest pulling information from Google listings. It helps you organise your days the most efficient way to plan your day using maps. Links in each destination pulling google data like open times, websites, reviews, etc. Lots of useful pre-filled lists for to dos before you go like pre-travel takes and packing. I’ve recommended it to a few friends now and great feedback all round!!

American date format does my head in. I trialled this app alongside others for an upcoming trip. The main reason for me deleting this app was not being able to change the date format to DD/MM. That, alongside the app being really busy with stuff which overshadowed useful itinerary information, was just too overwhelming. I‘ve gone with an App that has normal date formats and a straightforward ’itinerary‘ look. I would love to also have the option of showing things to do or information about the area that you‘re visiting, but in this app it feels like you can only have that, without seeing a clear itinerary.

TripIt vs Wanderlog. I have both installed and working on my itineraries. TripIt is far superior in terms of being able to add activities from your email (wanderlog you need to do this manually even if you have email confirmation). I couldn’t add a train ride, I put in the details but then there wasn’t a button to press next or save the train details. Some of the manual places you can add into your itinerary don’t actually save and you’re there pressing the place multiple times but nothing happens. It’s a nice looking app and has some great features like linking with google maps, but it has much left to be desired for planning a trip with multiple places to go to and things to do.

Comprehensive travel planning app. I’ve just started using Wanderlog app for a 2 continent trip. It segments race several apps & resources, no need got TripIt, no need for any itinerary display/table, no need for expense/budget spreadsheets, no need to file key docs to a cloud file, because Wanderlog does it all ! I have no prior affiliation with this app so I found it good to use from the first stage of planning a trip. If new to Wanderlog like me. It’s Best to get it before you start trip planning and do all your initial planning on this app. I look forward to some short screen cast instruction videos as the You Tube from Private individuals ones are not that clear for new users, though it’s quite intuitive. The app help desk is fantastic to give suggestions when starting. Wanderlog is indispensable for travel planning from my experience.

Absolutely fabulous - so useful. Can't say enough about how useful this app is. I have tried other travel planning apps before but they created more work than help. Wanderlog is great - you can import your flights and hotel bookings just by sending the confirmation emails to the app and it puts them all in order for you. Lots of extra functions so you can add notes and docs, I have a very complicated trio coming up with multiple destinations and forms of travel and the app has been so useful in helping me plan it and put the itinerary together. It also has helped me to more easily identify things I have overlooked in planning like car hire, taxis etc! Thank you to the developers - don't know how you did it but wow!

Friends Europe Trip. When my friends asked me to plan a 6 week holiday in Europe I needed a way to share all the information throughout the planning and the trip. I certainly found what I needed with Wanderlog. What a fantastic way to plan and share trips plans with every detail included. Every time someone in the group asked me a question, the others would all answer “it’s in Wanderlog”. I would highly recommend it and would definitely use it again.

Better than TripIt. Fabulous travel planning and itinerary app. Easy to use. Love how it’s easy to navigate to an individual day and to switch activities to different days. The interface is well presented and interesting to use. Not like TripIt which is awful as it’s a nuisance to scroll to individual days. Have been using Wanderlog so far for shorter domestic trips. When I’m nearly ready for my next longer overseas trip I’ll buy the Pro version so I can upload documents. The Pro price is affordable and I’m happy to support a small development team who have created an amazing product. I have tested heaps of apps, this is by far the best. Can also use it on a web interface.

Extremely helpful!. I used Wanderlog for my recent 2-week trip Thailand and it proved to be tremendous help in setting up my flights and sightseeing itinerary as well as for my hotel reservations. The app is very intuitive and provides the information you need in different ways and incredibly easy to access. You can make notes for things to remember or as a travel diary. There is also a section to record your travel expenses and you can access guides from contributors for suggestions on what to see and do. All this and more comes with the free version! I didn’t go with the pro version as I don’t travel frequently and it seems that the only option is to pay yearly.

Finally travel planning made easy. I love this app. I am currently planning a 2 month trip and I love to be organised so this is an amazingly helpful app. I can add all my accommodation including Airbnb (although will only be included as an address which doesn’t brother me). Flights and flight numbers to help keep track and all the places I want to go. Two suggestions though. Wish there was a way to add tours with pick up location and details but I just did pick up location as a place and added the details on a note. Also wish I could add the ferry, we are doing some travel by ferry so would be great if that was a transit option. Overall all amazing and always a way to do what you need with it.

10/10 Highly Recommend. Have used Wanderlog for 4 trips overseas now and can’t thank it enough. Not only has it been so exciting being able to plan my trip on such a seamless app, but being able to see the location of each activity/hotel makes it so easy to plan. The recommendations given by the app are also a very nice addition. Overall, such a great aesthetic app to use and very useful. Would recommend to everyone!

Simply Outstanding. Have recently completed a “complicated” European trip including London, Paris, Brugge, Zurich, Como, Venice, Rome and Majorca with connecting flights from Australia via Singapore. Connections by train and aircraft and car hire and all accomodation self booked. Wanderlog a app was absolutely outstanding in supporting all of the various bookings and having them easily accessible in one place with logical layout and itinerary views. The ability to import the content of the bookings or if that wasn’t possible, the system provided the link to the emails. Bizarrely, the application is free and we got so much value from its functionality. It’s rare that you come across something this good with so much value. An outstanding app

K St L. I first used Wanderlog back in 2023 and found it to be essential for a multi-country European road/plane trip from Australia. I’m a bit of an OCD travel planner and do HEAPS of research on Google/Trip Adviser & blogs, so Wanderlog’s ability to add notes and as many categories as needed is fabulous. The fact that it ties into Google helps as you can adjust your itinerary based on the open days (without having to go into each website) and you can see what times are busiest to avoid. I love how you can add your flight/accom bookings etc by email. My only gripe is when I decide to perhaps do a new destination (ie Amsterdam) when I’d previously initally saved info under Netherlands, I can’t just “cut & paste” from one trip to another .. but that’s my only gripe. 100% recommend and can’t to without

A must when travelling. This app has been absolute gold during my recent 5 week trip to Europe. From the itinerary, notes and ability to attach emails and files - it’s an invaluable tool when away. Something that was a real benefit was when I couldn’t access internet, as I’d backed up all tickets and bookings in it, so when I couldn’t get online they were accessible here and that was such a relief! It made planning easy too, with PDF attachments and email confirmations being easily attached to travel days. From flights to trains to experiences - all there. My only niggle is I would have liked to have saved a duplicate and stripped financial info from it to share with close friends and family. That would make this app even better! Will definitely use it when planning and doing future travel.

