A Really Great App WITHOUT a Need For PREMIUM!!. Honestly i was skeptical about this app from the ad. I thought premium would be needed to actually enjoy this app, and then... I opened the app and realized it was not! The are TWO new free pictures a day, and only ONE premium, which differs from EVERY OTHER coloring app I tried and have used, (colorfy, sandbox coloring, ect. Keep in mind these apps aren’t necessarily bad) And the TWO FREE pictures AREN'T EVEN BAD! They’re just as good, maybe more so as the one premium. They’re also complex, not some crappy simple picture for a seven year old. Also, not all these pictures are complex either! If you’re looking for complex, there’s plenty. If you’re looking for simple, you got simple! These pictures are really cute and realistic too. I just absolutely adore these pictures, and I keep starting new ones! The developers also care. They respond too the good and bad reviews of the game, and are working on it. You will have to note there are some pictures that need an ad to open, but that’s ok. One ad isn’t bad at all, and as I said, there’s plenty of free ones. Eventually, you will run out of free ones, but this is a new app and they don’t have thousands of pictures like some older apps do. You could also choose to watch ONE add to get FOUR hints, which is great. I just ADORE this app, it’s, it’s amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it!

One of my favorite color by number apps. This is one of my favorite Color By Number apps but I do have a couple of complaints. My first complaint is the number of very pastel colors used in a lot of the pictures. I realize I’m a senior citizen and maybe that’s part of the problem but when I’m looking for a piece that needs colored but I find one and it’s a pastel I’ve already filled, it’s very frustrating searching for the pieces that are left. My second complaint is that so many of the colors look like they’re exactly the same. Are the people that create these pictures paid by the number of colors the picture has? Because often, it seems several of the colors could be combined into one. I’m not an artist so maybe there is a difference but to one of the average, they’re the same.

I loved this app.... I was addicted; pictures are beautiful when completed and it is relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable despite the ads in the free version but, apparently unstable. I’m not sure if due to an update or bug crash, etc. but, occasionally the app would freeze, locking the screen upon picture completion ; then, just wouldn’t open a all. I deleted then reinstalled, knowing that I’d lose all that I’d done but, the problems continue, plus some. I’m happy that this happened prior to purchasing the full app. I’ll save my money and get over my disappointment! The developer contacted me to report that the problem has been found and fixed so I’ve reinstalled the app with trust. Truth is that I missed it. Its slightly different now in that the next color doesn’t auto select as before, you must manually select, which is fine. Thank you for the response! 🙂

Very relaxing,great pics. Relaxing. Beautiful pictures. I really like the vivid, bright colors and there are pictures with muted colors too if that is what you like. I like the reds, oranges, yellows and bright blues. There are categories like, birds, flowers, landscapes,places,etc., and around holidays or events the pictures are featured too. There is a paid version or the free version with advertisements /commercials and the commer never interrupt during a picture. The ads are at the beginning or end or switching to different picture. The app holds your picture in progress-if you finish the particular number,so don’t skip around numbers if you can’t finish the whole picture in one sitting. Great pictures here with this app.

Nice Paintings But A Few Things I Don’t Care For. Although I see it is disclosed, I don’t think it’s fair to lose the free trial as soon as you subscribe. I paid for the weekly rate and thought that would give me two weeks to try but it doesn’t. There also doesn’t seem to be much help; like for example I was trying to find out if there is an undo button in case you color the wrong section and couldn’t find an answer to that question. Help file is very lean. Finally I would prefer an app that allow you to control the pressure/application of the paint and you just tap on this one to fill the areas. Again not a bad app, just not for me.

Amazingly Beautiful and Fun. This is a beyond wonderful app to relax and pass time to. It’s the only “for fun” app that has a permanent home on my iPad. The paintings are all beautiful with a wide variety of themes and color palettes. I get bored very quickly with other mobile games and they are deleted usually within a couple of weeks, but not this one. Any ads are spaced out very well and you still have a HUGE library of paintings to choose from if you remain on the for free version. New ones are constantly being added as well! I really appreciate the creators of this app for providing something so easy to navigate and enjoy!

My fave coloring app until.... Update: The developers replied and said I should update the app, but I had already updated to the latest version when I wrote my review. All my completed images are still gone. Especially don’t like that the colors don’t advance once you finish one, but it’s obvious they want you tapping in the color area more often because the ad is right there. More tapping means more errant taps on the ads. Still like the end results, but the app is not as enjoyable as it was and I’m using it less. This is my favorite coloring app. Just challenging enough to take a while, but not too hard, and a pretty pic at the end. (Although I never liked the obnoxious logo obscuring part of the picture when saving.) But the last update had the app constantly crashing, so I reinstalled and, like others, discovered all my completed pictures lost. Looking through the gallery, some that I had completed before are now premium, some are totally gone. Also, the find and fill hints dropped to 1 each. Hardly ever used those, so whatever. Honestly though, updates that take things away are just frustrating. The premium price is much too high and there are a couple of ads that give you a “close” button but nothing happens when you press it. Still my fave for the end result picture, but disappointed with recent changes. (Also, please stop the pop-up hints! No one needs those after the first two minutes.)

Love. As I lay here on day 3 of the flu, I thought it was time I sent in a review to say how much I enjoy this app. It’s great for winding down after work. My favorite pictures are the colorful ones, especially when color is used in unexpected ways, and pictures of food. I wish there was a way to remove pictures from the “In progress” section because it put pictures in there that I touched while scrolling and probably won’t complete. Also, would like the option to remove ones I’ve started and don’t like. I really don’t want to see them either.

Slow. Used this app for a long time. Some beautiful pictures and fun to do. However, after some time started searching for an alternative. The icons used are in a very awkward place, way to many interruptions with ads for other games etc., very slow to the touch when doing the coloring, and difficult to see the sections needed to color in compared to rest of area. Needs a more pronounced pattern or something. Although I love the many interesting pictures, way to frustrating dealing with the annoyances to makeup for the beautiful subjects. So in my rating I would give it 5 stars for picture choices, and 1 star for awkward and annoying. Because of this I have to rate it a 2 overall. Fix those two things and you’ve got me back.

Awesome!. This color/paint by number is fabulous! What I like about this app compared to others is that there are actual color schemes for each picture. 90% of the time, other apps use all the colors of the rainbow in one picture. This app offers Autumn tones, Spring tones, marine tones, etc. The finished pictures are works of art....very adult. I saw a review concerned with moving the picture to color better. I found this to be true using my fingers, but not much of an issue if using my Apple pen or other screen pen. Happy I purchased the subscription for hours of relaxing enjoyment. Update: I like to not have to zoom in too far to find the right spaces to color so I can see the picture develop as I go. So thank you for showing the active spaces as a checkerboard to find them easier!

30 hours in, this is how I feel. :). I really like the app. I would give it five stars if not for three small things that bug me. (I don’t expect them to fix all three, but I can always hope). 1. I wish ad-free was available as a one-time purchase as well, not just as part of the subscription. 2. I wish the travel and landscape pictures had captions or some sort of location tag, because I’d love to go to some of these places. 3. The buttons with the bucket and the magnifying glass are in slightly bad spots (but this might be due to either my old iPad or the ad underneath the buttons) which makes me accidentally hit them way too often.

Beautiful art, system could be better. Update 2 - now not only is it not working well in the picture with the ads, but it crashes constantly. Could be a 5 star app but it needs some major fixing to even get back to a 3 star Update: did the free 3 day trial and works much smoother on moving around the screen, so it must be their ads on screen that make it not as easy to use. If the cost was less to go ad free I would consider it, but it is way too overpriced as it is now in my opinion. The pictures themselves are great, with a great selection of free choices. The VIP pricing is ridiculous - a one time fee of $39 would be high, a monthly fee of that price is way too expensive. I don’t love the way that everything appears gray until you zoom way in, it makes it harder to find the selected color spots for no reason. I also get frustrated that it changes the color of the areas you touch that aren’t the color you use. All this does is make zooming in and moving around the pictures unnecessarily difficult. All in all, a good product that with a few tweaks could be great.

