Great hardware, ok software, amazing support. 1) I really love the outdoor 2K camera. The colors are amazing even at night. The Eufy doorbell is decent. Overall, great value for all the 2K hardwares. 2) However, the software has a few things that I wished it has. I got rid of all of my old Nest Cams because they were chewing up my bandwidth and they were only 1K. Even though Nest Cam resolutions were terrible, the cloud suites were pretty good. You can choose which zones to monitor and the scroll bar allows you to pick which zones to seach and review. It’s quite handy. Another features Nest Hello has is that it tells you when somebody leaves you a package. I wished Eufy apps have those features. 3) Lastly, support is amazing. I had a defective Eufy Doorbell (it kept notifying me of activities when it shouldn’t have) and after a call with the support (local USA support, not overseas with a very hard to understand accent), they sent me a brand new one the very next day. And that one worked perfectly. Wow! I’m a big fan of Eufy/Anker now!

Things are getting worse. Eufy really has bitten off more than they can chew. Support didn’t take calls. I wait An hour for live chat only to be disconnected. And my cameras that I spent about $500 on with solar panels just don’t record or detect motion anymore. It’s crazy how they blame all the HomeKit issues on apple when they are the ones that dont support two way audio in home and don’t support more than 4 cams at once in home. The cams have to be reset almost daily to function at this point and it’s a bummer because In times of danger or concerns when I thought I could count on the cams they’ve been useless. At this point they are just for show and live streaming because they will detect anything for you on their own to alert. If you see 3.8.4 for your firmware version then you own garbage. I’ve reached so many times about these issues and instead of resolving them they just keep Launching new crap and ignoring concerns! At this point I just want a refund so I can buy another company cam that will actually care about my experience.

Love my Eufy System. Was looking for a way to keep an eye on my front porch. Researched all the brands, types, door bells, and options. Spent hours reading reviews and searching for deals online. Ultimately I landed on the Eufy cam system. I have been a big fan of Anker now for years with great experiences with the brand from cords, speakers, and power banks. One of the main draws of this eufy set up is that there is no monthly fees. I feel way more comfortable knowing that my video is stored safely on my eufy home unit in my home... not out in the cyber world on some cloud. Maybe just me. But anytime I can keep information and personal data in house... I’m in. I have enjoyed the app and it’s so cool to be able to access this system from anywhere with my phone. Best part is catching the kids in the act of swiping potato chip bags from our basket meant for delivery drivers. As soon as they hear daddy saying “I see you” from the camera they pretend like they were just checking on the stock. :)

Great but one improvement please. We love our four EufyCam 3 cameras and the app is great. We recently added the 2k outdoor wired camera in hopes it would replace our Google nest so we could have 24/7 continuous recording from one camera at the home. The eufy 2k works excellent and has better quality video than the nest. It does chase 24/7 continuous recording. However, you can scroll through the timeline on a nest in a matter of seconds and see everything that’s happened in 24 hours. On the eufy app you can only watch each event or the timeline in 16x speed. This is much slower than simply flipping through the nest timeline… because of this we still use the nest for our 24/7 camera. We have to use 2 different apps because of this. Please update your app to be able to scroll through the timeline fast while seeing all the footage similar to the nest app. Once you do this, I will use only eufy and can recommend it to more friends and family. Thanks!!

HomeKit Secure Video with iCloud+. Updated January 2022: Your app is not telling the truth when it says “HomeKit currently supports up to 4 cameras at the same time.” Apple announced at WWDC in June 2021—and delivered in September 2021—that iCloud users with the 2TB iCloud Drive or Apple One subscriptions can have unlimited HomeKit Secure Video cameras. You’ve had more than half a year to prepare for this. Please update your equipment. Original review: The app and cameras are fine—apart from not working at all when their servers are down. But, they don’t support more than five cameras in HomeKit Secure Video. Apple removed this restriction for certain paid subscriptions to iCloud+. This was announced at WWDC in June 2021, and went live in September when iOS 15 was released. I contacted Eufy/Anker support, and they had **no idea** what I was talking about. Our family has seven Eufy cameras, but can’t use them all in HomeKit until Eufy supports it. Please fix this.

Urgent Enhancements Required for the App's Performance. For three years, I've relied on the Smart door lock from Eufy. I'm considering adding a doorbell and Floodlight Camera for my home, but the underperforming app is holding me back. While I appreciate Eufy's products, the persistent issue with the app has made it difficult for me to expand my device collection. The app frequently disconnects from the Wi-Fi or the devices autonomously, requiring me to manually reconnect my smartphone to the app for it to function properly. Despite setting notifications for door lock and unlock events, I often miss them due to this issue, which persists even after repeated attempts on different smartphones. The reliability of the app is crucial, as it serves as the control center for our Eufy devices. Without a functioning app, the appeal of smart products diminishes significantly. I strongly urge the developers to address these issues promptly, as it may negatively impact the business if left unattended. I hope my feedback will be taken seriously to enhance the app's performance. - Thank you.

Geofencing not working even after 1 year. This app and product are solid on the hardwire side. I have the eufy pro 2 cameras with 2k video. Pictures are clear, night vision is reasonable and battery life is good. However geofencing simply does not work and has never worked. It has been reported many times over the past year with no resolution. If you have one phone you can usually get it to work part of the time. However if I share it with my wife and add her phone it never works. I have 2 other security apps that work like clockwork with geofencing, including with background app refresh, which means the app does not have to be open in the background, just logged in. If you have 2 Phones in geofencing it will never work. All of my well written mobile apps are done so that you do not need to do any manual setting of the app to control it. For my other security apps, when I am away they are armed. When I am home they are either on a Schedule for arm/ disarm or they are disarmed. This should be a basic function of any security app. Not sure why they have never been able to fix it.

First review. Everything about the cameras and the installation is so simple and made of great quality. I have 6 camera total I have one. That is at the end of my driveway it is 4,000 feet has great signal was really surprised how far it will reach. I normally charge batteries on the most used my front door and my driveway the others don’t get much traffic unless a bear or fox or deer set it off them I charge maybe every 2 months. For the price the features and the Apple HomeKit works great love I can have my PTZ front room camera recording to the cloud 24/7 and if need be I can rewind to the very min. And sec of said day I need. Also have there Wi-Fi deadbolt. If forget to lock door at night can tell Alexa to lock the doors and you will hear it ding from the door. It is been the best smart lock in a great price for it.

Eufy App and Device Performance. If you can get Eufy products and homebase to work without getting inundated with ads on your app screen then it’s not bad. The video timing you select is not accurate. I set it to 20 seconds and I get 10, 11, 18, and sometimes 20 second clips. The bad part that I am currently stuck with - I can’t break out of an ad page associated with one of these electronic ads that pops into your app home screen and there is with no way to return to app. Nothing breaks it free - no return arrow - nothing. I am currently stuck. I may need to delete the app and possibly lose anything saved. I would not recommend this system unless you can shut off all of these ads getting shoved in your face. Now I’ll have to shut off notifications to prevent these ads from popping up notifications trying to grab my attention by leading me to think maybe my home door cam is reaching out to me while it’s actually just another ad trying to reach into my pocket. If you can’t shut this garbage off and prevent this sort of thing then don’t waste a dime on it unless you like getting nagged constantly for nothing. I don’t see how to so far and if it comes to it I will just trash the whole system and go back to life without it. Goos luck. Do thorough homework/research before you spend your hard earned money on this money grubbing nuisance.

Eufy is done rite. I bought a 4 camera pack .Installing was provided with ample directions. Setup on 3 separate household phones was very helpful for us. Fast easy access on all phones with almost no delay was ideal. Everything is adjustable, sound from video, length of video clips. Camera night light intensity or only inferred . Intercom and even turning on/off all are available on my phone. USA made of great pride , and it shows. Battery on cameras lasts for many months before needing a charge. I live in hot wet and humid Florida and no issues on operation. Every camera is at least over 20 to 30 feet away from base unit with cement walls in between . Great signal and easy reliable notifications with very few false warnings due to human detection selections and sensitivity settings. Only issue is with front door camera , night light turns on and off in the beginning of night time video taking. Found out by swapping that all the cameras do the same thing because of night light reflections on being in corner I think. My friend has a competitor brand and Eufy was faster in app pop up, and videos started up faster, plus my sound was 100% better .Eufy thank you.

Simply, The Best!!. I was so indecisive about which brand security camera to get. I stood inside the store for hours researching them and looking at Eufy, Ring and Arlo. I was leaning towards Ring until I saw the monthly fee. I really wanted the flood light and I liked Eufy’s version more than Ario. After seeing some reviews on Eufy I decided to pull the trigger. I got the flood light w/ 2K camera and the two pack of pro2 2k cameras. I came home and hooked all 3 up in less than an hour. Super easy to install and set up. The resolution is amazing! The motion detection is amazing! Everything about the entire system and setup is perfect. Having the app is a bonus like no other! I can hop on and stream my cameras anywhere at anytime. The cameras have 100db loud alarms of anyone moves them. You can also manually activate the alarm or set your camera to activate the alarm for any movement. They record clips when they see any motion. You can adjust everything from the brightness of light to how long it records. It really is an amazing system and I can’t wait to add onto it. I am so glad I went with Eufy!

Advertisement as a Security Notification today.. I purchased Eufy's security products to keep my home safe and receive timely alerts for any suspicious activity. However, I am extremely disappointed with their recent decision to misuse these security notifications to promote their Black Friday deals. This is a blatant disregard for the purpose of these alerts and a breach of trust between the company and its customers. Not only is this practice intrusive and annoying, but it also undermines the very purpose of having a security system in the first place. When I receive a notification from Eufy, I expect it to be related to the safety of my home, not an advertisement for a sale. This misuse of notifications could potentially desensitize users to actual security alerts, putting their safety at risk. Eufy needs to recognize the importance of maintaining trust with their customers and prioritize the primary function of their products: security. I strongly urge them to reconsider their marketing tactics and keep security notifications strictly for their intended purpose. Until they rectify this issue, I cannot recommend Eufy's security products to others

Fix geofencing checking interval. All most all other apps I use switch almost instantly when I re-enter “home” region and I don’t even have the apps open on my phone (Apple Home; August; ecobee). However, at your recommendation, I have to leave eufy Security app running all the time and I can still come home and my cameras stay in the Away mode more often than not and I have refresh to trigger the switch in mode to Home. Not only is it slow in changing modes most times but I’ve also verified that Background App Refresh is enabled along with share location as Always. Almost all other apps can trigger geofence without needing the app open and running except yours and this is very frustrating. Also, while you’re at it, how about a feature that can turn cameras off when in Home geofence mode like Apple does in HomeKit. I’m not comfortable with my internal cameras (eufyCam 2C Pro) not being off when I’m home and that I can still use the app to stream my internal cameras when I’m home.

Great system but room for improvement. Hopefully this get read by Eufy. My most recent issue is that you updated your app and it may sound trivial. I’ve installed two cameras in my 84 yr old mom’s apartment. The cameras stay on 24/7 so there’s a lot of files to be deleted daily but you put banner message “video clips have been deleted “ a not really necessary message right over the button to select from the list of files, so every time a page full I have to wait for that message to clear since selecting all and then delete only deletes a page full. My hope is you can move or remove this message or when selecting all, it would actually select ALL. I’m sure to some this sounds trivial but when it’s something you have to deal with daily it can get annoying . I still believe Eufy is the best out there and I’m sure they are always looking for ways to improve their product but I believe the last app update was tiny step back.

Bad App Bad Ai Bad Camera Bad Everything. App continuously logs me out for no reason and when I use Face ID to log in it just viciously cycles the app and logs me in and out over and over amd I have to quit the app and log in again. And then when I’m finally in it takes forever for the live feed to load and let’s say you think someone is breaking in your house or think something strange is going on outside by the time the camera shows the live stream something bad might’ve already happen or someone might’ve already gotta to you. Also the AI they use to record the clips pics and chooses when and when not to record you could walk right in front of the camera clearly visible and it won’t notify you or record anything but if you do the same thing a few minutes later it may or may not record. Just a really bad app and if you want a camera for safety against intruders this is not the Camera you want by the time the app loads any thing it’ll be too late for you

Almost perfect app. I really like my eufy 2K indoor cam. And I really like the app that controls it. The interface is well thought out and the options are clear and easy to navigate. The image quality is great even while streaming, and the options of storage are plentiful, ranging between cloud, HomeKit, RTSP and SD card. Why 3 stars only? 1. The RTSP implementation is buggy. In my experience setting it is a breeze, but afterward my NAS loses communication with the camera and the only way to make it come back (briefly), is to delete the camera and add it again, from scratch. This is the only camera in my Synology that loses connection. 2. While the app has Geofencing, and it works perfectly, instead of simply shutting down the camera after you return home, the app merely stops recording events, but the camera AI is still tracking you, and, recording or not, it is frankly disconcerting to see the camera follow you around the room even if it’s true that it is not recording. I can tell it to power off manually, but then I have to remember to turn it back on before I leave the ne t day, or it will stay powered down.

Do NOT BUY EUFY RIGHT NOW. Eufy used to be awesome. However, their latest update has endangered my family. Motion detection is unreliable - CLEAR motion is left undetected but sometimes cameras go off for literally no reason and record like crazy. Lights randomly turn on and off with no events apparently recorded. The ‘decrypting local storage’ message has appeared abs now I can never view events because it literally takes FIVE MINUTES TO ‘DECRYPT’. Cameras randomly go offline. Thumbnails aren’t updated. Notifications aren’t reliable when the cameras finally DO detect motion. Overall, I am absolutely livid that I placed my trust in Eufy. My family’s safety is paramount and after investing the time and over $2k in this setup, I am left with unreliable software and hardware. I don’t know what the development team is doing but they CLEARLY need to either hire a QA department or hire better QA because clearly the dev team is unreliable and enjoys placing people in situations where they could be harmed because their products are a failure.

