Lovely game, weird ads. I really love this game for many of the reasons others reviewers have already stated. It’s great and the holiday penguins and creatures are incredibly cute. I don’t mind watching the ads needed to continue playing, however some ads truly interrupt my gaming experience. When my phone is on silent, some of the ads interrupt what I’m listening to on another app. This is very annoying as I have to find the hidden mute button in the ad, switch back to my other app to click play, and then switch back again. Or, worse yet, the ad cannot be muted. More importantly, some of the other ads are for games that are violent in nature (sniper, murder, etc) and the calm, relaxing sense this game provides is gone. I can normally set my phone down during these, but when the ad plays involuntary sound, it’s really quite a headache. I’m glad the gross foot game ad is gone (see others’ reviews). It would be really nice to see ads more in line with what these penguins provide to replace the violent ones. Thanks!

I love this game, but it’s missing a few elements.. This game is adorable and fun, but if it had a few more features, it would be even better. A lot of games like this will have a friend feature where you can send each other a gift once a day, or visit each other’s habitats and collect some extra coin... just a way to interact with friends to make it more dynamic. or something to that effect. Another thing that I don’t enjoy about the game, is that you can only have a few decorations on your island at a time.... why can I make soooo many if I can’t display them? There isn’t even an option to upgrade for the amount of decoration space. Another feature that would be cool is the ability to breed penguins, and try to get specialty penguins from breeding. Or even just baby penguins. I know that would definitely be playing a lot more, and for a longer period of time. (And yes, I have already purchased the baby penguin package, but 5 little babies may not be enough 😂) Those things aside, the game is really adorable, and such a great idea. I know there are a lot of similar games out there, but this is the only one that caught my attention because I’m a penguin lover. I hope to see more features or ways to play the game soon. Until then I will still enjoy it for what it is! Very cute!

I love this game. Over the past two months, my girlfriend and I have had a little competition to see who can finish the game first. I was winning until we got to aj currency and now she is destroying me. Her and I have spent 0 dollars on the game but we do try to watch as many ads as possible to support the devs! So for the people that say you can’t advance unless you pay, that just isn’t true. The only thing we don’t like about the game/don’t understand is when you’re using the hearts to evolve your habitat, the percentage doesn’t go up past 500%, sometimes it’ll say 1,000% but will go back down to 500% for the next upgrade even though it still costs more hearts. We just wonder if we’ve maxed this out or if it keeps stacking. Overall we love this game and we hope everyone who plays it loves it too. I would love to play/test future games y’all put out!

Great Game. But please change this:. This game is the most enjoyable and chilled game I know of. (Pun intended.) I have played this game from almost when it came out, and I have every place except for log flume. When the crafting feature got added to the game, a whole world of possibilities for island development and personalisation opened up. I am constantly crafting items, and I have a ton. But my big problem is, the maximum decoration capacity is 30, which means you can barely put any decorations at a time! I have so many decorations, yet I can only enjoy a very small amount of them at a time! Therefore, I think your game would be greatly improved if you expanded the decoration capacity to an amount that makes more sense, like 50-60 for instance. I understand the reason for the 30 is so the average small isle will not be covered with decorations to the point where you can not see anything else, so my idea to solve that is that whenever you buy a new place your maximum decoration capacity increases by a few slots, so as you expand you are able to display more decorations. I truly think this change would be amazingly popular if implemented into the game. Thank you so much for reading, A huge Penguin Isle fan

Bias. This is pretty biased because I like games that take time to play. I feel like that’s the point, to lower stress and anxiety. It’s not something that will take a week to do. No, it’ll take more than that. I like that, and I like that you need effort to play the game. Don’t play this if you expect it to be done within a day or a week. Don’t play this if you expect to get currency quickly. This game is meant to take time. Sure, it’s a little difficult to get money but that’s because you need to understand how to distribute it properly between the different habitats. Once you understand that, the game actually goes a little quicker. For the people who truly want to spend time on a game that’s slow paced and very gentle, I recommend this. It’s so relaxing and it calms me down a lot. I’m a very anxious and nervous person myself, so I like slow paced games. It takes a little bit to understand how the currency works and how to level up things properly, but once you understand it, it gets better. The only thing I can say is how much the habitats cost. You start at a low currency and once you unlock a new habitat, you need to reach an extremely high goal to get there. I think that they should be a little lower instead of being extremely high right off the bat. I know the point is to work for it, but for the people who like to play at their own pace, that might be a little soul crushing for them. That’s all. Happy New Years!

An Essential Idle Game. Definitely not the first one to start a review off by saying this, but I seriously don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to write a review for a mobile game before. I don’t think a mobile game—let alone an idle game—has ever impacted me in such a way to get me to write about it. Well, never say never because that’s exactly what Penguin Isle has done! I don’t hesitate to call this top-tier game development. They’ve taken the best parts of idle games, removed all the icky stuff, and created a phenomenal experience that only resonates the game developers’ passion and care. The animation and soundscape are beautiful and relaxing. The gameplay is surprisingly entertaining, and game progress is perfectly paced. It’s also extensively thorough and detailed. The gameplay is rather simple in concept, and because of that, I think the developers were really able to hone down on that simplicity and include a lot of splendid and creative detail to an idle game that could have potentially been fatally boring. Every detail is included only to enhance and never take away. In a lot of ways, this game reminds me of “Egg Inc.” (another impeccably-made idle game), but I believe that “Penguin Isle” reigns superior. I have yet to find an aspect of the game that I dislike. I’ve been playing for about two weeks, and I’m not sure I’ve ever stuck to an idle game for so long; hopefully, my playing doesn’t end soon! Keep it up, HABBY, and thanks for the great game!

It’s really fun and relaxing. It very fun and relaxing to play, it looks amazing BUT I feel like there could be much more to make it better. I was doing the little missions and I didn’t like that they had no information to go off of. Most were straight forward but I wasn’t sure what to do when it said “pick up 1 item”. Maybe it’s obvious but I didn't and still don’t know what to do. I think it would be a lot more fun if you could also buy maybe little accessories to place wherever you want that are not related to the fisherman and gardener. I don’t see any actual problems with the game at all, and it is very relaxing and a very cute game to play but I feel like there could be much more to it. The little penguins that walk around don’t really do much but profit and it would have been cute if they did more then wobble around NOT that they aren’t adorable already. They’re great. The game is great. But it’s a little boring while waiting to save up to unlock things so it would be nice to have little in between challenges or something that I could complete while waiting and leveling up. With maybe more information or directions on what I need to be doing a little more specific. Other then that I would definitely recommend, it’s a great game.

Graphics need alot of love!. I love this game. If you absolutely love penguins and maybe are needing something to calm you a bit everyday, this is a great game to play. The habitats are adorable, as are all the penguins. The ads are quite regular, yet certainly tolerable, and i love decorating my island with my own little additions, and being able to visit other people’s islands. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with penguins so we lay in bed and compare for hours. My only problem is yarn and graphics. Because of the cute outfits you can get all other materials easier and faster than yarn. The game makers want you to play for a year to be able to craft ONE outfit. This makes no sense to me. After a few weeks, most people will stop playing. Especially if you don’t have all your outfits available to outright purchase. The graphics could use some work. As my penguins multiply (the most ensured way to make bank the fastest) they are walking through eachother, the other animals on the island, and the additions you craft that do not directly come with the habitats that are built. This game has been out for a few years now. You think they would have corrected this problem by now, but as my population grows, it just becomes more frequent and noticeable. If the point is to make your island the most unique and filled with different penguins and animals, maybe make it look like they notice eachother at least enough to not walk through eachother.

Best Penguin Game Ever. I am a lifelong lover of penguins, and this game has it all: solid depictions of multiple penguin species, accurate penguin facts, landscaping, carnival rides, and penguins that use power tools. The balance of information and whimsey is perfect. The structure of the game keeps the game interesting as the optimum strategies shift as you progress through the levels, whether you focus on coins or hearts or items. It starts off quick, but by the time the new habitat/penguin acquisition starts taking longer, there's a lot to see and do, so it never seems like a grind. The penguins have so many cute behaviors! My favorites are the ATM, slides, and the Octopus Ride. The ads can get a little repetitive, but the fact that you earn gems for watching ads on top of getting whatever thing you were watching the ad for makes them a bit less irritating. I also appreciate that the in-app purchases are truly not required; they'll make things faster, but with patience you can enjoy a legitimately free to play game.

Amazing! But always room for improvement.. I absolutely love this game! I play it all the time and recommend it to everyone I know. I’m always playing “the penguin game”. The graphics are amazing and the creativity that goes into it is astounding. Now, I understand that it’s not exactly like most clicker games where you tap and earn more revenue, and I don’t think that it needs to become like that. However, I feel like something that is making less people keep playing, is the lack of involvement in the game. You kind of just go ahead and spend your coins on updating a pet of the island, sign off, repeat. I feel like if there was something like mini games that you could earn maybe coins, diamonds, or a wheel that has options. People who I have recommended it to say that it does get kind of boring once you keep playing. I will keep playing the game because I personally am fine with it being like that. I like chasing around the penguins and tapping hearts. I think that if you wanted to open up to a larger group of people, maybe think about options on how to get the player more involved.

A few complaints and issues (but I wish I could rate a TEN 🐧)!. Edit 29 August 2021: is “Cafe de Manchot” supposed to do something? I’ve watched it forever and nothing ever happens with it. 1. I get nothing done in my life anymore for fear that the penguins with dangerous items might jump on a trampoline. For example, I once caught a miner penguin carelessly flopping about on one. 2. Since the new Valentine update (❤️❤️❤️❤️!! Btw), I’ve only ever seen a baby penguin in the lovers tub with another adult penguin. WHAT THE?!? Ok, too be fair, neither of these are of a negative intent. This durn game brings only joy. Joy I say!! From the anti-vaxxers (****SPOILER ALERT ***) at the hospital to the latest proposal penguin, I giggle constantly. Incidentally, it’s not unnoticed that between the time the octopus ride and log ride came out, y’all stepped up your pen-GAME! Seriously, I had to do a double take on that log ride operator. 🤣😂🤣 I could go on and on, but I’d rather you get to creating the next bit of joy. (Side note: why can’t my penguin with the shovel pick up those too cute mushrooms on Olympos tower?) PS as a HUGE “Surfs Up” fan, can we PLEASE PLEASE get some rockhopper penguins? And in the theme of flightless (or nearly flightless) birds, a chicken? EDIT 26August2021: YAS! Thank you for the surfing penguin!

Some suggestions. First off, I LOVE this app! I love the penguins and despite the complaints, I also love the polar bears, seals and all of the other animals. I only have a few wishes that would make the experience even better! Id love to see the seals and other animals be able to swim or use the amusement park because it would be quite adorable. Another thing, the hot air balloon penguin should be able to take other penguins on his trip! I assume these things are sort of like a mechanism so adding penguins could mess with it, but those additions would be adorable. Lastly, I don’t like the quests that require you to collect over 400+ hearts just to get 1 lightning bolt. That requires me to stay on the app for a long period of time if I’d like any advancement. It’s an idle game, so I like to leave it on it’s own for a while.

