Good on computer, not on mobile.. Dear developers, This game is great, I love it. Just on mobile, mobile has such big controls that some times you flick off the platform. And how you look around? Don’t get me started, first off all, mobiles looking system is bad. You can’t even turn around with out falling. You have two looking chooses, and both are horrible. The VR looking on is if you want to die a lot cause you can’t control your character. Or go with touch, touch is the best so far. But still, far from good. I keep of flicking of the platforms on mobile. The moving and looking system needs a improvement. But still, this game is amazing, even on mobile it looks amazing! I love the way you guys made this game and I hope you keep updating it. So mobile, not suggested on this. Computer is a lot easier. Sincerely, A player

Love it. First off I love this game I love the comics the achievements the characters (my fav is Hazard btw) and I love the speed in the game. A few problems I have are these, first I have a hard time getting the controls to work. One time I used the controls and i didn’t move or anything. It could be that I was sweaty and my phone didn’t respond but it just stopped. Also I feel like when you get the pages it’s really hard because you have to find six pages in every map but it’s like a lil hard to find so I can’t really read it. Maybe like make 2 or 3 pages to find but like I really just wanna read the comic. That’s all so far I love it and I love the game. 😀

Ok but…. The game has so many levels and cool objects and art but I wish there were more levels and that the last level on each one is chase the sister it is so hard she moves so fast and there are no check points when you fall on chase the sister you have to start over and they really rub it in your face when you fall it shows with your palm pointing up at the sky and your fingers pointing up. When you finish a level if you did not complete it fast enough you have to redo it before you can to the next level it is so frustrating.

Hot lava great 👍. I love this game it has so many fun things to do and I am glad that there is a new update because I was getting bored I only have one complaint I can’t change my skin I am stuck in the same one, my sister has the same problem so I think that it is not just me. Other then that I think it is a great game I would have given it five stars but the skin thing through me off. I would still suggest for anyone to play this.

The best game on IOS. I got this game an hour ago and I’ve fallen in love with it! I love the first person running game feel. The controls are really good with the DualShock 4 and I suggest using a controller if possible🤩. I’m only on the playground world but I love the bouncy house level, I also think that the customizations can be so unique to you. Even though there’s not that much characters to play as, there is an absolute bucketload of helmets, wristbands, stickers, back packs, and more! Great job Klea 👍 👏! (Btw I am a huge fan of your other games, I love don’t starve. And if you’re reading this hot lava players, I highly suggest don’t starve and don’t starve shipwrecked.) 🥳

needs VR mode. I love this game but I think that it should have a vr mode that requires a game pad. there's already game pad support and you move your phone to look around so I think there should be a button you can press once you're already in the game that makes it so you can put it in a vr headset. this would make the game so much better so I really hope this gets added in.

Very fun, a few issues. This game is a lot of fun. I’ve played probably 3 hours of it. Love that random people can pop in and out of your game and it feels like you’re playing single player and multiplayer at the same time. Two issues though. Doesn’t play great on the Apple TV. There’s been a few times where it freezes for a few seconds and then next thing you know you’re in lava. Best experience seems to be on the phone with a controller (DualShock 4), probably iPad also, but I don’t have a current enough iPad to try on. One other thing, there needs to be a separate X and Y axis sensitivity. I turn it up so I can turn around faster, but it feels way too fast moving the camera up and down.

Good concept but the controls. Ok, so I’ve recently got the game and it’s pretty fun I do have to say. But the controls make the game a bit difficult, the thing is you look around by physicaly mixing your phone and there is no button just to move to the side and there is no easy way to look to the side as if you try to “rotate the view” you might overshoot and fall in the lava. I do really like games from keil entertainment but the thing all of the games of theirs I have played are just easier to play on the computer because of the controls, like for don’t starve, amazing game but because of how the controls are it’s just a but difficult to play.

Ummm. Okay so the concept of this game is actually really fun. It’s like the floor is lava, but on a phone. Fun, right? We all loved that game as a kid, why wouldn’t we like this? Well, for one, the into is super long, and on a tv you can’t skip it. And on my phone it was glitching to I couldn’t skip it, I had to watch this whole cheesy 10 minute video on it. And then it’s hard to control and the graphics aren’t great. So especially on a tv but also definitely on a phone or iPad or whatever, it’s so difficult to control. Not complicated, but difficult. And yeah, the graphics really aren’t the best. Not one of the best Apple Arcade games.

A magnificent game, although? Please Read. When I got this game it was the best game I ever played. Still to this day it is. Although when I first played the game I was able to play alongside my brother. Now it just doesn’t give me the option to play online multiplayer anymore. I tried uninstalling the app 7 times and I still didn’t get the online option. If you’re able to. Please get back to me so I can enjoy this fantastic game with my brother.