Worst cameras ever bought. Have the dual doorbell camera and flood light camera set up. Have two others but main issue is these two. Notifications do not come through until AFTER someone has already left. Had UPS guy walk up driveway, up the stairs and place package down and didn’t get notification until he was starting to drive away. That has occurred several times. I can NEVER catch anyone unless they stand at my door for longer than two minutes. When a notification comes through on flood light cam and you click on it, it does not take you to a live view. It takes you to the recording. Give me the live view!! It also doesn’t detect anyone until they are a couple feet from camera even though I have sensitivity and every other setting set at the highest. What’s the use if you can’t ever catch activity when it’s happening. Fully regret buying Eufy. Too bad return window is closed. Should have stuck with Lorex.

Works well but have some suggestion. I love all my Eufy security cams, I currently have 4 on my house that I am able to monitor most all areas except for private rooms inside and out of my home and it’s great to be able to check into my dog at home and the backyard or front yard for packages or just to feel more secure knowing my home is safe. Having said that the only issue that I would love to see an option for is a very simple user interface correction or bare minimum toggle option to go in and select ALL recordings to delete them or do whatever other tasks one might do. It is a tedious and annoying task to go through each day individually, hit select all, hit delete then have to wait two seconds for the pop up at the top screen to clear so I can click back another day to eventually clear all data when I want to. I understand videos after so many months gets deleted but also having 99+ on all of my cameras is a bit of a pet peeve of mine and it feels nice to occasionally go into the app and just delete everything saved on the drives. Please Eufy talk to your app devs and see if this small update can be done because it’s the easiest functionality to add for them and would make tons of peoples small amount of OCD love Eufy that much more. You can have the best hardware in the world but if your user interface to work it has annoyances left and right then the overall product looses users. Overall Eufy gets 8/10 so far though and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Completely unreliable. This is the only app I’ve ever reviewed because I feel strongly that others should know what they’re getting into. This app and the camera systems are fairly unreliable. I have two outdoor cams and they’ve both suddenly stopped recording new videos. Despite the 32 GB memory cards, only about 20 videos are available even though the cameras have been on and should have been recording for weeks. The app shows that events happened every day, but no videos are available. This seemed to coincide with an updated version of the app and I saw a Eufy forum post about a bug in the app decrypting the videos. I disabled my cameras for a few days hoping a new version of the app would be released and I would get access to the videos. However, that has not happened and the app still shows that events occurred even on the days when the cameras were off. This app has data reuse issues as well as an incompatibility with the cameras themselves. Despite many requests in the eufy forum for a public facing api so that we can build our own app, Eufy has not responded. In short, they advertise that you own your data but in reality you can only view it through their app and you’re relying on the assumption that their technology works. Unfortunately for me, my car was damaged during the period when these videos are not accessible. I WISH I HAD CHOSEN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAMERA SYSTEM. I went with eufy to avoid cloud services and because it was cheap. I have regrets.

In its current state not good!. ***None of my events throughout the day are even showing up now. Cameras take forever to view live when they use to be fast enough*** PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!! Eufy use to be one of the best out there and have used several of their different cameras for years. They were a step ahead of others and they listened to their customers. However they now seem to be falling behind and appear to have no clue on what’s going on. In its current state it’s no good and can no longer recommend using them. I’m thinking one of the last updates has made it barely usable. Previously the cameras caught two crimes the police were able to use. Now it takes forever to view my cameras live when I need to see something going on. Sometimes it doesn’t even load up. Most the time what I’m trying to see has already come and gone before it allows me to view. This is unacceptable and puts my family at risk!! I own over 8 Eufy cameras have purchased some for family members and recommended to friends. Planned on buying several more as gifts and excited to purchase the new camera releases. I can no longer do so and will not in its current state. Please fix or will be moving to a different platform!

Lot of Glitches and bugs. I purchases video smart door lock and was in love with it. Based on this I decided to purchase all security devices(Eufycam S330 solarcam) from eufy instead of Google to keep same security ecosystem. Now I am regretting my decision as I found lot of issues in the app like 1. Under Events, recording date does not change automatically to next day. You have to manually change the date. 2. Not all recording appears on Events section, you would need to go to individual devices to see the recordings. Although it starts to appear in Event after sometime has gone by. I could have turned blind eye on these issues however the biggest one which I got was its ability to recognize faces and ignore unnecessary notification. It was working perfectly fine for some time however recently it stopped working and although I had the “Ignore Notification” turned on for familiar faces, my phone was still flooded with motion detection notifications even though it was recognizing the faces in recording clips. I have worked with tech support and provided all the details but not heard anything so far. Hence one star from me for this app.

Extremely happy with eufy!!!. I purchased the Ring Doorbell/Camera and a month later stopped getting all the recorded clips as apparently it was only free for the first month. They wanted a monthly subscription to continue with the video recording gs as it gets stored in the Cloud. Luckily, I was able to return it on the 34th day and only lost about $10 for the FedEx cost to ship back. Did some research for a system that doesn’t require a monthly subscription and found eufy who are the makers of the Anker chargers of which I have 4 wall, 4 car and have gifted at least 8 to friends and family during past Christmases. Anker makes quality products so it was a no brained to go ahead and purchase eufy. It’s basically a clone of the Ring system but without the monthly subscription fee as it comes with a small base that houses a hard drive that stores the video clips for free. The base also acts as a door bell. I say that it is a clone of Ring but in fact I think it’s better than Ring... much better if you ask me!

Who thought a persistent product sale pop up ad was a good idea?. Generally the app is a good interface for the Eufy video doorbell I bought. But there is an increasingly annoying focus on product sale promotion in the app. A couple of days ago they crossed a personal line with me. Every time I open the app — every single time — I get a product sale pop up ad that I have to dismiss before I can use any app functionality. If someone is ringing the doorbell, I have to dismiss the ad before I can even see the video feed, let alone respond to whomever is at the door. Same thing if I want to see a live feed, recorded clip, or change a setting. The whole idea of a video doorbell is to quickly see who is at the door. Putting a barrier up that greatly slows down that function for self serving purposes is a very customer unfriendly move. Your marketing needs are not more important than my potential safety. It’s all really too bad — this is otherwise a quality app with decent functionality that keeps connectivity for the video and audio live feed without eating bandwidth. The app/doorbell is a solid value with good reliability.

Ring floodlight MUCH better than eufy. One year ago I installed a Eufy Floodlight Cam at the back of my house. At the same time I put a Ring floodlight cam at the front of my house. The eufy was great at first; great video quality + zero subscription fee although the Ring was performing very well. 6 months later the efuy started to give errors: 1. when trying to view live video I get “unable to view live video” 2. When trying to view recorded events I get “failed to load video clips please pull down to refresh” Randomly the camera will begin to deliver video events that are recorded and allow live view as well. There is no rhyme or reason why it works some time but not others. I’ve checked everything - connection is solid, software is up to date. The only conclusion I can make is that eufy is garbage. Meanwhile I have NEVER had an issue with my ring floodlight. Never. At my other house I have Blink and that is also going strong 1.5 years after installation. Guess what can I’ll be buying this Black Friday? Hint: it won’t be an eufy.

Overall Eufy experience: not bad. I started with Blink cameras back at their beginning and have a dozen of them. They’ve been mostly okay, but Amazon’s done little by way of improvement over the years since acquiring them. I decided to try Eufy after reading a lot of good reviews. So far, so good, hardware, at least. About the same cost as Blink, but noticeably better images and respond much quicker. The claimed 6 month battery life is (for me) overly optimistic - I’m getting about half that, but Blink’s claimed 2 years was overly optimistic too, so maybe it’s me. The app… well... It doesn’t play well with other apps on my iPad, so I can’t run it split screen. I was disappointed in the limitations of HKSV but the blame for that goes to Apple. It’s touch and go when I need to temporarily disable a camera - sometimes it works, sometimes it just spins forever and eventually fails. And the marketing… grrr. An ad once on opening would be one thing, but today it’s Every. Single. Time. I. Open. The. App… all day… ON EVERY DEVICE! Other than those noted annoyances, I’m good with Eufy.

Initial thoughts. Everything works as it should. It’s day 1 and I have not got around tinkering with the settings. The motion detection on the other hand. I did mess around with those configurations. Low is too close and the next highest is to far. For my specific use case, cam is using the panned mount along with the entrance to my porch and the position of my door from the entrance is weird. So the provided zoning option’s doesn’t work.(for me) I also literally just got a “human alert” on my doorbell cam and nobody was there. Maybe the AI is still learning? (It’s only been a day) I am guessing it takes a little bit of time for it to tighten up its algorithms. Anyways the app is easy to understand so far. I just started down the smart home road. So once I have more experience with the automation features then I can leave a detailed review over this app.

Excellent Cameras. We have owned several brands of cameras and custom security systems, but most were hard wired into stick built houses. When we bought a house in Mexico that was, for the most part, built of concrete, I turned to battery powered cameras primarily for ease of installation. Of the 2 brands of battery cameras I have bought, Eufy has out performed the other by an incomparable margin. Since we live 6 months in Mexico and 6 months in the US, I needed a camera that would operate consistently for 6 months on a single charge. Both brands made that claim but only Eufy passed the test. In fact I can rely on them for about 7 months with consistent text alerts and excellent video quality. 2 charges per year and you are good to go. The mounts are also simple ant strong. Yes, I would recommend for almost any application.

Great Hardware, Software Seriously Lacking. Eufy builds quality cameras and they function well, but the software, specifically the settings for and the actual recordings are terrible. Most of the time I don’t see a car or person enter the frame on playback because it starts recording when the object is halfway through the frame, then keeps recording for 7-10 seconds after the object leaves the frame. Can’t it time shift enough to capture a few seconds before entry through a few seconds after departing? I’ve tried every different setting, including Custom and it’s always the same. HomeKit video is awful too. Most of those clips are a second long if they’re in there at all. You know who’s software does it right? Logitech. Always a recording that starts before the action and runs until the action is over. No choosing how long to make the video - it’s smart enough to know what to do from a few seconds to over a minute of activity.

Just locked my phone up for hours. Where the heck is your quality control team? I haven’t had any issues until tonight and I’ve had the app for about six months which makes me think you have a serious bug in an update. I received a movement alert and opened it. The app open screen came up and just hung there. I couldn’t swipe up to close the app and I couldn’t use the force reset by pressing the buttons. It got to the point where I had to turn on the flashlight to try and drain the battery. After about three hours I thought to try Siri and asked it to go to the Home Screen which actually worked (crazy right?!) and I restarted the phone. I’m afraid to try and open the app again because what if it locks and Siri doesn’t work? I did a quick Google search and I see very recent posts of people having the same issue. Can you try a little harder to make a product that works? I know making an app it’s really hard but if you can’t do it don’t waste everyone’s time. I’m on an iPhone 11. I have two of the eufy indoor pan tilt security cameras. I’m using the eufy security app.

Outstanding customer service. I was having an issue with a newly installed floodlight camera. The camera worked flawlessly, but the floodlights would not properly operate from dusk to dawn for more than two days. I contacted customer service and after several tries was able to adequately explain the issue I was experiencing. The team got to work and after several days provided a firmware download that fixed the issue. I appreciate their dedication to sticking with the process until complete resolution was achieved. Lisa and her team did an outstanding job. I am completely satisfied and am very confident in all the Eurydice security products I have purchased to date. Well done. I highly recommend their products and aftermarket service and support!

Total failure of an app/product.. I purchased the eufy cam 2c cameras because I was going to be taking a 2 month long trip out of the country and there had been home burglary in my neighborhood recently. For two weeks, everything worked great; I was able to see my house and surrounding area whenever I wanted from overseas. Then suddenly everything disappeared and it said I had no devices connected. So when I got home after nearly two months of having a literally useless security setup, I find that I need to reset the home base and re-add the cameras, which requires climbing all the way up to the roof again to bring the cameras close enough to the home base (read: immediately next to the home base) in order to bring it back online??? This is absolutely absurd. Total waste of money. These cameras and this app have precisely ONE purpose, and it failed miserably. I’m in total disbelief at how stupidly this was designed. So frustrating. Read up on this issue: apparently it’s very common, just google it. Lots of people complaining about this issue with no actual resolution from eufy. If it were just a one off incident I wouldn’t have written a review. Be ware.

Great doorbell cam!. Was researching doorbell cams and naturally already knew about the ring, my existing doorbell is wireless and at the time ring didn’t seem to offer an easy solution, came across the Eufy and the more I researched it the more I liked it and decided to give it a try, turned out to be a great decision, price is very reasonable, especially compared to other brands, super easy to install and very user friendly, being wireless i was a little concerned about how often the supplied battery pack would need to be recharged, they said in their instructions approx every 6 months which I thought was very reasonable compared to the alternative of having to hard wire a doorbell in, also its been about 4 months already and its been working flawlessly and gives me the piece of mind when my kids are home alone plus the battery pack still says 90%, highly recommend this product!

App getting stuck. We’ve had the app for nearly a year with few issues. Lately it’s been lagging when opening the app, delaying when playing a video, it freezes if I stop a video mid-stream to pause and enlarge, and just today it totally froze up my phone requiring a hard restart. Looks like many others have had this issue since the newest version was released two weeks ago. Please fix the app! As for longer-term issues, there is a setting, where you can determine if you want a shorter video clip versus a longer clip, however, that doesn’t always hold. If the camera senses that there is no more movement, it stops recording even if it’s on a longer clip setting. However, in most cases I can see clearly that there is additional movement after the clip has ended (such as a human walking their dog, dog stops to go to the bathroom and the clip ends mid-stream because the human & dog stopped moving… and the human & dog have to leave my property but the camera didn’t pick up their movement leaving because it was too busy saving the clip). I wish there was a way to specify how long each clip is, for example minimum of 20 seconds, even if there’s no further movement.

