Archero 2 Comments & Reviews 2026
Incredible game. This mobile game has to be one of the best mobile games ever created. I have played a lot of it so far and I love all aspects of this game, specifically a rune that gives me a free sprite that does some damage and heals me, genuinely such a cool idea, and I can’t wait to see what other permanent upgrades like this I get. I love this game and have already poured in multiple hours and I already know I will pour many more, the only issue I have seen so far is the charge attacks change your weapon. I love using the beam attack with my weapon and I would love to see the beam combine with the charge attack. Also, you can get a beam attack whenever my weapon already does a beam attack and all it seems to do is make it shoot slower. Would be cool if it made the beam wider or something atleast. Keep up the great work.
Another game for the pile. Downloaded since it was supposed to be “better” but its basically the same money hungry game as before but 3D, its not designed to be fun or innovative, its just designed to be frustrating enough to male you want to spend money on overpriced packages you could just grind for, the enemies in game are all the exact same, even the bosses are just the regular enemies with more health and little else, the “difficulty” is just the damage and health increasing to unfair amounts, another tactic to squeeze a few dollars out of you, it’s blatantly obvious the devs only want your money from the price of everything to the fact that they use the same ui and gameplay for every game they make Edit 2: after a while of playing i’ve come to fund that this game is even worse than i thought, number padding is apparently good game design to these developers, archero is the most money hungry game i’ve played in a while, but i guess i should have guessed based on their other games, genuinely don’t play it if you want a good game to play, there is ZERO passion behind this game
Terrible. First off, don’t create Archero 2 if it’s going to be the exact same game as number one. Majority of the power ups in this game are complete garbage. After a couple days, you’re going to realize that the rest of these dungeons for the rest of your life are based on your luck, whether or not you got the good enchantment or one of the terrible ones that would literally not help you in anyway whatsoever. Other than that, It’s the exact same boring game that you have to grind to see very little difference in power. You’ll honestly be bored by day 3. The amount of stamina you get per day is not going to help you whatsoever and you almost never level up, and you’re limited to the number of cards you can purchase for some reason…
Good but one small bug. I think this may be one of the best mobile games ever. Which is impressive since most mobile games are terrible. I think I may have found a minor glitch that ain’t that big of a deal but it can be annoying. Sometimes when I get the angelic shelter upgrade(I think that’s what it’s called) it claims to give temporary invincibility when you get damaged. However, I have seen instances where that effect doesn’t exist even though I got the upgrade and the effect has appeared multiple times. It’s very minor, but fixing it could be good. Thanks for making an amazing game Habby
Awful enemy design, power scaling, and level design. I’ve played the first Archero, which was boring because it was easy. This one is just absurdly difficult with non-boss enemies 2-shotting you at level 2 and above. Once you get gear (which is a pain), then it isn’t much of a problem. However, another problem shows up where bosses are either too easy or absurdly difficult, with the bosses either giving you no room to breath, or being a baby walk. At level 11 it introduces double bosses in the worst way possible, which is the smallest map I’ve played on so far, where it’s just a bridge and the rest is water, where you’re stuck on the bridge and the enemies have a field day. I don’t think I’ve have less fun than when I’ve played this game. Do not recommend.
Fun Game But Repetitive. The game is certainly very fun, especially if you get a really powerful build. Graphically it looks beautiful, the hits feel satisfying, and clearing rooms and under two seconds with a perfectly accumulated build is incredibly satisfying. However, once you've done about 10 levels you've pretty much seeing all it has to offer in terms of skills, powers, and upgrades. Perhaps it changes my newly based on the weapon, but there isn't enough build variety or power variety to really keep it consistently fresh and unique each play through. The game pretty much funnels you into needing to use a very specific type of loadout which is obviously far stronger than any other loadout you could possibly accumulate. And you just keep retrying the levels until you're lucky enough to get those skills in succession. Once that happens you're pretty much good for the rest of the chapter. Would prefer if they took out a lot of the useless abilities (which there are many) and put in some unique ones that would shake up the place style, build options and generally make the game far, far less repetitive.
Great update/sequel. I started playing arch hero when it first came out a very long time ago. It was my favorite phone game for the longest time and I came back to it this previously year to see it had grown a lot since I first played, but become a little money hungry. I got very excited to see Archero 2 was coming out, but was getting annoyed because the ads for it were so rambunctious, but it was just to pre-order the game. Now that it’s finally out I would like to say it is a fantastic game. The updates to the gameplay and new skills/abilities are amazing. The only thing I would recommend changing or something that kind of feels like a bug right now is when you get the charge attacks it completely removes your weapon which is really bad and there’s no point to ever pick up a charge attack because of that.
Good job!. I am a veteran from the previous game. I played the other one every single day and when days were slow at work. Grinded a lot too. I’m very proud of this new one because you guys stuck with the same mechanics as the previous ones but new and improved ones. New models, new interesting enemies, and a new feel to the game. Like really, you guys just took notes and improved! I’m genuinely surprised and shocked because not a lot of game devs do it like this. Good job and can’t wait to see more updates in the future!
Love chaos? This is for you!. Do you enjoy a lack of consistency at every turn? Do you like almost beating a boss on your first attempt to then subsequently get wrecked for the next 10 tries because the game thinks you’re moving too fast? Do you like being bottlenecked by ads and micro transactions? Well this game is for you! Forget skill! If you’re close to beating a stage or boss faster than then the developers want you to, Archero 2 will take care of that with random and sudden damage increases or tracking projectiles that never tracked before! Do you like doing damage to things, powering up your character and then doing less damage? Well then this is the game for you! If you like needy game design and progression based on the timeline of your wallet or developer generosity than this is the game for you!!
Gameplay. Overall it’s a good, entertaining game. The issue I have is there’s WAY too much content. On the main screen, there’s 25 different things you can click on, and if you click on several of those, it gives you even more things to click on and do. There’s also almost always “!” Next to many of those options too, that means there is something you can either claim or something new in there. But that’s just even more pop ups that aren’t always necessary. Like telling me there’s 3 more ads I can watch for the 3 packs. Also, pop ups asking me to buy packs every other time I enter the menu. It gets old. And more, there’s at least 5 different places to claim rewards. Nice, more rewards! But it’s annoying clicking through 5 different pages just to get 10 gems each. And the leveling up progression is slow and I feel like you should get better rewards from leveling up. I’m level 14 and have several hours in the game. I shouldn’t be getting 50 gems for 45 mins of gameplay to level up. It should be more, I can get 50 gems for completing a 10 minute level on some random side-quest. Decent game.
Fun but P2W. The game is very fun, and honestly if you dont mind grinding you will get a solid month of pushing levels and boards but like archero 1 you eventually reach what i would consider not so much a pay wall but a point where unless you spend money, your progress will be limited and thats roughly around power 100k-150k. The rewards slow as expected, levels jump temendously from 1 to the next in damage dealt by enemys and damage you can deal to them, but also pvp becomes almost impossible with all of the people above you clearly spending money. So yeah its fun for a while and will entertain you, but anyone saying its not P2W is just a liar
Too many ads/micro transactions. I want to love this game but the amount of money this game begs you to spend is absurd, combined with the fact that it feels like your forced to watch the ads to continually progress because rewards are slow. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to spend $5,000 a week to keep up with other players. I get that these games have to make money but the the fact that every chapter you complete comes with a pack you can buy, some for $50 is insane. All that being said, It is a fun game with decent mechanics, good visuals and satisfying difficulty so far (I’m only on Chapter 18). I have noticed some lagging every once in a while, not sure if that’s my phone or the game. Can’t speak on game audio because I turn it off immediately. If you can ignore the many ads as well as the game throwing “spend 5$, $20, $50, $100” to play the slot machine.
Great game. I like the way you can customize it’s pretty I really don’t like the whole energy thing it’s not that fun but I understand why they do it since it has a sorta small amount of micro transactions. I haven’t had to spend any money so far but it doesn’t really seem like I’d have to the only reason I probably would is to get more but I don’t need to but 10/10 fun there are tons of different enemy’s and I do like the rougelike experience the bosses are in the same order of course and o haven’t figured if the actual enemies are but I know for sure the powers aren’t and the rarity for what power you get are also random
A lot of tweaks needed. The game has potential but a lot of tweaks are needed. Your power level compared to the level you’re on especially against bosses they hit you twice and you’re done compared to hitting them 50 times, enemies constantly spawning were you’re at, your abilities like power and speed don’t seem to level at all, the abilities you are offered are out of proportion, and even the regular enemies, and especially the bosses, I select attack power yet I have to hit them the same and the next boss a lot more. Fix the enemies spawning the same exact spot you’re standing , this will help tmhhghappens about 2/3-3/4 the level please fix this.