Hard but awesome. So I got this game and when I i opened it it looked cool the graphics are good but the bad thing is the levels why can’t you let us choose which one we want I have not got it yet but I want the basement level but I have to unlock it and you have to turn the iPad/phone to look I do not like that and make some new levels like outside or something please do so I would get it if I were you

Great game but a few problems. This game is super great! I downloaded this game because a friend recommended it to me I love it! It really is nostalgic and super addictive. However there is one or two problems that I can’t quite get past in order to actually play the game first of all in the video they make it seem so easy to jump from place to place and slide on the slime walls but really in reality it’s quite hard to jump slide and do all of the cool stuff that is done and videos. Also there are levels that just don’t make sense I don’t know if it’s a glitch but no matter what I do I can’t get to get past the meat grinder level. the wall is literally blocked off it’s impossible to reach anything and the other worlds are super cool but it’s hard to collect anything in there except for mysteries which is kind of lame. Thanks for a great game and if you could fix these problems I think it would be the best Apple Arcade game.

Great game but problems. I started to play hot lava and I love it so far but I do think it is a little hard to play. One the girl or toy is a little hard to chase . And I think you should make this a online game and allow you to talk to people. And I think it would be more fun if it was online. And I think you should put some animals in the game. But i recommend this game to everyone. I gave it a five star rating because it is a great game. But sometimes it does have a little bit of glitches but it is a great game 😀

Great Game, Controller Recommended!. I downloaded this not knowing what I was in for but I couldn’t put it down! I’ve been playing this on my iPad (6th gen) and Apple TV (4K) using the a DualShock 4 and it runs great. It’s a bit of a “speed running” game. No conflict, just moving from one end of the stage to another. I enjoy the way the game encourages you to get faster and faster times, and slowly teaches you advanced techniques such a boosting and bunny hopping. It might not be for everyone but if you enjoy the type of game play where you slowly improve yourself bit by bit I’d highly recommend this - a controller is highly recommended however. Touch controls are decent but a controller feels natural.

Needs way more improvements. This game is fun but the physics are terrible the jumping is terrible everything to the controls. When I want to jump I have to stand still for about a second which is annoying when I need to keep going. This game is much more improving and if you could fix those controls to make it so you can jump continuously I would love that. Also we need a setting to make it so you can do different types of controls like joystick controllers. It is broken and hopefully most people agree with me I’m giving us a one out of five stars. Please can you make it so at least you can jam multiple times it’s fine if you keep the thing where you cannot have just please fix the jumping. I’m keeping the app where I’m not gonna play until the update is here. I am going on strike.

This game is AWESOME! 🔥. I love this game! When I first got it, I was pretty bad at it, but I practiced a lot and it’s super fun! I love how you can unlock and buy stuff to customize your character, and you can choose which character to play. I like the challenge of this game too. There are also many maps to play with many courses. This game is really fun to play, but you have to get used to the controls first. I play on my iPad, and sometimes you accidentally don’t hit the jump button when you want to. Overall, this is a great game and you should definitely get it! 💯 -✨🌀moo🌀✨

Incredible Visuals. This runs incredibly well on my iPad Pro at 60 FPS. It looks like a PC game you’d find on Steam, and the novel gameplay is perfect for wanting to burn through 30 minutes or be a couch potato for a couple hours. It still blows my mind how well this game runs on my IPAD that’s equipped with an Apple-made chip and no fans or no dedicated cooling. I’m convinced we’re living in the future. Thanks for the wonderful launch title to play, devs, keep up the great work.

Touch controls are absolutely horrendous. Riddled with glitches, no alternate movement controls. The current movement controls are the worst I’ve ever experienced in a game before. The forward and back arrows have huge tap radiuses meanwhile left and right have the thinnest tap radiuses I’ve experienced. Probably less that an inch of to trigger left/right movement. Also sometimes you just won’t jump, nothing blocking your character’s head or anything, but can’t even get off the ground at all after doing the animation to start a jump. Bad design, even worse controls. The premise is great, execution was the worst.

Perfect DualShock controller game. Touch wise no. This game started off confusing when I use my hands to play but not many people want to keep moving their iphone or iPad around just to look around. So I suggest connecting a DualShock 4 or xbox controller if you have one. Once you do that this game is fun and I always find myself trying to beat my next score. Seriously try it with a controller and it is a great game to play to pass time. Definitely would recommend.