Excited at first but DISAPPOINTING overall. We bought Eufy doorbell cameras for 4 different properties. At first, we kept getting false alerts where the cameras would send us alerts and record 1-2 minute video clips because they thought everything from a railing post to a tree was a person. We adjusted the “human recognition” sensitivity settings and this happened much less. This biggest disappointment is several of the devices will simply go offline with no warning or alert. We only discover this when we decide to check the live feed on the property as we have not gotten motion alerts in a while. We confirm there is WiFi at the property but still get told the doorbell is not connected to WiFI. We called Eufy tech support and they told us to try restarting the device from our phone. We try doing this dozens of times but the restart option appears hit or miss, with it only working about 1 out of 20 attempts. The lack of reliability alone makes these virtually useless. Can’t call it a “security camera” if it just goes offline at random, doesn’t notify you that has occurred and there is no surefire way to troubleshoot and get them back online.

EUFY vs RING DOORBELL. Well the verdict is in. EUFY wins by a knockout. Comparing Ring Doorbell to EUFY is like comparing apples to oranges. Ring Doorbell is not even in the minor leagues. More like the rookie league. The clarity I’d say is beyond amazing. My wife would complIn that the video is so blurry on the Ring Doorbell. So I researched it and came up with the winner. The EUFY Doorbell camera. My EUFY is at least 10 to 12 feet away. If I whisper the EUFY picks it up loud and clear. Something the Ring Doorbell can not do. The battery life is out of this world. EUFY claims 6 months on one charge. I’ve had it 1 month and it’s still going strong. My Ring Doorbell would be dead n a few days. I have 2 EUFY. Both are fantastic. BUT 1 is wired only and the other is wired or battery. IMHO, I’d go for the wired/battery version. Either way you go. You’ll be getting an absolute sweet door bell camera. I just can’t wait to order the EUFY dome camera and outside flood camera.

Options. This is all New to me unfortunately I’ve had to get security cameras on my home after 33 years. I had some misfortune and now neighbors are just being plain ugly leaving all kinds of insulting things at my house around my front door main thing sad for no reason. hence I have to have proof for the police that have come here each night for the past five nights in time after time have to have proof. what’s so funny is nothing has been stolen it’s just for instance a huge shopping cart of trash left in my front door outside my screen porch front I’ve had a stolen bicycle put on my property so the thief that took it come back and get it later I’ve had can Tainer‘s of gasoline put in the back of the pick up truck so the thief could come back and use it for a moped of his now this thief is a squatter. i’ve never been the kind of person that has to show out but I am very good at doing it because of the upbringing I had in the schools I went to junior high school especially. The one thing I do wish is it would move with like a car I wish it would move with the motion of the car. I haven’t even had them for one week yet but so far so good because a month ago I was actually using my phone to follow cars that I thought might look suspicious and I did very good at that. also I was I had already gotten into almost a contract with ADT my daughter is the one that said hey want to try this thank God I did thank you again.

This app went from good to bad to worse. After the last couple App updates I no longer receive any sensor, camera, or alarm alerts. It appears to log many of the entries but under devices the event badge shows zero events for the day even if the captured photo for the camera shows a recent event. The alarm sensors work intermittently. No alerts, sometimes log, show an incorrect status. I can hold a door open and it doesn't alert, the status shows closed... while browsing back and forth it sometimes decides it's open then goes back to closed while still open. I have 4 Homebase units at different locations and different Internet providers. All are broken. I've restarted everything including the phone. I've triple checked all settings even though I changed none. This system has become completely useless to me but worked great a week ago... prior to the app updates. With zero notifications and incorrect status and logging across all 4 sites what's the point? This is the danger of the cloud. I can't interact with the devices unless their cloud and App are up and working properly.

A high quality product. Bought this for my backyard and was impressed with the product. First of all, it is well built with high quality material. Then it functions exactly as advertised with high quality 2k video. The two way audio is superb. I use it to communicate with my kids when they are playing in the backyard, and I could hear them very clearly (our house is a two storey building and the floodlight is about 12 feet from the ground). Motion detection works great, and the light is activated at night when there is motion. The siren also works great. Setup was easy, within minutes. The app works seamlessly and it is easy to navigate. I like the idea of the internal storage, where you don’t have to be paying any subscription for iCloud. The only downsize is the 3GB internal storage limit and how it does not integrate with their Homebase 2, like their other products. This would have provided additional storage space for this product. Overall it’s a great buy for anyone looking for a high quality floodlight camera with similar capabilities as the popular ones but without the monthly subscription.

Awesome Home Security system and company!!!. I would like to start by saying Eufy is a great company that cares for their customers 100%. Before I buy anything I like to do my homework and after researching for days and contacting support for a few technical questions I had, we decided to buy some cameras to test them. First of all, these cameras are awesome. Great video resolution, video quality is very clear and the motion is clean. The Homebase 2 storage is fixed at 16 GB, we have been using it for about a month and it’s not even 15% of the storage. Features are great, the speakers and talk back are great. The siren alarm is loud enough to call people attention and scare whoever would like to try to steal the cameras. We love it so much that we decided to invest more in Eufy Security by getting more cameras and a doorbell 2K for our house. We are looking forward in getting the new smart door lock device that they are releasing soon I hope. Overall, this system is amazing specially on storing your videos locally not on the cloud for privacy and security. We definitely didn’t go wrong with this system. Thank you Eufy for providing a great product for the protection of our home.

Missing events with 4.5.4. For those complaining about missing events it took several days to get a response from eufy support who initially considered it a problem with my app/phone. After providing more information they followed up this removal was intentional by the engineering team and they are considering adding it back but provided no timeline or comment to doing so. This effectively makes these cameras useless. There is a event view mode before you go into playback mode but that only plays event clips. No way to see what happens around each individual event. I was willing to stick with them despite the security issues since I was not using push notifications and only ran their HomeKit cameras in HKSV mode which I think didn’t suffer from the potential data breach. But after they pulled one of the most useful features I’m now looking into other camera solutions. They should have at least noted it in their release notes! Hope this review helps stop someone from investing in their ecosystem.

I’m overall happy with it. I did a lot of research before getting a camera. So many had mixed reviews and as a single woman who’s only slightly tech savvy I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to figure it out, but it was fairly easy! Just had to call my internet company to get me the 2.5 setting and they did that easily. It makes me feel very safe and I can keep an eye on my dogs when they are in the backyard. There are some things that could be better. My main complaint is that I wish I could snooze it for longer. 12 hours isn’t long enough. Days or weeks would be nice. I would be thrilled just to have a snooze setting for a full 24 hours because I don’t want to be notified all the time, but still want it to record events just in case I need to look back at the recordings for something. This camera did help me catch a fight between my boys and my neighbor boys. They neighbor boys tried to say my son started it, but the camera clearly caught the neighbor boy throwing the first punch. So overall a great camera and app and I’m very grateful for it.

Getting better! Hardwired needs to send to homebase though. Eufy Security crashes every second video or so. This more than doubles the time it should take to simply download security videos. Additionally, all the videos from today, February 29, are labeled February 28! I guess these coders weren’t around for Y2K!! LOL FAIL. This concerns me, for what other bugs lurk in there hiding and waiting to bite us? I think it’s gotten better with one of the secret background updates. Now, if Anker could just figure out how to make a battery pack that will deliver power AUTOMATICALLY, when it’s needed, rather than only when you first plug your device in and then shutting down, these remote cameras could last for more than a couple of weeks. Now they just need to combine the hardwired with the battery powered, to deliver three-second pre-roll, 24/7 video recording, REMOTE recording to the homebase (so when someone grabs your doorbell camera and leaves with all your packages and the doorbell camera, at least you have the recording on the homebase inside!)

Unwavering top notch customer service. The news about doorbell thumbnail images being uploaded to eufy cloud was alarming… however people need to know that Eufy is on top of this and making sure customers are aware that 1. They have a choice about selecting thumbnails or not, and 2. Eufy is not trying to steal personal information . The thumbnails go to their cloud storage just long enough to send them to phone apps and then they are deleted. I researched all the major security cameras before I bought a eufy system 2 years ago. I chose eufy because I could store all the data locally. Cloud storage is optional. I even drowned my indoor blink camera in a bowl of water before discarding it (I hate that technology winds up in landfills but there you have it). I had trouble with one of my first cameras and eufy replaced it immediately. They even replaced the mounting hardware at no charge even though the issue was mine rather than theirs. Today I talked to customer service rep David R. And my total confidence in Eufy is restored. No hardware is ever going to be perfect in the age of cyber theft but I’m confident that Eufy will be a leader. By the way, their batteries are Anker products and I have confidence in Anker as well. Power surge protectors, portable battery chargers for cellphones and tablets, and long lasting security camera batteries. Well done.

Suggested software improvements. Our property has two driveways. One on each side of the house. I installed a system with four cameras. One facing the front of the house, one in the back, and one on each side. During the day, there is a significant amount of foot traffic which activates the cameras many times which unnecessarily shortens usable battery service between recharges. We’ve been turning cameras off daily during these peak activity times, and turn them on in the evening and through the overnight when it is more important for them to be in service. However, we have occasionally forgotten to turn them on which can be concerning. The suggestion is to see if a schedule timer can be added to the software so that the cameras can be set to automatically turn on and off at predetermined intervals. I’m certain that there are other Eufy customers that would welcome this feature as well. With this added feature, not only will there be peace of mind knowing the cameras activate and deactivate when expected, the battery service will be extended between the need to recharge .

Not worth it. I bought these cameras to record activity when I am not at my home. These cameras are not reliable to do this. All the other positive reviews here may very well not realize how many detections they are missing. I do, and documented all them. I miss several recordings, that I know of, every day! This occurred on two sets of cameras I have owened. I was given a new set due to cameras not charging correctly. Eufy customer service requested my data to look into the issue of missing recordings and never got back to me. It’s been over two months with no response. (Unless you count them requesting me to contact customer service in response to another review I gave) So unless you really want to spend a lot of money just to watch an area live, don’t waste your money. My frustration comes mostly from these cameras not only missing activity in my activity zones on a regular basis, but also recording activity outside my detection zones on a regular basis! The worst of both worlds. Eufy not giving a response most likely because it can’t be fixed. Friend who stated he likes his Eufy cameras says he is also aware he misses detections. Too much money just to watch live footage.

The app has no ability to perform routine functions. The cameras are great. The app is horrible and prevents you from customizing your setup as needed. You can’t implement logical use cases in automation. then tediously delete events by day while they only display a maximum of 20 events, so a lot of “select all 20 events, delete, load the next 20 events and select all and delete. Then, choose the next day and repeat, It can take hours to delete events within a 3 month timeframe. Because You can only delete recorded events by individual day, not a date range. No functionality to “only store events from the last 3 months and auto delete all older events. Basic expected functionality is severely missing so you are limited I don’t think they have a User experience team. this app limits the full potential. Very frustrating. The R&D team don’t seem to use Eufy in real life situations otherwise they would see how weak, frustrating, and lack of needed functionality this app has. No logic to its design and they don’t seem to add needed functionality to the app, just bug fixes, which causes more bugs and you can’t do anything to triage the bugs that create a large security problem when cameras decide not to record intermittently after it updates. I could pay a high schooler to make a better more functional, reliable app than this even if it is their first App they have attempted to create.

Frequently freezes and requires a phone reset to exit the app. The cameras are really top notch, but the app freezes often and requires a long-power button reset to exit the app. This happens very often - around 50% of the time, most frequently when changing from portrait to landscape view, but also sometimes immediately upon opening the app. Also, in terms of functionality, there should be a way to change security modes (e.g., home or away) for all camera simultaneously with a single button. Currently you have to do this for every camera separately, which is a stupefying oversight. Furthermore, the “always-on geofencing” option for switching modes is an unacceptable privacy intrusion and should be replaced with a local bluetooth proximity switch. Common sense stuff. Finally, why is there no option for viewing all cameras live feed at the same time?

Good but needs some polishing. Overall a great app. I have it partnered with the Eufy C24 outdoor wired cameras. Response is quick and reviewing notifications is responsive and straightforward. Interface is clean and well put together. My gripe is that the activity zone seems to have no effect. I set the activity zone to eliminate the street because it goes off every time a car goes by. The app completely ignores the activity zone and still sends notifications every time a car passes. I have to put my phone on silent to sleep. I have gone into the notifications section of the app to only set notifications for pets and humans-still notifies when a car passes. Turned the sensitivity way down-still sends notifications. So frustrating. It also sometimes mistakes my wife’s flower pot for an animal and was saying the carved pumpkin on the front porch was a human. Overall, I’m very happy with the cameras and app but wish the activity zone or notifications setting features would work properly so I could avoid so many unimportant notifications.

So far so good!. We’ve been using the app with the security camera system for a few days now. Very easy to set up the system with the app. Learning now how to use the app and fiddling separately with the settings in the app for each individual camera to get the best detection and footage for that camera. So far detection has been good in our own testing of the cameras after increasing the sensitivity. Only one false alarm in the night but a good exercise in jumping on the notification, checking it out on the footage and practising what we would doing it was real. The hardest part so far has been to find the best locations to install the cameras - not the app itself!

