Spent hours playing this game!. I love this game. Everything from the deceptively simple beginning to the chaotic mess that you end up with makes this game amazing. I’m definitely not the best player but it’s a lot of fun. It’s a 100% recommendation from me! While playing, however, I noticed a couple of things that could be fixed or improved on. The traffic lights only seem to make the traffic more congested, I’m not sure how to fix this but so far, they just seem pretty useless. Another problem that I felt while playing was that there’s no sense of accomplishment. Once you’ve beat all the maps, there’s nothing keeping you tied to the game. I wish there were some more accomplishments or small in-game puzzles you could solve. Another small issue that may be a bit harder to combat was how the phone/tablet over heats after a while. It gets scalding hot really fast. Other than those things though, this game is great and I definitely recommend everyone to play it! One thing that I saw in another review that I actually really liked was a free play mode where you could make and put down your own houses and buildings without the fear of losing or running out of time. One of my favorite parts of the game is building roads for the houses and watching the cars drive to their destination. A free play mode would definitely meet those needs!

Relaxing traffic manager. As someone who is really into city building games I have to say this is a great little game for me to unwind with. I’ve been playing it for about a week now and I love everything about it. Beautiful aesthetic, lovely colors in both day and night mode. The tutorial was a great introduction into the game, if i had to add anything I would just explain that when you erase something it won’t go back into your sidebar until all cars are done using it (for example, motorway or roundabout), took me some time to figure that one out. I love that the higher level maps introduce tunnels and I would love to see what other things are added as more maps are introduced (at least I hope this is the plan!). I also enjoy the daily and weekly challenges, really great for someone like me who plays this once a day to unwind. Overall, really lovely work I had no idea I needed a game like this in my life until I tried it. Looking forward to seeing more from these developers!

So close to great. Love this game and it’s simplicity. I think some of the suggestions people have made are great. I don’t mind the randomness of WHERE the houses and stores show up. I think that planning ahead for situations where houses are on the other side of the map is fun. You could include difficulty levels to help with that though, where easy mode makes sure that houses only spawn within a certain distance of stores of the same color. Where I have a major issue though is with the algorithm controlling the ratio of houses to stores. I literally just played a game where I ended up with 4 green stores on the map (3 regular and one big store), and only 5 houses. Even if all the stores were next to each other and the houses were right by them, I still would have failed because the demand was too high. This makes me feel like why even bother trying to keep playing if there’s a solid chance that I’ll be faced with an impossible task anyway? I really enjoy the planning side of the game and being the master of my own destiny with how I lay out my grids, but making it possible (and likely even) to lose no matter what I do just feels like it goes against the ethos of the game itself. A simple recalibration of the houses to stores algorithm would fix this issue. In my opinion there should always be twice as many houses as there are stores at any given moment.

Really strange save flaws. I really enjoy this game. I can play it pretty mindlessly, the graphics and sounds are nice, in general it is a good game. There are however a multitude of strange save flaws. - when I beat a city (i.e., make enough trips to unlock the next one), if I leave the game and come back some time later, it will not remember that I have already beat that city and I’ll have to play it again to move onto the next and need to make sure I start a game in that new city before I leave the app for it to remember that I’ve unlocked it. This gets really annoying. - it has asked me numerous times if I need the color blind settings or if I want to turn off the motion between menus. I say no every time but it seems to forget - when I resume a game, it is without fail NYC, which I have not played in weeks. I’ve played so many cities since then and every time I start a new game it asks me if I want to override my saved game, to which I say yes, but then the next time I play, NYC is still saved. This isn’t really a problem for me, just strange There are probably some other little things but my main frustration is having to replay cities after I’ve already beat them. Oddly enough, it’ll show a high score of 0 when this happens, but if I go to the leaderboards it will still show my ACTUAL high score of my first play of the city. Like I said, really strange save issues. I would really love for this to be fixed.

A few suggestions. I love this game so so much. I love the process of figuring out problems and rerouting cars. But I do think some things could be added or fixed to improve the game and make it playable for longer times. The first suggestion is to add one way roads. This would allow us to control the traffic flow so much better. This would also allow people to crate roundabouts. I do not know how you will acquire one way roads or how they will interact with stop light and motorways but i think this would be a great addition. Another thing you could add would be a sandbox mode. Allowing or endless roads, motorways and all the other add ons to help traffic flow better. You would also be able to move and place buildings deciding where they would go. You could then take it one step further and allow people to create their own maps. ie. choosing where mountains and lakes go. They could then upload this allowing other people to use the map and play it. Love the game and keep up the good.

Worthy of AT LEAST a 4-star Rating!. The rating on this game should be a 4.3, and I think it could get there with a little bit of fine tuning of the AI. FIRST OF ALL, the concept is wonderful, the sound design is finely tuned, and the art style is AMAZING! I’m rating this 5-stars because I believe its overall ranking should be higher. The crux of this review is: it’s addictive, it’s satisfying, Its pick up/put down, it looks great, and makes you feel like an awesome city planner! Considerations for Improvement: The game can sometimes work against you (by giving you an upgraded building, and NO houses to fuel it). I’ve never seen traffic lights help and I have only seen them kill my runs. I would like an isometric view of the city at the end, and different building types (but I understand why there aren’t any). How about a mode/ability where you have the option to move a certain number of houses or buildings? Also, what about unlockable skins for cars/houses/color pallets/buildings?

Zoom :/. I love this game. But this latest update has killed it. It’s obsurdly hard to play on a phone now that you’ve removed the zoom feature. Especially on cities like Lisbon. It’s so bad I’m going to have to stop playing until the zoom is returned because it’s just too frustrating. I don’t even have large hands but even I keep making roads and things in wrong places because the area you’re expected to touch is the size of a pearl head pin. Please return the zoom! Update: I read about the update and see you did add zoom. But as far as I can tell, it’s not pinch to zoom. It’s the old tap once to zoom in to a pre-determined amount. Not a customizable zoom like pinch to zoom. And most importantly, it was changed to auto default to off! So now you have to go to settings, options, and then toggle zoom on and pick what kind of zoom you want. But none of the descriptors like close or far mean much. So you just have to pick one and play a whole game with it to see if it’s the right kind of zoom for you. And there are something like five or more options to choose from. Seems needlessly complicated. However, now I’ve at least got the old tap to zoom feature back, I’ve updated my rating from 2 stars to 4.

Fun an addicting, broken aspects make playing not enjoyable.. Don’t get me wrong; this game is fun and addicting for not only just to waste time while watching TV or lounging around. But there is a serious bug/break in the game that can immediately ruin your game. When there is an intersection, either with or without a traffic light, sometimes traffic just completely stops and then your city fails. There is no fix I have found, other than completely removing all the roads in that area and frantically putting them back if you can, to hopefully get the traffic going. It’s especially bad when you are in the 500+ commuters area, and then (ex) yellow buildings need items picked up, then they go into the red pop up timer meaning it needs a lot of cars right now. All of your yellow cars besides maybe 3-4 are stuck not moving at all. They will just be frozen, and all it takes is ONE car to be broken at an intersection for the entire map to be completely bricked. It’s especially frustrating when I can just look at where everything is going wrong and all I can do it sit and stare at it, and wait for my city to get shut down and I have to restart.

Definitely worth a play. I actually never even had heard of apple arcade until an ad popped up for this game. I got the free trial and have been paying for it since ONLY for mini motorways. I play a few more but I would not pay for them if it wasn’t for this game specifically. Now that being said, there are quite a few things I would suggest improving. Like the stop-light would probably be better served as an all-way stop-sign instead. And pleeease could you make the cars turning animation faster. They seem to slow down way too drastically and that creates a domino effect on the cars behind it slowing the whole chain of cars downhill. Another big change I would propose is make it so bridges can be used in the city to go over other roads, so we can connect without being forced to have an intersection where there isn’t necessarily one needed. I also want to be (hopefully) the first to request a whole new game mode, called “Ghost Mode.” where the cars can cross intersections unimpeded. Say a car is going to the right and a car is going straight up. These two cars meet at an intersection. In the normal mode, these cars would slow down and the game would decide which car would have the right of way, usually based on who’s there a fraction of a second sooner. BUT in this mode they both would continue at full speed and just cross without being effected by the other.

Very fun with one game breaking bug. This game is fun. My girlfriend showed me this game and not gonna lie I wasn’t interested at first, but once I started playing, I enjoyed it. The strategy involved, the design, and the casual/relaxing play really bring the game together as a full package. I really think this could be a 5 star game. The only issue I’ve had is with a bug in the game the devs have known about for a least a year now. The bug involves saving your data to iCloud. As you progress, your progression is saved in iCloud. The bug prevents this saving progress and so, you could play the game, progress to a stage, and then open the game later and all that progression could be lost. I’m at the point where I’m seemingly permanently stuck at the Tokyo stage, even though I have achievements and have unlocked stages up to the manila stage. The most frustrating part about it is that this is a paid (monthly!) game, and they (still) haven’t found a fix for this bug. What is the point of playing/getting addicted to the game, if you can’t progress? I would’ve rated this game a one star bc the flaw is so fundamentally game breaking. Instead I rated the game 2 stars because the game is actually fun. It’s the only reason why I felt compelled to write this review- I thoroughly enjoyed the game and am sad that it has this bug.

Very fun and relaxing. I really enjoy playing this while I am relaxing or need to destress. The art style and sound design really help to promote the zen feeling they’re going for. And I just love watching the cars zip around and the city flowing more and more as the levels progress and get busier. I got this game for PC and mobile because I like it so much. There’s not much to criticize about this as I haven’t run into any bugs or glitches. But I could offer some suggestions. For one, being able to manually zoom in and out would be really helpful. As of now when you want to edit the roads, it zooms in at a set amount which is a little too close for me to see what I’m doing (especially if I’m trying to build long roads or motorways). Also, I wish there was a freeplay/sandbox mode where you could build roads to your hearts content. It would be a great way to practice as I oftentimes have trouble when traffic starts building up. So a way to practice managing that without losing would help. It would also be a nice relaxing mode to play with.

So much fun! Wish the rounds could be longer. I love this game and it is a lot of fun to play again and again. The graphics are great, gameplay is super and it is definitely worth checking out. Unfortunately, the traffic light is not helpful and I wish there were more of a variety of power ups instead like ‘eminent domain’ where you could remove a house that has spawned in a spot that gums up traffic/blocks the ability to have a straight path and ‘renovation’ that would allow a rotation of a building/change of entrance into the buildings or to add a second entry. ‘Clown car’ that magically clears all the waiting pawns in one car pickup. Color zone where you could pick a few squares that would populate with one specific color when it would be time to spawn a house in that that color. Finally ‘work from home’ where there would be a pause on new workers for a span of 1 to a few days. I think those kinds of power ups would increase the ability to create different strategies and salvage a great game that too often falls apart with no solutions with the current power ups on hand - my best scores often seem to come from luck than strategy. And so some ways to bring in more strategy would keep me playing for many more hours.

Best Game I have ever played!. Hi everyone. I never write reviews for games but I felt like this one deserved a review. Mini Motorways is a flaming strategy based yet simple for anyone to play kind of game. The game starts off easy and progressively gets harder as more destinations and houses pop up. I love the challenge this game gives the player whiteout frustrating them like some puzzle game do. In addition, the graphics are neat and the whole ambience of the game is relaxing. I have tried many games on Apple Arcade but this one beats them all and I would immediately cancel my subscription if it were not for this game. I don’t have any huge suggestions since I think the game really nailed it in all aspects! The only suggestion is that it would really cool to have an upgrade like the traffic lights and motorways that speeds up the cars on a particular road. This upgrade could be given when a player gets to a higher level week but it would make things even more exciting. Sometimes, it became difficult to change the roads when fees cars can reach the destination and having this sort of power-up/ upgrade (whatever you wanna call it) would make it more enjoyable. Overall, thanks so much Dinosaur Polo Club for creating such an addictive game!

Brilliant Game!. Has new challenges daily and weekly. You get to build roads all over the world. The game just got an update that added tons of different modes for any play style so the game is constantly changing and improving. Although I was skeptical at first and it was not what I thought it was, the game is unlike anything I've ever played and is one of the top strategy games out. I would recommend this game to anybody because it's very easy to learn, but also will challenge anyone who loves strategy games, and once you get going you don't want to stop. I believe it is not just one of the best strategy games out but one of the best games out period. They are adding new features all the time and it still hasn't reached its full potential. I recommend you download this game right now and play through it for a week, no matter who you are or what type of games you are into, and I promise you'll be hooked. I love trying to get the highest score I can to compete with other players around the world also. Although I mostly play it for the fun of it, I also like the competitive aspect of it as well. Build the roads and the cars will come...very fast so be ready to build your roads! The last thing you want is to cause a traffic jam! That's when it's GAME OVER!

It’s ok.. Fun like SIMS type. But it’s hard to know why the spots get crowded and why and by how much so then everything looks ok but all of a sudden it gets crowded and you’re shut down. There’s no meter to show you how much percentage of the number that makes a site too crowded or not accessible etc, so it gets confusing as to what you’re supposed to move, when just a few moments before everything seemed to be working fine. Also the motorway on top is overlapping the thing underneath so if you wanted to move the thing underneath you have to move the motorway to get to it, which is kinda annoying. I get that it’s just a silly game, and people play it with “strategy” so they don’t actually build functional town areas, but if they do that, they ought to be penalised, because the game would be much more fun if you got extra points for functionality of building a real town, and having the knowledge of the numbers needed to get a building filled or not filled, and how many cars actually are in each house. But I get that in order to do that it would be a much bigger game.