Best game ever. I adore this game I absolutely love that you get to jump swing I also love that it’s always a blast to play especially when you Play in different places it’s a really fun game and I’ve always enjoyed it since I got it which was probably like 3 four days ago One thing I really wanna know about it is who made it❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉 my favorite level on here is school or maybe it’s playground or gym

Great way to get some time off your hands. I just got this today and I already feel like this is going to be my app game for a while, the graphics are decent and the gameplay is pretty good and the intro. Mmmmmmm The intros real good I love the 90’s vibe and then it plops you into the tutorial. It’s great. The levels start from easy or beginner as they call it to insane, which is the right term for that, The levels can be very unforgiving and I love it! Overall very good game! Continue to work on it, I would love to see new content added in and maybe more episodes of GAT maybe? Like you could find them in special levels or something overall recommend it

Hot lava is a great game but could be better. When I first found out about hot lava on my computer I was instantly hooked and was happy when I found out it was on the iPhone for Apple Arcade. But when you start to play the game you will notice some small issues that can get a little annoying. For one, my jump button sometimes randomly disables which can get annoying but pausing and continuing seems to fix it so it isn’t to bad. The second thing is the controls. As a game that I’m assuming was ported to the computer and with how much you can do the controls are actually really good, the only problem is that they are invisible half the time and I have to guess where to put my finger to jump instead of crouching and vice versa, but I’m sure a quick change by putting symbols or something to indicate certain features would make this easier. Other than that the controls are great and I appreciate the gyro controls since I play games like splatoon which made it feel similar to other games I play. Lastly is something small but as a 100% achievement person I’m a little annoyed about the “play on MacOS” and “play on TVOS” achievements since I don’t have those nor would buy them just for this game. All in all though this game is great and the little references to other klei games such as don’t starve and oxygen not included are awesome, keep up the great work!

Great game. I love this game once in the first time playing I went to a special area and a lava monster got me and I died and I yelled and laughed cause I got so scared that was really funny and scary and I went to the real area cause i didn’t want to be scared again and I did a lot of stuff and I was still thinking about it even in the other times playing and I was laughing thanks for reading this bye. 😎

I’m not new... Hello there, I am McKinley, one or two years ago, I started without a controller. When I tried to play, it just wouldn’t function. So, basically I… uninstalled it. But, I’m back now! The game has had so much progress, from not even playable to, actually pretty fun. I just started an hour ago but I need rest.. Thanks for improving this game. I really hoped you would one day. You changed so much things, and now.. it’s a freaking, masterpiece! Good job. I know, one day you’ll have millions, or billions of players, and when that day comes, I’ll be apart of this game. From an old friend.

Work so good with controller!. So I’ve seen Apple Arcade recommend this game to me so I decided to download it because it looks like it would be good and it actually was it was very fun but the controls were a little tricky so I decided to use my Nimbus plus controller and it works so great I haven’t experienced any bugs or anything my only downfall is that it’s kind of hard to complete all courses in a level but overall it is a very fun parkour game and I’m looking to see cool updates in the future!

Game plays great. Problem with controls. I feel like I’m fairly decent at this game already. No record winning times or anything but just feel like I’m decent enough. But I just recently wanted to try out the boost jump and idk if I’m missing something or not because there’s no strafing unless you’re on a controller? Like how am I supposed to move side to side when my only options are forward and back. Changing where I’m aiming mid air doesn’t give me any speed, nor does hitting perfect jumps

Love the game, one Issue. Hot lava has been a blast! i have been hooked since i downloaded it on the app store! there is one major problem though, once you get inside the school area, the game glitches and your character drifts to the right/left. it has been pretty annoying to go through the harder courses with this issue, please fix this soon so we can all go back to enjoying this fantastic game!

The parents, dude. Um…well, I love the art and the time it took to detail all the levels. don’t get me wrong, I love it. BUT WHAT THE FLUFF IS WRONG WITH THE PARENTS?!??!? One, you can hear them arguing on the basement level. Two, you can find bottles of BEER and ash TRAYS for smoking. IS THIS A KID GAME?! ARE YOU ISANE? Why don’t you just add O.J Simpson?!?!! That would make it better?! (I am so sorry right now I do truly love your work and I’m sure you worked hard on this and this might be based on your life but my DUDES!) Also, can you add some knock of FAMILY MATTERS? I want to see Steve Urkel up there,

Amazing mobile game but…. At first I thought this would be a crappy and a bad parkour game but I was very wrong. This game is amazing and the graphics and levels are beautifully made and very true to the 90s. My only complaint is there are a lack of levels after you’ve played for a couple of hours. Me being a completionist I like to unlock every item and beat every level but the fan made levels just aren’t fun in my opinion but the actual game levels are super fun. But if you have Apple Arcade and just like sandbox or parkour games then this one is an absolute must download it is so much fun by yourself but even better with friends.

Great! Just Hoping for Better Multiplayer!. Plays amazing on a Controller! I love how you let players change their keybinds, something You don’t find in many Mobile Games [*Coughs*, Minecraft]. The Multiplayer is just so strange. I can’t seem to get into the same server with my friend, but when he finished the map I was playing on, I saw his name as he “completed” the course. Everything else about the game is fun, smooth [Idk about the Mobile Controls] and the graphics are amazing for a mobile game [3 GB tho :/]! Just PLEASE add a way to do Multiplayer with Friends... Here’s some Ideas... 1. The Option to make a Private Room of up to 4 Players. 2. The Option to join a Game Center friend’s Server. 3. The Option to connect to a certain Server on the Game to meet friends on. 4. Split-Screen for up to 4 Players? This would be GREAT! These are just recommendations from someone whos coding knowledge is very limited. Just please, this is the only thing stopping me from falling in love with this game...