Good Sequel to the 1st, but…. This game is a lot of fun! The upgrades are a great touch and really enhance the experience. I enjoyed the first game, but I eventually stopped playing it. When I heard the second one was out, I had to check it out, and it did not disappoint! It’s engaging and looks fantastic. Lately, I’ve been really into games where the focus is on upgrading your character and their appearance based on the armor you unlock. One thing that’s a bit of a letdown in this game is that the armor you equip doesn’t actually show up on your character. It would be awesome to see that feature added! If the devs see this, it would absolutely blow my mind if you implemented it in an update. I’m sure it would attract more players like me!
Tiptoes the line between fun and monetization. Definitely worth a download if your not familiar with the game as it has a good amount of areas to upgrade, polished gameplay, solid updated and most importantly fun without being too grindy(for an extent of new player time). The problem comes along with $30 per new character, something like 6 different monthly paid packs, $40 in permanent daily rewards that’ll put you past any ftp player and like 40+ other miscellaneous packs. Gatchas have very low drop rates and meta gaps are often large with every new equipment drop. The game is pretty tame about showing off whales or how many newer players are already 10x stronger than you due to money so if that doesn’t bother you it might be worth a long term play but personally the gap between paid and free players is just too large for me to give it a 5/5.
great game with a fatal flaw. there NEEDS to be an option to pick where your character is aiming. it would totally change the game and i know you guys wont ever do it, but it would make it sooo much better. i have been playing for a long time and i have died so many times because my character was shooting something that wasnt even close to me and 3 other enemies were closing in behind me. the only fix is to move to the side, and then you have to spend 5 minutes kiting around and looking for an opening. this just doesnt work for 50% of the build options and i dont like being forced to do one type of play style just because i cant choose where my character is aiming! plus if you are using lightning damage or use the lazer wand, those could be so much better if you could choose where you are shooting to maximize the number of enemies being hit. you dont even need to make this a forced feature, just give the aiming option in settings or something.
Gear Chests. Hey first off I wanna say I love this game and play it every day. Just one thought though I wish I was able to get a specific gear set like oracle whenever, and not have to wait a week for it to come back into shop. I think a better option instead of having a chromatic(which barely anyone goes for) AND a mythstone that cycles would be to JUST have the mythstone chests and instead of a cycle have all 3 sets available at all times. That way I can just buy the specific one I want and not have to wait a whole week while I build up gems and not spend them on anything.
Good game/ Horrible Ads. When I say I’m addicted to this game I mean it. This games progression is great and makes you think about how you can use your resources and the cards make you strategize or you will die. I love this game and all but I don’t like how it feels like it’s necessary to have to buy the no ads gamepass because of how bad it is. Whenever I use an ad to get free items or something I come back and the sound of the game is completely muted which is only fixed if I close and re-open the app. Also, the ads are also inappropriate and are just straight gooner(c0rn addict) material sometimes so I seriously suggest moderating ads, children play the game after all. Despite all I said about the ads that’s only a small part to the game and I still really really like the game.
Devs please read: Shooting yourselves in the foot. While it is still a small percentage that runs into this issue as of right now because the game is fairly new, the wall that players run into forcing them to play sky tower is not fun for players nor a profitable business model. You are losing players. Please check your discord or Reddit threads if you would like to verify this, but lot of players are progressing a lot faster on story mode than sky tower, and their story mode progression is capped by needing to finish sky tower rounds. There’s already an ‘minute based energy model’ in the game, which is proven very popular business model however you all are completely walling off the entity of the game off based on six attempts at sky Tower, a lot of player’s state that it takes weeks until they can play the game again, and state they just login to claim their daily rewards and then log off. Please fix this.
Amazing!. So I just realized 15 min ago I was able to launch Archero 2. Thought it released on the 9th of the month. Got to say im very impressed with the game. From having new abilities that the enemys on first game could use now you can use like leaving a trail of lava. Tones of new abilities so far iv seen and iv only just played the tutorial first mission. Effects are alot better game looks sharper and to me the controlls and everything feel alot better can not wait to finish the first 50 and see what all is new in game have a good day! Also this comes from someone thats put hrs into grinding the first game to becoming very powerful early without spending any money.
THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE IN THE APP STORE!. I will give you two 2 paragraph summary about the game and why it’s good Archero 2 is an exceptional sequel that builds on the original’s addictive gameplay, offering an even more polished and expansive experience. The game keeps its core mechanics intact: players control a lone hero battling through waves of enemies while dodging attacks and leveling up abilities. What sets Archero 2 apart is its deeper strategic elements, with a wider range of hero upgrades, diverse skill sets, and more complex enemy types. The addition of a detailed progression system, customizable gear, and unique heroes allows players to experiment with different builds, making each run feel fresh and exciting. Another standout feature of Archero 2 is its vibrant world design and engaging combat mechanics. The game’s smooth controls, colorful art style, and fluid animations create an immersive experience that’s easy to dive into yet offers layers of depth to master. The difficulty curve is perfectly balanced, providing a challenge without being frustrating, and the variety of environments keeps the gameplay dynamic. Whether you’re grinding for better equipment or strategizing your next move, Archero 2 excels at delivering hours of thrilling, rewarding gameplay that keeps players coming back for more. That’s is why Archero 2 and Archero 1 is the greatest game ever created in the world
Great game for it just coming out. The game just came out or its still in beta but i feel like there is not enough ways to play like if you run out of the tickets for the game modes you can only play the chapter and then if you are not good enough to beat the chapter level you are on then you might run out of energy. In my opinion and in my experience I feel like you mostly progress from those mini games because they have great rewards compared to the chapters and you don’t get to play the mini games too much. Also you guys should add better rewards for the higher chapter you are on since for some players lets say they are on chapter 60 and they get the same rewards from all the way from chapter 1 which aren’t too great and same thing applies for sky tower but overall thats the only thing I think should be improved. This game is awesome though thank you!
Shady scams. Game is fun and addictive. But certain aspects are total scams. Example being the rune ruins dig. You have a 3x3 grid that is basically a scratch off. Digging two keys is game over. My first dig i clicked the middle box revealing a key. Meaning if Its truly random then digging all the outer boxes will result in a key in the middle and maximum rewards after enough chances. But what they dont tell you is that if you have two boxes left one of them is guaranteed to be a key. Ive opened 100+ rune ruins digging the exterior boxes only and never once gotten the key in the middle. The game is designed where it is impossible to dig every square where a key isnt present. You will always get the two keys before you can uncover the last reward.
TLDR nothing but ADs. Every stage feels rigged each time no matter how many upgrades. Each match also feels rigged. You got damage buff? Now all of a sudden enemies take 2 more extra hits even tho you got more damage. It’s basically a how fast can we do keep up this illusion of a video game but in reality it’s a AD generator. It makes you think you’re progressing but you’re just moving along the AD machine. Watch ad for revive. Watch ad for gems for gear that doesn’t matter. Wow you upgrades your weapon a lot since last run? Guess what the enemies also are upgraded now. Don’t waste your time playing this nonsense. Unless you really enjoy watching ads. Even the ADs are lies. You thought the Ad was done? Nope watch these extra pop ups within the ad itself.
One suggestion for this game. I love this game quite a lot, I enjoy it much more than the original Archero due to the cool combinations of abilities and the mechanics. Although, one thing that really bugs me is the lack of loot. I typically play games that consist of getting the best loot and destroying the competition, and this game is perfect for that. But unfortunately, the rate at which you acquire good items is very slow (not just gold or gems, I mean armor and weapons too) and I would much appreciate if you would not only read my review but improve this in future updates. Thank you Habby for creating another great game for us too enjoy, I’m hoping to see this update in the future.
Great game!. Games a blast and rewards you for playing. Many app games on the market right now have horrible monetization! However, this game is different, you can progress and grind without spending a single dollar into the game and get just as much as if you spent money (if you're willing to spend the time of course) and the ads in the game are not forced they’re chosen for rewards and also can be removed with 10$ and you get more dailies! So far my only complaint is that there’s no account system so for whatever reason your game were to get corrupted or you needed to move to a different device all of your hard-earned progress would be lost. That said this could be easily implemented in a new update. So dev if you listening to this PLEASE add an account system! Thanks for the great game
Massive Progress Plateau. Visually gorgeous. Great maturing of the original concept. But… you will progress a lot the first day, a fair bit the first week, some the first month & then you will just GRIND. Even if you do every one of the dozen daily side challenges, including watching all the ads to do extras, even if you watch every ad for every free resource, you will hit a point you simply will cease to be successful at completing levels or of advancing your character in noticeable ways. Heck, there are so many things to collect, merge, level up & buy but, aside from the visual difference when shooting the bow or having the beam staff, you literally can’t tell what any of it is for of what it does. You keep expecting that next payload to make something finally break loose, but somehow it’s never quite the right combination to put it all together. And so, by the second month you will spend more time grinding the daily events than playing the actual game.