Amazing in every way.. I’m an App reviewer by hobby and I stumbled across this app, saw the reviews and decided to download it. Immediately I fell in love with every picture! The simple design of the app, the calendar, the free to membership ratio! UGH I love it. Starting with coloring the pictures are amazing and most of them are free! When coloring it’s super smooth and easy navigation with refreshed hints every picture. I have respect for this app because of the details that went into every picture. The saving is nice, experienced no problems and no critique. The membership seems perfectly balanced as well. Just a really great app so 11/10. -Kall

Fun at first, but not now.. This game has been enjoyable for quite awhile, but I’ve been noticing some of the pictures have an extraordinary number of different colors in it, and most of these only color 1 or 2 spaces each. An example is the picture of three surfboards with a circular, blue background. There are 168 different colors in it. That wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if the color differences made some sense, but many of these nonsensical colors also appear to be repeats of colors that were used previously, elsewhere in the picture. Maybe it’s more difficult because my eyesight isn’t the greatest, and even though hunting and finding the very tiny dots of color is OK when there are only a few of them, having to spend a lot of time finding them causes eye strain that’s really uncomfortable. There have been other pictures, such as the horse with the beige colored eye, that are equally distracting and, since there’s no way to determine that prior to getting started on a particular painting, this app isn’t fun anymore. Again, I loved this app for a long time, but I’ll be deleting it.

What happened?. First…what happened to the details? Used to be a lot of colors- couple hundred or so for the average picture. Now I’m seeing a pattern of 50/60ish colors per picture. Pictures are not as pretty. Second…the app keeps freezing. Sometimes I have to hard close out of it and restart, but my progress is gone for the current picture I was coloring. Sometimes it unfreezes by itself, but is sluggish/keeps freezing, which requires closing out of app and restarting. And several times during my coloring session, the app crashes, and causes my progress in current picture to be deleted. My app is updated to current version. My devices are all up-to-date. Please regain your quality. This has been the BEST coloring app for me personally, but I am quickly falling in love with another coloring app due to the detailed pictures and no crashing/losing progress.

Lovely, relaxing artistic activity. This has become my “go to” app when I need a soothing break from my hectic day (pretty much EVERY day)! Gradually watching the colorful painting emerge is mesmerizing! I love the beautiful scenes & artistic pix that burst into color as I work my way through the task of clicking the numbers to color-fill every space. Had to reduce my rating bec of one annoyance! Several upgrades ago, the developers eliminated a key feature that I enjoyed! They changed the way “completed” colors are tracked on the palette at bottom of screen. Colors used to disappear off palette as you neared completion, allowing the palette to shrink. That made it MUCH easier, near the finish, to toggle between the remaining colors (w/o having to scroll endlessly!) Follow-up: Edited review after helpful response from developer. Turns out the missing feature I’ve been complaining about for over a year was there after all! I was NOT AWARE that this App has settings that can be toggled off/on. So I’ve raised my rating to 5 stars & am delighted! ...BUT... also annoyed that there was no mention of this setting option when the feature vanished!

Used to be a great app!. I have completed almost 600 paintings and loved the app...then you had to include the useless, pointless FB option (I stopped using FB a long time a go) and change the dynamic of the app with an annoying reminder to choose a color that I wish was an option to disable. I have lost all of the hundreds of completed paintings as your app did not work any longer post FB integration update! The only thing left to do was to uninstall the app, then reinstall...that’s why I gave it only three instead of five stars. I hate FB or others (Google, Twitter...) who collect every digital bit of information and sale it to the highest bidder! By the way, your app crashed on my 12.9 iPad Pro.

Beautiful Pictures, BUT. #1. I’m giving this app 3 stars because of the fact that you can only upgrade the app if you’re willing to pay so much money a week, monthly or yearly. Now I’m one that that will pay 5to 6 bucks, possibly 10 bucks for a 1 time fee for an app. But I can promise I will never ever pay monthly to color a picture on my phone. Honey bottom line is, if I can’t eat it I won’t pay it! #2. Please get rid of the color change if I hit the wrong number or give me the option to not use it. #3. I would also like to be able to not see a pop up when I’ve found all of one number that’s says pick a number. Now if all the above was fixed I would definitely give it 5 ⭐️.

What happened to the pictures??. New complaint….Just updated the app and most photos all need to be downloaded. Why fix something that isn’t broke. What is the point to that. Sometimes i am busy and can’t play the app so i backtrack. Hate when apps update and make the app less fun and more frustrating. Old complaint Edit to add .....so the new update fixed the opening view of the puzzle with getting rid of the very large numbers it’s still distracting when you enlarge the puzzle and the enlargement goes too far out. Please go back to two versions ago before the large number change. Was waiting for and was excited to see this update but only half the issue was fixed. I guess I’ll continue playing my jigsaw puzzles until it’s fixed or find a new paint by number. Shame because I loved this app I love this app and play it every day for I find it very calming. I would normally give this 4 stars (not 5 due to ads). I just went in and the pictures look different. In light Of this i would give it 1 star. I gave 3 as a compromise. The numbers are too large and take over the photo and when you go to enlarge the photos the numbers get even bigger and there is no stop to enlarging it like before. This is very distracting and makes it no fun or relaxing anymore. PLEASE PLEASE fix this back to how it was yesterday. If this doesn’t change I will have to find a new paint by numbers.

Great app, contemplating subscription.. Firstly, this is an app that’s quite likable. Very relaxing, meditative, and something I’d use every day except for the price. I understand developers should get paid for their work but this is not cheap. I wonder what this would be like if devs took a longer view and priced accordingly. A great app for surviving sheltering in place but there’s only so much money to spend on apps.. That said, this really is so much better than any other app that aims for the same type of product. The detail is intricate and I regularly get lost in the process. I do a picture every night around bedtime so yeah, maybe it’s time to invest.

Change Highlighted Color. I really enjoy painting with this app and the pictures are beautiful. The only thing that would make it a greater app would be being able to change the highlighted color from gray and white to a more standout color. One of the apps I also use for oil painting allows me to change the highlighted area to one of six colors that are much easier to see. I can select yellow, green, blue or red checked or a red or blue solid color. Would it be possible to get these highlighted colors with this app? I use this App a lot. I just checked my statistics and I’ve colored 1069 pictures!

Great app. Need NEW content. Done all pictures. I got this app for my mom who is not a person who uses electronics. She is not well and has spent hours on my iPad everyday with it. We’ve tried other apps and they don’t even compare as far as artistic quality, color and ease of use. Being artists we appreciate the high quality of the art. She has done over 1200 pictures pretty much every one in the app. Despite the glowing comments she has been frustrated lately with the lack of new art work and the quality of the dailies. The “new” content isn’t new and the childish pictures are not of interest to her. She feels like she has exhausted this app and actually really frustrated. We’ve looked at other apps again but she just wants his app to have more content. Thank you for making a great app. Keep up the good work!

Who programmed this thing?. The gameplay itself is fun, but the experience is ruined by 2 big things. 1. I have never seen an app drain my battery as fast as this one does. This tells me that the developers are probably using some horribly inefficient toolkits to build the software 2. There are far too many interactive ads. And after watching the ads, every time you start playing, this annoying flying envelope covers the right side of the screen offering the ability to pay to eliminate ads. That stupid envelope is more annoying than the ads because you can’t swipe it away and it gets in the way of gameplay, and I can promise the developers that it makes me want to uninstall the app rather than pay. And get real—who in their right mind is going to pay 10 bucks a week for this? A one time purchase I might consider, but a recurring subscription is ludicrous.

Beautiful pictures. I actually paid the $40 a year subscription fee because I wanted to color as many pictures as I could. They truly are beautiful. I did this when each picture had around 24 colors. They updated the app and now most pictures have over 100 colors. This puts such a strain on my eyes, that I usually only color 1 picture a day now. I know that I can use the magnifying tool or the other tool that paints every color of a certain number, but that defeats the purpose to me. I would appreciate a few more pictures with less colors. That way I might actually be able to color a few more pictures a day instead of just 1. Not sure if I will renew my subscription now.

Intrusive ads ruin this app. This app is pretty fun and has some good pictures. However, the experience is ruined by the intrusive ads. An ad plays every single time you enter the app, even if you only exited for a few seconds to check a text. There are banner ads that sometimes randomly expand to take up half the screen while you’re playing, and there’s no way to minimize them besides closing out of the app. If you’re listening to music or podcasts while you color, this app will turn off your sound even when it doesn’t have an ad with audio playing. I totally understand that ads are how they make money, but they shouldn’t ruin the experience. Also, the cost for premium membership to get rid of ads is outrageous...$10 per week?! Finally, this app drains my phone battery like no other. Probably because of all the ads.

Return the option to clear grey areas. The latest change removing the ability to remove the grey from fields by tapping them has made the app nearly impossible to use. With a minor visual impairment, I would go through the picturing tapping each grey area, turning it white (or a lighter shade of the color selected) be fore starting to color. Without this ability it is very difficult to see the grey highlight against the dark grey fields. Please return this feature, or make it an option to change fields or remove the entire greyscale image

LOVE THE PICS!😍❤️❤️. This app is one I’ve been looking for. The pictures are so realistic, and I love that there is even pictures of Egypt. I don’t find lots of those, and I don’t find lots of parakeets in all the other ones. The other coloring apps I’ve been looking at are really cheesy and/or cartoony. I don’t mind the adds so far. The pictures give me ideas for my real paintings, so if your a painter, it’s perfect for inspiration. The music is so relaxing and just perfect for if you just want to wind down.I highly recommend this it’s perfect. I just wish you could do all the pictures without the subscription, but otherwise,it’s great.