Beware! Lost months of progress/purchases. I’ve been playing this game for about six months. I didn’t spend too much money but occasionally I would buyA perk or two. I had made it all the way to the end of the game I had unlock every penguin habitat.I had constructed materials in the workshop and created hundreds of items. I even completed the workshop quest. But then I turn my game on last week . All of my progress was reset back to before the workshop opened including all of my habitats that I had upgraded my heart production the Penguins I had purchased in any real endgame purchase I had spent real money on was gone. I contacted the support team and they responded with we don’t understand what’s going on. I sent them screenshots and proof that their game had malfunctioned. They have not responded. if you play this game I recommend that you uninstall it immediately so that you won’t be disappointed when you lose everything. If you have not downloaded this game I am recommend that you never do and find something else to waste your time with. As long as game developers are protected by Apple and refused to respect the time and energy put in by the players, we will continue to have horrible companies managing our gaming industry like this one. By the way this game is not really a game it’s really a scam to get you to watch ads that’s all it is because you cannot play this game without watching thousands of ads.

ASMR in a clicker game. This clicker game is the most soothing one I’ve played. The music and art is absolutely beautiful, and I love to zoom in on the details or hear the penguins squawk when they give me love; sometimes I keep this app open on my desk for a dose of serotonin. I also really appreciate that this clicker is slow and steady from the start, unlike some others that are clearly designed to give you a rush from leveling up very quickly in the beginning, and giving a big visual boost with ads. Instead, Penguin Isle has several forms of currency and upgrades, which make the game seem cumbersome at first glance, but gives you lots of smaller goals to work towards over time. I actually find myself willing to watch ads occasionally because they aren’t shoved in your face, and the game is so aesthetically pleasing that I want to support it. I do it for my penguins too; they deserve the grandest tuxtown around the iceberg. If there were one thing I’d change, it’s the badge icons in the top right. The bright red is a stark contrast from the rest of the color palette, and sometimes I find it jarring in an otherwise serene game. But at this point, I’m just nitpicking. I’m also a fan of Archero and Slidey Block, so hats off to Habby! Yet another great game by a great developer. You have a customer for life.

Amazing for stress. This game is so calm, there is always new events and stuff you can do. There is many ways to get more in-game money. The in-game money is used to buy new cute little penguins and if you look at them up close they look amazing and so cute. There is little mini games to do and you can get your own penguin you can control. Plus, you can name it can dress it up how you want! Also, you get new islands and each island has its own working penguin, and other penguins can go to the new islands and relax, by a fire, in a pool, going up a mountain, looking at sculptures, etc! It’s so amazing and i have spent a lot of time on it, i feel you should too. Also there is some other things i would like to say about the game- i love the details and how it’s so soothing to the eye. It feels so calm when you enter the game, after a long day of work. And the music in the back is amazing and i love it. Also, there is other animals you can get other than penguins, like other icy creatures such as Arctic foxes. There is so many little things you can build to put on your islands. Like from little couches, to big clock towers. Ads don’t just pop-up randomly, you can watch ads if you’d like to get more coins. I really recommend this game, i love it!!

Excessive ads. This game is great. The cute penguins, the calming music, I love it all. However, where it suffers is from the excessive number of ads. Obtaining rewards require watching ads or buying “ad tickets” with real money to skip them. To be clear, I have no problem with some ads. After all, developers need some way of making money for providing such a great free game. Many games with this system allow users to pay a one time or recurring amount of money to get rid of them. Of all the games I’ve played, Penguin Isle has the most ridiculous price for this privilege - $30 PER MONTH to get unlimited ad tickets and effectively play ad free. That’s, in my opinion, an egregious price and the reason I’m not rating this game higher. A one time payment of $30, maybe I could understand although that would still be steep. $30 per month for an idle game?! Considering the number of other avenues for revenue, like the adorable penguin costumes, decorations, and event passes (which also all cost money or gems that can be purchased with money), you’d think the developers would be able to provide a cheaper price for playing the game in peace. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and honestly comes off as very greedy.

Oh My God. Before I start this I will say that I have not fully completed the game…I may find some issues or problems in the future. So, penguins are my favorite animal so you better believe when I saw this game I downloaded it IMMEDIATELY, on top of that I was ecstatic to find this game takes time to play, you won’t finish it in a week. Although, Once you figure out how to distribute your money between habitats the game does start to get quicker. My one and only (half) complaint is how much stuff is locked behind a paywall. Luckily I come from a rich family so if I ever did want something I could just do some household chores to get money. However some people don’t have that luxury, maybe make it so that you can buy more stuff with gems or something. I wouldn’t let that discourage you though. If you’re reading this, download the game, this is genuinely the best mobile game I’ve ever played. Hope this review helps! 🤗 -A very cool guy

Nice relaxing time with cutie penguins, but BUGS are ruining everything!. I have been playing this game on-and-off for more than 2.5 years since the time they just launched. The whole experience are great. I love how they arrange the different mini tasks in an apposite time for you to finish yet not being too overwhelmed. However, after adding the crafting function, I found that the finishing time is a big bug which could take away your gems very often. Many times I saw the complete sign of a craft yet when I clicked into that it showed up ten hours, or few days left to complete the task (for a 30 mins tree building). There was one time I didn’t aware of it and click the finish button and 2920 gems were away. This bug happens multiple times a day and the team never responded or returned the gems which get me very annoyed…

Love it!. I don’t even know where to start with this review. Being shut in due to COVID, I’ve been trying to find more apps to play to keep me occupied. Usually, I’m not one who enjoys playing games like these where you have to slowly take your time to build up something like a town or world however, this game reeled me in immediately. The art style and overall aesthetic is what initially caught my eye. It’s is absolutely beautiful! The graphics are stunning; honestly the best I’ve seen on a phone app thus far! Quality is crystal clear as well. The music is very relaxing as well as the ambient sounds which is what I admire about this app so much. I also love that while there are videos you can watch to get coins, the app itself isn’t plagued with pop-up ads that would ruin the immersion. Same with purchases. While there is the option to buy additional currency, it isn’t being pushed in my face every time I login or touch something.

Too many ads/too expensive. Let me start by saying this game is great. It’s calming, relaxing, I don’t feel like I have to rush anything. The graphics are cute, the music is pretty and chill. The spike in how much everything costs (I’m only at the W of money) is a bit but to be honest it’s not even that bad (yet?). It’s more of an idle game where you make money and take advantage of selling and ships and boxes that float in the sea. And that’s where my issue comes in. The ads. The number of ads in this game is a bit. They’re usually only 30sec and give good rewards so I’ve been fine. But on god there are so many. Which would be fine if it didn’t cost $30/mo to have no ads. That’s more than I pay for a AAA title subscription game. It’s honestly ridiculous. Most other p2w games have a one time purchase of the game for no ads. I literally need a subscription more than Netflix to play without ads. Again. Great game. I’m giving it 4 stars here. But I have to take one away for spending more time on ads then on the game combined with how expensive it is to remove them.

Great Game, but One Major Problem..... This beautifully designed, slow paced game is great when you just want to mindlessly enjoy something and relax. You don't have to spend any real money to play. Most importantly, ads will never randomly pop up in the middle of the game with no reward. You have the option to watch ads to unlock new items and earn heaps of money/gems/hearts that would otherwise take hours on your own. You can go without ads, but the game goes by much slower. I've had it for only 3 days, and everything has been perfect up until now. I appreciate only showing ads when you want bonuses in the game, but now, ads won't load! I've looked into solutions but it seems like every user has this issue right now. Please update the app and fix this bug :( I'm becoming less interested in playing since my progress is very slow without the loads of currency I was gaining from ads.

Overcharged: Updated. I happen to love this app but I purchased two packs in this app and I was over charged. And I’m quite unhappy. Also for some reason the app keeps closing me out. I would like to speak to someone about the over pricing of the items if possible because I would it if it was refunded to me but I do want to keep the packs just the amount that I was over charged is what I want back please and thank you. Update: Thank you so much for getting back to me so soon. I want to apologize because I didn’t get a receipt from you guys like I usually do I didn’t get to see the full purchase so when I saw the price I got in my bank account I panicked and today I checked my bank account and it updated and showed a receipt for apple and it showed not only the purchases I made with you but with another app too which is why the purchase was so high. I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding on my end. I’ve always loved this game as I said in my previous message. It still crashes on me wish is sad but I’ll still try to play it.

Disappointed over time. While playing the game for a few hours I became addicted. Overtime I became more and more disappointed. You are forced to watch ads to gain certain “prizes” within the game whether that be coins or energy for tiers. I feel as if I am watching an ad every 2 seconds making it more annoying and stressful to play the game. As you progress in the game there is less to do. Things in the game become more expensive making it harder to play, making you watch more ads to get more coins and the game taking longer to progress. There is only one quest at a time. I wish there were more quests. Since you don’t see your next quest until you finish one I hope in the future for there to be more than one quest viewable allowing the player to multitask to earn more energy. I also hope for there to be less ads. Maybe another way to earn coins instead of watching a 30 second video all the time. Overall I think this game is great. It is very relaxing and it’s a wonderful structured idle game.

It was good... for awhile. I had fun with the game! It’s super relaxing and laid back, it’s nice to see all the penguins. I’m pretty far into it right now but I have hit a complete wall. I play idle games so that I can see progress made in at least a week with me checking in once or twice... it’s been three at this point and I’m slowly shuffling through the numbers. I’ve made it to ‘am’ in currency but the next requirement is ‘ar’. How absurd and turning-away. I’ve done plenty of missions but there’s the ones where you have to watch adds and open chests, cool, I understand. Though, once again I open the game to see progress - not Tap Tap Hero adds. Thus, the title is served justice. It was good... for awhile. I can’t say I’ll be returning to it, but hopefully they can make some updates so that the game can be completed in the time span of a month rather than months.

Great game! Kinda annoying. This game is so much fun. I genuinely enjoy it a lot. If there where more games like this with different animals I’d be elated! The graphics are incredible, it’s beyond relaxing and I could spend hours just watching my little penguins ambling about. My main concern is that the offline rewards are inaccurate and I’ve been stuck for the past month. I have 330 min (5.5 hours) the max time for it, but it only gives me 1.45K hearts, which doesn’t make sense because the 1 hour hearts token gives me 1.13K. If the offline goes for a time of 5.5 hours it should be giving me 6.21K hearts. Normally I wouldn’t say anything but I’ve been stuck at K and there’s literally no way to upgrade the amount of hearts a penguin gives you without buying more penguins which I can’t do without getting more habitats. Is there anyway to fix that?