Great game but could use a few more things. So I have a few suggestions, So you know how there are things that you can put on your arms and chest or back? Well I was thinking that there could be things that you can put on your legs like how there is laser Night helmet and blue laser blade and laser Night armor, There should be A laser night accessory that can go on your legs etc. it would make the game a whole lot better

AWESOME GAME!!!. I love this game!!! I couldn’t get my controller to work the first go around, but now it does and IT’S SO FUN!!! It gives that little cheesy Mirror’s Edge feel to it, but that’s not the point. The point is, it’s awesome, and I’m rating it 5 stars now. Great job at making such an amazing parkour game! I used to play “Floor is Lava” all the time when I was a kid, and I still do because I love doing parkour! Thank you so much for making this game, I found my new fun!

Another Apple Arcade disappointment.. Wow. I understand that this is all new, but I haven’t found a good game on Apple Arcade yet. The graphics are OK on this, but just like every other game so far I’ve tried the controls are clunky and just irritating. What comes next? I’m guessing that Apple has some sort of Bluetooth controller in the works, that’s got to be the only reason these fairly good looking and well made games have such garbage controls. Also, can we stop trying to make new games look more like old games? I don’t understand this. I was around during the “retro” games period, and it sucked. Now I have to live through the 80’s & 90’s again.

This game is the best. I would say this is better than Minecraft and Roblox but I will It is super good there are some things I don’t like though first thing is how are you have to move around what if you run into a wall I am just saying The second thing is it’s hard to play the game the controls are just wonky like I said The third thing is The tutorial is harder than the real game. A really great game but you need a controller to make the experience better. When I played this game it was amazing like a floor is lava first person game is a really amazing idea. But the problem is the controls. When you play a controller the controls fit but when you play in a Mobile Touchscreen, it feels almost unplayable. I think I have an idea though, maybe the devs can add a circle pad for moving. It feels more better and is easier. Overall I say that Hot Lava is really good with controller but if they fix the mobile touchscreen controls than it can be good without a controller too. We just have to wait for an update or something.

Fun!. So… this is a pretty fun game. I just have one suggestion for the AR mode that would be nice. Would you guys look into options for removing the game controls on the screen for screen recording? There are times when I want to take a screenshot or video of an AR world that I’ve created, but the controls are in the way. It would be really great if I could somehow hide them for screen recordings or screenshots. I have several other games that allow me to do this and it’s really nice. Thanks!

This game is great but has one minor issue! Please read this!. I love Hot Lava and was excited to get it on Apple Arcade. I love finding the dog buddy on the maps. But it gets really hard to find them sometimes. Also this game has one minor problem. The first one is that sometimes when I try to jump my jump button cancels out and it gets really frustrating. I have to start all over again! I also just think that you should be able to put your sticker in places more than one time! Thank you for making this amazing game! I will happily give this game a 5 STAR REVIEW!

It so bad. The touch control is so bad, it doesn’t perform well it gets really annoying when you try to look to the side it doesn’t shows the HUD either which make it impossible to know what you are pressing i feel that this could be enjoyable if you put a hud so people can see the controls other wise its annoying i got a ps4 controller i have not tested it yet but if i download this game is to play it not at home but when im out not here at home. The game so far has been more stressful than enjoyable. Pls put an option that could let players activate a hud or something in order to see the controls. It is essential to have a controller its way more smoother with a controller, it should say that a controller is required

Good game but a few bugs.. Hot Lava is a pretty good game for me but there’s a few bugs. The first bug is sometimes my character’s belly button is in a certain platform and I don’t like that. The second bug is that my character sometimes can’t pick up ANYTHING which is really annoying. The last bug is that I can’t enter levels half of the time which is also annoying because then I have to waste my time on exploring the normal map.

Okay game. The games is actually really fun... that is if you have a controller. I play on the iPad 5th gen and the game runs fine the the mobile controls are absolutely atrocious, there should be a designated jump button and action button, better sensitivity and more room on screen to use to your finger to look around. The joystick is also terrible, it’s not dynamic and it’s very small and makes it hard to move. The game would be very fun if it wasn’t so hard to play because of garbage controls.

