Basically be the first or pay to win. I have tried to play age of apes multiple times but I always was near the bottom in power even when I had a strong gang I saw ape’s with millions of power while I only had 500 thousand either because I was not first on the server or others get insane boosts by using money and another reason I uninstalled is that you need a lot of time and strategy to even get to considerable levels of power which I don’t have because I have school and am not the best at strategy so unless you have a debit card with money you can spend or a lot of time and effort you can’t get to the top

Ignored As Loyal Customer. This game was my favorite until yesterday it force closed on me. I can’t get back, I tried everything. I informed them about the issue. And I got ignored. I even tried the suggestions from the internet and deleted the game to re-install it again but it’s worse now, it doesn’t allow me to install it. Now my gaming friends will think I abandoned them, and we have no personal contact because that’s not safe. Please read before download!. This company is a total scam! Myself and about 100 other people bought coins off there direct website and because they had a clitch we did not know about we got a discount on the coins. Just thinking it was a sale we went through with it. Well they took the in game currency away then held our account hostage asking for more money. $350 to be exact. Complete illegal scam. Of course Apple sides with them like they always do so you wont get your money back. Leaving this game and Apple all together. If it happens to you go to your bank and get it all back. Complete and utter scam! Edit: to developers response please do not lie it was through your own website you had a Clitch where everyone got a good deal. We as loyal gamers thought we were just getting a good deal. Then you say we took advantage and take the money we spent back and demand we pay more. Again all do not fall for there lies and scams.

My Age of Apes review. In my opinion this game is fun but has some flaws. This is definitely a pay to win game for sure and also if you are attacked over and over by anyone higher get ready to lose 3/4 of your troops (they die) and it literally takes forever to build them back. So something you spent a long time trying to build aka troops can never be brought back as easily. If these are not for you I would suggest avoiding this game. I liked the game until the biggest player on the server I am on, attacked me, killing off 3/4 of my troops. I spent a long time trying to build those and even though I knew coming into it that this game was pay to win, you will find that it is very difficult to recover after that. You can blow lots of money on this game too just a heads up.

Reminds me of planet of the apes. I been playing this game for a couple days since I downloaded it and it’s a good strategy game it reminds me of planet of the apes accept for no humans but I gave this game 5 stars because it’s fun and I like strategy games I think you should change the graphics and make the game more realistic instead of cartoonish that would be more cool and add more different mutant apes but other then that it’s a fun game

Very dope.. Can’t lie by far the best phone game I’ve played in a while. I honestly can’t stop playing it. I’m addicted now. Lol. Definitely recommend this game to friends and family and children. Really fun game. I wouldn’t be surprised if they make a movie out of this game. Clicking on all the characters and seeing what other taunts they can do is pretty cool. I can already see who the main characters would be if they were to make a movie.!!🔥🔥…………..💡

Great game for pay to play. I really like playing this game but it is really getting out of hand with cost and long really in true day and time for research like you would have 89 days to do a research and if you don’t have the money then you’ll be waiting 89 days because it cost to buy CDs so that could be fixed to where researches are not long and not get out of hand with adding stuff that just makes it for more pay to play. This game would be a five star. I asked one of my teammates on how they got a head. What was their secret? They related back American Express if you guys that do not know what that is it is a credit card so they let you know pay the plane.

I liked this game but…. I started to play this because of an advertisement, so I hade the game for about a day and half I was getting on it later in the evening I was loading fine all of a sudden it kicks me out to my Home Screen and reloaded it see if it would work then it did the same thing then I checked see if there was a update there wasn’t so I turned of my internet on my ipad then turned it back on it did nothing. So plz get it fixed because I’m looking forward to playing this game more

Loved the game. Loved the game gang was number one I was top 10 in the server. The only problem is the weak people in charge they don’t understand it’s a war game and tactics need to be used to come out on top but they just want to spend money and make their numbers bigger and skip the war part yeah building my troops for over a month and only getting to use them for kill day is not very fun especially when we have actual targets we could be hitting

Pay To Win. This game is Pay To Win. I’ve seen players spend upwards of $10 USD per day to become huge. Then they bully you for no reason. They claim that they are “farming” you for resources, but when they are level 30, the resources you have below level 20 are pocket change to them. It’s a very sad community of broken people. Many of the players in this game are abusive and racist in the chat. There are a lot of players in Asia, and the Middle East that say abhorrent things and then claim “I’m not American, so I can say those things because I don’t know any better.” The worst players on the server I played on were straight up egomaniacal narcissists. They’d get in the live feed and just spew outright garbage to make themselves sound like important people in the game. The MEOW gang leader was a complete tool. Lying, being deceitful, social engineering, and distrust are the only ways to get ahead in this game outside of spending tons of money on in app purchases. Like many of the other reviews, I was sold on the puzzle aspects, which after level 10 just disappear. The variety of the games dwindles as you get bigger and soon you are continually pushed to buy upgrade packs to stay competitive. What other reviewers say is 100% true. One or two gangs get huge by spending, then form a clan. Finally you are constantly bullied and attacked by them making the whole game play experience nothing more than a daily annoyance.