Very pleased with purchase. Did a lot of research before deciding on EUFY cameras. I installed 4 cameras, in my driveway, front porch, backyard and kitchen, charged them for few hours the day before. Super easy to install as they are wireless plus the App made it twice as easy and the how-to videos helped as well. I really like the features it offers, 365 days battery life, local encrypted storage of videos, clear night vision that picks up even small insects and moths flying by, perfect sound can even hear what passerbys are chatting about in front of my house however the proximity can be adjusted so it doesn’t record every neighbour who’s out exercising ;) I uploaded photos of family and friends and it does have great face recognition as well. I get notifications while I’m at work that motion has been detected in my driveway or front porch or backyard and I can watch my 20s videos, see when the mailman is at my door, hold & speak to him. Can also sound the siren if it’s an intruder. EUFY does everything and more that I wanted in a security device. I can also add more cameras, and other features later on. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. Living alone as an empty nester, I bought peace of mind when I am home or away and that’s priceless!

So far so good,. Having just installed the door bell and camera, we are very happy with camera and it was easy to install. The app works well. There is a slight delay between the camera picking up human movement to when the alert comes through. Loss of one star because the in bell inside soooo loud but if we try to turn it down it also turns down the volume of the microphone so we can’t hear what they are saying and they can’t hear us. There has to be a way of separating it.

Outdoor cam. Bought the outdoor cam to keep an eye on my backyard and dogs. Very happy with my purchase and glad my research paid off. Not the cheapest option but the quality is evident right away so I’ll be buying another camera for sure. Quick and easy setup once you’ve downloaded the app and created an account. The ability to share access, which I have with my wife and son who’ve also downloaded the app, is a very good feature. Onboard micro SD card allows for local storage without a cloud account and ongoing fees.

Great security system overall. Free storage.. Hi. Very very happy . No cables or wires on installation. I purchased the security package with 4 cam and home base 8 months ago. All working well , very responsive and I get notification almost without delays. Battery still half after 8-9 months. I will buy solar panels next time I have to put it down do recharge . With solar panels for each I don’t need to recharge in the future. The alarm for intruders is very loud. Also activation by my location is very good. It turns on when I go away and turns off when I come back home. Big big plus is local storage in your mobile phone that you can download and email to anyone. Recently I purchased doorbell security cam with duo (2 cameras) because I received a lot of parcels almost every day. The new duo doorbell works good. I like de fact that the lower camera cam be pushed with the finger and direct the camera left or right. It can detect any parcel or box left at my door. The only bad thing and I hope can be updated later is that it’s a bit slow for notification if I compare with the roof camera but is not big issue. Battery also last less than 6 months. Now next plan for me will be to purchase digital door lock . Hopefully it can work well with other gadgets. Thank you eufy!!!

Good system, minor app feature would be better. Happy with purchase. Now can check what’s happening at home when I’m out. Find the doorbell audio a bit hit and miss. Often find it hard to hear what the person is saying as it breaks up. **Would REALLY REALLY like the app developer to add an option for changing the notification sound within the settings of the app. It’s hard to distinguish the security notifications from the hundreds of other notifications from 3rd party apps on iPhone. Apple said only the developer can change this.** PLEASE CONSIDER!

Great system … but!. I love the EUFY system, it works seamlessly … but … the feature I love and hate the most is Geofencing. It is supposed to arm the system when my mobile phone leaves the home but it never works for more than a few weeks before the connected mobiles have to ‘refresh’ the app by force closing and opening every week to continue working correctly. It’s claims the mobiles connected are ‘out of the zone’ when I’m sitting in my lounge room using the EUFY app to review footage. If geofencing was fixed this will be a major win for everyday use.

Parental care…. I’ve installed the 2K camera system consisting of 2 cameras, which took all of 10 minutes max. The main reason for the installation of this system is to keep an eye on my 88 year old father. One camera in the living room showing the front door and one camera in the kitchen showing the back door. Dad has fallen a few times and not been able to get help until someone actually turned up at home. This way I can see if he is ok and ask him if he needs help if he can’t get to a phone. Clarity amazing ease of installation amazing. Love them..

Easy to use but full of bugs that make it almost useless. Both the indoor and outdoor cameras are easy to set up and use. But there are a lot of bugs in the software, most annoyingly 1) the geofencing doesn’t work and they can’t fix it yet, so you need to manually change the setting for every camera individually each time you come and go 2) the motion detection can’t accurately differentiate people and animals anymore, so you can’t use motion detection if you have any pets, and they also can’t fix that yet 3) the app frequently freezes while accessing video of a live notification, so if a burglary was in progress you couldn’t actually see or do anything 4) when it is working the app keeps sending notifications even while you’re watching the live feed of the source, so you can’t see the video due to the constant popping up of notifications which get in the way of actually doing anything. It doesn’t seem that there is any real testing of the user experience in the development process

Amazing, room for improvements though. Really great app, good quality and price for security. Would love to see 2 new features added for the iPad version 1.Be able to watch more then just 1 screen at a time, because iPads have bigger screens I would suggest being able to watch 4 on a screen at once. 2. Would be when you are watching a camera and have others connected, it would be nice to be able to simply swipe left or right to view another camera instead of having to hit the back arrow at top of screen and then scroll down to find the view you want. Again great app and would be 5 stars with these improvements.

Not a review for the cameras but for the app. Not sure why people are reviewing the cameras on the App Store. Did you buy them through here? No, so go leave the review with the retailer and talk about your experience with the app. I’ve got exceptional internet at my home. I can be in the furthest corner of my backyard and still have 3 full bars of wifi. Yet for some reason, when trying to play live video on my phone through the app, it takes an eternity. Same with trying to pan the camera through the app. The lag is noticeable and annoying. But most recently I’m trying to download videos of my dog from the app to my phone, and the app keeps crashing. It just will not download. Please sort this out

Geofencing is the buggiest non-functioning app I’ve come across. You say you have delivered updates and bug fixes!!! How about actually fixing Geofencing instead of wiping it off as unimportant???? You keep sending me emails enticing me to buy additional products … well that isn’t going to be happening until you fix Geofencing!!! I mean, why would anybody keep putting their hard-earned into more products that do not live up to your expectations, let alone the end-user’s?? Or perhaps you would rather disillusioned Eufy customers pitch the hardware and go with Arlo or someone else You keep saying that you are working on Geofencing, but there is never an update for it or any news of when it will be corrected.

Eufy Homebase 2. The quality of the product itself, it's a premium product and brand for a fraction of the price of leading competitors. The whole system runs perfectly and is designed and built with greater functionality than I would have expected and has an ease of use for its features. I'm a single mother and was able to install the cameras (with just a ladder and drill) connect up the system to the internet and got it all set up and running all by myself quickly and easily without any issues or fussy instructions. It's been great so far no issues and has worked very smooth and impressively. Well done Eufy! You were recommended by a friend and now I've been raving on about it to my friends and family. Thank you very much, truly appreciate the peace of mind and security it provides for me and my young daughter. Especially when a predator has previously tried to sneak up and snatch my daughter from my front porch, this will help with protecting, preventing and maintaining a sense of security, safety and peace for me as a sole parent.

Smart lock. The schedule function only has the capacity to program a lock and unlock time, you can’t set only one part of that function. So if I forget to turn the schedule off then my door will be unlocking itself while I’m away. It would be better for my use if the schedule was able to just lock the door at night and I’ll unlock it manually when I feel like it. Then I don’t need to worry about remembering to change it. That seems like a simple change to the app. Maybe less of a problem with locks connected to wifi as you can change that setting remotely. Why is 3 minutes the limit on the auto lock timer? Not app related, but the lock supposedly can detect when the door is closed…. It definitely can’t, and locks itself when the door isn’t closed. A little disappointed by the whole thing. The packaging, instructions and quality seem great so far. And I’ve sent at least 6 emails to the company over the last two months and haven’t had any emails returned. In Australia.

Peace of mind. The security system and cameras are so very easy to set up and run. I have only had one minor problem that Eufy staff fixed very quickly and the system has run smoothly in the years since. I thoroughly recommend Eufy security systems. We installed the system at the recommendation of police after being robbed and it certainly gives enormous peace of mind when away from the house and when things go bump in the night.

This is the one. This security camera system and app are amazing. I have 4 of the just released cameras with the home base and door cam, the cameras are fantastic they have everything I was looking for and more, the image quality is great and the app is very user friendly. The only thing I could pick on is I have to screen record the videos I want to keep, but that’s only because I haven’t figured out where exactly it stores it’s recordings and how to view and save them on my phone - I’ll figure it out eventually but any tips would be appreciated 😂

Fantastic. My family are very happy with this camera. My daughter says it is better than the one her electrician said for her to buy. In fact we will be putting up another camera at the front of the house. So I highly recommend for anybody to purchase this camera. My daughter lives suburbs away and is able to access the footage from the App on her phone. We had purchased a solar security light that didn’t last very long, but the light on the camera is fantastic and lights up the courtyard. Couldn’t be happier. ❤️

It’s greater than slice bread!. Iv always wanted to have a reliable security camera network I can trust. I listen the the people around me of their thoughts on what’s best! I was lead to believe the if you want the best you buy the most expensive, and I did so. I researched my needs and what camera was the best for it I came up with a brand the has a name of a bird with a long neck. At first it was “OK” until I really depended on it. It let me down massively!! I couldn’t review past footage and the time delay was 15 seconds and lagged something terrible!! After almost having a tantrum and throwing it in the bin I bet back and did my own research I what I need. I came across eufy got one bundle and set it up. After a month I found thing I didn’t know that would be handy with the features of the eufy. I love eufy I’ll for ever be getting it and always be upgrading as they develop these great add ons. I’m so happy with eufy I wish I had a job there, just to see the new thing before everyone else. From the happiest customer ever Manu

All cameras need to be groupable. When arriving/leaving home, without geofencing, you need to manually arm or disarm which is fine. All cameras connected through the home base work together but any additional cameras need to be armed/disarmed separately. Please update your software so this can all be armed as one if the user chooses to group them. Other systems have this, so why not Eufy? (Geofencing is not always the answer either - it is hard on the phones battery and doesn’t allow flexibility for certain situations).

Good system but a few extra things could be improved. We had a Ring system but it was not picking up licence plates. We changed to Eufy and these are now visible. Couple of things that would be better that we enjoyed with Ring was that when a car or person was spotted we had a doorbell that rang on our patio as we don’t usually have our ringers on in our phones. With eufy the only way is for someone to physically press the doorbell. Also, the alert on the lock screen of your phone - we could hold our finger on it and get a preview rather than actually having to unlock the phone and go into the app. It also had the functionality of being able to silence notifications for 30 mins or an hour.

Good system overall. No subscription required. A really clear view, even at night, and you can activate a spotlight on them if you need to. You can also activate an alarm, and some have an internal burglar alarm in case someone tries to remove them. Battery powered, which lasts quite a while if location is low use. Solar panels are available, to keep your batteries charged. Can detect motion but doesn’t start to capture until a few seconds have passed, eg: a car going past quickly will only capture taillights. We’ve adapted by using indoor pan tilt cameras outdoors in covered areas as they can be hardwired in and record 24/7. Outdoor cameras have extra heat protection available, and withstand the rain. (We live in a hot climate, so don’t have any snow or ice.) They capture sounds, but speech comes across scratchy and can be difficult to understand. There’s a current bug where I have notifications of an event but I can’t view them unless I completely power off and then restart my phone. Please fix.

Please please pretty pleeeease. Can you please add a feature into the app where the geofencing also allows you to fully turn off the camera when you’re home. I absolutely love these cameras, specifically the one with the lens that fully turns around when it’s off so you definitely know you’re not being watched. I just thought it would’ve been obvious that this should work with geofencing so that when you have guests in your home, they can see that the cameras are off and don’t get creeped out. Please reply and let me know if this feature is coming soon.

First time use. Camera has great clarity in colour or black and white (night vision). The distance I need to see it for is brilliant 10-20m. Only fault I have seen so far is that a very small percentage it won’t recognise movement and won’t record. Unsure if it is cause it is a blind spot in the camera or the movement is to quick for it to recognise, it always seems to be on one side of the camera. Other then that little blind spot it is brilliant home security for what I need. Gave a 4 star rating because there is always room for improvement.

June 2021 update crashes. The new App update for iOS for June 2021, rashes after 3 seconds of opening it. This only seems to be happening with the use of Cell data. Multiple users in Australia have reported this but the customer service here still has not replied for a resolution to this problem. DO NOT update your app if you have not done so yet. Previous to the update the App worked very well with Cell Data, I would hold off buying anymore products here in Australia until this has been fixed, as it defeats the purpose of having a security system if you can’t access the cameras when away from your home WiFi. Eufy fix the problem and your customer service

Bug issues. Last update has cause bug issues and the latest iOS update has not resolved this. Screen is completely black on all cameras and even for live view. Checked cameras work took them down and worked when in the house but as soon as they are installed they black out again. Nothing else has changed other than the update and I’m incredibly disappointed Prior to this they worked really well although sometimes they mistook leaves on the tree for a person on my door. Support is hard to find so hoping a get a response here otherwise they are going back to the store. They are less than 12 months old and this has really disappointed me

Overall pretty good. I have a EUFY 2k wired doorbell. Overall I am happy with the doorbell and the app. But some simple improvements could make it a lot better: • 30 Second Pre-Record Buffer - so that when movement is detected, the 30 seconds prior to that are recorded - this could easily be possible on the wired version as it’s hard wired and battery life is not a concern. The reason I have suggested this is that in a lot of my recordings, the person has already reached the front door before the recording starts… • More settings then just play/pause when watching a video clip. Eg, playback in quarter/half speed, x2. Ability to zoom in. Next frame/previous frame. • Custom shape exclusion zones. For example - trees are not square? But their movement always sets my camera off when it’s a little windy. And I don’t want to have to block out more of the activity zone then required. Thank you.