Very good game - Needs some adjustments. Let me start off by saying: this is the most fun game I’ve ever played on a mobile phone. I love the concept and strategy behind it. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, just do it. That being said, here are a couple of things I would like to see added to the game: - Yes, this is an arcade-style game. Usually those aren’t drawn out. However, the gameplay needs to be longer. Unless you are very strategic and meticulous, you aren’t likely to hit 1,000pts before losing. I think there needs to be difficulty settings. Maybe a casual mode, where you can’t lose at all and the game keeps going until the map is full. - There needs to be a better way to hide/adjust motorways. I know you can “peel” it to each side, but it’s not appealing and sometimes can still be hard to see. - I don’t know if it’s supposed to do this or if it’s a glitch, but if you have a road to a building and remove it while cars are parked, it will not allow those cars to leave back towards their houses. They will just sit there and take up spaces and stop functioning altogether. Even if you connect another road. This mechanic actually makes sense, but the game should be able to allow those cars to drive back to their houses before the road disappears, just like it does with other cars on the road. The final destination should always be the house, not the building.

Fun to play, love the game, just a suggestion. I love the game, as others have said the graphics are great, gameplay is smooth, fun to play, i read another review about the stop lights not being helpful i agree with that. Anyways my suggestion was to have a mode that could be maybe called “zen mode” so its the same objective, as in to have a smooth flowing city, but its a mode to where you can have your city forever. Dont take this the wrong way keep the current mode, or else that game wouldnt be what it is currently, im just saying im the kind of player who doesnt like to loose progress and i think it would be a fun idea to have like a ongoing zen mode to where if a house spawns badly or store spawns badly you could delete or move it to a more convienient position, stuff like that. And then when you dont wanna play zen mode you can switch right back to the challenging mode to solve the puzzles the game can throw at you and have lots of fun!

This game is wonderful, but would love more added!. I normally am not a huge fan on mobile games, since the video games I enjoy most are complex story games. However, there have been a couple mobile games that I become absolutely addicted to and this game is one of them. It’s simplistic, easy to learn, and great to play when you’re just doing nothing for five minutes. As much as I love it, I think it needs a couple additions. There needs to be a fix with the traffic lights, because every time I try to use one, it makes the situation worse. I tend to just avoid them all together now. I also think there should be some more infrastructure options. Maybe a four lane road? Also, since I love the simplistic design and art style of the game, I’d love if there was a zen mode of sorts where you could just build away without limits. I love it when the city starts to get bigger and there’s neighborhoods and city blocks. Even though I think it needs some improvements, this game is one of my favorite phone games ever! (I also absolutely love the sound design and music. I try to turn my sound on whenever I play❤️).

Sandbox Mode Badly Needed. With the placements of buildings and houses being random, there’s not much to learn from each game to take into the next game. The game requires effort into strategy only to have the next round completely change your strategy. You more than likely stumble upon a good game rather than create it. Having the sandbox option would be amazing to have. Cities Skylines has found major success in a sub-genre that was dominated by SimCity. The traffic aspect to the game is one of the biggest highlights. It’s a great feeling to build a functioning traffic system from scratch. The “from scratch” part is very important. Designated areas for housing and buildings, unlimited roads and full maps, making the entrance to a building moveable, off ramps on motorways, and many more features would make casual play fun. This isn’t really a casual game. Opening the app, I know I am going to put a lot of time, and thinking, into the game. The sandbox mode would keep me playing especially for when I’m burnt out on the standard mode. Essentially, I would play this game everyday if it had a sandbox option.

Fun but Frustrating. Great game that gets a bit addicting but there is definitely room for improvement. First, just a small annoyance… when clicking on the timer to bring up the controls it’s too slow. There’s no point to having such a slow animation to display the controls. Second, the most frustrating thing is having businesses pop up on completely opposite sides of the map constantly with the driveway in the worst possible position with no possible way you’d be able to have enough tiles to connect things. I get that the randomness makes it challenging, but some of the logic needs updating so it doesn’t make things impossible. I’ve had businesses pop up 20+ tiles away from anything late into a game with the driveway on the far side and houses pop up just as far in the opposite direction. Again, fun game, but hopefully they make some improvements so you can actually use some strategy instead of being forced to place the least amount of tiles possible. If that’s the case, then you’re basically just connecting the dots and it’s not fun at all. UPDATE: I downgraded it another star because it’s getting to the point that it’s more frustrating than fun. It’s literally just connecting the dots without the ability to use strategy to make traffic flow more smoothly since you never have enough resources.

Minor issues but LOOOVE this app. I Looooove this game. I honestly rate it a 4.5 but you can’t give half stars… passes the time quickly and gets my brain flowing too. The only thing I’d say that I have some issues with (for me) is that sometimes the app doesn’t have the maps that I’ve already opened available to me as they should after I’ve unlocked them.. for an ex: I should have the last 3 maps left but for some reason I’m back to 5maps left.. and this has happened twice now, and when I select resume when I open the app it doesn’t resume from the map that I was working on but it resumes from the daily challenge that I had started and ended like it’s stuck on that daily challenge map.. OH, also I wish you could switch the main building around like the little houses that pop up, it’s becoming an inconvenience when the big building pop up (bc they pop up randomly) and it ruins the whole flow of your road system you’re trying to maintain.. other than those issues I would’ve given 5stars EASILY.

Awesome Casual Game. I really like this game. It is very simple and pretty easy to score over 1,500 on each map once you understand the mechanics. I have a few suggestions though. It would actually be helpful if there was an option to upgrade the roads to a divided highway or a 4 lane road so that it could be easier to manage traffic on longer stretches of roads. Also there have been a few games where I have hit 1,200 points and then all of a sudden it will spawn a few of the same color stores and not spawn any new houses of that color. Or a circle store demand will just randomly increase exponentially and not spawn any new houses because there were no more stores spawned. In both of these situations the game ends within a few minutes. I’m fine with demand increasing, but the supply also has to increase. Otherwise, I love this game and starting over is a lot of fun because each new game is completely different from the last. I like that about it. It provides a new puzzle each game :)

Great on MacBook. This game really shines on MacBook. Love it. Unfortunately it’s best suited for a larger screen and not iPhones. It’s pretty annoying having to use two fingers to move around because I always try one finger and draw roads all over constantly. And not being able to pinch to zoom in and out is awful. Have to tap to zoom all the way in or out with no inbetween. Not intuitive at all. Also after doing the tutorial and playing a while I still don’t get motorways very well. Don’t really know when/where I need them. And it took a while to even understand how to place them or why they’re flexible. And I never pick traffic lights. Wouldn’t they not be as good as roundabouts? Traffic lights create congestion not solve it.. I thought. Also the game freezes when I leave the app and return. I have to close it out and re-open to resume the game.

Almost a 5-star game.. Here are my immediate thoughts after playing several games. 1) Traffic lights are useless. They take too much time to change and cause more traffic jams than clear them. 2) You should be able to see what cars are carrying people like you can on Mini Metro. On the same topic, I wish the “pick-ups” were dots not location things. 3) There needs to be a fast forward button. 4) I wish it was a bit more obvious that a house or building just dropped. They randomly pop up in the tightest situations and it’s hard to tell where later in the game with not zoom feature. 5) there needs to be a quick undo button. The current UX makes it too easy to drop roads accidentally. 6) I get this is part of the game, but wish you could rotate the entry points to buildings. Lastly, this game gets to a point where you can’t do anything to save yourself. I played a match where I had all my houses directed to their buildings and their buildings only and the buildings were producing more of a demand than the amount of homes I had could supply. This game has huge potential. Can’t wait for future updates!!

Love this game but Pink vs Orange is awful!. I really enjoyed getting through the different city types and once I did them all I mostly just play the daily and weekly ones now, which I enjoy. But yesterday’s was I think the first time I encountered both Pink and Orange buildings and I didn’t even realize they were different for a while because they were so similar. But for a little while I got away with it. Then at some point more “reddish” buildings showed up and I connected them to the nearest reddish houses or even made motorways to some and suddenly the cars wouldn’t go. It built up to the red flags on the buildings before I realized they were actually different colors and even then it was really hard to figure out which ones were which when they weren’t close together to compare. So even after figuring it out, it was too late and the red timers filled up and I lost the game. Very frustrating. One of those colors should be changed.

I only review one game a year.. And this one wins 2019. If you’re the type of person (like myself) who enjoys strategy games.... Stop reading this review and download the game already! You can’t go wrong with this one. For those who don’t like strategy, here’s my story instead. (Yes It’s long) I, probably just like you, recently downloaded iOS13 and was also curious if Arcade was going to be any fun/and or worth the money. Skeptical, that’s what’s I was at first.. and then I downloaded this simple little strategy sim game.... it had a very nice tutorial... NOT condescending like many other tutorials and simply got to the point! Love that. Then the game.. it’s easy and fun. If you like easy and fun things, you’ll love it. But you won’t get a high score, and they’ve built in a leaderboard! And so, I got arrogant and thought “easy game + leaderboard = I win”..... HA! The game expands in difficulty if you push it. Getting extremely complex and simply crushing me every time I start to get hope... I can’t tell you if it is worth a shot. All I have is an opinion... ;) but I played it for 4 hours straight and now at least one persons opinion was changed. I’m no longer a skeptic. Take my $5 and just let me play this thing. Thanks for the great game devs. Oh, and you readers, remember that leaderboard?.... Its a race! And the clock is ticking... so consider this review my “banana peel” *grammar

This game is 11/10. This is a really good game. If I didn’t have anything to do I would probably play this game. When doing the tutorial it seems like it would be harder than it actually is, but it’s actually pretty easy. Yes, it still gets more difficult when there’s a lot of houses everywhere, and you have to get the cars to their destinations when there’s a lot of a traffic, but you can just try again and and still have fun. My first round I lasted 40 days and got 304 pins. The only thing I would want in this game is a Sandbox/Free Play mode. I know that there’s several reviews saying they want this added, and that it would take a lot to implement it, but it would still be an awesome feature. I want to be able to control where the houses are, where the destinations are, have unlimited roads, traffic lights, roundabouts, bridges, and motorways just so I can do what I want. If you did add that then, I wouldn’t care how long it would take for this, I would want a map creator. You can put water down wherever you want, decorations wherever. I would also like a challenge creator. You can set how long you have to survive. How many roads you have. How many traffic lights, roundabouts, bridges, and motorways you have. You don’t have to do these things, but they would make the game even better than it already is. Now that may seem impossible, but it’s possible. To whoever reads this; Have a good rest of your day!

Awesome game, needs some adjusting.. This is one of the best games on Apple Arcade, hands down. Obviously the game is very new, so it’s understandable that there isn’t any other game modes (like Creative Mode or Challenge Mode), but that’s not where my issue lies. If the premise of the game is that if a car wants to go to a location, a pin is dropped on the location so the car can essentially get the pin, then why do I consistently see more pins than cars. I see this in every level where I have a location that has 10 pins, but I only have 4 houses of the same color. In addition, every time I start a new game, the location has 3 pins, even though there are only 2 cars. Where are those other pins coming from and was this by design? It is very frustrating because I want to grow my map, but it’s nearly impossible with buildings timing out due to not having enough cars to even get to them. Maybe it’s a bug, I’m not sure. Again, the game is awesome, I still play it all of the time, but I’m not sure how long that will last when I keep hitting this roadblock (no pun intended).

Updates will make it great. I enjoy this game a lot , coming from mini metro I actually enjoy this more. It has great potential to be 5 stars. The biggest issue with this game is how it goes out of its way to make things difficult/unbearable, I’ve had buildings pop up in tight corners and then houses pop up behind those buildings that become unreachable. Further into a game the traffic even if flowing is not fast enough to accommodate the supply being dropped not to mention how houses for buildings ends up on the far side of the map. Traffic light I’ve tried to accommodate but is useless, and when you need a motorway it mostly never is one of the two options. A sandbox mode with objectives would be great and then a free play mode with no risks would be too just like mini metro has, hopefully this is coming. A new road type would also be nice with a 4 lanes, one way roads and also a 3 and 5 lane with middle lane left turns. Maybe stop signs instead of traffic lights. This is a game about roads, transportation and logistics so hopefully the devs incorporate those things. Thanks for a great game with amazing potential.

I love mini motorways, but want more strategy. I have been playing mini motorways for many hours since past week. I love the game, but find it limits strategy. A few suggestions to the developer that will give more control to the player and make real strategy possible: 1. Associating number of commuters served to resources available. For e.g. the more commuters you serve, more road tiles are available. Another could be motorways, bridges, tunnels could charge toll which could be used to buy upgrades. 2. A model to predict traffic / demand. For e.g. right now a few houses can generate a huge demand and once your city starts getting busy, it is unclear where the demand for a specific building is coming from. An x-ray feature on a building to see locations from where commuter demand is coming from will be great. 3. Given there is already a clock, how about using that to simulate traffic? E.g. weekdays has more commuter demand, weekends more leisure demand. Or the colors could have patterns of demand based on time. 4. Ability to upgrade building to add additional entrances, especially ones that are serving more commuters. 5. Show road statistics to see which ones are more used. 6. Fix defect where a house can appear at the edge behind all other houses and no option to connect to a road. 7. Ability to build motorways by tapping start and end tiles instead of dragging, which is cumbersome in a big city. I will share more as I play.