Switching servers. You should be able to switch servers with your main character, adding another server is pretty cool, but the downfall on that is you have to start all over again when your in a different server. It’s a good money making scheme for the developers, I give you guys that. But it’s discouraging having to start over again, and again. The game will get boring, and eventually everyone will find the next game to be suckered on sooner or later. and you’ll have your whales playing the game themselves. And when they find out competition is hard, they’ll find a different game to play as well.

It used to be fun. This game used to be fun, then all the money that has to be paid to even stay somewhat remotely relevant. Playing it for free will only last so long, and nevermind the huge amounts of glitches and bugs in the game, which you finally trick the system into letting you report it only the have the support team brush you off and say oh it is being fixed or whatever. I lost money and rolls and everything on this game and have spent hundreds of dollars but I don’t matter to them, only their big spenders do. And I do mean big spenders. Then those guys go around bullying and beating up on the smaller guys simply because they can because no one else will spend that kind of money. Honestly best to just stay away from this game unless you just want to blow tons of money and to find out it still isn’t enough.

Doesn’t store your data. Update: I've got response that I should reach out to customer support and they will help me to find my old account. I did that. They said that they can't do anything since my old account wasn't linked to Apple ID or Facebook. And I also don't remember user ID (it was default random string) and server ID (there was more than 1??). I’m curious how often other users remember their ID and server ID. I guess, it would be one more abandoned account. Now it helps to resolve the mystery of why everyone in my “band” became inactive - they also lost their access. I used to like this game. But once I moved to a newer version of iPhone - I’ve lost the whole progress. A bunch of other apps stored their state even if I didn’t login there. But here I lost everything. I won’t start from scratch. It’s not worth it.

Can’t play with friends. I’d give this 5 stars if I could figure out how to play with friends!! Apparently my buddy is on another server than me so we can’t play together and he can’t join my gang I mean that’s doesn’t make sense he’s tried looking me up and the gang and still nothing then he says are we in different servers and I said idk but I feel like that’s shouldn’t matter because we can’t control what servers we get out on especially since he downloaded the game a week after I did so how are we to play together or get on the same servers? Can someone help please! I don’t wanna restart just to play together but I feel like that’s the only option because than at least we can select the same server to play on

Not bad but not so good. I played this game for some time, but it has a lot of stupid moments - stupid banners that you have to close every time, stupid bugs and freezes, and sometimes, it’s not a logical game. The reason why I removed it was the case when I bought the upgrade for one h with their in-game currency, and it purchased another one with the most higher price. I collected those CDs for a while. But their support blamed me, saying I was not attentive and this was my problem. Instead of a solution for this, they just blamed I’ll not recommend this game with such relations from the administration

Trash Game!! Total scam, PLEASE READ⚠️. This game stinks. First of all, we downloaded this game because of what we saw on the ads, on the ads they said that you ate bananas and got bigger, and jump through fences to get more territory. 😡 Second of all, the storylines are a big snore. Third of all, the game is not as fun as we thought it looked. We are super mad, and we will definitely not be playing this game anymore, straight to delete. Normally, we know that games are cheats, like the bingo games, where you can win “real money”, but we got caught in our own temptation! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME! I’m warning you, you’ll regret it ⚠️

New update. I am changing my review to 5 stars. Just wanted to say that the update was great, however had to wait a few days for the second research slot to actually come up and get it. I was just a little impatient and should of waited. Just to start this game is really fun. The thing that is important is getting into a gang that has a lot of active members and have a lot of power. Also I would recommend that you find friends to play with you as well. This game is a game where you have to me participate in everything they have going on. There are many many rewards for completing events and daily activities. The devs are really good at getting back to you if you have issue as well. I also recommend that you join the discord. There are many many people there that can help you along the way. This has been a great community and everyone is really helpful. There are those few in every game that make it at time not fun, however if you are in a good active gang, that won’t be such an issue.

Needs to improve servers or something. This game is cool being two days exploring it . But there are some servers issue or something that simply is freezing the game. I have to deleted and re isnatalled back and works but later going through the screens within the app its crash. For now I will dleted and later give a try. All my others apps works great and this only happens with this game. May be to many users!. Please work on that. I write to them , but still no asnwer, Since is not im gonna rqts a refund for sime of the purchase within the game since I cant used

They are lying to you. I play this game through an advertisement which was a totally different game than the original. I’ve read the responses the developer has made on why that is, and I noticed that this developer is lying to you harshly. Now i didn’t pay any money on this game, (because who really pays for these things anyways), so Im not to concerned with how many things you have to buy, (I also don’t game much). Yet my problem here is the false advertisement and then the developer lying to us to keep us playing this game, (because hopefully, eventually, possibly, much likely, in maybe 10 years are So, the game will be like it was advertised). I think we need to hold businesses more accountable a lot more because these companies are more disconnected with the people who buy and/or use their products.