Amazing! 🤩🤩. If you need an example of perfection, this is it! It’s a great game! It’s very fun and exciting. I would like more levels since I’ve played all of them at least twice. It’s kind of tricky, which I love! I love how your an action figure! And the comics are actually funny!!! Like laughing out loud funny, at least for me! I love it. Needs more levels and Chase your Sister is too hard. Hot lava is a great game but I have finished all the levels in the game. After that it gets boring since you already completed the levels and there’s no challenge to completing a new level. The Chase your Sister levels are extremely challenging when you die YOU RESPAWN AT THE SPOT WHERE YOU BEGAN!!! Also why do I die when I get behind the “sister” or ahead? These levels are so hard my brother can’t even complete these levels. I took days to complete one. These levels can be incredibly frustrating and other struggling can agree. Otherwise great game and highly recommend. -Ivypelt

Crashing. The game for some reason keeps crashing on me every 15 minutes or so but other than that everything is amazing. I am absolutely addicted to this game. The graphics are amazing for a iOS game and it has controller support. I would recommend playing with a controller though because I play this game in bed and having to keep my screen steady is ok but not the best. Those are my only critiques, keep making great games like this!

Add “flip screen” option. Game is fun when using a PS4 controller. Only problem is the screen only stays in one position. My phone case has a stand on the back but when I stand my phone up this game is upside down. I searched in settings but couldn’t find a “flip screen” option. PLEASE add this feature for people using controllers! Will change review to 5 stars when that is added! Update: Thanks for making the screen be able to flip! Now I can finally play with a controller without the screen being upside down!

Great game just needs some additions. The game is great especially with an Xbox controller. One the thing it could use is some sort of friending method and some sort of race type thing where you could race your friends. The last this is that I wish it had a microphone that would make the hole experience much more immersive and fun. I think with the microphone and the racing thing together would be a great addition. this game is the best altough i would like for you to think about this. I love this app its very fun the most thing I like is the parkcore but i play on a tablet and im not sure if the game already includes this or not but when i sit on my tablet and play i have to turn around constently to to look around its kinda cool because its kinda like vitrual reality i’ll give you that but it really wears me out because I have to sta d up to look around in the game im not sure you’ll read this but i’ll add one more star if you fix this

great game but one problem. this is a really good game!! once you gain speed and just start jumping through levels with ease it feels super awesome! the lava looks great and i love the aesthetic with you being able to play as an action figure. you can tell the kid you play as in this game is using their imagination to its fullest potential. however, after the world “Rocco’s Arcade” the worlds just start to feel lazy and careless, and there isnt even any lava. the only late world that was well made was the G.A.T. base, which was only about 3 levels. so if you play this game, play the first 6 worlds, rocco’s arcade, and G.A.T. base, and skip the rest.

Really fun and inventive!. Who didn't play "the floor is lava" as a kid?! It's about time someone made a game based off that and this one doesn't disappoint. It adds an interesting twist where instead of being a human being, you're playing as an action figure, which adds an neat twist and doesn't distract from the gameplay. This also allows for some fun character personalization (I don't care for that but I know many folks do.) I've only found two main things that are not ideal- this game would be much better played on a platform with a paddle, like PlayStation or Xbox. It's pretty difficult and complicated for the phone - but they do a great job with it's overall playability! Second, the game demands so much of your phone that my iPhone 7 gets pretty hot while operating this game. I suggest turning off haptics and keeping sounds down. I again have to take my phone or if it's car. Overall great game!

No sound and a controller highly recommended. I have no audio at all for this game. Not worth playing with phone controls as they are just to clunky. I would highly recommend a controller like an Xbox one or PS4 controller that will connects with Bluetooth. The audio issue I’ve closed the game out multiple times and nothing changes. I’ve also checked all audio settings and nothing is turned off there. I’ll try to reinstall to see if that will help. I’ll also try it with a controller later just to see the differences and actually play through some of the game to put a more complete experience review down.

Really really really really really really good but a few things…. Soooooooooooooooo much fun but sometimes when press jump it doesn’t jump so l end up falling a little more. Update!: Please add chat because I’ve made friends and I can’t exactly communicate with them,but not public chat because that would be dangerous like you can select a player to talk with.

Some bugs but unique and amazing. Best play style is with a controller, but seriously have a load of fun with this one. Playing the test levels is almost as much fun as when the lava appears. Some areas when you first start where it’s not 100% obvious what you have to do. But dive in a try a few things, fail here and there and you’ll pick it all up. Would get 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bugs - am assuming they’ll get fixed soon though.

Great Game Please Make On Nintendo Switch. Great game but controls for touch needs adjustments desperately and please use touch controls like call of duty mobile because tilting your iOS device makes it very hard to play so I had to borrow an Xbox controller to have good controls if controls was good with touch I would have given this a five but really good game

Amazing game. It’s an amazing game I definitely recommend it but i am on the trampoline level where you cant go on the ball pit. I cant duck and dont know how to cause i need to get under this low ceiling. Someone pls help

Hard multiplayer but still good. The game pictures and videos say there is multiplayer but I don’t no if it’s true. I’ve loaded up the game and I cant see a multiplayer button, but the game is pretty well done! Good job producers The games amazing and I play it on iPad so yeah iPads normally really hard to play games on but it’s really easy. Totally awesome. I’ve completed all of the levels...i think. I tried playing on the iPad at first, which had...questionable controls but i can’t think of any better way of doing it. Playing it on the Mac though was the best, you can play your own music in the background and the controls are standard, so they work great. I’m looking forward to the devs adding more maps.