So far so good…. So, the game is really good! And I would go as far as to say, it is better than the first! There are some things, like the runes, that are not complicated, necessarily, but feel like one too many aspects to try and be on top of. I do also wish there was a way to augment the chances of receiving certain skills over others even if you had to grind for the ability to augment the skill chances. The real reason I felt motivated to write this review however is one, arguably pedantic, detail that I would really love to see changed- in the level, “Crystal Altar” the center of the floor features a Star of David, when I am almost entirely certain it is supposed to be a pentagram. This is a supper common oversight but as I understand it, those things are definitely not interchangeable.
Seriously addictive.. Usually I find games like these are riddled with ads and are a play to win cash grab. Luckily, however. This isn’t the case. Gems which give you access to some of the better gear in the game through chests are pretty easy to come by provided you’re consistently on logging in and playing everyday, and they’re quite abundant as well. In 4 days of playing, I’ve gotten over 8000 gems just by clearing dungeons and doing the optional challenges. I have yet to spend a single penny on this game. Super good stuff.
Money Grab. I played the original Archero game until I got gatekept by the game becoming near-impossible to progress through without spending money. Well, Archero 2 is no different. The game so very generous with gems, you’ll get the impression that you’re getting all kinds of great gear and progressing quickly, then you’ll get stuck. The game quickly progresses to bosses that will kill you in a single hit and chaotic/impossible rooms of monsters. On top of that, some of these game modes require “tickets” to try an attempt, so if you run out of tickets because the level is near impossible to beat, you’re expected to spend gems or buy in-game loot packages to progress after you get sick of being stuck. These game modes also gate keep you from progressing in the standard adventure mode, so you just get stuck without being able to progress. Don’t waste your time, this game is a money grab, don’t be fooled into thinking it’s a “real” video game like Archero 1 almost was.
Game opens when I click on an internet link. Enjoying the game thoroughly but when attempting to click on an Internet link, someone sent me in iMessage the game opened every time I clicked on the link. I googled to see if this was a common problem with other games. I’m not sure why this is happening or what bug is causing this. This happened even if it was a different link in a different chat. It happened in Messages, WhatsApp. When I went to my iPhone settings for chrome as my default browser this app somehow was set to open by default. Unsure why this is the case but this makes me suspicious of the app and whether or not it’s attempting to do something fishy with my internet on my phone.
Well made. I think this is a really good sequel to Archero. There’s two reasons for not getting 5 stars. First, the devs create barriers and place enemies behind the barriers that lob projectiles, however, due to the lobbing mechanic and closeness of your character does not allow for you to dodge if you are coming around the corner to get line of sight before you instantly get hit when the enemy fires the attack. The other issue is the rune chest. I do not believe the graphics are accurate to the mini game. I have avoided the center tile of the chest many times in a row but ALWAYS seem to get both keys before i can open every tile to get the best bonus. I suspect this mini game rolls individual chance per tile for the key to appear instead of it being random placement. This game feels very very similar to a casino slot machine that makes you feel like there is skill or chance involved but the company suppresses the likelihood that you can open all 9 tiles to get the max reward.
Let's say you want to play a game --. Would you want it to be the same thing every time? With little variety other than the money you spend between missions? No, it wouldn't. Instead of focusing on actual gameplay integration and new ideas on how to freshen everything up, every week is another way to pull money from you. Every level is an opportunity for you to want the next big things and the curve is steep after level 20 or so. I've just passed level 27 on my account and Stages 20+ are immense. When the biggest clan in the game is literally labeled 'Ego', it says a lot about what it takes to actually get good at this game. Overall good time killer, hella graphics, and potential at skill variation and gear stats. Gaining all these things is the real grind, but if you really wanted to focus and get good at this game legitimately, you can. It just will be eons slower then people with money.
Archero is sketchy. What are they running from in archero 1 that’s not in archero 2? It’s the literal same game, the only real difference as of launch, is that the graphics are different. As soon as you get past the first level, what happens? You unlock the shop!!! Oh wow, sounds great right? Nope! You also unlock forced advertising that they previously hid during their tutorials, but that which then plague the game, because it’s archero guys! It’s a pay to win, scam game. Nothing about this 1000% increase in hidden difficulty, designed to manipulate and frustrate your kids, is ethical. Yet, the Apple Store continually spews out games just like this, which aren’t even real games, but money making schemes designed at being aimed at your children to then take from their parents.
Later levels. The game was fun to casually play at first but the farther you go the more impossible it gets to progress without waiting days to be able to upgrade gear. Ive been stuck on levels for days because the amount of enemies and the damage they do is way too much which makes it impossible to dodge. Even with perfect builds i cant beat the levels because they become way too tanky. Getting two tapped by anything and making it so that i cant force specific rolls like a re-roll or something is really annoying i have a gem that makes main weapon abilities more common but it doesnt matter because you cant pass any stage without perfect rng and even then youll still lose. Meteor swords and potions and circles are basically useless (except for some potions) if i start a run and dont get a good ability the run is dead because you wont survive. Im not the best at dodging but that doesnt mean being trapped by 30 projectiles is okay. Rune abilities that are for anything but main weapons is bad because their the only viable ones. Lower the health, damage, and amount of enemies on later levels and ill change for now dont even bother playing.
Great game! Weird bug(?). I remember playing the original Archero way back in the day and loving it, so when I saw Archero 2 was coming, I was counting down the days. Needless to say I am very pleased with the final product. The classic arena gauntlet gameplay is back with some fun new leveling abilities and some nice quality of life improvements that make it both feel old in the ways it should and new in the way it needs to be to justify a sequel. After all the praise, you may be wondering why the review is only 3 stars. Not sure if this is a bug, but once I unlocked guilds, I was excited to create one so my friends and I could work together toward a common goal. I created a guild and sent off my guild name and ID to my friends, but they were unable to find the guild. I even tried deleting my guild and trying again, and still no luck. If any developer reads this and can offer a solution, I would love to hear it. Without this as an issue, the game is a perfect 5 stars for me.
Honestly - best game on the app store. I played the original SO SO much and eventually got bored - not bc of the content but thw amount of time I put in and because I stopped playing a bunch of mobile games… THAT BEING SAID, this game is seriously the best on the app store from my perspective. The gameplay is not overwhelming but still has some challege. The replay ability is amazing due to the amount of different configurations you have. It’s a chill game to play when you need a mental break or just to pass time. I love most of the updates to this new version, but i will say there is slightly too much going on the main screen sometimes. That gets overwhelming and I would love to see it simplified, or at least the option to not participate in the many banners etc. doesnt change my opinion of the game, for real…. Download it. :)
A Fresh and Thrilling Sequel!. Archero 2 has exceeded all expectations! From the first moment I started playing, it was clear that this sequel takes everything great about the original and cranks it up a notch. The new features, such as cross-server player chats and a ranking system, add a fun layer of competition and community. The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are vibrant, and the challenges are as engaging as ever. The addition of 3-star chapter challenges keeps things interesting for seasoned players. If you loved the original Archero, this is a must-play! Great job, Habby!
Good game/pay to win tho. Very heavy in the pay to win area. You can’t pass certain levels without paying for the boxes to get better items. And they give you a very small amount of loot to be able to even level or upgrade. 30 energy only with 5 per play… really makes you wait even though you’re already waiting for better items to begin with. If this isn’t pay to win idk what is. Would be a lot better if there was more than waiting to get enough gems to buy boxes to possibly get something that would be useful. If you wanna waste time this is definitely that. Different challenges for different chapters is nice though.
Very fun, but absurdly unbalanced. I love the gameplay mechanics of this game. I think it is better than the first in almost every way. However, locking the main mission stages behind the sky tower levels is really holding this game back. The main mission stages are absurdly easy compared to the ridiculous difficulty of the sky tower. Plus, the skills you unlock or terribly unbalanced. It is literally impossible to beat the sky tower without tracking arrow. If you don’t have it by the 2nd round, you might as well back out. Just very frustrating, and the fact that every monster 1 shots you is just a very not fun way to increase difficulty. It feels cheesy and lame.
Fix you game. The game is decent but the main problems I’m having are that the enemies can spawn and shoot at the same time, if not then with milliseconds for delay and it’s especially painful when they spawn right under you but then spawn too fast for you to notice, also another problem and its not with every enemy but some of the projectiles the mobs shoot are too fast for you to dodge and especially when there’s multiples of them, and for the final problem I have its the amount of damage the enemies do, they can kill you in 3-4 shots depending on the health you have and it forces you to then prioritize the health upgrades over the ones you can make combos with that make the game fun in the first place, and I totally get if the purpose of these are to make the game challenging but its at the cost of fun and the game is honestly rage inducing
A “cash grab” sequel to a once very good game.. I played Archero 1 quite a bit and really enjoyed the game as a whole. Sure, there’s always micro-transactions to speed up progress, but it was exciting to see your character power up over time and overcome new levels. The sequel is a big bright SPAM of “offers” and deals to get people to spend money. Every page you click a “new one time offer” smacks you right in the face. They added all these additional mini games to attract your money further. Arena? Come on, you could have done something with PvP but instead it’s auto fighting and just another box you have to click when you log in. If you look at the leaderboards, you’ll notice people who have used their credit card to progress.