SÚPER fun and ADDICTIVE!. I. Have. Been . Playing. For. Months. Now. And. I .can’t. Stop. PLAYING: Ok so it’s not another vErY lAgGy kNocK oFf gAmE it’s actually worth to INSTALL but one low star review said that the game was very laggy and it always crashed and there is way to many adds but the point is ( NONE of those things happen) and I have no ida how those things are happening but not for me! So how I found this app was by a add and when I saw the little penguins together I remembered how much my sister and I LOVES PENGUINS like they look so cuddly and cute! But they can be noisy but it can be fine and when I saw that I was like OoOOO lEmME Go gEt tHaT so I did and an hour later I already had THREE ISLES and by the looks I can tell 5is is a five star app and I was amazed! And there is so many features and prices that are actually GOOD like for example the Valentine’s pass like you get like 4500 diamonds and like so MANY other things!?! Like and it’s only for TEN dollars?!? That’s amazing VERY amazing and I can talk about this app for HOURS by how ADDICTIVE AMAZING AND HOW CUTE THE PENGUINS ARE!!! So I have to cut it short so it’s very fun also cute so go and install it and once you install it it’s like you can’t install it so good luck with that :D

Wasn’t Expecting to Love It!. Long story short, I love this game. I love watching my pure little tuxedo goobs! However, when I first found this game I honestly found it a bit drab. I realized it was because I wasn't spending money though, I have a bit of a money-hoarding habit. Anyway, once I started actually using a lot of my coins at once, it was just so fun! Keep in mind though, this game requires time. If you’re looking for adventure or action, this game isn’t for you. It’s really chill and laid back, and doesn’t challenge you, so don’t get it if you want a big adventure. I just find penguin isle such a nice little getaway, where I can just watch some happy penguinos. Overall, it’s just cute, and I really enjoy it! However, I would like to mention some improvements that would be really cool to see. 1. I would love some more themes! For instance, there’s the sunset background, but I would love to see some more :) 2. Day and night! I think it would be cool to have an event where you can win a theme that changes from day and night. 3. Decorations. I would love decorations, maybe just even some lanterns you could buy and place in certain areas. But it would be especially amazing if there were penguin-interactive items! Just some ideas. Overall, I really love this game, it’s super sweet and cute, and quite fun. Definitely recommend it :)

Great but 2 problems. I love this game soo much. I was in for the 5 minutes and I fell in love. The graphics is soo real. I only faced 2 problems but they were not a huge deal. The first problem are the ads. I get that all games need ads but some of the ads in there are a bit violent ( This is just my personal opinion ). I’m just mentioning this because I worried that if a child was playing this game, then the ads, at the very least, worry their mothers. The second problem is not a huge big deal but I prefer playing games with the screen being horizontal. Unfortunately, this game only allows me to play it vertically. Once again, I’m in love with this game; keep up the good work. I love how you have soo many things that you can do but at the same time there is this amazingly calm music. I’m very satisfied with this game. The penguins as well are very cute. Things are a bit pricey but I feel like that it’s a good thing because you have to work towards it and it’s fun. I’m not trying to be offensive, but if you can improve these 2 things, honestly this is the best app ever that I have played cause it’s calming and competitive.

Lovely game, but hard to reach developers. This app is so calming. It has been one of my favorites and when I downloaded it around October, I didn’t expect to play it multiple times a day. The little penguins are adorable! My only complaint is that it is hard to reach the developers of the app. Recently I had a glitch in my game, and I spent 3000 gems (which took me quite a while to save up) on a new background for the game. It says I own the background but I cant actually use it. And I don’t have any of the gems refunded. It’s kind of a bummer, and I reached out to the developers via Instagram but it’s hard to get in contact with them. I don’t blame them though! It’s a popular app and I’m sure they’re busy designing lovely new penguins. I still highly recommend this game. Peaceful, beautiful animation and artwork, and it’s nice to escape from the world a little to go look at the penguins ❤️

Starts Strong. A fantastic game when you first begin. Can play it f2p. It has packages for whales also like myself. Calming, soothing and plenty to do early on. Unfortunately you sort of hit a wall when you reach AR in gold and max out your penguins. What makes the game appealing is that you can play it anyway you like. Take your time if you want but it also allowed those who like to spend and progress to enjoy the game.. the so called pay to win system. However, it quickly runs out of packages and levelling up once you hit this wall and will take you a long time to level up just one habitat. This wouldn’t be such an issue if there was more to do but there is a serious lack of content once your hit this literal pay wall. Willing to spend but nothing to spend it on is a little frustrating. A game that could have kept me spending and playing for months really only has a week or two in shelf life and that is a real shame. Such promise wasted towards the higher levels shows poor planning and foresight and a lack of attention to those who provide the primary funding for the game to thrive.

Crashes anytime I watch an ad. I really wanted to like this game but as you progress it’s very clear the game can not keep up with the influx of information. It crashes any time I watch an ad, try to build something etc. it’s very annoying and extremely disappointing. How can a game work just fine the first couple weeks and then in less than a month, it’s constantly crashing anytime I open the app and click on something to perform an action. It’s also extremely frustrating to see the response from the game developers saying dumb crap like “restart your device” or “delete and reinstall.” You guys ar game developers and coders, you should know how to fix a glitch like this instead of making excuses that you know will absolutely NOT solve the problem. Stop being lazy and update your game. These individuals (including myself) actually use real money to purchase things from this game, and when the game is constantly crashing after only playing it for a very short amount of time, I’m extremely inclined to ask for my money back on these purchases considering the game developers don’t seem to want to accept responsibility and fix the issue

This game is great. Quite possibly the best “free” phone game I’ve ever played. It treats ads better than any free game I’ve ever seen. While most free games shove ads in your face and make you stop playing the game, this game makes ads completely optional but gives you incentive to watch them. Want some extra coin? Watch an ad. Want to double your earnings from when you were away? Watch an ad. Don’t care about those things? Cool. You don’t have to see the ads. I’ve voluntarily watched so many ads in this game and I use an ad-blocker on my computer. That is how well this game handles ads. I saw one review that said the game is pretty slow and I agree. It is slow. If you want to spend money, it will move along a lot faster. But I really don’t mind the slow pace. Getting on a few times to check on my penguins has been a nice mental break and if it was over really quick, it’d be less enjoyable. Perfect 5/7. Would recommend.

Almost perfect. I’ve never written a review for a game before but I wanted to give this game an amazing review because I think the creators really listened to people’s complaints from other games and incorporated that here. I hated games like FarmVille and HeyDay after a short while because it just took way too long to do anything and you basically HAD to spend money or wait 20 years for anything to happen. This game you really don’t have to spend money for things to happen quickly, and it’s great that it continues collecting while you’re away for a few hours. Also, although it gives you the option to watch ads, they aren’t for nothing - each ad you watch can give you a LOT of rewards so it doesn’t feel as annoying as being bombarded in exchange for nothing. The ONLY THING I would mark down a star for is the decoration capacity limit being set at 30 and not increasing when you add habitats. I’ve googled and a lot of people have been complaining about this, and I would continue to take off stars if they don’t address this in future updates. And, if they increase storage capacity, they should give the option to build another workshop so you don’t have to wait so long for one decoration to be made.

Love it!. I absolutely treasure this game! It’s so fun and cute, The way the penguins waddle and do things is so cute. And I love how you only have to watch a couple ad’s instead of every time you move you have to watch an ad, It’s very refreshing. Don’t expect to be done with the game in a week or two because this game takes at least a couple of months to unlock every single animal,penguin,and habitat. The animation is so great, When you take a photo you can go under the water to get a underneath photo of the animal. Everything about this game is on point and amazing. The developers are so sweet and kind, This game is very relaxing and if you are having a bad day just hop on. This game also saves everything, So you don’t have to worry about starting all over again when you log on the next day. The little habitats are so detailed. Although I wish you could decorate the inside of it but that’s ok. This game is kinda like an ASMR thing because if you wear AirPods the waves and music are super calming. It’s a great game and you should download it, Both fun and calming and you can never get bored of this. It’s definitely not a game where you have to buy things with real money. And that’s really good. Love this game and will never get tired of it :)

Simple, Calming, Adorable App. Ok, so first of all, the art and animation is BEAUTIFUL, and so are all the cute designs of the penguins who work at places. (The penguins are hilarious and oh, so cute!) Second, I love this game because it doesn’t take skill. It doesn’t take knowledge. It doesn’t take anything, really, besides patience. If you are impatient with this game, you may find yourself deleting it right when you get it. But if you’re patient, you find yourself with plenty of new things to discover in just one day of collecting gold and other things. Take me, for example: I got this game earlier this afternoon, and I already have five habitats for my little pets! (My favorite’s the Hot Spring. It’s so funny to watch them swim!) My point is, there’s no one who’s good at this game, no one who’s bad at this game, you just wait for gold, spend it, and watch the penguins waddle to work and play. Overall, it is a cute, simple, relaxing game that brings a little bit of happiness into your day.

So cute!!! 🥺. I love this game!! Oml. I haven’t been playing very long at all but so far I love it too much. I wish I could rate it 6 stars. Whenever I was away from my penguins to eat or do something else, whenever I came back they were happy to see me!! I hadn’t even been gone that long, only two hours if that. This has got to be my favorite game, it’s super cute. Especially when the penguins are running and they fall. I just can’t take it they are to perfect. And I love how I can take pictures and save it into my phone, sure I could screenshot but that’s not as fun. I wouldn’t change a thing about Penguin Isle. Even writing this I’m missing my little buddies. I know that they are having fun, swimming, fishing, eating. I’m also in love with how they wobble/ waddle. They are just so perfect and derpy. Anyways I rate this 10/5 ⭐️

5 stars but a few suggestions. This game is a perfect combo for people who want a well-designed idle app mixed with serene relaxation. The mechanics of the game are what you’d expect from any idle title, but progression never seems to ramp way out of hand like in other games. I’ve spent no money on the game in almost two weeks of play and make regular progress every few days. Naturally, the cooler penguins are locked behind higher tiers to give you something to work for, but I would love to see the addition of chick options as further progress (like emperor chicks, for example). The one complaint I have is the presence of animals on my island that are natural predators to penguins. For example, I obviously want the bonuses provided by getting the polar bear upgrade, but it breaks the immersion to see a polar bear wandering around my island. It simply wouldn’t happen in nature. Devs, as someone who loves penguins as much as they love idle apps, I beseech you to remove or replace the cards that add animals that are natural predators to penguins. It really irks me seeing them so close to my little dudes. Despite this minor gripe, I want to thank the devs for finally giving me a game about penguins that is so classy and well made. This game has waddled into my heart, and I can’t thank the devs enough for that. 🐧❤️

Lovely but buggy. PROS: The game aesthetics are delightful. From the penguins to the soft, somewhat dreamy color palette to the calming music, the overall aesthetic is just perfect. CONS: The game requires you to watch ads in order to collect gold and hearts needed to advance. I don’t mind this sometimes, but it seems to require an inordinate number of ads. (They are optional, but game progress is glacial — pun intended — without them.) However; several weeks ago, the game became extremely buggy. It frequently crashes to a black screen, usually in the middle of an ad. I don’t know if the bugs are related to how many habitats you have or if it is related to an update. It was occasional before I achieved the Amusement Park habitat; now it occurs almost every time I watch an ad. And it has lasted through at least one update, possibly several. At this point, I have nearly given up on the game, because I can’t play for more than a few minutes without it crashing. Also, there seems to be no way to contact Fantome, the game maker, except through a review. When I click “app support,” I expect support.

Good, few suggestions. Fun cute little game to pass the time. The art is fantastic and music is beautiful. Just a nice game to have playing on my desk while i work. However, I do suggest that there be some kind of online mode where you can see other players, help other players, and be able to chat in general and bring in a community. I want to purchase things but I don’t find any point when i can’t show off my little penguin city to anyone else. As a mobile game developer myself, really consider this idea as people would be more inclined to purchase your sales and grind more to be able to show off to their friends and other players around the world. It’ll be worth the effort to add in this feature and you’ll definitely bring in more players since they will knit together. Otherwise, nice game! I’ll keep being a F2P player until then.