Better Options. Ive played for almost a year now. I got sucked into leading and its the only reason I stuck around. There are FAR better options out there within this genre. Rise of Kingdoms for example puts this game to shame. The first thing I would say is DO NOT spend money. There are far too many game altering bugs that will take any money spent a complete waste. Fighters not gaining rage while defending passes lead to huge troop losses. A bug making it so I cant city hop and reinforce teammates lead to our clan leader getting zeroed. I mean you might as well take your cash and just set it on fire. Besides anything you buy will be nerfed a month later anyways. Cant wait to escape this game but im a loyal guy so sticking out and keeping these videos and screenshots for a good laugh later on.

Pretty good. A couple tweaks need to be made. So I love the game in a lot of areas I just see a lot of ways it could improve. First of all make the mutant lairs harder they are way to easy. Also a feature to queue into public matches would be nice. I enjoy the mini games but the actual kingdom part could use some revamping too it’s basically a copy paste rise of kingdoms so if you could add in some uniqueness while still keeping the entertaining mini games I think that would be a MASSIVE improvement. Make the mini games in the lairs more interesting it’s fun for the first couple of them but then it gets repetitive maybe add ranged weapons and or new attacks or maybe an entirely new combat system. Still I have to say LOVE the concept the stories great the cutscenes are great just fix the things I said and I think it could be massively improved.

Gameplay so far is lacking.. I’m an hour into this game. The cutscenes are excellent, the base building is standard, and the actual fighting is…very basic. The fights turn into this generic grass field with generic color coded buildings that you drag from one another to take over(similar to galcon). Seriously we’re in a ruined city so why isn’t the battlefield…a ruined city. Maybe this is just how the intro is. I’m gonna give it a chance because the cutscenes and the audio are of very good quality. However if the gameplay stays this way I’ll most likely stop playing.

Wow. This kills my boredom, now it is pay to be ahead of competition so to speak, but it also has the social environment. I dropped Facebook off of my agenda and utilize this app to be somewhat social. Just a heads up, some people will dump 1000’s into this for what ever reason they see fit, but it can be enjoyable if you get a tight nit group of people on here to play with. I’m hoping for a server merge soon, I play on server 57, and now 79. It is easy to switch between servers. The translation system could be tweaked a bit and a lot of the censorship needs worked on but overall if you’re looking to kill time, this be the game for you. Be advised this game doesn’t filter people and their sick intentions so parents that do read my review watch over your kids shoulder. I’ve reported multiple sickos trying to get in touch with other players in a bad way, the reporting system is up to par and they act swift to solve any issues that arise, such as cyber bullying or the other scary stuff that comes with online connection.

It’s good. The game is fun and it’s kind of relaxing to play it’s like when I don’t have an idea of which game to play I just chose this one. I hope this game can get different updates like people that low level they can compete in the same events but instead if the low level battling the high levels the lows battle the other lows. So lows don’t have to worry about the highs but it is hard to get in clans because every time I join one they just kick me out the second day. I think the game should put you in clans with your level. But overall I think the game is good.

Not Bad. The game is good. If you aren’t paying money in the game though you will definitely be behind a lot of other players but the game is still enjoyable. One thing I e noticed since I have started though is overtime once we have reached launch pad and an overlord is established, at least for my server my people are inactive and the server is dying. There are only like 3 main gangs or clans in the game who are actually active in the game. This can be frustrating and there is a lot of inner dilemma and sort of diplomacy issues in the game.

Worst Game. Like all there games, there not player balanced. The very high level preys on lower, There are no way to win in any planning. High level players dominate every event, prey on lower, so there no way one can advance without paying hundreds of dollars in shields and quickly advance.. There no way to plan. These games are not about skill and planning, more a arms race who has bought something other player does not have. If everything was even, and everything available to all, then it would be about skill and planning. If your the type will pay to win this company will treat you will, but price high and you better continue to pay or you end like the rest of us never getting anything for endless hours of playing a very badly designed game, made to make money for those that more likely never play games to know how badly these game are. There are solutions like giving unlimited shields for levels in the early stages, once you get high enough to defend yours through planing and skills, the unlimited free shields are removed. You Tool given to low level players to even out the high level. In oder to be a planning and skills game you have to be balanced and even for all, but it’s not. Unless you like giving your money away, this is not a game for a true gamer….

honestly wasted a lot of my time. so i got this game a couple months ago, i was obsessed with it. now with the couple months ive spent on it, i lost all of my progress. overall this game is amazing, it could use a couple fixes but i didnt give 5 stars because of this data wipe. if youre browsing through the ratings, i really recommend getting this. im just saying that theres a possibility in the future that they could add another update like this that wipes your progress. but if youre okay with things like that, i HIGHLY recommend it!