Could Be Better If…. I think the game is pretty entertaining and interesting. I love games where you get to build and design things, and it’s even better when those things are actually used! The one major change I’d make is to add some sort of free play mode. You could have multiple modes for it. You could have a mode where it’s just the base game but you have unlimited resources to play with, the ability to turn on and off the game over function, and a mode where you can place your own buildings. Heck, you could even have a high score for unlimited resource base game. Other than that, it would be better if the game just had more content. You can quickly “beat” all the levels in a day, then it’s just a game of high scores, and maybe some people like that, but it just gets old for me. Maybe you could unlock new levels that have different things? You could add train tracks as an obstacle, a train could pass through a predesignated path and vehicles have to wait for it. Idk, the point is the game lacks content. Idk how much money these games make, but I pay for Apple Arcade, so is like the games to be a little more than the normal free to play games. It feels like a free to play game that’s just not riddled with ads.

Mass Transit Propaganda. This game is fascinating! I love learning how it works, but unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be much of a strategy at all. (Or the variables are so unclear and unintuitive that it doesn’t matter.) But that’s not a problem! This game is fun even without a clear strategy. The fun happens when you figure out how to decongest an area with highways or just when you grow your city! Unfortunately, there is way too much frustration by chance for how scarce the fun is. We need it to start faster and be less reliant on luck. Give us more highways! They’re the most fun part of the game! This game is just not fun at all in the first 3-5 min while homes spawn slowly. Give players more resources to start with, and accelerate the game more in those beginning slow minutes. It loses its replay value because it’s as boring as watching an ad in between games. It’s 100% impossible to lose as it is early on, so don’t worry about making it “too hard.” And I’ve had my most fun when houses spawned together neatly and stores didn’t wall off passages. Why can’t it be like that every game? Let us move stores and houses sometimes! If you ever get 2 stores facing each other, it’s impossible to prevent the congestion. And my one suggestion that would help players learn how your system works is to give us a sandbox mode!!!!!! I would LOVE to be able to test how do things efficiently in a sandbox mode.

Great game that ends too soon. I really enjoy playing this game. Very clean graphics, relaxing soundtrack, challenging space and time behaviors. The downside is that just when your city, towns, factories and streetscapes are finally flourishing — it all come to an end because the traffic lights don’t really work well; no matter how strategically they are placed. I’d like to suggest that: 1, the traffic lights should be designed to really help manage traffic based on flow and highest number of vehicle waiting to pass through an intersection. 2, it would be nice that if a factory fails do to a lack of workers then it should close and that area of the city should become blighted until you are able to successfully maintain other business in that area. Then a demolition power should become available that allows you to knock down old business and our homes that are no longer needed and that land could become useful again. These things would severely increase game play and allow a player to become much more invested in the welfare of their cities.

Great but with room for improvement. I really like this game. It’s so satisfying to watch a car go all over your little city just to park for a second and turn around, connecting houses to streets, and watching your place expand. I could play this game for hours. I don’t mean that I’m good at it, just that I definitely enjoy it. Of course, nothing is perfect, and this game isn’t an exception. One of my biggest complaints is the houses and where they pop up. I cannot for the life of me “win” a game. That is because the store for green houses will pop up on the other side of the map, where there are stores and other houses of other colors in between. Yes, there are highways, but you only get so many. I feel like there should be a difficulty setting, that way I can feel a little bit accomplished every once in a while. Really the only other complaint I have is that I wish we had a free build option. I want set up a city with all the houses in a way that pleases my eyes. I want the streets to all be straight and to make sense. I want bridges to enhance the look and not be there out of necessity. I understand that there is a lot that would go into this technically, and I know you guys have read this idea as a review before, but it really would make the game even better.

Awesome game!! Buttttt..... I love this game. Me and my brother have been playing non stop since signing up for Apple Arcade. I have very few issues with the game, but the few that I do make it hard to play for long amounts of time without getting frustrated. First, I’ve researched it and even though you guys say the traffic lights help improve traffic, I don’t see anything except it building more traffic because it’s shutting down one entire roadway, especially when multiple color cars need to travel. Second, they’ve both been said in previous reviews, but I really think that a roundabout should be added, as well as there should only be the number of pins matching the number of cars you have. It’s difficult to keep up with pin demands when when I have 9 pins on a blue building but only 3 or 4 blue houses. That being said , I LOVE the game, but it does need some improvements. I hope the developers take the time to read the reviews because I honestly think the game would be soooo much better. Thanks!

Awesome game, wish there was a few more features. I found this game highly addictive especially as someone who loves city building games like simcity. Managing the traffic has a kind of zen quality that I find super calming. The visual language of the game is spot on with each location feeling different through thoughtful color selection without being too pastiche. I do wish there were just a few more options like one way streets or roundabouts(rotaries). I also miss the time lapse feature from mini metro to watch the growth of the city. Finally, the navigation logic of the cars is a bit tough to work with as it seems like they all go for the shortest route regardless of traffic. This I’m sure is the most processor intensive aspect of the game and is maybe why my battery drops 20% after playing it for 10 minutes... :) hopefully there’s a way to improve this too. Regardless, someone has been destroying the high scores and I would love to see what their strategies are (hopefully not cheating). Looking forward to playing this game over and over as they provide updates and improvements. In the meantime still a great time waster.

No strategy just luck.. This is more of a game of luck rather than strategy. The randomness of the auto populate of the business and homes is a little ridiculous. Cities aren’t built on just plopping a house and a business anywhere. There isn’t any possibility of strategizing the roadways to keep the traffic moving. The traffic light is useless. It doesn’t help keep traffic moving. And only having bridges as a “power up” is a bit aggravating. There should be ways to make roads one way. The ability to move business. Or at least turn them. Create additional entrances. Or even entrance and exit only paths. Make some roads right turn only or left turn only. Or make them no turn possible. You could make ways to buy extra roads, bridges and freeways. An additional selection of traffic pattern could be a turn about. Could be the ability to close roads off so they can be deleted easier. And if a road is selected to be deleted then the traffic should automatically find a new direction. Or when roads are added the traffic already moving will automatically take the newer path if it’s shorter for them. There should also be a random land generator so we’re not playing only the cities listed.

Good Start - Losing Feels Like Luck. Update: I really want to like this game. The most recent update made it even more frustrating. I’m now regularly losing with only two colors based purely on the placement of the buildings, with nothing I can do to speed the traffic up. —— I spend way too much time on this game given it’s the same mechanic. It’s fun, but there are a few things that would drastically improve it: 1) the start of each game is like five minutes of waiting 2) the traffic does glitch occasionally, which requires a reboot to make it move again 3) there’s a bug with game center where if you play in airplane mode it repeatedly notifies you about your achievements 4) the nature of the controls means I’m constantly fighting Notification Center and app switching on an iPhone without a home button (add just a little bit of padding to the top and bottom of the screen in edit mode) Most importantly: 5) How far you make it feels like the luck of the random placement. I’ve lost at like 200 just because the same colored building were very far apart and there was seemingly nothing I could do. Similarly, I’ve lost because of placement and the inability to get a bridge. I wish it felt like I had more influence over how far I made it - more of a there is always a way to win, you just need to figure it out. Right now losing is a matter of time and the random placement influences when you lose more than your individual skill. Skill a good way to spend a plane ride.

Fun, but has some serious flaws. I loved the idea of this game when I read the description which I think is misleading. One of the first things it says is “have you ever thought you could fix traffic?” The implication is that with thoughtful building you can actually make traffic work, kind of like a SimCity type game for traffic. That sounds fun. But that’s not what this game is. It’s more like a tower defense game with escalating problems that eventually overwhelm you. You don’t get enough control to actually make traffic better; it’s more responding to the dysfunctional problems that you’re given until they eventually, inevitably, overwhelm you. That’s fine; nothing wrong with that, but it’s not the game that’s being described. That said, I enjoy the game and it’s kind of fun. I’d still enjoy it if it were described properly. I wish it were the game I thought it was and I want to find one like that, but it’s still okay. There are things that are really frustrating though. Stoplights need to work better. You should be able to make your own entrances to buildings so you can built around them. And you should be able to demolish houses. I think a version of the game where the buildings were random but you had to build your own house (maybe in designated areas) would be a lot more fun. Either way, game is kind of fun, but not a lot of replayability since it’s just keeping up with escalating dysfunction until you eventually fail.

Fun Game But..... Game is really addicting and relaxing however, when it turns into a “big” red pen theres literally nothing you can do. I had a direct motorway with all colors on deck going towards the new “big” pen and it just kept filling up nothing stopped it. Again all colored cars picked up that I had available through direct motorway. I don't understand I followed the games directions and sent everything there. No traffic. I feel like the game kinda cheats you by adding colors across the map with water in the way no bridges and even when all colors are out its not enough to satisfy the high demand. The demand is way over the supply. Its impossible if I do not have the supply how do I satisfy demand? I don't even get “game over” from cars jamming up from traffic its mostly from the above which is very frustrating. They should make the pens, once they get big to where it only needs maybe 3 cars immediately after that to stop it. Seems like nothing stops them to be honest. Once they are big, game over and I sit back and watch with nothing I can do to help my poor city :/

I love this game!. I love how much of a simple strategy game this is while also going for a high score. It really gives the feeling of those old addictive flash tycoon and strategy games I grew up with. The concept is great and the way you are allowed to map everything out makes this game not only relaxing but also fun and addictive. A few points I have to bring up is the lack of control you actually have especially mid to late game. Traffic ends up building up no matter what you do or how many roads you make. Shops will sometimes appear in really bad places that end up losing the game because cars can’t get to it efficiently enough. It’s especially irritating when these buildings spawn so far away that cars can’t reach them in time causing you to lose from something uncontrollable. A few ways to fix this would be adding additional mechanics to the game such as rotaries and one way streets to help manage the flow of the game. Additionally making cars follow the fastest route rather than the shortest or having this be an option you can select would be a nice feature. Additionally you could have certain car colors not be able to travel down certain roads and have this as a selectable thing. Perhaps making a different mode or even a sequel game with all these extra mechanics would be best to not over complicate this current game. All in all the game is great and there are many way it can improve and I have high hopes for the future.

Disappointing. Game has nice aesthetic. Seems buggy, and the logic and playability are not great. As for bugs, sometimes you get a traffic light at the beginning of a turn and then it is not available. Also, you can’t seem to access the tutorial easily. Cannot find it. As for logic and playability, where to start. It just isn’t clear what’s going on. The traffic lights, freeways, they don’t have noticeable logical effects. It is not clear what is rewarded. Are you trying to make an efficient network? Then it just isn't that clear why your network starts to get bogged down or what you can do about it. The road placing and delete function can be counterintuitive and glitchy. At some point the game changes dramatically and road tiles are extremely scarce after being abundant and you die without any sense of what you could have done differently. What ever the five principals of good game design might be, this effort is not embodying them. You get the sense this Apple Arcade offering is intended to get folks interested in their subway game, which is a $4 game. I suspect that one may be better designed but don’t want to pay to find out. Also this game is such a natural vehicle for environmental thinking, and yet they fumble the opportunity completely. Like, I wanted to create the most efficient network and the game seems to reward or force roundabout routes. That’s it for me.

Fun gameplay, poor controls. The game looks great and gameplay is intuitive, but the controls and interface are not. I'm writing this because the devs seem to take notice based on reviews. I want to love this game, but I find it near unplayable on iPhone and iPad. Two-finger touch would be intuitive to move the map if you could zoom in and out. As it is, it's all frustrating build/delete roads when I swipe to move the map because it's so zoomed-in during build mode, I can't tell where anything else is! The direction and efficiency of your routes become a guessing game, and I don't think that's the goal. It's a map-based game, so mirror Apple's map controls. It would help if in building a road, it wasn't all one touch. For example, it would be nice to drag to draft the route, drag back to undo and then click to confirm, but that may be over burdensome. I think that just comes from the frustration of wanting to zoom in/out. Anyhow, I cannot recommend the game as it is for iPhone/iPad players, only Apple TV.

Great concept but difficulty increases too fast. I’m not your average gamer, but I took a chance on this one because the concept was solid and the graphics were simple and well put together. However, as much as I was enjoying the challenge, the rate at which buildings populate is way too fast. There is a lack of gradual increase in difficulty and before you know it, it’s game over. Further, And I find this part funny, is that this game really captures the idiocy that faces our real world roads today. I think the game could be improved by slowing down the rate of new buildings popping up, and by giving the player the option to start on smaller towns first. That way, the player can develop a plan more or less of how to tackle traffic flow issues by trying them in a smaller population to ensure they work, rather than waste time in the larger cities hoping it will help. One additional thing, it would be great is we could rotate new factories, not move them, just rotate them, mostly due to the fact the parking lot/entrance allows for only one road and faces a specific direction. Overall, love the game, still enjoy it every time I have to start over, lol.

Before you play. Now listen a lot of reviews say that it doesn’t save and all that, but when I join back into the app, it simply says, “continue” One small issue I have is that when a building spawns on the opposite side of a river with a house on the other side, and even with upgrades I can’t seem to get a bridge. I eventually get game over and the process sometimes repeats over and over again. Now listen, sometimes the screen is way to small for my fingers and if you have this issue as well, I recommend playing on a computer (that is if you have a Mac) for a better experience. Do I hate this game? No. Do I think you shouldn’t download it? No! This game is a great game to play when you’re bored with free time at home or in the car on trips to pass the time. Don’t pay attention to all the negative reviews, and focus on the positives of the game. Have fun playing!