A great game but...... Wow this game is like no other, the controls are amazing. Did I mention that this is the best game I’ve played on my iPhone. But one thing you could do to make it better is to be able to have your own music in the game also it something’s doesn’t save so you have to start again. Please fix those two thing to be a 5 star game. ;)

Epic. This game is by far my favourite on Apple Arcade. I haven’t tried without a controller yet but the controls with controller are great. I also don’t understand what people’s problem with the soundtrack is. I think the music is great and most games already stop playing any music from another app anyway. Overall a great game.

The controls (iPad). I find the controls hard. So on the left side it’s just move forward or backwards. On the right it’s turn and jump. I can not turn and jump or jump and turn cohesively. Could you please implement a joystick on the left so I can move and turn at the same time, cos that I can do. And have jump and action button on the right. I will give higher rating if you can at least give me the choice in controls. Please and thank you.

Connecting your controller to your phone makes the game more enjoyable. I connected my ps4 controller to my phone so I could try playing this game, works great!! Way better than the touch screen controls, which literally makes this a portable game console right? 🤣

Fix the controls. This game has so much potential. I love the premise and the satire but the controls sap the fun out of the gameplay. There’s challenging and then there’s clunky and awkward. I’m sure with a few tweaks this game would be amazing but I doubt I’ll play it again as is.

Great. This game is good but it’s laggy sometimes and I’m annoyed when the game doesn’t tell you where to go and I can’t figure out where to go to get the checkpoint so make it so you can find the checkpoint easier. Also more toys to be i want more characters. Great game, it’s fun to play. It takes up a lot of battery though and more power up’s would be fun.

Fun but needs fixing. The arrow pad on the left needs to be visible all the time. I find myself pressing to go back and going left or forwards still. The arrow pad being invisible is very annoying. And there is latency when pressing the jump button. Also add a sensitivity option for looking around because it is too slow sometimes. Fun game tho

Just like the title says I loved it but I would recommend that you have a controller to have a overall better experience then using touchscreen screen controls... yeah they don’t work great. Also including the fact that my phone gets hot and that affects the performance, I literally have to play in front of a fan in order to play it and that not great either but still I love this game and I would really love for you guys to fix the heating problems (and don’t worry you’re not the only game with this problem)

Great game terrible controls. Love the concept and if the controls were a bit better I would have no complaints about gameplay. The jump button doesn’t always work and when it does work half the time it makes me drift really off course. The drifting is my main problem but the controls just seem broken all together.

Good but one level is very very hard. So I got this game and not going to lie it’s a pretty fun game buuuuutttt on chase your sister is hard but the on in the playground is even harder. I got to a point when if I tried to move or jump it said I was left in the darkness. Oh and it’s kinda weird when you go to walk but you go back THEN forward,so overall it’s fun but eh kinda hard.

Bad controls. The game is great except for the control interface. It’s awful. I know it isn’t easy to make a mobile game user friendly but this is miserable to play. Very fun game!. I keep seeing comments about the touch controllers being bad. I honestly did not try with touch controllers. I tried it with a PS4 controller and I spent way more time than I thought I would have trying this game out. Very fun! Try to get all stars in all levels. Definitely worth trying.

Really Good Game. I can see why many people think this game is easier with a controller, and I agree. But I still have no problem maneuvering the controls, they’re pretty easy to get used to. I love the customization you can do and how you need to earn the accessories as well instead of buying them. So far I am enjoying the game a lot, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

No longer works. This is a great game when it works. The game just had an update and now it won’t even open. When I could open the game it would shut down before I could play it. I tried to delete the game and re download it several times, but it wouldn’t even download. It really is a shame because I was playing it non stop before the update. If it gets fixed, definitely a 5 star game.

No community levels. I love this game and probably play it daily. I have reached the level cap on my profile and I love the game. I have most achievements in the game but the one I wish I had was the community patron. There is no community levels on mobile. Other than that this is a great game. I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone who has Apple Arcade. Great job!

Amazing Game but the controls…. Hot Lava is a great game and it does bring some aspects and different references and features from many games like Don't Starve Together. My only problem is the controls, they are very limited and you cant move them around to your liking. Especially the jump button, for mobile you have to constantly be moving your thumb back and forth.

Cool game bad controls. You can just get a controller or something to avoid this but I don’t want to so, why would you use a dpad istead of a joystick? And the camera movement. And crouching. Using touch will barely help anything. The buttons are literally invisible, just let us edit the HUD. A real nice jump button, crouch button. And a joystick. That would be really great. This game doesn’t feel like a mobile game. Even though it was for PC.