Archero 2 is the best game on the app store and always will be.. I originally played archero one and i personally loved how much customization there was along with how you could upgrade your character to become so overpowered! I especially loved how unlike most games on the app store, Archero has always been forced add free and only has clickable ads to continue your game, which I don’t mind with how much I love the game. Now Archero 2 brings a newly improved and much more powerful feel to the game that I love even more. Thank you for your wonderful work and dedication clearly put into this game that players like me will always appreciate. Please continue to update and add content the game!! Best ever!!
Suggestions. I love this game so far. i’ve got all epic gear at level 20+ and good artifacts. The formula is very similar to the first game but with a LOT of really nice updates, although gems and chest keys never feel plentiful enough, and despite being sorta riddled with micro-transactions to get those gems and chests, it’s a very fun game as a free to play. BUT the only thing i really really think we’re missing is a skill or option that lets us reroll our level up or angel skills. I just came from a game to write this review actually, sometimes you’ll get stuck with three really bad perks that can completely ruin the perk build you already have. (for example i had a staff with ricochet and wall bounce, and the diagonal shots, so it was a super strong beam that went across the entire area. but then i leveled up and ended up chosing the short range strike, and now the laser beams can’t leave the area it creates, keep in mind this was arguably my best choice.) obviously i just kinda nerfed myself and it’ll be alright cuz you’ve got 30 energy which means 6 tries for each map. But i really think a perk rolling refresh would be an incredible add on and update to the game. Thanks for reading this and great job on the game so far!!!
Money road blocks. I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks. I loved it…until today. I passed level 27 in the campaign. Went to start the next chapter and was stone walled by a message that said “Clear chapter 27, Clear sky tower 250”. Why would you tie progress in the campaign to something else? I know why, because you want to try and get people to pay to progress. I’m only at tower level 200. So now I have to get through 50 more levels in something I don’t care about to progress in the campaign? It’s nonsense. Some of this is not all directed to Archero, this is anger toward the entire “pay to play” versions of games we are all subjected to today. Charge me for a good game and let me progress. Have a trial so we can see what we’re getting. These games are absolute money pits. I’m not somebody that wants something for free, I understand these developers spend time and money to get these games to us but, I’ve spent 20 on this game so far and it just feels like the longest grind sometimes to pass one level. Which is why I’m upset at the fact you are tying progress to multiple things that have no connection. You said there are over 200 million players that have downloaded this game. If you charged 4.99, with the same number of player downloads, it would be almost a billion dollars in revenue…it just feels like greed at some point. Done with this game, enjoy my 20.
Guild System. I loved everything about the old game and this one the graphics are great and the game feels very similar to when I first played it. The only problem I faced was finding my friends and adding them to my guild. We used to compete all the time back in the day and wanted to see a better system of pvp and clan building. The guilds seem very basic and there’s a bug that can’t search them up. If they made them more of a community where you can talk and compete with your guild mates then face off other clans then it would be a really great game. As of right now it’s a good time skipper game but it definitely has room for improvement with developing a fan base.
thanks for making this dawg🙏. Archero 2 is honestly such a fun game. It takes everything that made the first one great and makes it even better. The controls are smooth, the action is fast-paced, and it always keeps you on edge as you dodge attacks and pull off cool combos. The new abilities and better graphics make it feel fresh, and there’s so much variety with the weapons and characters that you’re always finding new ways to play. Whether you’re just looking to kill some time or dive into something challenging, Archero 2 totally delivers.
Pretty darn good. 1. Some of the weapons have useless upgrades, or upgrades that would be a plain downgrade. For example, when using the wand, getting the lazer upgrade just increases your reload time (reload?). 2. Also, showing the current stats of the player would be awesome. On that note, fixing some weird things about firing times (I once got a very high attack speed, then got an attack speed upgrade. I was excited to have a gatling wand, but the attack speed just didn’t increase) 3. Making it easier to get different characters though shards would be nice. Also, getting shards for characters you have could be made easier. I have 3 character shards, which are doing me about as much good as a deaf bat.
Such a good game but please fix some of these things for longevity… for us players who actually enjo. Please make the PvP arena manual, and maybe make it so everybody has the same health, because it’s really unfair… this option is basically unavailable to play if you aren’t a whale… for players who actually enjoy the game, and are willing to spend money, this will set you off from the game… more ideas, maybe add manual raid bosses, in which the bosses health is an average of your squads power or whatever, or yk make it fair… just overall add more effects, more skills, maybe a shuriken weapon? Feel like it fits the vibe… I understand as a corporation you have to make money so you target the whales yk… but how about the rest of the players, who aren’t whales, and are willing to spend money, but kinda just quit because what’s the point I’m not a whale…. All of this potential income you’re losing, and a great portion of your player base… just think about it plead

good concept bad game. it looks and sounds fun but after a little everything will two shot you no matter what. horrible balancing it's not fun
Archero 2. Good 👍🏻
Need iPad version. Good game but very poor control on iPad
Almost perfect. Love this game! Played the first one heaps. Would love it to be a game i can play offline, as where i spend a lot of my time, reception is spotty, meaning i simply cant play as i always need to be connected.
Good but…... Love the game but the revive rune is still to powerful and it needs a change because when you vs the people with one you still get beaten even though there power strength level indicates much lower. Also it’s just about impossible to get one so it seems very unfair not to have one. Please increase the drop rate
Amazing. Hands down one of the best games I’ve played to date!!! Ignore what people say about money it’s perfectly fine to play without money and you can progress quickly!! The game is still new but they are adding new things constantly!!!
Archero 1 is so much better than this garbage. ^
So far so good.. Downloaded this game yesterday, and I actually prefer it over Survivor.io. It is a game that actually requires some skill, and it’s not that type of game where you get one overpowered ability that carries you through the level. Sometimes it can be a little frustrating when you have to grind to get better equipment, but at least it’s not too boring. If you’re looking for something new, try this game out.
Pretty good really. I’m not a fan of most iPhone games. The way they structure them with ads is pretty infuriating, but this game has genuinely really good gameplay and I am ok watching the occasional ad to support the development team considering the game is free. Would I prefer if the game just cost $8 and no ads: yes. But here we are. The problem with this game is the need to pass sky tower levels to complete the main story. It’s kind of ridiculous and stops me (and most likely others) from playing the game more. I note that another reviewer had the same complaint, and the reply from the developer was: “When levels are too easy, the game might become less interesting. Our goal is to provide players with a challenging experience that allows you to feel the joy and sense of achievement after passing levels”. This reply is nonsensical as the complaint doesn’t revolve around the level of difficulty. It revolves around a restricted amount of sky tower missions that are playable per day, and therefore restricts the amount of main levels that are playable per day. I’m assuming the real reason is to “encourage” players to spend in-game money in the hope they will pay real money for more in-game money. It’s not a well balanced system though and I think will result in people playing less, which is the case for me. I would recommend the developer reevaluate this mechanic as it seems to a) frustrate players, and b) make them less money as people will play it less. ✌️✌️
Great game. Amazing game absolutely love it although I haven’t purchased any of the in app purchases because it seems like you aren’t getting much at all for your money and you might aswell grind for it instead . I hope they lower prices so you get more bang for your buck then I would actually be spending money on this game .
Many Bugs needs to be fixed. After ad, no sounds. Paused game not available restart, annoying error.
Great game but needs a report system!. This game so far has been much better than the first and I always find myself playing. However the entire experience is kinda ruined when I see people spamming the world chat with racial slurs or people joking my guild with the literal N-word as the name tag. I feel it’d be good to have a report system or atleast ban those with these type of names.
Good improvement on original. Feels way more balanced than original game. Can actually avoid attacks instead of having to rely on paying for upgrades to turn the character into a ‘tank’. Plays more like an actual skill game to avoid attacks and make clever selections on the skill upgrades. Good improvements. However, does have a major flaw that limits game play per day. The main game is ‘linked’ to an event that requires you to pass the event at certain levels to open more levels of the main game. Limited opportunities each day and one ‘death’ - no respawn. Devs have responded previously to suggest game play gets boring if it’s not challenging. You know what’s MORE boring? Having to close the game and wait until tomorrrow! Overall, a great follow up to Archero. Will be outstanding when they delink the main game and the events. Until then, it’s an okay game.
Great game!. I am currently enjoying the game a lot! I am however stuck on level 9 (I’ve cleared it twice) and it’s not unlocking level 10 I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or level 10+ aren’t available yet.