Age of Apes. Great game but t4f support stinks. I opened a ticket 2 updates ago. Ticket was closed and I'm still getting notifications from support. This is getting rediculous getting constant notifications for something that only happened once. UPDATE; Updated game twice in one day. New building added does not work. Reported it to support. Got 3 responses. 1)Standard response acknowledging ticket was received. 2)Support updating me that they will have me a response in 24 hours. 3)Support contacting me to rate their service ticket was closed. ALL within 12 hours of reporting issue. Guess what. Still have the problem and ticket was closed. If I have to delete game again I will seek a refund on my subscriptions and never play t4f games again. Stars went from 2 to 1 because I have to give them one. Developers contact me NOW

Fun Game Poor Technical Support. This game is so much fun! I have a great clan and love playing for hours. Their technical customer support is the worst! I found a glitch on their new weapon feature and were my troop are being destroyed! It’s been a week they refuse to correct the problem or admit there is a bug! I have lost 255 thousands troops which is month worth of training, resources and money. So be aware if you don’t have any technical problems you will have fun! But right now I’m suffering because their lack of good development and experienced support representatives!

Good game!. If you need a boredom killer this does it! like most games like this, it’s mostly a boredom killer but all In all…it has things other don’t…like actually talking with the subtitles instead of just subtitles of what the character is saying without the the actual sound of their voice talking….and I mean cmon, it’s like being put into a planet of the apes movie and being an ape…not to mention the added effect of also encountering zombie like apes who have been infected by a toxic like chemical…it’s pretty good for boredom killing and gets addicting the further you go.

False Advertising. This game legitimately had a Facebook ad that compared in-game cinematics to in-game graphics and then claimed the cinematics weren’t identical to the game graphics, but it was close and it is a fun game. That’s paraphrasing but the point is… they made an ad about cinematics compared to gameplay and then the actual game the game has doesn’t even use the gameplay that they used in the ad? What a JOKE. You can’t showcase cinematics vs gameplay and then use gameplay that isn’t from your game! The game is fun so I’ll give it a Star, but take your 1 Star review for false advertising your own ad that is supposed to show it isn’t false advertising? Reporting these games to Apple is easy. Keep these companies in line or else the future of entertainment is always going to be bait and switch. I’m sick of it. Edit to dev response: No. you portrayed this game as one thing and then flipped it while actually playing. That’s called bait and switch and is illegal in many markets, and is against Apple TOS and they have a report description for that under scam/fraud. Don’t ever play this game guys!!!!!!!!. It’s sad to say but Tap4fun is the one will destroy your enjoyment of a game . They will make each P2W or top player of each servers feel they can be very strong and powerful in their own world untill you spend like 25-35k$ to max vip and then they will merging u all to oldest servers to make sure u got beaten by bigger TOP who spend more than u a year played…. It’s because they want to make sure U ALL Spend more and more to catch up or get Zeroed by others , and trust me u can’t even earn Anything from Events no matter how strong and how much moneys to spend before that because they will also make sure u will always losing by others Who can spend $$$$ in a day! That’s all Bull*** that hundreds players from our group servers feeling now about this game . And don’t trust their 5* ratting cuz most of it is FAKE

Purchasing packs delayed cost me the game then got billed more. Something is wronge with the way this game bills and gives you packages I was trying to purchase them I thought it was me they weren’t applying so I’d try again or another well it billed me for all the things while I was trying to get it to work I didn’t get it costing me the games battle. I did call apple customer service they did issue me a refund as I told them the billing issues interfere with the game particularly whe you need a timoly response to beat a distributor then all the sudden I go back in the game a ton of packages I did t buy pop up as if I bought them saying they have arrived. What the heck. Anyway the packages amount to allot of money they ai only wanted one on. Apple was able to give money back on some not the apply game weekly 4.99 package but did cancel this.

I love this game but…. This game is my favorite out of all i have right now i get it, its pay to win and false advertising but its fun to play solo, u know what i mean. Honestly this game might not be as cool as it seems to you guys but i see it in a different way i like this game a lot just a few little problems with the ads. Personally idk how this game is getting so much negative comments on the ads, like just concentrate on the game fro. Now a problem is clans, when u enter a clan you can see that someone chatted like 1 hour ago and its pretty annoying how they dont chat with you until they decide to show up. So pretty much thats my comment about the game. Conclusion: love the game few problems in the ads but overall i like it…

Epic monkey game. I downloaded this at first for a meme but it’s actually the most thought I’ve seen out into an app in forever. There’s actual well animated cutscenes and the character designs are actually really cool plus it’s all monkeys which is awesome. I haven’t seen 1 add in my hour of playtime and it feels like the developers actually put thought and care into this game. Gonna keep supporting so hopefully we get more games like this and not lazy tiktok games riddled with adds and pointless micro transactions

Another game with misleading ads. I downloaded this because the ads I kept seeing for it made it look like a puzzle or collection game, but ended up being yet another “base building” game like so many others out there. The only reason I’m giving more than one star is because it DOES have puzzle mini games but these are thrown in like afterthoughts and don’t affect the rest of the game. The main point of the game is to build a base on a giant map, join a gang of other players, and try to work with other people to make your gang bigger and stronger than the others. If you’re into that kinda thing, then enjoy.