Wish Pictures could be saved across devices. First of all, I really enjoy this app and all the features it includes. It’s become a regular part of my day and is great for taking a break and de stressing. The app works well and is intuitive and easy to use on a phone though it is a little bit of a battery sucker (at least for my phone) My biggest issue is simply that there doesn’t appear to be a way for your pictures to be saved so they can travel from device to device. For example, if I were to get a new phone and resownload this app, all my progress would be lost. Perhaps this is because I don’t have a subscription? I’m not sure, but it would be nice if you could log in using Facebook or email so that the pictures you already completed would be saved across multiple devices.

Very good game. Over the pandemic I got into doing paint by numbers and when I wasn’t at home I would wish I was home to do my paint by number. So I downloaded this app and I couldn’t stop playing it. It’s one of those games that if you enjoy it you enjoy and if you don’t you don’t, and what I mean about that is there is no problem with that app that will make you not enjoy it. There are barely any ads. The pictures are free, or at least I haven’t seen one that wasn’t free. The only problem I noticed is about the hints and helping features. Where they’re located is right by the painting and it is very easy to accidentally use one. I suggest that you should put a feature were if you click it you get asked “are you sure you want to use this feature”. Other than that this is a really fun addictive game.

Love this app! But want the old version back. I love this coloring app! This is my go to now out of all the other coloring apps I have. The detail in the pics with the different shades of colors make the end product breathtaking. However, I just updated the app and the new version took away the automatic switch to the next color when you finish the previous one. 😢 That was one of my favorite aspects of this app compared to the others. I keep looking for my next piece but don’t even have a color picked so it’s for nothing. It will eventually tell you to pick a color but still...I want my old version back!

Awesome. I do not usually write reviews but this one is worthy.....I sit on my recliner to watch TV and if I done have a cat or dog on my lap I need something to do with my hands....this is very relaxing. And the pictures or beautiful....I have had one other painting app. It pulled me in and then got to a point where I had to pay....I am not going to pay to use an app..... The colors are beautiful....I like that I can paint what ever part I want either by number or by section....I cannot say enough about this app....if you are unsure just down load it if you don’t like it unsubscribe....I figure most people will not unsubscribe

Favorite App but…... UPDATE: Thank you for listening/reading our reviews. You removed the tabs. Our whole family enjoys this coloring app. UPDATE: Thank You! The tabs have been remove. This has been a family thing to color. I really appreciate you taking feedback seriously. UPDATE: I was told that the questionable categories would soon be removed. “Thanks for your feedback.” Would you like to update your review. NO, nothing was removed. I’m so disappointed. This was my favorite drawing app. I have used this app for quite some time. This has been my favorite. I’m not sure when this happened but they added an erotic and horror section. My grandkids enjoyed doing some of these with me. Because of this I needed to delete the app.

Stopped working. I’ve had this app for a while and I’ve always enjoyed it. It’s a good pastime, although each piece is always intricate. There’s a membership necessity for half of the pictures and when you run out of freebies, you’re just stuck. No ads to get a pic, nothing. Got kinda annoying, but still was a great app. That was until recently. I jumped into the app a day or two ago and it showed the first entry screen of the logo, and loaded. And loaded. And loaded some more. And then, it kicked me back to the home screen. None of my other apps are having this issue. This might be a bug? I restarted my phone and it didn’t help. Sadly, because of this issue, I plan on deleting the app from my phone due to lack of ability to use it, and I hope that they fix that bug in the future.

Amazing paint by number app. I find most color by number apps to be too easy and more for kids. This one is so much more detailed which produces amazing beautiful pictures. The flowers and animal pictures are wonderful. More like Adult coloring books vs the ones for kids. I like the magnifying glass to find a very tiny area that I have missed. I am not sure how long that has been there, I don’t mind watching the videos to get that option since it saves what you have earned for all your pictures. I rarely use it and if I don’t want to watch the video when it pops up it simply goes away. I do wish there was an option, if there is I can’t find it, to turn off the music. Nice for those who want it but jarring when I first get into the app and my volume button is up.

Finally, something worth downloading.. “Adult coloring” ok, I admit, used to love to break out the crayons/colored pencils when younger but I prefer my time spent on something a little more challenging than a black light poster with a dozen colored markers or my granddaughter’s rag paper coloring books. I like a finished picture that resembles a painting or a thousand plus piece jigsaw puzzle. This isn’t a coloring book. Pictures are vibrant. Color pallet looks more like walking into a high end paint store instead of a box of cheap crayons. Subjects are variable from wildlife to portraits, landscapes to still life. And from photo image to classic art styles similar to Monet or Warhol. And free vs paid... there is more than enough free art work to keep one busy with 3+ new pictures released every day. Video ads are only when you open app up and when you start a new picture. Banner ad is small across bottom. Paid gets access to some beautiful art but I don’t feel frustrated or cheated by the free version like I have with many other apps. Only thing I would like to see changed. Numbers for colors remain the same font size when zoomed. It would be nice if they got a little bigger.

I was Hopeful. This app had a lot of good reviews so I was hopeful. But it did not take long for that feeling to fade. I started looking through all of the pictures and noticed most of them had little icons in the corner. Not knowing what they were, I clicked on the picture to find out. One of them told me I had to watch an ad to color those pictures. The other one told me they were for "premium" members and I can join the club for $20 a week! That's crazy! $20 a week! I continued on trying to find a picture to try. Now I really, really like dolphins. And I found one but I was really crushed to find out it was for the premium club members only. Just CRUSHED!! So I pick a picture to try out. One that wasn't premium or required me to watch an ad. Guess what I was greeted with? An ad that I had to watch! But I picked one that didn't require me to watch an ad! What the heck! What's the point of blocking some of the good pictures unless I watch an ad if you're forced to watch one anyway?! I think I'm going to remove this app.

Love this app. I really think that this app is exceptional. Good for the developers of this app. I’m unfortunately unable to afford the paid version, however if you don’t mind watching an ad to unlock a picture to do it’s wonderful. I find that time goes by very quickly. The pictures are absolutely stunning. If you can afford to pay for the subscription, I’d encourage you to do so. If you’re unable there’s still plenty of beautiful pictures for you to do. They are exceptional, not like some of the other apps. I applaud the creators of this app, and again I urge you to get this app I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. Thank you.

Great Covid 19 Stress Relief. I started play 2weeks before the pandemic. I love it and even counted 734 pictures I had completed as of today. I have installed and deleted several others that I was not enjoying making this my only coloring game. The game started freezing and I deleted and reinstalled it. I did not know it would erase all the ones I had finished. I don’t mind redoing them because I enjoy the app. I would have liked a choice in clearing them since I am trying to do all the pictures that are available. I was considering purchasing to have all the pictures and no ads. Now I am not so sure I want to since it cleared all the pictures and knowing if I have to reinstall the app again it will erase everything each time.

Almost like Photographs!. Last week I got fed up with the content of my old coloring app. So many pictures seemed to be of dark subjects. I ignored this for a long time, but finally got fed up. I went looking for a new app and found this straight off. I am very pleased with it. The pictures are challenging and all content is beautiful. When you get done, even though the work seems like a bunch of unrelated blobs, the result is stunningly beautiful. Only two things I miss from my old app: 1. In my old app, choosing a color from the palette caused the entire row to shift over so the next color in line was visible and ready to be used. 2. The screen in my old app was more responsive. With this one I sometimes have to zoom in to get a space to respond to touch. Neither of these things are deal breakers. I’ll keep this app for a long time. Very pleased!

App is great! Must download!!!!. When I first saw this app I thought that it would be like; color by number, unicorn coloring etc. But when I installed the app it was better than I though! I loved how all the paintings were complicated and honestly I think this app should have 5 stars. But I do have some suggestions; first please take down that ‘click the next color’ button. Or please make it in settings so that I can turn it off. The button always gets on my nerves when I don’t click it first! Also the only simpler pictures are the baby ones. I’m just wondering if maybe you could make a few more but in a different category. Thank you for listening. I love this app and it’s so much fun! This app also doesn’t only have around 15 out of 200 ( not actual numbers just metaphor) pictures that you can actually do without V.I.P. Thanks for reading! :)

LOVE THIS APP BUT…. I don’t understand why the new pictures are so cartoony! The realistic ones are so much more entertaining to paint. I have to scroll down to really old pictures that I haven’t gotten around to painting in order to find the ones that look like actual photos. Also, if I walk away from a picture in progress and my screen saver turns on or I navigate to another page for a few minutes, I can’t resume the same picture without closing out the app, reopening it, and then going to “my collections”. It didn’t use to be like that. You could resume a painting in progress. Not sure what happened there, but I wanted you to know.