Excellent App and security. Overall this app is great and have lot of functions like privacy mode and Active Zone. I am not. Giving it 5* because there are improvement I can this of: Privacy mode only have 2 area and cannot have more. And also with Motion Detection I hope it can be like some other security camera that can have detect Human (which is available), animal and vehicle instead of all motion. Otherwise, this will be a perfect security app/camera! As when I set All Motion, all the wind blowing the trees and plants are recorded, therefore my camera need to be recharge a lot more time…

Not bad, could be better. I’m reasonably happy with my purchase so far of the Eufy camera system. It’s definitely been useful. I am still recommending to friends and family. My only annoyances at this stage are 1) the app only allows adding four security cameras to Apple HomeKit when Apple HomeKit Secure support website clearly states that it supports up to 5 cameras; and 2) Activity Zone setting, at least for doorbell camera, is flaky. Have restricted detection zone down to almost nothing and still get notifications for activity well outside configured zone. Frustrating and disappointing but not a show-stopper.

Daniel. Cameras are cool though the software is so hit and miss.. sometimes the app won’t even load live feeds, sometimes the cameras will stop picking up events and you have to hard reset everything. Don’t bother getting them unless you live in a 1 horse town, I have to charge ours every 3-4 weeks just from basic street activity, have it set to humans only and it records every single car that drives past even on its lowest sensitivity. Try doing a privacy spot to ignore cars and it ignores people at the front of the house until they’re just walking out of the frame. Very disappointing and waste of $600 when the software to back up the cameras is terrible to be fair.

Easy to use and great picture. The door bell is VERY easy to setup, which has been very reliable. The added SD storage can be viewed through the app which means no extra costs but they do have cloud storage if that’s what your after, the only bad point is the available door chimes, they have a few options but noting crash hot and the Christmas one is not Christmasy at all. I’m now looking to upgrade our cameras to the same company.

Easy to use. Self explanatory app that integrates well with your system.. Hi Today I installed my Homebase2 and 2 x eufyCam2 cameras front and rear of my home. Really happy with the ease of installation and setup in the app. I found the app easy to navigate and reasonably self instructing. One setting I’d like to suggest which makes sense to me (it’s missing but available in the Netgear Arlo) is when you select Geofencing and then Select Mode->AtMyHome you can’t select Scheduled because it’s not available. Or in simpler terms, “When using the mode Geo Fence, why can’t I set the ‘at home’ setting to scheduled”. It would be great addition to the versatility of the app. Cheers

Security second to none. Thank you. I’ve only got the indoor cam however the motion detection, alerts and always reliable notifications have made such a difference to our lives. I, we live in a area that is extremely dangerous and your device has alerted us to one life saving situation. We are saving to buy the right device for each area and the eufy home base to save what we capture, because it has kept us safe. I’ve used what I can afford at this point and the eufy indoor with AI and motion detection is a lifesaver, literally. Thank you. Alex, Chantelle and our Children.

Eufy Security App. Easy to setup the camera (mini pan, tilt indoor) with the sync button. Couldn’t find any info on max SD card size and the sales person said you can put any size in. I bought a 512Gb SD card and when I tried to format it, only then did it tell me 128Gb max SD card accepted. App adds a very easy setup and “captures” take up minimal space on the SD card which is such a cost saving, $38 for local storage, not forced to pay/subscribe to cloud storage.

Good cameras, mediocre software. Bought the camera four pack with homemade. I like the easy installation and the camera quality is good. What really let’s the system down is the software. As many people have mentioned, the geofencing does not work unless manually triggered by opening the app and refreshing the feeds. People have been complaining for over a year which seems totally ridiculous that they can’t fix this yet. It would also be good to have some IFTTT support. For example, when detected as home, switch from Away mode to Schedule mode, or turn off certain cameras. Better google Home support would be great too. Currently only works with Google hub with video screen - ie hey google show me X camera. I’d just like to be able to turn cameras on and off via voice control and Google nest mini. Seems like a missed opportunity for all the google owners that down have the hub video screen.

In eufy I trust. Started off with a digital scale…. today the i have a lot of faith in this brand because my entire house is almost eufynized. Zero subscriptions is a massive win for me and I wish Eufy do their own “hub max” for display as for their security systems such as the doorbell does not work smoothly with google nest hub max or on an ipad. So far am loving all eufy products. And the aftersale service is also amazing. I once lost my silicon plug for my security camera solar panels and they sent one to me at no cost! Little things like this is why i absolutely support eufy. Welldone and thank you!

Awful don’t buy. They lie use cloud storage it all goes to china and the cctv wether they are powered or battery fail more then they work and now they are forcing app update to force your acceptance of there lies about it being a private system when it’s clearly not and the force app update forces your acknowledgment to avoid legal proceedings against them for fraud I do not recommend this company or the reliability of there camera’s and will be removing the whole system in place for a private reliable wired system don’t trust eufy! Oh and a 1200 dollar system will only work for a year then your up for new system again not worth the money either! Invest in local companies get wired !!! this update was the last straw for me!!!!

Would get 5 stars with just one small addition. Dear Eufy. I swapped my five camera Arlo system for your cameras because of your superior home kit integration. I’m loving the cameras and the software. It’s all great, apart from one little thing… a thing which thousands of other users have also asked for - an ARM ALL CAMERAS button. For some reason you choose to split cameras into distinct groups so that I have manually arm half my cameras attached to the homebase and then manually arm the others each time I leave (and then reverse the process when I return) 🤦🏻‍♂️ All it would take us an ARM ALL option. One button added to the app. One, small, button… This has been requested again, and again, and again and yet you refuse to add it!? Why? I was hoping that in this update you would finally listen to your customers, but alas no. So it is with some sadness that I’ll start shopping around for another camera supplier who does listen… You could have been great, but once again you just turned out to be a another company who refuses to listen to their customers and prefers to dictate what we want.

Mostly Great But... Bad Geofence. Wonderful product, except one of the more important features doesn’t work 😔 You can setup a Geofence to change modes when you’re home/away. Which would be great... if it worked. To make it work everyone needs to open their phone and update there location. It’s easier to open one up and change it manually. It would also be good if you could set a Geofence & a Schedule to work together and the ability to set. A specific profile for 2hrs so you don’t forget to switch back. An Apple Watch App would also be good and easier until the Geofence is fixed.

Christine Zacharda. I have found having the cameras back and front have added to my feeling of security as I live alone. I had three attempted break ins prior to the cameras. Since then I can see who is at the front and rear of my home and have been able to take my phone to the local police station for them to copy the footage of prowlers. I also can see who is at my door before I open and even when I am away from home.

GREAT QUALITY. This system delivers so much more than you would expect at this price point. Clarity, motion and night vision is unparalleled. Highly recommend. Real time viewing and so easy to charge. We charge the wireless units every 3 months. The download feature is a bonus and the real time microphone is something I have used many times when there has been someone on premises. Would recommend and purchase again.

Very happy but app needed for smart watches. My video security doorbell works amazingly well, and in fact alerted me to a break in attempt only a week ago. It was just lucky however that I had my iPhone with me to receive the alert.I would really love to see an app available for an Apple Watch, because that is always on my wrist, where as I put my phone down at times and will miss alerts. Even though an Apple Watch can mirror your phone, it doesn’t seem that the app can be installed individually. Please make the app available for smart watches too.

Eufy Security Cameras.. Early in June , I had a home invasion. It was at another address, where I was bashed and robbed. After some weeks of hospital treatments, I have found another place to live. My Landlord quietly installed a number of security cameras, and had my phone linked to the App. It has calmed my sense of insecurity, and vulnerability. They are easily installed, and set up on the internet. I’m technically challenged, and it was easy to get me head around. I highly recommend seniors , and insecure residents, to get this brand.

A very stable app just needs event timeline scrubbing. Overall a fairly straight forward easy app to use. The most notable difference between Eufy and Arlo is how quickly live feeds begin to play. 2-3sec v 15-20sec or longer regardless off internet connection. The new daily reporting feature is an excellent edition to see at a glance activity by device. Anyone with a Ring doorbell will know how awesome it is to be able to scrub the video timeline from live back through time and any events. It’s a great way to get an idea of daily activity per device in an easy to understand method. This would be No 1 request for the Eufy app as it also saves the need to open and close each event clip. It would also be great to be able to rename any shared systems from being just called “shared”. Other than that, we find the app stable across iPhone, iPad and Samsung galaxy mobile.

Eufy security cam. I recently purchased the eufy cam 4 pack from the advice of a colleague who talked them up. Firstly during daylight hours the image is pretty well smack on, night time if there’s no outside lighting the cameras are very poor quality for night vision, only thing you can see is when a big flys past the camera. They come with some cool features though like the audible alarm and the microphone to speak through the camera. The worst part for me is though the cameras seem to record voices and wind blowing for a while minute but dnt record when people are actually walking and moving in front of the camera. The whole reason I brought these was for security but they dnt seem to record the serious things only the things that dnt matter. Hopefully you can fix this issue

Better than expected.. I’m surprised by how good the eufy range is. I’d been putting off getting cameras for years because I didn’t want to run cables through the house and I didn’t think battery powered cameras would be all that good. Eufy changed my mind. I now have 4x cameras around my house that notify me if anyone is lurking around and I just purchased the doorbell as well. The only maintenance I need to do is charge them up once every 4-5 months. Easy!

Unreliable for automatic arming. Despite it being an advertised feature of the system, the geofencing is still only in “beta” testing after 2+ years. As a result, it doesn’t work reliably. Despite the Eufy app having full location access and background refresh enabled (with subsequent battery drain) • system doesn’t arm automatically when all users have left the zone (users must open app and refresh the system feed) • system doesn’t disarm automatically when a user returns home (user must wait outside camera detection zones, open app and refresh system feed; having the app open does not improve performance) • system is known to unexpectedly arm itself despite users being at home, resulting in false alarms • system does not always silence alarm when acknowledging that the system is alerting; there is no easy to access “false alarm” button • when checking an alarm alert, the system may silence the alarm before the user has identified if it is a legitimate security threat or a false alarm

Recent update removed functionality. Until recently you could tell how many alerts/detections a device had registered by that number being displayed in a small square box for each device on the “My devices” screen. The box is still there, showing zero for no alerts, but as soon at there are alerts the number now disappears in favour of a new icon that I presume is meant to respond a log. It tells you nothing. You now have to click on that icon to see the number of detections. Not sure how anyone thought this was a good idea.

Fix the update issues or let us choose not to update. These were perfect until the forced update. I didn’t want to update due to all the complaints all over the internet and now I can see why. Please bring back the old app version or fix the playback and notification issues. 1 - playback missing the yellow lines indicating motion detection. It also jumps back to midnight instead of the most recent motion detection. This is NOT user friendly at all. It was so much better before when playback would automatically go to the last motion detection and show the time with yellow lines. Please change back to that. 2 - notifications - why does it now take so long to bring up the footage? It’s making 2 of my cameras redundant. Please go back to the old app, what did the update improve????

Looks good when it works. When I first bought this product I had 3 cameras working off the app no problems and was extremely pleased. It has progressively got worse over time to the point where I struggle to replay even 1 camera’s video footage. Base station continually drops offline even though my home WiFi is extremely strong in the position it’s been placed (40+ Mbs) The 2 cameras I have working intermittently are both within 3-4 meters of the base station with 1 external wall only blocking line of sight. So this should not be the issue either. Firmware and everything is up to date. When the system works, video footage is quite good and you have multiple ways of setting up the cameras remotely to get the video footage you’re after. Not really sure how Eufy are going to fix this but cameras working off your home WiFi as opposed to the Base Station WiFi would be a good start.

Every update makes it worse. When I bought the system ages ago worked well no problems but now every update it just keeps having glitches, keeps saying memory card full even if its only 2% full, wont pick up motions, update taking 12plus hours to do, so cant even see whats happing on cameras, wont record, have to reset the modem every day just so i can get a couple of hours of use out of it b4 it has its glitches Need these camreas to watch over the rescue animals and cant do it so if anything happens its on you eufy, spend thousands on the system, any recommendations on other systems let me know please

Latest update 4.7.1_125 makes app unusable. Have removed and reinstalled app, tried force restart of phone and iPad with latest update and same problems. devices involve using latest iOS on iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPad Pro models. i use all wired cameras in my network. all cameras are on its own router on the 2.4 band. -problems include having to swipe down to refresh and delete multiple event videos only for them to reappear again when app refreshes. have to delete at least 3 times the same video - when viewing live video over wifi or cellular “Establishing secure video channel” lasts for more than 20 seconds and crashes the feed -trying to view video on iphone times out but trying on ipad it works sometimes.

Good app but it’s killing my battery. I have background refresh off and it consistently is using 20-40% of my battery almost entirely from background usage.

Unusable when needing update. Heard a ding early this morning, went to check it right away but it wouldn’t let me view activity, forced me to update before I can see it. Did the update, viewed, turns out the ding was someone entering my property to steal stuff. Went after the person but they were long gone. Thanks Eufy, really protected me when I needed it!

App leaks memory. When viewing for extended periods of time (I sometimes leave it on while I’m working or expecting somebody), it accumulates space on my device despite having record while live viewing set to off. It fills up my iPad entirely forcing me to delete and redos load the app to free space. Been happening for some time now.

Logging in shouldn’t be so hard.. and ads? With $80 cameras?. Fix your login screen

App won’t do 5 Min clips anymore!. I loved this app but a FORCED update made it max 2 min clips from 5 minutes and it isn’t showing all the clips on the app. I don’t want encryption either. I formatted the card but it is still doing only 2 min clips so they are cutting off live footage.