Extremely Useful App.. I used Wanderlog to plan a month’s campervan road trip in Japan. Over a period of a few months I kept adding places of interest to the App and completed a very comprehensive itinerary before leaving Australia. Our trip ran very smoothly due to just being able to log on to Wanderlog each morning and head off to each preplanned place or activity. As the App links Google or Apple Maps and road tolls are very expensive in Japan it was very advantageous to be able to select an Option for No Tolls. We travelled 2,800 km and only spent 100 yen (AUD 1 approx) due to taking a wrong road for a few hundred metres. Highly recommend this App and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

From Daunting to DONE. Planning our first around-the-world trip was overwhelming, but Wanderlog has made it a breeze and fun! Among the many great features, my favourite so far is the ability to shuffle the events and places using the map. It’s easy to figure out the best order of stops. The coloured map pins help work out the days too! I notice some places include information like how long people typically spend at an attraction. This is helpful information. I wish all sites had it! I’m using the free version, but as I go further with my trip planning, I may upgrade.

Must have app for travel planning. This app made planning our trip to Japan so easy. It was also great whilst away in helping provide directions and also update on the go when somewhere new we wanted to do. I really liked the optimise feature which helped ensure we could fit all the places in for a day. It was also great to be able to have one spot for all our flights, accommodation and activity receipts. Highly recommend this app.

Crashing and annoying notifications. The app is continually crashing (I don’t know if this is because of a new update?) and it is repeatedly giving me an in-app notification to turn on notifications for the app. Very annoying… the app, prior to these issues, was really good! Helped me plan my trip to Japan relatively easily. But now, the app is practically impossible to use :( Ironically, it was right after they started pushing the premium version of the app more (where you have to pay $60/yr or $5/mth AUD. And only showing the premium versions benefits to have a dark mode in the notification it gives you, which is pretty funny. Because yeah, I’d be fine with paying money for dark mode!) Hopefully, these issues are just for me and none of the other users face these issues because it’s a good, free to use (for the most part) app that I have recommended to multiple people, friends and family who have then downloaded it.

Super useful for trips. I came across Wanderlog while looking for a way to dump ideas for my trip to Japan. I found the different categories really useful (hotels, flights, customisable groups, etc). My partner and I used it to plan our days as well. We used the map and recommendations quite frequently to add places close to our existing plans - thought those features were handy. Already thinking about my next trip to Japan (or elsewhere) and definitely will be using Wanderlog again. Can’t recommend it enough! Plus I really appreciate Peter and the team’s emails - feel really engaged and cared about as a user. Thanks team!

Amazing!. I don’t normally review apps however, this is exactly what I was looking for! Worked out my itinerary from entirely within the app, gave me suggestions on activities and was very helpful to be able to put my entire trip info (flights, hotels, budget, activities, etc) in one place. Went back many times over planning it to check info I would normally have to search through emails to get. Would recommend very useful

Fantastic travel app, will definitely use for my next trip. I started planing our overseas trip nearly 12 months ago and came across the Wanderlog app. I downloaded the free version and have been able to plan my trip, adding and amending details during this time. Wanderlog also offers suggestions of places to visit, which was amazing. It was very easy to use and I could also give read only access of the itinerary to my husband (on the trip with me), and family at home so they could see what we our plans were each day without them changing anything. I will definitely use Wanderlog again for our next trip, but would upgrade to the paid version for the extra features.

Best trip planning app, but too pricey!. I have nothing but good things to say about this app. The free version solves pretty much 80% of the planning problems for me. I have used it for 10+ trips already, and none of them would have gone as smooth if were not for this app. However, every time I find the urge to support app developers behind this app, I hesitate.. if this was a one time buy off, I would’ve bought it immediately. However, given it’s a yearly subscription and typically I only go on 2-3 trips a year. The price just don’t justify the purchase. Perhaps, there could be 2 options? A lifetime purchase for a premium, and 2/3 of the current price of yearly subscription would definitely make me want to buy it!! Please consider this suggestion.

Love it!!. Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted an app that I could save all of my favourite restaurants/cafes by city so when I want to go out, I have a list of options available. I like how it’s linked to the actual restaurant so I can find information right there without having to google. Also love that I can add my own notes! One small thing that would make the app a little better is if there was a button to go back to your guides. Currently I have to press the home button, then click the profile button to see my lists. I’m using the app 90% to save lists and 10% to search for places to go, so even if the lists were all on display in the home tab, that’d be great as well!

So bloated and slow…. This used to be our go to for trip planning, something it did amazingly well. Now it’s so bloated with unnecessary features and bells and whistles that slows it down significantly. It’s barely useable once you have more than a few stops in your schedule. Please optimize the app and make it useable again. My iPhone 13 Pro can barely manage to run the app for 10 minutes before I need to let it cool off and try again later.

Way to much money. I get the need for app developers to make money but it’s way to much and the free version is limited in the worst ways. You need to pay for “offline access” to your trip…really? If you want to charge to use your servers to sync my itinerary to other devices, that would be one thing. Paying to see the data stored on my own device is rediculous

MT. Obsessed with this app it’s been such a life saver and game changer with keeping me organized on my travels. I love that it also recommends places see, eat, explore and the option to add to current itinerary and provides distances to saved places.

So helpful. I LOVE this app! I travel a lot and have jumped around from app to app, but I’ve been loving this one! Planning the itinerary is so easy with the visual and then it’s easy to rearrange excursions to better suit the drive! I love tracking payments for budget and the automatic updates from my emails so all of my documents are in one place!

Good Concept, Poor Performance. I’m not sure what’s up with the app, but it’s impossibly laggy. The only use I have for it currently is to plan everything on the desktop site and then view it on the app. The expense tracking is not as laggy as when trying to add a place to the itinerary. The desktop site is wonderful though, so useful for trip planning.

Great app with some technical issues. Very useful app and the free version has so many features. My only issue is the budgeting section. It often doesn’t work to add expenses on mobile; the “done” button simply doesn’t work

Complicated to use.. Complicated to use.