False Advertising, Boring, But Unintentionally Funny. First off this is not a .io style game as advertised, there is no online element apparent, despite the small bits of real “gameplay” trying to deceive you into believing. There no real gameplay to be talked about, it plays as a big tutorial where in it tells you where you click, what to press, and your “reward” for doing so. The gameplay loop is click on an objective, wait a few seconds for it to be completed, then tap a challenge objective and play the advertised collect/fight over bananas against bots. No challenge, no online, and no time worth wasting here. However the silver lining is: the idea of a game about chimps fighting over bananas in the .io style is hilarious. I so desperately would like to return to monke, but no return is to be had here

Game devs and company are not trustworthy.. I would be careful about spending money for this game. The lack of real customer service is an issue and they will falsely advertise package prices based on their own mistakes to get people to buy only to take back the items purchased and not refund the money. Don’t trust the game or developers. The response to is to customer service which is a joke because what do you think I along with others have done for multiple days. We contacted VIP Customer service and in game with the same AI generated bot response. Some people are threatening suing the company for misleading people. Apple services would not even refund the purchase. A big joke all around.

Fun, but…. This game was a lot of fun, however they monetize the crap out of it by constantly throwing repeated ads to buy their stuff at you while you’re playing. Once a session would be fine, but they constantly barrage you with it over and over. Then theres the lack of players. They lock the servers to new players after a certain time frame, then no new people can join, to fix this issue, after months and months of hard-work and gameplay, they will reset you, your clan and almost everything you’ve worked towards, then combine you with other servers (where the players are stupidly higher power) and compensate you with a few cd’s and some building speedups while you’re in the midst of basically starting over. If you play, don’t pay as everything you pay for and work for will just be essentially restarted with the exception of your level and your items. I for one will not be downloading or playing this game again.

❤️❤️🩷🧡💛💚. I played this game a couple of years ago but eventually stopped because i grew apart from it but it was fun when I was consistently playing it back then. I now recently rebought the game and the feeling of learning how to play along with that prior experience to help me along the way gives it such a nostalgic feel. The game was fun then and is still fun now so if your debating weather to buy this game or not then you should.

Best game. Oh my god, this game is the best it’s so fun when your on the road this game is the Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest so I totally understand how you would like want to get the games age of 🦍 but later on in the game you can use multiple lathes to take over your enemies and you have more colors of bases but later on iv seen cussing one is h$ll that’s the only thing you should worry about (or cunfuision) if you let your kids do I love my 2 kids Gabriela and Gabriel there twins 💲💋💯👍😎👩🏼👩🏽

Don’t make purchases. And won’t receive event prizes. Don’t make purchases as you won’t always get what you paid for and customer service won’t fix anything. They will just say that you received it when you didn’t. Even with screenshots for proof. Also if you should win an event you won’t get your prize. I placed 3rd in the feat of strength event an didn’t receive my award. The first 5 were supposed to win a city skin an nothing for me. I was the 4th to reach 2,500,000 strength and then passed to 3rd place and stayed there for the whole event. So by either metric I should have gotten the skin but nope. I won’t support this game anymore and I will never ever play or download anything that this company is involved in.

Used to be fun. VERY MISLEADING ADS. NEVER HAD A SCREEN LIKE THE ADS. When i started playing this, it was a blast. But this game is more about Pay2Win. If you are not willing to spend at least $50-60 a month, you will not enjoy it for very long. Research takes months after a while, training troops takes over 24 hours. These times are to get you to pay a lot. I know someone that built quick but spent almost $30,000 in 6 months. If you play this be prepared for the pop-up’s asking you to buy regularly ***Update*** Devs, there is not one scene in the game where we actually trade punches with another player. So please do not lie about thinking the players will think it is similar to the ads. Those ads are completely false advertising. The arena seems to be similar to operation mutants but we don’t chase down bananas either to grow.

Here is the truth. Amazing graphics, awesome storyline, good challenges, barely to no ads, but one thing… you should chip in and help make more challenges, like I would go and scrap metal, face the same challenge over and over and over, ad something to where you can change the challenges. This is all and I recommend for people to play this game, not a pay to win type, good time killer, and most importantly, almost no ads, that is all, but could the creators please fix that issue, it would make this game a whole lot better. Honest review. The game is fun, it is definitely pay to win. The developers don’t seem to care about the game anymore but more about how much money they can make they keep raising the prices of in game purchases. Putting gambling type features in the game. They get away with bad customer service and sketchy game sales through keeping the game as a beta. If you have problems with your purchases good luck they truly do not care about you once they have your money and if you refund a purchase more than once your account will be banned.