BGM stopped. BGM always stops after watching ads
Ight but not great. The first one with the format was cleaner and much more fun, this one was more of a name connection then a fun way to experience the first game 7/10
different game mechanics. My thoughts on what they should add in archero two: Dungeons: Players explore a huge map finding different loot, random chests around the map, some being protected by puzzles or higher rated loot by bosses (epic gear). The dungeon could be huge and either be on a weekly cycle where it switches to a new dungeon. re-fix sky tower: some players have been talking about how the sky tower is taking away the main story and you have to mainly focus on getting higher in the sky tower then actually focusing on the real chapters. Some how this could be fixed? Friends: Be able to add friends and give small daily gifts to each other a day?
Needs Better Optimisation With IPads. Currently using the 11” IPad Pro M4 and I have to reach my thumb over quite a bit to move my character, about an inch or more of screen missing around the perimeter of the game. Needs bigger resolution to avoid the jaggered edges of all objects and characters in the game. Played the first Archero on iPhone since 2020, and I would have to say the first is a lot more challenging, but a lot of perks and upgrades etc. Both games are great, but would like to see this game better optimised on bigger devices like the IPads. Was going to rate 3 due to the fact that I keep dying because my thumb isn’t on the “games screen area,” but I’ll give it 4 since it’s a decent game. Coming from someone with 24 years of gaming experience, and who owns a high end gaming PC & racing simulator for AAA titles & competitive sim racing. Keep the updates coming. Would like to see the game progress. Ps. All those saying the game is pay to win, you have a skill issue. 😂
Amazing, but has problems.. Compared to Archero 1,this game has insane art and lighting and the quality of gameplay is amazing. However this game does happen to be harder than Archero 1 in some aspects and some aspects of the game are left out,but I assume that’s just because this game is still fairly new. Also,on iPad,2/3 of the screen are left out and only the middle third displays the game, the rest is left blank.
Fun but some adjustment needed. I enjoy this game a lot and think there are a lot of cool improvements from the last game. However I still think they have some issues with balance. In particular some of the levels in chapter 21 become impossibly hard to defeat with monsters having so much health and doing so much damage that you die within 2 shots sometimes.
Cant disable sounds untill late. As title states
Pay to win. Don’t bother unless you’re prepared to blow heaps of money to progress once you pass early to mid game basically impossible
Money > skill. Seems like boss/levels are impossible to beat without proper gear, skill doesn’t count. Levelups are weird, too many, too random, impossible to build on one talent
Fun game but one thing is wrong. Hi great game and very fun! But one issue is one of the daily quests requires you to recharge any amount and that means to spend actual money to complete a daily quest. Why would you implement that? That needs to be removed immediately or allow you to complete that daily quest by recharging by buying the coins with your gems not buying gems with real money. A daily quest shouldn’t be stuck behind a p2w. Thank you
Sky tower is an issue. Sky tower is an issue in a sense that it’s limiting players from enjoying the main chapters and progressing, forcing players to pay for attempts. This leaves a very sour taste in people’s mouth and not a good look for the game when players reach levels where the requirements for sky tower are made. This isn’t a skill issue, this is a greedy dev issue. However the game is super polished and enjoyable
Bussin. Goes so hard bro. Is a bit rough that you reset progress to change servers. But so fun
How is there no offline play. The only ‘online’ aspect is chat and purchases. Make your game offline. Its a newgen version of the first game with slight changes and new abilities, but i must have internet to play? How
It’s a vibe 100%. This is definitely pay to win if you want it to be, lots of money spending options but if you want a fun game it’s awesome. Varying game modes for pve stages keeps it fresh as you progress and there are heaps of free ways to get stronger. You’ll never be op like the whales but if you just enjoy playing your game it’s awesome. I haven’t touched pvp yet. It’s a nice upgrade from archero 1.
just play. kill time
Pay to win. Heavily pay to win game
Tons of fun so far…. I’m just worried that the equipment upgrade mechanics will eventually lead to the player having to make a permanent decision on what type of build they want. I’d love if there was a way to be able to change it up later to try different ways to play. (KEEP IN MIND I haven’t played for long so if there is a way to do that then, great!) I’m also concerned that the amount of loot required to level up equipment will eventually get so high and feel so tedious that I will get sick of playing it. I’m having tons of fun playing it though and I really like it so far :)
Great game. Great game! I am having a lot of fun, the only thing that I’m not happy about is having to complete sky tower floors to continue doing the main chapters. When I run out of sky tower attempts I can’t do anything else on the game! So I have to just wait until the next day to play again. This is made worse by the levels being so RNG focused with abilities matched with weapons and the fact that you can’t revive in sky tower levels. It can be quite frustrating knowing that you had the wrong weapon for the abilities given. Please look into changing this system so I can keep grinding the main chapters while I wait for sky tower attempts or make a way of earning sky tower attempts without having to spend gems.
Really addicting to play. This is my opinion but, Archero 2 is more addicting than Archero. And I don’t know if it’s because it’s a new game but I really like it better than the old one 10/10 recommend to play this❤️
Review. Only major I issue is there always needs to be internet to play
Money grab. This one has a way faster drop off point than the first one, fun game but way too many pay items. Just once i would like the see a game that actually rewards play time over pay time. But not from these guys 👍🏻 get more power, still can’t kill things, get more health still get two shot. Then lo and behold a pop up add for items costing in the hundreds of dollars….. 100% pay to progress and any review that says it isn’t is paid for also
Can’t get new weapons. So far the game has been good and fun but I seem to not be getting any weapons. Are there any new weapons in this game. I’ve been using the bow and arrow since the beginning. Also haven’t seen one legendary gear.
Best game. Great game
Some bosses need a nerf!. Floor 248 needs a nerf, feel very stuck as I cannot play chapter 28 until I pass floor 250! Therefore almost impossible to progress in the game. Other than that really great game and I’ve had no other issues.
Ok game but needs improments. Honestly it is painful that the guild quests and Seal Battle are exactly the same. It is ridiculous that we have to repear exact same and boring game mode five times a day.. Maybe consider getting something new for guild quest or reduce to one each but with more chances to get better results and only the highest score will be recorded
Trash game i’ve ever played in my entire life. Trust me guys if you see this review dont ever ever ever try this fking trash game this game is so trash to the point of no return

🎉🎊🎉🎊. Clean upgrade
Disappointed!. This one is a mess up. Don’t like it at all. First one is far better than this one!!
The game is fun but I prefer the first. I do love the abilities and feel as if they are creative. I just wish that the energy bar didn’t go down as fast or make the cool down to gain energy quicker. With the first game it just feels hard to actually become better without spending money. I like how their is a noticeable increase in skill while you play the second but still I don’t think upgrading and getting new weapon's is as easy as it should be in both.
Stick with the original!!!. I spent a a few days playing this, hoping to love it as the original. But the entire user interface is so bad! First, gear upgrades are a mess, chest opens all the keys, the game play is sooooo slow! I don’t want to spend 5-10 minutes each round and I don’t want to play through 50 stages EVERYTIME! I really hope they keep supporting archero 1, because this will be the end of archero with archero 2… what a mess!
Stick to Archero 1. Is it possible to get the devs in fired for not adding a visibility feature and maming it blatantly pay to win. They have projectiles that SPAWN IN YOUR FACE. Keep in mind those projectiles take all your hp unless u pay to win. Also put black projectiles on black floors while spawning on your position and don’t even give you a chance to dodge. Seems they’re punishing good players giving them the finger if they don’t pull out a credit card.
big improvement in my opinion. People aren't a fan of the new style but its supposed to be a fresh feel to the game, i love the new scaling the size of the arena and the size of mobs and the player makes the game feel more like the bullet hell game it should be, i really thought there would be an offline option for the game when it asked to download resources but i guess not, the new range of abilities off the bat is vast which is great and really adds depth compared to the original game that always felt a bit light. nice work devs.
Pretty good. The game is good it reminds me of when I used to play the original archero but please add more characters
Junk. As soon as you get close to level 100 in sky tower its crazy slow and you have to spend money to advance or maybe watch 5 videos a day for months.
Not balanced. The game is really fun, until you reach around lvl 100 of sky tower… WAYYYY too hard for what you have and the way you can’t progress regular chapters without doing the sky tower makes no sens, balance the game or you will lose ALOT of players
Pay 2 Win. Another typical hyper pay 2 win game by habby, cant even compete in pvp against wallet warriors who are already maxed out even since the launch of the game. Not to mention the events who are even bigger cash grabs, its impossible to complete an event fully without spending money. A waste of time.
P2w. Strictly a pay 2 win game filled with ads to spend money to progress further in the game. Can’t complete levels without the need of gems.
Tablet. On tablet iOS we can’t get full screen
Difficulty too artificial. The first Archero had similar issues but they’re very prominent in this game. Max health and damage upgrades don’t feel like they do anything since enemies scale with you throughout the level. The scaling feels like it needs to be fixed because by the end of a level I feel like my damage is 4x the amount I started with but enemy health and damage feels like it’s 30x more. What’s the point of upgrades for health if one fast moving, wall-bouncing, player tracking, near invisible projectile is going to take 3/4 of the health bar. Serious balancing issues all around. Equipment doesn’t feel like it does anything besides look different and it doesn’t matter anyway because so many bosses have faster movement and projectiles making an awful experience. If the first Archero was a 3/5 at best this one is probably a 1/5 but I gave 2 stars since it looks and feels a bit better and some of the upgrades are creative and good.
