Unable to access premium services & no customer service. ,Although I thought it was a little expensive, I like the app and signed up for the premium service. However, I have not been able to use the premium service and it continues not to recognize that I’ve paid for the premium package. I’ve reached out to customer service via email several times and have not received a response. Can someone assist me in accessing the premium service?

Doesn’t have it all. This app does ALMOST everything. The export feature is spot on. And I like the simplicity of it. Good design. Not overwhelming to learn or visual sensory overload. Those are all good things. Some improvements need to be made to the categorisation system. It isn’t accurate. It doesn’t need to be perfect, but it took a Whole Foods receipt and categorised it as office supplies. Something that says food and has food items all over the receipt is not an ambiguous categorisation. In addition, it needs to divide the categories into a chart or graph so you can identify what your expenses are going toward. Where’s an app that can take a pic of a receipt, categorise it appropriately, and then show a charted or graphed summary of the data? Combine that with the export and business features this app already has.. Now that would be a powerful budgeting and recording app suited for everyone’s needs.

Best Receipt app. I’ve had a few receipt apps before, this one is truly the best! User friendly and automatically fills in info. Highly recommend.

Bad Customer Service. I love the app. But I went to purchase the pro version, and the app has locked me out. I have reach out to someone and received a cut and paste response and that is it for the last 48hrs. Problem is I have my receipt in the app and can’t print them. So I’m going to have to redo the last three months. So good luck!

I LOVE THIS!. It has a glitch in that it won’t pick up the Home Depot receipts you have to type them in or dictate it which I like that you’re able to dictate the name and you don’t have to type that’s the only issue I have with this app, otherwise, I love it!

This app pays for itself x 5. When I filed taxes, I owed >$1000. But when I applied the expenses that I recorded in this app, I then received $600 back. Receipts fade, so it’s good to be able to take a picture in an organized folder that calculates the math for me.

App. This is the best app for business owners!!!! You scan your receipt and it totals it up for you yes!!!!! Easily able to be exported and forwarded to an email or printer

Blows Expensify and others out of the water. I have to quickly scan and organize dozens of receipts on a weekly basis for my business, and after trying a ton of other receipt scanning apps, including Expensify, I finally landed on this gem. The interface is simple, intuitive, and super efficient. The scanner will automatically pull transaction information from any receipt, which a) works instantaneously, unlike other apps, b) is insanely accurate, even on faded or distressed receipts, c) separates out tax from the total, and d) it shows a little snippet image extracted from the original receipt image next to the transaction amount, so you can easily confirm that the amount was correct without needing to look back at the original image. These features are subtle, but they add up to big big time savings. Finally, the app allows me to organize receipts into folders and export them in multiple formats, including excel. This is so much better than Expensify’s idiotic system of reports that can’t be changed after exporting, and which only export to pdf. This app is well worth the price! And trust me, I’ve tried ALL the big receipt tracking apps, this one’s the BEST.

So far So good. I like the app to take pics of receipts. Very easy to edit for exact dollars and can separate into categories. Email pics of receipts is nice except that you need to download to your computer in 7 days. However, you can just check them off and resend again.

Company became political. Loved this app until I got an extremely long email about our current president being no good for our country. Why would a business pick a side in politics. I guess they don’t want everyone’s business. Just the business of those who agree with them politically. So sad. Had to delete and find another receipt tracker.

Saves me so much time. I had to write a review to support this app and let others know it’s the best receipt capture app available. Seriously saves me so much time and connects to QuickBooks. Love it!!!!

Amazing and unlimited scans. Finally found an app that scans my receipts, takes in the data and automatically writes an entry for it. The best part is that there is no monthly fee or subscription fee or limited number of scans. Definitely recommend this!

Amazing!. Just what I needed when I needed to turn in meal totals, I took the pic, named the folder, it created a PDF with totals in columns plus a copy of the receipt!! Exactly what I needed when my scanner was out, this is so smart and practical!!