Great but could be better. I love this game so far, city building games similar to this are among my favorite types of games but this could be much more. I haven't seen how to move a stoplight that's already been placed, if possible at all. It's hard to place one though when your finger is blocking your view contrary to Jobs belief, your finger is far from the perfect stylus. Sometimes the game will pit you in a no win scenario. I had a building plant itself so the parking lot entrance sat between an off color house and two other buildings, only play I could make was add a road from the off color house to that entrance. This building effectively checkmated my game. Forcing me to restart or await the inevitable too few cars game ending. Finally, I would love a creative mode where you could place buildings, houses, roads, bridges etc to your heart content, if not that a traffic jam game mode that puts you in situations to work out how to improve the roads and fix the traffic

Trucks and trains. I love this game! Just got a suggestion, add semi trucks and One way roads. it would be cool with that. and I have one more idea could you make a new game called mini airways. I would be so excited if you could do. that aren’t a lot of airport airport games. As for the semi trucks, they can have two color truck depots that make any other color cargo and they will bring that color cargo to the one main big loading station. Then the cargo will be picked up by the color of the trucks that the cargo was. Example; the red trucks have a green container at their depot. Then depending on how much containers are at the depot, the same number of trucks will bring the containers to the main loading station and drop them off so the green trucks can pick them up and bring them back to their depot. And there can be more than one of the main loading stations and more truck colors, not just red and green. And there can be more color containers at one time at one depot. If you can please add this to mini motorways that would be so awesome.

Really want to love this game. I had a lot of fun with it for about the first hour or so, then I began to notice how hard the game works against you. I understand games need to be challenging, but this is excessive. I’m no civil engineer, but I feel confident in saying you can’t set roads up like a real life city in this game. If you do, you will quickly lose. The tutorial teaches you how to set up roads and that’s it. There is clearly a secret strategy that isn’t even hinted at in said tutorial. Traffic lights are counterintuitive. The game deliberately places buildings in spots that will cause traffic jams and businesses to become inundated, resulting in losing the game. Setting up the road for a neighborhood?....BOOM now there’s suddenly an upgraded business that will be inundated in a few minutes! Despite the cars pouring in and out of the lot: game over. I mean, it’s cool to have difficulty and challenge in your game, but I’ve got enough frustration in my day to day, I don’t need that from a casual game. Looks great though, and the sounds are soothing.

Mixed bag. My score is more like a 3.75, but I rounded up. This game is totally fun and addictive. I originally bought it on the Switch but wanted the bigger iPad screen after I learned it was on Apple Arcade. So I like this game enough to essentially buy it twice. It's deceptively simple while super-complex, the art style is sleek and cool, the sound design is unusual but totally on point, and it has easy (though sometime finicky) controls. That all said, it also has some sizable flaws. For me, its biggest problem is that you basically lose when the game decides it wants you to lose. Failure often comes because the game will spawn 2 or 3 destinations all at once and then not give anywhere close to the means to connect them all—so you either just have to sit and watch the game kill you or try to prolong the inevitable by “stealing” roads from other places and hoping THAT doesn’t kill you before you can replace them. That's not a ramp in difficulty; it's chopping the player off at the knees and then blaming them for not being able to walk. For such an overall well-designed game, it’s a disappointingly cheap mechanic. I'll also say it’s disheartening to read the old reviews for this game I just discovered because I see complaints written 2+ years ago about issues that still to this day persist and drag it down. That tells me it will never improve beyond what it is today, which is fine—I'll keep playing—but it means a game that could be “great” will forever remain “good.”

I LOVE this game!. I don’t very often right reviews but I read a review that angered me. The review from buggy2.0 said that they couldn’t “win” because the green pops up far away with things in between. Now, that happens to me to but I like it that way. If they were all compact, this game would be boring because you just put down 2 road tiles and you’re done! I mean like, isn’t this a puzzle game? But, there is one thing I agree with buggy2.0 on is the endless build mode for stress relief. Now onto the review. I absolutely love this game! It really gets the brain thinking. You have to find the shortest route and figure out were to put things. You can spend HOURS and not get bored of this because every time you play the same level, it’s randomized. This might sound like I’m putting out a bad review and accidentally put 5 ⭐️. Well I’m not. I just love this game!

Amazing but lost data :/. Love this game but after the most recent update/sync I appear to have lost all my records and as such all the levels except the basic ones are locked again :( this would be such a shame if it can’t be fixed as I’ve spent quite a few hours on it as a mindfulness app too

Great game. Great game, pretty addictive and fun. Love the consistent updates and daily/weekly challenges. I would love for a new part of the Mini series is Mini Airways where you have to build up an airport and direct air traffic. Also one like Mini Boating where you have to direct shipments through ports and such and keep traffic to a minimum. Keep up the good work and please keep the consistent updates it really keeps the game going for me and doesn’t make it boring!

Amazing Game, but one small Suggestion…. This game is super fun and quite challenging and relaxing at the same time! I highly recommend it to anyone! I do have one small suggestion though…Trains! You don’t have to add this to the game but it would make an excellent addition! You could have railway crossings, etc.! I would appreciate it if you (the developers) could take some time to think about this.

Its a great game but add more!. Its a great game i admit but you’ve got to add more like stop signs and give way signs for the end of the week upgrade that would really make it better. Also can you fix the traffic, my city always shuts down because of traffic i put traffic lights but nothing works but by the way its the best game EVER!!!!!

4.9 stars. I’ve only made it -0.1 stars short of 5 because occasionally the daily challenge doesn’t go past week 3? It’s happened twice now since I’ve been playing and it makes it impossible to finish the level. Otherwise this game gets 5 stars from me. I’m obsessed with this game, I play it every day, it’s really therapeutic to me and calming and it’s just a really nice way to wind down and relax after a long day. I highly recommend this game for anyone, I have it on steam as well. It’s gently competitive, and calmingly frustrating yet also really satisfying. If the 3 week freeze is fixed I’ll adjust my rating to 5 stars :)

Needs algorithm work. I came to Arcade purely for Mini Motorways after becoming addicted to Mini Metro. Congratulations on a fantastic game and concept. However, I am unlikely to stick around after Arcade free trial. The game frustratingly ensures you lose far too early, with malls requiring too many cars all at once too quickly, far out weighing how many houses/cars. It’s a game where you want to be able to have a sense of achievement but never quite get there with games ending prematurely... hopefully this can be improved.

Entertaining concept.. This game has all the right attributes to be something magnificent but the bugs and repetitiveness of the game are crippling it’s success. I really enjoy the game but it gets frustrating very quickly. I would like to see game modes and challenges introduced. Perhaps even a shift towards forward thinking rather than rapid response as building can begin to appear in rapid succession. I’ve also noticed since the latest update that there will be 3 houses on the map but 20 pins which causes the game to end rather quickly. All in all it’s a great game just needs further development especially considering it’s included in Apple Arcade.

Love this game, could do with extra features :). Love this game it’s very addictive and fun, While I love the different country options that are available I wish different options were added on a monthly basis, the game cousin really improve if a menu option to play as creative where you could create your on city with unlimited road line and limits . This would boost creatively within the game’s play of perspective Keep up the great effort with graphics and smooth gameplay

Updated review. Loving it. My previous review was that the game is freezing or crashing on me, see below in brackets. I haven’t done anything on my end but after a week the game now it works fine once again and I’m so happy as I love this game. All the original issues are no longer present. I love the roundabouts too. Great work team! (Game crashes constantly, game freezes, score always resets back to zero. Please fix as I love this game but this update is killing it for me.)

Fun But Limited. As others have said, the basics of this game are very enjoyable. But the current career mode (which is the only mode available) is a bit of a limitation. The game would be a lot more enjoyable (and gain a lot more re-playability) if it had some sort of Infinite Resources Mode or Fixed Mode. The Infinite Resources Mode could play like the current career mode but make resources infinite. While the Fixed Mode could load you into a map that already has the maximum number of houses and buildings on the map. Then the player just has to build the roads. The Fixed Mode could randomise the number and position of houses and buildings in each round to keep things interesting.

Relaxing, forward thinking game. This game has the potential to be extremely addictive with its simple yet rewarding game design. The main issue with the game only presents itself when you play a map a few times only to realise the game is (on most occasions) impossible to beat. The maps present you with buildings that demand more cars than there are houses or generates the building so far away from the house that even if you have a direct and clear route to that building, you will lose the game. The traffic lights also make next to no difference to intersections as well, making the use of them extremely useless. This game would be the PERFECT brain teaser if only these bugs were fixed.

My favourite mobile game. This is my absolute favourite mobile game. All the features, challenges and everything are awesome, and I haven’t seen a single bug or glitch yet. One thing I really want though, which I think would make it even better, would be a creative mode similar to the one in Mini Metro.

Actually fun. This game is quite entertaining, bugs aside. Sometimes when joining roads it’s starts acting weird. Also we should have the ability to pan around the map. So many time’s I end up switching to another app, because I’m building too close to the iOS navigation bar. Also battery drain is really bad, my phone heats up like crazy. Not sure that I’d play this game often as it stands, cos it will probably ruin my phones battery health.

Great game just one flaw.... I loved this game the moment I set eyes on it. It really addictive and the gameplay is fantastic. It’s basically a reboot of mini metro. You have cars. Cars come from houses. There are also buildings. You need to draw a road from the building to the house that connects. You have a limited amount of road you can put down. Every week you get an extra 20 road pieces and other things like bridges, motorways and traffic lights. The only thing is that there aren’t enough cities and towns to choose from. Sure, Los Angeles, Beijing, Tokyo, and places like that are amazing, but there are other places.. like Sydney, London, Auckland, Deli and other places that are probably feeling left out. Great game, just not enough places.

Challenging and fun. This game has kept me entertained for hours and I highly recommend to anyone, one downside is that it dosnt go for long enough, at about 1000 trips it gets quiet hard but it does force you to think ahead early. I would love a longer version and the option to keep the roads you design and make massive builds. Other than that I would highly recommend this game.

More fun than it should be!. The concept is simple: connect homes to parking via roads, bridges and motorways. However once the number if homes and parking increases you’ll have an absolute mess or roads and traffic that you’ll have to plan and navigate around before gridlock sets in and it’s game over. My only complaint so far is sometimes I have trouble making motorways on the left side of the map as they seem to get in the way of the touch buttons. It’s definitely worth installing and giving a go.

Great concept and fun but has some major bugs. Mini metro was well thought through and well executed. This feels like it’s neglected cousin - great concept but some major bugs like cars just getting stuck at intersections or exiting factories for no reason brings all traffic to a standstill. Also seems rushed to coincide with Apple Arcade launch vs being fully baked like Mini Metro was. Still gets 4 stars because despite the issues, still a very fun game to play. The only reason I’m keeping my Apple Arcade membership so far.

Excellent. This is a fantastic example of how a mobile game should be done. The controls are simple and fluid, the visual and audio design are minimalist but beautiful, and the gameplay itself is simple yet deep and highly engaging. Some more challenges or something to better reward repeat play throughs would be great, but that’s really my only criticism.

Love this game!. I love this game, it’s a great wind down. I wish I could play in the zoomed out view, I often feel like I don’t have a big enough overview of the area, would love to see this as an option and also to have a zen option, where you can keep playing and not get the overcrowding and you can focus on building your city

Love this game!. I am so in love with this game, but it frustratingly gets stuck very quickly at a certain point and ends. I would recommend in a far off future event that road bridges or overpasses be included so we can keep our traffic separate (for those of us who want to make a prettier map and get a higher score one day). Otherwise, fantastic. I just love this. My husband is so annoyed at me for caring about it more than i care about him 🤣

Almost Something. The game at first appearance and after playing for a while is great. The potential is there and i hope it develops soon. My complaints is it feels like it’s like completely up to chance as to whether you will do well or not in any scenario. I’d love to see the addition of more tools and even adding in public transport as a way to both increase difficulty and ease traffic congestion.

Such a good game!!. I love this game; it could only get better by having an endless supply of resources mode to be able to build your ideal metropolis, and/or a continue after you lose a level to see how far you can get. Some of the cities are masterpieces!

Love it! But needs career mode. I absolutely love this game! The one thing I YEARN for is some sort of long term city management version, a combination of mini motorways and mini metro. I’d love to see busses aswell! Kind of like an endless version but with more content and more variety! Please do this as whenever I think about it I get sad not knowing if the devs are actually doing it or not :( PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do this!!!!! I need a build your own transport city management sim!

Love this game. Colourblind request?. Hello Devs, I love this game and have been playing for months now. I sincerely appreciate including the colour blind feature for folks like me. But the colours available for choice are still very similar and I cannot seem to differentiate between them in-game. I very well understand that this maybe an issue just for me but if there are some fellows like me out there, it would be great if the colour blind mode had numbers or shapes (like the triangles/circles in Mini Metro +) to assign to houses and buildings. Thank you!

Needs an Upgrading Update. Mini Motorways is a great game and super fun BUT it can get a bit boring after awhile. It didn’t take me very long to complete all of the city’s challenges. To make this game better there should be more challenges and more city’s or even different areas of the same city or maybe stop signs and airports! With more areas and more challenges the game would give players more reasons to keep playing. I hope the creators of this game take on board or just look at my feedback to make this brilliant game even better! Thank you.

One of my favourite games!. Truely is one of my favourite games! I do wish you would implement a way to pause the game, i.e if you get a phone call or something. My other suggestion is sometimes it is unclear why there is a blockage or cars can’t flow even if there are multiple roads. Would be great if you get lives so to speak and get a chance to continue

Great game… issues with update. This game is great however some issues with the update is frustrating. There is no zoom functionality anymore which makes creating roads etc difficult and even deleting roads is hard. Please fix so that it can be easily played in smaller devices like phones.

Sydney. Mini motorways is an addicting game but it needs two things. first, creative. in normal houses are always spawning in the most random places. but in creative it would be tidy. second, sydney. sydney is the most tolled city (i think), and is developing and populating really fast. but if you do make sydney, make the motorway symbol look like the sydney ones, and make the number have an M before it. for example, M1, M2, or M3. so otherwise i love the game. PLEASE MAKE THESE TWO THINGS PLEASE PLEASE I BEG YOU. 🙏

Black screen regularly. I’m on a 10.5” iPad Pro and this app is constantly showing a black screen when starting a new challenge. This requires us to force quit and it works for a while before having to do force quit again a few minutes later.

