Bugs!. I bought the game earlier and there’s already bugs. I can’t access her mailbox. I started my game over and couldn’t use the magnifying glass. I thought the developer would have fixed these by now since the game’s been out for awhile.

Already addicted. I just started playing and I’m already addicted. So much fun! I have enjoyed Chain Reaction games so much and this game doesn’t disappoint.

Waste of money. It was fun until I got stuck on a level that even the solution in the hints doesn’t solve. Now I e been trying to get past it for days and I’m just frustrated and annoyed that I paid for something that I don’t have an option to skip a task if I can’t get it.

An absolute blast to play. Clever, delightful puzzles in an engaging mystery storyline. This is weird, but I get the impression from the tone of the game that these devs are highly intelligent, but also fun to hang out with. Note that basic science literacy is helpful for solving some puzzles

Help!!!. I love this game but ever since I started act 2, I am stuck at the cafe. I have the ryde app downloaded but every time I try to go on the phone in the game and go to the virtual world, it crashes at the computer screens, and exits the game. I don’t know what to do. Plus the ryde app says there’s no routes available. One star because I don’t know what to do ..

Bird box broke. Fun game and want to continue playing... but the bird box is not working I’ve pressed the buttons the right amount of time and I’ve tried it tons of times but it just doesn’t work!

Very fun for the first half hour. Now the app just crashes when I open it

The game is really fun and challenging. I played it with my dad and we had a lot of fun solving the puzzles I would recommend to anyone.

Clunky. Non-intuitive controls, and why in the world is it impossible to turn the music off?

This Game is Soooooooo Addicting!!!. Okay, this game is really fun and SUPER ADDICTING. Like, if you get this game, you won’t be able to put it down until you’re done, honestly. I’ve never wrote a review on a game before, but I’ve gotta say, this is probably the best app game I’ve ever played! The gameplay is so captivating and fun, and I was interested the whole time. With some of the puzzles, I had to use the hints, but even then, I still enjoyed solving them! Thanks for making this game, and I’m excited for the update!!!!

Bugs???. It started out as intriguing and unique, but I’m now at a point where it’s impossible to progress any further and feel like I wasted my money. I decoded the blank letters in the soar app and got a screen about nanograms, but it won’t let me actually do anything. The other screen just asks “what’s our names.” All of the hints and solutions under dark side and light side are locked. Then in the interceptor app, I read the solution and no matter how many times I type in “aviary” and flocking birds caged, nothing happens. I must have run into some bugs?? There are no further hints or solutions available and I’m unable to go any further.

Crashes on first puzzle. On the very first screen I read the computer messages and then place the items in the box. As soon as i place the last item (no matter which order i place them), the game crashes. No way to get past screen one. Waste of money.

Where’s the next update???. I bought this game because it promised monthly updates and added content. Nothing has been added and it has been well over a month. Hey developer, it’s better to under promise and over deliver than to over promise and under deliver. You’d be wise to save your money until you see if they actually add any updates. Right now, it feels like a giant money grab!

I'm not happy. I paid for this game & I really like it a lot, however some of the puzzles are to hard for me.. which is fine, but I would really love it if the developers would put helps for the second part of the game! They keep telling me what to do over email, but that takes months at a time, and by then I don't even remember what I played! I can't get on Discord it's not so helpful to me.. please please put the game hints on the game!

Awesome Game!. I really love mystery and logic games like this! It is so fun to play, and it really makes you think sometimes! In the beginning of the game, when I was stuck, I always took a hint, but once you got in the shed the hints were over. I’m not sure if that was intentional, but I’m glad it happened because although I was stuck on some puzzles for a long time, I eventually was able to solve them and it felt far more satisfying than asking for a solution! Awesome game! And to be honest, the puzzles are not impossible like a lot of people seem to think. Sometimes it is helpful to take a break to have a fresh idea when you try again.

Keeps shutting down but so fun!. I had the app shut down multiple times and it’s really slow on my iPhone XR. It shuts down completely and won’t move beyond when she’s picked up by the car after the lap so I can’t finish the game at all. I am so bummed, I was really enjoying it despite the lagging in gameplay and shutting down! I hope it’s fixed soon! Will definitely rate higher if the technical issues can be fixed!

Crash Fixed - Back to 5 Stars. The Labs/Ryde crash was fixed, so my complaint was resolved. Therefore, with everything working, I am amending my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Great game. Thanks for the quick fix!