Bring back the battery remaining percentage!. Why did you remove the battery remaining percentage feature for your Doorbell camera in the last few updates? I noticed that it's not present under Power Manager as well. I am very disappointed and would give you a low rating because this is the third update without fixing this issue. As a company, you should consider customer feedback and not ignore it. Your clients would definitely want to know the battery life, so why remove this important feature? I hope your developers can bring this feature back in the next update. It's frustrating to see a feature being removed instead of adding new ones. This is the third update without correcting this issue. Please fix it.

Anybody home?. What is going on with Eufy? The last update significantly crippled my C24 cameras. Among other issues, the update erased my stored videos, broke the “playback” feature, screwed up notifications & motion sensitivity. It blows my mind that it’s been weeks and the problems haven’t been fixed! I was formerly impressed with Eufy, but with these quality issues (and their coverups regarding encryption breaches) I no long trust the company. Eufy really needs to do better!

My 2 year update. Geofencing doesn’t update status I’m home and geofencing won’t switch to home mode, I have to open the app and toggle back and forth for it to stop blasting me with alarm warnings. Same when I leave, I’m gone all day and it still shows home mode. Background refresh is on and location services. It eventually switches but it’s flakey. Terrible excuse for an alarm system. For wireless cameras they are ok for what they do. Talk back is terrible, good luck trying to have a conversation, between the delay in the controls and the terrible audio feedback it’s unusable. With the motion detection at max and the recording efficiency set for the longest video the best you get is a 15-20 second clip of someone leaving. By the time it starts recording you’ve missed all the action and then the clip stops. You get a lot blank shots because it started recording only after someone came and left. I’ve owned this system for a couple years now and cannot recommend it, if you can buy a wired system.

Returning doorbell to store. Pop up adds! The doorbell is going back to store. What a crappy thing for a company to do.

Full of Unwanted Ads. I bought a Eufy doorbell, but the app is full of pop up ads that can’t be disabled. I can’t answer my doorbell until I click through their ads. Very user unfriendly product.

Please fix. After last update it freezes my phone every time I open app.

Offline notification. Any chance you can develop and alert when cameras go offline? Right now I physically have to go into camera, it cycles then indicates the camera is offline. Thanks

Forced Update. Is Eufy deliberately trying to P**s off their customers? If so, they are doing a bang -up job! Apparently, I’m not allowed to use the device that I paid for unless I update the app. Not a good way to regain trust.

I got it!. Little bit slow understanding the app but few tries and I got it! Easy enough!

Eufy 2c. Merci 🙏 Très simple à l’installation et fonctionnement bien aussi Très sécurisé,rien d’autre à dire que ***** 💪

App used to be good - now it’s bloatware. Whomever is in the charge of these awful ads should be fired, the app is just all about ads, similar to what you see in AliExpress or Temu if you get those apps for th first time. It’s all bloated now, with much slower performance. Note to the developers, no you don’t need me see the ads, just remove them like everyone else has asked. And I am on an iPhone 15 pro max, so speed shouldn’t be an issue.

Eufy App. Great app, flawless setup, really user friendly

Giant inconvenience. App is mostly fine unless you need to export videos in bulk from the base storage, can only be done one by one, only in the app and then copied to a separate backup location.

Advertisements. For some reason, Eufy decided to include pop up ads whenever I open the application. The ideal time to sell me something is not when I decide to check my doorbell.

Horrible hardware. Floodlight cam stops working just after one year. Nothing the company can do. Spent $200 and end up in garbage after a year.

Several problems to fix. Records only 60% of what it should even after setting different angles and sensitivity parameters. (Unable to read the videos when on data (LTE/5G) after the last update.) Working fine now. Supportive customer service and IT team. Changed to 4 stars.

Ads as a notification is annoying. The app shows kind of notifications for their ads which makes you think that there is something going on in your security and you need to clear them, otherwise it shows a red alert as a Badge icon. Annoying

Can’t reset time. There is nowhere to reset the time. Mine is 6 hours off & I can’t reset the time. Video tutorials are useless. My eufy is up to date so I can’t update the app

Garbage Signup Process. Thousand Questions + a garbage password reset process and MFA. Whoever designed this app was not a normal human being

Awful software updates. I have 7 cams which used to be great, last couple of updates have caused so many issues, the biggest being little or no sound on all cams so definitely software issue, numerous emails have been sent over the last couple of months, I’m just told new update is coming. Looking to buy some different make cams, spent a fortune on these products and now feel cheated.

Awesome. Sick and no subscriptions

Amazing. Thanks

No more ads!. The pop ups and notifications in app for your own ads are awful. I just missed seeing an event on my property because of one of your popups delaying my access to the feed!

Latest update. The latest update may have fixed some bugs, but it created different problems. For example, I have about a 50% success rate connecting to the base unit whereas previous version was rare. I would like to revert to the previous version.

very slow. i get notifications saying someone’s outside my door. i open the the app to see who’s outside. the app NEVER loads. it’s very slow, it can never pull up the videos. as soon as it loads whoever was outside is gone. this is a huge security issue because what’s the point of a camera if i can’t even see what it has recorded. fix it right away

I HATE you take out the yellow motion highlights. I love the previous version which you can clearly visualize the yellow highlights of motion clips within the entire camera recording, this is one of the competitive advantage Eufy surpassed all other competitors, now it is GONE 😭😭😭😭this is so stupid😡😡😡😡, who ever made this decision is a Fool 🤡🤡🤡🤡. PLEASE HAVE IT BACK!!!

Very good. Very light app so far so good

Updated app loses charge monitoring. Worked fine before recent app update. But now the Dashboard for solar Solocam cameras no longer shows battery charge level over time nor daily solar charge rate. Also if you are using iPhone and change to Dark Theme, the Dashboard becomes dull washed out grey color making the text even harder to read. Have contacted support and no success. I do not think Eufy is big on beta testing- just release buggy firmware and see what happens.

Dvm. Excellent and easy to use.

Indoor cam 2K Not a nest cam replacement. Why Eufy indoor cam 2K is not a google nest cam replacement. All 6 are being returned, and I am not buying the 7 more I need (12 in total), and staying with google nest even though their home app is complete garbage, and the new gen cams are physically horrible. 1- ability to rearrange cams in the order we want in the app. 2- no live feed for all cams in the app home page, not an old screen shot. 3- an 11-15 camera or unlimited tier for for $5 more a month more, not just 10 cams. 4- wall plug needs cable to attach at bottom of plug, not sticking straight out. 5- continuous cloud recording 24hrs a day. 6- stand is too short and in view of cam when bent over to mount 7- base of stand is too wide, can’t put on window ledge that has blinds 8-cable stick out back of cam instead of the bottom, gets in the way of blinds or anything else, not compact at all. 9- cable is 4’ too short. 10- event playback makes you play the entire clip they want you to watch instead of sliding exactly where you need to go, huge waste of time. Nest cam gen 1 (black) is physically built perfectly, the 1st gen cam actually named nest. The current Nest ios app is perfect as of March 18/2024.

New update makes some models completely useless. 4.55 is trash fix this garbage my eufycam2 pro doesn’t work when I use my iPhone on iOS 16.3 and on version 4.55 but it works on my iOS 15 iPhone with eufy 4.33 installed .. fix this trash

Stupid notifications. The app keeps sending notifications for nothing. There’s nothing in the frame and i keep getting notifications all day long. Irritating 😠

Was good until recently …. I thought these were great when they arrived 2 years ago ! Helped us out plenty of times ! But for the past months I have experienced the exact same issues as the other users … some issues with the software/firmware. Where’s the support to fix the bugs ? We have 4 cameras that we rely on and can’t rely on it for months now and it shows as we needed them recently … If their issues don’t get fixed in a more timely manner or if they persist … I don’t see how they will maintain a good reputation. We also wanted to add two more cameras but just don’t see the use currently as they have become unreliable … so we will see as support has stated that they are currently fixing the issues, but this was 1 month ago. So we shall see …

Très satisfait. Installation facile grâce à des instructions claires. Fonctionnement au de la de nos espérances

Easy and looking good. I install it myself in less then 30 minutes and look very professional! love it already

App keeps logging me out every few days. I have 2 factor authentication turned on. Why do you need to do this?

cant login. reset password and told me not use the same password before. When I reset new password to login and told me the password was not correct. There are no customers contact information on the login screen. What is the product manager thinking about?

V. 4.7.1 - No close button???. Hi, new version has some interesting feature, BUT, no CLOSE BUTTON (Option) after watching a recorded video. I have to close the app and restart. Please FIX this.

Good. 👍🏻

Stop showing me ads in the app. Seriously I spent hundreds of dollars on your cameras and your app just keeps showing me sales and pop up deals. I just need to check my effing cameras. Please add the ability to disable the ads. It’s makes me not want to recommend your products. Have a store tab… but stop sticking it in my face all the time.

Latest update has notifications not displaying correctly. The latest update has nulled notifications by not providing a thumbnail or indicating, which camera has received a notification trigger warning. Please update this app to fix the bugs and yes, I have tried uninstalling the app changing the settings, signing out, logging out, and everything that has been suggested, and it is not working.

Updates. I should be able to decide when to update, if I get a notification I should be able to see what’s going on on front of the camera immediately and not forced to do an update first , this a security device

New set up. Great so far

质量不错. 性价比高,可以不用订购,有本地内存。

Avoid Eufy. They are awful.. I have used Eufy cameras and the Eufy app for about 3 years now in my home. The cameras are normal security cameras with no real distinction in the market except price and brand recognition. They are slow to connect and have poor nighttime resolution and clarity. Motion triggering is also meh. The iOS app is an awful piece of trash. It constantly crashes and the developers have the nerve to throw in advertisements all over it — for an app that goes with paid products!!! I paid for these cameras and the app is constantly advertising more cameras and stupid monthly services. For the love of god make it stop. Needless to say, I’m abandoning Eufy for a much better wired system and I can’t wait to be done with this brand. The latest news about sharing video doesn’t surprise me at all. They appear to be a typical Chinese-owned crap company just like all the others. In this case, you definitely get even less than what you pay for. Avoid at all costs.

Loved at first, having some issues. This camera seemed like an excellent buy. The app is easy to use, video quality is good, and the price can’t be beat. We use it as a baby monitor and it definitely outperforms the Safety 1st monitor we previously used. However. In the last few months we’ve had issues with the feed freezing and never recovering. This seemed to correlate with thunderstorms and lightning, possible power flashes. We would wake up to a yelling child but the camera feed would show him sleeping peacefully because it was stuck at an earlier time. This has been happening more frequently and it no longer seems related to storms. It’s just random. It’s very disappointing! Not sure if this is an issue with the app or the camera itself but would love to know if there’s a way to correct it.

Great app, bad UI. The app works great. But there are a few UI quirks that make it frustrating to use. One is the notification banner after you delete a clip or refresh the event list, it covers up the controls. Many time I delete a clip and then need to navigate to another date and have to sit there and wait for it to dismiss. Also when “snoozing” a camera you have to select a time, then tap save. The pop up chooser for time, looks like buttons, not options selector. Would be better if after selecting a time to snooze it just selected it, shouldn’t need to save that setting, as it’s not a setting, can’t open it after and select different time. If these issues weren’t there I’d easily rate as a 5 and recommend it and the cameras to friends.

Great app but could really use a few good features.. I really love the app. It has made setting up my cameras a breeze. I had issues with one of the two doorbell cameras I got and support was very pleasant and sent me a functional replacement no problem. My one big gripe with the app is there is no way to quickly set the camera between “home” and away with a push of a button. I’m not home on a regular enough schedule to use the schedule feature to have to log into each camera to manually change the modes can be a pain. I would like to see a way to quickly switch a whole hole system from “home” to “away and vice versa. Otherwise that is nitpicking. Great app.

Eufy Microphone. Although, I might be stretching my belief, but I believe this issue is due to Eufy distaste for Apple and their HomeKit. Before I linked Eufy to apples HomeKit; when I spoke through the app to the camera, it worked perfectly. A little distorted, but worked perfectly. Upon linking the camera to HomeKit, this feature does not work in the Eufy app, nor does it work in HomeKit. I would also appreciate you to do a much better job, and bring all your products to HomeKit. This is the biggest reason I have yet to extend my camera system and devices. I’m waiting for Eufy to add these features across their platform. I may be the only customer, there might be more customers, but for one customer, you’re losing out on about $2000 total throughout the Eufy products. Just imagine, if I’m not the only one, and you have many people request this feature, the amount of money you might gain by acknowledging us.

Mostly good. I have 10 cameras and two homes. Pretty painless to set up and work great. I originally got them to work with HomeKit, but with restrictions on that end, only four cameras can be attached to a HomeKit instance. The newer HomeKit video stuff actually works similarly seamlessly. I use Home Assistant however, and I wish there was a better native API for interoperability there, but third-party developers are trying to work on that. Major kudos that I do not need to subscribe to cloud services, which is way better than the ring system I also have. However, notifications in the app for sales etc. are super annoying and attract from the otherwise excellent experience. Please get your advertising out of the app.

Updates ruined the app. I’m so tired of not being able to see my cameras in real time. I’ll get a notification that my camera has detected activity, but when I click on the camera it takes 2-3 min if at all to load the video feed, “establishing secure video channel” will display until it tells me to try again, after the 3rd or 4th attempt I give up. I have reset my Wi-Fi, I have unplugged my camera for 10+ min, removed and added it to my app, deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing changes. Customer service says it’s normal and most likely a week Wi-Fi signal. Didn’t have any problems for the last year and a half. Only started having problems after the upgrade. For the most part my indoor cameras work very well, but my floodlights are the big issue and those are the ones I really depend on. Very disappointed. Please reverse whatever upgrade was done!! Or make a patch to fix it.