Extremely addicting, but still has a few flaws. This is a great game overall. You have unlimited creative freedom, which I find most addicting in games, and the concept is just adorable. I love dressing up my penguin and decorating my isle. However, I can still think of many ways it would be better. For one, I think we should be able to watch an ad to finish the process when your penguin is moving a decoration, instead of using gems. Gems are already tedious to get as it is. Not only that, the gem cost to speed up the process of moving a decoration is ridiculously expensive. I don’t think 400 gems for one little tree is reasonable. And if I can’t afford it, I have to either slowly earn gems the long way, or just stick it out and wait 4 hours for the tree to be done. The only other thing I’d say is how hard it is to get materials to craft something. I think we should be provided tasks on the side to earn specific materials we need.

This game is good. I love this game. It’s so peaceful that I occasionally play it to fall asleep. I have a good time playing and unlike other idle games I have the option to either check in and just collect my coins quick and log off or stay and play for 30+ minutes. I love the look of the game and the penguins are so cute. The natural progression seems steep but is actually gradual and takes every couple days to upgrade which is good. However there is one problem I have with this game... The quests to get the lightning to research better levels can sometimes be confusing. Like for example I’m stuck on a quest now that says “pick 1 item(s)” and I have no clue what item it means. I’ve tried buying everything short of paying actual money but I still have not completed the quest. I just wish they were worded a lot better so I could understand exactly what I need to do. Other than that, this is a great game. Good job 😁

Most amazing idle game I have ever played!. I saw this game on instagram, I was a little skeptical of this at first, considering i had played many other idle games that were rather forgettable and boring. Last night i saw this game on the app store, I decided to try it and play for a little bit. This game is amazing, you arent forced to watch 10+ ads to get one thing quickly, you can choose whether to watch ads to get hearts or work for them, working for them doesnt take long if you have enough penguins either! I love the quest system. Some of the quests are a little confusing like open a chest, but others like take a photo mission, they’re so easy but they all introduce a new mechanic and reward you for taking the time to do it. This game takes everything from other idle games out and introduces new, better things to take their place. I have never taken the time to make a review about anything but this game is amazing! I fell in love with it after 10 minutes of playing and i do not plan on quitting any time soon. Keep up the amazing work!

“Idle” ad watching simulator. You basically can’t progress in this game without paying or watching ads. The idle time in this game is for such a short period of time and you only make a fraction of what you could from watching an ad. The only way you make any real money is from time skips which cost money or from gifts that you have to watch ads to open. It’s a pretty and serene exterior for a game that’s just about the app developers making money. I respect the hustle but at least make it somewhat feasible for someone who doesn’t want to pay for gems or doesn’t want to spend their time playing a game sitting and watching ads. It’s just the obviousness of it that makes me dislike the app so much. It could be fixed by simply letting it actually be an idle game where you can accumulate money while you’re gone rather than having to sit there watching ads for 1/2 an hour just to be able to “earn” the ability to let money accumulate for 1/2 an hour. Don’t worry! If you sit there for another 1/2 hour continuously watching ads you can boost that idle time to 1 hour! I don’t understand how there’s so many 5 star reviews. But maybe i just expect too much from a mobile app. Like it actually being a fun game. I think people are just so used to this being the norm and the formula.

Love it!. Been playing for a long time, so only missed one of the events, but got all of the limited penguins in a throwback sale the following year. Have probably spent more on this game than any gacha and appreciate the ‘non-percentage pulls’ the game has, you just buy or fulfill the prerequisites to get said penguin, no need to roll 100x in hopes they pop up once for you. I’ve run into a couple bugs, like where I purchased the Santa penguin twice (but you can only have one), after having gotten them last year, I was able to purchase again this year, but didn’t get 2 Santa’s flying around. It also takes a bit of processing to run when you have a full roster (I’m on an iPhone X, so may run better on a newer iPhone). Overall, I love this game and collector-type games where you are guaranteed to get every character(penguin), even if it means shelling out a couple bucks for them, but happy to throw some money the developers way and look forward to new penguins and areas when they release (I am currently full up and have all areas unlocked, so look forward to big releases when a brand new area debuts, but more than happy with the new event penguins coming). Thanks for wasting a lot of my time! 😂

Enjoyable until it wasn’t - earning system flawed with penguin caps. Was very much enjoying the peacefulness and slow grind of this game. The game essentially forces you to watch ads to get the most out of the ‘offline’ rewards in order to progress, which I didn’t really mind because you’d get a ton of coins and be able to buy a lot of upgrades. But now, after about a month of playing, I’ve hit a wall and don’t enjoy playing anymore. I just deleted the app. After a huge amount of time put into it, the game eventually stops letting you produce penguins, which drastically cuts your ability to earn upgrades. My max time offline upgrade used to go SO far, now it buys me 2 or 3 upgrades. This cap ruined the game for me, and it make the next level upgrade (Whales Nest) essentially unattainable, even with watching ads. Disappointing end to a game I was thoroughly enjoying.

Penguin Isle. I really enjoyed playing this game and i still do. This game is really stress relieving i love the art style and how calm the game is its just a really well put together game and it looks beautiful. I like the fact that you can get all the different kinds of penguins and that you can level them up and kinda just relax and build up you island. I like how this game takes a while to complete and you aren’t just able to get finished with the game just like that in a week or so. I have only had this game for i think around 2 weeks and it is really fun i told my friends about it and i loved the game too. But one thing i would probably change is the fact that when you buy a new habitat the next one costs an outrageous amount of coins to buy and just a really big jump up there to get to the next habitat. But over all think the game is really fun and enjoyable.

Love!!. This is one of my all time favorite games. It’s so fun and relaxing, and when you play long enough to get to the end it’s nice because there’s almost always an event going on within the game to keep things interesting! I love being able to customize my habitat too :) There are a couple of things I personally would change or add; just me! Nothing to do with how it’s run really, but I think it would be cool if other animals besides penguins could travel to the other habitats as well, and if like the seals could swim, or maybe if there was like a ferry that could carry them to different places? That would be really cool! And then it would be nice if the penguins could go up into the lighthouse I think, because I don’t think they can right now. Also I purchased the mushroom cafe package, I was really excited for it too!! But for some reason the recipe is not showing up in my workshop? I’m sort of hoping the issue fixes itself and the games just being a little glitchy…

One MAJOR issue. so this is such a peaceful game, it’s truly a free to play. You have to watch ads to get certain things but I’ve been playing for a month and haven’t spent a single dollar and feel like I’ve accomplished so much. It’s very relaxing and I love it!! My issue is that you can only make 20 “normal” penguins but there’s a few different types so you can have like 200+ penguins but because you get capped it doesn’t update the “quests” you complete to help with “research” so I need to make like 3 more penguins but can’t until I unlock the new habitat which goes by letters of the alphabet I currently am making “ao” and the next level up is ar which takes FOREVER to get to.... so I’m stuck and it’s very annoying that I cannot move on with quests or research until I get the whales nest.... quests should update every 24 hours or something like you can spend gems to reveres it like the valentine’s event

Best Idle game I’ve ever seen. I’m very new to the game and this game is by far the best idle game ever. Over the years I’ve gotten many Idle games like supermarket tycoon. The games like that are good but this is 10 times better than those games ever could’ve been. This game has all the great little likings that most idle games don’t. This game has been an amazing calming game better than most games I own. This game has great graphics and the penguins are adorable with their little costumes and just in general because that’s penguins nature to be cute. The game has cool setup where you upgrade things, the quests, etc. I do have one possible suggestion for the creators though. I’ve noticed in a past review that the adds were to scary but now that that’s all fixed a new problem looks to have formed. The adds are super kid friendly but the do repeat quite a bit. And that’s just a possible suggestion to the make the game that much better. Like I’ve said repeatedly now this game is an amazing game, by far the best idle game ever and I hope that everyone can enjoy this experience.

Like this a little could be way better. Update: This game is now crashing all the time so it’s getting downgraded from a 2 to a 1. Even though I upgraded to latest version still crashes a lot. I’m torn on this game I really want to love it but there are too many issues. It is slow paced game which is just fine (really really slow if you don’t pay or watch too many ads). However at a certain point it just sorta dies you can’t do to much for various reasons. I don’t like how there is a cap on number of penguins that are displayed it doesn’t seem to take away from production but still it takes away from the esthetics. More importantly it’s detrimental to have a max creation for each species and there are not enough of them. It really hurts your ability to upgrade. It also stalls the game that after you create a new environment the starting point to upgrade in gold and hearts to the next level is so high same goes for gold amount to create more penguins. There are achievements you can do that earn you important gems however they have a cap that you reach about halfway through. The quests are a bit to focus on impossible upgrades and adverts. There should be more environments that also stops gameplay. With some adjustments this could be a really awesome game. Overall disappointed.

It has filled a penguin shaped hole in my heart. This is the cutest clicking app/game I’ve ever played, I’ve had cookie clicker, shopping isle (I think that’s what it’s called) but this is by far my favourite The penguins are so cute, them just holding flowers and watering cans melts my heart, so pure and cute. I even got my friend to download it!! There are occasional bugs, like penguins walking on air and on water, but other than that it’s perfect and I love it to bits! <3

Amazing. I love the game. You don’t have to constantly be on it to play, you can check it any time, really the longer you leave it the more progress (for those not wanting to get addicted and stuck playing 24/7)! Although simple, it’s creative and calm. Only thing I would say to add is being able to name more penguins☺️

Bit Buggy. This game is really good, the only thing that’s been troubling me is that it crashes frequently when playing online. I put it on the lowest setting, which seemed to help with most of the crashing, but it still crashes after a bit - if not, it’s laggy. The thing is, I cannot construct decoration because it will crash whenever I try to go into it. If you could remove this crashing bug/lag, and perhaps make us able to craft decoration offline, then this game would definitely get 5 stars.

Why does it say I have five penguins but I counted and I actually have seven. My arm is getting a bit sore because I have to hold up my iPad but I like the game except I counted the penguins and I counted seven but it says I only have five and it may just be a glitch and I only got the game like about 10 minutes ago or something but anyway I’ve had fun but my fingers are also getting a little sore!?

Nice graphics but too many ads. The graphics are cute but you get to a point where you are just watching ad after ad. Almost like *that’s* the game. The stuff to buy becomes too expensive, so you log in, watch like 20 ads and then you still don’t have enough in-game money to actually do anything. So you can wait to watch *another* ad, or just close the game. If you could pay to remove ads, that’d be nice, but you can’t even do that. You just pay for packs of in-game currency. I found this game boring after one evening, and hugely resented feeling obligated to come back to it. Deleted now.

Calming to play, but heavily reliant on ads to really do anything.. Penguin Isle's fun to play for the two days I've had it so far, and it's nice watching my population grow. My main objection with this game is however that it's heavily reliant on ads to progress, in terms of locking actions behind ads (Gift box and whale summoning), and the quest requirements that also rely on these ad-locked functions. There's also a huge disparity with earning large amounts of resources with these actions, but I'm not one for economics, so I won't go further on this. All in all, great time waster, but just hope you have 30 seconds for every ad you have to go through.