I loved this game! Only got to play the first act tho :(. I played this earlier today in one sitting, I was enjoying it so much! I loved the puzzles and everything. It was fun watching the mystery slowly get solved. One thing that happened tho was that right at the part where J calls a ride for Amanda, it closed out. I considered thats where it ended but I tried to open it up again to play part two but it closed automatically again. So I started doing everything I could and nothing worked. I tried restarting my ipad, deleting it then re-downloading, and playing on a different device. Not sure what I did wrong or if it’s my save maybe. But still a wonderful game and such a good experience. It gave me sally face vibes and that is one of my favorite games!

Creative, amazing, and addicting!. The creativity of this game and the puzzles are incredible. You can tell the developer really enjoys and has a passion for puzzle creating and solving. If things get tricky, the hints range from subtle to obvious depending on how much you want to know. The design within this game to bring up an “in game” phone and apps is so cool, useful, and responsive.

Is there a glitch in part 2?. Thanks for the response re: the hints! I realized the issue I was having was with the (spoiler) sensitivity of the areas that some objects had the be placed in— it took me a while to get them to go to the right spot, so you might want to tweak the sensitivity on the gardening equipment and the binoculars! Thanks a ton!

Unparalleled!. I come from the developer’s other game The Company, and all I can say is both of these are criminally underrated. I’ve never played anything like them and it’s so fun being able to jump into this world the developer has created. It’s all so interconnected and these are some of the few games that actually make me think! It isn’t too easy to be boring, but it also isn’t too difficult to make you unmotivated. Great storyline and keeps you at the edge of your seat! Can’t wait for the next update. 10/10 recommend this game, and check out The Company while you’re at it!

Good puzzler, but slow updates. I love a good puzzle game, and Circulous didn’t disappoint. The unusual interface options make the game all the more interesting, even if at times they feel less responsive than you’d like. The story is linear, and unfortunately, it is over all too quickly. I played the first episode over a day, and the second in just about the same time. Now I’m trying to be patient and wait for the next part of the story, but the lack of updates on the website is frustrating—let us know that the next section is in development or on the way, especially if you are going to promise regular updates. Glad to support the developer, and would recommend at this price...but be patient!

Amazing game!. I’m so pleased with how this game came out! A good story and filled with great puzzles. I can’t wait for part 2!

Get Ready to be Obsessed. Umm the only problem with this game was I got obsessed and finished it way too fast. It was so fun, the interaction and the amount of ways you had to work in the game and your iPhone were so fun. Really a thinking game. Chapter 2 needs to come out like yesterday!

Can’t wait for more!. The story line is good and the puzzles are an even balance of various skills. I can’t wait to see where the story next!

Boo!!. I don’t know how this game got high stars but that’s the LAST time I spend money on ANY game! It’s starts out ok. Takes some thinking but you can do it...then a hint or two. Then it just becomes ridiculous! Do you know what a nomolid is? I don’t but this game wants you to look it up (cause the link is broken) learn how to do it, then reverse apply it to another puzzle....excuse you? I kept going using ALL the hints but now I’m at the point of...I have literally no earthy idea what to do....no game should be this difficult. I thought maybe I need to work my brain more. NO! This is pure nonsense! Click on a box and lock something to rotate something so a piece can come out then another piece can slide🤦🏾‍♀️ HEADACHE! FRUSTRATING!! I wish I could get my $5 back!!😡

Second chapter issues. I loved the first chapter (hence 5 stars) and was super excited when I saw that there has been another added! However, I just started the second chapter, and every time I go into the ’invisible’ (?) space the screen crashes and takes me back to the main menu. When I press play again, I’m back in the café and have to start the scene again with the same results. Is this part of the game? Am I missing something?? If not there are some serious bugs that need ironed out with this new update. UPDATE: Thanks for the response! I have updated the game to the latest version, and am in the cafe, but when I try to book a Ryde to the hospital it says no routes can be found and to try again later??

AMAZING!. I absolutely love this game, and its grown to be one of my favorites. When I got stuck in act 2, I emailed and I received some good help too! This game and everything that comes with it (the music 🤗) is sososososososo good and I love this game to death! The puzzles aren’t too hard (until act 2) and it’s the right mix of clever and challenging.

Brain Twister. Great game that makes you think! I also appreciate the hidden hints that can help when in a tough spot. Very unique game and one that will keep me interested for a long time!

Irritating wheels. This was fun until I hit those super irritating rotating wheels. I just don’t have the patience.