Update to my previous review. I think I reviewed this previously but can’t find it. Anyway, I’ve decided to update my old review because now that I’ve used it a while, I find I like it better than all other paint by numbers. Previously, I stated that it was hard to tell the shaded area for the number and color you’re working on from all the others. It shows up a lot better if you make the screen bigger and focused in more. Which I was wanting to do it without doing that but that would defeat the purpose of it being challenging I guess. And now that I think about how much fun it is, the price isn’t bad for the yearly subscription. I’m just wondering if I would do more than was available at a time then lol.

Love this app!. I love this app and purchased the annual subscription - well worth it. I have a couple of suggestions: there should be more than 2 new pictures a day for subscribers; once you finish a color, the next color should automatically be highlighted (I can’t tell you how many times I finished a color not realizing it and I am still looking for more when it’s actually waiting for me to pick another color ☺️) and last suggestion is to allow a choice of colors for the shaded areas representing the current chosen color, oftentimes the gray is just too hard to see. A great app. I've really enjoyed this app. It's relaxing and easy to use. However, after the last update is now missing an important feature. Previously, when you completed a color the next color would automatically be highlighted and show gray in the picture. Now, you have to manually click on the next color to make it show gray in the picture. Please fix this so that is automatic again. I find myself scrolling through the picture looking for more of the color I was working on only to find it's completed and I need to manually select the next color. It's a waste of time not to have it automatically to the next color. Thank you.

Oil Painting by Number. Thank you so much! I love all of your pictures and enjoy deciding which one to do next. I am retired and always busy and can't wait to log on to my iPad to finish one picture and start another one. The colors are beautiful on all of the pictures I have done. I was always concerned about losing my pictures, so I try to remember to save each one in one of my iPad photo albums - just for me to look at. When I save my picture, I am asked if I would like to share in Face Book. All of my high school graduating class follows Face Book. I get so many really nice comments from so many people that I can't read all of them. It really makes me feel good and figure it sends customers your way. I have sent a couple of my pictures to my little 5 year old Granddaughter and Daughter for Thanksgiving and Christmas and they loved them. I hope that was okay and not a problem! Would be 5 star but….. It glitches. It’s not even the ads that causes it to hang up. It’s the option to receive 2 magnifying glasses that help you find whatever color you’re on. Good for trying to find a very small, last piece. But when it pops up and gives you the option to select it before the circle completes, it glitches the game. I can’t move the screen or change colors until it stops and goes away. It makes it super annoying at times. Especially when I’m trying to use it to unwind. It fantastic otherwise and if they fix this I’ll come back and give it 5 stars.

Almost perfect. Of all the color by number apps I subscribe to this is the best. While it is a bit more challenging than most, the end result is more than worth the effort. The colors are exquisite and pristine and the app is 100% reliable. What might make it perfect is a few more options on shading, an option to auto forward to next color , a counter of some sort on the number remaining for each numbered color and perhaps a small popping type noise alert when a number is completed. Any of these options would be beneficial to your more advanced in age clientele which I suspect is the bulk of your paying customers. But all in all a high quality app!

Fix Fix Fix. Alright, I am a weekly subscriber and began using the app with an iphone xs max. I got the new iphone 11 pro, transferred my apps and information over with almost no issues. After data transfer to new phone, my previously completed pictures (and current pictures in progress) showed up fine but i no longer received the facebook messenger pictures. So i deleted the app in order re-install it hoping that i could get the facebook messenger to reset and begin sending me pictures again. Sadly, when i booted up the app, i hit restore purchase option and the app said it did restore the purchase, BUT ALL THE PICTURES I HAVE PAINTED SINCE JULY HAVE DISAPPEARED ALONG WITH MY CURRENT ONES IN PROGRESS. There is no specific option to “log in” and now nothing i have done is apparently saved and here i am paying ridiculous $4 per week for this foolishness. If this nonsense can’t be fixed i want my money back.

Two steps forward, one step back. Really like these pictures—they are beautiful! I was impressed how nice they were, with 24 or fewer colors, then suddenly there are often over 100, which seemed to me like overkill. I was going to suggest that the selected color cell be patterned instead of a solid grey, when bam! That feature was added! But the numbers don’t get any bigger when expanded, but at least they are a contrasting color, which helps. I also really liked that the next color got selected automatically, then that was taken away. Manual selection was already possible, so why?

I love this game. But needs something new.... This game is great for passing by time or something to do if you are really bored. One major problem is that you need to have internet to be able to paint any of the pictures. As soon as you fill one spot in, you can use it where you please (plain, outside, etc...) I do think the developers need to a feature as to where you can color your own photos. As in choosing a photo from your camera roll, having the app split it up into different colors, and you can decide the difficulty. AKA, be more detailed with more colors, or less detailed with less colors. And then you can paint away. I would love this feature. Other than that, great game. I do recommend this game to others. Also I’ve noticed a lot of reviews about ads. Just turn on airplane mode when playing. It saves battery and disables ads.

Great App but too expensive. I love this app. Helps me relax each night. But $10 a week is way too much to ask for. Especially during a pandemic. Please think about lowering your costs.

Can’t turn to landscape mode. I use this app on another iPad and it works fine, but on this one I have just downloaded it and it will not turn from portrait to landscape mode. I have checked and orientation lock is off on the iPad

Longtime fan, though not keen on the update…. My mum and I have been enjoying this for quite some time. There must be a new update, as there is a +2 symbol that appears on the left every couple of minutes which is not so relaxing! The ads before were slightly distracting, but this is too hard to filter out.

Relaxing, fun but WAY too expensive. I love this game very much I think this is a 5 star game as you can see. But the premium membership is just a RIDICULOUS price I would buy it but the one I was going to buy was $63!!! If It didnt cost so much I would buy it and get the respect this game deserve. Awesome app!!. Love this app!! Only 2 big disappointments for me....... 1. The cost of the subscription is really expensive And 2. I wish I could sync the app between my iPhone and iPad Other than those two things.....brilliant app. I use it a lot when waiting to get into an appointment and before I go to sleep.

Lost work. What a waste of time. Hours and hours of work just to have them do an upgrade which wiped out everything. Oh well that’s one app that won’t be reloaded on this iPad again After two so called fixes has resulted in NO DIFFERENCE. Why can’t you accept you have stuffed up and realise there are many many upset users. Perhaps you should be concentrating on the geek that did the update that lost all the data and the date it happened. Then look at your server backups and restore the data to before the stuff up.

Question. Love the pictures but since I updated the app last week half of the pictures won’t open. It seems to be frozen. What can I do to fix this issue?

Oil Painting Color by Numbers. Great App, very relaxing and well worth the annual subscription. Loved the Masterpieces, some I recognised, others I didn’t remember. I Needed This. I had no idea just how calming this is. I’m completely at ease, totally relaxed. Never have I enjoyed colouring-in so much. Recommend to everyone needing a break.

Great for distraction & killing time. At first I didn’t see much point to the game but it grew on me. You may ask ‘what’s the challenge?’ I find challenge in strategising how to be quicker either through colour batches or moving through pic areas numerically.

Fun but expensive. The game it fun and relaxing, and the images are very pretty and detailed. However, the price for the monthly, and especially weekly service is WAY too expensive for a game like this. It is nice that you can unlock some images with videos, but since most of the amazing images are locked behind a pay wall you cant unlock any other way, it makes me want to delete it since now im just bored with all the free, and video images i can color, which is quite sad.

Things that can be improved. This is a good paint-by-numbers game and am enjoying it. There are things that could improve to the next level such as being able to play offline and having simpler artwork when you just want a 5-10 minute activity.

Love it BUT.... The only downsides are the ads and the subscriptions are horrendously over priced regardless of whether you choose weekly, monthly or yearly. Some good pics to colour and some take a while but it’s worth that part at least.

Magnifying glass(search icon). I absolutely love the finished result of the picture they are beautiful art. But I seem to remember not to long ago having 3 magnifying glasses for each picture. After a month or so I comeback, the it doesn’t seem to replenish for each picture. So now it’s 3 magnifying glasses for ALL pictures instead of 3 for every single picture. This is sad and unfair.

Fabulous app but found one flaw. To the developers - painting for 18 December 2020 - has one colour number 83- which won’t colour. Could that be fixed please ? Thanks very much for your prompt and helpful reply. I used the bucket and the problem has resolved.

Please help!. When I updated the app to the newest version it keeps freezing and rebooting doesn’t help. As it is now I can’t use it.

