Exactly what you’re expecting and more!. The voice is pretty cool and very understandable, it scans texts and links perfectly, and the fact that it understands other languages besides English is pretty useful as well! The only thing I think is kind of lacking is the UI, it isn’t exactly intuitive and a bit too saturated with colors and information for my taste, other than that, it is exactly what they promise and more :)

Love the article choices!. The medium articles are great! And I know a lot of them are written from many REAL people other than large corporations so I love it!! The voice was decent too, wasn’t too robotic, very similar to siri. I do wish the app opened with the articles rather than my library because it was a bit confusing seeing a blank screen haha. Either way, still a cool app to learn things on the go.

It was supposed to be a free trial and I was charged.. I didn't last not even 1 hour with this app. I signed up to test it and my card was charged.

Best ocr scanner and read aloud app but too expensive. Drop the price to $1-$2 a month or one time purchase at $30 and I’ll buy in…but why would I spend $100 every, single, year, FOREVER, for this when I could continue using adobe scan + acrobat to do the same job for FREE????…granted peech is better, but not that much better

Horrible. The app has so many glitches and does not work properly. What a waste of money and time! Not to mention the customer support is rude and very unprofessional. Would not recommend anyone to waste their money a scam like this .

Great App for students!. Peech is really helpful if you have something long that you have to read and you really need to save some time it can cut down on that extensive reading/notetaking. It really helps! I would recommend it to students :)

Works very well. I’ve compared Peech to 5 of the other top text-to-voice apps. My primary use is listening to articles on news web sites (such as NYT, Washington Post, etc). As a whole, it works the best for me. First, while there is only one voice available, it is as good or better than all the other voices I’ve used in the other apps. It’s natural sounding and clear. More importantly, the speaker does not pause or stop in the middle of an article as it does in most all of the other apps. It also doesn’t drain your battery or make your phone hot as it does in other apps with longer articles. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t work with the Washington Post, though converting the article to a PDF and loading the PDF does work. Finally, it would be nice if there was more control of the ordering of library items and if you could toggle on/off whether the app automatically reads the next article in the list. But overall, highly recommended.

Warm robotically accurate voice. The playback is 100% accurate. It turns a text into a podcast. There is something lost, and something gained whenever technology breaks new ground🫶this app does it well.

Excellent App but GREEDY DEVELOPER!!! WAY TOO MUCH $$ to subscribe! Come on!!!. This application is designed extremely well and is very useful... But like too many apps these days, it's too expensive to subscribe to it. I would pay $1.99 a month at most for this and just about any app. After that, there is just too many apps that want a few bucks a week or month. This one wants to hit you up for $5 a week... That's entirely too much unless your rich. They do offer a $4 a week option, but want you to make up your mind and commit to it with only 3 minutes to decide right after starting the app and not even having time to know if you wait it or not. Sheesh! Come on App Makers... Lay off on these crazy amounts you want from us! Greed is ugly and is just really uncool of you to want us to continuously pay such a premium to you. Please just start asking for a reasonable amount guys! I would have given 5 stars if they were asking for a reasonable amount to subscribe... But, they got greedy and us real-world people have to stick you with a bummer of a review... But, this is our only way of being heard and sticking up for us non-millionaires.

Very convenient and simple to use. I love that I can read articles from the web with audio. It allows me to get home chores done while Getting my reading done from all kinds of articles. The only feature I would add would be to adjust the speed of reading. Otherwise, great app and good voices.

No Longer Supported...?. Developers website is no longer online and I just downloaded the app with iOS 14.4 and crashes every-time when I go to saved articles.

Game changer for college students. The app has allowed me to multi task and do other things without having to physically be reading the book!

Pricing isn’t the same. Pricing in the app details is not the same as what the app says. Can’t do monthly option. doesn’t say how long trial is until you subscribe

Wish there was a female voice option. I love the boys I think it’s awesome and great to understand easily, however, being a female, I wish there was a female voice option. Whenever I am typing something up and converting it to this to be read to someone, I prefer them to hear it in a woman’s voice not a man’s since it’s supposed to be for me.

Not great. I take clear pictures of my book with good lighting, but the app still doesn’t read the pages right. It skips sentences/words, or it doesn’t even say the right words: sometimes it’ll even put random words where they aren’t supposed to be. I made sure the pictures weren’t blurry and that you could clearly see the words. I’m not sure why I’m having this issue.

Horrible. I got it so i could paint and read this new book i got and i took a picture of ONE page and then went to do another and it asked me to pay 3.49$ A WEEK!! i like the voice on it to which is a number bc every other app i have gotten has voices like siri and alexa and with those ones i can’t focus

Peech. Honestly I give this app a 5 star rating because I got my wisdom teeth removed and I couldn’t read so that helped a lot and also I feel like I get more. Information when I hear more then I do when I read it out loud to my self

Super helpful!!!. I get really sleepy whenever I read books for some reason even though I love to read, so this app has honestly been so helpful to me keeping me up and able to listen to each page without getting sidetracked. also the app is really clear and easy to use. I like the feature where you can save post from Twitter and have it read back to you. Totally recommend.

5/5 study tool. I love using this app to study, as someone with adhd I find it hard to study by just reading from a book but with this app all I have to do is listen! It’s greatly improved my grades this semester and I’ll definitely be continuing to use it!