Good game but could use a few things.. I admit the game is fun and addictive I even joined Apple Arcade for it. But it is a bit annoying that you can’t seem to have a creative mode/ like in the mini metro you can choose creative or endless mode where there’s no overcrowding you can just focus on building the tracks , and even place the stations where you want. I do enjoy the game part and trying to get more people moving , but it is frustrating too and I really think a creative or endless option would be great. There may be one I just can’t find it ? It’s a good game. It is a bit weird the people in the pink houses only want to go to pink places etc , it would be more realistic if the coloured people went into all different places and needed roads to connect everything. But I get it’s just a game for fun :)

Great potential but needs work. Like others have mentioned by other reviewers, this game is quite addictive and really quite simplistic. It however is missing an element to combat the repetitiveness, this game almost needs a sandbox mode, or something that I’m actually able to plan ahead as opposed to being reactive. This game reminds me of the traffic jams of sim city. Unlike that game which you can ahead.

Love this game - but game breaking bugs putting me off. Yes I love this game a lot, and would highly recommend - however I keep experiencing this issue where sometimes when I launch a game, pink pixels cover parts of the screen (i’ve got screenshots of this) and the game freezes, and it’s impossible even after uninstalling and reinstalling to fix. Sometimes I’m able to ‘play’ the game with the black screen i get and am somehow able to navigate to the main menu which repairs it but recently it hasn’t been able to do that either.

Great game but annoying I can’t buy it. I absolutely love this game and everything about it. It’s the perfect balance of casual and challenging. The only downside is that I can’t buy it in the App Store, I need to pay for the arcade subscription. Honestly I would pay $20 for this game to have it permanently. Hope they find a way for this. But overall amazing game definitely recommend it

Amazing. Absolutely love this game it’s one of the few reasons I pay for arcade. Only request I would make is sandbox mode, you added in daily challenges and they are fun and different, but I would love to be able to choose my own boosts and downfalls to a map. High density is definitely my favourite next would be double roads. Thank you for a great game.

Very Addictive. This is one of those games where, when you switch your device off and close your eyes, you can still see it playing. All the fun aspects of SimCity without the boring bits. Would love to see more cities in a future update.

Amazing game, needs optimising. This game is so simple yet so fun and strategic. Some features could be added to make it more fun and give people more content to play with (I don’t have any ideas). However, the cars pathfinding does cause the game to lag extremely (even on my iPhone X) and this effects my playing experience quite a bit. If this is improved on this game is easily a 4-5 star.

Great game but needs the ability to pause and play later. I love this game, probably the best on Apple Arcade, although the game needs the ability to pause your progress and continue later. A lot of the time I’d only play for around 15 minutes, and I’d lose a lot of progress when I had to leave my game. Having an escape menu where you could leave your game continue later would benefit mini motorways. I also feel that more should be implemented. Whilst there are motorways that can move cars over roads and buildings, and traffic lights to manage gridlocks, having double sized roads or the ability to direct cars would allow for more types of directing traffic efficiency. Great game, definitely should download. Never realised that directing traffic could be so relaxing.

Love it but…. I love this game! I would have given a higher rating though if there were more “ways to play”. I would love a mode where you have unlimited road tiles, resources etc. or even ways to move houses or buildings. There’s also a fair few bugs or times when the game makes you lose. Like when houses spawn on the other side of a river before giving you bridges. I also feel like you need more resources faster to actually be able to create a metropolis. I know some people love the challenge, but if there were more modes everyone could find the way they enjoy the most!

Simple additions. This game is highly addictive though i just wish there was a way to adjust the difficulty or add certain challenges and achievements because though i love this game, it gets quite repetitive and even if you are good at the game, there is no way to win and it will just continue to get more and more complicated until you simply cannot keep up any more. Very good concept though, and i look forward to future updates

Bug fix and features that need to be added. To zoom or move around it deleted roads and got annoying to short of time a tutorial is spost to teach not corse stress like for example I couldn’t even pass as the pins kept on coming up and ran out of time ⌛️ here’s a suggestion dubble tap to move around with out placing roads or deleting roads and to release the look around dubble tap again. Helpful hint for you If you fix , bring in the features I will give you 5 stars ⭐️

Non violent fun games. So many games are either violent or require so much time. This game is easy to play, fun and takes up as much time as you want to give. Only issue I have is the daily challenge. It often doesn’t include my score. I’ve gotten a few #1 which don’t get recorded 🥹😱😭

The bones of something amazing!. After playing and loving Mini Metro, I saw this game recommended to me and downloaded it immediately. I have been addicted to this game for the past two days, it’s so relaxing and fun to play. I would like the addition of more ways to control traffic, such as four lane roads and roundabouts. I would also like more game modes such as endless mode (available in Mini Metro). Between this and Mini Metro, I think the developers could start building out the foundations of a solid city building game for mobile devices, something I’d really love to see.

Great but a few things. It’s a good idle game and everything, I only wish it could save progress, that’s one of the main ones. It would be good if you can change the entrances to the buildings (not the houses as we can already do that) and when we remove roads when paused we instantly regain the roads rather than wait for a car to cross it, at least just in endless mode, the car can finish its journey first but we get the road piece instantly.

Great design but needs more!. Me and my partner have been playing this for a few weeks and loving it, but it needs more, although playing it over and over is fun and relaxing, it’s getting tedious and annoying rarely being able to get any higher than 1000 trips in one game. I want more options for tools to help ease the congestion, maybe being able to move the houses around , roundabouts, one way streets , more highways, just more stuff to make the game go further and build bigger cities. Plus some goals would be good, maybe that unlock more features to help grow bigger. Also on the leaderboard some are up to 8-10 thousand which is impossible and surely fake, and if not just make me annoyed that I can’t reach those numbers! I’d love this game to be updated with new features and I’ll keep playing.

Awesome But Needs More…. This game is great but it could have more. There could be other things on the road like motorcycles and busses and trucks and everything. Also there could be more places like London and Sydney and Rome and stuff. Also there should be a zebra crossing because that would be pretty cool. Also there should be multiplayer! If you add this then this is 6 stars!

Great Update!. I absolutely love this game from the makers of Mini Metro. It is a different kind of challenge and have enjoyed it. I do have a few suggestions however: - I still have no idea how to effectively use the traffic lights. They seem to actually make traffic worse. Perhaps a roundabout would make it feel like more of an upgrade/and enable traffic to flow better. - could there be more variety within the levels? For example a city with much more water courses. Or perhaps one that includes rocks or immovable obstacles to work around. - the biggest game changer I think would be the option to select which side of the destination cars could enter. It would enable more thought and strategy about how to maneuver roads and motorways etc. Keep up the awesome work!

Brilliant game. Firstly I would like to thank you guys for creating a fantastic game, with really new concepts that seem simple but have layers of complexity! However, the high score system. I have seen youtubers videos of how they obtain high scores, and it all looks genuine, however when on my iPad I try to replicate some of these strategies, the game just increases demand until there is no way to keep up. Plus one youtuber said that bridges only use one road, whereas iPad it is not the case. This leads me to the question of whether this game plays exactly the same for all platforms?

Nicely designed, but needs some gameplay tweaks. I really liked this game. You start out doing well, but the game sets you up to fail. It doesn’t give you enough road to connect everything, it outright stops giving you management items like traffic lights when you need them most, and gives you an excess of bridges when you don’t need them. The game isn’t particularly difficult to play, I just wish they’d let you play longer instead of withholding items you need.

Plenty of potential. I really love this game however, I feel like there are missing elements to the game. An endless mode would be nice. After putting in a lot of time into a map, having the game spawn new things in quick succession which are designed to cripple your network can be a little frustrating. Even the option to continue playing a map in endless mode after you’ve lost would be a welcome addition. More challenges or game modes. It didn’t take me long to reach the 250 points on each map. Challenges like reach a certain number of points without motor ways, or a rush hour game mode would give more purpose to the game. Right now I’m just playing because I want to but without endless mode there’s no real point to why I’m playing. Last one would be more maps or a progression of unlocking maps. It doesn’t feel right having them all unlocked at the start.

Multiple cities. I really like this game and I keep coming back to it however it would be great to be able to play multiple cities at once and be able to switch between and go back to them instead of resetting every time and wiping your progress.

Please add Vancouver city. I would like to have Vancouver as a map in the game as it has a lack of Canadian cities other than that I would say that this game is amazing

Fun but there’s a reason for 4. Every time I open the game I load into the tutorial and my progress from my last game is gone and my high scores have been reset back to 0 and the other maps I’ve unlocked from playing are no longer available I’ve done the tutorial 4 times till I gave up and just skip it, but deal-able But resetting my score and map unlocks is just annoying and irritating Please fix this, I shouldn’t have to play the same maps to play a new one that would take me longer then one session

Very polished but key problems. I loved Mini Metro but this one is very frustrating. Unlike that game, the counter for each destination does not go down when cars arrive to it, making it very hard to solve an issue when it happens. If you got your alert halfway red and tons of cars are not already in the way, you’re done. But the worst of all is the fact that it will very frequently create houses in corners that are already fully blocked by other houses, making it an instant loss.

Does not work. Screen goes black when I open the app

Daily game: Mexico ERROR. Sep 18 daily game: Mexico stops game at Week 3 .. no options displayed so game can continue. Please fix.

Custom Maps. Please let us to create custom maps!!!!! Otherwise, the game is really fun.

Polished and Addicting Game. The game is very fun and a wonderful addition that adds value to Apple Arcade. The options for colours add the right amount of variety to get you to continue to play. After you have played through the levels there’s not much that makes you want to keep playing. My suggestions to the developers for a perfect game: Endless mode - the game doesn’t end when it peaks but achievements are disabled Sandbox mode - allow you to set up your own cities and roads More Intuitive Achievements - just the standard 250 per level is to easy and doesn’t show the depth of game. An example of this would be achieve 250 commuters without motorways. Harder Difficulties: this can just be tweaked based on the maximum time before the game ends More levels: the levels are sufficient for 2 hours worth of fun but to keep it engaging more cities would be interesting. Toronto, New York, and San Francisco would be awesome additions. Overall very fun game.

ADHD Approved!. I have high functioning ADHD, with that it’s always hard to find a game that will keep me hooked! But I definitely recommend this one! The only thing I’d change about it would be a creative option! That would be cool! 😎

Really Addicting At Points. (no Bugs Found) But As an addictive person to any game, this was NO exemption, l personally wants some more cities I know Dubai And Mexico City Have Just Been Released, But I personally want Vancouver Canada, Maybe Sacramento, Or Even Hattiesburg! I Also Kinda Want Upgrading Roads/Bridges to like a Four-Lane-Road (For your Busier Roads…) FYI, This Game Is Amazing. Top All Time Games In My Opinion!

Melt your phone for high score?. Phone gets pretty hot 1000… not sure how people are reaching 200,000 without melting their phone or running out of screen space. Fun game though

Drains battery way too fast. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and it heats up my iPhone far too much and drains the battery faster than any other game I’ve ever tried.

Great game. Would prefer a paid version, hate paying for apple arcade. Also a sandbox mode where you place buildings and have unlimited resources would be awesome!! Super cute and love that you can customize colours.

Amazing and fun. This is amazing and very difficult at some points also love the night mode I would totally recommend this and it's on switch and steam although I haven't slept in a couple days been playing too mu

Futility of Single Occupancy Vehicle Planning. Pretty fun game, but my favourite part is how well it illustrates the futility of transportation planning for cars only can be! #WarOnCars #AllPowerfulBicycleLobby

Like mini metro, but not as good. Subways are better than cars

Drains battery. Fun game but it drains my iPhone 12 battery quickly.

Glitching. game would be fun if it saved my progress. i’ve been stuck playing the same map trying to unlock the rest. ridiculous

Drains battery super fast. Pls fix :(

This game is addicting, However.... I love this game, however it is very resource-intensive. After about 15 minutes of play, the frame rate starts to drop and the sound becomes choppy and staticky. I am running this on an iPhone X, so I don’t think I should have any problems hardware wise but I may be wrong.

It's becoming frustrating.. I love this game so much, and it's very addicting. However, every time i log out of the game and come back a few hours later, it brings me right back to the tutorial. I dont know why, and it be something i'm doing but its starting to become frustrating. If there's anything you can do to help me out, i'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Gave up on it. I was really enjoying it at first but every time I log in now, all of my best zeros are back to 0. It’s an impossible game to beat, no matter how well your traffic routes are.

This game is a blast… but. I love this game, it’s a fun challenging game that makes you think two steps ahead. I wish there was an “endless” mode where you can’t lose and be forced to start over.

Glitches. Game glitches when moving motorways sometimes. Has happened twice and cost the game. Otherwise is fun

Very fun and relaxing but one major flaw. This game is incredibly fun and relaxing until the point where you accidentally click restart instead of exit or resume. That wipes out your whole city and all the work you did. There should be a confirmation asking if the player is sure they want to restart

I like the game but…. I really enjoy this game but it won’t save. Every time I open the game I am back at the tutorial. This game is wonderful and I do want to keep playing but I keep having to restart. My achievements are there still so I’m not sure what is happening. The colour and sounds as well as the ease of the game play make this game a delight to play.

Please add pinch zoom out. Being able to zoom in and out in build mode would be very convenient and more comfortable.