Great App & Support. My wife and I were planning our honeymoon vacation to Europe. We started with a spreadsheet and quickly figured out that that was not the best way. We found Wanderlog and a few other apps but quickly determined that Wanderlog was ahead of the rest of the pack! We ended up buying the pro subscription because the features were so useful so I highly recommend it - $50 to plan a multi thousand dollar trip is well worth the peace of mind and organization. Once we finished our trip we forgot to unsubscribe and after a year they auto renewed our subscription like most companies do. When I saw the charge I quickly went onto the contact us page and sent them a message saying we have no trips planned and we did not plan on renewing our subscription. They responded quickly and refunded us the renewal subscription which I am so so appreciative of! That business practice and customer service alone would have me recommend it but along with how useful this app was for us I would recommend it to everyone I know who is planning a big trip! 5 stars WanderLog, you’ve got a return customer (my wife is already day dreaming of our next big trip :D)

Disappointed. I tried to input details for an upcoming road trip across northern Ontario, and the app failed miserably. Seems to be geared to flight (or cruise) and single-destination adventures. The auto-upload for hotels did not recognize AirBnb reservations.

Do not recommend.. App doesn’t synchronize when you are collaborating with someone else to plan a trip. Counterintuitive and hard to use. When you book activities thru the App, they aren’t automatically added. When you forward emails to add activities they aren’t always added. The idea of the App is good, but the execution is terrible. App is misleading. Says it’s free and only the Pro version costs and then it automatically charges you the full Pro subscription. And worse it’s crazy expensive. $65 dollars per year. How many trips do you have to do each year so that it’s worth paying that amount? Ratings are also misleading. 4.9 stars out of 5? I imagine most of those reviews are paid reviews. I would rate 0 stars but that option is unfortunately not available. 1 star is to high for this App. Use a shared google sheets document instead. Trip advisor is also good. Those do work and they are free. Don’t waste your time and money on this App. This App is expensive garbage.

Excellent travel planner. I like planning my own trips, and I’ve been using the free version of this app for my last three trips. Once you get the hang of adding your itineraries, it works really well. I also add my transportation and hotel details, so everything stays in one place. My partner and I can build our trips together, which is super convenient. I also really like that it shows the route on the map and has photos of the places — it makes planning a lot easier and more fun.

Very Useful. It keeps everything very well organized!

Wanderlog review. Amazing app! This made it 50 times easier to plan our trip! Instead of checking distances and arranging stuff yourself this made it so much easier and I have recommended this to 10 plus ppl already ! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic. Started using this app for a complicated trip in Europe. It was so easy to follow from itinerary to finances. Highly recommend.

Misleading. The app itself is good but it was advertised as a monthly subscription. I figured I would subscribe for a few months while I am travelling. Turns out they charge you for an entire year automatically. Not monthly as advertised.

Clunky & cumbersome. This app is so annoying. The on-boarding experience is terrible. The interface is painful and confusing. So hard to get a simple view of your plans. The amount of spammy tie-ins and pushy popups is too high. What you get for free is really basic - may as well just stick to Google Maps. Also it tries hard to trick you into signing up for a subscription during on-boarding. Sneaky and dishonest.

best trip planning app!!!. wanderlog is THE place to plan your trip. perfect for organizing, easy to share with friend and collab, love the map feature and the budget feature… i could go on for days about how awesome it is! even just the free version is amazing

Get PRO for free. Got your attention? This app is fantastic! It's so versatile and helps me keep track of everything for my trips. It's incredibly useful. Now, you might wonder why the PRO version is free. Well, let me tell you about my upcoming summer trip. I booked a hotel for 2 nights, costing me a total of $915. Then, Waderlog sent me an email notifying me that the price of my hotel had dropped, and they offered to rebook it for me. Guess what? I managed to rebook a similar room for just $800. That's a savings of $115! The annual PRO license is only $60. You do the math.

Was a good app. I used to love this app, but recently it’s so laggy, and it won’t open up on Google maps anymore. Even re-downloading the app doesn’t help it. I’m wondering if I should cancel my subscription if the issues are not fixed.

Not a Free app. This is a trap app. You have to answer dozens of questions first then you hit a $50 paywall. Free trial is only 7 days. Absolutely useless.

Easy to plan. Super easy to setup itinerary, add flights and hotel and share with group.

Aggressive surveys. Aggressive onboarding survey to mine information from you before you can even see a map or use anything. After I got in it’s been good for pinning places for trips.

Incredibly poorly made. App is unresponsive and often completely freezes when using basic features. Added insult: it asks you to pay for premium constantly.

Full questionnaire!. Before you can even see anything about how the app works or the services offered it presents all the slides to you. Some relevant to if you’re going on a trip and information about that but also a lot of promo slides saying “we are the best app”. It’s a lot when you are first accessing the app, I recommend you let the user interact with the platform before you force all this info on them.

Perfect app for road trips. I have now used this app for planning 5 trips. I love the itinerary function and adding people travelling with us. The budget part is great, especially traveling for a long time. Easy spot to keep receipts. The mapping/distance is sometimes a little off (or a lot), but everything else works amazingly. The recommendations have allowed us to visit spots we had not thought about!

Attention! App Payante. Ne vous faites pas berner, c’est une application payante

My favourite travel app!. I’m perplexed by all the recent 1 star reviews. I’ve been using this app since 2023 and find it so helpful. I’ve used it to plan trips to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Alaska, Japan and the Southern Caribbean. This year I’m heading back to France, later to Nashville and then to South Africa. The “Optimize Route” feature alone is worth the annual subscription fee. One feature I would like is an alert for scheduled events.

Decepcionado. Muchas preguntas al empezar la introducción de la app para que al final te cobre y la gratis solo dure 7 días

So needlessly complicated. 20 minutes on this app and I’m deleting it. So complicated. And the stuff I need I can’t find.

My favourite way to plan!. I’ve been using wanderlog for several years now. The UI along with extracting data such as timings, reviews, and location directly from Google Maps is extremely useful. It’s also been great for planning trips with multiple people in different countries and adding friend along to different sections of the trip. I have recommended it to tons of my friends and everyone has been loving it! Sharing my templates and plans for trips to others has been made easy and extremely gratifying after putting so much effort into planning! Will continue to be using this app until I can’t travel anymore :P

Amazing. Best app for travel planning

Meilleure appli voyage!!. Super pratique pour planifier des voyages en groupe :)

Great app. Love the app for planning trips and having everything in one spot

Best of the Planning Apps. Makes planning so easy and looks great too. Currently using the free version which offers a lot of features. The Pro does add some value but I do wish they had a monthly plan as I only travel a couple of times a year.