Disappointed. I was so excited when I saw this app. I’m losing my vision but I love to read. This seemed like the perfect option. I tried at least a dozen different locations for adding a book, different websites, reading apps, files, documents, and none of it would play. Some of the options would save to Peech, some didn’t. But even the ones I was initially able to save to the app still weren’t able to play and it kept telling me to remove the file. I’m not sure what I’m suppose to read if I can’t access anything with the app.

Really smart idea!. This app is such a great concept! Makes it easy to do everything I want to do all in one. Great way to multi task. This app would be so useful with school. It can read to you while you’re doing work!

I think this app is awesome!. As someone who struggles with inattentiveness, I find this very helpful! However, I think that it would be nice to be more specific with the change in speed.

can’t manage to find any sort of customer support. I have been trying to find a way I can get in contact with some sort of customer support but can’t manage to find anything. they automatically charged the $81 subscription after my free trial ended. I cannot afford this subscription nor do I really need it. I would still want to keep my subscription for a month or two and pay that fee instead but I don’t need it for a year. I’m really desperate to find some sort of help I really don’t want to have to dispute.

Amazing app. I love this app it allows me to get multiple tasks done at a time! I recently found a love in reading but with the gym, household duties and work it makes it hard but with this app I can listen to an article or any text and also be able to do other tasks! Amazing app

Good idea with so far poor execution.. Trying to imitate a number of apps but barely succeeds in any functionality it promises to deliver. The main feature of this app should be an ability to read for you different articles and basic text but the reading voice is terrible compering to what out there. No punctuation, very basic and monolithic, “made in 1999”, with no option to choose a different voice or adjust, just a speed. You much better of to use build-in iPhone features, including reading for you any text of your choice, and it’s totally free. Maybe for some it’s a great app, for me definitely far from paying for it. I wouldn’t use it even for free.

Great way to turn my hardcover books into audiobooks. I love using Peech! It makes consuming my fictional novels much more exciting and enjoyable! It also helps me get through my novels at a much quick pace.

Literally just got it and hate it. I literally got this app like 10 minutes ago and am deleting it. I am currently in class so I wanted to have an article read to me instead of hurting my eyes and literally used it to read one sentence and now it won’t read it to me until I pay. I am a student and can’t afford it this was seriously a let down.

Was excited……. I was really looking forward to using this app for my text books but when I was listening to my scanned pages I noticed something strange, so I started reading the pages and there were so many mistakes and misspelled words. No wonder I was confused.

Amazing Homework App. This app is not just amazing for reading things to you. It can also scan school textbooks to help find which one and read those to you as well. Very easy app to get around and a couple simple clicks and you’ve got yourself a whole novel of any book you want, any article you missed and wanted to catch up, and any homework help. 10/10 app! So Helpful !. I’m loving the Peech app, even though I’ve only recently started using it as I’ve been able to both copy text from emails & online as well as scan text by taking photos of a book I’m reading so that the app can read the content out loud for me. I have little spare time for reading these days at present so having this app at my fingertips is so helpful !

My book (girl in pieces). I have never enjoyed something more the this app because I can sleep while listening and I can do art which I love while listening

Great app. This is a great app it just needs a few addition to make it more functional. For instance the option to highlight. 2. The option to tap where you want it to start reading from . 3. And for it to not read every hyperlink an page number.

Great app, super convenient!. This app is really handy and works really well! I use it to multitask so I can listen to articles while I do other things, and I find it really convenient.

File organization not so good. Good app but it would be better if you could make a file with the same book in it or have it read it in order you select. Might have to cancel if that’s not a thing.

Worst experience. It’s pricy, takes forever to download documents IF you’re even able to download the documents, blends words together doesn’t consider paragraphs while reading.

Headers and Footers. Would be nice to have an option to delete Headers and Footers directly on the app. Overall it is an okay tool.

straightforward and easy !!. this has been one of the easiest and most user-friendly text-to-speech apps i have seen. a cool design and easy to understand, works perfectly and picks up pauses and other punctuation super well !!!

Used to work great.. I loved the app and used almost everyday, but few weeks ago it started to change voices as it read my articles and that really killed the experience for me. Please revert it back to the way it was!

There is no reason to buy it.. No voice choice, no highlight, the whole application is a shell application nested with Microsoft voice, which is very Simple and crude。

Horizontal Mode Please. I was convinced by these reviews and downloaded the app, but there’s no horizontal mode. I’m not going to use it if there isn’t horizontal mode.

Can’t stand the voice. The voice has a high pitch that drives me insane. Can’t stand it! Wish there was an option to change the AI voice.

Seems like most positive reviews are bought. Interesting idea but bad realization. 🫨 - Doesn’t scan text good - mistakes in pronunciations and accents even in English, other languages are worse - robotic voice, no pauses between sentences and parts of it :( 20 bucks for what? I wish I like this app but unfortunately 🥲

SCAM. I just wanted the three day free trial and was automatically charged 100$ for the full year I cancelled it right after in apple settings but it said i have until 2024.

Can’t change voice. Terrible this app changes and claims you can change the voices and when you buy the app there is no option. Total rip off don’t waste your money or time.