Hopes Dashed! 😢. I had hoped to find a suitable program to replace NEAT Receipts, the long overpriced and buggy commercial program. I was excited to use Receipt Lens during the trial period because it seemed to meet all of my needs. Once I subscribed to 1 year of use the program seems to have deteriorated significantly. Scanned receipt processing times out before completion, and I cannot even manually add a receipt at this time. (My efforts to contact technical support for a different issue earlier were met with no response at all.) Needless to say, I am disappointed. I would like a refund of my subscription fee, and I will go back to NEAT Receipts until someone creates a better program. Or, at least, responds to user issues.

Handy. I’ve been driving professionally for about 10 years and this is a very handy app to have on my phone however I wish it was cheaper. More people would use this product if it was cheaper, even though I have to enter everything manually it’s not a problem I still love the app very much! Five stars all day and every day!

Great App. It’s a fantastic little app that takes a simple task and helps with tracking and reporting. I use it for personal and business needs. It allows you to take a pic of your receipt, and from that it will prefill the line items for you. It doesn’t always get it right, but for an automated system it’s pretty good. It’s fast enough to not be cumbersome and it allows you to add categories and folders or a note to help with delineating the expenses you might want have to track, and you can export the info too.

Ahh- something is wrong. I i’ve been using this app for almost a year now but no issues and today it is not working correctly, loading correctly, readings information on the receipts correctly and it saying I didn’t pay for it when I actually paid a lot of money to use the app so I’m not sure what’s going on. Ugh fixxxx this.. I was so hopeful. Typically I would write this five stars but it’s not working right..

Great App for tracking and submitting expense reports. This app is simple and gets the job done if you need to track receipts and have them put into an excel sheet so you can send them to your boss. It will send both the receipt images along with the excel sheet.

Great app, but lacks customization. Works perfectly for scanning receipts and exporting them in a spreadsheet. Had to give it 4 stars because you can’t customize the spreadsheet at all, no options or settings or templates. Add this option and it would be 5 stars without a doubt.

Poor. I seldom if ever give a negative review to an App. I do know there are people working and App need to have a price. However, I bought this one by mistake (my fault), I didn’t realize they were charging $99 just a week later. The App is not worth 99$ at all, it is too simple, and what it give you is not much. A scan, and a total grouped in folders. That is not much, and doesn’t justify that amount of money. Moreover, I use the App to keep track of expenses in US$, I scan receipts in US$, but the app recognize that I am not in the US and converts the amount from another currency into US$. Absurd! The online version is also poorly done, a simple spreadsheet, nothing more. That again is not worth that money. There are other Apps that do the same with better interface for free. I paid, I shall keep it for a while not to feel too bad, then I shall delete it.

5 star app with a 1 star Rating. Here’s why!. This app is actually fantastic.. for the most part. This is easily a five star app but I have to give it a one star rating in hopes that this company recognizes they are missing on a huge point. Return Receipts… Unfortunately if you scan a receipt that’s a return it keeps the number positive instead of negative so you can not accurately keep track of your “total” in specific folders. This is a massive miss for exporting when it’s tax season. It doesn’t seam that updating your app to reflect the negative symbol would be very difficult to do. Once this is corrected I would easily change my review to 5stars. Until then I highly recommend looking else ware and not spending any additional money on the subscription for this app!

Basic. Does okay on basic one item receipts. Most of my receipts have more than one item and often multiple categories. App doesn’t handle those. If it did, it would be a great one, especially for the subscription price.

Sales Tax Life Saver!. This App has freed up so much of my time. I used to go through each receipt keeping records of sales tax (tax deductible), until I found Receipt Lens! Now, I snap a photo, it organizes the receipts, and enters the sales tax and the total paid from each receipt into excel. Once you export the report to your email, it automatically adds up all the receipts for you so you know how much you paid in sales tax and how much you paid over all. It works really well and so far, no errors found. I don’t know how I went so long without this! Great App!!

It’s the customer service! And the app!!!!!. Look, this receipt storage and organization app STILL is really the only one I found that actually applies laser focus to receipts. It’s easy to use. It works very neatly 100% of the times used. Sometimes the app cant see the vendor’s name. But the thing that gets me to pay for the service is the customer support. But this app and service with confidence.