Adorable!. I adore this game, with its soothing atmosphere it’s a great outlet after a bad day and has helped me a lot. You can tell the developers have really thought everything out, the game is really unique with a lot of passion. I have a small suggestion also, a way to help players bond with individual animals on their island could be through dressing up or naming them. Either way, amazing game! Issue with the penguins. First of all I really enjoy this game. It’s fun and a nice way to pass the time. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the penguin numbers. When I have enough money to purchase another penguin, species that are supposedly maxed out are still available to buy more of. Not only this but now whenever I try to get a species back to 20, another species previously at twenty will drop down to 19. This may be a simple glitch in my game since I’m yet to see others affected but thought it might be good to bring attention to it.

Good but one annoying thing. This is a great game, my brother suggested it to me and I am really liking it. However, one thing really irritates me and that is the colour of the hearts that pop up over the penguins. Making it pinkish red would be so much better, as it is easier to see and it seems more like what a heart would be.

Your game is a treasure!. Most mobile games get boring after a couple days for me but your game has kept me playing and I don’t get bored of it! The penguins are cute and I love how you can get animals to walk around. Most mobile games take a while to get pretty far but it doesn’t take like a billion years to get far in this game! Thank you for making this game it is a treasure.

Best idle game every. Honestly this game deserves a lot more reviews than it has. I’ve never seen a game like this that doesn’t force ads down your throat but if you want to have the option to gain a bit of money it ultimately your choice to watch the ads. Don’t get me started off the penguins... they’re sooo adorable, the fishermen and the pilots 😍😍 Altogether I hope you guys keep rolling out updates cause this has the opportunity to be one of the best idle games ever. P.s bug report the offline bonus glitches out and the timer thingy doesn’t appear with my offline rewards

Money. The game is great but common place among idles these days is that 1 isn’t a lot of money and so far your going into numbers that exceed the total amount of money in the world, you see I don’t want ridiculous amounts of money you know I want one amount of in game money to mean something not compared to something going into undecillions which the amount of ridiculous amounts of money you get, you can gain fairly quickly. So I just don’t want to sound demanding but please as a suggestion make one or a hundred or a thousand mean something not going into numbers you can’t even pronounce.

Too many ads. Too many ads in the game, literally an ad watching fest to make you level up and closing the ads are becoming more difficult as they place the X in a corner with such a small hit box that when you press it, you have a 25% chance of actually closing the ad or it takes you another page trying to make you download the advertised game. Money grabbers

A little mental health break with penguins. I absolutely love this game, it’s interesting and enjoyable with cute little penguins. It’s a steady pace that makes for a nice 5 minutes or longer if you wish, the ads are there but you don’t need to do them, maybe one every so often for a boost. It brings a little calm to my day.

I really enjoy it, it does take quite a lot of my battery but it makes up for everything when you play:) The graphics are awesome and it doesn’t lag my device, that’s a common problem I get when playing good quality games. Also the penguins are so cute😍😂😘 Overall I think the game is great but maybe just fewer adds would make it great!

Super detailed. I think this app is super good but one thing that would make it even better would be if when you where saving for something like a new location it would tell you how much more you need. Something else useful would be a money chart i.e. 100c = 1 d because it’s really confusing! Also if you could tap penguins and give them names. Like a little profile on each penguin! Then the app could say things like waddles the emperor penguin needs a picture taken. Overall it’s a really great app!

Lots of details. The animations are really good. I noticed the penguins interact with the money makers and sometimes trip over a rock. There is so much details I take time to stop and actually look at what they’re doing. The only part of the game I have a disagreement with is the creatures: polar bears live at the North Pole and penguins live in Antarctica, but for some reason still in the same island in this game. This is a very small problem; if games were just facts it wouldn’t be fun.

I LOVE THIS GAME. I too found this game on an add, at first I was like “okay” As I played I noticed all the detail that went in to the game and I fell in love with the cute penguins 🐧❤️ I love the music, all the different things that you +penguins can do,I love how they want to take photos and the 3D factor So if you are reading this I recommend you give this game a try. Something cool that I think you should add is that, When you like hatch a penguin or get like an animal you could name them! So you can look around and be like (Example) oh look Gerald just eat a fish, honey is swimming in the sauna, soo yeah please take this into consideration as I think it will be really cute. One question that I have, How do you get the other animals? I saw on the add that there were other animals and not just penguins, in the game I can see them but I don’t know how to get them! Takes up too much battery and phone gets hot.. This game is really awesome. I found it through an ad on Instagram. Normally I totally ignore ads. I get super annoyed with them and just keep scrolling past them. This game however I decided to actually try and I can say it has definitely got me hooked. It’s super relaxing with all the music, satisfying and addicting. I really love the whole Antarctic theme. However, it’s got performance issues. I’m using an IPhone X and my phone gets so hot even on the lowest settings that I have to stop playing the game and come back later on until my phone cools down. It’s kinda concerning and annoying. This game also takes up way too much battery. Please fix this! Other than that it’s a great game 5/5 stars.

Fun game but... I love this game. However I’ve lost interest as it’s becoming extremely difficult to upgrade the island and even just to get new penguins. After the money system passes ‘z’ it just gets too difficult and it’s no longer fun. Almost feels like a chore :(

Fun but confusing. This game is extremely fun and I highly recommend it. When you enter it doesn’t take very long to actually start earning stuff but gets harder and harder as you get further along thus giving you the chance to get used to the game. However, some parts of the game are really confusing and I think they should be a little bit more clear which the instructions because sometimes I have NO IDEA WHAT I’M SUPPOSED TO DO. But beside that problem I highly recommend playing this game

Heavily relies on ads and spoils the experience. I loved this game when I started and it was fun for the first night or two. The graphics and little world is adorable and cute. Super cute little penguin animations and very relaxing. And then after playing for awhile it becomes clear that it’s very hard to progress without paying real money for gems and packs. Your only other option is to watch ads and even then the progress is still slow. I basically spent half my time watching ads - ad to get gems, ad to get coins with the pirate ship, ad to get hearts, ad to get creatures, ad to double my time money haul. I was literally watching 5 ads every time I logged into the game ang then every few minutes again. And SO many ads for those gambling card games with really irresponsible marketing tactics. Really jarring when you’re trying to play a relaxing game and you keep getting awful ads that promote gambling. I’d rather just pay to remove the ads and make the coin progress a little easier for people who don’t want to pay really money in the game to progress.

Where is the update???. I’ve been playing for months now, I’m on the last few isle to build, the more you go on on the game the more quest you have to satisfy but the reward it’s always one (blue energy) and the more quest you do the more updates (increasing hearts, updating gift box...) the more it asks! Wonder when the update is coming....

My Newfound Obsession. I am absolutely in love with these graphics and the whole gameplay. The penguins are honestly the cutest. I am also extremely happy with the treasure ship update however I don’t really know why it was changed from the whale, but either way the animations for both are spectacular. I also really love how every time there’s an event (Christmas, Lunar New Year) you can collect new limited edition penguins to spice up your island. However I just have one question which is definitely not in any way supposed to be a criticism but ever since I got a Christmas limited edition penguin, the one that play Christmas music, whenever I play, my game just keeps playing the Christmas music and I really want it to go back to normal, haha. Is there anyway to do that? I don’t want to remove the penguin either. Ultimately, the game is amazing, and I myself did not find any issues with battery or having the screen heat up. I look forward to new habitats and new penguins to come! - A

Great game but it doesn’t run in the background?. Ok so this is a great game and absolutely adorable but it can run by itself, the problem is that it doesn’t run in the background. You’ll be using all of them gems you painstakingly gathered for the time tokens just so you have enough coins to get a new area and who knows how many ads. Please fix to run on bg.

Great game until the last update. This game has been great fun. Perfect idle game without forcing you to check back every hour. It’s perfect to widdle away time and keep you entertained with cute penguins! Only issues are it absolutely drains your phone battery and since the last update continually crashes. The ads don’t load for you to complete tasks, it will just crash. Some days I can’t even log in to check on the penguins as it just keeps crashing before you can collect anything. It was awesome until I updated it 🤕

Great but some closing problems. when ever I open the gem store menu or something it doesn’t have and “X” button to press so I’m stuck. I have to reopen the app again. If there actually is a way to exit and I just didn’t notice tell me please.

Awesome Game but I have an Idea for it to be better. The game should have a Animation update with more in game Animations E.G: waves you can see and you can see the fish swimming on to the rod. And you can see more penguin Animations when there doing stuff and maybe add fish swimming around, polish it off a little more Animation wise. It’s a little bit more bland there than anywhere else. But otherwise this is an epic game but there is room for Improvement always. Anyways keep up the good Work :)

Sooooo cute. I absolutely love this game it is so relaxing and really helped me with my anxiety, if there was one thing I would add it would be that like every month for a week you could continue an event so if you didn’t complete an event you could. Over all if your reading this and don’t have the game you should give it a go.

It was fun, but now bugged.. I enjoyed playing the game, found it fun to play in my free time. There’s a bug for me when the screen is now just black and white. All the HUD works, buying, upgrading, and taking photos of your penguins still work. It been like for the last few patches, It may not be loading into or rendering, I hope this is useful.

Deserves more reviews. I think this game is a hidden gem on the App Store. Very relaxing and super cute! You can play anytime, and it doesn’t force ads down your throat like other games. Sometimes the ads don’t work for me, but maybe because I play too much. Have been addicted to this since I downloaded it a few weeks ago.

Relaxing....ish. Do love the game, been a great COVID calmer except for the ads. Have ended up turning the sound off because to progress you have to watch ads. I understand that but now every time I go to watch an ad to progress it stops halfway and I have to try and watch another. And another. I’ve rebooted the game, and my iPad, but it still happens. Can this be fixed because it’s my only gripe with the game, all the detail, animations and atmosphere are brilliant.

The Whale.. I’ve had this game for a while, and when the whale was said to leave in January 2020, I freaked out. But, in place of the whale, there is now a treasure ship thing. (!!!) As much as I do love the treasure ship, and the little floppy fish on it, I don’t think it’s ever going to replace the whale. I know there have been some issues regarding it, but I just thought there would just be another one! But a treasure ship shocked me. I’m sorry if this upset anyone on the team thing but I just thought I should mention it. Thanks.

Great app. I’ve had this app for a while and really enjoy watching the penguins and collecting seasonal things. One thing that would be cool to add is more interaction with the penguins. I don’t know what, maybe if you click on a penguin, you could feed them something and they give you hearts in return?

Lovely game but annoying ads. It’s a wonderful adicting game that me and my boyfriend love to play, however the ads either don’t load or they make me watch the entire ad without a reward. I’ve watched an ad 6 times to try and double the money you make when offline however I didn’t get the money ANY TIME. My boyfriend has a very similar issue where the ads never work for doubling the money made offline. Overall though it is a fun game aside from those few bugs.

Penguin heart collection. Every aspect of the game is good, missions are fine. But the penguin heart collection mission is just out of control! It is taking too long and the number of times you have to collect them is just too many! Please put a cap on how many times you have to collect hearts.

!!!BUG REPORT!!!. This game is very enjoyable, however since it can be hard to get coins I rely on waiting a while for my profits to work while I’m away. Sadly, most of the time the ‘you earned ———— while you were away’ never pops up. Overall a really fun game. I just hope that this bug gets fixed so that it is a bit easier.