Inexplicable game losses. This game is actually really fun. I’m in no way an avid mobile gamer and this game actually kept my attention for quite a bit. However, sometimes I start losing the game despite my city having completely fluid traffic, the game will continue losing even as more and more cars continue reaching the buildings and me providing additional roads to try to find the root problem. I wish there was a better indicator of why you are losing the game because now it just leaves me baffled.

Still some kinks to be worked out. Like the other reviewers, I sometimes lose long before the game ends, with no indication on how well (or poor) I’m doing. I also wish the cars moved quicker, as the traffic lights seem pointless.

Fantastic game, a few minor bugs. One of the most genuinely fun games I’ve played on any system in a while. As others have mentioned after playing for a while the sound and performance drops slightly. I imagine this issue will be sorted soon

Love the game but.... I really enjoy the concept of the game and the way it is executive, however it is frustrating for the game to end when traffic is flowing perfectly. The game could be drastically improved, if the speed at which cars travel was increased, or the rate at which cars are requested was tweaked.

Love the game, please add endless mode. Please add endless mode just like mini metro, it’s kinda sad when there’s no way to keep playing or modify after the game ends.

Free play. I love this game its rly fun i just wish there was a free play mode

Wish there were more levels. I love this game, I’ve spent hours playing. But I wish there were more levels.

Pinch to zoom out. While building out road it would be much easier if we could pinch to zoom out

Doesn’t work on iOS 17. I upgraded to iOS 17 last night. Now, the game started glitching. At first, the map was pixelated, and now, it’s a black screen with sound.

Free play. Would love if there was a free play mode like in mini metro

Best reason to subscribe to Apple Arcade. I’ve loved this relaxing and unique game since it came out. They don’t update all the time but when they do it’s almost always worth the wait, this time especially. Endless mode is implemented perfectly. High scores don’t sync between devices which is weird

Keeps deleting progress. I LOVE this game, but unfortunately it deletes my progress every time I close the app. I’ve tried everything to fix this issue, but I can’t find a solution.

progress isn’t saved. super fun game, i love playing it to pass the time but everytime i exit the app and reopen it later, all my progress is gone and i’m sent to the tutorial again. i’m not all too upset as my progress doesn’t take away from it too much, but it’s still a bug that’s really inconveniencing.

Recommend. I truly enjoy this game and the way it makes you think although I wish there was a free play option where you could grow the city without the stress of pins!

Addictive best game on Apple arcade. I love this game so much but I’d love it even more if there was a free play mode where you can place the buildings as well so you can make the best functioning city with even less stress sometimes I wish the building and garages didn’t just pop up anywhere and I could place them as I’d like

I’m love this game. I’m love this game so mush and I’m wish there paid version of this game because I’m can play this game after my arcade subscription end. Please make Seaquence to this game I’m will play it.

Game sucks. Controls are terrible, building roadways isn’t fun, they add houses and businesses randomly which makes the road design tangled and unorganized in a way that feels outside your control. Just go play a better game.

Plz add free play mode. This game is very fun and relaxing, but he need a free play gamemode

Game is great, challenging and has it depth. Another True Simulation Game without In-app-purchase and other BS. Thank you! Game has a high degree of freedom when managing and design the road layout, it even have curve tool! SimCity Buildit I’m talking to you. “Fund” is tight and you must put efficient and cost on priority just like in real world, it is challenging if you want to grow into a large city. Hope there will be more network varieties in the future updates like one way road, roundabouts and tunnels.

Great game but... Crashes often especially when all seems fine and a weekly achievement is about to be given. The frustrating part is when you go back to resume after crashing it reverts back to almost the beginning of the game. So disappointing. And doesn’t save your score! This has gotten worse since the last update. Playing on Apple TV.

Does not save progress well. I love this game it’s a great way to pass time BUT I hardly ever saves my progress correctly. I’ll have a level going pretty well with a score of day 1200 or whatever, and then I exit and come to it and I’m back at the beginning with like 100 points. This has been happening for a very long time.

Love it but needs more creativity. I love this game so much and I play it all the time. The only thing is I wish there was a creative mode where you can build the “perfect” town. I feel like this would really add to the game and be fun.

Lots of bugs. Really like this game. However there’s too much bugs too say it’s production ready and my the experience very frustrating. - all of sudden app freeze, and loss 10 mins progress. - all cars stuck. Have to exit game and come back to make them move again.

Infuriating, I’ll take 2 please.. This is so much more than what I thought it would be, I was hoping for a mind numbing way to pass the time. 1 out of 2 isn’t bad I’m absolutely passing the time but lord have mercy, this game is worth the Apple Arcade subscription by itself. Im so invested in this madness that I’m willing to buy an iPad just to have a bigger screen to play with. The Apple TV app is fun, a little more finicky but my phone needs to charge. It’s simple at first, but then the tutorial ends and the game just piles it on after that. I’ve had years of practice of overthinking to prepare me for this and it’s challenging. I’m keeping an eye out for anything else this developer has or will have. PUT THE GAME IN NIGHT MODE THE LITTLE CARS HAVE HEADLIGHTS THIS IS CUTE AS MURDER MITTENS AND TOE BEANS!!!

Excellent game with a fatal flaw. If they can get the flaw in this game fixed, I would give it a 5 star. Maybe they will with an update down the road. I have emailed the company repeatedly and sent in photos to show what is happening, no response. So what is great about this game? When it works, basically everything. Very nicely done. Becomes challenging quickly. I finally realized there are several approaches one can take on the road construction that adds a little strategy to it. I like deceptively simple games that involve some kind of building or construction. Keep the cars moving so they can keep emptying out the buildings. What is this serious flaw I am referring to? Traffic jams in parking lots, something we have no control over. During each game, a variety of buildings will change from rectangle to round. I call this going nuclear. It is a quickening of the pace. If you build your roads correctly, your traffic will more often than not move quick enough to advance the game. However, most every game, when an auto turns around in the parking lot of a gone nuclear building to exit, it will get stuck in an odd angle against the bumper of another car. This begins a chain reaction and the parking lot fills up with autos. Game stops prematurely for reasons to do with a programming flaw. I have also had cars stop in the road for no reason. Then cars line up behind them. The game prematurely ends because of some design flaw.

Addictive. This game is super satisfying to play. keeps you challenged it keeps you frustrated. keeps you entertained, and you could just sit here and play this game for a long time. I like the randomness of how everything appears because it keeps you challenged and obviously makes the game interesting. I enjoy the different color schemes that you can choose I enjoy the different cities that you can pick. it’s all very sleek. However and I think this is like a popular request that a lot of people immediately feel when they play this game after a while is we wish there was a DESIGN option. Let me make my own city let me organize it how I want!!! And let it be an option that can be saved for later. I can go play the different cities. And keep expanding mine cause what if it’s so organized you never lose. But wanna play a different game.

The foundation is there. -I wish houses demanded to go to places. it’s so silly that the correct strategy is to sometimes not connect houses. -Roads should not block spawns it’s again silly the correct strategy is build roads everywhere you don’t want spawn. it defeats the whole point of the game. Have the spawns that disrupt roads auto pause the game it’ll be a challenge to reroute everything. -Have no color buildings that all cars sometimes want to go to. It’s silly that the best strategy is to silo same color cars and building. It just doesn’t feel like I’m trying to solve people’s commute problems. it’s something else entirely. some kind of a microorganism sim where I connect nutrients (houses) to the nucleus. Which sounds fun if you go that direction entirely and make a new mini organism game. I still want a true mini road sim though

Please change things up! :). If this games purpose was for you to have fun it would be incredible. However, the creators purpose in mind was to stress you out for 5-10 minutes and make you lose. Why not a mode where you get to have a little more freedom on where things go? Like creators, you can keep your hell mode (which is what the game is right now), but give us some other types of game modes, like a creative mode for the love of god. This games formula is so simple and perfect. But why can I only play the same game mode just on different maps? It goes the same way every time, I get something going, then a building randomly spawns horribly, I randomly won’t be given the upgrade option I need, I lose, different map, repeat. Why!? Why not let people choose where some buildings go? Give us more ways to play the gameeeeee. I want to build a big city! I want to manage traffic without instantly losing! And I want games I pay for on my phone to be fun! Please change things up?

It’s setup for you to lose. Don’t bother. About 6 mins into carefully designing roads, traffic lights, bridges, motorways. Nothing you do can win this game. Well (have a longer city life) for more than 40 days. When the big timer goes off cars just don’t get there fast enough no matter what you do, or they just sit in the garage until it runs out of time. All you can do is sit and watch your city die because cars don’t move out the garage. Also can we place houses? It’s driving me nuts on how they are placed, I would like my blocks straight. Not looking like a game of flappy bird. Don’t let me get started on the unbalanced and unfair practices. Yeah put a house on the other side of a river with no option for a bridge until it’s too late. Also the space for a city is TOO small, It’s like setup for you losing. It’s so cramped that cars that actually get out the garage can’t go anywhere due to the cramped environment and one way entrances. Take my advice go spend 6 or 7 minutes of your life elsewhere because this game only disappoints.

THE MOST AWESOME GAME EVER!!!!!!😻😻😻😻😻. When I was in virtual in August when I was finished with schoolwork I would ask Jasiah (Josiah is how you say it) and if he wanted to play we would always play mini motorways and whenever we got stressed we would pause the game and drink water then continue. It was so fun!!😻😍 Please respond. Also I Have a few suggestions. Number 1:Please add a online multiplayer feature so players can together build a town and work together. Number 2:Please add a friend feature if you add an online multiplayer feature so online players can stay in touch. Number 3:If you add number 2 and number 1 features please add a tracker not for addresses but to see if friends are online and if they are playing a match currently. Please respond I would love to hear if there are going to be any new updates. Bye👋🏻

A brilliant battery hog. I really enjoy this game. It’s fun, decently intuitive, and creates good challenges. I feel like the computer is regularly trying to figure out the most improbable place for a store or home to exist. If you like strategy/puzzle games, and you find yourself sitting in traffic thinking you could do a better job than whomever is in charge of your local transit authority, then this game is for you. The only big problem is that this game destroys my iPad Pro’s battery. Literally obliterates it. I can play for maybe 1.5 hours before a 100% battery is gone. I use a lot of design/illustration and music production apps on my iPad, things that really push the processing power of what this device can do. None of drain my battery even a tenth as fast as this game. If I was simply reviewing the game, this would be an easy 5 star review. But the battery issue is a big deal for me.

An amazing game, but I have a few suggestions.. I love Mini Motorways. It is satisfying, addictive, and the design is cute and fun. But maybe there could be a little more to it. 1. Apartments Sometimes there aren’t enough houses that have spawned before the timer runs out. So maybe houses could upgrade in higher density areas to hold more cars. 2. Prizes Getting onto the leaderboard is a pretty big task, but there is no reward. Maybe there could be a prize, like a secret new map, or some other abilities. And if that isn’t fair, then maybe people could unlock those things by completing some daily tasks. 3. Sandbox Mode I would love the idea of creating a map! Decide where to place the water, mountains, and trees; set a difficulty; design your own color theme; that would be amazing! 4. More road features This game is all about strategy, and that’s probably why the roads are so simple. But maybe there could be one-way roads, land bridges, and maybe even roads that can go ON TOP of mountains (to a new feature). I think that these new features would make the game even better! I am content with the game, though, and I do not care if you do not add any of these features. I look forward to the next updates! Keep up the great work!

So much potential…. This game has so much going for it. Simple, clean design. Zen inducing tones, even a night mode. Where it falters is in the execution. Accidentally delete a round about? Well, you can’t replace it until every outbound car has retraced its route home. But no other cars can deploy to their destinations until the roundabout “clears” and I can replace it. It is infuriating. Also, it seems disingenuous to limit the number of colored houses available to the point that it’s impossible to meet demand. That’s not a game. There is no challenge to overcome…it’s insurmountable. Not fun. The cars also don’t seem to take traffic into account, further adding to already congested streets. So there is no way to redirect traffic around a backlog short of deleting roads. One way streets would really help. In the end, this game became more frustrating than fun and that’s when I know its time to stop playing.

Fun for 5 Minutes. As soon as you get into the stage where new locations start spawning faster than you receive road pieces, it's no longer fun. It becomes impossible very quickly. It says "city planning", but it's just a traffic system builder. The randomized spawning causes ilogical locations to pop up (ex houses and buildings spawning on opposite sides of the map) so there really isn't any "planning". More or less you just continually compensate for new ridiculous and maddening locations that just pop up. If there was some sort of system that controlled the patterns instead of complete randomness, maybe it would be doable. Another thing is parking lots. Parking lots on smaller buildings only have 3 parking spaces. Yet the demand for that building may be 10-15 or more cars at once while still increasing. With there only being those 3 spaces and one entrance. It's just a matter of time before the parking lot itself is the center of the traffic jam. For example, I just got out of a game that was lost very quickly after less than maybe 300 points gained. I had maybe 12 red houses, but only one red building. Once the building got a pin above it for having such a back-up. I used both of my freeways to go directly from the groups of houses to the parking lot. It didn't help. As soon as one car went out, another came in, but it wasn't fast enough and I lost.

Love with frustration. Really enjoy the game, but it’s like playing the original Mario where you lose all the progress you made when you die. Even Mario gave you a few lives. This doesn’t. I hope to see in the future, some way to keep working and improving on a city even after making one mistake. Also there isn’t any gratification of winning. I want to get my city working and enjoy and watch the fruits of my hard work! With this addition, my 5 year old would keep playing. He was excited about this game, but it got too hard way to quick. The highways are a little frustrating too. When I’m trying to move one, I can’t seem to not select the street underneath. Also I’m having a hard time telling the difference between the end of a highway and a stop light. Again, this game is still very fun and challenging. Please keep improving!