A bit buggy but enjoyable. Good game to twist my brain with. So far the puzzles are more about observation of things that were shown earlier and crafty ways to use/look at them. Really like the different mechanics, they are surprising and fresh. Smalls things, like the screen stuck on one orientation even though it’s rotated, or the keyboard doesn’t go away after typing so it blocks the next puzzle, or some other minor inconsistent behavior within a puzzle, could get a bit annoying after a couple of force closes. Oh and the hints pages for the spokes puzzle is wrong, that should be a quick fix.

Great game, usually buggy. As others have mentioned, I am stuck at the cafe at the beginning of Act 2. Ryde app doesn’t appear on my phone. After entering that virtual world, the screen goes gray/freezes, I have to restart, and I end up in the same spot. The latest update did not fix this problem. Incidentally, I tried to report this separately on your website, but that’s also buggy and wouldn’t permit it.

Buggy. I like the game but very buggy. Currently it crashes everytime I turn it upright to get the cell phone to come up so I can’t continue playing. I just upgraded to iOS 14.2 so maybe it’s not compatible?

Fun so far!. Game is really fun so far. I appreciate that neat games are still being made that don't rely on microtransactions. Has some bugs with iOS14 since Apple changed memory allocation, which makes the game hang and keeps the background music playing even after the game is exited. I'm sure the devs will iron all that out soon, and I'll get to keep playing through!

Best puzzle game i’ve seen in a while. Seriously amazing work. Circulous is challenging without being frustrating. Kept me occupied for weeks. Worth every penny!!

Fun, and challenging!. This game is charming and entertaining from the beginning. Dig the story, but really enjoy the puzzles. It’s not easy, but you will eventually figure it out. I finished the only part that’s released and I love it, and can’t wait for more!

Love game but stuck due to crash. I absolutely love this game so far. It is fun and holds my attention, which is hard due to severe ADHD. It is absolutely a 5-star game but I’m hesitant to give it due to one issue. The issue is that I’m now stuck at one point in the game due to it crashing. It crashes at the same spot for the past 24 hours (each time I try to open the message from the HR rep.) I really wish this would be fixed so I can continue to play. ☺️

I love the mixture of challenging and exceptionally challenging. Great game with a good backstory and challenging puzzles (some extremely challenging and obscure). I love that the developer provided a series of hints that did not simply provide the answer. And, that they were a series of escalating hints, first prompting you to look for certain clues and increasing in more hints along the way. Some that just jogged my memory for something I had seen before without having to get another hint. I like the mechanics of the Hance in that I could slide over to erase just the first few words and not reveal the whole hint. Sometimes that was plenty. I was surprised that the game suddenly stopped with a part two coming soon, but probably for the better so that I could get onto being more productive with my day. Ha ha. This game is addicting! I realized hours have gone by and I was still glued to my iPad. Can’t wait for part two!

Such a great game, will I remember it when we finally get an update?. This is a great game, the quality of which is difficult to find. But it’s coming up on almost one year since I purchased what was billed as an “episodic” adventure, and it’s been updated once, six months ago. I’m afraid I won’t remember what the storyline is and it will be like starting over. Please follow through on your commitment to provide periodic episodes.

Frustrating. I’m stuck in a way that renders the game frustrating and I feel like I wasted my money.

Dope concept aside, real buggy. I’m loving the gameplay and all the sounds and vibrations with it, but it’s frustrating how buggy the game is. I can’t freely move from one screen to the next without either a 10 second wait time for it to catch up or a force close. It force closed 5 different times within the first 10 minutes. Game would be much more enjoyable if that wasn’t the case

I need help. I am stuck on the part when the power goes out. I have no idea what to do.

Stuck. Letter Blanks and Two Spoked Symbols have the exact same hints some I’m unable to move on from that point. I emailed the developer and he immediately respond. Great Game

So slow. Froze a lot. Dont buy if you dont have computer skills!

Bugs. This is a great game and obviously took a lot of effort to create so I’ll still give it 3 stars. But the content released a couple months ago had a lot of bugs. I was able to play into the library (though I think that was a glitch too). But once I was in there, none of the features worked right (WiFi password wouldn’t work, then all of a sudden the webview just started up on its own; books kept reproducing; no combo of books worked even though I had the right ones). And now that it seems those bugs are fixed and I should be able to play on, my inventory is locked up so I can’t place the books at all. All the bugs take the fun out of the game play.