No free version. On the App Store you say, “Wanderlog is a free travel app”, with in app purchases. Instead, it’s a free trial with no functionality without payment after the short trial period is over. Very misleading, I will not download any other apps from your company (Travelchime Inc.).

Très utile. Information pertinente Facile d’utilisation pour faire des choix éclairés de parcours Bravo

Infuriating to constantly get tips. The app itself is great. The fact I can’t scroll more than two seconds without some tip popping up is not, and there’s no way to turn them off. Sort that out. Also sort out the fact that there are X buttons on some of the “suggested” tiles, but this X does not get rid of the tile at all, which is the expected behaviour. Seriously though, your app is not complex enough to have a tip showing up during every new interaction - Microsoft retired Clippy for a reason.

Easy to use. Great for planning trips with family or friends as everyone has the ability to add flights, hotels etc.

Efficient travels. Makes planning trips so much easier and the free version is already so good with many tools (plz never make things pro version)

Not a free app at all. You have to pay monthly after only a seven days free trial. Disappointing!

Ideal if you have OCD. I take on the role of being a planner in every trip because I am the OCD one in the group or between me and my husband. I love this app a lot, helps my brain to worry less.

Too much start up. Just starts selling itself immediately, demands information to show ads of itself. even demands a subscription before even showing any value other than its own start up ads. It seems insecure about its value and tries to lock in a subscription even before user tries any of it. Backed out immediately and deleted it.

L’application arrête de marcher. Après 4 jour de voyage sur 1 mois l’application ne veux plus s’ouvrir après avoir payer , personne pour aider

Life changing. Amazing user experience, an absolute need for Type A trip planners.

Terrible on-boarding experience, too full of itself. I saw that it was highly rated, so I tried it out. The first 10 minutes was of the app blasting me with page after page of showing how highly rated the app is on various app stores and review sites. There was then a marketing survey and all sorts of other analytics junk that I didn't care about. I flipped through at least 30 screens before it immediately began upselling me on features I hadn't even seen yet! This company's marketing team needs to get their fingers out of the on-boarding experience. It's so frustrating. I've been soured on the whole experience. Get people INTO THE APP so they can see what it has to offer! Nobody cares how highly rated it is after they've already downloaded it, so stop congratulating yourself.

Easy to use and great planning tool!. Love just adding the places I want to see and then I can plan my day efficiently by moving around to minimize the travel time each day. Loving it so far.

Laggy and glitchy. The app is getting laggy and glitchy. Also very hard to navigate! Map won’t update after scrolling to certain days of itineraries. Very frustrating.

Road trip newbie. I have never planned a road trip and traveling from San Diego to the southern states and renting a car in Savannah is very challenging to me. I really wish I had a travel agent!! I was able to use all of wanderlogs resources to help narrow down what I wanted to see and where I wanted to eat with my husband! I booked my hotels through my credit card company to earn extra points and was able to import those reservations as easy as pie into my itinerary! I am now feeling so much more confident because of this app! I’m going to tell this to all of my friends! My sister is going to Europe for three weeks this summer, and my friend is going to Sicily in September! They will find huge value in it! I am 59.

Room for improvement. It’s great to be able have things like reservations and tickets in one, accessible place. And the money feature that makes it incredibly easy to split tabs for the entire trip is nonpareil! I wouldn’t travel without it. I just wish the notes could be improved. For one thing, why does the screen jump up when I try to type? I can’t see where the cursor is or what I’m typing. (And they don’t seem able to fix this.) Such a weird thing. I just tried to add a note and it took me five tries. For someone with a lot of arm pain, that’s just awful. It’s also maddening because I use a lot of notes. Which brings me to my wish for different note sections. UPDATE: they did add this, which helps immensely. For example, I can add a reading list, viewing list, etc.

Game Changer. If you are a type-A trip planner, or a loose tentative list of things to do planner, this is the app for you. You can plan a trip as detailed or general as you want. My husband and I wanted to keep track of recommendations as we planned and pinned them to the map so we had a general idea of what we wanted to see/do on our trip. Once we were there we could see our location and all the pins we placed previously in relation to where we were. It was the perfect way for us to ensure we checked off all of our must do/eats. HIGHLY recommend for any type of vacationer. We loved that it housed all of our logistic details as well (flights, hotels, airbnb addresses, rental car info, etc.)!

Best app out there, some improvements would make it perfect!. This app does exactly what I needed! Its amazing and very organized. Some recommendations or things I'd love to see that would replace the other two apps I use (Notion/TripIt) would be: - Family Sharing Plan: Would be super useful as I mostly travel with my husband or family members and we would all be willing to pitch in for a full family plan as individually would be too costly. - AI integrations: Like notion, the ability to have notes written for me and weather forecasts is just one of the best features an app can have. - Customizable Interface: Though I love the current one, some trips require more visibility than others in certain pages like for example Roadtrips dont always require the flights tab. Maybe that is something I need to figure out on my own but just in case! As well as some colors/templates would be fun! - Better user-friendly for Ipads: For visibility purposes, I tend to use my iPad for travel plans but this app is a bit difficult to manage some functions therefore I often work between my phone and the iPad to get it to work! Other than all this, I think the app has a lot of growth potential and it is almost entirely everything I was looking for.

all-in-one and awesome. so, i’m a frequent traveler and am still new to itineraries, this app makes them bananas easy to assemble. i’m confident my trip to will go well bc of this app. the GUI is intuitive and helps me navigate everything smoothly. there are multiple functions showing you other attractions in the area, making it easy to build in a full day anywhere. for people like me who drive around in circles getting around on accident it also helps optimize your routes between points mileage-wise. the founders are also super responsive to feedback and that’s always a huge plus. i haven’t used any other apps since getting this one simply bc i haven’t needed to. anyway, check it out! :)

Amazing app!. I love this app and have recommended it to all my friends. I first used it when my husband and I decided to drive PCH from San Francisco to San Diego. I was able to find multiple articles about this drive and easily add popular restaurants and sight seeing spots to my trip. But my absolute favorite feature is being able to build a day by day itinerary. I spent the extra money on the pro version and can optimize my routes which helps reduce drive time. I use this now for all my trips. The only improvement I would make is being able to copy an item from one trip to another. I’m going back to previous locations and trying to catch tech the places I missed. Otherwise, thanks for such a great app!