Frustrating. So today I played hot lava and it was doing the chase your sister thing on the school map but it was really frustrating cuz I kept dying and there’s no checkpoint so I have to start all over. Also at the same time I kept getting bumped by the obstacles and rocks and if I took too much time it would make me start all over. This is really frustrating for me and I really want this fixed.

Battery. The game is great, I can’t stop playing it. The one thing I have to complain about is the battery consumption. I have an iPhone 12 so it not that old, and I can’t play the game for more than 20 mins without my phone dying. Its insane how fast the battery drains. Otherwise the game is great, but that is one problems with it that really gets me.

disappointed. I had high hopes for this game. I remember playing The Floor is Lava in elementary school and I thought it was really cool that someone made a video game for this. However, the sound effects and background music didn’t work and the controls were awful. I don’t feel like tilting my iPad in all sorts of directions, I can barely see the buttons, changing the direction you’re facing is slow and annoying. It is unclear how to use some of the obstacles, but not unclear in a puzzle-type way, just unclear.

Super fun but….. This game is awesome and really fun. Super good cosmetics and food ideas, but the controls are so weird. I hate how you have to swipe it run and the jump button and turning are annoying. I want to turn in air and hit the jump button again, wasting the double jump, and then i die. Other the the controls, i love this game.

With a controller, this game was awesome. I probably put around 6 - 8 hours into this game. Beating every level was satisfying. It was also challenging but not to the point of giving up. I loved it and recommend playing it, but only with a controller! Without one the game is way less fun

Great Game But Could Easily be VR. I recently got a VR headset for my Phone and was having trouble finding a good game. But this game would be incredible in Virtual Reality. It already has the look around feature so it shouldn’t be too hard to translate the controls. You can also leave a normal option that isn’t VR in the menu. I hope you consider my idea to take this game to the next level.

Saturday morning cartoons and action figures utopia. Love the game. Reminds me of Saturday morning cartoons and playing with my action figures as a child. The game is best player with a controller as it's very hard to control using a touch screen. Best played using Apple TV. My biggest complaint is this game doesn't support iCloud. I'm sure that sharing saves between devices would help out us gamers.

Fun game but controls layout horrible. I love this game, it’s fun, addicting at trying to be the best and beat the time. But I think the downfall is the controls layout it can be glitchy and it has stoped me from playing. Like it’s not easy since you have to move your camera run and jump. Like the layout it’s difficult and confusing.

It was fun but had major problems. If you want to play this game first you will probably have to play in private because you look like a freak. To play this game you have to constantly be moving your phone and hands, so not a great game for wait rooms or laying down. Secondly, it turns your phone into a mobile inferno. I have one of the newest phones (iPhone 11) and I still had to put it down every twenty minutes because it got so hot. The gameplay is fun but all seems the same after awhile. Fun for about one hour of play.

Fix it please. So I love this game yes… but when ever I’m at level 20 or 19 out of 22 there is this slide level where first I slide and jump over spikes, then I ho around the big one, then I meet this tunnel I have to crouch through but when ever I hold it I get killed anyways, I even have max 300 sensitivity! I just get mad. So can you guys fix it?

Suggestion. It’s very fun and a lot better than most other games on Apple Arcade, but it’s very hard to play because the jump button is in the way. My suggestion is to add a setting so you can customize your control layout so I can make the jump button smaller or move it.

Controls are crap. So don’t get me wrong I could underline COULD have fun with this game but the controls make me want to kill the person who made this so the jump button is the same as the crouch button and when you try to jump it down I’ll make you crouch and then I fall in the lava over and over again it’s so annoying and when I try to double jump it will crouch me in the air instead like why would you ever crouch in the so just don’t spend time with this game but if it was on a console I could have SO MUCH FUN!!!

Too hard!!. Listen, this game would have been better if the developers made the controls easier and die so much because of it because sometimes I accidentally go backwards which leads me to fall in the lava, plus you may have jump glitches, sometimes when I double jump, it just makes me a little jump which is sooo annoying! If you have skill issues in games like that these, this game is not recommended!

Based on the game Hot Lava. It keeps on glitching. It is fun to play. But when I jump up straight it keeps on pulling me to the left. No matter what direction you are looking. When you fix the bug I will play it again. But it is frustrating since it is such a fun game. But this bug makes me not able to play. Developers please fix it:(

So awesome!😱. I just got a subscription to Apple Arcade and this game is the first game I’ve downloaded on Apple Arcade. So far it is so awesome and it literally feels like I’m playing a VR game in mobile. The graphics are awesome and the parkour is amazing. Overall I love this game and and I can’t wait to download more games from Apple Arcade and I rate this game a good 5 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The controls are a little nauseating. It’s a great game overall, definitely was fun. If you like 360 rotational games then i think you would enjoy it. But after playing this game for a little while, it was starting to get a little annoying on how i had to move my phone down or dip it just to see where the character was going. But overall i would enjoy this game a lot more if there was a setting change in getting rid of the 360 rotation thing.