Fix it please. The game currently is way too unbalanced. If you get hit ONCE your run is over. This also applies to the sky tower, the scaling just does not make sense for progression. Arena also has terrible ai where they just walk straight into orbs taking massive damage.
Re-reviewing, a pretty decent game.. My original review was at 2*, due to a mess up with the carnival event in game. The playerbase seemed to report the issue pretty quick, and the devs themselves fixed the issue pretty fast. I think maybe lost out on 5-20hrs of the event depending on the player. I applaud the devs for getting it done this soon, and have nothing but good things to say on that end. The game itself is pretty good, if you liked the first, you’ll prob enjoy this. The abilities are fun, and each run feels unique for the most part, especially when you start getting more runes. My only gripe, as always with mobile games, is it’s very P2W. Your personal skill DOES matter in the game, but nowhere near as much as just getting better gear/runes/artifacts, etc. which are all VERY expensive if you wanna spend. I’d say play the game, don’t spend, or if you do grab a couple $2-$6 starter packs, and leave it at that. Everything else is much too expensive to be worth it, especially in Canada. TLDR: Fun game, especially if you enjoyed the first. Most stuff in the game is way way too expensive to be worthwhile, so stick to a couple starter packs if u wanna spend & thats it.
Донат решает. Много людей донатят без доната будете в низу рейтинга , накопить под ивенты не получается , все ивенты под донат ( расстроила игра
Really Fun. Archero was meant to be very difficult. I remember when I played the first Archero, me and my friends would take a week to climb world/stage. This what made archero amazing. The new players are just blessed with many boost at the early stage. Keep up the work. Love it
Monster health. The monsters health scaling trough a level is way too much you deal good damage at the beginning of the stage and at the end of the stage even if you got really good upgrades you deal almost nothing which makes no sense.
Fun but they want your money. You can basically pay for everything, every aspect of the game is to make you pay. Like really EVERYTHING!
Another Grinding Garbage Game. I was really hoping that this one would improve on the last of the series. Don’t bother playing unless you pay money to get ahead. Grinding this game is slow and painful, not worth your time. you are dealing 5 damage where they can deal 500 per shot, as an example of the gap in “difficulty”
Bug.
Same problems as Archero but with more problems than before. Same problem as Archero, stats are either hidden or don’t update in real time while in a level. You can’t tell how much upgrades have hidden debuffs. New problem: within a level monsters scale with you. Which is such an unpleasant experience. You could start the chapter where monsters do 200 dmg and by the time you finish the chapter they are doing 6000. It makes no sense. Like the closer you are to finishing the level the harder it is. You get killed in 1 hit while at the start you can take like 10 hits. It’s just a terrible experience overall. Chapter progression tied to sky tower, which is already obnoxious and terrible but the fact you can’t even tank one hit in sky tower makes it so that you have to wait a long time for upgrades to progress in sky tower to even play a new chapter. If Archero was 3/5. This game would be 0.5/5 in terms of gameplay and progression. I wouldn’t mind if it was ptw but it won’t help when the monster dmg scales with you within the same chapter.
Rip Archero. The og is good enough this is not necessarily it just feels worse and less fun
Great game. Love the OG game this new one is just an improvement
Predatory Marketing. The marketing in this game is ridiculously predatory and is blatantly meant to exploit users/kids who don’t understand what they’re purchasing. Get a grip.
2/5. It’s a bit disappointing; the game is enjoyable but relies too heavily on stats. For example, with the runic ruins, statistically, there should be a 41% chance of finding the last key at the end, yet it never seems to happen.
Greatness. I thought Archero was good… archer 2 is way better!! Well done
carnival event. Pretty disapointed. I changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. There was still 4 days left to carnival event phase 1. I made purchase to be ab’e to finish it. Now the event is gone qhile there qas still 4 dats left…
Arena Battles. I feel like the battles are very unfair, there’s people that have 20k power, matched up with 100k power. I feel like you should also arrange battles in terms of power. Beginners should have an easier league.
👍. Pretty sweet
Impressed. For a mobile game I’m very happy with the result, mobile games these days usually don’t have work behind them and spams you with ads and pays, this game is different, really made a difference, I am clearest gonna play this a lot
Worst game ever made. After a bit i can say it is extremely pay to win or wait 3 month before being able to do another chapter. This is no fun
Too many too little. This game is fun but a bit blank. Too many boot drops and not a chance to farm the weapon you desire in 3 days. Also, too many different equipment which all have the same stats until you unlock the +1 fuse. Seems a bit pointless to my eyes. You should reconsider unlocking different stats earlier on. Also, after long game play, legendary and epic skills seem hard to unlock. If you start with green skills ,you are stuck with them for 4-5 levels all the time.
Reroll. When you pick three out of the abilities, if you did not like any of the choices, you should get a chance to re-roll at least once I think it would be really interesting and I had an extra piece of depth to your game
Good game BUT. it’s pay to win in late stages
Some bugs, overall still very good. For some powers they clash specific weapons or other powers and you lose access to them even though they would be really cool to have together, not gonna dock stars for review because still very fluent gameplay, no crashes (yet) and has a lot of potential I played the first one within the first week of dropping same with this one and I’m overall quite pleased so far (Edit) Bought the game-pass with some extra stuff told id get but didn’t get them gave a 5 star. Gonna dock it down till its fixed.
Great Game. I loved the first game and this one so far is just an improvement all around. So many quality of life improvements and immensely better graphics.
Very good👍. The game is very fun and addictive
whacky damage numbers. decent game but enemy projectiles do way too much damage, i’m just starting out but i shouldn’t lose half my health because i couldn’t see the enemies way too fast projectile, sometimes i don’t even have time to move out of the way because im hit by a bombardment of enemy attacks. and it seems like too many enemies have projectile attacks
Need auto complete. The game is fun but desperately needs a way automatically complete a level like in the first game.
please add this. this game is PEAK like 10/10 but i only have one problem with it, me and my friend can’t join a guild together and we found out why. we weren’t on the same server, i joined a new one but i started as new, now i went back to my old server and had my stuff but please make it to where your save transfers towards servers
Change the player shooting mechanic. Forcing the player to stop moving to shoot while having 20 different enemies firing projectiles that travel faster than the player can move has to be stupid. There’s an upgrade that allows the player to move and shoot but it should be default. Make it so that the player can shoots slower without the upgrade but can still shoot while moving.
Fun game but rigged. Its a fun game but they rig it so much that you lose alot to make you buy items to boost yourself. For example you pick up red hearts to gain more hp but then the enemy hits become stronger, so if you died with 4 hits before the hp boost youd still die with 4 hits with the new hp boost. Its so stupid lol
Needs better gear explanation. I was trying to understand how to play the game and ended up losing an s tier item thinking I needed both to upgrade. I could’ve had much better power had it been clearly explained!
Same as archero one with even more. Purchases $$$$$$$ Stage 11 needs a whole rework, they just were unoriginal with the stage and just cramed you in a tiny space while shoving walls of monsters that block your path AND shooting homing attack,. Basically the only way to dodge is to get it. Oh not to mention they make sure to give you buffs that don't synergize well together. Update, upon reaching level 13, it is ever worse, it seems the game is programmed to give you absolutely useless in-stage skills to be able to survive any sort of way, forcing you to grind relentlessly unless you pay $$$$$$ Edit number 3 now at stage 16-17 (the survival one)It is even more apparent that it is a cash grab and the in-game buffs they give is programmed to make sure you dont get want you need to beat the stage. Buff 1, strike sword. Buff 2, venom sprite, buff 3 lightning corcle, buff 4 mov speed increase, etc... and this is the best they give you out of 3 choices each time. Edit 4: terrible enemy attack/bullet design that are very often not noticeable through all the junk on screen AND including enemy that appears directly on your character. "Hey lets put a green attack on a green background to make sure it is absolutely not noticeable and let's make sure enemies can spawn directly on the character so they don't get a chance to react and get damaged teehee :)"
Gets Boring & Repetitive. Was fun for the first week but then it started feeling a chore to complete daily tasks.
Was better until recently. Add model changed so that the “free” rewards need you to watch adds you need to click 5 times to get out of. Don’t waste your time.
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Amazing game better then the original. I played Archero 1 when I was a kid and this is everything that was but with better looking things that are less blocky and smoother and it has most of the same abilities except has new ones too and a all new characters (the only thing we’re missing from the old game is the ability were 2 shields would spin around you right next to you. I would also recommend Archero 1 if you have finished most of the boards and have maxed out gear and are waiting for a new update because it’s still a good game that is being updated and worked on.