Need tax on cash receipt as separate item on export. Need tax on cash receipt as separate item on export THE OCR scan is excellent, shows details of cash receipt including tax. Unfortunately I need to get tax line item to report to IRS. The export sends total $ to excel without tax line item broken out. :-(

No Export function for free uses?. It used to let me export the expense up until 2022 Feb, and I don’t know what happened after that, but when I try to export the receipts, it leads me to the subscription page and won’t let me download the receipts without subscription. Not sure when the change was made, but it is extremely inconvenient.

Really great and simple app. Really great and simple app to use. I hate paper receipts abd trying to hero the in good enough shape to be readable down the road! 😐 I swear the fade like they do on purpose, how can the return policy on the back stay legible for years but your proof of purchase is gone in weeks!!!!???? Anyways… i use the free version and all I need to do it take a picture it records the date, time, amount, tax and store name automatically! So nice and all I have to do it make sure it’s going in the correct category. It keeps them sorted month/year and tells you the total spent in each category every month. This way exactly what I wanted and more, and it’s free! You can upgrade for features of course but I don’t need anything more at the moment. So I would and do highly recommend this app if your just need something simple, quick and reliable!

Good app. A good app, I wish the printouts were better and could consolidate like receipts together. But over does a good job. Print outs need to be better.

I cannot see receipts any longer.. After a few months of utilizing the application I can no longer see any receipts that my employees take pictures of. I can see the amounts but no pictures. I have contacted the customer service several times with no response. I hate to write a bad review but they have left me no choice. My company was dependent on this app. I guess this is what I get. We are now back to sending screenshots.

Perfect. This App is just what I was looking for. It recognizes almost perfectly, 98% accuracy, the date, the total amount, the tax, the net amount and lets you put them into categories with folders. There are over 15-20 categories already and you can add, edit or delete them. It keeps a running total and lets you export the items however you want, whenever you want without any additional charges. Amazing!

Works Good, just two things. Need to be able to move folders around to a certain order. And be able to export by to month or by quarterly. And have them separated

Great Tool. Only complaint is the Enterprise subscription is very poor. We need to be able to create shared sub folders in any shared folder. Otherwise it’s not truly useful for enterprise.

Independent contractor life saver. Really great. Saves your receipts and auto populates your totals. Allows you to create folders and organize your expenses. I wish you could make sub folders though so you could separate the folders by section or year

Paid app. I’ll give three stars because it says it’s a NO PURCHASE APP and after a while you can’t use it anymore at least you pay for a subscription. Other than it’s a simple and organized way to keep track of your receipts.

Good. Good at doing what it is made to do- extracting total and tax & easy to digitally keep and organize receipts. Would love to see a feature that also recognizes the cost of individual items. Would like to compare costs of same items from different companies for finding best priced items.

Min price = $60 !? Nope!!!. Looking for alternative to business travel expense tracker I’ve been using. Reviews for this were pretty good (though many sounded too good). Down loaded and find the cheapest option is 1 yr for $60. You can try for 7 days but if you forget to cancel, then cha-Ching. If not willing and confident enough about the product to offer at a monthly price - then no way!

Works partially. We paid the money to be able to share with me and my spouse to be able to add receipts as we go. This still doesn’t work, been a year almost. And the customer support Ha! We’ve been trying to get this to work from the beginning and we were supposed to be moved up to the next level after months of trying to get this to work and still doesn’t let more than one person be able to use. But the app for keeping track of receipts of the one person works pretty well.

WOW. I have tried 4 other apps and this one is the most simple and by far the best. Every time I scanned receipts and all the other apps they would never auto fill in. This app even with crappy receipts can read it and it auto fills. What an amazing out and thank you to the developers

Great time saving app!. As a small business owner, I was in search of a device or application that would allow me to quickly scan expense receipts - and after doing my research - Receipt Lens really came out on top! The app is super easy to use and it exports my scans to QuickBooks! If you run a small business - be sure to get this app!