I have old pictures that doesn’t work on this new version. This new version that I download doesn’t work, because I have old colouring pictures that I haven’t done yet. eg. Christmas Day, Halloween day, it doesn’t open up.

Paint by numbers oil patting. This is the 3rd time I have downloaded this app. It has a tenancy of freezing when you re-load All the pictures that you have completed are gone really disappointed in this app for doing that

Loved this app. I really loved this app, the pictures are very realistic, great range of topics and I find colouring very calming. However, the problem I now have is that when the app updated to the 1.3.0 recently it no longer works on my iPhone. I checked the requirements and it says it should work on my phone but it doesn’t anymore 😢

I love it but would add time lapse. It’s the best colouring app I’ve found, I love all the images and there’s a huge range that you can get for free so it’s never even a worry. The one thing that would make it PERFECT is a time lapse at the end when you finish. Lots of other apps have it and honestly I think it was my favourite bit. You get to colour in and then you get to watch a quick time lapse of how you coloured it in. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, especially if you start at corner and work your way across or something. I loved colouring based on how I wanted to see the time lapse at the end, it was great. So if I could add one thing it would be that and the app would be absolutely perfect. Please!?

Great way to unwind. I love this app. The free pictures are great and while I can’t afford to subscribe weekly every now and then I can splurge..big thank you to the developers for making it even better by adding more colours...highly recommend

Beautiful, but way too pricey.. I love this colour by number game more than any others I’ve played so far, but the premium price is crazy. I would be happy to pay the weekly price as a monthly. You would get much more subscribers at a lower price. A lower price and it would definitely be 5 stars.

Beautiful app.. Just a lovely way to unwind in the evenings, lovely pictures, an array of colours also. The finished picture is outstanding. Two free pictures a day is ample for myself, but options to buy complete sets of pics very reasonably priced. Recommend this for sure.

A slight bug. Since the latest update, the continue the current picture button just doesn’t work. The pop up box stays up and I have to completely exit the app to make it go away.

Best paint by colours app out there. I find it very hard to turn this app off. There are hundreds of stunning pics to paint & some that aren’t my thing but there is a new photo daily & more can be got on the Facebook link. A lot of really good ones can only be accessed if you are subscribed & I think from memory the subscription is around $15per week but I can’t afford that Australian. It is cheaper to pay for a years subscription but I can’t afford that either. This is by far the best colour by numbers I’ve ever played. Great job guys 👍🏼

Update. I rated this 5 last time and enjoyed it so much that I bought the yearly subscription. However, since the last two updates it doesn’t automatically show the next number when you have painted all of a number. I have therefore only rated it a 4 this time. Please either fix the issue (if it's a bug) or revert back to how it was.

What’s with the ads. This colouring in app was one of my favs, but this latest update has put ads in the middle of colouring in the pictures. I am quite happy to watch ads at the start and at the end but don’t enjoy my relaxing time of colouring being interrupted not even 10mins in. If I left the app and then returned to colour fair enough, but I haven’t. You would have gotten 5stars like in the past, but now I can only give you 3. Disappointed as I love to do the holiday theme pictures but if I am to be constantly interrupted by midway ads there will be no joy here this Christmas

Freezing. Since upgrading my screen freezes when I try to download a picture. Very frustrating been playing for ages and have had no trouble till now.

Oil Painting. If you love colour this is for you. Fabulous pictures which you can choose to suit you. Lose yourself and turn off the world for a little while.

Excellent App. This is an excellent app that I am thoroughly enjoying. Although not all images are free to colour and they happen to mostly be the better ones. I highly recommend it.

Love the app but the Ads!. I have played this app for a very long time and love it. It is so relaxing! But not now! Some advertisements freeze the screen for minutes at a time, sometimes the app even crashes! I don’t object to ads they are part of all this. But some of them are just too much interruption. If the screen is not freezing, it jumps and makes the whole experience very frustrating!

The good and the bad. The new version has some great new capabilities, such as haptic feedback on selections and enlarged selection boundaries. But the status of the numbers along the bottom is horrible/meaningless, with numbers changing randomly from used to unused and some showing both used and unused. And the splash screen that comes up after not being used for awhile won’t go away after either choice (continue or not) and requires a reboot to get back to the drawing.

Will not open. Since the upgrade the game will not open on my iPad, it tries to open then shuts down, I have rebooted but didn’t work. I love this app and miss it ☹️

Loving this App. I love how the picture comes together as you fill the image with colour. Especially how you fill an image with solid colour but once completed, the colour appears as the out of focus background of the base photo taken in Macro. One thing, I didn’t open the App for a few days. Now I have come back to it, the numbers are bigger and bolder making the picture appear childish. At first I thought the developer was moving towards using less colours and larger shapes making the pictures quicker to complete. This doesn’t seem to be the case. Good. But could we have the size of the numbers in the grid made as a selectable option? There are plenty of ways to make the completion of a picture more difficult, like trying to remember as many numbers in a section as possible and increasing the number. So, if the developer makes the App easier, please keep the original small numbers and shapes as a selectable option. I tried one other painting App and didn’t like it because the user just went through the motions. I’ve loved this one so much, I’d like to keep the challenge alive, trying to find those tiny little shapes! Well done on developing this beautiful App.

Beautiful pictures and easy. Love the high detail of the pictures and find it so easy and relaxing to complete :) Some ideas for future versions though would be: 1. Once all of one colour is completed it would be great if it defaulted to the next colour down the line rather than waiting for you to select one - as occasionally I haven’t realised I’m not actually searching for anything. 2. Is there a sound option I’m missing, for instance if I’m listening to music on my phone it cuts out when I open the app? Thanks and keep up the great images!

Love this but it heats up my phone. Love love love I’m so addicted to this calming painting. But for some reason my phone heats up when playing so have to stop every half hr. It doesn’t heat up being charged or use of other games so I’m confused. Please consider the prices it’s way too overpriced so it will be beaten by another app soon.

It was fun.....but lost all my work..thanx to the update. When I first used this app i was extremely happy..... I had over 3 months of art work completed..... when it asked for a update i did it (sorry I did). I lost all my previous art work.... firstly it would not open, so I had to re install the app, in doing so I have lost all my previous work..... NOT HAPPY, i have stared again but second issue is i can no longer use landscape on my iPad..... I’m still using the app but it’s annoying not being able to use landscape and starting my collection again....

The best colouring app available. Love this app. The pictures are beautiful (with a great variety of choices); it’s sometimes challenging but, at the same time, relaxing; you have a choice between a single hint or colour all; their FB page has free bonus pics & the customer service is prompt & helpful.

Freezes. Freezes every now and then and takes a while to get back into play. Otherwise everything else is great, I love the super detailed images and don’t mind the ads. You can easily enjoy the game without premium as well. The occasional freezing is the only downside at the moment.

Unsure. I have downloaded a lot of colouring apps but not sure about this app. I read the reviews and some are good but some people are disappointed in this game. I have a lot of colouring apps as I only have one hand and colouring apps like this app are good when you are unable to use colouring books 📖 and I have a few colouring books that are not easy to use but when my iPad had too go to be repaired I had to use my colouring books 📚. While the iPad was away I found it hard to colour the pictures I wanted to do but now it is back I can do the colouring apps and not stress out about my good hand aching. A friend broke her finger so she now understands what it is like for me. Updated I have downloaded this game again but I hope it isn’t a mistake as I downloaded this game but when I went to play it it froze and so had to delete it losing all my work. The thing I was happy about was that I had saved work as background for my iPad. If it happens again I will have to delete it again and I won’t download it again.

Best of all the colour by number apps by far. There are lots of pictures (though I’m getting through them fast). The premium version is outrageously priced if you choose to pay weekly or monthly, but if you pay for the year is actually very reasonable. I would like some even more detailed pictures that take longer though.

Just the best. In my opinion, the best painting site on the net. An extensive selection of pictures & graphics— something for everyone. Incredible detail and colour. The finished pics are good enough to print and frame. Very relaxing to do.

Paid version is too expensive!. I’ve been using this colouring app for at least 3 years now and I do enjoy it but I wish they would add some new categories. So much scenery and animals gets a little boring. I would like to see some people added and maybe some rooms in a house. I have the paid version and it always takes me by surprise when my credit card is charged yearly. The price is outrageous for what you get. There are other good colouring apps out there for free or a one-time fee that is a lot cheaper than the $50 a year this one charges. Please please please consider dropping the annual fee. It should be a one time fee like other apps. I’m going to cancel my subscription once it expires in January if things don’t change. It’s really not worth the money.

New Inappropriate Categories??. This app is pretty soothing most of the time but I just noticed two new categories with erotica and gore? Wtaf is this?? I don’t have a personal problem with this but there’s kids on these apps! That should have absolutely been either behind a paywall or locked. Straight up irresponsible.