Much of the same. Still a great game, I love these upgrade type of games, they are my bread and butter. One big thing I am meh about is the amount of little things on the menu screen like the daily rewards, carnival, tasks, level upgrades, etc. it takes like 5 minutes to claim everything lol. That said, everything else is very similar to the 1st game. I am not far into the game yet so maybe I’ll update this later. By the way, I like how it is F2P friendly!!! Never change that! Also the ads are at a perfect level!! Good job with that :)
Awesome! …but. I love the game, I’ve been playing it daily for about a month now and have been enjoying it so much that I bought the ads removal because it wasn’t a ridiculous price($10+) and a couple of $1 packs that give you stuff daily. It’s not Pay2Win. I love the Action Roguelike genre (think Vampire Survivors) and this is a very solid game in that genre. My main gripe is with the Arena(automated PvP battles). There are too many factors for determining who will win the fight that are not explained. I have more “Attack Power” than someone and yet I lose because they had either an armor bonus, a revive rune, a rune bonus, etc., etc. I can spend an arduously long time checking ALL of their gear and stats before a match but then why make the Combat Rating number so prominent? Other than that, it’s a very solid game worth your time that you can play in short bursts or longer if you wish. I highly recommend it. Also, please keep some of the events active longer because they are really fun!
Good game once again ruined by microtransactions. At its core, Archero is nearly a perfect mobile game. It’s quick to pick up, it’s fun, there’s progression, etc. It has the same flaw most other mobile games have. It’s hard to enjoy the fun when the game is constantly pushing microtransactions in your face every second. Imagine doing your favorite hobby, let’s say bird watching, but there are 10 guys always around you trying to sell you better binoculars or convincing you if you spend money, they can show you even rarer birds. It doesn’t prevent you from watching birds, but it sure does ruin the experience.
Zero chance these other reviews are real…. It’s a fun game - but, it isn’t a game. The game gives you enough to do for an hour of enjoyment. After that hour, you better start paying - otherwise, there is literally nothing to do. There is no grinding to improve. You have to beat a bunch of maps and then do the tower. You can’t get S gear without dumping tons of money into the game. If you don’t have S gear leveled up, you just stop advancing after world 20-30. At that point, you just have to wait for your nightly events to reset to do arena and everything else. If you don’t pay, there is virtually nothing else to do.
CHESTS ARE A RIP OFF. I have a power of 200,000 and can’t even get past floor 375 because every chromatic chest you open only gives armor and I have opened hundred and hundreds of them and only gotten 1 crossbow. So it basically gives you everything except what you need a tier and you can’t damage the bosses like at all. Then this new even I spent $40 on keys and was only able to obtain 4000 of the currency for the shop and a crossbow is 12,000 so I would need to spend a minimum of $120 to get 1 more and I have probably spent $150 and only gotten 1 s tier weapon. That is comical. Also I should be able to play campaign as much as I want and not have to clear the stupid sky tower anyways it’s literally a JOKE.
Terrible game. First off there is no social chats for global and clans I made a clan and out of nowhere my clan leader ship was given to someone else that should not be the way if I don’t wanna be leader of my clan then that’s up to me not to the game to promote a random person second the last event with the demon character you don’t even give us a free token to unlock new character with beating all those stages clan chat is a must to communicate with your clan mates especially if your rank was stripped away By the game let’s not forget drop rates for characters is trash some you have to pay for and events can never be completed unless you pay to play sorry but the game was fun at first but it’s trash now want me to come back bring social chats for global and clans
One of the most fun mobile games. I love this game so much and you must have put a TON of work into this because this game is AMAZING the graphics and attacks 10/10 I love just getting a ton of orbs and then using the orb web and causing havoc to the enemies 😂 the game is really good and I just wanna make one request could you add like a smashing weapon kinda like the glove but a smaller range and every enemy within it gets damaged and it has like 1.5 cooldown for the smash you don’t have to but just a suggestion. Also keep on making this game better and better I can’t wait to see what you make in the future :)
Disgraceful Transaction Model. There are so many ways this game asks for you to spend money or watch an ad for loot. The monthly battlepass has three tracks; free, $10, $26. That’s $36 a month for the battlepass. There is a section called cards with including; as free ($10), lifetime daily bonus ($30), monthly daily bonus ($5), afk bonus monthly ($5), there are more than this. There’s a $10 level growth fund pass to get more loot for clearing the first 10 levels. The shop has daily, weekly, and monthly one time buys that go up to $100. The arena which is the only pvp I’ve seen so far is spectator mode. You watch ai battle your opponent based on your gear, no skill involved. The gameplay is fun, but it’s basically a single player game, no need to spend any money.
Scam and blackmailers. I have been player of this game since it came out and I’ve been playing the first Archero since it came out and I love the franchise so I decided support then by purchasing a bundle for one of the special in game events and a week later I noticed I got charged again for the same bundle so I contacted apple and Archero customer service. Apple refunded me then I got a in game notification from Archero that I got refund and that if I didn’t purchase the equivalent gems from there in game store my account would be banned so again contacted Archero customer service and they were not helpful basically told me that I received the bundle and that there was nothing they could do. I’m so disappointed that when I try to support them they repay me by banning my account
thanks for making this dawg🙏.
No support and no tracking. I have invested time and money into this game, and I do quite enjoy it. It’s a good game. My problem is that resources that I spent in the game, resources that cost me money and that were supposedly “guaranteed” to give me an artifact after a specific number of tries (I am speaking of the Wish feature, and how it gives you a guaranteed Mythic or Legendary item within 100 tries) gave me no such thing. I spent the resources over time required to hit that 100 mark, and the counter reset and gave me nothing. I used it again today with a coin I got in game, and the counter did not even register that I used it. I reached out to support twice, and received no response or help with this matter. That gives the impression that they do not care, which does not encourage me to keep supporting them or keep playing.
Addicting and fun but some flaws. As fun as it may be but as you get to higher levels it starts to become boring because you have to beat certain levels of Sky Fall Tower to continue on to the next map for Campaign and once you use up your 3 tickets for Sky Fall Tower you’re basically stuck playing nothing knowing that you can’t move on to the next chapter for Campaign. Not sure if it’s their strategy to try and get us to buy diamonds and spend on trying to level up our characters and such but I’m definitely not gonna be spending. Not feeling the same for this game anymore..
Beware! Not a viable f2p game. Listen, this game starts off fun—until you actually start progressing. That’s when the problems begin. If you’re playing for free, forget about it. They barely give you any gems to buy in-game items, and the only real way to earn more? Spend cash. Want to level up your character? Pay up or wait months. Want legendary gear? Same deal. Meanwhile, whales dominate every arena and seal battle, leaving you with scraps for rewards. The biggest issue? Scaling and leveling. At a certain point, it doesn’t matter how good your gear is, how much money you’ve spent, or how skilled you are—the game just stops letting you progress. Everything turns into a one-hit KO, and levels get locked behind a sky tower where if you don’t dodge everything, you’re done. And then there’s Tracking Eye—the one skill that dictates your entire progress. No Tracking Eye? Good luck. Trying to clear five levels in a row in the sky tower without it? Nearly impossible. I’ve reached the point where if I don’t get it in the first one or two spins, I just exit. This game could be great, but it’s held back by broken scaling, a paywall, and ridiculously limited resources. I regret ever playing or spending money on it, and honestly? Just skip this game altogether.
Energy system is a bit overrated. The game is amazing and from what I can tell it is exactly like the ads but there is one thing that I don’t like, the energy system. Lots of games use the energy and it’s starting to get a bit overrated and annoying because I’m having a good time playing until I don’t have enough energy to keep playing which annoys me when I have to wait to get more energy. In conclusion it would be less annoying if the energy system was removed but overall amazing game keep up the good work.
Decent but not great. The actual gameplay and style are really nice along with the skill system. The main issue i have is that gear leveling odd a nightmare and any game where i have to spend money to achieve the honest purpose in events are just so irritating. Like even if i had to watch some videos or something that would be fine but not being able to get some of the stuff unless i buy a pass out just purchase that ever is required makes me not want to participate. Like i understand now getting all of it but i should be score to get all least one of the opens that is the highest value.
Fix sky tower lvl 350. Edit:okay I take it back I just beat it 10 mins after I posted this. Good luck to anyone else who goes in on this lol Was having a great time with a game, spent $30 getting the daily gem package, all was going great. Well I’ve been stuck on a level (that keeps you from progressing in the rest of the game) for about 2 months. Same lvl hold up is all over Reddit, so it’s not just me- it’s an obvious pay wall from the developers, super frustrating. Now it’s incredibly boring because there’s nothing new I can do because of the blatant disproportional difficulty of this level.