Mouse support. I took my magic keyboard and tried to play lava run. The keyboard worked, WASD worked fully but space bar did not. The mouse didnt work either, especially with controls and looking buttons. Specifically MB1 and MB2. Can you add in the settings the ability to add mouse and keyboard controls? Pls ( was added for emphasis of the amount of awesomeness GCkeyboard and GCmouse would be in a mobile game)

Love this game but. I love this game I’ve been playing it for a bit but I hate that there’s no button to go back to the menu. What if I want to change the map that I’m playing on or I just got a new cosmetic item and I want to try it on but I can’t because there’s no menu button so you have to close the app and wait for it to load.

Great concept, okay execution.. This game is super fun with great art and a lot to explore. It reminds me of bunny hopping on Counter Strike. The controls made me nauseous after a few minutes of playing. They’re not very intuitive. I keep expecting to use the jump button to look up, down, left and right. But instead it requires you to move the phone for full movement. I would suggest giving the user an option to not require motion control. It’s slightly unplayable considering.

Gunner_playz. Please read, ok so great game but can have some change.....You have to turn around and please make so it is not so hard and I now you do not always need to turn your body you can spin but I lag a little bit. I love your game oh did I mention I play on phone.

Fix the jump. Hello, this is a great game you have created and I really liked it I would put five stars but there is a problem with the jump button. When ever I try jumping I always lean right for some reason. I don’t know if this is intended to lean right or if it’s a glitch but if it is a glitch please fix it.

Allow layout change!!!!. I love the game, but what would really make this a 5 star game was if you were able to move the layout of the controls! It’s so frustrating to want to move but jump instead because the jump button is so large and takes up 50% of the right side of the screen.

Glitch. This game is a lot of fun but I’m noticing a glitch: after I view my replays on the leaderboard, the audio of my character’s footsteps disappear. It disappears both when I’m playing and when I’m viewing a replay from then on. If this could be addressed and fixed that would be great!

Great game! It’s just…. I love playing this game. Everything about it is what every phone game should be. There is just one problem… When I play with my BackboneOne controller, the game will run smoothly for 10 minutes and then my character will lose control. I’ll end up jumping, running backwards, etc. I know it’s the game because my controller works without any problems with any other game/app.

Please make parkour island easier. great game but huge problem. i’ve been playing this game for weeks nonstop and it’s really fun. the controls are great, and it’s a good game to kill time. my problem is subjective though. i just installed the new security response to my phone and now when i play the game, for some reason i can’t grab on to ropes or poles. specifically those two things, everything else works completely fine. i’m not sure how to fix this problem on my end because i’ve restarted the game, restarted my phone completely, and even restarted my save in the game but i still have the same problem. i would love some feedback as to if this problem will be solved.

Nice, Has a few bugs though.. I (LOVED) the game so much. Just beat the game today. However though, It does have a few bugs. Like when I landed on a flat plane. My charater slipped off of the plane. Next bug, every now and then. I would noclip through a plane. Last bug, the hitboxes are a little off. Please fix all of these bugs to get a five star. Thanks for reading, Have a nice day! 🙂

If this game is for +4?!. I rate this 2 stars because this is a kids game, I’m 13 and I can’t play with the TRASH controls, and it doesn’t help that the game gets way too hard in like 20 minutes into the game... Now the good thing is the graphics, and the game is good, but I actually cracked my screen because of my mental stat... this game brings the most anger out of me... it’s fun but can be harmful... at least to me. I wanted to be honest but it’s a bit hard for kids.

Good but has bugs. Ngl it is a great game but there are some bugs that need to be patched like falling through platforms, and vaulting nonstop until you die. I think the most annoying bug is that when it shows you how to vault it doesn’t let you double jump anymore through through the entire game

Good game with little problems. This game is a good port of the PC version, the only real thing that I have wrong with it is it’s “optimizing for device” loading screen when you start it up. It doesn’t seem to optimize much. Some of the areas will run smoothly, like Gym or School, but others, like Playground, will run very bad. I play on an iPhone 6S Plus

Definitely worth getting. The game is good the levels are unique the cosmetics are awesome however playing with touch controls is a struggle and it also needs a graphics option so players can choose wether they want performance or quality other than that the game is good!

Feels wrong. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great game but it feels like it’s controls could be better and the game feels super awkward to play. It’s fun but I’d recommend getting the computer version off of steam for like 10 dollars as you’ll save money if this is all you bought Apple Arcade for. The computer versions controls are super natural and the game is much more fun to play when you’re not whipping your whole body around to grab a rope or pole.