Very disappointed. I have use this app for many years. But lately there’s some kind of bug. I work on a picture and it doesn’t save my changes anymore so I am not.very happy waste my time doing a picture and then come back to it and all my work is gone. Too bad this was my favourite app but now it is getting replaced. There are tons of apps just like this one so time to move on. Do yourself a favour and look for something better. Since they got greedy and made is subscription they ruined the app. Don’t try to change a good thing to make an extra buck. People will just move on.

Calming. I love this app normally. I use this in conjunction with I enjoy this app while I’m listening to my audiobooks. audible and Apple Books. Now all of a sudden the app keeps shutting down my audio.

Good app. I love this app. Quite relaxing. Some flaws though….it lags way too much and then just crashes, about 3-4 times each painting. Frustrating especially when you go back and some painting spots you already did now need to be repainted. Also I find too many flower or paint pictures. Personally I like horses, lighthouses, boats, old barn sceneries, etc. too bad but the lagging is just too much. I’d never subscribe with that flaw.

Losing Progress. I loved this app for my commutes, but recently it keeps erasing my progress on each picture. It’s not worth playing if I keep having to start over again. ETA: Emailed support as instructed and was told that this app is no longer being updated or supported, so I guess this is never getting fixed.

The app is mostly great.. The picture quality and selection are excellent, and I am really enjoying the app. I don’t mind the ads and I click on some of them to help the devs get some revenue - ut I do have to say that there are a couple of ads that are very disturbing and that make false claims of huge weight loss. These are potentially dangerous, and probably scammers. Please take more care when selecting your ad providers.

Love this game but it needs some bug fixes. I have been playing this game for years! I absolutely love it, it’s really calming and a great way to kill time and bring down my anxiety. However, lately when I have been working on a picture it will kick me out and shut down my phone completely and when I reopen the app I loose all progress. This never happens with any other app and it’s getting a little frustrating. For example I spent almost 2 hours doing a 200+ picture and was kicked out when I had less than 10 numbers to go and when I went in it didn’t save ANY of my progress. Needless to say it was very disappoint and frustrating. I hope this bug gets fixed soon because I love this game and would be greatly disappointed if I had to find another paint by number :(

“Oil Painting” app review. This app should be called “Paint by Numbers!” My niece and I had races to see who could finish the same ‘painting’ first. Super fun. Some of them look photorealistic at a smaller scale. I’m hoping this inspires her to do more painting in the physical realm. Unfortunately when I suggested doing a real world paint by numbers painting she said, “no way, too slow.” So, I am concerned that this app is getting her hooked on instant gratification! More fun than video games.

Too many problems. If I could give them a -5 star review I would. I feel that Veraxen has no intention of fixing the Choose Another/Continue, losing completed work on an image, not being able to see the images in the News Section before adding them and the delete function no longer working. Despite repeated attempts to get them to fix the issues, I was told to be patient, that they are working on it, which was several months ago. Nice. Way to spend some time with some pretty pictures as a result. There are a couple of puzzles that can’t be finished no matter how many times I tap the colour, then the final area. Wish that could be solved...

Enjoyable. This is a fun time filler, the pictures are lovely and I enjoy your jigsaw app too every day. One small suggestion for the oil painting...once the last section of the painting is complete, it would be nice to have a short pause to admire our work (as happens in the jigsaw) before jumping immediately into an ad which is never watched.

Turn off music!. How do I turn off the music? That was not a good addition. Love the game and used for years but it does not require sound. I like it because it is quiet

Doesn’t work with other audio. I love this app but lately all of a sudden I can’t listen to podcasts/audio/watch shows in the corner while I use it anymore.

Help.. You just put up a special colouring selection for Independence Day. It would be nice if you did things to acknowledge the holidays of other countries, for example Canada Day, which is on July 1st. Not everyone who plays this game is American. I’m tired of seeing American conservative, Protestant things acknowledged and everything outside of those parameters ignored.

No longer enjoyable.... Very disappointed in the recent changes made. Maker has now added a subscription so u can eliminate ads...there r still some paintings that are free to do, but all the best ones are now locked into a subscription.

Question about subscription. If you get the subscription do you get access to more than what’s presently in the free part? Is there more than just the yellow ones that becomes available?

I like the app but cannot access the pictures. For some reason, if I forget and turn off my iPad without leaving the picture I am working on, it freezes and I cannot get access to the app. A prompt asking if I want to access another picture or continue working on this one blocks access. Unfortunately, I just paid my yearly subscription. How can I fix this or get a refund?

Changes. I have loved this game for a long time, however for the last six months it has continually been updated to remove things. First there were four hints and two buckets, then down to two hints and one bucket. Now if these ran out you would need to watch ads. Then the pictures slowly started to change from beautiful artwork to ones without so many colors. I haven’t seen one over 100 in ages. Then they took away all hints and buckets without watching an ad. This is in addition to any you watch to get a picture or that play upon opening. If this continues to happen, I will no longer be recommending this app to other people and possibly delete it.

Needs more cats. This is the only paint by numbers app that I’ve found that is mostly photorealistic. I especially love the nature pictures, although there are not enough cats. The other apps I’ve tried are all cartoon-like. There aren’t enough free pictures (I am going through the 2019 calendar rapidly). The premium version is outrageously expensive. If there were a lot more premium pictures I would think about it but there seem to be equal numbers of free and premium pictures each day.

HELP! Won't open after latest update!. I did the July 4, 2019 update. Saw the note it will take longer to open the first time using after this update... but I've let it try to open for hours. I've done this for the last several days. I've tried closing out the app and I've tried completely logging off device several times. I don't want to uninstall & lose all of my progress. Bottom line, the app will not completely open to where I can view my completed pics & paint the two daily free ones. Please help!

Keep Losing Progress. Love this app, but lately the pictures aren’t holding my progress. I mostly try to “save” my progress before exiting by going back to “home” and not just quickly exiting the app. Very frustrating. Is there anyone else having this problem? A few months ago I wasn’t having this problem and never have. It now saves the progress of a couple of my pictures, and then it stops for a while and then starts saving them again. Help!

Shame on you!. What was once my favorite app to pass the time, has now become another deleted app because of the latest update that included horror and Erotica! Erotica, SERIOUSLY?????? In a family app that is for AGE 12 and Up??? Is there nothing safe from the trash such as that? Please, developers, roll it back like it used to be, and I will reinstall it, otherwise, it is a no brainer deletion!! I will NOT condone this in any way shape or form. So much for a site that was once small children friendly!!!

Beautiful Pictures, Generous with Free Content. I love this app. The pictures are gorgeous, and they’re constantly adding new ones, even at the free level. There’s a subscription level, which is pricey, but the free selection is high-quality and extensive. There are ads, but they’re not intrusive. I’m happy to watch them because they don’t interrupt my session, and they help support the creators. Usually they show up before I start a painting session. Highly recommended for anyone who loves beautiful artwork and likes painting by numbers.

Loved it...at first. This app has beautiful artwork that I really enjoy watching develop as I add color. In the beginning it was a pleasant experience just relaxing and filling in the numbers to see what artwork would emerge. But then, the numbered shapes began getting smaller, more numerous and more obscure and difficult to find causing my relaxing chill to become more of an annoying ‘challenge’. After 8 hours of attending to ‘work fires’ and staff problems the last thing I want is a game that keeps me even slightly on edge, and if I did it wouldn’t be a paint by number app. I’m dissatisfied and disappointed there is not an option to stay in the no-stress zone using this app.

Great at first, now crashes my phone. I’ve been using this app for a little while. I loved it at first because the pictures are fantastic. About 3 days ago I noticed my phone was freezing and slow to respond to my finger taps/swipes while the app was open. It’s continued to do that off and on. I’ve tried updating, closing other apps, restarting my phone, etc. Today I was playing and it crashed my entire phone…I got a black screen and then it restarted itself. I read other comments and noticed people have been complaining about this a few years now but it doesn’t seem like the developers have fixed it or even care. Bummer.

Really Great App. I really like this app. However I am debating whether $40 a year is reasonable when there are only 166 available “premium” paintings available. Other apps are advertised with many more, but I think this is a far better app. Also why are the buttons on top of the painting? Accidentally coming near them either sends you back to the gallery, zooming in or using up a hint you didn’t want. I suppose that’s intentional. I’m interested in pursuing this further, but would need to see some positive changes in order to invest.

Oil painting.. I love this app but what happened? Since the last update it crashes or a screen comes up with the continue or choose another but the screen behind it is gray and the only way out is to totally shut down my iPad restart and hope it works. So frustrating. Can this be fixed? Thanks What is wrong with this app just about every time I try to use it these days I have to shutdown my iPad and restart it to get it to work.