Mileage update???. First of all this is my favourite app ever, so calming and so adorable, there are so many well thought out little unique features like them jumping in the pool or falling over.. so cute! SO thankful for the update and ability to increase the housing capacity but don’t love that it means we have to take away other decorations(trees), and that those will run out, meaning no housing capacity again for all the cool things you can craft. Mainly I am wondering with the new update what the mileage means and how to get it?

My whole save file is gone. I really love this game and I came back to check on my penguins after this Christmas update but my whole island has reset! My game crashed after I played the penguin arcade game so I opened it again and everything was gone. I really don’t know what to do about this so any help would be appreciated.

Two problems. 1. Everything costs so much money like the plumps penguin package costs 30 dollars! I have to admit it looks pretty funny and cool to have it on your isle. 2.Once you get the helper penguin it always asks for your photo of it right off the bat can you make it so other penguins like a macaroni Penguin gets it photo first ect please could you at least trie to fix this. I love this game but sometimes glitchy. Hello!! Game loop is boring. There is nothing to really “do” in this game. The loop gets old very fast. No mini-games or anything. Just build up enough in game money to get the next upgrade and repeat forever.

It’s so adorable and relaxing. This is one of the best cute, calm, fun, innocent games I’ve played in a long time. I don’t know why everyone is talking about there being a lot of adds, there are hardly any. If you changed it so there aren’t so many, then thank you because I definitely enjoy and appreciate games much more when it’s not filled with adds. I love it, it’s just what I needed :)

Average. The game overall is well designed but i would like more control on interaction with the penguins and the shops. Kind of like in a simcity builder. Everything in the game seems to autorun itself, i don’t really get the point of playing the penguin game if it plays itself anyway, how boring does that sound?

Cute idea but too many ads. It seems impossible to progress in this game without watching a ton of ads. Played it for about 1 hour and realized I spent much of that hour watching ads trying to get enough coins/hearts to progress. The rewards were outrageously disproportionate so it felt like the only way to get anything was to watch more ads.

The best thing about this game is that it can save your achievements in Game Center, my dad delayed it, and when I re downloaded the game, it was just like if it was never delated before. And it gives you welcome back packages. Great game

Couldn’t restore, lost all data. It has been a few years since I last played, and just felt like revisiting this game. So I redownloaded and started the game. It asked that I had a saved data, but when I clicked load data, nothing happened. Tried multiple times, nothing. Closed the game and restarted, checked everywhere in the game, no where does it say I can link account and load saved data manually. For a game that’s been going for this long, I didn’t expect it to not even have this function working properly. Very disappointing.

You playing to watch ads. It’s okay that you can watch ads to somehow improve your gameplay. This gams is ANOTHER LEVEL OF THIS. You literally cannot do anything without watching hundreds of ads and I am not kidding. If you try it you will 100% agree with me. After you open the 3rd habitad oh boi, it all down hill form there. Unless you want to wait 3 days to buy the next one you wont get anything without watching tons of ads. And you know what’s the worse, THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN THIS GAME! Cool little feature to add. If your phone is on dark mode then the sky in penguin isle will turn to a dark theme with crickets in the background and if you have your phone on light mode then the sky will turn light. I was also thinking there could be seasons like fall and winter and weather like rain and thunder, What do you guys think of this idea?

It’s okay. It’s a fun game... but you guys are greedy with the cost of gems. It’s a 1.39 for 100 gems and it costs a lot to do stuff. Just getting the next wish list to come up costs 100 each time. The wish list wont give me anymore missions now, but I haven’t gotten every animal yet.. so that’s forcing people to buy if they want each Christmas item..just went from 3 star to one star for that.

Add Little Houses to Decorate. Wish you could craft a little house or roofed room to place in your isle & put in all the furniture you can already craft! It would be the cutest thing ever. It would add another aspect to the game that new and loyal players would go crazy for!

Penguin Isle. Love the game but please, please, please change the behavior on the Skip the Dishes advertisement! Other ads are now displaying the same behaviour. If you click on the ads for more rewards and don’t click on it within a minute, the phone starts heating up. I then go to the main screen and swipe up to close the app. Then log back in. This is the only app on my phone that does this. It has happened in previous versions and iOS versions. I currently am running iOS 15.4 on an iPhone 12 I am running version 1.43.1 of Penguin Isle

Game not bad but the ads.... It starts okay but soon you realize that in order to play the game you have to spend lots and lots of money or get ready to watch ads all day long. I mean it is understandable to have ads in free games but this is just insane. After spending a few days on it you will conclude that there is absolutely no substance to this game. My favourite game ever!. I have been playing this game for over two years now and I still love it! The penguins are really cute and I love watching the penguins interact with everything. Habitats are released faster than I can get them so it feels like I will never run out of things to do! I would love it if the penguins couldn’t walk through things. It might be too hard with all of the decorations but if the penguins couldn’t walk through each other that would be awesome! Sometimes I unlock a new penguin but I can’t see them because they are inside another penguin. There could even be a cute short animation when they bump into each other!

You better like watching ads…. Penguin Isle on the surface is a charming idle game with a charming art style. Sadly the developers have decided to follow in the footsteps of other idle games by locking everything meaningful behind ad walls. Progression is slow, but watching a single ad can net multiple hours worth of progress. As a player, I quickly lost the motivation to do anything because of the unbalanced ad rewards. Secondly, you can only idle for a very limited amount of time. In my opinion this is the most disgusting practice an idle game developer can do. That is like taking chess and charming you money to move pieces. Even additional features like mini games cost an ads worth of gems EACH TRY! This game looks incredible and is one the biggest disappointments on the App Store. I would not recommend this to any person who likes idle games.

A Remarkably Frustrating Experience. I actually enjoy the core functions of the game. That being said, it has two major issues that have basically ruined it for me. Firstly: it is far too reliant on ads. I play quite a few mobile games, and almost all of them offer ads as a bonus way to earn in-game currency. A few ads here and there aren’t so bad. But this game makes watching ads a core function. Playing this game essentially means watching ads half the time you’re logged in. Which brings me to my second, the even bigger complaint: THE APP FREEZES 9/10 TIMES I TRY TO LOAD AN AD! I’m not sure if this is a temporary issue, as i’ve only had this for a week or two, but it’s feels almost unplayable as is. It’s a mess. With something so painfully reliant on ads, one could at least hope that the ads actually work.

Peguintastic!. I have played many different idle games that seemed to follow the same formula - constantly grind to level up and eventually gets dull. That being said, I was a little hesitant downloading this game but I am hooked! The developers have really outdone themselves with the smooth graphics and gameplay. Seeing various different species of penguins running around and your isle expanding is very rewarding. You can easily play this game without having to spend a dime if you use your resources wisely but I’ll admit I have spent a few dollars to enhance my experience. My only suggestion is perhaps add a x10 button when leveling up your isles various spaces. I can’t wait to see what the NEXT big update will bring after this

I think that this is a very good game, because I’ve never really written a review about and idle game before. For example I played “Idle Life” for a while but it got boring real fast. This game has kept me peaceful and it's a game that I enjoy! I like calmer things and horror games. And so I'm glad I found it because it's a calmer game. Thanks so much for making this game! I hope I don’t stop playing anytime soon. I suggest you make another game. Like this one but based on something else. Ad Hungry, but Addictive. I’ve recently become addicted to this game, had it only over a week and I’m working on obtaining the deer ranch. It’s a cute idea, however to really progress in the game and obtain ANYTHING you have to watch endless advertisements. It’s just another upgrade currency games, but this one is based off of adorable, slaved penguins. I would’ve given it five stars, but since the Christmas update I haven’t been receiving my offline reward. I’ll even swipe out of it before I go to sleep, so it’ll read I’m off the app, but in the morning it doesn’t show. I also wish there were more interactive features with the penguins and animals. Another issue is that in the “quests”, it only wants you to keep upgrading the fisherman penguin, and doesn’t include any of the other habitats.

Amazing for anxiety. I just adore penguins so I though why not give this game a try, it’s a slow paced game that honestly relaxes me, it’s not something that you would finish in a day or week. Which is exactly what I love about this. If you’re thinking about getting this game you definitely should! It’s honestly very helpful to me in many ways. Definitely a 5 star. It brought me so many memories of a veryyyy old game I loved to play and it had the same concept just older. It was great to be able to experience a childhood game again but in a newer experience as it’s such a old game it can’t be updated for newer devices. 5/5 <3

Great Game - Highly Suggest!. Very rarely do I find myself writing reviews for any games I play, but this one is deserved. I have been searching for the perfect game to play before I fall asleep, and this one fits perfectly. Not only is it incredibly calming, but it’s also fun and entertaining. I have played a lot of idle games, but never one like this. Usually it takes FOREVER to unlock the next level / place / whatever it may be but this one takes the perfect amount of time. It’s not too hard to unlock the next thing but it’s not to easy where you unlock everything in a day. Even if it’s taking you time to get coins, there’s still so many other things to keep you busy while you’re waiting. I also like how frequently opportunities are given to get more coins and hearts, without being too annoying or overwhelming. I usually find ads and such like this annoying, but It’s the perfect balance in my opinion. Also, can we about how cute the penguins are? The graphics are also super nice. The music is calming and I’m so happy to have found this. The creators have done an extraordinary job!!!

Beyond amazing💗.. I could say this is one of the most soothing apps iv ever purchased, I enjoy every moment on this game, For a person who loves the sea and Penguins.. this is amazing. The graphics are beyond amazing and the details, how it never gets boring to play. You can literally play it whenever you feel want the fun never stops and you dont even need to put much effort. For the past couple of months I have been trying to find an App that I would not get bored of.. I'm a person who gets bored immediately and i dont like games that need focus and attention, It get gets boring to me and i ditch it within a week, But this game makes me wanna play because its so easy, fun and relaxing, I highly recommend it if you dont have enough time to focus on a game it’s a very different game with great graphics. I love the events that allow you to get limited edition objects, but sometimes I wish there were more penguins you could win and that the events were a little longer. I also wish that you could put more decorations on your island. The limit makes me frustrated because I cannot place everything I want from my inventory. I love the new update which grants you a workshop were you can build things. I feel that makes the game more entertaining. Sometimes the prices to earn a new habit are a little excessive, but it’s all right. Overall super great game though! Looking forward to more games like this!

Loved this game…..until today. I am so disappointed at the ad content that was displayed in your game this morning. If you are going to rate this game for ages 4+ please make sure that the content of ads is suitable for that age range. I have been playing this game for over a year and a half and recently introduced it to my 10 year old granddaughter. It’s a mellow game that helps her relax and unwind. Imagine my surprise while we were playing this morning as an adult content ad appeared right in front of us. I was mortified and her face immediately turned red, as she embarrasses very easily. I hope the developers will take a look at this and fix it. This game, with its name alone, appeals to kids and they should not be subjected to adult content in a game rated for 4+

So good that I’m writing my first review!. This game is absolutely precious and I would recommend it for literally anyone who has any spare time to waste. However, a nice edition would be events — like in Abyssrium. It would give the game some more variety and interaction. Also, I’m working on unlocking Whale’s Nest and I’m finding it impossible to increase my production because my penguins are maxed out and there’s not much I can do. I’m really not interested in spending heaps of money to get something I could get for free, but it’d be more enjoyable to play if it felt like there was an end to my work in sight... Regardless, it’s still one of my favorite apps of all time. ❤️

Chill game. I really enjoy this game a lot. I’ve sunk more hours into this game than many others I have paid for. It’s super satisfying seeing all the cute penguins hanging out on the island. Some thoughts I’ve had about the game are : penguin environments stop upgrading aesthetically (it would be cool if they continually got more complex) : the game slows down once you can no longer buy penguins (I’ve reached the point where all my penguins are at 20/20 and it slows progression down quite a bit, I guess this may be intended as it goes longer on but it has made it to the point that it’s no longer worth it for me to collect the penguin heart gift box, or the treasure ship since at most I will be able to upgrade only 2 or three habitats after getting it) : it would be really cool to be able to turn the island and go under water at any point in time not only when taking a picture. : possibly increase the amount of acheivements. (I’ve gotten to the point where some of my achievements are maxed) Ty for the fun relaxing game. The events are super cool! Bring back the whale!