Becoming buggy on new iOS update crashes phone. Have seen others comment this on Twitter but not here - please figure out what is causing this app to crash, since switching to my new iPhone it has become unusable to check footage or click alerts from notifications since these force my phone to restart. Saw on twitter another user who had older model but same issues since installing iOS 16. Love the products but if app is not usable then they kind of breaks the deal… also please stop this recent addition of forcing us to see ads pop up when checking our app, have it be in the app but not a pop up. We use your app to check our home security and while adding advertising somewhere on screen is fine, forcing a click to x out is really frustrating in a time sensitive security program

Where is my events list???. These camera’s resolution and AI detection seemed like such an upgrade from my last camera. Even compared to ring cameras, with both working simultaneously, these outperformed in multiple ways. Now, the two cameras I JUST purchased for security and recording purposes are not even fulfilling the most basic functions: capturing and recording activity. Barely had these for 1 month and then I realize this new update has EVERYONE in an uproar and threatening to switch to a different brand (me included) and this company has made no announcements or apologies to this disabled feature. I do NOT have time to check my camera every time I’m alerted of activity. The events list is a standard and essential feature. Your customers are asking for a resolution or we will switch products. Fix this please.

Love it!!. We opted on the 2 cam set up, but then got another. The wifi cameras are really strong receiving a signal through walls and on the other side of my 1400sf house. The batteries also last almost a year depending how much they go off. I also love that there’s no monthly fee, and I love the alarm option. Sometimes it picks people up late and occasionally not at all but it’s rare. We ended up ordering another camera, and doorbell. At first the doorbell battery didn’t last long, but after a recent update it’s lasting way longer. Also you can use the older base with the doorbell, just takes some adjustments. Would recommend this product to everyone!!

Superb video resolution.. Fairly easy set up. It would be helpful to have in the instructions when setting up the Eufy security account that when it asks for your email address and password, it is not asking for the password you may have used for some time. Eventually you get a message that a password acceptable to Eufy must be 8-20 characters, a mixture of lower and upper case letters, numbers, and special characters. Once you do this the system will accept this “email password” even if is different from your real email password. Make a note of it or change your real email password to match the one you had to create for Eufy unless yours already happened to meet their criteria.

Geofencing doesn’t work all the time and 2 way audio extremely delayed. It takes 7-8 seconds of holding the hold & speak button and speaking into the phone before audio starts coming out of the camera. Also doesn’t geofence correctly on any of my housemates devices. Also after iOS updates or app updates the geofencing doesn’t work again until you open the app and enter or leave the geofencing zone. I often get the alarm going off on me. Or I get halfway thru my day away before realizing it didn’t geofence and my entire surveillance system is sitting there useless. A lot of maintenance to keep thing working. Update: still not Geofencing correctly. even after opening app to force it to geofence when out of area because it didn't do it automatically, then it geofenced away, then when I came home, it still didn’t Geofence again causing alarms to go off. Not dependable even with all the maintenance. it just doesn’t work.

Geofencing bugs and needs TWO STEPS.... Adding the geofencing feature was great but since one of the latest updates the app doesn’t recognize that my phone is out of the zone and it doesn’t switch to “Away Mode” automatically. Once I realized that someone is home and the app didn’t told me, I have to close the app and reopen again a few times until it updates my location (location services is set up as “always”). This is one of the main reasons why I bought this device. It’s time for Eufy to fix it up and finally finish with this “beta geofencing option” 2. I don’t know how being a “security system “ they haven’t added “TWO FACTORS AUTHENTICATION “. Anyone who gets my password can immediately acces my security cameras!!!! Is that so difficult? Please Eufy, 21st Century is here, release TWO FACTORS ASAP!!

Love Eufy Devices- need to add support to watch multiple live cameras at the same time.. Love Eufy devices and the app. So simple to use and great products to boot. App is simple to navigate and makes it easy to find what I need and change what I may need to change. Only gave four stars because I just wish they had an option/ the ability in the app to watch the live streams of more than one camera at a time. Like a four box grid style that had live feeds of four different cameras. Only thing that stops me from moving all my cameras over to Eufy as it’s not conducive to me as a baby monitor type camera as I can’t watch my twin girls at the same time. (They’re in different rooms at the moment)

Good with a few bugs. I think the app is user friendly but a few things are just weird. I made a few control groups so that I could “supposedly” turn off my indoor cams for privacy. This does not turn them off, it only disarms them. Thus might be ok for a more trusting individual but I would prefer them to actually turn off. This should be simple considering I can turn them off individually with the app. But to further the prroblem, when I tried deleting the groups, you can’t. So now I’m stuck with the group buttons at the top off the app for no reason. Also, I cannot figure out why eufy lets you record to homebase but yet you can’t watch the recordings from the homebase is ridiculous. Please fix these eufy, you almost had a home run.

Decent Camera. We’ve installed 2 cameras around our house after two incidents of vandalism. We got a 3rd incident on camera recently but the lights on the back of the car flooded out the ir light so we couldn’t read the license plate. We have now switched the ir off and will try to catch the license plate. The issue we’ve had with the camera is that when switched on to optimal surveillance mode, the recording stops after the motion stops. Yet it says it keeps running for 60 seconds. The camera screwed up when the kids threw rocks at our window and it only recorded 11 seconds. You have to manually go in and switch the seconds to your preference. Beside that small issue the camera is working fine and battery life seems stable.

Best app / security products. We first got the indoor pan and tilt cameras to watch our dog room, so we can watch to see if they made it back inside or just to see if they are barking. We mounted it to the ceiling and works great. Tons of features and nice when you can have them without buying a whole system like other companies. Then I bought the smart lock with wifi bridge and that’s awesome. It has finger print technology and you can use codes or keys as well you can also unlock and lock from your phone no matter where you are at. Easy to install. Says 15 minutes but it took me 30 minutes since I was taking my time. But for not requiring a full system and you can pick what you want is a great plus. Next is an outdoor camera.

Top-notch products and App. We couldn’t be happier with our Eufy system. We have a smart-lock with camera, 3 floodlight cams and 3 outdoor wireless eufycams. All work well with one another and the whole system is simple to use. Setup was a breeze. Video quality is exceptional. I’ve been tweaking the settings to our liking for the past week, but that’s just because there are so many options to get it just right. Everything is stored locally on our Homebase 3. We got a terabyte drive for it, and we haven’t even put a dent in the available storage. Our wireless eufycams charge with solar. After a week, all three have 100% charge still. We plan to add motion sensors and a couple indoor cameras next. Terrific products.

Keeping an eye on things. Spent about four day’s researching what would fit our needs the best for a reasonable price. Low cost was not our agenda but a wireless system was. After talking to others that owned wireless systems (none owned Eufy) we chose it. Now almost two months later we have no real Complaints. Still have not had to charge the battery and are between 1/4-1/2 life still. We have 30 to 90 recorded events a day. Have adjusted them a few time to try and pick up what is most important to our needs. Very happy with our local police department for suggesting this brand. I only give this 4 stars because the sound is not great. It’s good but not great. The video is great, night vision is very clear. I recommend this system. The Andersons’s

Security and then some. Living in apartments all my life, security is a basic need. Whether it’s to keep someone from damaging or stealing your vehicle to nailing those dwellers with dogs that somehow can’t handle what comes out of them and leaves it for everyone to step in. No, not anymore, and I can tell you the minute they spot that Eufy, you can tell by the look which ones used to leave gifts in the yard! It works beautifully day or night and records perfectly. Worth every penny! Great little camera, and we feel much better knowing any problems will have a record to either back up your recollection or serve as evidence when the police have to be involved. The look on someone’s face when you say, “ I’ve got that recorded, priceless.”

Begging for single button snooze feature!. I love, just love EVERYTHING about these cameras, from set up, to battery life, to video clarity and this company has WORLD CLASS customer service…seriously, they are great. The app even has some nice features and is fairly simple to use except for 1 thing. YOU GUYS HAVE TO ADD A SINGLE BUTTON PAUSE FEATURE! I have 7 cameras and every week when the lawn guy shows up, I have to pause each one individually, or when the kids come over to play in the yard, same deal…This really detracts from the overall experience and so I dinged them a star for that. I dinged them another star because I have submitted this feature request to support more than two years ago and see many others have the same complaint so I know this is not just me…

Sits in the background chugging battery. I noticed my phone was draining battery when not in use and checked my battery stats. Every hour of the day this app is eating battery. While I'm asleep it's the only app using battery. While reading ebooks it's using 1/3 as much battery as my ebook reader which is actively on the screen. Then there's trying to use the app. Click on an event and it take time to load, despite all the battery it's been using. Then slowly connect despite my fast wifi. If I actually wanted to react to an event that's not happening. I don't even see an option to take me to the event in real time, so that's annoying. Having the microphone would be more useful if I wasn't responding to an event by getting what happened 5-10 seconds ago, backing out of that, clicking out of an advertisement in my security system, and then seeing what's actually going on.

Indoor mini. Just purchase the mini yesterday and already notice the between my ring camera.. video quality are way better then ring and I love the tracking. But I would like to see more function for it such as select object to track. Since I used this for monitor my car out side of my apartment. Also I notice the camera keep tracking all the movement when windy out and tree moving around outside of the zone I selected. But overall I love this camera. I cancel my year subscription from ring. Since I could store my video with sd card now. I would love to see this 2k camera and all tech turn into dash cam like ring do too. I would definitely purchase it

Great app, but I hope for one change. It’s a great app, works almost 100% of the time not like others I’ve tried. The only thing I hope they can change is the alarm button location. On my iPhone/iPad it’s located right at the center of the pull up menu which is a bad thing because on the when swiping up to close the app it can be accidentally be pressed. I accidentally pressed the alarm button when swiping up to close the app two times already. The first time I didn’t realize it and my outside camera alarm was on for a few minutes. Luckily I was home and realized the alarm was from my house, I thought it was the neighbors house. I soon realized it was from me and was able to turn it off. If I wasn’t home then the neighbors probably would have gotten upset. Second time was from my iPad but I noticed it right away and turned it off. Or maybe give users an option to relocate icons where we prefer. Other than that I’m extremely happy with with all and all my cameras from eufy.

I hope it will stay that reliable. Many times, it seems, developers are pushing “tinkering around” a bit to far, and in doing so, ending up breaking the app, or at the least make them less reliable. Thank goodness, this hasn’t happened yet with this app and I’m happy and satisfied I went with a Eufy security system. Motion notifications are to 98+% spot on, with just very, very few false “notification alarms”. (Like the angle of the sun hitting the camera a particular way, triggering a false alarm notification). Bottom line, as of this writing the app works like a charm. Only nitpicking: I would appreciate less pop-up announcements in encouraging me to “share your Eufy story”. I’ll remember to do so when the circumstance allows it. Keep the good work up.

Buggy. This app has plenty of potential, it just has some major bugs that need to be fixed. Geofencing doesn’t work. If you use the app’s built-in geofencing, it often won’t notice that you left home until you open the app. (If you use an iPhone and are tech savvy enough to set up Homebridge, you can use iOS’s native geofencing instead. This is how I have my Eufy setup running now.) Cameras and the HomeBase are really finicky about interference. I replaced a competitor’s product, including their base station, with Eufy products. In both cases, the camera and base station were no more than 10 feet from each other, in the same room, with nothing between them but air. The competitor’s product worked just fine, but the Eufy products wouldn’t connect. I had to put the HomeBase 3 in a different room to get the camera to connect to it.

UPDATE 4.6.0 DID NOT FIX DOORBELL🤬. Doorbell delays made worse! Takes 30 seconds and more before two way communication is possible, if at all. Loading, lag time, delays, and error messages. Two way communication is almost impossible. UPDATE FIXED NOTHING:: Lag time and delays accessing video doorbell. Preparing to play, try again, are normal. No two way communication. DOOR LOCK NO LONGER CALIBRATES. EUFY APP LOCKS UP. WORKS OK UNTIL SOMEONE ACTUALLY RINGS THE DOORBELL. That’s when everything falls apart and locks up, with SECURE CHANNEL, PREPARING TO PLAY, TRY AGAIN, MESSAGES. Video doorbell is worthless at this point. IT HAS BEEN WEEKS. WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN FIXED??? As soon as I push talk button EUFY app locks up. No two way communication. Two-way conversation using doorbell is even slower than the video loading. Once accessed two way communication is almost impossible. Random, erratic, slow, undependable. Both video and two way communication. HORRIBLE!! EUFY HOMEBASE WI-FI IS THE WEAKEST ON THE MARKET. NEED TO HAVE LONGER RANGE, STRONGER SIGNAL. 20 Wi-Fi devices and EUFY DOORBELL is the only one that does not work. DOORBELL HAS ONLY WORKED CORRECTLY 3 OF THE LAST 11 USES. Erratic, undependable, random, slow, HORRIBLE. Eufy get rid of all the garbage in your software and fix what you’ve got before moving forward. About the time you get everything working right you have an update and screw it all up again. INSANE.

Door bell and flood lights. Bought the door bell after getting a vacuum that we really enjoyed. Door bell was literally dumb easy to install. I’m Not the brightest and I got it all set up hooked up and wired to our existing door bell following the instructions no problem. This thing is so smart it will ring our existing door bell from 1949. Crazy. Had lots of neat features and me and my wife absolutely love it. Have the flood light set up in the back yard facing the garage it it’s brighter then the sun. Camara quality is great love the two way voice feature on both cameras. The only thing I can think that could this set up better is if the vacuum could get me a beer from the fridge. Eufy has customers for life with me and my wife.

Excellent Hardware & Software (Private & Effective). You would have been on all pros since the initial bugs in full screen display were resolved, but then you asked for feedback using google docs. That’s contrary to privacy since they are against privacy. Seriously! I intend to purchase more Eufy Life products for personal use, for business use, & for a community project. Stay private if you want privacy advocates, or act like some of the other brands if you want to gift wrap a chunk of loyal customers to a more private brand. We will see. I was also planning on buying more for relatives to replace a variety their not-so-private options. Seriously. Thank you for very effective products. We hope to to do more business with you.