Decent app. This is a good quality color-by-number app. They lose a star because of the ads. Not only are they obnoxious (including icons flying in and covering up the workspace; some ads are very lengthy and you can’t bypass them) but they drain your battery FAST. The app is constantly polling for ads to present in various places. They lose another star for being subscription based instead of a flat purchase to avoid the annoying ads. Not worth the ongoing cost. Period. For now, I’ll keep putting the phone in airplane mode while I’m working on the paintings so I don’t kill my phone.

Best coloring app and it’s working again. I love the final results from this app and the picture selection is great. Latest release (1.4) is very nice too. Thx. January 2020 release has partially broken the app. Developers did another release but I view that the app is still broken when only one of three new pictures per day is actually accessible to paint. Very frustrating. I’ve lowered my rating to one star. Thanks Veraxen folks! That must have been a sneaky bug but you got it. As best as I can tell, the pictures that were “freezing” are back and functioning. Thx for the hard work.

Oil Painting by numbers brought back memories of my youth. As much as I like this app and most of the changes they have made over the 2 years, I have so many issues. The disable switch button to stop if you accidentally hit those hint buttons don’t work. They are repeating their paintings and all those ads you have to watch even if it doesn’t have the little blue mark on them. The ad load just keeps spinning and then you get no ads available or it crashes. So in the end you can’t paint anything. What a bummer.

Terrible, didn’t last 5 minutes. Inevitably you will hit a neighboring space with your finger. It’s not the number you’re coloring but rather than ignoring the errant tap, the app will color it beige to show you hit the wrong spot. All you need to do is click it again to make it go away but seriously, you are going to hit neighboring spaces ALL THE TIME!! It’s unbelievably annoying. Plus the app shows so many ads, including many urging you to upgrade, right in the middle of coloring. Yes, instead of showing an ad and being free to color, you’re repeatedly interrupted by ads. I don’t know why anyone would want to stick to this game, even if it was ad free, the whole color the wrong space beige is enough to drive you insane

Children category. I am on my big brother’s phone and I have this game on my phone too. I am almost 12 years old and I loved the Children’s category. But it got replaced by inappropriate categories. Don’t you people know that kids ages 11 and above with smart minds can go on this game and color all of the pictures and color cartoon pictures but then see that the Children category got replaced. So sorry to say this would have been a five star rating but it is a three because you people got rid of the Children category. Please please bring back the Children category.

Greatly improved. I opted for premium any saw a lot of problems early on. Those have all been addressed and other changes have been implemented to make this an even better “painting” experience. The latest change has been to include a “textured” appearance to the number panel one is looking for. I have no trouble in saying that ghis is one of the best painting choice out there. The price for premium is modest compared to others and the end result beats all others by a mile. Well done, folks!!

Turn down the volume please!!. I absolutely LOVE this app!!! It’s so much fun and so relaxing! I got my mom hooked, my daughter hooked and my husband hooked on it. But I’m only giving it 4 stars because I can’t play it at night due to the volume of some of the ads!! Don’t tell me to turn the volume off because I’ll forget it and then I’ll miss out on something later because it’s off! So, instead, I just can’t play it at night when I can’t sleep because it will wake up my husband. Can you please add an option to turn off all sounds??

What about your premium members?. I paid the one year membership to gain access to the locked puzzles. However, now that I’ve worked those, I might as well be any other member. I get the same three new pictures as everyone else and only get the free extra picture available on Facebook as everyone else. For the price, I expect more perks the other folks don’t get. And PS, put back the auto-advance to the next color that disappeared after the last upgrade. From the Facebook comments, I’m not the only one who wants that.

Great app! But.... This is really a great app. Very addicting and can be played for hours. I love this app, but soon realized it was taking up WAY too much storage space on my phone. The app itself doesn’t but when you complete many pictures it takes up more and more storage each time. I was so confused as to why my phone kept saying my storage was full when I didn’t have that many apps. I looked and saw that this app was taking up a little more than 10 GB of storage! I had to delete the app because of this. I have had this app for over a year and had completed many puzzles. I am going to miss this app but I don’t think it’s worth all that storage being taken up.

Oil painting. I can’t even draw a straight line, but I get great pleasure from doing the oil painting. It may seen silly but it seems that you actually are doing the painting rather than just filling in the colors. The pictures are wonderful, but I wish you could get more each day. I get carried away and do them much too fast. I joined your membership and it is the best money I have spent in a long time. Just wish I could get more pictures each day. By the way I am seventy years old. Never get too old to have fun.

The Greatest App Ever!!. This is now my favorite go to app! I use to use Recolor, which was amazing in itself. But when I found that this app was oil painting, that was all it took! The pics are absolutely beautiful. The coloring apps can not even begin to compare!! Now, since you have changed the spaces to color to a plaid, they are so much easier to see. I was having trouble with some of the grays and greens with the coloring spaces being just a darker shade of gray. I would always miss at least one, lol. Kudos guys!! I love what you have brought to my world!! Thank you♥️♥️♥️♥️

Helps my anxiety.. needs some fixing.. I love this app. This has quickly become my favorite “coloring” app on my phone. The pictures are gorgeous. But I have three requests! Please make it a one time fee to get all premium content. I would happily pay a one time charge of up to $10. Paying weekly just isn’t reasonable. Please add more difficult, detailed pictures. I’m talking over 200 colors. Something that would take a long time. That would be awesome! Give a good mix of difficulty. When I tap on the wrong number, the incorrect area changes colors. Please remove this, or let me turn it off. I do this to relax, not to be notified I hit the wrong number in error. Please continue to update this app and keep the daily pictures coming! I love this app a lot and it really helps me mentally calm myself down. Please take my recommendations and requests under consideration!

Addds!!!!!!!!!! 😡. So I love his app. It’s SUPER FUN 🤩 but there are so many adds!!!! 😡 😡 😡. I just saw a 50 SECOND AD!! Ok the 5 second ones I can work with and the 30 second ones are kinda annoying, but it’s really annoying getting them every time I start a new thing, and the ones that are like 30 seconds long and I can’t turn the sound off! Oh, and also the FIND tool. I need it SOOOOO often and I have to watch these super annoying ads and I have to watch them every minute!!!!!!! 😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Other than that I really like it and it’s pretty fun and relaxing 😎.

I love this app. I do love this app and I love the amount of access I have in the free version. Yes I would like the nice pictures in the paid version too but oh well. I do have a few suggestions though - 1. If paint baskets are not used in a picture can you please roll them over so it can be used in the next one? 2. Can we display some indicator against each number color to indicate how many of those occurrences we have? So if my picture has colors from 1-200 there are several shades which only have one occurrence of it. Can I know how many occurrences for each color so I can knock out the single ones or the super busy ones first as I desire??? Please please

Simply Amazing!. I am addicted ... it is great for relieving stress & anxiety. I have other color by numbers programs but none compare to this program because you are reproducing a beautiful piece of art! I’ve already gone through the freebies! I had no other choice than to get a year subscription! I plan to print & frame some of them! Those who can paint .. paint and for the those who can’t ... they paint by numbers! My thanks to the developers for the ease & quality of your work!

One issue.. Definitely love this app, it’s very relaxing and certainly a good way to spend free time. What I’ve noticed about other oil painting apps is that you can only use them in portrait mode, (up and down screen) which bothers me since I use and iPad, so I love that this game can be played both portrait and landscape mode. Great touch. I don’t mind the amount of ads, I see a lot of other reviews saying that there are too many, but I don’t think so. I liked that the ads were easily skippable, but… one issue that surfaced just today that kind of ruins the calming nature of the app for me. I am not blaming it on the dev(s) since I’m not sure whether or not it’s an issue with my device, but ads are suddenly no longer skippable and are really long without the skips. (30 sec - 1 min long) I have a shorter attention span and don’t tend to have the patience for that. Was this an intentional change to the app or is it a bug, potentially?

Beware. I left a critique a few days ago. It was about their new update. I got a response from them saying people that help them better their app gets a free gift. Guess what. My free gift was another one of their apps. This app is free in the App Store. I was told I could get free puzzles through Facebook as .well. Well guess what. I can get them free anyway. So their gift isn’t a gift at all. It’s a way for them to get you to download another one of their apps. One that I would never have downloaded ever. So their gift was really for themselves. Getting you to download an already free app that is theirs. Why do they think people are so stupid? I don’t appreciate being scammed and treated like an idiot!

great app, but glitches. ok this is a cool app! there is so many cool options to color, but i wish they had a wider variety. there are LOTs off ads all the time, so i wish they could cut it down a little. there e one glitch that really bothers me that they didn’t fix in the update. whenever i exit the game after playing, then when i come back, it deletes most of my past work and i have to start over again!! it really annoys me, but that’s the only main issue i came across while using the app. it’s still a great app, and it gets you really addicted!!