Visually Pleasing and Adorable. I never write reviews on anything. This is probably the first time I’ve ever written one, but I’ve never really enjoyed mobile games with the whole buying and upgrading stuff theme. However, this game really reeled me in with its beautiful and simple design. It looks like a lot of time was put into the design and the concept. The way the penguins run around is so adorable. I only downloaded this today but I’m already very happy. Thank you for making a game that doesn’t feel so desperate for ad-related attention. I genuinely enjoy tending to my penguins, and I think the artistic aspect is absolutely perfect (at least for me aesthetically).

Last Update Unreliable. I absolutely love this game and have been playing daily for months now. Unfortunately, the last update has made it impossible to play. When opening, the app crashes. When you try to reopen it loses any idle time you could have claimed while you were away. My phone is overheating playing it all of a sudden. Ads have begun to freeze when you try to watch and you lose that reward as well. I don’t mind watching ads or waiting to earn rewards while I’m idle but coming back to the game to claim anything is almost useless right now. I’ve seen you answer several others saying to switch between 4G and WiFi but it doesn’t resolve the issue on my end. Is this all being worked on? You’re by far my favorite game but this is getting more and more disappointing.

So cute and relaxing!. Ever since I first payed eyes on this game I was in love. As a penguin lover I love how cute the animations are as the little dudes just waddle around everywhere and interact with the environment such as when you first start the game penguins will go eat at the fishing place or pickup flowers and planting them near the birth area or talking a dip in the cool pool or chilling near the fire. There is so many cute animations you get to see and enjoy while playing this game. I however wish that you would get to see your little dudes grow up from a chick and be able to name them or have a random name generator just something simple. The fact that you put literal predators of the penguin alongside them on the island is just plain weird. I mean it’s cute I guess? But doesn’t really make sense even if it’s a very cartoonish game. It does bother me just a little. The music is very soothing and really just hugs the color palette to really make a cute relaxing game. You aren’t bombarded with ads every second and really makes you just enjoy the view a lot of times. Overall a really simple game that you could just pull out any spare time you have and still enjoy playing it. 🐧

LOVE IT!!! But... a suggestion. I absolutely love this game! It’s relaxing, awesome features, I also love the whale! But then I found out it was leaving for good 😭😭😭😭. But I do hope you’ll replace it with something just as relaxing as the whale. But anyway on to suggestions. First I was thinking my island is so big now I just started playing only a few days ago and I’m already on arctic base, and then it hit me where do they sleep!? So I thought why don’t they add a hotel for the penguins! That would be super cool! I don’t really have anymore suggestions but maybe add some calming music. It’s already pretty calming but it sounds more like random beats lol. But it could also be a holiday music. Like I said I’ve only been playing for a few days so... but yeah thanks if your reading this! 😘

It was good but know. I love this game and I love my penguins and my animals but now every time i watch an add to summon my ship or get the hearts or even my silver chest or 30 diamonds I’ll make me watch the add and then kick me out this as been going on for about two weeks and I don’t want to delete the game and redownlowed it in fear of losing all my babies so I don’t have much of a solution here I need to make money to make stuff but when I’m not making enough compared to how much it cost to upgrade or get new land it upsets me because I need more space for them. When will this problem be fixed because in don’t want to lose them but I might have to start over to hopefully get rid of this problem

I like it but......... I wish they added more maybe they should add something that you can color the penguins and you can make them any color for 160 gems 💎 and I wish they added more animals like a unicorn or a queen penguin or a princess penguin because I saw a king penguin that I can unlock soon also I have a issue because my sister plays this game too and when ever I join it takes me to her island but. Wanted to go to mine and she just started playing the game and the last update you should make is to make it where you can make a Mini movie for the theater I know I don’t have the theater but I think it would be cool and that’s all I have for me to say!

Love this!. Just so you know, this game does take a lot of time, so if you are one of those really impatient people, I don’t recommend this to you. Although I just downloaded this game, I am already hooked into this game. The cute penguins are motivating and really fun to watch. This game is also really calming. There is music in the background that is really calming. I also love the fact how you can choose the type of music you are going to have played in the background, because games don’t usually have that. I really recommend this game to those who are really stressed out during quarantine. As soon as I opened this app and listened to the music with the cute penguins waddling around, I felt my mind go clear, and it made me so happy. But all games have a negative. I personally don’t get the little animals that you can purchase to upgrade the amount of goods you can get while you aren’t playing the game. I don’t understand what I need to level them up or purchase a new one. I think that should be part to the tutorial. But overall, I really think this is a great game. It is so calming and I really recommend it to stressed people Stay safe everyone!!!

Why take away the whale?. I have been playing this game for awhile now and it is very relaxed. I like how it takes time for you to progress farther in the game. The one thing I have an issue with is that you took away the whale. I liked that you could have a variety of animals and that you could even summon a whale time and time again. I didn’t like that when I came back to the game after awhile that you replaced the whale with a ship. I thought the game was animal based and it really disappointed me when I saw that. I do like the ship but I miss the whale. You should be able to pick what comes out the water and give you extra money. That would allow people to pick what they enjoy the most. I do hope you consider this in a future update. This is the only thing that I have had a problem with.

Great Games just takes time. I love this game and have been quite addicted for the past month. Everything is very satisfying. The only problem I have is the progression toward the last couple of habitats. It seemed that the leap from the hot air balloon to the whales nest took forever. The quests are also very repetitive, it would be nice to see some new quests added within in the game however I don’t see anything they could actually add considering it’s a rather simple game. Last thing, the screenshots for the game show baby penguins next to the emperor penguins. I have unlocked every single penguin and the babies are no where to be found!

Could be better. I like the idea behind the game, and it could be so much better. For instance, a purchase option to skip the constant ‘watch videos for x’. Or the ability to disable the constant ‘take a picture of this, take a picture of that, take more pictures’ penguin, which also leaves the camera open afterwards, leaving you to press that really tiny X to close it. Uninstalling. I dislike games that are ad-hungry. Granted, they aren’t forced like some games, but you basically push them onto the player to the point that they’re clicked just to get them to go away, or when you need money (or wait forever in order to upgrade). It’s basically designed to get you to click ads to upgrade things. 3 stars.

Penguin cuties. I love this game it doesn’t feel like a game it feels more meditation app I love the music and colors. The 2D characters are absolutely disturbing tho.. the way it gallops around in a 3D world... horrifying lol I wish I could delete it from its misery. also when the characters stand on the ledge staring out to an endless horizon... deeply moves me.. what are they lost in thought about? And. Are they designed to move to the same positions? ..bc I think the Buffalo is in a crisis. Oh and I wish I could redecorate after I’ve placed an object somewhere...accidentally put the bathtub in a peculiar spot and can’t fix it... I also wish we could visit other users worlds and chat that’d be a game changer. Love it anyway thanks.

Amazing 🐧. When I first downloaded this game, I thought it wouldnt be the style for me. Whenever I have ever downloaded any games I usually end up deleting them and especially isle games, this game is so amazing! I can tell they really put work into it. The music is so calm and I’ve been playing for hours, so far what im impressed with is the quality and ads! Out of the hours I’ve been playing, I haven’t gotten a single ad. The quality is great and it hasn’t glitched at all! I usually don’t ever like a game enough to write a review for it but this one is so good! I can’t recommend this enough.

Decent Clicker Game. This is a totally decent clicker game with some very nice graphics the penguins and seals are really cute and the gameplay is decently in depth for a clicker game, with lots of different things to check up on. My only issue is that later game, around the whale farm things start to get pretty dang slow. I also really enjoy how they’re this game isn’t super cheap with the paid currency, you don’t have to buy anything to actually play the game at a semi-reasonable pace. As I said for a clicker game it’s pretty nice. I would love to see some quality of life improvements though, like upgrading a habitat to the highest level you can afford in 1 click, so I don’t have to spend a bunch of time just clicking on the level up button over and over. Maybe the same for the heart level up thing?

PENGUINS ~. When I first found this game I was like, “OMG Penguins!!”. I saw you could create an island full of just Penguins. Just Penguins! I started playing and absolutely got hooked. This was a well-designed game with excellent graphics. However, I still think there’s some things to improve! First of all, there shouldn’t be a max on a certain type of penguin. I believe you should be able to create a mixed island or an island with just one type of penguin. This allows the player to have more control over what type of island they want. Also all the normal types have the same boost so there should be no need to limit the number of each type. Secondly, can the Penguins just squawk without having to be touched? I think adding natural penguin noises would be a nice touch to the arctic ambience you already have. Lastly, why must the baby Penguins be bought with money? I mean yeah they’re the ultimate cuteness but COME ON NOW. I suggest you make a feature where new Penguins can be born into the world but rarely. So overall the game is great but it needs more Penguins!

Amazing Game. So this game is really good and this game has no ads except the ads that give rewards and a lot of games have ads but no ads for no money is amazing and I have played this game for 2 days and it’s worth it, but at the penguins should cost separate money like the starting penguin and the gentoo penguin cost the same price so I thought you should add a separate price for the penguins. Overall this game is really good and relaxing I really like it and not to be mean to other games but this is my favorite game I really like it so if you’re reading this developers/developer or if your looking at ratings for this it’s a good game so at least try it out.

A very magical and Majestic experience. Gross Ads. I really want to say I adore this game, its the cutest thing I’ve seen. But sometimes the ads are SO nasty. I don't want to see sexual kink ads for breast milk anime games while I’m trying to relax. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable and inappropriate that could be for a kid playing this game. Honestly, annoying ads are fine even if they still creep me out, and even weird normal sexual content I can stomach, but I draw the line at Freudian Oedipus complexes, no thanks. Maybe if I set the app to track this wouldn’t happen, but I like to at least pretend I have some control of my data and don’t let any apps do so. Please put an option to report inappropriate ads!!!! Google has this feature, you can too.

Ads ads ads. 2nd UPDATE: just sat thru 70+ second ad for Match 3D. Unacceptable - don't the devs realize I'll watch 10 5-second ads (and make them more $) ... but with multiple long ads I'm done for the day and they make nothing?! UPDATE: Getting tired of being an ad-tapping automaton... and of waiting literally weeks to accumulate 10w in hearts... The recent update doubled-down on the ad + real money grabbing, so after about 8 months of play I think I'm done. (And it's still occasionally crashing at random.) ORIGINAL REVIEW: Cute and fun, but a massive grind as it grows. I'm giving a 3-star is because it's randomly crashing *a lot* the last few weeks - since before the Egypt update. IPhone XS, iOS 15.3.1. In the latest crash I lost a treasure ship reward ... it's reaching the point I don't want to play. Also knocking a star for the fact you have to pay to expand the # of decorations you can place - really?!