Please add a Creative mode!. This game is amazing, and you will not regret downloading it, but it is missing just one thing: free-play / creative-mode. The city becomes nearly impossible to maintain after a while, only because the houses will spawn in the most unintuitive of areas. “Are there the beginnings of a neighborhood in a certain area? — what if we shove a house across the river? I think that is a good place for it…” It would be nice if I could place the houses myself, or even have a co-op where another might place them. Maybe a easier difficulty setting, programming houses to spawn near like-colors. Again, this is an amazing game, but it can get pretty sad to see your utopia fall apart in seconds because of that damned green factory…

Great but improvement needed. This game is definitely entertaining and have kept me occupied in the 5-hour flight. But I wish it has a manual zoom mode pinch in and out with two fingers. Also the allow place to place roundabout is difficult to get. I know that area can put a roundabout in, but not only I have to remove all the highway and signal lights, one time I have to delete the roads too before placing. Also, I don’t know what the cars optimized when choosing the route, there’s clearly a freeway to get to places faster but the decide to stick in the traffic. One time my game ended literally because no car can move in the intersection. Lastly, the game ends basically when the city is “dead”. This is very discouraging and ignore the progress. I suggest adding a challenge end-game system, change each city to a goal-driven level.

Love it, please fix bugs. This game is awesome, and a superb follow up to Mini Metro. One bug that needs to be fixed is cars getting totally stuck and never correcting themselves. This is basically game over, and I've not found any way to fix them other than force closing the app and opening it again. However, second bug and unfortunately, now the game won't open at all. Stuck on the dinosaur logo :( Highways are also kind of annoying visually; I can't see and work underneath them. I also wish cars would recalculate their GPS more often when a new, optimal route is available. (Are they printing directions before getting in the car?) I won't ding any stars due to the bugs, even now as I can't play. Please update/fix soon!

A great game with room to grow. Let’s be clear, Mini Motorways is a great game. The concept is simple but well executed. Connect houses and businesses with roads in the most efficient way and let the traffic flow. Much like their earlier masterpiece, mini metro, this game is easy to learn and hard to master. I’m always happy to try just one more thing to improve the flow. The style, music, and feel of the game are excellent. All that being said, I would love to see a couple of improvements. As others have mentioned, there often comes a point when for some reason a building will “freeze” - even with a clear exit the cars won’t leave the parking lot. There isn’t anything you can do besides watch the inevitable failure of your city. What a bummer that is! A fix for this would be lovely. Similar for the repeated comments about how sometimes a business will open with too few houses to support demand, regardless of the efficiency of your network. Finally, and this is my BIG want, is an “endless” mode like in mini metro. Let me build and optimize without having to worry about the game ending from one business getting “stuck.” Call it what you want, but that is my preferred mode. Thanks for a great game!

Seriously lacking. Okay, the game is fun at first. When the novelty wears off, and it will, you will see some BLARING game issues. Houses and businesses are placed in areas where you cannot connect them. You have limited road tiles. Everything and I do mean everything about the game becomes a mess. Limited road tiles, limited traffic control, limited bridges. There is no free play mode. There is no option to put housing and businesses where you deem they should be placed. The time limit on the businesses is just terrible. And many of the “challenges” are a game engine throwing stuff around the board like a 2 year old having a temper tantrum. It could be a great game that anyone would love to play. The challenges they give daily go from nice and fun with a dash of challenge to completely idiotic. More times than not they are just idiotic and you go back to scrolling TikTok or Reddit since this game is so annoying.

Great with even more potential. This game is very much like the other reviews I’ve read: very fun and calming (most of the time). I find myself going back to it over and over again, but some changes need to be made in order for the replay value to exist. Just like so many other reviews, once this gets so far in (especially once you’re in the 500+ range) you simply cannot do much to change stores thats stock replenishes faster then the cars can get there. I’ve tried so many different strategies and I feel like continually I hit a wall at a certain point and there’s no getting past it. And I’ve found no use for stoplights. They only seem to add to the gridlock that inevitably will occur. If some tweaks are made to polish it up, this game will be an absolute gem. Hoping for the best and great work with the concept and initial execution!

Fun game but some save glitches. I really love this game even if you can only play with a subscription. I bought the metro one so I didn’t have to pay the monthly fee but it just wasn’t the same. There are 2 issues I have with the game. 1.) after I complete the 1000 trip goals for some cities it doesn’t save that progress. 2.) when I open the game it says I’m in progress with another daily challenge from December 23 and it’s January 19th. I went to the App Store to see if the game needed to be updated (it didn’t) and I noticed there are badges you receive for challenges you complete. For example in the game, Mexico City is one of the cites that my progress isn’t being saved, but the badge for 1000 completed trips is. Please fix!!

It Could Be A Lot Better.... This game is honestly one of the best mobile games I have ever played. There are a couple of glitches every couple of hours, but it is a new game. For instance, in the tutorial it will have all of your resources on the left side of the screen. When you go into the menu and then come back to the game. It won’t show any of those resources I mentioned earlier. It also won’t show the time. There are also a couple of different game modes that I think would go very well with this game. One of those examples is a game mode I call “Rush”. In this game mode you could have a time limit of a set limit of weeks. You would have to collect a certain number of pins before the time limit runs out. I just feel like this game would be a lot better if it had different game modes.

Mini Motorways Review. I think the game is solid and is fun to play. I have enjoyed playing round after round, I genuinely enjoy building my own city. If I could make a few suggestions I would suggest making more power up or ways to get across the map. I wish you were able to swap or move houses as well. I find a lot of times that houses pop up in spots that automatically clog the traffic. My last suggestion is for a game mode. I personally would enjoy a game mode where you can continually build a city without stopping. You could just keep building roads and keep expanding the city. Then make different cities that can connect and just make an awesome giant map. You would have to take care of traffic jams try to make a better route for cars. It would be a ever ending game of building roads and controlling traffic!

It’s addicting AF. However, I find that after you hit 700 points or so the game suddenly picks up... but TOO much all at once. Suddenly you can’t keep up because it builds too many buildings which start requiring an unreasonable amount of cars. Why this exponential increase in demand right around there? What it’s missing is the ability to take a look at other people’s “finished” cities in action, so we can learn what makes some cities work and what makes them fail. Also, I find that an “undo” button would save a lot of time and aggravation vs. just having the “erase road” button. When you’re trying to hurry you end up deleting roads unintentionally. The last thing is, they need to make the traffic light option actually reduce traffic jams... not perpetuate them! This game is far more fun to play than Mini Metro!

Fun...but frustrating!. This game could be a lot of fun IF - and I stress if - it gave you what you needed! There’s one city where you need maybe two bridges and the game continually gives you bridges and stop lights as an option (the stop lights are absolutely worthless and cause more problems than they solve). Meanwhile, you’ll be in need of an interstate and the game will finally give you one as a store is about to close. Good luck scoring over 1000...it doesn’t happen often. Also, don’t make your city too efficient...the game gets mad quick and increases demand rate to make you lose. In fact, the more efficient, the faster the game ends. I gave three stars because it can be fun...mostly...and is a great game to for an Apple Pencil. Hey developer’s! Drop the stop lights and give more interstates! Or at least make the game give you a fighting chance! I once had two stores that were round and one - yes! One! - house to support both...and it was on the other side of the city! Needless to say, my round ended shortly after. Unfair at best...cheating game at worst! I understand not giving away everything, but make it fair! Follow-up: after writing this review, the next day the developers contacted me via email. It’s good to know some companies still listen to customers...so I bumped this from three to four.

Better if you forget the concept. When I first tried this game, I approached it as if I was an urban planner. My score was dismal. When I thought of it more as an exercise in keeping separate roadways for each color vehicle, as much as possible, my scores got much higher but my map looks nothing like what you would want to create for efficient traffic flow. I see so little gain from traffic lights even with the update, that it hardly seems worth using them. To me, the biggest factor between a score of 2000+ and one that ends much sooner ifs luck. Changes that would at least start to make the game less dependent upon luck might include being able to move the driveway entrances for a destination, and having some form of power-up where you could relocate or change the color of an oddly placed house. Being able to increase the capacity of certain highways would be interesting, but I’m not sure that there’s time for such a feature within the game as it’s presently constructed.

Good game, terrible music. The game is strong overall, with reliable controls and good basic mechanics. Building a larger city over time is fun and challenging. Sometimes losing feels more like bad luck over building placement and which upgrades I was offered (mostly how many express ways I got) than anything under my control, though. It would help if traffic signals were more useful, or were replaced with something else. An option to speed up time would also help a lot to make the early parts of a city move faster. It’d also be nice to have more challenges beyond just the “tourist” achievements. The music, though, is somehow nothing but weird, sour notes. Bland or no music would be fine, but as it is it’s actively unpleasant to listen to. I ended up playing with it muted, even though there are useful sound cues in the game. Having at least an option to turn off the music would be very welcome.

Awesome Game. It really is an awesome game for your phone. I find myself actually playing it when I have downtime at work or before bed. I truly enjoy the experience. I’d also like to note. I very much so enjoy the entire arcade model Apple has rolled out. No ads, currency’s, or pressure for a fiscal transaction to progress. It’s just a complete game. Pure entertainment. You’ll find that with this application for sure. Now, why 4 stars and not 5? Especially when I enjoy the game? Well, you’ll notice early on you don’t have total control over traffic patterns. Like you can’t move entrances to destination buildings. Making weird grids that just complicate traffic needlessly. I also think traffic lights make the flow of traffic worse and not more organized (thus faster) like you’d imagine. It’s just these smaller issues (to name a few) that keep it from getting the full 5 stars.

Love this game. Needs a little work.. Mini Motorways has become the only game I play on my phone. I love it, dearly. I wish that the spawns for the buildings and the houses felt a little less random. I’ve been dealt some pretty absurd game-states and they are a bummer when I’m 1000+ commuters into a city and the RNG kills me. I hope that the devs continue investing in this idea. It’s the perfect blend of zen and stress. I wish that I had more control over bad situations that arise with my traffic patterns. The cars don’t seem to take suggested routes, or smarter routes — they only take what they presume is the “shortest route”. This would be fine if the game wasn’t entirely randomly generated. All in all, I love this game and I hope that there are additions that give the player a bit more leverage over losing situations. I need to be able to save myself when things get hairy.

Great potential, but serious problems. This game is very fun, at first. The concept is really cool and you don’t want to put it down, until things start messing up in the game. First, sometimes no matter how many cars are going into a building it won’t stop the red timer that ends the game, making you very frustrated. Sometimes cars won’t leave houses even if you have a way for them to leave. Also, a couple of times I’ve had buildings spawn on where I can’t place roads because the edge of the map and the other buildings. I really want to pick this game back up, but then I think about all the bs things that keep happening, causing me to not play. I’d also like to see different modes, maybe one where you can keep expanding the city, without the worry of it ending. I think this game will get better with developer help, which I’ll be very glad to see.

Almost Great. Mini Motorways really nails it when it comes to a fun, fresh take every game when you play. I don't have any gripes honestly and the game is a good time waster and allows you to think about your next move - however there are a few mechanics that seem broken. Honestly, the traffic light is a more a hindrance than an aid. It clogs up traffic rather than fix it, and if it helps for a long game I won't know because of the other broken mechanic which is how fast a building builds up tickets. Inevitably you will encounter a situation where you have one color to fill and all the homes are on the far end of the map. As the building requests more and more visits it gets harder to fill, and with no real quick path because of hard limits from the parking garage, you can’t make many paths sometimes. It feels like the building actually goes faster when it’s about to bust, and then when you get your cars to the building, it doesn’t help, even with 3-5 at a time. It’s almost like it’s a confirmed game over when you see that BIG bubble alerting you. It doesn’t feel fair after you work to get the cars over and then you lose all progression and can make it difficult to go for another round, because you know it’s gonna happen again. Maybe work on that? I’d think to maybe add bridges or overpasses for land like you do for the water as well, as that’s a real thing that gets people places faster.

Fun game, but repetitive.. I really enjoy this game! It’s a perfect one I can play to kill time at the office or before appointments. How the levels generate is great! Keeps you on your toes and you can easily be your own demise by placing roads in the wrong place, and having to get super creative to get out of the pickle you put yourself in! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I feel that it is super repetitive. I wish there was a story challenge mode. Somewhat similar to the game Outlanders (also in Apple Arcade) where you are giving tasks or objectives to do and only a specific number of assets to complete those tasks/objectives. And once you beat that level it unlocks the next. Currently every location is based on a “go until you fail” system. But I feel like I lose motivation since there’s nothing to gain/complete.

Mini Motorways. Wow this game is wonderfully satisfying. I can play it and lose track of time because it’s so intriguing. It keeps your brain functioning and embraces that puzzle side. I also enjoy the different maps. The colors are easy on the eyes too! The only thing I can say is the cars seem to delay when turning. I’m not sure how to explain it but it causes a domino effect and some busy intersections and once that starts, it’s hard to get it to not continue… I also like to suggest the idea of a sandbox type map where you can have unlimited supplies but the houses and stores still randomly pop up so it still adds a challenge of not knowing where they will load in. Or maybe a mode to where you have a specific limit of supplies to work with and then have houses and stores all spawned already.