Do not buy anything in game. Don’t waste your time or money on this game. The gameplay is repetitive, uninspired, and quickly becomes a boring grind. The developers clearly prioritize squeezing every dollar they can out of players instead of making a fun or balanced experience. The in-game purchases are ridiculously overpriced and offer little value, making it feel like the game is designed to frustrate you into spending money. The developers don’t seem to care about creating a quality game—they just want to trap players in a pay-to-win scheme. It’s obvious they’re more focused on profit than improving the game or listening to player feedback. Avoid Archero 2 and look for a game made by developers who actually care about their audience.
Good luck on later levels. Leveling system is broken. Early rounds it isn’t an issue but in later rounds, if you get hit once, you’re dead. It is completely disproportionate to the enemy you’re facing. Then there is the sky tower, which is incredibly dumb. Talk with your Business Development guy and sound it out to him why developers made it harder (and required) to complete those stupid levels instead of pushing more into the campaign. You obviously want people to spend their money right? How about you reward them for it! How does it make sense to have people spending money (like myself) for gems and other items, only to keep losing and it still be disproportional! You’re going to make people stop playing the game instead of continuing to play and spend money. The sky tower is stupid! What is the point of it? Why is it that you only get 3 chances to play it a day, but it is required if you want to advance in the campaign. Why is it that if you don’t play for a few days, you still only have 3 chances instead of the tickets stacking. Why is it that the only real useful perk is the “tracer eye”? If you want any hope to win in that stupid tower you need that. That is, unless you don’t get hit once and immediately die.
Not bad. This game really isn’t that bad and you honestly don’t have to buy a single freaking thing… it’s entertaining enough that I literally play it every day… been a long long time since I’ve found a game on iPhone that has actually been worth it… rewarding and not impossible to level up or keep progressing daily… obviously if you buy stuff you become overpowered very fast but like every game that is a gotcha or gatcha you can hit some stagnant walls which will make you want to buy stuff… again you really don’t have to. Fun game… wish things didn’t cost so much is my one big gripe… I’d rather buy a game once and enjoy it.
No variation in dungeons. When I discovered Archero in 2020 i was addicted and probably made it to level 27 on my old phone. Perfect mobile rouge-like. One thing I loved about it was the variation in stages and differences once i entered a new dungeon. The walls, traps, and monsters would spawn in different places according to those walls. Now there’s only 1 stage instead of 50 in each dungeon and it’s the same barren field with no traps or walls, at least the first 2 dungeons are. This game would be much better if it took inspiration from the first in this manner. Probably won’t continue to play this game as the first is more creative and feels like it has more life to it. MID
iPhone 16 Pro Max. I used to play the first game non-stop, and it quickly became one of my favorites. Now, with Archery 2, my expectations have been completely exceeded. I’m having an absolute blast! The game offers a vast array of combinations, skills, pets, and armor sets to explore, each adding unique strategies and styles to gameplay. I've only been playing for a couple of hours so far, but I can already tell that there is so much more to discover. Even when I lose a round, I don’t feel frustrated—instead, I find myself eager to jump back in and see what exciting challenges await me next!
Grand game overall tbh 10/10 Current Diamond player. I find the little magic swords you can summon really fun, especially tying them with combinations like the infused sword skill, making any elemental skills you have now attached to the little swords too! And you can turn them into DRAGONS HOW COOL IS THAT?!? You can make them shoot beams as well, making them lock-on snipers for any enemy, I was even able to create a “halo swarm” of them around me during a boss battle, I had like 100 of them around me! All let loose on the boss at once and he instantly died lol Grand game overall That’s about it See ya
I am so salty. After being stuck on chapter 11 for weeks I finally rolled for some really good skills and was absolutely crushing with them. Then, I encountered the Valkyrie who offers me 2 new skills. I could chose A: make my arrows ridiculously huge and reduce my rate of fire to near zero. Or B: increase my rate of fire and damage but reduce my range to near zero (effectively defeating the purpose of using a bow). Both options are terrible, I wanted to just skip the “skill choice” altogether, but you can’t do that. So I went with option A and immediately was swarmed by enemies that I couldn’t kill because it takes 6 business days to fire a single giant arrow. Archero 1 was so much better
LOVE ARCHERO. LOVE this game, first of all. I played the first Archero a ton and was so excited when this came out. A couple of things I do not like with this update is that it is a bit too cluttered. There are way too many events and popups in the game. They tried to cram as many MTX’s into the game as they could and its just not loooking good. I also hate that they force popup ads in the game for their MTX’s. I actually almost accidentally purchased because i was trying to get back to the main screen and it just slips in a popup for their paid content in the middle of the screen where you were just clicking - this seems like dirty marketing tactics and thankfully apple has you confirm. I understand the need to make money, just calm it down a bit. I updated the title and review to 4 stars after developer reply. I really do love this game - its literally the only mobile game I find fun. Hopefully there are further updates to clean up some of the above. Thanks!!!
Stats issue. While I do like the game and think it’s a more evolved version than the first one there are some small issues with it. The one that mostly comes to mind are the stats! They seem inconsistent and it’s like they don’t even matter in the game. The talent cards hold no weight and do anything. What is the armor even for it doesn’t have its own stats that’s also don’t help with anything either. While playing this game I’ve noticed with 18k health just 2 hits and I’m dead. How is that even possible. I literally have no defense stats and there’s no way to the stronger defense. Only one weapon seems to be the best one to use which is the bow and arrow. All the other weapons don’t do damage at all or barely. Like I said I do love the game and it’s fun but those are some serious issues that I can see becoming a problem for people and they might get to frustrated to play still. Thank you, I hope this helps -MC
Great game but P2W expensive!. The game is so much fun but I don’t understand why they have so many pay options at such ridiculously high amounts. Maybe people are paying $50 and $100 for some of these but I feel like if they lowered everything 75% they’d see a huge boost in sales and then kill it in volume. If you all read this, run this idea for a week, then compare it to the previous week. I’d imagine you all would be very happy with the results. Don’t do anything different with your current ad campaigns so you can truly see apples to apples. Regardless, the game is an absolute blast!!!
Deceptive pay model. The game itself can be fun for a few days. Maybe a week. Then the game becomes way too expensive to be able to advance. For example, the most recent update allows you to get a new hero. You have to get 400 hero tickets to get the new hero. In order to get that many tickets you have to spend well over $250. And that’s only for hero level 1. You can’t really get past game level 30 without spending a LOT of money. They also say the sky tower is to enrich game play experience by allowing the player to get resources. All it really does is limit how far the regular game goes. It is too difficult resulting in not being able to play more main levels. I say this as someone who bought a lifetime pass and several passes for a month to try and enjoy the game more.
sky tower is awful. I’m at the point where I want to progress more campaign stages, but I can’t until I defeat 30 more sky tower waves. This in theory is fine, because I can try to progress the sky tower, but in practice is absolutely awful. For free-to-play players, you get 3 attempts per day. If you fail all three (or 6 in my situation, as I bought the ad-pass), thats it. No more progression for the day. Close the game, no point in playing. My friends and I support the game with in app purchases occasionally but at this point we’re close to uninstalling. I understand sky tower is intended to be a progressive obstacle for the campaign, but its becoming a dreadful feature that I don’t look forward to. Seeing as there is no way to get runes shovels except events and the sky tower, the sky tower should be an incentive to get runes and runes alone, not a requirement to play the base game when you advance. Solutions? Remove campaign progression blockers (“Complete sky tower stage 450 to unlock…”) or Change the ticket system for sky tower (maybe you can get more tickets by completing campaign stages like quick-hunt-tickets instead of having to dump exponentially expensive gems)
Since Archero. "Archero 2 is truly an amazing game that takes the original Archero to the next level. The new graphics and gameplay mechanics make for an even more exciting and engaging experience. The ability to choose from a variety of characters and weapons allows for more strategic gameplay and adds another level of depth to the game. Whether you're a fan of action RPGs or just looking for a fun and addictive mobile game, Archero 2 is sure to deliver. I highly recommend giving it a try!"
GREAT GAME. Ive been playing this game now for 2 months and have been able to get to 128k power without in game purchases. This game has no adds that it MAKES you watch. You can watch adds for small gifts to help buy stuff but other than that, it's add free. I love how much there is in this game. Many different game modes and different activities that you can try and reach the leaderboard on. My favorite is The Tower. It's a tower that you are made to fight each floor and it gets harder as you go up it. There's really no problems for me with this game. It's a great game and I definitely recommend playing!
Game is ok but very greedy.. It’s a fun game I enjoy it more than the first game… the only issue you’re going to run into is how much you’ll have to grind … days weeks months to even come close to being on par with the whales who just buy thousands worth of gems for upgrades. Most of the weekly events are completely rigged for micro transactions so you have 0 hope of getting whatever they are offering as a reward for the event unless you spend hundreds of dollars. Sure you can go grind instances and log in every day to do a chore list of the same garbage everyday but at the end of the day you’ll never come close to the power level of some of these guys I’ve literally been playing since launch and cannot even fathom the amount of money some people have spent on this game..