Super easy, awesome. And they don’t require account setup to Start 7 day trial. They got me. When week is over I will be paying whatever monthly rate is over now that I’ve uploaded ALL my receipts for free today.

It works!. The excel export is fantastic. The totals and dates are read correctly. Just wish i could read the line items too.

Charged before trial period was over. I downloaded on 7/3 with the understanding I had 7 days to try it and than I would be charged for the membership. At this time I’m not sure that I’m 100% satisfied with it. I feel that the OCR is not great. Also I have not had the opportunity to test the comparability with QuickBooks

Deleted immediately. I downloaded this app and tested it on three receipts. My goal was to track business expenses for my farm. The first receipt, from Filaree Garlic Farm, the app read as a receipt from the US Postal service, and categorized it in meals. The second receipt was from Johnny’s Selected Seeds, the app read it as a CVS Pharmacy receipt. These are full page sized receipts, not small crinkled hard-to-read receipts. I don’t have time for this.

Amazing !!!. I absolutely love this app and I honestly don’t have any negative to say. This app is very helpful and i don’t have to worry about staking my receipts all in my purse and wallet. I literally take a picture and and upload all of information on the receipt or make sure the information matches up & I can throw it away. 👍🏾 Major things up for me.

Trialing. So far this app in a nutshell, simple and easy to use and understand, I find the explanation on how to use it is self explanatory and efficient…hopefully it stays that way as then it will be worth the purchase for sure

Great app but just stopped working. I have been using this app for a while now and it worked amazing. This really helped keep track of my union expenses but recently it’s completely stopped working and no matter what I do when trying to add a new expense I get “something goes wrong” error and haven’t been able to add anything since.

Broken. I used it for a while - until I hit some limit. Now it has limited functionality - and it won’t let me upgrade to premium - there is no link to buy that works. It has wasted my time - I now need to spend time getting the data out of the app.

So far so good!. Works very well we were using dropbox before but we think this will be a good alternative! As a sidenote… The app says seven days of free membership but when you click you only receive three days you might want to change that.

Canadian receipts. Good app. Problem : I am from Quebec, Canada and the tax is mentionned as "TPS/TVQ" on receipts, not "tax". Because of this, the app doesn't recognize the numbers and you have to enter them manually.

What I’ve been looking for !. I’ve been looking for a simple tool to upload receipts and keep in folders according to type. This is perfect. I’m in Canada and amounts come through in USD but it’s not a problem for me.

Angry. I was using this app for over 3 yrs. Multiple files and large volumes of documents saved. Used multiple times daily. One day I went to open the app and all my data is gone, my account cannot be located….. Shame on me for not backing it up regularly. I’ll be sure to do that with the next app I use. I won’t be returning to use this any longer.

Amazingly accurate and reliable. Ive been using this app (free version) for a while now and its been amazingly accurate and reliable. Every time I'm like ok this one its gonna mess up theres no way the receipt quality is garbage and to my surprise it still manages to auto detect tax and total. I find the paid version too pricey tbh. I would love to contribute to the project but i am not willing to pay 80$ year since i only use it like 4-5 scans a month. If they make a cheaper tier like 10-20$ year with a scan limit of like 20-30 a month id be happy to pay for that.

OCR doesn’t work more than 20% and never captures tax info. I’m not pleased with this app as I have scanned 245 receipts and wasted hours for terrible results. Glad it was a trialing

Awful !!. Confusing app full of ads wanting me to pay ridiculous amounts of money to extract total, tax and vendor. It failed categorizing my receipt and also did not extract line items. Sorry but no go from me if I have to manually do the data entry.

Expensive for a well working app.. If you love a functioning app and have lots of dough to burn, this is your guy. This app is way too expensive, in other words, highway robbery. Money burned like wildfire.

App is not free to use. This app is “free” with in-app purchases, this already made we weary but I downloaded anyway. You have a seven day trial period then you get locked out or must pay. Be warned I didn’t try the app in any other way so I can’t comment on functionality