Everything works great, except…. I love this camera system, but the app for Apple, when you try and delete videos to free up space… It takes hours, a little bar pops down and says videos deleted… And it sits there in your way for like six seconds. That doesn’t sound like a lot but when you are trying to delete a lot of videos, it is frustrating. The little bar also pops down after you get all of the videos to load, saying “no more data” keeping you from selecting and deleting them for six seconds, Keeping you from moving onto the next day. I would love it if they would update this and make that little bar pop up Down at the bottom. Other than that, I love Eufy.

Not the best app. I live the cameras but the app needs work . The events tab that the recordings are viewed is almost never updated automatically and has to be manually updated (sometimes multiple times ) before it shows any recorded events . Even when you know there are recordings due to people coming and going when you go to the events tab it doesn’t show any events . You have to refresh several times before anything shows up . If this problem is fixed the system would be great but currently it’s easy to miss the recordings due to not showing up automatically . Again refreshing once usually doesn’t cut it and need to do it over and over till events clips show up. Very frustrating . For the record I have the latest app version on the latest cell phone .

Pretty happy with this app. This is a good app, it was confusing in the beginning but when I got the hang of it, I liked it. It gives you lots of camera customization, my favorite one is geofencing, which I enable in the morning till night; I set it up to turn my cameras on when I leave my home and to turn them off when I come back. That’s what’s it supposed to do, but (and this is my only complaint), when I come back home it doesn’t turn the cameras off, but instead, it continues to record me and send motion notifications. ONLY when I open the app and go to home base “Security”, it kind of wakes it up and disable the cameras on its own, without me doing anything. Other than this problem (which I don’t think has a solution) it’s a very versatile app.

App needs more consistency. I purchased two floodlight cams, a doorbell and a wired wall light cam. All of them seem to be high quality and were relatively easy to install with one exception. One floodlight cam would not sync with my network, I called customer support and got a real person right away and they shipped out a replacement the next day! This was amazing… I would give this review for the products and support 5 stars. The two gripes I have is 1. There was no consistency in setup. Some products required a USB connection, while others did not. Some products (i.e. doorbell) did a software update, others did not. 2. My main gripe though is with the monitoring Eufy app. Each type of unit has different options for settings and notifications. For instance, I can specify whether to receive notifications for an individual product like the doorbell, within the app settings, however for the floodlights, I can’t. I wanted to shut notifications off on the garage floodlight because there are too many “humans” walking by my house, yet I’d like to get notified for package delivery on the doorbell. Please align the product setup options!

Extremely well thought out. Very impressed with this product and company. This is my first time purchasing a product and I will admit I did not know much about this company and product before deciding to purchase their surveillance camera but I extremely impressed with what arrived at my door. Everything from the packaging, set up, quality of the product itself, software and application is extremely well engineered. Every step of the process was pain-free and simple. I find myself wanting to recommend this product to strangers on the street because of how impressed I am with every aspect. As a first time buyer, I can guarantee I will be buying more from this company.

Great Quality but Slight Issue. Bought this camera for many months now and it works wonders. However I have had this one issue that happened once and I’m not sure why. So you must create an account to use the app for the cameras in which I did. However after 2 months of using it I had went on vacation and a manager of mine who’s in charge of looking after the camera got logged out. Upon trying to log in it saids the account is not found. I tried doing account email look up and it’s still can’t be found until I clicked sign up again. Simple to resolve but still weird how my account wasn’t found?

Excellent cameras. Money well spent!. I have had these for a year now. Excellent picture quality and recorded sound with the built-in mic. Battery life is pretty good as long as you set decent settings on your recordings. I love that you can schedule each day to whatever you want each camera to do. Push notifications is very quick and the motion detection is good as well. They also filter out false movements very well. The entire system is fully customizable and it gives you plenty of additional products you can add to give you an entire security system inside and out of your home or business. I am very pleased with this. Money well spent! Great product! Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing cameras but need some software tweaks. I got 5 Indoor 2k pan & tilt cameras. It’s an amazing replacement for our iBaby monitor as it became outdated. The quality of the picture is brilliant and the speakers are pretty loud. The tracking feature is amazing and it will not let you miss any events. The only 2 things that I wish eufy correct in the next updates is: 1- you need to keep pressing to talk so you can’t communicate for a long period with your kid or any person in the room. 2- the voice get supressed when you speak so if the other person trying to say something you will not hear him until you stop talking. This will make conversations with the housemade or the kids almost impossible. I hope they correct it with a firmware update.

No notifications at all.. I don’t know what’s happened with the app but I am not getting ANY notifications to my phone (iPhone) and will only get maybe one or two of multiple notifications on my iPad. They’ve both been updated to the most recent updates. Both are set where all notifications should be coming through in the settings. This includes the doorbell and mounted camera. I’ve done every conceivable thing one could do to make sure all is right with the app including but not limited to: a hard reset of my phone, uninstall and reinstall of app, signing out and signing back into app, making certain all settings are enabled and correct in Notification Center as well as in the app itself. I doubt it is my phone (had for just over a year) or iPad that is the issue as the iPad is a brand new purchase as of December 2022. It’s the app. Fix this please. There’s no point in having these cameras if I don’t get notifications from either!

Not bad. It’s good, pretty user friendly. I don’t understand a few things the app does, like with the most annoying example: When viewing videos/events, deleting them prompts a “drop down” message which just restates the items were deleted. Ok, that’s fine I guess… but… The drop down blocks the button you need to click to change days! So you sit and wait for it to go away before your ability to navigate returns! Just… why? Submitted this as feedback and got a “thank you” and then nothing. Many months have passed so now I’m complaining “louder” via this review. It’s really a good overall system, but man they could listen to customers improvement ideas and act on them.

Sent the S330 Camera Back to the Store. After a week of putting a lot of time trying to set up the S330 system (app/camera settings, locations, angles, etc), I returned this product. 1). Slow video activation. Video doesn’t record until I’m 10-20% into camera’s field of view. 2). Inconsistent video activation. Even with Activation Zones setup, sometimes it records, sometimes it doesn’t. In one instance I was half way into my patio door before the camera started recording.(BTW, the camera was setup at 7’ high, approx. 12’ from the door). Positives: A) Fantastic battery life. (With the built in solar panel, I never had to manually charge the cameras, they stayed 100% charge. It’s the reason I kept holding out hope that I could make this work for my application.) B) really good live image quality C) color night vision is nice D) good customer service. From a security standpoint, I just can’t suggest this product.

Smart lock with biometrics. Love the idea of only using my fingerprint to unlock my door, this part works but for some reason my lock always has an issue connecting to the Internet. It gives me false reports stating my door is locked while I’m not home yet the deadbolt is indeed unlocked. Somebody’s going to break into my home, actually just walk into my home because my $250 smart lock doesn’t work correctly. Or the fact that I can’t even turn on the auto lock because of the inconvenience that it locks when I don’t want it to lock. And when it doesn’t connect to the Internet I have to sit there and delete the device from the app which takes six years to do, it continuously loads for some reason. Then I have to go through the whole set up process of putting my fingerprint back into the door. Very buggy very glitchy. Two stars because the fingerprint works pretty well. But the app doesn’t.

Eufy cams. I have several eufy cams and they are very easy to set up and use. Flood light version is good, zone set up could be better. 2K pan & tilt cams are my favorites, I wish they would make outdoor version or an outdoor kit for it. Doorbell (battery) cam with it home kit works well, better wired mode if always busy area and use up all its battery power. Eufy outdoor cam been very good for a self contained wireless unit, battery been impressive so far. All pictures and videos been very good and firmware updates been helpful, didn’t know there was a problem to begin with so more of improvements being applied to each unit automatically is great. Looking to try out their Door locks soon and see how they performs. I’d recommend to anyone looking for good valued products and good products support.

Notifications now just say someone has been seen. But no camera mentioned. Having several cameras I now have to review every camera. That is stupid I just got another notification- Eufy Security - Motion Detected. In order to find out what it means I have to open the notification which opens the camera that caused the notification. It’s usually the doorbell cam which goes off even though I have defined the area, varied the sensitivity, etc. Disappointed with the doorbell camera. Disappeared that when I upgraded to the HomeBase3 I had to dismount ALL THE CAMERAS to bring them back next to the new HomeBase3. I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a way to transfer from the NomeBase2 to the newest one. Climb the ladder, remove the cam, bring it inside, add to the new HomeBase3. Climb the ladder and reinstall the cam. Repeat for the rest of the cameras. Some are mounted in trees.

Great all around security. I have been using Eufy Security for years now. I have migrated from the forced subscriptions of Arlo. I love the fact that the data is stored local and each device includes lifetime usage without fees. Eufy, I am ok if you charge for upgraded features, such as package detection, pet detection, and so on in the app as a one time fee, so keep the in mind so we do not hinder innovations. HomeKit is much needed! I have the battery doorbell, the cam 2 pros, indoor PTZ, the delivery box, and recently purchased the S40s on BF sale. I even sold my dad on the Floodlight Cam 2 Pro on BF sale. I am having difficulties with the S40 (connection issues, video playback impossible at times, reduced 1 start for this) so hopefully firmware or homebase support will take care of it. Eufy, keep up the great work. You have a happy customer here!

Excellent features and no monthly service costs. I set up four cameras around my house and the entire process to connect them to my WiFi and install them took about an hour. Very easy and takes no technical skills. The camera quality is excellent and the app on my phone is great with real time alerts and the ability to view each camera remotely as well as access all recordings of when the camera was activated due to movements. The cost of the entire 4 camera system was very reasonable and this was one of the few DIY wireless security systems that didn’t force you to sign up for a monthly monitoring service.

Extremely unreliable. The most recent update, version 3.5.2 has all but killed the app. It’s extremely unreliable now. When an alert is trigger abs you tap the notification to view the video, it won’t load. Then you have to exit the app, reopen the app, and try to access the video via the stored Events menu. That may or may not work. You just never know. Opening a camera for live viewing takes a VERY VERY long time to load—so don’t rely on this camera system for your safety, it’s just not responsive enough. Sometimes the Live view doesn’t work at all and the app crashes. Trying to use a camera settings to something like disable motion detection is extremely slow and often doesn’t work at all. The system works if you want to see something minutes or hours later, like who stole your package. If you need quick, real time viewing mine who’s at your door—forget it.

Doorbell. My 1080p video doorbell sound just completely stop working they visitor can hear me but I can’t hear them I powered cycled it and checked all my audio setting and it still don’t work I spoke with eufy and the rep said they would send me a replacement I then asked if I received the replacement first and she definitely said yes but when I received an email from them and this is what it said this is very disappointing this replacement can take up to 10 days after they receive the defective one and for them to revive that can take up to 5 to 7 days additional wth This means I will have no doorbell for at least 10 to 15 days what is going on with this company. (Please send the defective doorbell back to us so our product engineers can analyze it and discover why this happened. I have attached a prepaid label for you. Please note it expires in 20 days.

Missing Essential Functionality. I recently bought 6 Eufy c24 indoor cameras to replace my Arlo system. I was initially impressed by the price and quality of the Eufy camera and software. When I added the second Eufy camera to the system, however, I discovered that each indoor camera must be separately controlled via the app. There is no way to set all cameras to “Home” or “Away” with one button - mode changes must be made individually for each camera (seriously?); schedules have to be created separately for each camera, custom modes have to be recreated for each camera….Basically, each indoor camera is a separate system unto itself. I’m still somewhat baffled that this is the case and I’m bummed by this limitation. I had hoped to create a system of 6 indoor camera, but having to manage each camera separately is too cumbersome. Sadly, I’ll be returning them and will look for a better integrated solution. Good system that is ruined by the lack of a fundamental software feature.

Not on par with Ring yet. I think many are waiting for a solid security solution rivaling Ring and Nest to get rid of the low video quality and subscription model but before that happens Eufy must invest in the app instead of new products: - Make notification intervals aka. cooldown timer available for all cameras including the ones connected to a Homebase - Make notification per event type available across all camera, ie which event type leads to a notification - Show battery power in % rather than bars - Display useful Wifi statistics such as TX,RX Rate, RSSI, etc - Finally add some camera to Homebase 3 instead of pushing it out all the time - Overview where all cameras can be configured in regards to notification types etc - Better ipad/tablet support where doorbell view as example doesn’t force you in portrait mode - Fix playback timeline and introduce Netst/Ring style scrubbing - Add option for 15s, 60s, 300s snapshot interval so we get a continuous timeline - Display charging statistics for externally solar powered cameras - More transparency around security issues In short we need a lot more consistency across the camera products. Then this can be truly considered an eco system worthy of replacing the tier 1 vendors.

Pick anyone else. Horrible support. I’ve have several cameras with this company, and have reached out to their tech support MULTIPLE times because multiple cameras won’t store feed.. AT ALL. I watched my storage from unlimited to 3 days, to 2 weeks, to 3 days, to ZERO!!! my camera feed indicators quite lied say ZERO on the little feed indicator icon. I provided screenshots of this to their tech support. The genius’s there have decided that since ONE out of my FOUR cameras requires an SD card.. there couldn’t POSSIBLY be a software issue, despite the fact up to 3 cameras at one time will refuse to store ANY feed.. right now it’s 2 cameras.. again.. 2 cameras is TWOCE AS MANY CAMERAS throwing errors, than what I own with an SD CARD!!! so I’ve been forced to have these cameras which have been essentially useless, and ironically, 2 of them were under warranty during their technical assistance refusal. Literally.. go. Anywhere. Else.