To boycott T4F. I agree! Sea game could of been an awesome game to play for a very long time! But! They allowed I think the Asian community to just be stupid and destroy servers! SMH! I feel bad for the good honest players being crapped on but I do have a little bit of a smile because I warned with my last post on the server I was on to the Asian players they were going to destroy the server and before you know it..server be dead and or shut down and by the way I have no problems with Asians.. Love this game. This game has great graphics. The cut senses are insane. Definitely recommend downloading I downloaded it just to have a little something to do in my free time but this game decided to make me my own free time. There so much stuff to discover. Endless fun. The Devs are scammers. Update - the devs and customer service are scammers. I have communicated my points directly with their in-game customer service. Customer service either parrots what their management tells them to or is a poor excuse for customer service. When I brought up a vip-level customer service they told me if I wanted that level of customer service I need to download and use other, unrelated apps. I stand by my original review and wish Apple would take them off the App Store and totally reimburse every player who has made any purchase in this game. Nobody should play this game, not even on a free-to-play manner. Original review: Do not play tap4fun games. The devs exploit players wanting to have fun, making it impossible to be competitive unless you pay a ton of money or play for several years. Recently, a bug was exploited that a few players discovered and took advantage of, making them significantly stronger than everybody else. Rather than giving back the game resources, troops, and other items used to recover from this, the developers sent some players a meaningless reward that only helped recover very little assets. The developers punish players when the developers create ingame mistakes, but also punish players when they allow other players to exploit their (developers) mistakes. No recourse or punishment was made against the players that cheated, they were allowed to receive rewards and continue to play as if nothing had happened.

Customer service is useless. Let’s start with the basic form… there is no simple way to submit a report. You have to trick it into finally providing “submit a report”. Someone thought it would be great to only be able to provide screen shots when you are asking the bots random questions but not when you are submitting a form?!?? The forms are horizontal so if you play on cellphone which fun facts it’s a mobile game you CANNOT see what you are writing to correct edit… you have to wait for customer service to ask you maybe for screen shot or not. We are constantly spammed by mail from someone giving themselves the name leader who is not a leader of any alliance to leave the game and go to discord. I have reported this several times but customer service cannot figure this out or cancels requests… for bizarre reasons… I’m guessing they have no interest in improving the fundamentals of customer service so they never have to fix anything and they close out tickets for screenshots I tried to submit but can’t.

To many glitches and bugs and all about money.. This game crashes every 10 minutes normally and every 5 minutes when there has been an update. So many glitches we have all lost count and to succeed in the game you need to spend BIG and I mean 6 figures big otherwise it takes ages to get anywhere. Say the merge servers to balance power yet one is always more powerful it’s the same with Server vs Server events always full of whales so the smaller servers don’t have a chance and just get attacked until their troops are dead( on the current one we just finished a server friend lost 45 MILLION power due to an attack by someone with 130 million+ power and several other players) and bases are burning. Also very unfair to their mods on discord who stand up for the players. #JusticeForPanda 🐼 Do NOT play unless you want to spend lots of money and be bullied then burned by people who you thought were friends. You will end up quitting the game as a result.

Fun Monkey Game. I played this game from seeing the ads online and was at first dissapointed since the gameplay wasn’t like the ads. Total waste of time. I was lucky to get into a strong gang early and was able to level up quickly. All that goes down the drain when you have much stronger gangs come from other servers and pillage you to oblivion while you are asleep. Unless you can put a shield on every time you are offline you are a target. One attack can set you back weeks. So frustrating to play with big spenders.

It’s not as advertised but it’s fun. Not as advertised is actually a story game mode where you have to save other monkeys and upgrade your city like you do get to play as the monkey eat the bananas and get big and strong but it’s a lot more than that

I feel lied to 😞. It’s a 4/5 game imo. Graphics are great! Storyline is good and different from other games. However in the end it’s still a basic time management style game. Where I am extremely let down and feel lied to is gameplay is NOTHING at all like the ads portrayed it to be. It’s like ordering the best Ribeye steak on the menu and then they bring you out a burger, granted it’s a really good burger but it’s still just a burger. 😞

Flying gorilla - I mean Age of Apes is amazing!. I thought it was a simple mobile game from the ads, but when I checked this out it was actually high quality, high effort, and fun! SMH…. Well I use to really enjoy this game but I uninstalled it for a few months and reinstalled it today but now I can’t recover my old account! I searched in their customer service how to retrieve it…. And it says contact “human customer service” but there isn’t an option anywhere to do that!!! So, hopefully this review will get them to contact me. If they do then I’ll change my review. But, until that happens I’m very disappointed

As advertised. Honestly I was skeptical before downloading this game. I am happy that I did. I’m four level ups in and so far so good. The game is fun and well designed. I see elements of in app purchases but so far no battlers to playing or a feeling that it’s a pay to win game. I may write another review once I play longer. For now I would recommend the game. First my manager fired me and I got employed by another company as co-ceo, then my divorced wife came back after 5 years of being apart. It’s nice knowing that this game helped me and my family. Middle finger to this game. Middle finger to this game, as staff, label, and a dirty crew, is a disaster. Initially, it was acceptable, but then some overpowering player, about 100,000 times stronger, annihilated my troops. Why was I even in his line of sight? This trash game deviates from the approach of games like Clash of Clans, where they pair you up with people on your level. Instead, this game is a free-for-all, and to make matters worse, the controls stop working. What the heck, you lousy game? Delete my account. I wish this game burns to the ground!