Plan your best trips yet!. This app is so easy to use that you and your travel companions will actually use it, and so full of useful features that it will become an essential part of your planning and your journeys. The app allows people with different priorities and interests to quickly find the helpful stuff and customize their trip view to highlight that data. For example, my family and I are foodies, so we greatly appreciate the quick links to local reviews (e.g., Eater Park City) for our upcoming ski trip to Utah. I’ve traveled to dozens of countries and spend over 8 years in hotels; this app would have made my life, and travel, so much easier and joyful. At least I can use it for the rest of my life.

Invaluable!. I have the free version and I’m highly considering upgrading to pro in the years that I travel heavily. This app (particularly the desktop version, but the mobile as well) saved a significant amount of time as I was planning my 12-day trip to the UK. I’m a visual person, so the ability to view Google map integration as well as place icon photos next to activities was amazing! The best feature is built into the itinerary tab, where the map auto-calculates your driving or walking distance between each activity, and draws lines on the map to show your route. This was a godsend and made planning routes SO much easier. The app also auto-syncs your hotel and flights, and allows you to craft a budget. Cannot recommend this enough!!!

Excellent trip planner. I first found this app when planning a destination wedding with our daughter. Many family members were attending and this became a valuable tool to keep everyone apprised of the week long activities not to mention all of our personal travel details. I have since upgraded to the PRO version and I love it. It’s so easy and keeps things tidy and organized for easy access. No more paper booklets or pdfs, spreadsheets, loaded calendars, email searches it’s all on my phone and even sends alerts. I love it! Other itineraries are also available to see as well as places to go and things to do. I normally do not “pay” for apps but this one is so worth it. I highly recommend it-try the free version and see how easy this will make your travel.

So close to being good. The idea of wanderlog is really good. And the desktop web app is amazing. The website makes it super quick to organize trips and arrange your days, all while being super easy to share. But the mobile app is honestly garbage. It takes over 10 seconds to load each time - and that’s after a recent update they made that reduced load times by half. Doesn’t sound like much, but it can be extremely annoying if you’re checking the app many times a day to see what you had planned next. Once your finally in you are greeted with a super cluttered hard to navigate interface. There is too much text and its hard to know where certain features are. Doing something as simple as rearranging sections requires you to navigate through 3 screens. Even on a 13 pro the app lags when it scrolls if you add more than just a few items to the lists. The map view is hard to use and doesn’t show you much of the map. Also not really wanderlog fault, but google maps embedded views always have bad performance on mobile - I wish they used a native Apple Maps embed instead. So wanderlog is a great app to *plan* a trip when you’re on your computer in the weeks leading up. But it falls apart as an itinerary app when you’re actually on the trip.

Amazing tool for planning a big trip. This was a lifesaver while planning a 10 day trip across Scotland. Building a day by day itinerary is super easy and you can visualize it all with the map - which was important because we went on a road trip with multiple stops and a lot to see. It keeps track of all the street addresses and websites for everything. I made lists of restaurants and places to get food, and could easily use the app to check their hours and distances. I also love that you can import all of your flight and hotel info for easy reference. Really all aspects of our trip were covered by this app. I got the pro version so I’d have offline access, which we needed on the road. I’ve also used the app for smaller trips. Highly recommend for travel of any kind.

This app is phenomenal.. I’ve never written a review on an app before this one, that’s how great I think it is. Creating an itinerary, budget, expense list, providing routes for travel, approximate travel time between locations, this app has it all. I’ve never been so impressed with the versatility and ease of use of an app before. Seriously try this for your next trip! I love the sharing feature with your travel partners. We can both make adjustments and see everything either of us has added or moved. I can write in who paid for what and approximate costs of all our activities, and keep track of what we want to do each day. And it’s easy to move around if we change our minds!! Truly incredible. Well done developers!!!

Travel planning godsend. LOVE this app! I used to plan using google maps/sheets to plan out where to go and make an itenerary- which was hard to re-arrange and required SO MANY tabs to plan out- Wanderlog condenses it to one easy app. The move to feature makes it SO MUCH EASIER to plan and reroute where maps would constantly rename the layers with any change to the day. It’s so nice to start with a lost and rearrange as needed. The search/add tool works great, I was impressed at how well it did with odd places. I would LOVE to see a section added where you can add a packing list for the trip you can share with friends or just yourself- currently have to use AnyList to do that. Would also be nice to have some sort of budgeting tool in the app but that’s less of a priority.

Game changer. One of my sole purposes of working is to afford to travel and see the world. This app has helped make planning trips (especially with friends and even family) so much easier. We planned a trip to London/Scotland for 4 people including myself. Everyone logged in and was able to input suggestions and must see attractions that we were able to organize easily. We also booked a hotel that we found nearby while using the app. It’s nice for the simple fact that everyone can participate in the planning and make sure they aren’t missing anything. If there is a better way to explore the world and maximize your time (even if you are carving out a lounge day at the beach or pool), I haven’t found it. Very useful and thoughtful app for me and my family/friends.

So simple to use!. Love this app- shared with my husband and it answered all his questions about "how far to this" and "what are we doing next" and what's on the menu there" (via the links embedded on the itinerary). Love this! Would like to be able to print the itinerary for the trip - that's the only upgrade needed. Link to Apple or Google maps on the fly was very helpful. One button to map, connect to CarPlay and we were off! Sharing feature is great- planning a new trip with a friend many states away and she can make suggestions on the itinerary and figure out what she needs to pack based on the activités. Awesome- sure beats the Google Sheets we were using! So easy to add, delete and reroute.

This app is amazing!. We used Wanderlog to plan our honeymoon to Iceland. It was a breeze to add locations we knew about but it was also awesome to be recommended spots to check out that we weren’t aware of in our area. The trip was about nine days and this app made it easy to see how long our drive time was each day (which is so important when you only have about 5 hours of daylight!) I’m already using it to plan a girls trip to Seattle in March! While I normally use apps for free, the upgraded version was pretty cool to be able to optimize the route and save on driving time. I wouldn’t pay for it monthly though, unless I had a trip coming up. Highly recommend the app, either free or with the subscription!