Act 1 is great. I really enjoyed Act 1, but it appears I will have to wait 11 real-time hours to leave the coffee shop at the beginning of act 2 (and actually more like 23, since I won’t be playing it first thing in the morning.) This seems like an awfully bad design choice.

great game but minor bugs. i really do like this game but i’ve run into a few annoying bugs. sometimes when i try to open the computer, nothing pops up and my screen gets blurry, then i have to exit the game. this happened mostly during act 1 scene 1. when i try to go to shifty.com/invisible, i get there, but i’m forced back to the title screen when i look around, or when the door opens, or my game puts me inside the computer that says error and i can’t see anything, then again forced back to the title screen. huge bummer

Some issues. Hi there, I’ve loved the game and have finished act 1, but when I try to go to shifty.com/invisible the game freezes. I was waiting for the recent update hoping it would change but that hasn’t been the case. I’d love to give 5 stars once I can get past this issue.

Interesting but too hard. Interesting game, but hard to solve given the information. Yes you can use hints but it gets frustrating after a while. I wish there would be more of a story focus and choice driven narrative, rather than just puzzles.

Good, puzzles felt fresh. A bit glitchy.. It’s good, I’m looking forward to playing future chapters. Puzzles are creative, there’s a decent variety of puzzle types, and the in-game smartphone thing is well done. It was a bit crashy and a bit glitchy, so I hope they work on that. It crashed a few times when changing scenes, and for the whole “in the apartment” part of the game the phone was really laggy, taking several seconds to respond to clicking an app icon. And little glitchy things like when some files went away their names still appeared on top of the new file’s name in that spot, and if you have the keyboard open when you rotate out of phone-mode the keyboard stays on screen. But still playable and good.

Not long enough. Fun game but not long enough for the price.

Issues. Hi, I’m using an iPad Air 2. I can’t open the app Shifty.com/door/15. Every time I try I get kicked out of the game. Also, I can’t book the Ryde app to the first location. I’m excited to play this chapter and hopefully you can fix these issues! Thx 🙂

Frustrated. I would have given this game a 5 star rating after I played the first act, however, I just started ACT 2 and everything was going great until I got to the end of the shifty.com part. My game continues to crash when I try to enter shifty.com/door/15 I believe is the answer but when I enter it the whole game crashes!!!! It’s so frustrating. If you can fix this problem I will amend my review. Thanks

Won’t let me click on 2 box. Ugh. I actually like this game but I couldn’t get through the decoding because it kept being a letter or two off at the end, so had to cheat. Now I’m stuck!! I watched the surveillance video of my apartment, a second box was thrown through the window, but I can’t click on it?? A bug is preventing me from going forward to the box puzzle :/ Ok, after restarting a few times I could finally click on the box. Had trouble clicking and dragging the magnet too. But seriously, there is no way to do this without hints/cheating. The mini games make no sense without directions and there is no way a majority of the people would ever recognize Morris code from a flashing stoplight. Kinda ridiculous and ruined the experience. I like challenging puzzles but a lot of them were so esoteric you couldn’t solve your way out of it.

Awesomely creative, frustratingly buggy. I played the first episode a few weeks ago and loved it. There were some hiccups but I managed to work around the bugs like sudden crashes by restarting. The ‘end’ of that episode was very abrupt and I wasn’t sure if it was the real end or a crash. Now that episode II is out I was very excited but the bugs are back full force very early on. I know I need to leave the cafe via Ryde but it says there are no routes in the Ryde app. So I’m stuck there and going into the shifty.com sites also crash when I’m at the alternate reality part. Trying to go back to the cafe now gives a blurry screen. T_T Guess I wait for future updates that fix these issues.

Thus far I am happy with my purchase. I absolutely love mystery games and puzzle games. I love that there are no inappropriate elements and that the game isn’t scary. That way I am able to share it with my kids without worry of them being taught things that I don’t want them exposed to. I hope this game stays that way. Thank you for the easy way to save and play on any device and I love that it can be played offline. I love the fact that it’s challenging enough to keep me wanting more, use my brain, and relive some academic things I was taught. I look forward to continuing this review as more chapters come out...8-16-20

Garbage!. A total waste of a dollar. Makes no sense even with clues.

Crashes. It’s a good game, but it crashes so often that it’s not playable. I was stuck at the end of act 1 for well over a month, because the game would repeatedly crash. Today, I was able to play for about 15 minutes and now it’s crashing repeatedly again at the shifty.com part in act 2.

Frustrating. Too much back and forth then can’t find where I was. Once I do get back, I’ve progressed and no longer have to solve the thing I left to get (like a code). Too frustrating to be fun.