Amazing ⭐️! But a few things thing.... Ok first off this game is absolutely amazing and i love it, one of the main reasons I got Apple Arcade was because of this app. A few problems I found... The traffic lights will hold up huge traffic lanes over nothing, For example, if we have a four-way and on one of those lanes there are 5 cars, on the other lane on the left there are none. The traffic light will switch to the empty lane for a bit, it’s going through a rotation. Kinda traffic jamming Also, the motorways. If I want to reposition them I don’t want to hold on the little dot at the end, cause sometimes accidentally move it while building roads and that’s kinda frustrating. Here’s some wishes. I would go absolutely crazy for this game if had a sandbox mode, this game would be one of the ones I play daily and hold as my Number 1. Also, when you get more commuters you get more road tiles to help with the growing demand of transit would be nice. And maybe add different transport options? Like planes (the airport would be the size of a double building space) also trains (underground and above). Color coding would be cool here. None of the bad things I said in this game inpact me to much but they are still kinda annoying. Thank you DinosaurPolo Club for making this amazing game!

Unfair play. Developers have the upper hand!. This could be a very fun game. The graphics are above par and the UI is very nice. However, the play itself is unfair, in a sense that the developers have created the game in a way that you really cannot get beyond a certain point without loosing. All you are doing is building roads. You cannot move buildings or the entrances to the buildings. This all seems challenging, which it is, but when the buildings are placed so far away from the color coordinated houses, and so few houses that when the “rides” begin to stack up and no more of that color house pops up, well then, your screwed. I have been in a situation, where, say a blue building comes up, and only one house. Then the “rides” are full, the “circle of death” appears-and still only one house for this building-then I might as well quit the game. This happens often. We should be able to move buildings, maybe once per. Play, as well as a entrance to a building. Make your game fair.

Love the game but there’s a problem. The game is amazing I would very recommend it but, I can’t seem to save it. I started play mini metro yesterday and finished the tutorial. The next day (today) I went on to play The real game and it made me start on the tutorial so I didn’t think much of it and I just skipped it. I play Tokyo, won. And closed out of the game I got on about an hour ago and my score was gone and again I started on tutorial. the I got frustrated. I played Los Angeles and stoped it in the middle of the game and pressed the home button I also went on the pause screen and when I came back. Again EVERYTHING GONE. I have been mad and that’s why I’m writing this. Please fix this so I can play the game and not have to worry about me loosing everything. I really love the game so please fix this or tell us how to keep are game from going away. Thanks.

Great game. I’ve been eagerly waiting for a new game from this developer since I got hooked on mini metro. I look forward to seeing what they add to this game to improve it. I have noticed one bug that is preventing me from giving 5 stars. I will be playing and doing OK and out of nowhere a building gets backed up and when I zoom to see why, there is some collision of 2 cars in the parking lot that is preventing any other cars from leaving so more and more cars come into the lot but they cannot exit. This is happening to me fairly frequently, I’d say half of my attempts end with this glitch. It seems to happen on every map as well. It doesn’t seem to matter how big my city is either. I’ve had it happen when I was up to 800 and with as few as 200. I’ll update my rating when this goes away, it is preventing me from fully enjoying the game.

Great, But.. This is the only game I play on Arcade. I’ve enjoyed it a ton. However after this much playing, there are some sore spots I personally need addressed in order to really enjoy this going forward. 1) The game ending when a store fills its ticker is very demotivating at this point. It really isn’t any fun, because there’s so little room/time to reconcile the situation, and reconciling it is the natural response, not giving up just because it maxes out. I’d rather there be some other consequence for when a store overflows, like all houses/cars diverting to only that store or something, creating traffic jams and pushing other stores into overflow. 2) Free-build. I saw this mentioned in a review from May, and I’m surprised I hadn’t left an older review requesting the same; more surprised it hasn’t been implemented after all this time. I’m not here to win & lose (thus the annoyance of the game ending from store overflow). I want to play around with roads and traffic patterns and constantly refine a map until it becomes really efficient, so that I can understand how all the moving pieces fit together. I just want to play. Which again is why termination upon overflow has become demotivating — I’m tired of starting over when it’s only one or two things that need remedied, not the whole map.

I love this game!. I have been searching for a game like this for years. But I have a few things that I would like: 1. Can we hook up motorways to each other and have some sort of interchange thing? 2. I think the motorway shields should accordinate to the country that they are in. For example, U.S.A has the interstate shield. 3. I would like to see cities like Boston or London come into the game. These two cities, especially Boston, are infamous for traffic. 4. Can we have ring roads and the perk to be able to add lanes to a road tile / motorway? 5. Can we have special upgrades for the map that we are in? Like UK has mini roundabouts and double mini roundabouts. 6. Signs? Like stop signs at junctions and yield signs at roundabouts. 7. FREE MODE! PLEASE!

Fun & Broken. The game is addicting but has lots of issues that hold it back. It’s difficult to grow the road network once you get further in to the session. The game likes to put buildings down in the most inconvenient places and corners of your map, sometimes facing a bad direction that you have to work around. I’d a house pops up across a river and you don’t have a bridge or a motorway you’re basically beat and you have no say in it. The amount of pick ups ends up getting to a point where no matter how well I feel I’ve optimized my roads there’s too many pick ups that I need and I get a game over for something that feels out of my control. Also, the traffic lights don’t really seem to do anything. If anything it makes the traffic slower unless you’re fixing a bugged intersection when your cars randomly stop moving. The game has potential but needs a few updates.

Favorite game in Arcade, needs some adjustments. First off, love the game. Equally relaxing and stressful at the same time. Soundtrack is on point and the visuals are beautiful. I do think there needs to be some sort of better progression system or more levels to keep me coming back aside from trying to get the high score. The traffic lights are also near useless and honestly seem to make things worse, but would love that part of the game to be improved. Also the amount of cars needed to get the countdown timer on a crowded warehouse doesn’t really make sense? Sometimes I feel like I send a ton of cars over that way and it does nothing and then other times I see only a few cars enter the waiting warehouse and it turns the timer from red to gray instantly. Again, love love love the game, but some tweaks would definitely help.

Was fun but ridiculously frustrating. This game was fresh and fun and exciting to play. After steadily improving my scores, there comes a point where it just becomes ridiculously hard and unmanageable - the locations of the houses and businesses are all of sudden flung out or nowhere near each other or in a locations designed just to increase traffic to a standstill , you never have enough tiles or other aides, or you never get the items you actually need on Sundays. A game goes from fun to challenging then in the span of two weeks it becomes hard then impossible which means you don’t play for more than 15 minutes! All enjoyment is replaced by frustration and anger at a game for just becoming ridiculously unplayable. If that is your goal, congratulations! I hardly ever play this game now after playing it several times a day…

Very fun! But needs improvements (Developer take note!). Dl'ed this game for the long plane ride to Iceland. It was so fun, at times, it prevented me from doing some proper sightseeing. That's right, this game is possibly more fun than Iceland. Really appealing for those who like obsessing over minutiae (in a fun way). However there are some much needed improvements that I hope the developer considers. 1) Decrease the opacity on the motorways. It's impossible to see anything under them and makes us miss important details like traffic jams. 2) Show the map after you die. It'd be nice to look over our handiwork after the game has ended. 3) Make the save feature more understandable. It's hard to understand how to save a game properly. 4) Fix bugs that makes game crash. Pretty obvious. Occasionally the game freezes and the whole game crashes, losing all progress. Makes for a sad day. Otherwise I highly recommend this game.

Excellent game. Performance can be improved. The game is really great and although some reviews suggest the randomness of the houses sometimes influence in the score, I believe strategy also plays a big factor as you can block houses from appearing in a certain area by adding unplugged roads. Randomness is good and keeps the game interesting. The only down side I see in the game is performance. The minute I started playing I drastically noticed how my battery started draining. So I don’t play this game in my iPhone anymore and instead use my iPad which has indeed more battery and I can plug it back to the outlet once I’m done playing. Please check what can be causing this performance issue. Perhaps too many calculations per-car going on at the same time?

Great and fun game, but…. Having spent dozens of hours in this game, I must say it’s overall pretty fantastic. I enjoy most aspects of designing and making the colors and routes as orderly as possible. However, there are far too many times where things pop up in such a way that you lose an otherwise perfectly running city. So many times I just can’t get to where I need to, either due to no freeway or no path. It’s really frustrating that way! I’ve never scored above about 2400, which isn’t much, and used to think it was more my fault. I think there’s some tweaking to do to make this more playable. After building hundreds of cities I don’t feel it’s my skills holding me back, but rather something to do with how the game works. Again, still love this game, but it could be improved so that longtime players can feel like they’re progressing versus hitting a wall.

Addicting and frustrating. This is so addicting. I have spent too many hours playing this. I love the simplicity of the game. I love designing a city and I love the graphics and the different color modes. But I’m also getting frustrated because I’m hitting a wall. I’m not advancing and getting better. It’s actually impossible because the game itself kills you. There is no incentive to keep playing. All of the cities are available, so I don’t have anything to work towards. Which I guess is a good thing because I can’t seem to get my scores any higher. Once the city gets crowded there is no way to get yourself out of it. There are never enough speedways or roadways. And the stoplights cause more problems. I’ve read some really great ideas in the comments and I wanted to add my idea. In order to make the stoplight worth picking, it would be cool if once the stoplight turns green the cars zoom forward really fast to their destination. It would help get rid of the traffic jams. Please, please, please update this with some better working power-ups or make it more editable. Or really any of the great ideas in the comments. I’d never heard of Apple Arcade until this game was advertised and I want to keep playing this game but my trail is almost up and I’m not sure it’s worth paying for right now as is. 😟 None of the other games really interest me.

You should make mini metropolis. Making mini metropolis would be a mix of mini metro and motorway but you need add tall building and all sorts of towers and making sure your economy is thriving and you have money to build buildings and like mini motorways you have a certain amount of roads. Also you need a population counter and there is a lot of natural disasters depending where you are. Then you need to have population problems like protests and riots and to counter this you need a police department. But you could also add crashes where you would need a fire department and a hospital to handle the problem and have crime and crime rates. Crime rates are basically where the higher the crime the less people would move to your town/city. I think this would be the best game for a while. Thank you

Really cool game with some huge annoyances. I’m really enjoying it so far. It can be pretty relaxing at times until the 300+ range where you can easily get screwed over by the random mechanics. The fact that I can go 5+ weeks without a single freeway power up is not fun when you get houses placed on the complete opposite side of the map where the matching building is. My last match literally had 8 purple houses all in one corner then the purple building in the opposite corner, resulting in me losing. That’s not fair or fun. Lastly the music can be very grating to listen to. Oh, and traffic lights literally make the game worse. They do not help at all. Zero. They need to be reworked. I’d like to suggest adding a stress-free “zen” mode where there’s no fail state, one color, unlimited roads, or something similar, in addition to these randomized elements getting tuned somehow. I’d love to just sit down for a while and build a city without worrying about timers and not having enough bridges or roads, etc.

Impossible To Play Effectively. Impossible to place a motorway if you need it to stretch outside of the very limit edit mode view as you cannot zoom out in this mode and it does jot auto scroll when you are dragging a motorway from your starting point the destination which nerfs them drastically. Also it way to easy to place roads by mistake and even easier to accidentally delete something and then you are screwed if you don't have an extra of that item to place back down as it will not restore the deleted item until all traffic stops using it and there is no undo. I mean if i am paused while editing and I accidentally delete something nothing is moving as tome is stopped why can’t i undo a delete or accidentally places road as you cannot always easily fix the mistake. This mobile version is a waste of time as the UX is horrible just stick with the PC version when you have a mouse and full view of the board at all times.

Conflicted.. I love the game. It’s super addicting and that’s coming from someone who NEVER plays video games. However, the game keeps glitching/lagging. For example, say I added a motorway to help certain cars to get to a warehouse. It will lag or freeze on picking up/dropping off the cars and ultimately force you to lose. The game has also said I’ve had warehouses full when I had plenty of cars in line and in the parking lot yet it just doesn't recognize it.. and I lose. It’s VERY frustrating. It’s feeling a little to rigged at times. You can barely get past 500 cars without a glitch kicking in. Sometimes you can’t even make it there because something crashes. Making all the cars freeze and stop moving. Doesn’t matter what you try you can’t get the cars moving again unless you restart. Orrrrr, a giant white circle will appear and cover 80% of the screen the other the toggles will stop working and the game freezes. I don’t know what going on with this game. But, it’s very disappointing. I do really like the idea another reviewer mentioned about a ZEN MODE option. it would be nice to build without having to start all over. It would be cool if you can do it regular or in the another mode. So that instead of “shutting down our city” we could be given the option to correct the error/ “build up”.

Great concept poor execution. Game is quite addictive you build roadways connecting houses to work buildings of the same color not enough cars make it to the building and a red circle starts when it finishes its game over but there’s just a few minor things that ruin the experience.. for 1 street lights are useless and hamper your cars getting to there destination And each in game week nets you more roads to place and 2 randoms that you can choose there’s 4 total more roads a us highway, bridge and a street light a couple of times my game chose not to give me any roads at the end of a week nd no choice ...another issue is when you getup into the 500 car range the game over timer ticks faster than cars seem to drive even over a direct highway tconnecting the buildings across the map overall tho it’s a fun way to kill time . This game could greatley benefit from a sandbox mode with infinite roads as tho your fans struggle to get far and when you do most game overs are due tithe RNG nature of the game

Really well done, a couple things could improve. I’m enjoying this game quite a bit. It took me awhile to get around to trying it but now it’s been my go to for a few weeks. I rated it five stars even though I think there can be some improvements. The randomness can be a problem sometimes. There was once that early in the game I had a business spawn on one side of a river and all of the houses on the other, with no bridge or freeway available. I just had to start a new game because I couldn’t see a way to recover. As another reviewer mentioned I’m struggling to see the value of the traffic signals. It would be nice if they were more helpful, as it is if I get a choice between a signal and a freeway I’ll always choose the latter as the freeway seems to be a much better way to relieve congestion.