Pop ups. I realize there are ads without a premium subscription. I have had this app a long, long time and love it however just in the past few days something has happened. I can not even color without it automatically pops up a web page in my browser about “congratulations you are a winner! “ type deals. I know it’s a stupid scam but if this continues I will have to delete this app and I don’t want too because it was the best free coloring app out there! Can you fix this please?!

A fantastic app with a fixable problem.... Understand that I absolutely love this game. It’s relaxing and I attempt to log into it daily. Key word: attempt. Today I’m trying to log in to finish painting a picture I started yesterday, so it wants me to watch an ad. The problem: the ad, which is one that offers you the chance to play a mini game, has no way to exit it. At all. I can opt to play it to the end, I can choose to do nothing, but no matter what, I won’t be able to get back to my picture. Since watching ads are the “price” I pay (instead of the subscription fees, which are simply too high to justify with my family’s budget), it’s incredibly frustrating to pay with my time, only to have to force quit the app. Monitoring ads to make sure they work properly would earn this app five stars, but this is admittedly a pretty big problem.

Amazing app!. I love this app. It has plenty of free pictures, and some that you have to watch an ad for. The free pictures are not of any less quality than the premium ones. The ads on this app exist, but they aren’t excessive and annoying. New pictures are being added constantly. The one issue I have is that you can’t start a new picture offline. I usually just to a tiny bit of pictures I want to do offline before I go offline. Great app!

Like real art not a coloring book. Yes there are ads. They are a chance to rest your eyes. But the app pictures are beautiful. I’m not a fan of animal pictures but I do love the travel ones. There is something for everyone. I have taken oil painting classes and I feel like the lessons learned there about color and shading are reinforced. This is not a coloring book app. The pictures emerge as a painting would. I do feel that the subscription price is way too high, so I will continue to “enjoy” the ads.

Love it but it glitched. I love this game and rated it a year or two ago but today I was working on one, then left the one I was working on to look at my daily ones. When I went back I couldn’t find the one I was working on, so I did another one I began to color, but it kicked me out, and suddenly it was reset with no color. I realized the same thing happened to my other painting. I love this game and it’s perfect for long distance trips but I hate this glitch.

Stunning pictures. I am never disappointed with the completed picture. The process takes just the right amount of focus, and - while I can’t take credit for the results, I do take pleasure in them. There is one option I would love to see added, and that would be to be able to import a photo of my own and turn it into a paint-by-number. I know there are programs that can generate a cross-stitch pattern from photos, so I think this option would be possible, and I would be happy to pay a premium for it.

People of color representation. Everyone that I’ve seen has been of the Caucasian persuasion. As an I African American I would love to be represented as I’m sure others would. Especially for the holidays to be able to share your finished pictures on social networks. I spent the extra money because it’s relaxing & the pictures are beautiful. Also too I many colors that are repeated when you get the same result with less colors. Otherwise I love the app.

Overbearing Ads. Really enjoyable while working on a picture, but the ad scheme is completely overbearing. If you even pause to do anything and the screen locks, you will have to watch another ad just to be able to even continue the picture. Ads when you complete and another ad when you select next picture. Ads everywhere. Would be fine with paying once just to remove ads but only subscription is an option. Outside of ads, runs smooth and beautiful pictures. Can upload to Facebook on completion or you can find your completed pictures under My Collection and save to photos if you want.

Frustrating. I have loved this app for a long time, but recently, it has started to pause any podcast that I play in the background every 3-5 seconds when I try to color and listen at the same time. The app is fun/relaxing when I can color while listening to an audiobook, podcast, etc., but not being able to get through more than 3 seconds of the video before it pauses is infuriating. My time on this app has decreased to the point where I am now considering to just download a different coloring app and move on. After several weeks of this, I am now begging you to fix it.

If your looking for a color by the number game with art that can fit anyone and everyone niche this is the one for you I’ve tried a couple,I love the art style and the fact that it actually takes time the sections are small so you really get to appreciate the process you make, the only thing I would say the game can add is more diverse art and maybe more city peices and or that exist? But I don’t doubt that’s already on the way great game I’m addicted👍🏾

Used to love this app. I was totally addicted to this app until I tried to open it and the screen just sits there like it is going to open and then shuts down. I paid for a premium subscription and colored over 400 pictures. Will not be happy if the developers tell me I have to uninstall then re-install. UPDATE: Thank you for the fairly quick fix to enable us to resume using the app. One feature that was lost, which I had found in no other coloring app was the cool feature of automatically advancing to the next color after completing a color. Please bring that back and I will gladly give 5 stars!

One Small Request.... I absolutely love this app! It easy to figure out, and it is very user-friendly. I love the variety and the option to turn the hints off/on. I don’t even mind the ads most of the time because I can skip through them after a while. BUT I do have one small request - To move both the magnifying glass and the paint bucket below the row of numbered colors. Once you zoom in to find the smaller sections, both of the block the painting and often times are covering up the hint/number. Users could maximize tablet space and see more if they were lowered underneath the colored numbers. Honestly, my only complaint.

Crashes too often. I actually really like this app, and I’d rate it four or five stars if it weren’t for the fact that for the last 2 or 3 weeks, almost every time I have to watch a video, the app crashes either halfway through the video, or at the end of the video when it’s transferring back to the picture. It also locks, then crashes if I hit the back arrow to return to the gallery while working on a picture. The app and my iPad are both up to date.

Incomplete picture. Generally, I enjoy this app very much. The pictures are beautiful, but now I have an annoying problem. One of the pictures I “painted” had some incomplete black lines. Those areas could not be colored. So now I have a picture forever sitting in the incomplete section of my gallery. This is a problem for someone who does not like leaving things unfinished. If it happens again, I will delete the app.

Revised review-I am really enjoying this app. I originally rated it lower because of ads, but they really are not that bad. I am enjoying the app quite a bit. Right now there is so much tension and uncertainty in the word that this helps me unwind and, at least momentarily, ignore all the turmoil. I find it very relaxing and quite addictive. The paintings are wonderful and complex. It is a bit like painting and a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. Yeah, the ads are still there, but I have learned to coexist with them. I wish real life could be so accommodating.

I love the new format!!. I used this app for a long, long time. Then I just quit because I was doing other things. Had to download again because it wouldn’t stay on. So now I’m happily surprised with the new way to “paint”. I’ll be using it more now. It’s a great app with lots of great pictures to color. All of my old pictures were lost when I downloaded it again but I’ll just do the favorites again. I recommend this app.

Cool app, missing one important feature. The one thing holding me back from liking this app is the inability to upload your own photos. Every other color by number app I use allows it. This is the best coloring app of them all, but I don’t use it because I want to use my own pictures. If that ability was in the app, I would only use this app. And it isn’t that the photos they provide aren’t cool, it’s just that some days I’m in the mood to color something more personal, like a photo of my dog or a landscape photo I’ve taken. Makes it so much more fun when the photo means something to you. If you added this feature I would subscribe to the app and use it every day.

It would be a good app if not for the ads. It isn’t relaxing to be coloring and interrupted by ads with sound that you can’t even exit out of. I’ve been forced to click a number of ads that take me to the App Store. The only way to disable ads is to pay per month/year/week. I would be more willing to pay a one-time fee than to continue paying for any subscription, especially for a coloring app. It’s a shame, because I love the pictures.

Linda Ryan-Bell. Yes I do love it, except that little reminder that I accidentally keep hitting!! You see I’m Left Handed and sometimes when lying down, my hand slides down and accidentally hits it. I try very hard not to use them as my track record will show. Because if you take on a painting you should follow through, and NOT depend on a button to paint the pics. Enjoying this app!. You will not be bored with this app! There are so many oil paintings to choose from (e.g., nature, architecture, animals, beaches, still life, fruit, vegetables and so much more) and the color pallets are vibrant and beautiful! I can spend hours on coloring different oil paintings because it relaxes me and it’s fun to do. I love the light houses and beach scenes. It’s hard to put down so be prepared for that. If you have an iPad and iPad pencil it is even better. There are a few ads after you complete a painting but they are very short. The developers did a great job with this app. Thank you!!

The best but not unflawed. The images are really beautiful and I like the level of complexity compared to similar apps. There are plenty of free images. Dislike: 1. the palette is so close to the ad area it’s impossible to avoid inadvertently clicking on an ad and opening a web browser, and 2. When you finish the last piece of an image, an ad opens and you have to wait to view your finished piece. Too much delayed gratification. I understand you gotta have ads, but I don’t like being manipulated into clicking them or have them interrupt to this extent.