1 gang dominates and ruins game. Same issue with all of these other play to win style games where one older, wealthier, and larger gang will never let you grow. The 1 gang is full or you are too weak to join. You try to grow but are constantly farmed as the are bored with nothing else to do. The 2 largest gangs joined to my one large and now control the my whole server. The game is no longer fun even though my gang is the 4th largest gang. We are farmed every week to the point the server is dying. Save time and money by not starting this game

This game is filled with awesome cutscenes, voice acting and awesome animations. This game slaps. I don’t think I’ve ever really enjoyed a mobile game like this. If you’re thinking about downloading, PLEASE DO. It’s worth your while.

Horrible match making. During a war event they paired us against clans that have been playing way longer. Those clans clans have access to stronger troops, stronger fighters and stronger buildings. We don’t even have access to any of that. We get constantly attacked and run out of resources and speedups that the devs want you to spend money on. I gave it 2 stars because I have enjoyed it up till now. It was fairly evenly matched before the merger. So take warning!

1 star for false advertising!. The game is cool but all the game play they show on the ad pop ups that entice you to wanna download the game is not what you will be doing! So just all the other games that do the same thing this gets a 1 star rating and will be deleted from my phone. Waste of space! I hate companies like this that false advertise the game play!! Anyone creating a game, show what the game actually is and what you’ll be doing and hope for the best that people like it and don’t do what this and most others do and that’s misleading and false advertising the game play!

Very good game!. I downloaded this thinking it whould be one of those crappy games But no it was actully fun and the fact real effor went into to this like most mobile games is makeing tho I have a suggestion add a feature to play with friends like maybe reset data and it should be like normal gameplay but with people doing multiple things at once Overall it very good!

Robbery. This game had a bug that accidentally gave double rewards to a lot players. And now the developers locked those players accounts until they “payback” the extra rewards they received on accident with actual money. Something that was the developers fault not the players. Ya’ll just ruined most of my team with your corrupt business practice. Keep in mind that these “rewards” cost the company absolutely nothing, its rewards you typically get from casually playing the game. Horrible customer service.

They do not care. The game is full is full of bugs. They add events and features and lots of content to purchase nonstop but the game remains unstable and crashes plenty. So be orepared to lose progress a lot. I made a purchase did not get all the rewards and after 48 hours and being looped into the same line of logic i realized this game is too buggy and they do not care about helping people. Don't buy the game don't give them your money there is no quality control and they will never let you have your money back even when they screw up.

Pretty Good Game. I’m not gonna lie, they got me with the false advertisement because the game is nothing at all like how I seen it on Instagram lol. Buh I played it anyways and so far I’m not disappointed. It really has a great story mode and is very interesting fr. It’s been a minute since I’ve actually liked a mobile game this much💯

Not a bad time killer. I play this mainly just to kill time. So far it has been pretty fun. I haven’t gotten into it too deep yet though. There’s a lot of pay to play; but you can also just grind away at it, to reach your desired level. That’s just my food for thought. Lol

What happed to the tribe mechanic?. This is a great game with a very cool concept, but there used to be tribes that you could choose to be in when I first played and now they are gone so I wonder what happens to that and when will you re add that? Other than that I love this game!

Good Game but…. This game is absolutely amazing, but the one problem is that this game has too many bugs. Literally after any update there are 2x as much bugs as before that just ruin the game. Some of the bugs even crash the game, mainly because I’m clicking too fast on something like exiting off something and going to another thing.

Gameplay is boring. In the beginning of the game i love the fact that you can fight other monkeys and take away their bananas so you can get bigger to win the level. Once you unlock all the space in your fortress that play option goes away which i don’t like. I’m about to delete this whole game because the reason why i downloaded it was to play it the way they advertised it in the ads.

Wow. This game is the best game but at the start it is a little slow but then when to get in the later game it is 100x better but the only downside to being higher level is higher use of resources and you start running out

Missing fighter medals. I purchased a daily pack that was supposed to include Maximus medals so I could summon him, however the medals did not come through. I only need 2 more medals to get him and it is getting very frustrating how no matter how many deluxe banquets I hold, all I get are medals of fighters I already have (Scott, Francis are the most frequent ones). I understand this is somewhat pay to play if you want to advance and get stronger, but it’s ridiculous that when I do pay, I don’t get what I paid for. Please provide assistance. Thank you

Not to bad…. The game as whole is great. Cutscenes are fun to listen too. No ads which is great because after awhile you lose interest. The fighters are easier to upgrade than most games. Upgraded the buildings are good on time wait. I’ll be full support

Awesome game. fun and entertaining. pretty cool game just needs a little more hero’s and heresy a fun idea you should addd chaser from planet of the apes as an event, if that happens i would be playing for weeks, months, heck even a year keep up the good work and let me know if you need anymore ideas

Appreciation so far. For the moment this game is 4/4 for me it’s fun and the character are all special to my eyes of course I just started but I like the fact it requires thought capacity to surpass some problems I like it I’ll change my review throughout the gameplay.