I am a Big Planner and Love this App!. I discovered this app while planning a big road trip around Iceland with my grown kids and their spouses. I needed a way to organize the drive in order to not miss any of the sights along the way. I also needed a way to share the trip with my travel mates. Wanderlog was exactly what I needed. I love that I can add stops and easily reorganize the order. I love that the app calculates the time and distance between sights. And offers directions which links to your choice of Apple, Google, or Waze maps. I can also add notes to my places to keep track of dinner or spa reservations. Be sure to buy the Pro version so that you can use it off line. Happy wandering!

Fabulous app!. I love Wanderlog! It keeps all reservations, notes, websites for places to visit, itinerary all in one place. If you are coordinating a trip with other folks you can share the trip. It keeps costs for everything and you can designate which costs are split among each person, keeping costs visible to everyone and helps avoid the awkward conversations about how much everyone owes. I love this! If you are pro, it will monitor any hotel reservations and notify you of price drops. I just saved over $30 on one reservation because of the Wanderlog notification of a price drop. Forward your reservation emails to Wanderlog for easy tracking of everything!

Great app. This is a very convenient and user friendly app. It made planning easy and the suggestions definitely were helpful. It was great that you can share an itinerary with others who are going on the trip, get alerts when someone makes an update, create notes and checklists. I especially like that you can pull in hotel and flight information from email confirmations and then when you select the places you want to go it can get directions right from the app with options of the different map apps you want to use like google maps or Waze. I am using it now for another trip and my entire family has access to see all the details of the trip. Love it!

The perfect trip planning app!. No more nerdy google docs! I can plan everything down to the hour AND share it with friends and family at home to follow along❤️. Im spending three weeks in Europe and have waaaay too many flights, reservations, city passes, etc. to keep up with. Wanderlog gives you an email to forward all of your confirmation emails to AND IT ADDS THEM FOR YOU. All those reservations and tickets? IN ORDER now by date. Amazing. For Paris, I bought a two day City Pass. I input the places I wanted to go (included free in the pass) and Wanderlog ORGANIZED THEM FOR ME! I now have 48 maximized hours in Paris, with optimized routes and DIRECTIONS (by foot, car, or public) between each one. If you love Resfeber (look it up), Wanderlog is your app.

Organizes and Informs. Wanderlog is a great program to easily keep track of flights, hotels and daily activities - or just various options for daily activities for you to choose from based on weather and your energy level. It also has a wealth of information to help you plan your trip with the ability to self populate most activities information. Also highly customizable. It puts all your flight information (times, confirmation numbers, flight numbers) in one location and the same for hotel reservations and activities/excursions times and locations. A prior review commented that they wished you could print out the itinerary - but you can print your itinerary with option to include information and pictures it keep it to the basics.

Best road trip planner I’ve ever used!. Wanderlog is my new favorite friend. I started using it on the web, but downloaded the app as soon as I realized it existed! I’m planning a big trip for later this year (when things start opening back up)and Wanderlog has been the greatest and most fun tool I’ve ever used. I’ve tried a number of different road trip planners online and offline, but I always wound up super unsatisfied. I was almost ready to purchase a subscription to an okay site when I found Wanderlog. They give you options to upload your lodging information automatically, the show estimated driving distances between locations, and they suggest super cool things to do in whatever city you’re in. Lots of starts from me. I was not paid to give this review, and I’m certainly not a bot, I just want to give credit where it’s due.

In app subscription information is misleading. I updated the star rating because I’m not sure it merits one star, but I really think the in app purchase information should be updated to remove the advertisement of a monthly subscription option since there isn’t one. This doesn’t seem like a difficult fix, and it’s a misleading claim. ======= The in app subscription information listed claims there are multiple monthly plans. Once you install the app, it tries to get you to accept a yearly plan claiming you can choose your plan at the end of your one week trial. This sounded confusing to me, and like I was likely to be immediately charged for a 1 yr subscription without the option to choose a plan at the end of the trial period, so I messaged support. There is actually no monthly plan. Be careful signing up for the free trial. You will be charged for the yearly plan.

Trip Planning Must Have. I am a type A personality planner so when planning a trip I pour over every detail and list it all out. Usually I use a combination of word and excel to plan trips but for our most recent cross country Iceland trip I used Wanderlog. As I already had everything in a spreadsheet it was easy to transfer over. I loved how I could find the locations, input notes and plan out our days. We used the app while traveling to look up our next stop and then connect to Google maps to navigate. I was able to go back in and update my notes while things were fresh on my mind. Using the app was so easy and I will definitely use it for future trips.

Perfect trip planner, finally. I have downloaded and tried using many trip apps. All have at least a few serious failings. Now I am using Wanderlog for a long road-trip through the Sierra Nevadas, Oregon and Washington. I am very happy to find: Multiple stops/waypoints Easy to rearrange See recommendations of sites to visit, which coincides with a very detailed guide I have -Miles and travel times between stops -Email upload of reservations Detailed list of reservations -Ouch - complete automatic list and total cost of reservations -There is no comparable and complete all-in-one planner. -I will subscribe to the Pro version before leaving to be able to use it offline through the mountainous areas without internet service.

Great tool for planning travel. I’ve used this app for the many travels we made abroad. I found useful to use my desktop to navigate and fill in the itineraries for the different days and look at the suggested places nearby for consideration (love how it tells me the hours and if it is open on that day) . The fee I paid to get the premium features paid for itself when it notified me that the hotel I booked has reduced its rate and suggested that I cancel and rebook it. It saved me some money and also got free breakfast for my stay! If there is an option to add train travel time instead of car, it would greatly be helpful especially traveling in Europe. Overall, it is a wonderful app which I have been recommending to my friends already!

Great App, Will Be Even Better With Improved AI. This is the best travel planning app I have been able to find and I really like it. The beta AI is fun, but definitely needs improvement. The AI plots some of it’s recommendations in the wrong city, but otherwise is fast and has great recommendations. The app itself is very easy to use. You can plan your itinerary down to the minute or you can keep it loose with a category of suggested places to visit that are plotted on a map. I love the feature that you can email your hotel/hostel reservations to the app and it will put them in for you. The app will also auto forward the emails if you give it permission to. Definitely try the free version and if you love planning I would recommend the 50/year upgrade for a big trip or multiple trips in one year.