Good until you’re reeled in.. So I’ve been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and I’ll give a very direct review. When you start the game, getting money and items is very linear and it’s pretty fun. Your money scales with the penguins you summon and as you upgrade habitats your money goes up at a fairly good pace. After a couple weeks, though, I started to see that this distribution between each habitat started getting wider and wider the longer you played. Essentially, at first, it’s easy to level up habitats and get to the next step. But once you’ve alley started investing time and enjoying the game, they start to make it a complete and total grind. Coming from a software engineer, this is designed to be predatory. They give you an easy leveling experience but then basically make it unbearable to play without spending money. I know it’s a free game, and I understand they have to make money but this route makes the game awful. It’s the same reason you can also get one recipe more than once. Everything they do is to discourage you from progressing at a reasonable pace. It took me recently 4 days of playing every other hour to go from one habitat to the next. It took less than a couple hours to get the first 2-3. Let that sink in.

Has Potential, but mainly a nitpick.. The whole point of this game is that it’s supposed to be “relaxing.” Peaceful piano plays in the background, on a loop. The audio of the game, which is one of the main focus points, is repetitive. It isn’t as abrasive to the point in which you retain a headache, but still annoying. When you tap a penguin they all make the same noise too. It would make more sense that if you tap the seal it makes an ‘arc’ instead of a bird squeak. There aren’t that many sounds in an asmr game which is lame. When you tap the miner penguin you could instead hear its pick hit the rock, the gardener maybe some grass rustling, and the fisherman could make the sound of his line reeling in when you tap him. Add more sounds. It’s not as soothing as it could. More than one piano track couldn’t hurt either.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. Hello I am So happy thanks to the makers I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO PENGUINS AND, I have a love for penguins and they are so cute, I never find games like these and everything is easy, I think even tho everything is based on ads, I’m fine, they are not 1-2 minute ads and you can easily build without using real life money, I love this game and it’s made me so happy I’ll rate it a full five stars, You should download for relaxation and fun, hang out with penguin friends! Also, I do ask, can you get baby penguins in the game. HUGE THANKS TO CREATORS!!! ✨Wow✨. I have one word to say, WOW!!! I have never so addicted to a game in my entire life. Penguin Isle is truly so relaxing and amazing. The beautiful music in the background and the way the game is coded is so good. It is simple yet entertaining, I will spend literally 2 hours a day just staring at the game. It has taken most of my screen time because of how addicting it is 🤦🏼‍♀️. I must say though, if you like finishing a game quickly or expect to get really far quickly, then you would be kinda annoyed at this game. But as far as it goes, it is very relaxing Although penguin Isle is an amazing game, it does have some room for improvements: - Making new habitats a little bit easier to buy - Bugs such as not receiving my rewards - It’s usually the other animals that do this bit penguins do it too; they run into the border and still do the walking/ running animation. This bothers me a bit because sometimes they get stuck. I don’t really notice any other bugs, but if I do I will add them. I really love this game and highly recommend it 😁 ❤️

I LOVE it!!. I got this app a few minutes ago and I already LOVE it!! It’s really calming and you only watch ads for if you choose to for coins. It took my anxiety away and I’m very calm and happy now! You don’t have to pay for anything unless you choose to if you’re inpatient and wan5 to buy gems or coins, I definitely recommend this app if you are anxious or bored. And all of the animals are so cute! There’s a big variety of penguins and animals you can get when you have the coins/gems. AND you can take pictures of them and get coins by doing so!! Pretty good but.... I really like this game!! It’s honestly very soothing for me. It’s at a super good pace but I’m having issues with the loading issues. For you to get the energy Lightning things you sometimes need to watch ads to get to complete that mission. I’m currently unable to do that because it says loading and it obviously won’t load. I’m pretty far in the game so I really don’t want to start over. Please fix this!! One other thing is that when you buy a new habitat it cost a lot of money. It takes a really long time to get there, so I kind of wish it had a lower price. Those are my only complaints. Everything else is awesome and additive. I still love the game !!

Nice!.... The game is actually good, the penguins are adorable, it’s excited by and enjoying, the one problem I have is how long it takes to get enough money for a new land, I’ve been waiting till I have enough money for the Antarctic base fire thing, but I’ve been waiting for DAYZsss. I don’t wanna have to compare, but to give you a better example of what you’re m saying I have to. I have another like this except it’s with cats and it’s a bit different, but I get money way faster it’s only Like the third day since I’ve had it and I already have a lot of stuff and a lot of money so I can buy new lands. Cutest lil game!!. I never leave reviews but I’ve just started playing this game and it’s honestly my new favorite game now. The penguins are so adorable and they interact with the little things you put into the world. I’ve named mine lmaoo. This is a really well made game, and I’m excited to grow my little island and see my penguins enjoy the different parts of the island as it grows. Edit: I’ve had the game for a while now and my only complaint is just how long it takes to progress...when you finally unlock a new habitat, the next habitat is so much more expensive than the last that it takes A LOT of time to finally unlock it. It’s an extreeeeeemely slow moving game. But I guess in the meantime as you wait to have enough money to buy a new habitat, you can decorate your island.

This game is well worth it, even underestimated. After playing for a bit, I can tell they put thought into this game. While it follows the general structure of a city-wealth builder with a mix of hyper hippo (adventure capitalism, and sequels), but with a lot of cute penguins building a society on an iceberg. Ads we all love to hate are nowhere to be seen, and the micro-transactions are not shoved in your face, either. Pros: -no ads to be seen within a good hour of gameplay. -casual town builder that feels unique. -micro-transactions casual and mainly cosmetic from what I can see. -cute penguins and penguin anims. -does not feel like a template rehash or “cookie cutter game” -good sound/ambient Cons: -some of the icons are a bit small and a few resize/accessibility options in settings would help. -there are a few graphical bugs like with the money digits sometimes being boxes, but none so far that significantly affect gameplay. Overall great game. Glad to see there’s still games made that don’t shove ads in your face.

WE WANT BABY PENGUINS. Hello Penguin Makers, I, Michael (boy, 19) am an avid penguin isle player. I love the game and it brings me joy. It has a lot of great features like when you tap the penguins and they fall over, haha! The game is an excellent mix of competitiveness and relaxation. Though I love the game, I have also concerns that I am willing to offer suggestions for. I noticed that recently penguins, not creatures, are beginning to have outfits and represent made up types of penguins. I do not like this. I prefer a more natural landscape for my playing experience and penguins in costumes running everywhere is not what I want. I realize that there are a limited number of real penguin species (of which only 9/17 are in the game)which makes adding new penguins limited, which is why I am suggesting the implementation of baby penguins of species already in the game! I myself am an avid penguin enthusiast and know that baby penguins look very different from adults of the same species and are extremely cute (fact). Baby king penguins and baby emperor penguins in particular would be a very exciting new penguins to see scooting around my island. I love the game and hope you consider my suggestions! Too many ads. Progress is limited without expensive items. If I am buying the monthly “Gems Penguin”, and every EVERY event I have to buy the pass or else I never get all the rewards, why do you still force me to watch ads just to be able to summon the treasure ship? To be able to double my away-time earnings?? And 30$ **every month** to skip ads is so rude it is almost an insult. You can’t skip the wait, or even summon a treasure ship (which is needed for research tasks!), unless you buy “ad skip tokens”… So all the money we spent is not enough? You have to monetize us with ads even after taking our money? Pick one option! Instead of giving us useless baby penguins whenever we purchase real-money things or buy gems, give us the option to permanently skip ads if we spent enough. You already track every in-app purchase to show us baby penguins we ‘earned’ so you can definitely do that. Speaking of gems, the “watch 1 ad and get gems” thing was pushed from once every 30 minutes to once every hour. And trying to buy any past event items (I started playing in the summer of 2021) shows you the ridiculous prices like 2,000 gems for a penguin **that is not included in the 15$ package offered to those who missed events**!

I never write reviews but .... This game is phenomenal, Most idle games give you a lot of money in no time Which time is boring. Idle penguin is soothing exciting and everything in between. You get to grind for stuff but also enjoy the scenery you create. I will say one thing I’m not fond of is the fact that the “Penguin pass” costs 9.99$ , the same price as “Rocket leagues” rocket pass and the same price as fortnites “battle pass.” If you lowered it by half , 5$, then you would definitely see more people buying it and I would as well! But 10$ is too much, especially for an idle game, but besides that 10/10 gameplay.

Definitely recommend (this game is so awesome). I love this game so much. If you like idle games but dislike ads this is the game for you! Penguins are the cutest the game is perfect for me.. when I first bought it I found out there was a lovely penguin it was telling me what to do so he won’t be that lonely and I wanted to help since you know I just said penguins are the cutest in the game is perfect for me so I try to help them and then eventually I will I was going crazy and stuff and then I just got easier and easier and easier and it was just the best game ever I had it was the best game I had in my whole life and sometimes other games would be better but I need it was a weather update and then it would be better againSo it was just the best game I just I just wish I could give this big 3 million more stars

New Mileage System. I have never written a review for a game. I believe that this is a really fun game, and this has kept me entertained for a long time. I recently got back on, and Saw all the new things you can do on the game. I had some questions about how to do some of those things but I didn’t know where else to put the questions. How do you get mileage to get the baby penguins? Also, my customized penguin does not move when I click the screen to place the flag. This is a great game, the only big problem is how much money it takes to get to the next habitat. Could someone please explain how to turn on mileage?

Easy going and relaxing. This game is fun and relaxing. I find it to almost be therapeutic with the soothing music and cute content. I love penguins so this game was bound to be a win for me. I wish that the quest didn’t have me upgrading just ONE habitat constantly. It gets really difficult to progress if I’m only working on one thing. It honestly makes me not want to play as much because I get too frustrated that I’m not able to continue in the quest. That’s really my only complaint. I appreciate the ability to customize the island with objects now. I also like how the developer works on the in game bugs and will occasionally give you some free gifts if something wasn’t working for you.

Adorable. I typically think idle games are a silly waste of time, but this one is somehow different. Maybe it’s the adorable graphics. Maybe it’s a legitimate curiosity to see how the creatures interact with the next place or object. Maybe it’s the fact that the fisherman is still my most productive penguin, even though it was also my first. The two of us have seen this community really blossom. One thought, not complaint, for any developers reading this: I’m super far into the game and the recipe cards have slowly turned from an exciting positive development into a mildly positive find that mostly takes up inventory slots. I wouldn’t get rid of that, but it might be interesting to have new recipes available for the penguins to find periodically. In general, thanks for a great game.

Love this game!!. I got this game because I saw my cousin playing it and thought the little penguins were so cute! So I downloaded it and it became one of my favorites. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who isn’t impatient and wants everything to go by quickly. I definitely love this game and do not have any recommendations but... There is just one thing I don’t agree with. When you get a new habitat and the next one pops up, you have to get so much more gold to get there, this may annoy most people. But still, I’m not sure if I disagree or agree on this. I think it gives you something to work up to, but why so far away? Overall I absolutely love this game!