Garbage. I’ve been playing this game since the beginning there’s so many glitches it’s pathetic events will disappear. The game software will glitch all the time. The game crashes every 20 minutes 30 hours of hard work in one event and it disappears eight hours before the event ends no rewards no compensation, they’re just out to get money from you . Still crashing every 10 minutes of play time ….

False advertising. An ad I saw on a video shows a gameplay, and when I got the game is was different, even if that gameplay would be in The game later on, it is false to advertise something the customers don’t get. Regardless if the ad is only part of the game, the ad should display a general sense of the game not a whole diff play when actually get the game, or atleast show multiple diff levels in the ad. Showing a GENERAL OVERALL play through, not one specific level.

False Advertisement Bait - Rip Off. I initially downloaded this game from an ad that I saw about two apes with boxing gloves on. That isn’t real, it never happens in game! I played this game for a year and a half. I ended up spending at least $500 in this game, likely over $1000 & it was not worth it. I deleted the game once I finally released I was somewhat scammed, all their ads are not based on actual game play. Don’t waste your money downloading this game, it’s impossible to grow without spending large amounts of money. Get a different game.

Language barriers needs to be fixed. In the game there is a chat room option. In the chat room I was talking about Pokémon go raids. Apparently the word “raid” is considered a bad word and I got reported and banned for “explicit words” when in reality I never used any bad word towards anyone. Come to find out in the challenges under impasse trails on the top right corner it says the same exact word I’m using that you guys are saying is bad and are penalizing me for. This is ridiculous.

Really fun but graphics need some work. So the game is really good I love but I have one problem when you march troops or rally their character models aren’t exactly 2022 graphics so can improve them just a bit other wise I don’t have a problem

game is pretty good ngl. its actually a fun game now i rlly dont like reading stuff but they actually talk instead of you reading it plus the storyline is really easy to understand and a really fun game and I literally just started playing so thank you to the creators for making this game ❤️

Disappointing, greedy. This game was fun, but shortly after their release of ape coins it turned horrible. The devs made a error on there part of pricing for us, so instead of having a backbone and acting like a adult and saying we screwed up and we apologize, they want us to pay it back and at full price. Meanwhile we already paid a price for these coins, they took our coins we had without notice, and they don’t want to communicate with us I messaged them everywhere but I’m sure I’ll get a comment after this goes thru of just a automatic premade message.

Annoying feature. Even if you turn off the sound it won’t let you listen to iTunes when you open up the game at a normal volume. It turns it down without your permission it’s really annoying. If you like listening to music while you game I would recommend getting into another game.

Amazing game. i dont know what everyone else is thinking, this game has many mechanics and the only annoying thing is that you cant change the game you play but i can live with that Also multiple mini games, gotta love those

Don’t make it a pay to play or win it’s taking too long already to be able to build to play!. Change this game so we can get the coins we need to be able to buy more builders add more stuff to do and give more time for the game mode so the monkey can get way bigger!

I like it but. I like the game for many reason but it has 2 major issues 1) so many bugs on iPhone 11 up to dat iOS. The screen gets frozen and blurry and need to kill the app 2) missions like upgrades of buildings takes forever and isn’t really clear what you should be doing to grow. So many things on the game that it is easy to get lost. No clear instructions to what to do. Other than that it is a good game

The advertising lied. I downloaded this game due to an ad I saw during one of my other games. I finished up to chapter 10 and not once was I collecting bananas to become a bigger ape. False advertising and there is way too much dialog… doesn’t let you figure things out for yourself… if you can read you can beat this game. Download it for your kids and even they will get bored with it and you’ll end up deleting it… which is exactly what I’m doing right now…LAME!

Good game. Honestly, when I saw the ads of this game at first I figure it was boring til I downloaded it and wow it addicting to play, I absolutely love it and you actually need strategy and actually think but overall it really fun and I love the challenges , but yeah this is my review of “Age of Apes”

COC but better. I really enjoy this so far. I haven’t seen one ad. The gameplay is slightly repetitive, which is no issue because it is enjoyable. The chapters are short and sweet, and the story is interesting. The character designs are good, as well as the animation. There was effort put into the voice acting. And each “fight” is basically a cool puzzle. Well done, devs.

Awesome for a mobile game. It is a awesome mobile game I expected it to be like badly made and really restricting on what you can do, I like how you can do whatever you want. There is one Think that they can improve on The beginning is kind of restricting all you can do but it is the intro just don’t make the intro so long just a little shorter. Otherwise a really fun game!🫠🙃😉