This app is amazing!!!. I love this app. I have used it for four trips so far. Everything is connected ….EASILY!!! I connected my email with my plane ticket and that fell under transportation. All my information was there …then my hotel reservation was connected t under hotel. Everything was there in my itinerary All In ONE place… No more sifting through emails and tickets.. such a stress saver. The suggestions for places to see restaurants to go to are wonderful.. Choose which ones you want everything ends up in one place under headings that make sense! You get in the car you hit the place you’re going to and voila!!! directions!!! it’s an absolute miracle app ..probably the best I’ve ever ever used.

Extremely user friendly. My partner and I used this app, along with the Desktop version, to plan a trip from Philly to Park City this summer. This app was an essential part to our planning. I am a person that needs things to be very clearly mapped and scheduled for me to visualize my day. This app is awesome because it includes a map with your plotted destinations as well as an itinerary. The itinerary automatically calculates the time it will take to drive between each destination, which was such a time saver for me. There are options to add links, notes, and tag prices to each destination which also helped with budgeting and kept all of our lodging details in one place. I can’t wait to use this app for future road trips!

Keeps me organized!. I love Wanderlog because it helps me organize my trip. I usually use Google Docs to plan my itinerary but I found myself doing more work since I had to put everything in manually, such as pictures, time, notes, etc. With Wanderlog, I love that those are included when I add a place. I especially love that I can drag and arrange notes and places without having to re-format everything. The map is super handy in showing my group our route for the day. I like that I can choose to deselect and select the days in the itinerary! That's such a smart touch to this app. Overall, I am enjoying Wanderlog. It's so helpful in planning an organized trip. Everything is straightforward and easy to use.

I Love it. This app is wonderful. I like that I am able to have my whole trip in one place. It is so well structured with all the wonderful functions. I am able to see my budget and able to add in times, which makes the whole planning way more organized and efficient. The pictures feature is a plus, especially when I am able to search the web right on the website and adds it. I just love this app so much and I hope if it does improve it will only be for the better. One thing I wish it improve on is the email forwarding feature. I still think its a bit lacking and can not recognize a lot. Eg. if you book a tour or an activities with a third-party, the email forwarding does not recognize it and won’t add to your itineraries.

Perfect Road Trip App!. I love a road trip, and in particular I like finding all the special little places, all the lesser known sights. Wanderlog has been a godsend! I have been able to keep everything in one app — hotel reservations, ideas, brochures — and to organize it by day in my Itinerary. I even splurged and went for the Pro and now the app optimizes my other so that we hit every stop in the most effieicnet way possible (allowing us to see more cool stuff!) We just used Wanderlog in a tour of the Great Lakes region, and the app pointed out lighthouses we might have missed, and helped me maximize our adventure. As we prepared for the trip, I loaded up the app with my wishlist of things to do and see, and when we got here it was invaluable! This is the app I always needed. I love it!

Unbelievable App!!. I am SO glad I stumbled across this app. I used it for planning a first time trip to New York City and it was amazing!!! I kept track of flight and hotel information with confirmation numbers. I kept track of my expenses and used the walking map like it was going out of style!!!! Wanderlog allowed me to stay on track with all the sightseeing and events we had planned (and we had a ton). I love that the itinerary broke everything down, day by day, and that Wanderlog included the phone numbers and website links to each restaurant, attraction, or whatever we had planned. I almost feel guilty using it without paying! It’s COMPLETELY worth it to have this app. I am going to plan ALL of my trips with Wanderlog from now on. Thank you

Best travel app. I used to organize my travel with draft emails and spreadsheets - Wanderlog has literally changed my entire travel experience. I love how easy the app is to use, how you can aggregate what you want to do and then organize into itineraries - the map feature makes it so easy to pivot throughout the day to whatever is nearby. Or, for example, you find a great restaurant or store while you're out - it's so easy to add so that when a friend comes to you years later you can point them right to where you wanted to go. Plus having all the travel info in one place makes it so easy to navigate everything from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about this app.

There’s no better way to plan a trip. Simply the best travel planning app ever. 100% worth the paid membership. Keep all your travel documents, tickets, and itinerary in one place, easy find the details of restaurants, places on your itinerary, and reservations, and optimize your daily itinerary routes to save you time and energy. I love all the little details - for example, it will tell you if a place you’ve added to your itinerary is closed on the day you want to go, it automatically pulls restaurant details and websites so you can easily access any necessary information within the app without having to search for it yourself, and it will send you reminders for hotel check-ins, flights, trains, etc. This is the only way to plan trips.

Simply the BEST!. I’ve been searching for a travel app for awhile and so many others have come up short. To put it simply, this app is the best of the best when it comes to travel. I love having all the details of my trips - airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, activities, restaurant reservations - all in one place! It’s so easy to share with friends for family/friend trips so that everyone is on the same page. The absolute best feature, in my opinion, is the “explore” feature! The app recommends things to do based on your destination! This is fantastic for finding places to eat! Love love LOVE! On a completely separate note, their development and customer service team is excellent, as well. They greatly welcome feedback and are continuing to improve the app! 💯I am a customer for life 🙌🏼

Travel Agent Success Story. This app has not only changed my personal life but also my professional life. I can create itineraries for my travel agent clients and share the confirmation details needed for the trip! This saves me the hassle of having to share everything individually through email. Everything is readily available for them once I submit car, lodging, flight confirmations. And I can put restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. And the best part for me is that I can recommend excursions and in the notes section place my booking link for the excursions so they can book at their leisure! I cannot wait to continue to build with this app. Next up I will master travel guides on the app as I travel the world!

Amazing+ one suggestion. This app is exactly what I’m looking for for years! Saved my day. I was using google docs to share with my boyfriend about the plan on a trip to Hawaii. We have flight tickets, hotels, cars, and places we are interested in one google docs. It was a total mess. Finally I found this app, it has all the features I am looking for. Found the itinerary very useful. We first created two sections and added all places we would like to visit to the sections. And than, using the itinerary feature, we can check places’ locations on the map and at the same time plan it into each day’s itinerary. If there’s one more feature I can add, I would like to be able to add a place from the map to my itinerary .

The Penultimate World Travel App!. Now every app has its Pros & Cons, but there’s really very little Wanderlog CAN’T do! #1 on my list?! Import confirmation emails for Flights, Lodging, Excursions, etc! Even Airbnbs! Just fwd the email to the provided trip email address and it almost instantly is added to your entire itinerary! Helps with planning your days based on where you stay and if you get lost, one app for all directions, etc! And get the yearly premium plan for so many great features that are truly helpful! Upload images from your phone to each place on your trip and share your experience so others can take full advantage or just see how much of a jetsetter you really are!

My favorite Trip planner. I am going to New York City for the weekend next month and I wanted to pre plan my trip. It’s a big city with a lot to see so I wanted make sure I had time to see everything throughout my short stay. At first I started by pinning everything on google maps but that wasn’t enough for me because i wanted to plan everything day by day and the order I wanted to see everything in. I came up with the idea of searching up in the app store “trip planner” and Wanderlog was one of the apps. I went through every single app and none of them attracted me like this app. I decided to give it a try and to my surprise I loved it because I could see what I was going to do each day and the order it was in. A huge plus was how it connects each location so it’s easy to understand.

Best Trip Planning EVER!. I travel a lot both personally and professionally, and I've tried a LOT of different ways to organize the travel. Wanderlog is HANDS DOWN the best and easiest way I've found to do it. Recenlty, I planned a 5 day trip for my family that involved multiple stops each day. With Wanderlog, I was able to optimize the route so we made the most use of our time. I use it to collect all the places that I might want to go and then organize all of the reservations and stops during a trip. It is absolutely indispensable to me. Also, I've contacted their customer support a couple times with small bugs, and they've responded very quickly and made the changes almost immediately. I can't say enough about Wanderlog.

Great app, wish it offered widgets!. This app has been amazing for planning a 3 week trip in Mexico with my husband. It’s just what I was looking for! This trip we only have a small backpack each since were jumping around places a lot and it’d be too hard bringing bigger bags or a suitcase. This app has been great to plan out this type of trip and to visualize our route and where we’ll be able to stay and leave ours bags some days. The user interface is nice and clean, it has a lot of awesome features, but the thing I really wish it had? A widget for our phones/iPads for quick access when we’re on the road so we don’t have to open the app and go into our itinerary every time. It would be a great addition and give this app 5 stars for me!

This App Kept us Sane!. I recently used Wanderlog to plan our trip to Switzerland & Germany. I tried about 4 different trip planning sites/apps and this was the best! My favorite feature was using the app to determine the best route between stops - most of our days were walking around one town or another, so it helped us to streamline our plans to see as much as possible! No matter how well planned a trip is ahead of time, once you're at your destination, things change! Wanderlog's integration with google maps made it SO easy to find alternate trains or new routes on the fly. I'd love to see better support to alternate means of transport like ferries, but overall the app is wonderful and I don't know how we would have survived our trip without it!

Love it but small glitch. I am so happy I found this amazing app! I’ve been able to plan my road-trip with ease. I love all of the details that I can add with budget, cost, time, and I especially love the way it shows you the distance between each address/activity to be the most fuel & time efficient on your trip. It also provides you with google maps, hours of the business, website to each business, and contact info. You can also create checklist/notes for each activity, etc. This is the greatest thing! With that being said, after a few days of using the app the itinerary tab started glitching by the page automatically moving up & down without being able up stop it as well as not being able to select anything on the page. It needs to be updated.

Really helpful for planning my trip to New York!. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app, but this has been SO helpful for me planning my trip to New York City. I’ve not been since I went on a school trip as a kid, so being able to see everything and rearrange to see what works best with travel was so helpful. I only used the free version, so I don’t know about the premium upgrades, but I was plenty happy without them. It imported my flights so they were easily accessible, and I love that it gives you driving, walking, and transit travel time options as well as multiple map options (google, apple, and waze.) This has been so helpful for me to figure out where to go in a new city and keep everything organized!! I would 100% use this app again for another trip.

Great travel app. I have been using travel, log to create a Bourbon Trail trip to Louisville Kentucky. It has helped me organize my day trips and has given suggestions of places to see and to eat, which have been highly appreciate it. I love how it gives the map and the driving time between places of interest and the distilleries. I have used other travel apps and they have been difficult to navigate if you have a central place that you are staying in tonight. Travel log mix it very easy to put this in to the travel plan. Also, the people I am traveling with have been able to easily see the itineraries maps and plans. So far it has been a great experience and I hope to review again after I complete my trip. Period.

This Just Immediately Turned Me Off. On their website it says, “ As mentioned, there are also many free alternatives to TripIt Pro (like Wanderlog) So, paying $49 a year isn’t necessary. In fact, with Wanderlog, you have access to all the features offered by TripIt.” And the first thing that pops up in the app is an offer to connect to your Gmail account. Click it and it tells you to subscribe for $50! Guess what? There is a free alternative to Wanderlog that lets you sync your plans from Gmail FREE! It’s called TripIt! LOL Deleted this falsely advertised nonsense. Update to Developers: No, dismissing the dialog box is not my point. Your app is sold as having the same free features as TripIt (and more). But the free version of TripIt has more features that are important to scheduling a trip and one of those is connecting to Gmail. The free version of TripIt connects to Gmail and pulls in your itineraries from there. You have to pay $50 to sync Wanderlog to Gmail.

Trip to Ireland. We downloaded this app after researching the best traveling tools. This app is amazing!! We used it to plan a 10 day road trip through Ireland. We used it to replace our spreadsheets for flights, stays, destination & food. The pro version worked no matter what our internet access was. We printed our itinerary just in case but never needed the paper version. Worth every penny. We are already using it to create our next trip to Turkey! Some of the best features are being able to rearrange your activities in order of fastest route and by day. We also love the recommendations for things to see that we may have missed. We also love the map feature and being able to export the info if needed. Game changer!

An app that’s as type A as I am. I had already filled out most of a Google travel itinerary with multiple spreadsheets and image galleries for our trip to Iceland, but I abandoned it and put everything into Wanderlog. And paid for the pro version. It was sooo easy and it allowed me to easily move things around and try different itineraries. It automatically calculated drive times and showed photos for different attractions, which would have saved me so much time if I had started with that. You can even share everything with your travel companions (not that my family bothered to look, but that’s their loss…). My only worry is that they might one day stop supporting/updating this app!

My Favorite Part of Vacation. I love planning & organization & being prepared. This app is my fave part of vacation by allowing me to research, organize and plan my entire trip months before it happens. When everything comes together so well the trip is even more enjoyable. I love the feature that tells you how far one activity/restaurant/ destination is from the last especially for planning things out. Before this I was using my notes app but this is so much better with linking reservation numbers, times, dates & destinations. It even recommends options to you if you wish & you can share it with your partner/friends/family that are traveling with you. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to vacation better
